The first chapter of a series! Asporyx, a near hermit-like green dragon, is suddenly thrust into his world and hit with the reality of it: in the wake of generations of Wars between the various colored Kyndoms of Dragons has left all the populations of dragons and the intelligent species who live alongside them (their Kyn) with deep divides. And while there is rumors of a unified Kyndom being born in the near future, first is the Prismarc Isle Program! Where Dragons (and eventually others) can actually learn about their fellow Kyndoms (and, well, bluntly: help with rebuilding populations!)

=====================================================

And here is the first chapter of the story series I had started originally! Inspired quite a bit by the Light Novel style and various stories I've read here as well. A lot more focus (probably too much) on making distinct characters and dialogue. As well as telling story from a 3rd person stand-point about a world with a different culture and evolution of knowledge and language. So, in particular, I've always hated 'dragoness' as a term, or '-ness' in general: Dragonesses are Drames in this. Also, as a consequence of the Light Novel inspirations, it is on the longer side and not pure smut: if you want that, you can search for "-=" to skip to where that scene starts, though you might not know the characters. I may have missed some tags, so let me know if you think there's one I should add! Edit: Sorry for the renotification; the next story won't be here until tomorrow or Sat. Just noticed a typo (honestly thought I'd changed a character's name and forgot to change it in the first chapter)

Chapter 1: Arrival and First Class

“Next!"

Asp entered the stall after unclasping his bag from his shoulder and examining the intricate metalwork that ran along the floor and up the sides of the wall. From what basic knowledge he had on the subject, it seemed to be some sort of scanning Rune Magic formula. The last dragon to be registered, only one of 36 dragons sent and accepted by the Prismarc Isles Program by the various Kyndoms, Asp had seen this process more than a few times already, albeit only from the side. After settling his talons against the spots that were indicated, which had his hinds spread a little more than was entirely comfortable for any length of time.

“State your name, kyndom, and classification!"

“Asporyx of the Green Kyndom. A Heavy Metallic Dark Green Specialist." He said idly; it was a fairly standard request upon entering a new settlement or kyndom. The classification system identified dragons by the weight of their color, whether they were metallic or not, the brightness of the color, and finally the color itself. Asporyx's own classification meant, essentially, announcing he was quite powerful in offensive plant magic. If he were Light, he'd be considered fairly weak magically, and if he didn't have to announce, he'd be average. And given it was based on sight, it was hard to lie. Non metallics were assumed to be physically stronger. Those with a lighter brightness were better at healing and support magic than Asp himself.

“Hatchday is just before the 1st Dormant Moon 15 BLE?" Incidentally, the older dame who was asking these questions was a Light Matte Pale Violet female dragon, or drame; she was likely used as a soother who could empathically tell if he was lying. This was something Asp was used to: he was often mistaken for a Dark Shade Drake unless the observer noticed how the reflection off his scales had a green-ish iridescence to it. Asp nodded in answer. “The applicant has agreed; a male of 24 years then. I must ask that you relax and expose yourself. Flare your wings out as well once you're done."

Asp was a little surprised at that; it meant to allow his penis to be seen, as if he were going to the bathroom. But the drame was watching him expectantly, so he did as he was told, shifting a bit. He'd been feeling… off ever since arriving at Prismarc, a sensation that was growing all the more uncomfortable. He'd never been into chasing dramees, or dragons, so he was rather surprised that his length was sensitive and more than a little responsive. It was almost a relief to let it out; at least the uncomfortable pressure he was feeling from the erection he'd been keeping hidden was eased.

The metalwork set into the stone surrounding Asp glowed: surrounding him on 3 sides and below were lines and glyphs. While he understood some of them, he wasn't entirely sure what was happening. It looked like a deviation of the standard scan and record formula; he even saw the standard conversions of information into something that could be recorded, though the overall formula seemed larger than normal. Most scanning formula did not require a drake to expose himself or for dragons to flare their wings, though. The drame seemed to be reading what was being recorded, nodding.

“Alright… Numbers look good… even fantastic. You may relax now." She said as the light faded. Asp let his wings rest at his sides again, though it took a concentrated effort to make himself decent again; his dragonhood was reluctant to disappear back into the slit that kept it protected and hidden. Asp shook himself a bit, ignoring the frustrating pressure between his hind legs, and reshouldered his bag while he listened to the instructions that led him to the Citadel's auditorium. The route took him along what looked like an open-air shopping street on a hill with the island's white cliff-stone walls on the side, though it seemed like the shops were still being prepared. Given the newness of the Prismarc Program, that was unsurprising. Asp wasn't involved with his father's politics or kyndom business, so all he knew was Prismarc was meant to be a sort of… go for broke measure at tackling a lot of problems that resulted from the Territorial Wars. Seemed like all the Kyndoms were involved, across the spectrum of colors.

The auditorium was larger than he expected, but he found a place to sit; only about an eighth of the place was full of young dragons and dramees like himself. He nodded to the almost golden drame he found a seat beside; a small barrier separating the spaces that were large enough for a dragon to lounge fairly comfortably in. While she was lounging, he stayed sitting for now.

“Now that intake is complete, Welcome one and all to the Prismarc Isle Citadel! Either through connection or talent, 24 of you were selected to be the first heads here while the rest are here early to help us test run how smoothly our general accommodations run." The one speaking was a very large dragon; Asp gauged him to be a Pale Matte Blue dragon. The scars of a warrior from the recent wars were evident: clawmarks on the old dragon's hide, bites on the wings, a torn ear fin, and a missing eye. Despite all this, he spoke earnestly, solemn with a hint of eagerness towards the… 35 other dragons among the seating for a couple hundred dragons in the auditorium, near as Asp could tell. He spoke at length about why and how the Citadel had been created and what those gathered were responsible for while they were here:

After the Territorial Wars finally ended, it was clear that society needed to change. The domains of Dragons, those they recognized (or Kyn), and the Wilds could not be as isolationist as they had been or the wars would start again. There were prejudices to overcome and new avenues needed to be explored in a controlled manner. As well as an effort at standardizing education and re-population; Asp's whole body had a shiver run through it when that was mentioned; he glanced towards the drame beside him at the same time she glanced at him. He blushed, but what she saw only seemed to make her smirk: even his dark scales wouldn't be able to hide how his eyes quickly darted away and made a point to not look at her. He was sure she'd noticed how he shifted; he was acutely aware that the tip of his length had slipped free of the slit between his legs.

In addition to the societal problems, there were magical ones to be addressed. The Luminescence Event that ended the Territorial Wars brought up a lot of questions about magic, it's nature, and what hadn't been discovered yet. It had been a dangerous combination of magic that swallowed everything within its range, soul and ground alike, and had caused wild masses of mixed magic almost like shrapnel across the continent (and maybe beyond). The Citadel was a place to research some of those effects. Finally, they came around to the details. Each dragon present was being paired up; the pair would be responsible for a small island within the Citadel's Ring that would be known as their territory. Said territory could be expanded with the use of points accumulated through attendances of classes and events: neither were mandatory but highly encouraged. In addition, each Lunar Cycle, the supervisors would issue challenges: goals tailored toward the pair and the isle's development. At the mention of supervisors, a team of 12 Kyn took the stage, a mixture of gryphons and wyverns. The old drake yielded the stage to another Kyn, a wyrm (essentially a land bound dragon).

