Alaku’s Agreement

This little story of just over 5000 words didn’t take very long to write. It’s sort of an in between story, where a prequel would’ve helped, and a sequel is kinda expected. I’m not sure if it is decent enough to stand on its own. It involves a human and a wolf god with more of an Indian (Native American) feeling to me. There’s some interaction and then an adult scene. There is a touch of magic though.

This was inspired by one of NatalieDeCorsair’s werewolf artworks, and I originally meant for the female character in the story to be a werewolf (larger proportions) but opted for a wolf with regular anthro proportions instead. Anyway, I hope y’all enjoy reading the short piece.

Edit: thank you for corrections!

The sounds of distant birds in the forest were overshadowed by those of crickets and other insects in the wild grasses of the gently rolling hills preceding them. The air was warm and damp, the humidity resulting from the lay of the land. Tall impenetrable mountains oversaw the thickly forested hills and thin strip of lowlands bordering a neighboring sea. The rain was rarely fierce, even during the wet season, but the sky was usually kept in an overcast as a result. The forest floor always had a darker more secretive appearance in this area than the lowlands and ascending hills.

All of this was visible from the crest of a grassy hill that a lone human walked along. The man named Hotah cautiously stepped along a thin trail bordered by the wild grasses. The subtlest of breezes made them bend and sway so delicately. Behind him was a large old sign along a worn fence. The words had faded long ago, but the meaning was obvious to anyone who found themselves this far into the untamed wilderness. Turn back! His eyes vigilantly looked towards the closest section of trees where the path led towards.

'I should never have come here all those weeks ago.' He thought to himself only to shudder. The memories flashed through his mind and gave him a mixture of emotions to think over. It was his own arrogance and pride that led to his undoing, but he couldn't let that deer he was hunting escape. Following the same path that he had used arced ever closer to the tree line. His heart started to beat faster as he neared the ancient forest.

The human's hands became clammy as he started sweating a little. His eyes scanned the trees only three or so meters away. Smaller saplings, grasses, and brush concealed some of the deeper forest floor, but there were gaps wide enough to peer into the darker areas.

“Caw! Caw!" The sudden cawing of a crow made him turn around and look. The black feathered corvid flew away from a nearby branch and disappeared from sight.

'Calm down.' He told himself, but couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. As a hunter and archer, the thought of becoming hunted unnerved him to no end. Being unarmed didn't help his sense of vulnerableness. He felt like a hawk without talons. His eyes returned to scanning the edge of the forest, too nervous to take a shortcut.

'No…' He paused as a rustle caught his attention, but from the corner of his eye the human could only make out a blur of dark grey fur leaping towards him at incredible speed. He instinctively reached for his knife that wasn't there, and was quickly tackled by a strong force. His breath was nearly knocked out of his body, but he couldn't move either. His vision cleared, and his eyes stared wide and helpless at the monstrous being atop him.

Pinned with his back to the ground, he looked up at a wolffish head with a muzzle full of teeth staring down at him a mere inch from his face. Icy blue eyes seemed to penetrate his soul with an omnipotent gaze. The second long flash of detail to his assailant brought terror to his heart. However, the beastly creature did not harm him. Instead, a damp black nose brushed over his own before a wide tongue bathed his entire face and neck.

“Stop!" Hotah cried out for mercy, but the beastly female continued licking his neck and face. He grabbed her furry cheeks and tried pushing her head back; but the human's fingers only managed to sink into her thick fur and hold onto her powerful jaws instead. He half coughed and sputtered as she didn't cease licking him. The human gave up after a pointless struggle. He laid still and let her wide tongue bathe his skin without challenge. Chill bumps rose and fell in quick succession as the appendage bathed over his throat, chin, mouth, and then eyes with quick laziness.

Completely vulnerable, his life could've been ended many times over, and yet, she did not do more than embarrass him. Hotah only opened his eyes once she stopped. Alaku had backed off slightly, but she was still looming over him. A canine grin was etched into her muzzle that vaguely made him think of a demon. Not entirely a wolf, but not entirely a human, she was the god who oversaw the highland forest and mountain. And the wolf god had a name.

“Alaku…" Hotah said breathlessly.

