Conspirators~!
Another installment in the Gaminghouse! This one is light on graphic sex, heavier on focusing on interactions with others. Join Kai on a shopping trip, get surprised (a number of times), and even surprises herself!
Oh man, why do I feel so nervous? I found myself wondering. The weather was nice (if warm), and given it was a weekday, and before noon, the outdoor shopping outlets weren't that crowded. And, like everything else in this city, particularly in this district, everything was either park-like or wood-tones when it came to the builds. Or glass. But, well… I was a little on edge, if I had to guess, because of who I was walking with.
Aeltia was one of our company's character designers and motion capture artists: her powerful build (and, well, she was pretty busty… seriously… I'd have to guess DD or even E cups) was great to capture how someone close to her size would move in game settings. So here I am, a slightly soft, fairly slight fox-bun walking beside a bear who was just at 6' tall and looked like she could use me for lifting at the gym. And, admittedly, that wouldn't be a problem if she didn't have a crush on my partner, Zav… and seemed torn between being jealous or being happy about him finding someone.
“Any ideas on where to start, Ms. D'aureville?" Aeltia asked; I jokingly bumped my hip against hers. At least the side that didn't have my messenger bag on it.
“Please, just Kai." I sighed; I'd already told her this, but she seemed to be using it despite that. “And… I guess anywhere? I'm not big on dresses, though. Or skirts." My ears twitched back. “They make me look all pear-shaped." I mean… I am! But at least with pants I can highlight the fact that my legs are bunny-like and made for running and jumping. Plus… they felt weird to do the aforementioned things in and I liked that freedom.
“Not even with slits on the side?" The bear woman asked, looking at me with a tilt of her head.
“I guess I could try that. Maybe. Always felt like that defeated the purpose, though." I flicked my tail a bit, my anxiety ramping up a bit more. “Oh, I do prefer halter styles, though! Or thicker straps on my shoulders."
“Let's see, then." We stopped by a directory kiosk where she looked at the map and options. “Glacé might actually be a good fit; that's our fashion consultant's store."
“Zav mentioned they're pricey, though?"
“True, but could see if they've got sales. Or I can get a better idea of colors." The bear said, leading the way. I followed, growing tenser and tenser before I just… figured it was better to get it out.
“Are you really alright with this?" I asked, catching up and looking at her.
“Of course, Ms. D'aureville, why wouldn't I be?"
“Well, you're still calling me that. Plus, well, I am with Zav." The bear did wince.
“I-I…" She sighed. “Ugh, yeah, I'm a little jealous. But I only have myself to blame. I'm guessing Delia told you?" I nodded. “I just wasn't able to push myself to do it. And don't worry, it's not a spiteful jealousy, just envious."
“Any reason?"
“Well, I don't want to mess up the team." I tilted my head. “Unlike you… it took me a bit to realize I liked him like that. A whole year, in fact. Hell, I'm still not entirely sure it's not just lust and physical attraction. So if we tried and it got awkward…" I guess me being new was a benefit in that regard. Plus, I was just a coder (for now; they hadn't really talked to me about the streaming stuff they wanted to set-up); I could easily be replaced. “We've already got one shut-in dragon; don't need another."
“Hmm… what if it was just lust and physical attraction, though? Would that be so bad for fun?"
“He's not really a 'for fun' type of guy is he?" I did have to agree on that, though… he did seem to want to be. He did trust Delia enough to mate with her occasionally before I came along. And Thal. And I had no desire to put a stop to that (hell, I wanted to join!).
“Well… he is and he isn't; if it wasn't for the whole 'hunters' thing, pretty sure he would be." I sighed. Mating with a dragon (or a few other 'mythical' species, like a phoenix or qilin) was beneficial for their mates, too: some of that 'mythicness' rubbed off and extended lifespans and made them healthier.