The Wyrm started to call names in a pairs, one of the supervisors coming up to meet and pull those called aside. Asp fidgeted slightly, listening without hearing the various conversations around; the drame beside him seemed to be talking with another drame beside her; he didn't have anyone on his other side, either. Instead, he was doing a mental inventory of what he'd brought with him; they were each allowed to bring one bag from home. He'd brought a few Rune Magic books and more than a few seeds and cuttings from plants he'd grown on his own at home. Along with bracers he'd been told to bring that would suit his fighting style; his, like a number of greens, he guessed, had various pleats that held an assortment of plant seeds he could use in combat. He'd been told to bring any armor, as well, but he didn't have any. He wasn't much of a fighter: he was mentally calculating how much space he'd need to get everything planted while hoping the isle would have enough space for that and whatever his partner had.

He was distracted enough he didn't even notice the gold drame walking by when her name was called, missing his chance to learn it without asking. She did him a favor, if he could call it that: she broke him out of his train of thought by drawing her tail along his neck, jaw, and then chin. Quite deliberately. It nearly made him jump out of his scales; he did wind up leaning back a bit and flaring his wings in shock. The gold drame laughed and tapped his nose with her blunt tail. He recovered enough of himself to realize she wasn't being mean, so he played along as well as he thought he could. He nipped at her tail just before it was out of reach, which only made her smirk back. She surprised him again, lifting her tail just enough to show off to him while making her way down the aisle. He heard a stifled laugh, a violet drame not too far away having watched it happen. Asp didn't even have time to be embarrassed; he was called up not long after. Nor did he have time to dwell on the brief image he had of mounting her flash through his head. Seriously, what is wrong with me?

===================

Walking on stage opposite him was a drame he'd be hard-pressed to call unattractive. “Introduce yourselves to each other, please." Their supervisor, a gryphon hen, said. With a bow of her head and slight bending of her knees, the drame spoke first.

“Elrenlani, Blue Kyndom Heiress." Her voice sounded expectant and powerful, reminding Asp of his father. If he had to guess, he'd gauge her to be on the darker shade of average, for her coloration; the rest was pretty obvious: a Matte Bright Blue. She was slender, almost lithe, and Asp thought she was rather small for a Blue. Given their aquatic environment, they tended to be larger than the other kinds. Yet, she was smaller than him. She had a myriad of fins, though, ribbon like from the crest of of her forehead, down her neck, in addition to the ones that denoted her ears. Another fin started just behind her shoulders and ran down the length of her tail; each of her legs had fins that narrowed from her mid-joints to her ankles. Her fins, and belly, where a silvery white with a hint of blue, a stark contrast to the rich, slightly dark blue that was her predominate color. They matched her horns and eyes, though her horns were small, making a curved inwards u shape.

“Asporyx, son of the Green Patriarch. Specialist." Asp's own lineage disclosed that he was likely the son of a fling of his father's; not exactly the truth but not a lie either. His mother wasn't the Matriarch of the Green Kyndom, but she was part of the King's small harem, essentially. It'd been a shock when he hatched: his father was a rich, light green and his mother was average in both regards. That he came covered in scales nearly black wouldn't be unheard of, but extremely rare. Unknown to Asp, there had even been talk of the Patriarch mixing with a Shade dragon or being duped by Asp's mother. He had less pairs of horns than either of his parents, just the two on the top of his head that ran parallel and swooped out in elegant, subdued and elongated sideways S curves, and the small nubs along his nose. His neck and back were smooth, though he did have almost a fish-tail like fin on his tail: most greens had spines.

All those contradictions did not go unnoticed by Elrenlani; she raised an eyebrow but left it at that. The gryphon hen nodded, however. “Very good, I'm Bertuzza, and I'll be your supervisor. If you have any questions, feel free to ask before we take flight to your isle." She led them down a hallway, though Asp's eyes were mostly taking in Elrenlani; she seemed to be doing the same. He couldn't help but notice the way she walked was almost like a large cat: she seemed to almost elegantly prowl. Each step was rather purposeful: given she grew up in the water, walking and flying were likely not her strong suits. This was not helping his imagination, either, staring at her. He had to ask about that, really.

“Bertuzza, ever since I've arrived, I've had trouble… concentrating." The gryphon hen seemed to understand what he meant almost immediately. He turned away from Elrenlani to pay attention to her when she spoke up.

“We were… aware of this possibility with greens, and you in particular, Drake Asporyx, given your specialist talent." Most Kyn called dragons by Drake or Drame as their titles, depending on the dragon's gender. “As far as green specialists go, at least Toxinists are fairly well understood, even if each one's specifics are unique." She started as they reached a balcony that overlooked, well, the main body of the Prismarc Isle program: the isles themselves. “It ties into what, exactly, you see now. The Prismarc Island is a dragonmade, high-walled atoll with dragon-raised isles dotted throughout." As she stated, Asp could only see a few small, but sizable, islands from there they stood. The breeze in their face carried the smell of salt water. “The interior environment is closely controlled, at least when it comes to landmass: as you buy territory, builders will come and grow your land accordingly. As to your question, though: take a look at the Wall."

The Wall referred to what it sounded like, really: the atoll wall that was risen, surrounding the island to offer some protection from errant storms should weather take a turn for the worse. It'd also keep the water inside from getting too rough. Facing outwards were cliffs, but they sloped down to beaches in some areas on the interior. And all along the top of the walls were trees: even if they'd just had the dormant season, it seemed like these trees were in full bloom. “Those are the Golden Leaves; trees specially bred and designed so that they're always producing pollen that ensures vitality as well as enhances the virility and fertility of dragons in particular. Given that Toxinists, such as yourself, take in all sorts of plant matter that gets continuously circulated throughout your body, that pollen was theorized to have an exponential effect on you. There's already evidence of it in your entrance scans. According to your father, though, it shouldn't be a problem and you might even be of help learning how to counteract this effect? You will have to buy a pass to access the Ring, though."

Asp sighed; his father had shown up on his small garden about a week prior to tell him he'd been assigned to this project. He'd considered himself more of a botanist than anything he thought this project would likely entail, so he'd not expected to be picked or looked too much into Prismarc. He'd had some minor successes: crop yield improvements, potent antidotes to his own toxin and other poisons, and some alchemical pursuits that he thought would please his father enough to be left alone. “He could've warned me, at least." Asp grumbled before shaking himself.

“Well, it's no matter. You have a lovely drame to assist you if the pollen's effect is too much." Bertuzza trilled; Elrenlani just have a slight huff, one Asp could only interpret as “as if." The gryphon hen only turned to her. “You two will be together for a while, so try to take each others' needs into account and be civil. Now, if you'll follow me. Drame Elrenlani, you're free to swim if that's preferable; this is also a general warning to all: do not over-fish or hunt should you get peckish on our way." With that, she took to the sky, leaving a slightly worried Asp and more than slightly insulted Elrenlani behind for a few moments. Asp quickly took to the skies to get away; he'd already picked up on Elrenlani's distaste at the suggestion, so he left her quickly with an “it won't be a problem."