“What?" She questioned. “No hello, or proper greetings first?" Her wolffish feminine voice teased. The human wiped his face with a shaky hand, and managed to frown at her.

“Y-you pounced on me!"

“Not very different from how we first met." She reminded him. Hotah exhaled in disagreement, but could not look away from her penetrating blue eyes. After a brief silence, Alaku rose up and held out a hand. He glanced at the thick black claw each bulky finger possessed before grasping her black leathery palm. She was warm to the touch, but firm in her grip as she pulled the human to his feet.

Standing before her, Hotah was a little shorter than the wolf. However, that subtle difference felt like an entire meter given her stature. The wolf's fur hid her strong body very well, but there were plenty of hints to notice. Her powerful legs were digitigrade, yet she walked upright just like him. Her fur covered arms were hardly different from his own, except for the claws she possessed instead of nails. Her jaws clearly possessed enough power to crunch through bone, and her teeth had a wicked deadliness of their own.

Despite her obvious strength, Alaku was female, and a fully fledged female at that. Being completely naked, it was plain as day to see her bare bosom despite her thick coat of dark grey and black fur. Everywhere else was much more concealed under her coat. No human had likely set eyes on her in decades, maybe even a century until he had.

“You're very quiet." She noted his prolonged stare and silence; but knew there was something on his mind.

“Will you allow me to hunt again?" He asked. The wolf's ears wiggled at first, but her expression didn't change.

“No, not yet." She told the human much to his disdain.

“Why not?" Hotah wanted to know.

“You're not ready to hunt again." Alaku plainly answered.

“I'm not injured, of course I am ready to hunt again." He stated.

“I know that, but you're not going to hunt yet." The wolf remained firm.

“Ok…" Hotah blew a pent up sigh and looked away for a moment. “Then why did you want me to return?"

“You are to come here when I ask." She reminded him.

“I know, but why today?" He didn't understand what she wanted.

“I will take you to my den." She told him. Hotah blinked in surprise.

“Now?"

“Hmm. Not quite yet. You need to bathe in the lake first." She smelled the air and advised the human.

“Bathe? Why?" He found her request odd.

“Yes. I can smell the impurities on you." Her nose briefly wrinkled causing the tips of her lethal fangs to show themselves. The flash of her teeth, even accidental, was more than enough for him to agree with her.

“When you say impurities…"

“It means something spiritual and physical." She clarified without saying any details. “Besides, you smell like a human." Alaku added.

“I am a human."

“You might say that's part of the problem." The wolf snickered and started walking away. Hotah frowned for a moment but followed her along the pathway in the grass.

“So you haven't told them about meeting me?" Alaku mentioned.

“No." He shook his head. “I'm afraid they wouldn't believe me, but I'm also afraid that they would believe me."

“Why?"

“If they believe me then I could be ousted from my village." He worried. Hotah didn't want to become an outcast regardless of the cost.

“If that happens then I will permit you to live here with me." She offered. A chill ran up Hotah's back at the prospect of having to live with the wolf god.

“But if they don't believe me then they will think I am lying or crazy. I told them that I had a vision in a dream." He explained. “So I cannot hunt until a later time. Our head shaman agreed with my interpretation."

“That's fine." Alaku seemed to agree. They crossed the gentle slopes of the hills in silence until a small lake emerged beneath the grassy slopes. Not much farther away was the base of the mountain itself, and its steep rocky cliff faces. There was a natural untouched beauty to the entire lake. Reeds and rushes lined much of the shallow edges where wildflowers grew plentifully. Moss and clover were thick thanks to the damper soil. There were no footprints, discarded nets, old canoes, or discarded bamboo fishing poles. The blue waters were still like glass unless a strong breeze disturbed the surface. A few ducks were floating at the opposite end, but otherwise they were the only people visiting.

'I don't even see a game trail.' Hotah noted the uniform ground. A soft echo of roaring water also caught his attention from further ahead, however, he couldn't see anything with the cliff faces in his way.

“Is there a waterfall nearby?"

“Yes, it's around those cliffs and feeds into the portion of the lake we can't see from here." Alaku pointed. Hotah started to remove his clothes but hesitated and looked over his shoulder at her.

