To Catch and Keep a Chimera
Author's Note: This here story was done on request by a DecafJava. I am always accepting requests. I love the attention! However, a few notes; I don't do bestiality, or M/M. Anything else is go! By the way, don't worry; Neither Jack nor Sasha nor Robert nor Sally nor Falin have been forgotten. They're just waiting in the wings. Hopefully, my next upload will be part two of So A Husky Walks Into A Bar. Enjoy!
Darryl blinked sleepily, his thoughts slowly coming together from behind the velvet curtain of sleep. After a moment, he sat up in bed, kneading the sleep from his eyes, and listening to the chirping of birds outside his window. Blearily, he shoved the furs aside and stepped out of bed, stretching widely. It was only after he did so that he remembered what today was. All remnants of somnolence were swept away at once as he thought _"Today I am a man!"
_ And indeed he was. As Darryl tore around the room, getting himself dressed properly, he reflected on his twenty winters in the town of Daix, otherwise known as the City of Beasts. After his garb was properly arrayed, Darryl composed himself, and entered into the main room of the Lorrar household. His father, the Duke of Hassard (If you get that, have two internet cookies) looked up from his chair, and his worn, bearded face was split by a wide grin. Rising from his seat, he lifted his arms wide. "Ah, if it isn't just the man I wanted to see!"
Darryl embraced his father, and said "It warms my heart to finally hear that from you, father."
The Duke took a step backward, and folded his arms. "So, the time has finally come for you to choose a vocation. I trust you've given good thought to it?"
Darryl drew himself up to his full height. "I have, father. Shall we enter it into the Kingdom Keep?"
The Duke's eyes glinted. "All in good time, my dear boy, but don't you think you have someone to say goodbye to first?"
Darryl caught movement out of the corner of his eye, and saw his mother enter the hall from the salon. When she saw him, her eyes clouded with tears and she rushed to embrace him. She sobbed "Oh, my darling boy, you can't leave! It's much too soon! I'll have your father talk to the King, surely the rules can be bent just this once, I'm sure..."
Darryl cut her off. "Mother, please. It's fine! After all, everyone must find their way in the world sometime; no sense waiting until more winters have frosted my hair."
The Duke led the Duchess away with a consoling arm. "Now, dear, the boy must choose his own path in life. Besides, I know he'll do fine." He looked back at Darryl, and winked. "After all, a Lorrar never fails!"
Darryl put his hand over his heart, and recited their family motto in Deucues. "Et Lorrar nie~ve na susseden."
After his weeping mother was consoled, the Duke and Darryl exited the manor, and began winding their way to the center of town, where Daix's Kingdom Keep rested, and with it all the details about every resident, transaction, and criminal case, that had ever taken place there. On their way, they passed through the beast-keeper's district. All the beasts of magic and nature brought back by the Hunters started their journey here. Dryads peeped out from their transplanted trees, imps and goblins clattered at their cages, and a wyvern stretched sleepily against its enclosure. In the distance, Darryl heard the roars of dragons, and his pulse quickened. After making their way through the district, as well as the gauntlet of well-wishers, sycophants, and detractors, Darryl and the Duke entered into the Kingdom Keep's sanctum. The appointed guardians and caretakers of the huge book all looked up and saluted when they saw the Duke.
The Duke waved them off, and said "Belay your buttock-kissing, lads. My son is merely here to record his vocation in the Kingdom Keep."
One of Darryl's best friends, Dale Wyneck, looked up from his stack of scrolls. He hastened forward to shake Darryl's hand, using his other hand to adjust the huge unwieldy spectacles he wore. He said "Darryl! Good to see you. I put in a bookmark for your section just this morning, this won't take a minute. If you and your father would just come this way..."
Dale lead the pair through dark, bronze-walled corridors, and warned them about pipes likely to emit bursts of scalding steam. After a minute, they emerged into a cavernous space. Lit by a thousand flameless lanterns, the Kingdom Keep occupied a volume of space that would easily accommodate a castle, surrounding farm and all. Scribes whizzed around its current page in steam-propelled carts, that extended from the walls on spindly legs. Dale blew a huge whistle he wore around his neck and yelled "Bookmark 22-3B!" The steam-carts withdrew sharpish, and when everyone was clear, huge mechanisms began to turn the metal-skin page. One, two, three, four pages crashed with thunderous reports before Dale was satisfied. He led the pair out to a steam-cart with an odd apparatus on the bottom, and pulled a few levers and switches.