Bertuzza led them a good distance away from the citadel: their isle wasn't one of the ones close to it. Those seemed to be more general purpose, allowing for hunting and to get fresh water fish. As they flew, though, Asp couldn't help but note two things. The distance was… significant. If classes were regular enough, it would be an effort to fly back and forth so often unless one was a strong flier or swimmer. The other thing he noted was how his partner swam: the way her body streamlined the water around it and her agility were both quite impressive and graceful. She had no problem keeping up with Bertuzza either, seemingly following the hen's shadow.

Bertuzza managed to indicate which isle she was leading them to, so Asp overtook her and circled around it to get a view. It was… small. While he and Elrenlani wouldn't be stepping on each other's tails, it would still be cramped. A good two-thirds of the isle was more a lagoon than it was land, to his dismay. Judging by Elrenlani's body language when she surfaced on the beach, she was disappointed as well. He landed on the small bit of land that wasn't forest not long after Bertuzza did. Even before he landed proper, Elrenlani was speaking up. “So, how is it that we are to expand this… isle?" She hesitated to even call it that, and he found himself in agreement.

“Everything here at Prismarc is purchased via a point system; each lunar cycle, I'll come by with a folder for you both, likely leaving it here." The gryphon hen motioned to a chest with her wing while she brought out small packages for them with her beak and made sure they each took theirs. “The point system is laid out in the books in there; your first cycle's objectives and offered classes are there as well. One of which is to visit the registrar's office, so you should become familiar with the isle expansion system rather quickly. Purchases are made in the Bazaar at the Citadel, everything from land to comfort items to seeds, books, and schools of fish." She seemed to have read their intro interviews they'd have to give. “You are free to leave your isle at any time, though we ask you don't disturb others unnecessarily. I believe your things are still en route, Drame Elrenlani, and if there are no other questions, I'll take my leave. You both are expected to be at the class in three days, though. Your absence will be noted if you do not show up and points will be deducted."

Just as the gryphon hen was about to take off, there was a loud thump of a boom near by. Asp's wings flared out and Elrenlani's fins stood on their end, her wings lifted slightly. Bertuzza just let out a sigh. “Already? I hope Shaerian can keep those two under control." Another, quieter thump sounded, making Asp seriously doubt that this Shaerian was unlikely to live up to Bertuzza's hopes. As she took off, the dragon sighed and worked off his shoulder bag, leaving the leather satchel nearby while he looked over the package they'd been given.

Inside the lacquered box was a small book as well as a couple of scrolls. Breaking those open, he realized they were the class schedule for the week as well as their cycle objectives. The class Bertuzza mentioned was outlined in red and only said “Mandatory Class – Classroom B" and was, indeed, three days from now. The other classes were standard fare, really. Everything from the various histories of the different Kyndoms to cooking to sparring matches.

“I will say now, you are on your own for the time being with that… problem of yours." Elrenlani spoke up while he was looking these over. He nodded with a sigh; he was half out of his slit and more than likely Elrenlani could at least smell his state if not see it. “Besides, Toxinists are toxic in that regard, are they not?" She snorted, though she did sound… mildly worried and concerned? Asp decided to take that as a good sign.

“As long as I ingest enough of the countermeasure daily, it's not really a problem, so you don't have to worry on that front." He replied. “And I'd already picked up that you wouldn't be exactly eager. I'm not thrilled about this, myself. But I can keep myself under control." He did look over their objective list, though, and his wings flared up. There were some mundane ones, like Attend Mandatory Class, Meet Your Neighbors and Personalize your island. But some were, well, blunt. In particular the two that were Mate 4 times with your isle partner and Conceive a clutch with your isle partner. He heard a growl of anger from Elrenlani and quickly gave her some space, though he swore he heard “Some 20th Hatchday" muttered when he did; a big milestone birthday most shared with their family. And Asp wouldn't have guessed Elrenlani was so young.

===================

Asp found a small clearing and settled down, ignoring the tension between his legs for now. And managing to put the idea out of his head that the list came up with. It helped that, until now, he'd been left to his studies and wasn't particularly bothered to actually mate with anyone. He did find himself growing increasingly more curious about what it'd feel like, but he focused instead on the book they'd been given. It seemed to be a guidebook outlining the details of what they could and couldn't do on their isle. The short of it was, basically, that they couldn't expand it, but anything within the bounds was fair game. Asp found himself smiling and quickly went to work, though he was wishing he hadn't left his more basic clearing tools at home. He carefully fell tree after tree, roots and all, expanding the clearing towards the bank furthest from Elrenlani's lagoon. He used magic to uproot them while he used claws and teeth to break them down. The work helped him focus and forget about the problem of the Golden Leaves for the moment, even to the point he'd be considered decent again.

Dragons had two ways of working magic: channeling it through their fiery breath or by letting it flow out of them and directing it to interact with their surroundings' magical energies. Most dragons needed some sort of chant for this method, but the more advanced the user (or the more vivid their imagination), the less of a chant they need. Asp directed his magic to mix with the trees around him and pulled them up. He felt their weight a bit pulling on his magic, but he managed to stack the up rooted trees in the clearing.

Once the clearing was expanded, he used his magic and some roots to thoroughly till some of the clearing into a proper plot. He faintly heard “Would you keep it down over there?" from Elrenlani during this step, and it's not like the ground was still during it either. While not as large as he needed for everything he brought, he could plant and start at least a few of his more important yields: herbs, mostly, as well as cuttings that wouldn't grow if left alone for too long. The herbs were an augment to what Elrenlani referred to earlier: his toxin.

As a Green who specialized in Toxins, or Toxinist, Asp was a particular breed of dragon with a potent venom. The effects varied depending on the dragon (Asp had been told by a brave friend that Asp's felt like it was a series of sparks, jolts, and fire when undiluted). Asp also discovered that, by drinking herbal tea, his venom could change or be neutralized altogether: most Toxinists could, but it was severe trial and error to figure out the right types of herbs and dosages at times. And while most were happy enough to find the neutralizing combination, Asp went on to discover how to turn his into a paralytic and how to inverse the effects, as well as how to make the toxin work faster. With some limited success, he'd managed to combine the effects (and was forever thankful to the Verdant Wolf, Ji'cyl, who helped test them, even if she was resistant to them).

Even as light faded and he felt all the work getting to him, he was struck by an idea while his stomach finally alerted him to the need to eat. While he wasn't much of a cook, one of his sisters was and she had used some of his herbs for recipes before. He got out some of his dried herbs he usually used for tea. Taking stock, he figured he should have enough, so he quickly went to the beach on his side and went fishing. He dove down, and while he wasn't near as agile as Elrenlani, he used his plant magic to manage to capture a fair amount of fish. He brought them back to camp. While it was crude, he managed to roast the fish in herbs after roughly cleaning them. He ate a couple, mostly because he was hungry, and while they weren't amazing, they were better than raw in his opinion. So, after making some tea as well, he brought the fish and drink with him back towards Elrenlani's lagoon.

