Casey settled down in front of her text on her little camping chair, the comfortable fabric cupping her body nicely. It was one of the more expensive ones on the market but she made more than enough use of it, even though she was only heading out into the woods behind her property more often than not. It was just good, at least for her, to get away from technology, even leaving her emergency phone inside the tent, there if she needed it but otherwise far enough away that she didn’t instantly feel like she had to check social media.
Her pale skin stood out with the nightdress that she was wearing, sure that no one was going to find her out there, the black cat silhouette splashed across it hardly subtle in the slightest. There was even a waning moon on it too, just like the one hanging in the sky about her favourite forested clearing, which she so often used for camping.
“Mmmm…”
That was all that Casey had wanted to do: just to relax beneath the stars, the wind very gently swaying the tops of the trees. Yet what Casey didn’t know, as she dreamed, was that she had caught the attention of a certain fairy that lived in the woods.
The fairy didn’t have a name in the human tongue – so, for those that she shared a name with which they could pronounce, she was Arabella, though nothing was charming about her. She might have been small and delicate, standing roughly four feet tall with glowing, golden wings, but Arabella was not a fairy to be trifled with. Her face was sharply angled with an ethereal kind of beauty.
She had created that face for herself, she’d have anyone know. Transformations, even on her own body, were simply what Arabella was good at. Yet she did so prefer a victim to transform…
And she had the perfect prey, flitting back and forth, hiding behind a bush – though Arabella would not have to hide for all that much longer. No… Her human target had no idea that she was there, pouring a glass of one of those alcoholic beverages that humans seemed to be so infatuated with and sipping from it with a sigh.
Arabella shuddered. Ugh! She was altogether too content!
“So, now you shall show your true spots…”
Arabella grinned, blonde hair wafting back from her shoulders as she raised her hands, glittering sparks in red and orange leaping from them. Her magic streaked for Casey and sank into her, the woman jolting forward with a yelp.
“Ow! What the hell!”
Yet no sooner had the magical sparks, leaping from the fairy’s fingers to her body, blistered through her bloodstream than the change began.
“Oh… What the…”
Casey stood up tall, pushing her chest up and out, arching her back. That was strange, very strange, but…no… She wasn’t herself. Not at all, not as she groaned and hunched forward again, inverting her position, groaning deep in the back of her throat.
There was something wrong, something very wrong. All as she moaned and twisted, leaning on her camp chair and then knocking it over as she fell to the ground. Her lungs heaved, straining, gulping, craving air, so much air. Yet it felt like they were expanding too, bulging within the cavern of her chest and forcing her ribs to crack and stretch, her body swelling as her organs forced the rest of her to accommodate them.
“Nnnngghhhh… Mmph…”
She didn’t know what to do, what to say, though no words fell from her lips, however, as she panted heavily, tongue swiping out across her lower lip. Her body prickled, but she didn’t see the fur growing all over her, spreading from her chest down her stomach and wrapping around to her back, not when her spine was creaking and stretching further and further out.
“Unff…”
There was pain, a sharp crack of vertebrae crunching as they were added to, her head spinning. What was happening to her? What was wrong? She grunted, shaking her head, but found that her head struggled to move in the same way as before, face bulging out grotesquely, her cheeks feeling as if she had stuffed them full.
“Ooooohhhh…”
Still… There was something there. She moaned, letting her lips part, feeling the flutter of her tongue within, how it flattened and almost curled, flicking back and forth. Her jaws ached, so very badly, teeth narrowing, becoming increasingly pointed. She flicked her tongue awkwardly around – but it was not the tongue that she had had for all her life before, no. It was different.
She… Her body… She was changing!
Ecstasy shot through her and she groaned openly, rocking her hips, panting, heaving, grunting. Oh, that was good – that was so much more than simply good! It was as if every last one of her softest, deepest dreams, her fantasies, were coming true, even though Casey didn’t even know what she was turning into.
Maybe she’d hit her head, maybe something terrible had happened. But it wouldn’t have mattered to Casey, no, not at all. Not when her heart surged and her body stretched back, filling out the fresh space allowed for her midsection and hind end.
“Oof… Mrow…”
Her eyes shifted a little, though remained forward-facing, ears travelling up as they rounded and she finally realised that there was a yellowish fur covering her, itching as it prickled and thickened up a little bit. She looked down, rearing back on her knees even as the bones there went funny and thin and wobbly, forcing her to sway. Her belly… It was not yellow but soft, kind of, her fingers running through it even as they shortened, stubby and useless – yet Casey would never again need to use them as hands.
The life that had so stressed her out before… She was going to have so much more than that!