The cart extended from the wall, out, out towards the center of the right page. It came jerkily to a halt, and Dale made some micro adjustments, adjusting a sighting device next to Darryl's name. Darryl marveled at his entry. Everything about his life, recorded in foot-high letters on this massive book. Dale put the device right next to the blank space preceded by the word 'Vocation', and stopped. Unfolding a device from the floor, he flicked a switch. The contraption on the bottom of the cart unfolded, and a giant stylus of sorts heated to a cherry red. Dale stood back from the device, which turned out to be a character board. He said "Alright, Darryl, it's all yours. It's tradition for the person themselves to do the entry, so just spell it out on here, and the machine will do the rest."
Darryl stepped up the board, and cracked his knuckles. With practiced hands, he tapped out a few characters, thought for a second, finished typing, and hit the big red button. The stylus shot forward and seared the metal-skin 'paper'. Propelled by a complex array of gears and mechanisms, it etched a foot-high 'H' on the page. It continued searing, spelling out the occupation Darryl had chosen. The Duke watched with consternation, as the machine spelled out first a 'U', then a 'N'. He began to feel concerned when it etched a 'T' and an 'E'. His draw dropped open in shock, when the machine etched an 'R', and folded back onto the cart. Next to Darryl's occupation, in still-smoking letters, read "HUNTER".
Dale blinked, and shoved his spectacles back up his nose. "Eh... Darryl, did you do that on purpose?"
Darryl folded his arms. "I most certainly did."
The Duke exploded. "You meant to write that?! Darryl, don't you know? Being a Hunter is the most dangerous job in the entire kingdom! Not even soldiers have a death rate that high! Look, I'll use some pull with the King, I'll have this burned out, and you can choose something..."
Darryl stopped him. "Father, this is what I want to be. I want to bring back dangerous creatures for the glory of King and country. I want to ride across the land with beasts in tow. I want to bring back great creatures of war, huge domestic animals, exotic animals the world has never seen! In fact..." Darryl smiled. "I want to bring back a chimera."
The Duke nearly had a stroke. "A chimera? A CHIMERA?! Are you mad? Not even the King's Hand dares try to tame them!"
Darryl looked past him, past Dale, even past the Kingdom Keep. "I'm not afraid, Father. Et Lorrar, right?"
By that afternoon, Darryl had been transformed. Gone was the brown tunic and wooden sandals. Before the Duke stood a Hunter clad in burnished dragon-scale armor. Darryl wore the obscenely light and strong armor well, and wore on his head a helm that resembled a dragon's maw. He wore on his side a sunstone broadsword, the gleaming metal anathema to nature magic. On his back he bore a bow of dryad wood strung with ungotho silk, and a quiver of shadow darts, projectiles invisible in light, and without sound in flight. The Duke had spared no expense in his son's equipment, and even now Darryl flipped through the Master's Edition Bestiary: A Guide To All Beasts Found In Nature And Magic, a hefty tome that required two hands to read properly.
For the last time, the Duke pleaded "My son, is this truly the path you wish to tread? There is only so much my money can do, and I know you are a warrior of great caliber, but a chimera, son?"
Darryl snapped the book shut, and said "Yes, father. No one has tamed a chimera in over a thousand years, when King Kell rode ascendant on one. I shall bring honor to the Lorrar family name, and..." He smirked. "Who knows? I just might be the next Chimera King."
The Duke looked over his shoulder at Lorrar Manor, shining in the sun. "I still haven't told your mother yet."
Darryl smiled, and gripped his father's shoulder. "That, dear father, is your battle."
And with that, he turned, and mounted his steed. The Duke called out to him one last time. "His saddlebags are filled with all the supplies you could need. Godspeed, son, and good luck!"
With a whoop, Darryl spurred Wraith into the fading sun, making for Horizon Mountains, possibly the only place to find a chimera in all the land. He rode for a month, and the huge mountains grew taller and taller, until finally the road began to slope upwards. He ascended into the forest that coated the Mountains lower reaches, and as Wraith clopped along, he re-read the entry on Chimeras in his book.