He found her on the bank, a large leather bag beside her that she left unopened. He didn't say anything, but he noticed the way her fins twitched when he came closer, even if she didn't react. He left the food and some of the tea close by before he headed back to his area, thankful that it was easy for him to fall asleep. Even if he did hear a loud, mysterious thump again as he drifted off.

===================

The next couple of days were busy for him, at least. Waking up, somewhat late admittedly and in a rather embarrassing state thanks to the Golden Leaves' pollen, he'd bathed what he'd leaked off of his belly in the sea while catching a quick breakfast for himself. It was rare for him to get saltwater fish, so he wasn't complaining too much, but he was gonna have to go hunting at some point on one of the islands closer to the Citadel. But after he ate, and noticed Elrenlani had brought back the bowl of tea he'd left her and having his own, he went to work with the finishing touches on his herb garden. Split-log barriers were put up and he even managed to negotiate with Elrenlani to use some of the lagoon's water for his gardens, though she seemed weirdly embarrassed for some reason. She did have to bring it to him with her magic, though, which she didn't seem too happy about; it'd taken a couple hours of negotiating, even if she seemed shocked by the end result. He'd agreed to let their first couple purchases of land to be mostly of her lagoon so long as he as he got to buy a freshwater source. He did propose using their combined talents to extend the lagoon into a pond closer to his garden, but she rightly pointed out that the lagoon was the source of the water thanks to some rune magic that desalinated the seawater. It'd be infeasible to think it'd be able to purify much more than there was already. As for what happened to the salt, neither of them was entirely certain; Asp guessed it was used to reinforce the isle's foundation, though.

But, once that was settled, he went to work making not just a plot, but something at least resembling a habitual area for himself. He set up a cozy three walled sleeping area for himself, of logs, of course, and a crude table of sorts and a more designated tea-making area. Even with plant magic, without tools, fashioning all that had taken a day and a half. And all throughout, sporadic thumps could be heard. Neither he nor Elrenlani were… overly eager to find out what that was, though he suspected it was the neighbors their assignment mentioned. Elrenlani did seem to be getting stressed out by it, though: she sometimes joined him, watching him work it seemed after he made them both some tea.

“This tea is not… very good, is it?" She asked at some point. “While there's not a lot of tea underwater, I can not imagine this being a popular drink." She set her bowl down; she and he both were lying on logs he'd cut-down until flat enough and level enough on both sides to make some semblance of a lounge. The first couple of times she'd wandered over, she did not seem all that comfortable given everything was, well, dirt.

“Yeah, well, this is what I can do right now. I was told one bag; I didn't know there wasn't really a size limit to the bag, however. I would've brought… a lot more if I had." He sighed, looking at the charcoal fire he'd used. He'd brought wooden bowls and insulated them with mud to make the water hot enough for tea itself.

“I did wonder why you had not brought more tools. That explains all the noise I heard." She sighed, over dramatically. Asp had already caught on she enjoyed needling him, and while it was annoying, he could take a little bit of needling. “Could not even languish in peace. Those explosion sounds are not helping either. Every time I was just about to settle my nerves…" Asp could only nod; with all his focus on his work, he hadn't heard most of them, apparently.

“You over that, by the way? Or, well, most of it? I can't imagine those last two objectives aren't weighing on you." He finished his tea and settled in a bit more, shifting his hind leg a bit: she seemed to have noticed. Now that he wasn't working, his body was free to let things, well, free.

“Th-those are triv-trivial. I knew what I had signed up for." She said, though she did cough a couple of times. “Though, I did hope they would not be so quick about introducing that. Or that I would have more of a choice of partner, at least for my first clutch. I would've liked a blue~" She sighed, again, dramatically. Maybe even more so, it felt like to Asp.

“It's not like we have to do them, your Highness." Asp half-growled, acidically emphasizing that last bit given her lineage. While officially, color discrimination was now taboo, it was hard to change opinions even in just four years. Asp had had more than enough of it, really: Shades easily identified him as not one of them while Greens, somehow, often didn't see his own color. So he'd dealt with it among those that it seemed like he could fit in with and his own kind all his life; it was the reason he'd mostly retreated into his experiments.

“Very true, but if we want to expand, we need all the points we can get, including the clutch points… it is a conundrum. On that note, we should talk about those optional classes…" Thankfully, they both didn't have to appear in class for them to get attendance marks when the classes weren't mandatory. There was only one mandatory class this month, it seemed. Also, each clutch laid was worth a certain number of points, and a large amount at that if the guidebook was anything to go by: 2,000 + 500 for each additional egg, though the points were only given when the eggs were laid. They were both planning on checking out the bazaar as well after the mandatory class to see just what kind of pricings and points they both wanted.

“Well, I do want to take the botany and alchemy ones, so those are covered. I bet you want the fish studies?" She nodded to that. “That leaves… the histories, healing arts, sparring practice…" The list was long. Too long; it was obviously designed so that not every pair could get to every class, but there were repeats.

“I insist you take the histories. And the biology course." Elrenlani said. “I could barely sit through my own history lessons and I have likely heard it all before." Asp groaned a bit; he knew a little of Greens' history, so she was likely right. “And you have no talent for healing magic, right? I will go to that, hunting, and sparring to balance it out."

“Yeah, right, balanced…" He grumbled; there were 10 history courses. And while there were three a day, with Wild and Kyn history making up the length of one of the Kyndom's histories. A Kyndom for each color, plus the Shades, or Greys… Asp was cursing the original dragons who were petty enough to split up like that.

“Plenty of time for you to make friends, if you can~" She flicked her eyes towards his sleeping area. “That seems rather… quaint; you could make me one as well, yes?" She changed the subject immediately, likely realizing she'd start to push her luck with the way he was glaring at her. He'd just gotten the woven branch and leaf roof on his sleeping area and a semi-soft bedding of magically grown moss. He just sighed; he needed to use the logs for something anyways.

“Yeah, fine, you won't get the roof today, though." He didn't really look at her when he got up and went about working on it: he did take care to make it larger than his own, though. Dragons their age were known for growth spurts, and given her size, he figured she was due for one, so he figured just in case. Or at least more luxury. She said… nothing while he worked, either, which did surprise him. But by the time he was done, he was tired enough and the moon had just started to rise, that he didn't say anything and just went back to his own area.

===================

“Would you wake up already you indecent drake?" He heard someone growling at him; he slowly lumbered awake, his eyes adjusting to seeing his Isle Partner looking at him. Which normally, wouldn't be an issue, but he'd now gone 4 days exposed to this weird super pollen. It wasn't his fault he was waking up with a drooling hard-on… or that he had to sleep on his back partially because of that. “We will be late to the class if you lounge about any longer." She poked at his nose with her webbed talon before she turned, seemingly satisfied that he was awake. Asp's groggy mind, somehow, registered what she said and quickly tried to kick into gear, making his way to the mid point of the island; he noted she'd already watered his crops, even. He must've really slept in. He downed a bowl of tea he'd set over night and grabbed his bag before they left.