She didn’t know what kind of creature she was transforming into, though there was something about it that felt vaguely familiar, comforting too. She panted heavily, tongue flicking out, her nose flattening, nostrils turning into slits, her nose moist as if that would better help her sift through scents. And there were so many of them too, making her inhale shortly and sharply in puffs of breath, trying to make sense of the peaty forest floor, the moss that layered the roots of age-old trees, even the crisp freshness of the creek that ran only a short distance away.
“You are a strange one…”
She looked up, kicking her legs out behind her, for her knees no longer seemed to want to bend in that direction anymore. Pushing up awkwardly onto her toes, she shifted her weight, one hip hiked up higher than the other. Her nightdress pulled awkwardly, growing tighter and tighter around her chest and shoulders, the shifting position of her arms forcing it to hike up, rumpled and rolling up her belly, practically all the way to her chest.
Yet she still was not all that concerned about what little modesty she had had before, her underwear rolling down over her backside, exposing the growing stub of a little, nubby tail sprouting from the base of her spine. Not as a fairy fluttered before her, peering at her curiously.
“I didn’t think you’d start moaning like that,” the fairy said, airborne, easily keeping herself aloft with her little wings. “You… Hm. So, some humans like being transformed. Are you a cat lover?”
Casey didn’t have the presence of mind to moan or nod her head, only to twist in ecstasy as the flowing, awkward, uncomfortable changes drew taut in her body. Her back end smoothed out, losing the flesh of her backside, though her glutes would be more functional, yes, as her lips parted in a black-lipped feline smile.
For she had finally worked out just what she was transforming into, even as she tried to growl and thank the fairy for doing it to her, her throat tight. She had not yet realised that she had lost the ability to communicate as a human being, that big cats like the leopard that she was turning into. She finally recognised the black spots that were littering her body, darkening all over her, though she so very desperately wished that she had a mirror or something else reflective nearby to look at herself in.
She’d rather take in her full form, as she tried to stand more comfortably on all fours, her tail lashing and aching as the bones cracked and crunched. The fur tickled so badly and yet she craved it all the same, even her sex… That would never be the same again, would it? It felt as if the folds of her sex had smoothed down and softened a little more, the edges furred and fluffy, though it felt better like that, as if the heat of her truest desires was stretching up inside her body, deeper than even her fingers could have gone.
It was more comfortable on all fours as she cast what she hoped, kind of, was a delighted look at the fairy, licking her lips, wobbling on all fours. It was so hard to balance like that! But she was more than willing to deal with any measure of discomfort like that, as long as she got to live out the rest of her life and her days as a leopard, a beautiful, strong, explosive leopard.
“Nnggghhh…”
The groan was one sound that she could get out as her tail swung back and forth, awkwardly at first and then a little more smoothly, letting it curl a little at the tip. Maybe her ability to control that would come in time, for Casey so sorely hoped that she would have plenty of time to enjoy her form, how the muscles coiled and stretched, how she could arch her back, her shoulders set down a little more than before, her neck a little longer too, blending down with the smooth bone of her chest.
Her small breasts had become furred, though she twisted, grabbing at her nightdress with her fingers as it tightened around her. Her nails curled into claws, hooking lightly, and she dug them into the nightdress, trying to show herself in all her glory, even as the fairy shook her head.
“Well, I’ll be…”
It was a sound of amazement, though the leopard-woman didn’t even care. She was a cat – a real leopard! On all fours, she tried to shake herself off, even as the tattered shreds of her nightdress, even though it had been a favourite, hung around her. Her breasts softened and smoothed out completely, though they had not been visible anyway, her nipples no longer there but migrating down her body. Neatly, subtly, they prickled into life on her belly, where leopard cubs could have suckled – if that had ever been the case. The pull and prick of them had her squeaking, twisting, a strangled yowl dragging itself from her lips.
Taking that camping trip had been the best decision that Casey had ever made, stretching out carefully as, finally, her fingers and toes became cat toes, the claws pushing out and pulling back in. She could retract them at will, yet there was so much about being a leopard that she did not even know about, though that would all come in time.
Without the concerns of being a human, a woman with a life and a job and too many things to pull at her attention, she didn’t have to do anything other than be in the moment anymore. She purred, rolling her shoulders, checking out her body, the long, smooth lines of it, the black tip of her tail. Everything was perfect, exactly the way that it needed to be.
A leopard may never have changed their spots, as the saying went, though she didn’t need to change anything. She was perfect already, even if another change and another transformation, well…
She bared her teeth in a feline grin, turning to the fairy, who fluttered just out of reach.
Did the fairy, maybe, have any more transformations for her?