“What are you going to do?"

“I would join you, but I already bathed this morning." She told him with a little grin.

“I'm glad you already did." He rebuffed her. Alaku gave a little snort but wasn't deterred as he undressed. The human felt a little nervous with his back to her. He didn't expect her to pounce on him again, but the wolf god was impossible to predict.

'She's not moving.' Hotah realized as Alaku sat down in the mossy clover and watched him closely. With his clothes removed, he approached the pebble littered shore.

“Is there a spirit or god lurking under the water?" Hotah asked.

“Hehe, no." The wolf giggled at the idea.

'I still don't trust her.' He stepped into the cool shallow water. He waded out about waist deep and briefly plunged down to soak himself. Hotah splashed and wiped his face several times.

'What does she mean by spiritual impurities?' He wondered and wiped his hair from his face. It sounded like something a shaman from his village would tell him. He remained quiet as water dripping from his chin. The distant soft roar of the unseen waterfall quietly echoed in his ears. It was a peaceful moment, albeit brief, for him to reflect on everything.

'How did I get myself into this mess?' He asked himself despite knowing the answer. It had happened only a week ago, and yet it felt like so much more time had passed. Hotah vividly remembered chasing after a deer he had been tracking. His fist clenched when he thought about jumping the boundary hastily.

“Are you done?" Alaku called out from the shore where she was reclined. Hotah breathed a sigh before rising up and washing himself off a final time before wading back to the pebble shore. Dripping wet, he had nothing to dry off with. He discreetly covered himself out of habit. Being naked in front of her still felt as embarrassing as being naked in front of any woman. However, Alaku seemed oblivious to how he felt.

“Your skin will dry faster than fur." She reasoned. “Follow me. You can carry your clothes if you like, but there's no need to wear them. It isn't cold." Her request was odd to Hotah, but he gathered his clothes and followed the wolf up the gentle slope of the hill. Their next destination was Alaku's den. He briefly thought about running away, but the chase would be over in mere moments. He was completely naked and lost without her guidance so deep in the ancient forest.

'She would likely enjoy hunting me.' Hotah frowned at the idea of her taking pleasure in tracking him down. The human kept close to the grey and black furred female as they walked over the moss and clover to the grass. The humid air didn't help his skin dry as they crossed the hills close to the rocky cliff faces. They entered a light patch of trees and began ascending up a steeper incline. The grasses thinned and stones were more prevalent. Pines and oaks with bent trunks grew at overhanging angles, reducing his line of sight at random areas. He felt a little nervous as she led him up a rocky pathway that narrowed higher up.

'What does her den look like?' He wondered if it would resemble a large hole in the ground or something similar to an old house. Would it appear hellish given her mischievous nature, or be more plain? They ceased ascending any further once they arrived on a roughly flat level at the edge of a steep cliff. The modest flat space before the entrance overlooked much of the forest and hills all the way towards the border leading back down to the lowlands and coastal village.

A pathway leading even higher up was visible, but Alaku took Hotah across to an wide opening in the rock.

'This must be her home.' He realized as they approached a wide entrance. Alaku's den had a surprisingly comfortable feeling to it. The floor was completely clean and smoothed. Numerous fine fur pelts were piled in one section creating a large area to sleep on. Clay pots and woven baskets lined a space closest to the bedding. A fire pit was in the center towards the entrance and fully stocked with kindling and firewood. Glancing at the cave ceiling, there was a noticeable crack where smoke could rise up and exit.

Plenty of animal skulls, particularly deer, elk, and various birds were hung up along both walls. Each was painted with ritualistic markings with many colors of paint, but focusing on swirls with dark greens and deep blues. Long strips of leather adorned with numerous feathers also hung on the wall. To his surprise, Alaku possessed what looked like a spear and war club. Both appeared otherworldly with their designs. Despite all of the unique decorations and items that she possessed, a nicely sized pile of bones made him nervous.

“Are those-?"

“None of the bones are human." She tried reassuring him. “I never hunted humans, and I would never devour their flesh."