Only once he noted his swimming partner fishing did he realize he needed to eat, so he dropped low. He was already in a somewhat annoyed mood, and hunting half a dozen squirrels, quickly, with plant magic just annoyed him further. It wasn't a simple thing, but it was faster than proper hunting. After a somewhat quick (and fairly meager, really: feral squirrels were annoying difficult to eat) meal, he took off again and caught up to Elrenlani just as she was climbing out onto the landing zone. With some guidance, they stumbled into their assigned classroom not a minute before the instructors. He found a lounging seat for dragons and plopped down into it; Elrenlani did the same though behind him. This classroom was set up much like the auditorium in a way, though given the smaller size, there were only 12 of the 36 present; the dragon seating was in an upper ring around a stage, roughly eye level, in groupings of 2x2. The seating for Kyn and Wilds was higher, smaller, though those seats were empty at the moment.

A violet drame came in; Violets were integral to the Prismarc system. Their emphatic and psionic abilities were needed for a whole host of jobs this project entailed, particularly when it came to dealing with the front-end of the academy's projects like teaching and interacting with those who were accepted. This one was, by Asp's estimation, a Matte Dark Violet. Violets also had the most significant biological and anatomical knowledge among the Kyndoms, for some reason.

“Alright, listen up; you may have noticed the last couple of objectives for your cycle when you looked them over." This caused a stir, Asp blinking and then letting out a slight growl of frustration. Of all the topics they could've brought up… he figured they were just in for more detailed explanations of the point system and rules. “This class is about that, in numerous ways. As a warning, I will be blunt. If you find yourself uncomfortable, well, blame your parents. We will also be showing a more detailed view of some things. Now, with those disclaimers out of the way, I am Security Officer and Professor Lytrina. Let's begin."

And begin she did: it started out well enough, honestly: she told them about domestic life of a dragon couple, before, during, and after conceiving a clutch. She included instincts about mating and towards mates. It was during this time, his neighbor nosed at him: it made him look up towards her and was a bit surprised when he recognized her.

It was the gold drame from the first day: more accurately, Asp guessed, she was a Heavy Metallic Dark Yellow, and like most Earth-associated dragons, her features were sharper than Elrenlani's, though bulkier than his own. She had a powerful build, and, unusually, her belly scales were darker than her back scales; Asp could only think of them as burnt bronze in contrast to the rich smokey gold of her outer scales. Her horns were like sharp angled hooks that pointed upwards and in before hooking again back towards her head. And she had a number of nubs, much like his own, but from what he could see, they went all the way from her nose to her tail, though the ones on her tail were thicker, blunter. Her eyes were… surprising, besides the knowing mischief in them: they were almost black and only flecks of gold really showed where her pupils was.

“Rough morning there, stud~?" She half-joked, though she did seem at least a little concerned. He noted the violet drame who'd snickered the first day was also in the room, though she was a little ways off. He just bumped his nose back against the gold drame to acknowledge she was right and that he wasn't really up to talking. He blinked in surprised when he felt her rest her head by his, then, but she didn't seem to want to disturb him further. He did feel… mildly aware of Elrenlani's presence behind him, though. He had a feeling she was going to goad him later for this, at least.

The lecture continued, though it got intimate, fast. Professor Lytrina was not joking about being blunt. She went into great detail describing both male and female dragons' genitalia. One tidbit that Asp was not aware of was that while dragons were known to have ridges, spines, and knots, it was uncommon for one to have two and fairly rare for a dragon to have all three like he did. The rest of it, admittedly, he mostly had an idea about, though he did find himself interested, despite himself, in the details of a drame's anatomy. Particularly how to please her; he figured if he was going to mate, he might as well make it enjoyable, right? Even if the details were leaving him really worked up… though he wasn't the only one if his nose was right. He definitely smelled a couple of other dragons and more than a few drames; he blinked in surprise when he briefly got what he thought was Elrenlani's scent.

“Now, I know you're all worked up, but I'm the instructor for this class specifically for two reasons: I can fight and I'm a dark violet. Do not do anything with this information until after the afternoon session. We don't want students rutting in the hallways, no matter how bad the population problem is. And class should not be delayed because we're waiting on your horny asses to finish up." Professor Lytrina said; Asp more than a few growls of frustration, even one in his ear from the golden drame beside him. He was already past the point of worked-up, so it's not like expressing his own frustration would be any help at the moment. “After lunch, we'll have the visual portion of this and then you can go back to your isles and rut all you want." There were a few cheers, though Asp was surprised to not hear the drame beside him do so.

Asp got up after the professor left and stretched. He rolled his neck a bit and shook himself out before feeling a bump to his flank. “So, what's got you all bent out of shape?" The gold drame asked. “Oh, and I'm Enoldria, daughter of the Yellow Matriarch. You can call me Dria, though~" She was practically purring, though her tone made it clear she was joking. She sounded kind of young, too; the program's age cut-off was nineteen, so Asp guessed around that age.

“Aspryox, son of the Green Matriarch, and I guess you can call me Asp?" He sighed. “As for your answer… there's… honestly quite a bit. The least of it is the late start I had this morning and the rush to get here." Dria hummed a little and nodded, though she pointedly looked towards his out-and-proud dragonhood without actually looking at it. “And yes, that is really frustrating; this lecture did not help." He sighed.

“Well, Ellie is one sexy drame, so I can't fault your frustration. I also know she's not easy, so I don't envy you." Asp blinked with a tilt of his head and raised his eyebrow. “Oh, Ellie's Kyndom and mine are tight and all my siblings are older besides my clutch-mates. So she hung out with us during our parents' talks. More than a few of my older brothers have hit on her, but she's been… forceful in her rejection. Not that I blame her." Dria made a scowling face. “Those drakes have no idea how to charm a drame. Let alone a Blue. They're not all 'might makes right' like us Yellows." She walked ahead of him, and after he processed everything he was hearing, he caught up with her. Only to meet Elrenlani outside.

“Enoldria, what are you telling him? Why are you even talking to him?" The Blue asked; the violet drame he'd noticed a few times now was by her side; she nodded to him.

“Nothing juicy that's specific to you, Ellie, promise~ And he seemed grumpy, so I figured I'd try to cheer him up. And maybe blow off some steam. Sadly, the Professor put an axe in the first plan~" She leaned against Asp, who's wings flared a bit in surprise, both with her implication and the contact. The violet drame giggled, as well. “Oh come on Fai, he's certainly easier on the eye than… well, a good number of the other drakes here. And he's not eyeing us like a piece of meat. Even if his is out." The violet drame went from giggling to laughing. Asp guessed it was because of him, though, since her sapphire eyes went over to him before it did just as he awkwardly shuffled, very aware of his arousal at the moment. “So I figured I'd drag him away to let him vent and vent to him. I'd offer to let you join, but I bet you're at least one of his complaints." Elrenlani looked at Asp, who tried his hardest to not look complacent to Dria's comment. Apparently, he failed.