"Chimeras are slippery beasts even at the best of times," he mumbled, "and at the worst times, are death from above. In appearance, a chimera is a creature with large, leathery wings, brownish skin, and for reasons unspecified possesses reproductive organs eerily similar to humans, although on an expanded scale. A chimera is much smaller than a dragon, although larger than a wyvern. However, chimeras are much stronger than either of the two species, and to cap it off, have a connection with magic that borders on totality. Creatures steeped so thoroughly in magic are usually very cunning, and chimeras are no exception. Unusually clever, chimeras can evade most every snare known to humankind, and are simply impossible to defeat in one-on-one combat. Therefore, one must use the unorthodox. To catch a chimera, you must first recognize the signs of their territory."
Darryl looked around at his surroundings, and clucked. Looking back at his book, he read "Chimeras will often leave trees chewed down to a gnawed pole as a warning to others. These poles will then be sprayed with musk as additional signage."
Darryl looked around for a few minutes, and then his sharp eyes caught sight of a chewed tree. Dismounting Wraith, he trotted up to it, gulped, and sniffed it lightly. Instead of being disgusting, the scent of chimera was... Strangely appealing. Like exotic spices and warm skin. Darryl stood back, and muttered "Check," to himself, and walked back to Wraith. Remounting, he continued reading. "Another sign of a chimera near are reinforced game trails open to the sky. A crafty chimera will often deforest an area strategically, and line it with tree trunks to provide prey animals safe passage. Then, whenever it wishes, it can swoop in and have a meal. These places are excellent if you wish to set traps."
Darryl closed the book, and dismounted Wraith. He began to set up camp; in the waning light of the dying sun, the mountain air was becoming chilly. After he had a roaring fire ready, he strung his bow to hunt for game. He tiptoed through the woods, looking for any sign of movement. After a while, he heard hooves, and began to creep in that direction. However, instead of encountering dinner, he found a wall of logs. His heart quickened as he recognized the work of a chimera. He peeked through a notch in the makeshift barrier, and saw a herd of deer meandering by. He was suddenly struck by inspiration; both on how to get dinner, and how to catch his prey. He sprinted on silent legs forward along the line of trees.
When he got to a point he judged far enough, he got out his hunting knife, and began to saw at one of the topmost logs. Within minutes, he had managed to dismantle the wall, and turn it, so the trail dead-ended. Racing back the other way, passing the slow-moving herd, he did the same thing. The deer were now trapped, with no escape. He took a few with his bow, and paid no mind to the stampede. They had nowhere to go. He cooked the deer, and ate his fill. Shoving aside the remains as bait for his prey, he was about to go to sleep for the night when he heard a faint hissing over his right shoulder. He whirled from his bedding, drawing his sword. In the tree above him, a bunch of black... Somethings squealed and withdrew from its lethal glare. Darryl squinted for a closer look, and then started flipping through the Bestiary. He found their entry quickly. "Ungotho spiders," he read. "Unusually peaceful creatures, ungothos will not attack anything larger than themselves. However, do not become entangled in one of their webs. Their silk is a material as strong as steel, but extremely light. They will consume anything caught in their nets. However, if a net is destroyed (via anti-nature sorcery or fire) they will immediately begin to spin a new one. A crafty adventurer can use this instinct to their advantage, as the spiders can be lured to a spot of a Hunter's choosing, and persuaded to spin there."
As his eyes searched the page, a smile grew on Darryl's face. He unlimbered his sword once more, and stared up into the tree. "Hello, lovelies. Care to lend a hand?"
The next morning dawned bright and sunny. As the sun crested a small outcropping above the tree line, a tan shape launched itself into the air, unfolding large wings and soaring along the mountain. The chimera enjoyed itself for a moment, before soaring down the mountain to look for food. Its sharp eyes spotted its game trail, blocked off, with a large herd of deer milling in it. Pleased by this happenstance, and noting the trick for further reference, the chimera folded its wings, and dived with a shriek born of tortured air rather than vocal cords. It slowed its descent just so that it would snap up a deer and lift off again, and began to approach for the kill. It flapped closer, closer... And then stopped.