“Uh. Yeah…" Hotah didn't say much in return. The human cautiously stood close to the entrance while the wolf made herself comfortable by the fire pit. She created a fire and retrieved a small object.

“So why did you bring me here?" Hotah asked.

“I need to put this on you." The wolf held up a strange wooden bracelet of sorts. Rather than forming a complete circle, two knobs twisted around at one point with a short tassel.

“Why? Will that hurt me?" Hotah wasn't in a position to refuse her, but he didn't like the idea of wearing something made from her beastly hands.

“No, it won't hurt you." She promised. “Hold out your arm, please." Hotah approached the wolf, sat down before her, and held out his arm as she untwisted the knot with her dexterous fingers. The band partly uncoiled but remained in a nearly complete circle. Alaku reached up and tied the band around his upper arm, directly below his shoulder.

“That's tight." Hotah winced but didn't remove it.

“It needs to be." She told him. The band suddenly felt even tighter around his arm and then to his surprise, it vanished entirely.

“What?" Hotah blinked and felt his arm, but it was really no longer there. However, he could see a faint pattern resembling a tattoo emerge on his skin. “What happened? What did you do?!" He demanded to know.

“Calm down." Alaku patiently told him. “It is a special armband."

“What does that mean?"

“In case you try to harm me, a vine or rope will emerge from your arm to restrain you."

“Harm you?" He found the worry ridiculous. “I can't overpower you at all!" It made absolutely no sense to the man. He was in the depths of the ancient forest, at the foothills of the impenetrable mountains, and Alaku placed magic onto him so he couldn't harm her?

“And you could…" his voice faded as his mouth dried. “You could kill me." Hotah whispered and felt his skin crawl as he spoke the words. The wolf looked over at him, sensing the fright in his voice.

“I'll tell you when you need to know." She measuredly spoke. Hotah wanted to speak his frustration, but held his tongue. She held his arm again and inspected the markings that grew where the armband once coiled around him.

“Hmm…" Alaku softly hummed as she thought to herself. She turned back to the fire for a moment and carefully scooped up some of the ashes into her hand. The wolf returned to him and brought them to his upper arm. The warm ashes were then rubbed onto his skin. Hotah felt the heat radiate almost painfully before simmering away. Alaku blew away what lingered with a strong breath, scattering the grey dust to the cave floor.

“What the…" The human's eyes blinked and focused at the final result. A completed pattern fully emerged on his skin akin to a tattoo. It resembled the armband's original design perfectly. However, a small wolf's head had appeared right above where the armband twisted together.

“It is a special pattern and symbol." Alaku mentioned. “It's my own personal marking."

“It looks… strange." Hotah didn't know what to make of the pattern. He felt his skin but the lines were permanent and didn't wipe away.

“You do look more handsome now, especially without those clothes you wear." She complimented the human, and let her eyes roam over his naked body. Hotah was taken aback by her words but noticed her gaze travel low more than once. Alaku licked her lips and fully faced him.

“Although, I wish you had more fur around there." Her icy blue eyes plainly looked below his waist. Hotah felt his face lightly blush a shade of red.

“Alaku…" He didn't know what to make of her suddenly playful luseful nature.

“Think you can top me?" She challenged. “If you can't satisfy me then I'll have you on your back crying out for mercy." The werewolf licked her fangs. Her almost lovely threat chilled him. Making love to a forest god such as herself felt intimidating to say the least.

“I uh… um." He stuttered as Alaku placed a hand on his knee. Hotah leaned back as she crept forward, hovering over much of his lower body. He scurried backwards and jumped to his feet as her blue eyes gazed at him like a predator. A tinge of fear mixed with excitement in his heart at what she wanted; but he didn't want to cave in to her.

“Stay back." He warned.

“Where has your boastful pride gone now?" She challenged him and slowly rose to her digitigrade paws. He took a step back with every step she took towards him. Hotah bumped into the cave wall and realized he had no room left to retreat. Alaku did not give him an opening and immediately closed the gap between them.

“I…" Hotah's voice faded as his heart thundered within his chest. Knowing that he wasn't going anywhere, the wolf took a slow step towards him.