“… Well, fine. I will go with Faistyve, then." Elrenlani looked… disgusted? Upset? Asp wasn't entirely sure. The violet drame was still laughing, heartily, when she walked away. Asp couldn't help but notice the almost deer like mannerisms. While Elrenlani's long legs were more powerful, this other drame was much more lithe without being muscled.

“Come on, stud, I know they're both lovely, but don't stare too hard~" Dria teased, using her tail to tug his face in a different direction before walking off. He followed her to the first floor of the citadel from the 3rd they were on: the third seemed to be almost exclusively classrooms of a similar nature. They'd already gotten half their points for attending the class, and while they didn't have enough time to explore, they could at least grab food. Cooked and prepared food: Asp's stomach started growling right away. He found a food stand selling roasted duck, one of his favorites, before joining Dria in a small courtyard beneath beneath what looked like a cross between an oak and willow tree? Asp could only imagine alchemy being involved: while it looked like a willow tree, instead of the wispy foliage, it was vines of oak-leaves. The trees on his island were some type of pine with thick trunks.

“Thanks, not sure I was up for eating with Elrenlani after that. I've had enough random fantasies lately that lecture did not help with." Asp sighed as he settled, digging into his food, savoring the spices with a deep, resonating rumble.

“What, and I don't pop up in those? I'll just have to try harder then!" Dria said, making Asp cough and choke, both because of what she said and what the image her words put in his head: the teasing golden drame beneath him, begging for his eggs. He let out a loud groan of frustration, which only made her laugh. “Oh drakes, how you manage for three days like this?" Dria asked between laughs.

“Staying my distance, mostly. Her attitude is… helpful in that regard, too. I would rather be with a drame that wants to be with me." Asp said, looking at his food, some of his appetite gone. Dria's laughter trickled off, though, and he looked to her with a raised eyebrow.

“It's complicated; my isle partner's not… taking some things well. At all. Not that I blame him… though it's a weird situation." Dria sighed, which only made Asp all the more curious. She was forward, even if it was joking and teasing, but she was being vague… he decided not to press. Dria saw his curiosity, though, and seemed to debate for a bit. “Come to the biology class tomorrow if you really want to know~"

“Already sorta planning on being there…"

“Oh? Hmm, yeah, Ellie isn't the most scholarly inclined… she may not talk like it, but she's a practical skills drame through and through. She's lamented more than once about her future being all diplomacy." Dria guessed. Asp blinked a bit, noticing that explained… at least a bit, between Elrenlani's choice of classes and the sparseness of her 'personalization' above the water. He sighed, realizing he'd offer her some more help when they got back. “She's not above using that position to justify her treatment of others, either, though it's mostly a defensive measure, particularly around drakes." Asp had guessed as much; his half-sisters were much the same in that regard.

“I don't take it personally, though she could cool it with the color talk." Asp said; Dria's face clouded at that but she stayed quite, snapping up some of her meal. Roasted deer if Asp guessed right. “She's not even the biggest problem, though, really. I would just lose myself in alchemy or rune magic or botany and she'd be left to her own devices if that was the case. Those Golden Leaves, though…" He snarled.

“Oh, yeah, those were a hot topic in the discussions about this place. Particularly their effect on Toxinists… Oh, Luminescence! I can't figure out whether to hug you or laugh my tail off~" She took a moment but settled for both after finishing off her food, laughing while leaning against him with her wing over his back. “Though, you're amazing for holding back this much. From what I heard, the one involved in making these trees went nuts and tried to use her tail when she was first hit with the pollen. Her spined tail." Asp winced in tandem with Dria. Most Green's tails had spines, and those spines were not blunt. “Took a ton of sedatives to calm her down and sleep it off… after a drake rutted her senseless, even." Asp nipped at Dria for that comment, growling playfully albeit with that edge of frustration. “Aww, calm down Asp~ Listen, I won't tell you any of her kinks she's told me about, but… here's some things you should know about blues~"

-===================-

Dria led Asp back into the classroom when it was time, though most anyone could see the break did not do Asp any favors. He was walking stiffly and kept his eyes trained on Dria's tail tip until they were back in their seats. It wasn't too long before Professor Lytrina came back in, this time followed by a white drame. It was hard for Asp, and most dragons, to tell just how Light a white drame was, but unlike most dragons, Shade dragon's Light or Heavy didn't correspond well to their power levels: a nature of being white, grey, or black. If he had to guess, he wouldn't call this new drame Bright, either, but she was still closer to healing than lethal magic.

“Glad to see everyone back in their seats promptly. This is Professor Visarune, and she's here to help with this lesson. Combining her magic with mine, we can project what someone else sees onto this quartz board." There was, indeed, a slab of quartz built into the wall above the teacher's entrance to the room. “Drake Asporyx, join us up here."

Asp's stomach dropped, wondering where this was going and what he might've done to get called out like this. Dria nosed against him to bring him to his senses, and with a sigh, he stood and made his way up some stone steps towards the lectern. “Drame Elrenlani, join us as well, it's only fair you share in this. Besides, you'll get objective progress and bonus points besides." Professor Visarune spoke more softly, almost empathically. Elrenlani looked… stoic, but she made her way from her seat beside Fai. She came up on stage: suddenly they were both bathed in violet and white light. “Alright, the link is established. Now, Drame Elrenlani, if you'll lift your tail while facing whichever direction-"

“… Does it have to be me, Professor?" Elrenlani asked; Asp was slowly figuring out what was going on.

“It would be easier if it was, but we could ask for a volunteer…" Dria immediately shot her wing up. “From either of the unpaired Drames; we would rather keep this limited so that partners can form proper bonds. You may be switched out, though; Drake Asporyx is rather important to this lesson in particular." Professor Visarune said. “I'm sure Drake Asporyx has taken care to neutralize his toxin?" She asked him.

“Yes, Professor." That all but confirmed at least the gist of what they were going to be asked to do. He thought for a moment and then spoke up. “If I'm understanding this right… would it be alright to have her lay down instead?" Elrenlani looked at him warily. “It might be more comfortable, is all." Asp was speaking quietly on this point. Between Elrenlani's upbringing, both emotional and environmental, Asp could imagine a little of what was holding her back. The Professors looked at each other and then at the quartz screen.

“That should be acceptable." The white drame said. Professor Lytrina was starting to look rather impatient. “Do you two need a moment to confer?" Asp nodded without hesitation and the professors stepped back to explain, in detail, what was going to happen: essentially two lessons in one. Oral pleasure and an up close look at anatomy of both a drake and a drame.

Elrenlani walked a little farther down the way to the teacher's entrance while Asp followed. When she stopped, she took a deep breath and Asp leaned out, remembering one of the things Dria told him: Blue's fins were sensitive. He lightly brushed his nose against the one along her neck and let out a slightly heated breath, warmed by dragon's flame. She went stiff and Asp swore he heard a faint coo-ing purr. “Damn Enoldria…" Elrenlani muttered. “Just… give me a moment, Asporyx. I wish they had given us more of a heads up about this so I could think it through. Or prepare myself."

“Yeah, though, given the nature of it, I guess it's better than seeing that drake from before and Professor Lytrina demonstrate…" Asporyx's tried to make a joke. “And… given how close we're about to get, Asp is fine."