Darryl cheered. In the morning light, the web of the ungotho spiders had been all but invisible. He hopped onto the strands with surprising speed, and balanced along the web. He began to walk cautiously towards the bound chimera. He knelt next to it, and almost lost his balance. In order to steady himself, he put out a hand to grasp the chimera's flank. As he did so, he froze, as if electrified. Something was flowing from the chimera through the connection of his hand. It was... Thoughts? Darryl understood with a shock that he was hearing and seeing what the chimera was thinking. No words; apparently the chimera didn't think in words. However, he saw images, heard sounds, and caught general concepts, emotions, if you will. He could see himself from its point of view, grasping onto it to keep from falling off the web. He heard the angry chittering of the ungothos as they were denied their meal. And he felt from the chimera a strange sense of... Calm. The chimera was utterly calm.
He patted the beast's flank and said "That's the idea, lad. I'm not here to hurt you. After all, a magnificent specimen like you is not something to be wasted." He was stopped by an odd sound. He heard what sounded like a wire of steel being struck with an iron hammer; a high, shrieking sound. It faded, and he pushed it out of his mind. From the chimera, he saw an image of himself, walking up the mountain. The point of view shifted, following the road backwards, into grey fuzz. Darryl understood. "Ah, you want to know where I come from. Easy enough. I come from... Wait, you don't even understand me, do you?"
He saw another vision. In it, he was talking to the chimera, and a long string of visible words were pouring out of his mouth. It slid into the chimera's head, where he guessed the ears were. The string just went right through the head, and fell in a jumbled heap on the ground. Then, a series of pictures flowed up from the chimera into his arm and into his head. After that, his avatar closed his eyes, and pictures floated from his head into his arm, into the chimera. He got the message, and sent images of Daix through the connection. The city, the beast district, his manor, and the Kingdom Keep. His concentration was broken when he heard the high, grating sound again. He looked around in confusion. Dismissing it uncertainly, he then received another vision from the chimera.
It showed the events that had led up to this moment, and then paused at the current moment. The unspoken question was What now? Darryl thought for a moment, and then sent back his vision; it showed him spiraling to the town square of Daix on the back of the chimera, and all the townsfolk gathering in awe. The view switched to a view of King Louwin knighting Darryl, and placing his blessing on the chimera. Finally, he showed himself resting in the throne room aboard the Apotheosis, wearing the crown of the kingdom of Tamar, while the chimera lounged on a pile of cushions in a corner of the room, surrounded by succulent meats and piles of gold.
Again that strange, rending noise split the air again, and Darryl snapped his head around in annoyance. "What IS that?!"
He was stopped by another visual image from the chimera. It showed the chimera breaking out of the web, and carrying a wailing Darryl away in its claws. Darryl laughed, and patted the beasts' flank. "A good dream, friend, but that's ungotho silk. Strong as steel, soft as cotton. Naught you can about..."
And once again, and for the final time, the screeching noise was heard again, and with a falling sensation in his stomach, Darryl realized what it was; the limbs of the chimera breaking free of the silk. The sly beast had split its bonds, and then held them together with its' prehensile hands and feet to hide its escape. The beast rose up in full splendor, and huge claws gripped around his chest. Darryl balefully realized that the creature had morphed from the hunted into the hunter.
Higher and higher the chimera soared, spiraling up the mountain. Darryl tried to reach his sword, but couldn't quite reach it. He looked forward, and saw that they were approaching an outcropping along the mountain, which he figured was the chimera's den. The chimera slowed its approach, and lightly deposited him on the lip of the cave, before settling further inside itself. Darryl drew his sword, and shifted into battle stance. "If you want a piece of me, then you'll have to take it."
The chimera did not attack, but merely shuffled around so it was lying on its stomach. From its position on the ground, it watched the Hunter. For a long while, Darryl held his pose. However, he started to tire, and began to wonder why he was still alive. He edged forward, taking baby steps, until he was within arm's reach of the chimera. He slowly sheathed his sword, and was about to touch the chimera when it snaked its head forward faster than he could see and touched its forehead to his.
Darryl almost screamed. Suddenly, he felt himself move outside his head, and saw himself from a thousand different angles. The perspective nightmare only lasted an instant, before Darryl's vision left him. He fell to his knees, and tried to draw his sword again, but couldn't make his hand work properly.
I am sorry. It was the only way to speak to you clearly.
Darryl twitched. Did he hear someone talking? No, he didn't. He thought he did.
Darryl closed his eyes and thought Hello?
Yes, I can hear you. Communicating by pictures is a poor way of connecting.