“Back off!" Hotah raised his arm and started to swat at the wolf only to feel a powerful tug on his arm, just under his shoulder. It happened very fast, but he caught sight of a rope vanishing from his arm where the new marking had formed.

“Seems like the magic is already able to work a little, but a full day will need to pass before it has a full effect." She noted in a pleased voice. Hotah gripped the wall behind him as the wolf crouched down before him. She placed her hands on his tense legs in a surprisingly gentle touch. Her nose leaned dangerously close to his groin, causing him to suck in his breath fearfully. Alaku took a pair of deep inhales and exhales, letting him feel her strong heated breath wash over his naked skin.

“Ah, you haven't mated with another human. Saving yourself for me, are you?" She looked up into his eyes with a content grin.

“What? No! I'm not saving anything for you." He suddenly felt flustered. His face burned an embarrassing red as her damp nose brushed through his curly hair. Another delightful chill ran up his body as her nose 'accidentally' brushed over soft skin.

“I think you are…" She lustily growled without backing off. Goosebumps formed on Hotah's skin as her black nose brushed over his manhood, blowing hot breaths over his sensitive skin.

“S-stop Alaku!" He attempted to push her head away only to feel a large smooth tongue gently wash over his dangling manhood. His head snapped back as he gasped feeling pleasure rocket through him. Only preceded by the heat of her breath, the slick warmth bathed his flesh again causing it to stir. Arousal shot through his body like lightning as she delivered more tender licks to his sack and growing length.

Hotah writhed in the start of a blissful agony. Despite all of the power Alaku possessed, the wolf god's hands kept a very gentle yet firm hold of his waist. Her sturdy black claws didn't even prick his bare skin, but he wasn't going to slip away from her. Hotah breathed heavily as her licks had the desired effect. The human felt it without even looking, but once he was throbbing erect, she paused and parted her jaws. Hotah's eyes widened as he tried wiggling his hips free, but only succeeded in tapping her nose with his member. Alaku laughed before harmlessly grazing her teeth over his throbbing flesh.

The human froze and watched his whole length disappeared into the steamy jaws of her mouth. Her teeth snugly touched the top of his base, but he was completely unprepared for the wolf's tongue to lap his entire underside. His heart nearly leapt out of his body from the sheer amount of pleasure that Alaku was giving him. He gave one last effort to push her head back, but how much of a fight could he put up when his manhood was inside her jowls? Hotah devolved into heartful moans and began petting her head and rubbing her ears with intimate fervor. It was much better than getting on her nerves, or the wrong end of her sharp teeth.

“Ughhh." He grunted as her long tongue slipped out and lapped his balls once again. The warmth washing over his twin orbs brought delightful chills up his spine. It was almost as if she was coaxing them to release all of his pent up seed for her. Her wicked tongue could drive him completely insane. His hips writhed and bucked against her muzzle despite the wolf's teeth grazing his sensitive flesh. His ears only heard the thundering of his heart and the slick wet sound of her tongue lapping his hard flesh.

“Oh god Alaku!" He cried out as the pleasure built up too quickly for him to handle. Without much warning, he came into her powerful jowls, but Alaku pleasured him through every throbbing spurt until there was nothing left. His body throbbed in bliss. Dizziness afflicted the human through his blinding pleasure. He slowly slid down to the cave floor with her help, completely exhausted. She knelt down, placed her hands on his shoulders, and gently rubbed him.

“I can't say you lasted longer than the first time." She softly teased. “You'll last much longer with practice." He nervously swallowed and looked into Alaku's icy blue gaze, but her eyes had a cooling softness at the moment. The wolf had a pretty face when she wasn't scowling at him.

“You don't have to feel nervous when we're both naked."

“It's hard not to."

“I hope to change that." She whispered. Hotah blinked as her head leaned closer. Her tongue didn't wash over him, but her fuzzy lips gently pressed against his mouth. The heat and warmth felt pleasant. However, she gave him a soft lick on the lips. It was a soft canine kiss. He placed his hands on her shoulders in return, but didn't push her away. Her fur felt nice to touch in his afterglow, and he couldn't deny how attractive the softness was.

“I wish you'd give me a warning… when you jump me… or when you do his to me…" Hotah told her. The wolf god chuckled a little.