“Drake from before…? Oh, General Toriltide. Yes, that would be awkward… given he was injured in that particular area. And my uncle." Elrenlani wrinkled her nose. “And I prefer full names; familiarity is… difficult for me." Asp nodded at that, remembering that tidbit. Professor Visarune came back over, though, looking at them expectantly.

“If you're really this uncomfortable, would a safeword system help? If we hear that, we'll stop and switch you out with another drame. You might lose your Isle status, though; we don't want to force an unwilling Drame into that sort of role." Elrenlani looked between Asp, the class, and the professor before she sighed.

“… Asporyx, you will stop, right?" Elrenlani asked. He nodded. “… Very well. Otter Rock. That will be the code phrase." Professor Visarune looked to him.

“Uh… Deerflame, I guess?" It was the herb that neutralized his toxin, so he figured “safe" in the literal sense would be easier to remember.

“Is right here fine, Professor?"

“It is not ideal, but it will work." The white drame said, but she turned back to go towards the class. “Though, you both will have to consent to one-way telepathy from Professor Lytrina, I believe, for this lesson to work." Asp looked to Elrenlani, who pointedly wasn't looking at him, but she nodded. He did as well; it would not be ideal, given this was the first time they were… any sort of intimate together. Elrenlani lowered herself onto her belly, looking up at Asp. He just leaned down and licked at the base of her headfin on her brow; this time she did actually coo.

“Enoldria tell you about that, too?" She growled, squinting at him. He shook his head, though. She hadn't, but he'd sort of guessed anyways given what she told him about blue fins. And even if it wasn't a sensitive spot, he did it more to try and reassure her. Elrenlani sighed, rolling and twisting onto her back.

Alright, now we can finally start. You need to get a good look at her slit, Asporyx. The violet Professor's voice spoke into his head; he tried not to start at the suddenness of it. Given the way Elrenlani's wings flared and then she took a deep breath, he guessed the professor had said something to her as well. He trailed a talon down Elrenlani's white belly. Despite how calm she was acting, she was trembling beneath his touch. He lowered his eyes, a bit surprised: they'd just been told that an aroused drame's slit would have a slight blush to it and be spread when a drame was aroused. He hadn't expected Elrenlani's to be glistening though.

He moved his muzzle closer, following the Professor's guidance in his head. He eased one talon onto her tailbase, the other foretalon coming forward to spread her folds. Elrenlani whimpered and squirmed slightly, Asp watching as her body tensed her muscles and tried to close her slit on reflex. His talon held her on display, though. It made his somewhat groggy mating instincts perk up, too: the contrast of her cold white under scales with the aqua-blue flesh hidden away and outlining all the anatomy he'd just learned about. He was holding her, the professors showing his sight to the class and pointing out what they'd talked about. He heard Elrenlani whimper and her breathing get a little shallower; his forelimb on her tailbase squeezed gently. He heard her gasp, but she seemed to relax a little. He kept up the impromptu massage, petting and squeezing along her tail while they waited.

Asporyx, lay down a bit; her hips need to be seen for this bit with her in this position. Doing as he was told, Asp got a different angle, looking along her body. Those watching could see the way her chest rose and fell as she breathed. Now, slowly lick just inside of her. Despite the seemingly coaching words, the professor's tone was sharp and demanding in his head. Asp's eyes went wide, but his tongue eased out; he gave a huff of his breath to warn Elrenlani before his tongue pushed past her scales and against the shallows just behind her slit. He heard a quiet moan and saw as her back arched. He carefully swirled his tongue along the edge. Avoid the pressure point we talked about for now. Asp mentally nodded, for all the good it did, his tongue teasing closer and closer to that spot before pulling away. Elrenlani let out a whine at that, squirming. He started back up the other side, pushing pressure against her with his tongue. He started to really notice her taste, unsurprisingly salty, but not overpoweringly so. It was actually kind of pleasant, if he could admit it to himself. Her scent was growing stronger, too; again, not unappealing, all things considered.

Now, zero in on that pressure point. Asporyx did as the professor said; the effect was immediate. Elrenlani's hips bucked and rose against his tongue; she gasped out. Her forelegs clawed at the air. But Asp didn't relent, his tongue rolling on and off that point. While a drame's slit was fairly circular when spread, it did have a slight tear drop shape. The point they'd said to aim at was that pointed spot that formed at the 'top' of the tear that pointed towards her belly. Judging by the salty nectar gathering on his tongue, the way Elrenlani was groaning out, and the warm scent invading Asp's senses, she was at least enjoying the feeling. Elrenlani let out a sharp yelp and tensed up, and Asp pulled his tongue away for a moment. Go deeper, Asp; she hasn't reached her peak. Asp did raise an eyebrow at the professor's voice, but did as he was told, sinking his tongue into his Isle Partner. She whined out, but seemed to be calming down with heavy pants. He twisted his tongue around, exploring what he couldn't see, though he felt his tongue starting to get a little sore, tired, and tangled. He did start to notice more and more of a reaction as he used both the tip and the middle part of his tongue pressing around inside of her, though, and Elrenlani was breathing a lot heavier. He'd pressed close enough that his nose started to grind against that pressure point, drinking in the drame's scent and feeling his own dragonhood start to ache.

Pull your tongue out now! He almost didn't register the professor's command, his tongue escaping just as Elrenlani let out (a surprisingly undignified) roar and jet of flame. He, and their audience, watched as her back arched, wings flared, and the front of his muzzle was coated with a thin fluid. She continued to shake and almost seemed to seize in a rhythm, her mouth slightly agape. He stepped to the side and up along her form, leaning down to rub his muzzle against her neck; it was something most dragons did to their hatchlings and loved ones to calm them down. While he didn't think they were that close, he felt the urge nonetheless.

“… You can stop now, Asporyx. Your muzzle is a mess." Her voice was a little rough and squeaky until she cleared it. He just rolled his eyes a bit, which earned him a huff from the drame.

How sweet. The mental voice was dry. We need to move on; we're hitting time as is. Either step over her facing the class or switch positions. As a warning… I've got a bead on how pent up Drake Asporyx is; can't have him blowing immediately, so I will put a mental block on his release until we have gotten through the material. The professor seemed to have just conveyed the same message this time. Elrenlani shot him a look of… well, he couldn't exactly read what her look was conveying. At least, it wasn't completely disgust or disdain like he was used to from her when something like that was mentioned.

“… Let us switch. I need to regain my footing anyways." Elrenlani sighed. Asporyx was a little worried, but he helped her up regardless, noting how shaky her powerful form was. She stretched while he eased himself onto his back, very aware of how on display his dark-fleshed penis was. He felt… something… settle in his awareness that he could push up against.