Darryl opened his eyes, and stared at the chimera, who was staring at him too. It had decided to sit like a human, folding its wings behind it. For the first time, he really studied it. The illustrations in the Bestiary really didn't do it justice. In fact, as he blushed, it certainly was not an 'it'. It was, most emphatically, a she. Despite the chimera being about five or six times as large as him, the obvious parallels between human and chimera anatomy had to be drawn. Her head was, oddly enough, strangely beautiful. It resembled a dragon's, slightly, with a long muzzle and slit nose, but instead of a frill around her neck or horns, the chimera had three crests on her head; one on the top, and two more next to the first. The crests moved slightly as he watched, stretching their membranes with a quiet, leathery sound. The chimera's eyes, unlike a dragon, were set like a human's, instead of either side of the head. Each globe was about twice the size of Darryl's fist, and glowed a deep, dark red. Her head was connected to her torso by way of a long neck, which the chimera leaned backwards so she wasn't invading Darryl's space. As Darryl's eyes followed the curve(s) of her body, he couldn't help but blush; the chimera was completely unclad, and a pair of very human looking breasts sat like succulent fruit on her chest. The chimera was only tan on her back, wings and tail; from the underside of her head to the base of her tail, she was a creamy white, almost eggshell. Her tail was curled around her legs, and the whip-like tip flicked spasmodically every few seconds.
The chimera then smiled. Darryl blinked, thinking that it had to be a mistake. But no, the ends of the chimera's mouth were undoubtedly curling up. She then turned her head so Darryl could see only the right side of her face, and smiled, showing her teeth.
You must like what you see...
Darryl frowned. He wondered if he had all his wits about him. He cautiously thought "Why did you bring me here? If you intend to eat me, why not get it over with?"
The chimera widened her eyes.
_ Eat you? Of course not! I'd have to chew through that armor, first, and besides, humans are nasty. Far too bony for my tastes. I brought you here for a little company. I haven't had a real conversation in ages, and I use the term literally._
Darryl lowered his sword, and frowned. "You wanted... Company?"
_ Of course. You're the first human foolhardy enough to venture out here in years, and of course, it helps that you're male._
Darryl twitched. The chimera smirked, and snaked her head towards him a little.
Ooh, what was that image that flicked through your head just then? Naughty little monkey, aren't you?
Darryl was puzzled. "You are an exceedingly strange beast. You're obviously very intelligent, but your mannerisms are odd, even for an animal."
The chimera got off her haunches, and approached him on all fours. She brushed along Darryl's side, rubbing all her length upon him up to the tip of her tail, which she flicked across his face. Darryl was hit with the smell of her, the scent that he'd smelt before on the tree, but stronger now, far stronger.
Oh, please... You call me animal, but I can see inside your head. Needs, desires, taboos, fantasies... They are plain to me. And I think I like them.
The chimera brushed past him, and curled up against the wall, scooting her back up against the wall and stretching languorously. Darryl felt an odd sensation in his head, and adjusted his armor, which suddenly felt tight. He thought "Do you have a name, my lady?"
The chimera stared at him with renewed interest, and rubbed her snout along a rocky outcropping.
Ah, now there's some much-needed respect. I am called Sylvain, my knight in dragon's armor. And I can see yours. Darryl Lorrar, son of Azail Lorrar, Duke of Hassard, and 23rd in line to the throne. I can see what you set out to accomplish, and why you did so. Noble reasons, and great ambition are a heady combination. So, what are you waiting for? Catch this chimera.
Sylvain craned her neck back and laid her head back against the corner wall. Darryl was starting to catch her drift, but plowed doggedly onward anyway. "Very well then... Lady Sylvain, why don't you tell me what you really want?"
Sylvain snorted and propped herself up on one arm.
Heavens, man, if I couldn't see your mental wheels turning I'd think you were dense. Maybe this will make it clear.
She reached down with her other arm and wafted the air near her towards Darryl. As it hit his nose, he was assailed by the scent he had smelled earlier, but deeper, and with hints of something he couldn't quite place. As the sensory images hit his brain, he caught several split second visions; Sylvain lying with a male chimera... A clutch of eggs... A bunch of smaller chimeras clustered around Sylvain.
Darryl understood fully now, and swallowed. Why on earth was that smell making his armor feel smaller? "You're ovulating," he thought.