“Now where'd the fun in that be?"

“You wouldn't scare me so much."

“Why should a hunter as proud as yourself be afraid of a wolf like me?" She playfully answered and nibbled his chin. Hotah didn't have the energy to come back with a retort of his own.

“Why do any of this?" Hotah asked.

“Need I remind you of our promise?" She asked.

“Yes!" His voice rose out of spite. The wolf only grinned at his request.

“Very well… You broke the old vow between your village and this forest that had been in place for nearly two centuries." She recounted. “You being the proud hunter couldn't let your catch escape towards the ancient forest and mountains, so you pursued and crossed the boundary that had been established. I intervened…" Alaku said in a low voice before resuming.

“You are to come here when I ask, or else I will attack your village like I once did long ago." She concluded. Hotah didn't say anything as she recounted his dilemma. “Don't tell me you still regret crossing the boundary to the ancient highland forest."

“No." He immediately answered only to pause. Alaku's ears perked up in surprise. Hotah was surprised as well.

“I don't know why I said that so fast." He briefly frowned. It could have simply been his pride, but what if it wasn't? The human wasn't sure if he was her guest, captive, or lover at any given moment. The icy blue eyes staring at him smiled.

“I think I know why you did." One of her hands shifted away from his shoulder. Hotah breathed deeply as a warm leathery palm padded hand coddled his cheek. She leaned closer again, but lower this time. Her damp nose brushed over his throat, and he soon felt a warm smooth tongue glide over his unprotected skin. It wasn't as aggressive or rough as when she had pounced onto him earlier in the day. It felt far more intimate now than intimidating. It was soft and sweet, and nearly drew the breath from his body.

“Alaku…" Hotah's hands drew up and disappeared into the thick fur of her mane. Her eyes never left his own as she licked under his jaw next. His heart felt like it was fluttering for once, as if he had caught sight of a beautiful naked maiden after taking a bath. The human simply held her as she held and licked him. Truthfully, he didn't want her to stop. Her tongue washed over his lips as they parted before she unexpectedly broke away.

“It has been a long day, and I will need you to do other things tomorrow." She noted. “Let's get some sleep."

“Thanks." Seeing an opportunity to rest, Hotah made no complaints. His feelings were mixed, and he wasn't sure what to make of his situation at the moment. Alaku helped him to his feet and walked with him around the fire pit without letting her arms leave his side.

“Lay down wherever you like." She encouraged him. Hotah nearly flopped onto them, much to her amusement, and was surprised at how soft they felt to the touch against his naked body.

“I'm exhausted…" He rolled onto his back and closed his eyes. There was a subtle noise as the wolf god laid down beside him. He felt body heat and soft fur press against his side as Alaku nuzzled up to him. The wolf wasn't shy about it either. A small breast was even resting on his chest. A part of Hotah wanted to stay awake and keep an eye on Alaku, but for the first time he trusted the wolf enough to sleep snuggled up to her so intimately.

The soft pops and little crackles from the fire were pleasant to listen to. The distant sounds of nighttime crickets beginning to chirp signaled the slow close of the evening to nighttime. All of the cozy touches, warmth, and peaceful noises quickly lulled him to sleep. Alaku propped herself up onto an elbow once he had fallen asleep.

'I wonder if he will learn his lesson about the dangers of his unwavering pride.' The wolf god looked him over and thought to herself. Hotah was skilled and confident like any hunter, but in her eyes the human possessed a brashness and that would inevitably lead to foolish mistakes. Her blue eyes gazed at him for the longest moment, deep in thought.

'You sort of remind me of my mate from long ago.' Alaku thought to herself, and reminisced about a few old memories of her own. She didn't want to admit that to him yet. The wolf's sensitive ears swiveled and heard the more distant sounds of the forest that his human ears couldn't detect. All was normal though as nighttime gradually approached. Alaku laid back down and rested her head atop the human's chest. She felt his heart calmly beating beneath her and grinned.

'Sleep well human. I will have to begin training and teaching you tomorrow…' The wolf had plenty of others troubles to dwell on, but they were beyond his concern or understanding. For now, they'd sleep together, until the sun rose.