You will just tire yourself out. Came the Professor's voice and Asp sighed, resting his head back. At least his tongue got to rest. Suddenly, though, he watched as Elrenlani half-stepped, half-climbed ontop of him, her belly against his chest and her chest on his belly. Even that closeness, and the view and scents he had beneath her tail, was enough to make him feel like he was about to burst. He groaned, which only made Elrenlani hmph. Her tail curled about and wrapped about his muzzle to stifle him. He wasn't too worried about the safeword system; while he wasn't over the moon about this, he sure as Luminescence wasn't about to stop. His instincts and lusts had been mostly dormant, not dead, and seemed to be waking up. And he was fairly certain Elrenlani didn't want to hurt him, at least.

He had little chance to prepare. And it seemed like the Professor was going to mentally give them the same lecture she was giving the class in their heads. Drake Asporyx is a rare drake with all three anatomical quirks. First are these barbs or spines along the head and back of a drake's length. Asporyx, despite his attempts not to, squirmed from feeling Elrenlani's cool nose and warm breath against his neglected cock; a hind leg actually kicked at the touch. He let out a stifled groan when he felt her tongue tease through those spines, teasing them up a bit. Each tug was a small jolt through his body along his spine, his wings flaring out and twitching. This vague, blunt frustration he'd had building up these past few days changed into a sharp pleasure with each jolt, one that threatened to be painful. His mind could barely understand what the professor was saying. These can encourage a drame, or numerous other species, to ovulate even more while in heat. Close enough to a female's heat cycle, mating for pleasure might actually turn into a breeding session.

Now as for these ridges. Elrenlani's tongue moved to working along the underside of his length; she even carefully used a talon to push his length against him so that she had a good view of the defined, plate scale-like hard spots of flesh that came to a point in the middle. While drakes that have spines have this point; those without spines may not have it. If they do, that point can still trigger ovulation in a heated female, though it's less effective as the spines. Asp hissed; Elrenlani's probing tongue twisting through spots Asp hadn't realized were that sensitive. Either type, though, of these ridges are meant to pull a rival drake's seed out; it's a leftover aspect from less civilized times. _ If _ a drake knows what he's doing, these are also powerful tools in pleasing and sating a drame. Asp's mind was hazy; the professor's words were just making it through. As was the sight of Elrenlani's drooling slit; his tongue slipped out of his bound muzzle, lapping at that dripping nectar. He felt Elrenlani tense up, her tongue squeezing around his length after having snaked along more than a few ridges' undersides. The squeeze made him start to see a few spots and he arched beneath the smaller drame. It made him growl, and he felt a bit of his pre leak out against her talon. At least he thought it was a leak; the class watched as his length throbbed and that slick fluid spurted out against him and Elrenlani.

And that is a sign that a male is close. An understatement: Asp's mental self had been scrambling against that block she put on him until it just… slumped against it, his mental attempts exhausted. His tongue was just idly working against Elrenlani's slit and the outside of it, grooming her of her release before. Her scent was heavy, too, and still warmer than he realized. That is also enough to cause conception, although it's not as sure as a drake's semen proper. Now, at the base of some drakes' penis, there is a knot. Elrenlani's tongue dutifully slid down the swollen bulb; it had been swollen for a while and Asp, honestly, thought it'd gone numb. The powerful jolt and explosion of pleasure in his mind proved him wrong on that, and that was just at Elrenlani's lick. Her cool tongue encircled it and squeezed. Asp's body trembled and thrashed on reflex, squirming beneath his Isle Partner so much she had to use her talons to pin his hips in place and her hinds held his head. His wings were free to flail a bit, though.

...A knot only releases the tie after a fair amount of time has passed. Asp seemed to have missed some of the lecture, he faintly realized. Elrenlani had her muzzle pressed up against the spine side of his length, nuzzling a bit while her tongue lavished along the ridges and over his knot as the professor reviewed. He could feel his partner's cool breath as she seemed to be inhaling his scent. He was half convinced Professor Lytrina was just torturing him at this point; while he had felt a slight ache in his groin before, now it was a powerful, yearning one that made him whine; it was both like a wave was about to crash on him and he was being denied something he needed. All he could really focus on was the feeling of Elrenlani's dexterous, delicate, cool tongue and her saliva drooling over his length: he'd had to stop grooming her a while ago, his tongue just limp.

Now, we'll have Drake Asporyx release his seed so that everyone can see what it looks like. Asp's world turned, well, white. As did Elrenlani's, though for a different reason. While Asp's mind became overloaded with his pent-up release, her front was coated, liberally, in his cum. As was his tail and inner thighs. Asp was too out of it to notice the feeling of Elrenlani's tongue milking him properly, or when she lapped up some of it off of him. He'd tried to roar and release a jet of flame, but the Blue's tail around his muzzle made that rather difficult; all he could really do in his pinned state was thump the end of his tail against the floor beneath him.

By the time Asp regained his senses, he noticed Elrenlani wasn't ontop of him anymore. Instead, he had a golden drame grinning in his face. “Feeling better, stud~?" Dria asked, clearly still laughing a bit. All Asp could do was nod. “Fai took Ellie to go get washed off; you made a mess out of her and yourself~" Asp groaned; he'd probably get an ear full from Elrenlani about that later. “Come on, we should get you cleaned up, too; the Professors tried to get you to move, but you weren't exactly responding." Asp blinked, blushing beneath his dark scales. Dria only bumped her nose against his shoulder, pushing him up a bit and he groaned again, only now realizing how stiff he was in other areas. After a bit of effort, and stretching, she managed to help him up. Dria led him through the teacher's exit, where apparently there were a couple of bathing pools; Fai was standing outside one and Dria pushed him into the other one. The two drames talked while Asp cleaned up, using tongue and claw to make sure he was fully. Normally he'd use plant magic, but in the stone cavern, no plants to be found. He didn't mind his own taste, though it was stronger, earthier, than he remembered.

When he finished up and got out, Fai poked her head in: Asp's mental capacity to be embarrassed was fried from use and fatigue, at the moment, and given what the class had just seen, it'd be silly. “Elrenlani said she was going back to the isle, but was… insistent you go to the bazaar to check out pricing, particularly on the different fish stocks." Asp furrowed his brow but nodded: his tongue still didn't seem to want to work. The violet drame left, though Dria lingered behind. He raised an eyebrow towards her.

“I wanted to go to the bazaar, too. Besides, after a show like that, I can't just leave you alone~" She purred; he could only shudder and she laughed. “Relax, we're not supposed to mate outside our island pairs yet, anyways. Something the professors said while you were conked out, I guess. I'll have to wait until the next lunar cycle." She did sigh a bit and seemed to get serious. “But both Fai and Professor Lytrina suggested you not be alone after that. Fai's really sensitive; it's almost scary how passive her abilities are. They didn't want you getting all messed up in the head." Asp reflected for a moment; if he was alone right now… yeah, he'd probably be pretty plagued with self-doubts and way too in his head with all the scenarios he could imagine, like losing control under the Golden Leaves' pollen and hurting someone.

“Y-yeah," His voice was thick and slow. “Just… try to ease up on the flirting for now, alright?" He bumped his nose against hers; she only grinned a bit cockily.

“So you did notice! And nope, can't promise that. It just sorta comes out, at least around you~" Asp rolled his eyes, fairly certain she was joking. He walked with Dria towards the interior of the citadel, curious to explore the market.