At last, the light dawns. You were partly right, before... I am hungry, very hungry, and I do want you inside me, but not like that.
Darryl's sword trailed on the ground, all but forgotten in his hand. "Um... My lady, a beast as fine as you is a rare prize, and I would love to accommodate you, but... The peg is quite a lot smaller than the hole, as the case may be."
Sylvain's eyes glowed brighter.
Mmm, that didn't take long, now did it? That won't be a problem, my knight. Just... Disrobe for me.
With shaking hands, Darryl moved to obey her. First, he undid his belt and chest strap, letting his sword, bow, and quiver fall to the floor. Sylvain licked her lips.
Oh, my knight, not so fast. Savor it.
Darryl blushed, and slowly undid the straps that held his helmet on. He pulled it from his head, and shook his long brown hair. Sylvain flicked her tail.
I've always found a human's hair to be ridiculously attractive. I should say yours is no exception.
Darryl shucked his gauntlets from each hand, and unlatched his pauldrons, letting the pile of armor fall to the floor and leaving his arms bare. He kicked off his boots, and undid his greaves, pushing them away. Only his chest plate and codpiece remained. Almost sleepily he unbuckled his chest plate, and let it fall with a clang to the ground, exposing his hairless chest. Sylvain's eyes widened.
I thought humans were hairier there.
"Normally, we are, but King Louwin ordered us to do away with it. He claims it's undignified."
Sylvain flicked a claw.
Enough; resume.
Darryl removed the codpiece, and slid down the simple briefs that were all that remained of his clothing. He stood exposed before the chimera, his member erect and throbbing uncomfortably. Sylvain looked at it with unbridled lust. She beckoned.
Approach, my knight.
Darryl stepped forward humbly, with head bowed. When he got close enough to her, he was swept off his feet by her tail. Before he could hit the ground, the chimera reached out and grasped. She pressed him into her belly, and hummed deep in her throat, a sound that shook her entire body. Darryl's entire field of vision shook, until she covered his entire head with an outstretched arm, and engulfed him in blackness. The humming got deeper, and deeper, and louder and louder. Then Darryl felt her skin start to slide against his, producing an odd rasping sound. His head started to feel fuzzy, and he began getting odd sensory impressions from his limbs.
Darryl lost himself in the blackness for a period of time that he could not name. He was shocked back to consciousness by the feeling of cold rock on his bare skin. His eyes snapped open, and he saw that dawn was rising on a new day. He whipped around to look at Sylvain. She looked... Smaller. He opened his mouth and said "Sylvain, what is happening here?"
He did not hear his sentence. What he heard was what sounded like a dragon growling. He cut off sharpish, and put a hand to his mouth. He jerked when something cool and sharp touched his face, and he drew his hand back. Only it wasn't his hand; it was a clawed paw, covered with incredibly tiny scales instead of skin. He reared back, and saw the cavern recede from him. He looked down, and saw the body of a chimera. He was looking down at it from an elevated perch; his new elongated neck. Somehow, while she had been humming, Sylvain had reshaped his body.
He looked at her in wonder. "How... How did you do this?"
Sylvain raised herself on two legs. She slunk over to him, and embraced him tightly.
I don't know. Magic. I could see into your mind, see that this is what you wanted, to be a creature of magic, to be soaked in it like we are. I'm sorry, but it's only temporary. The enchantment will fade at dusk tomorrow... Which leaves us all of today.
Darryl felt his heart fill with confidence, and his member with blood. He grasped her tightly, and forced his long tongue into her mouth, which received it gratefully. She took the lead then, and wriggled her tongue into his mouth, and then down his throat a little. Darryl almost gagged, but forced it down, and sent his own tongue down hers. She tickled the inside of his neck playfully, and then drew back. She forced him down on his knees, and then leaned against him, her breasts level to his face. She engulfed the two of them with her wings, and simply smiled.
Darryl needed no further encouragement. He curled his forked tongue around her right one, squeezing it gently, while he reached up with one hand to stroke the other. His other hand rose to between her legs, and lightly pressed there.
Sylvain gasped, and smiled lazily.
Mmm... A handsome chimera-knight with a talented tongue and fingers... I chose well.
Darryl didn't reply. He licked her breast all over, moistening it and her entrance beneath his dancing fingers. In a burst of inspiration, he withdrew his tongue, and bit down gently on her teat. She moaned as he started to suckle. He was only slightly surprised when he tasted a sweet liquid, and contented himself to enjoying it. He guzzled down her milk with reckless abandon, as she stood over him and moaned. When her right breast fell empty, she breathlessly took his head in both hands, and placed it on her left teat.
Drink it all, my knight. Oh, gods, drink me dry!
He was only too happy to comply, and growled lustily as he began to drink from her left breast. He sucked up all of the delicious milk she had, and when she was dry, he slowly removed his head and placed it in the hollow of her breasts. He smiled roguishly up at her, and thought "Did my lady enjoy that?"
She peered down at him through half-lidded eyes.
Ooh, my knight, she did indeed. But now, your lady wishes to become your beast again, and be treated as one.
Darryl caught her drift. "Very well then, my beautiful beast."
He gripped her with surprising strength, and spun her around. He grabbed her hips and pulled them towards his, while she squealed, and put her hands on the floor of the cave. She averted her tail, and wiggled her rear seductively, her passage dripping with natural lube. She craned her long neck around, and licked him all the way from his navel to his nose in one long caress. She turned her head back around, and inched her posterior a little higher.
Darryl entered unto her with savage intensity, regretting it almost immediately as Sylvain screamed, and blood began to trickle around his wilting member. She grunted, and thrusted against him
Nnh! Doesn't matter, keep going!
He heeded her words, and began to pound her from behind, sliding in and out with liquid ease. He was aided greatly by the clear fluids that had replaced the blood. They trickled along his draconic member, tingling on his head and shaft. He slid into her hard, like a sword into a sheath. Sylvain started screaming, panting lustily all the while. Darryl craned his neck around, and started to suckle on her once more even as they mated, causing her to spare a hand to grasp his head. Tentatively then, she reached her other hand there too. She was supported solely by Darryl's hands grasping her hips and by his thrusting meat. She pressed his head into her breasts with breathless lust, gasping for air as he hilted himself again and again, bumping against her cervix with every stroke.
In a whirlwind of sensation, Darryl caught a mental message from Sylvain. Not so much a coherent thought, but a feeling; she was close. He snarled in feral glee, and pumped harder, thrusting himself forward while pulling her backwards. Sylvain began to whine in increasingly higher pitch, but Darryl realized something a little unfortunate; he was going to cum before her.
With an animal roar, Darryl slammed into Sylvain one final time, and released his formidable contents into her. As Sylvain felt his hot, moist seed spurt into her womanly depths, she howled, and closed tight around it, milking him as he did her. For perhaps a minute Darryl pulsed into Sylvain, while she clenched around him and drew it all in. Finally, the two collapsed, asleep before they hit the ground.
When Darryl awoke, the first thing he saw was his pale human arms upon the hips of his once-again much larger lover. He was disappointed, but consoled himself; he had just made sweet, passionate love to a great creature of magic. He picked himself up off of her, and walked around to her front. He knelt, and reached under her head. With great effort, he lifted the massive cranium into his lap. Sylvain blinked awake sleepily, and smiled sweetly.
I see my magic's faded... It's just as well. I couldn't go another round.
She rolled over onto her stomach, and picked up Darryl. Snuggling him into her breasts, she began to hum again, but softer, not so shaking.
Do you want to hear some good news, my knight?
Darryl reached up and grasped a nipple bigger than his hand. "Your knight is all ears."
Sylvain's enormous paw delicately picked up his hand, and placed it lower on her body, over her womb.
I can feel them. Five tiny eggs, just getting started.
Darryl felt an odd fuzzy feeling in his chest. He stroked her abdomen, and smiled. "How lovely... Soon there shall be even more of your wondrous kind in the world."
_ Don't get too excited; we chimeras need over a year to gestate. With any luck, they'll look just like their father, the handsome bastard._
Darryl stroked her abdomen, visualizing the new life within. "So, my lady; what do you think of my offer? Fame, fortune, and favor? Be adored the kingdom over, meet the king himself, and who knows; perhaps one day, we shall sit in the throne room. Us and our children.
Sylvain curled up around him, holding him tightly as the light faded entirely.
I would love to, my knight. But tonight, we shall sleep. Fortune and fame can wait...
She grasped him a little tighter.
...But you shall always have my favor.