“Ugh, those guys." She growled. “Or I guess girls in his case." I suspected guys, too, but he'd never brought it up. “They definitely ruin a lot of dragons' lives." She ground a fist into her paw. I nodded in agreement: it wasn't just Zav's hang-ups I had to deal with about those. I wanted his immediate family's approval, too. And they'd already had incidents with hunters in bad ways: Zav's older brothers were apparently on the hook for quite a bit of child-support.
“Wish I knew a sure-fire way to say I'm not like that."
“They'll know." My ears twitched a bit. “I'm not dumb; I figured you looking for nicer clothes was related to something like meeting his parents." I nodded with a sigh, walking into the store that we were heading for. I took a look around and then squeaked.
“Wha…?" There was a whole, albeit small, section for intersex women and herms (we need a little extra room in the groin, after all, but a good portion of us were more feminine in appearance). All nerves forgotten, I dashed over and started looking through the racks. Even the sticker shock wasn't enough to dampen my spirits. “Seriously? None of the shops in the old neighborhood had a whole area like this~"
“Most shops here don't either. Some will denote 'sizes' on pants a little differently." She pulled up, on her phone, a sizing chart for one of the other stores: their sizes were split into 'waist' and 'inseam', I guess to make it more… delicate about which ones would be good for herms and intersex women. I bounced a bit on my toes; my tail even wagged a bit.
“… Okay, now I gotta ask about lingerie stores."
“Trickier; think there's only one that has ready made stuff around here. Assuming you don't want just boxers or something?"
“I usually go the boyshorts route." I admitted, blushing a little. “I do tend to lean more towards femininity with fashion."
“Definitely suits you more. But are those… enough?"
“I mean… mostly? Sure, boxers are a bit more comfortable." I shrugged. “As long as I don't get too excited, I only sorta notice, and I'm beyond used to that." The bear snorted and rolled her eyes a bit, arms crossing beneath her heavy chest (seriously, careful there, Aeltia! You'll spill out of that tube top!). “What?"
“You shouldn't have to worry about that. Or be uncomfortable." Aeltia huffed. I just shrugged, really. “Anyways, what colors were you thinking?"
“Hmm… I mostly stick to dark, bright purples and greens, and either super light or super dark browns." I said. I had picked up some lingo from my high-school friend after all. And she was a main reason why I stuck with those colors. “Definitely no red or pinks and very rarely a soft yellow." I made a face.
“Oh? Better sense than I thought. Delia and Sia have no color sense. At least Delia's fur makes it easy. How about prints or material?"
“I dunno about material, but prints aren't too bad if they're not too busy." I said with a shrug. “I already stand out enough, though." I did sigh a bit as I looked around the section: most of this store was lighter or paler clothing (which, with a name like Glacé, didn't surprise me, being 'ice'). Though, I did manage to find some bottoms I liked the color of. It seemed Aelia was taking careful note of what I chose or avoided, too.
“Hmm, you're avoiding shinier fabrics…" I hadn't even noticed, but yeah, those tended to bother me. But I did try on a few pairs of various shades of dark brown and forest green pants; I even sent a few pics to Delia and Zav of a pair I did end up buying (despite the price tag, sheesh; cost more than a whole outfit of my normal wardrobe).
“Where to next?" I asked as we left the store.
“I've got a few ideas, but first… here." She stopped me outside of, well, a lingerie store. I squeaked in surprise: I had been mostly joking with Zav about this.
“What, why?!"
“Because everyone deserves to be comfortable. And if we're going to keep trying on pants or shorts, you should get an idea of just how they fit and how little, or much, they show off." The polar bear pulled my by the hand and I sighed. “Now… any idea what Zav might like?"
“Uh…" Well, I did have a few ideas, but… wait, nope, there was a fetish wear section tucked way behind a wall, out of view of the store's front windows. Apparently Aeltia saw where I looked and she looked… surprised. Sorry Zav. “N-not what we're here to buy!" I put my foot down, literally. Aeltia nodded, though she did point out a few styles that could work. As well as showed me bulk-packs, my saving grace~! To Aeltia's credit, I did feel much more comfortable after changing into newly acquired intersex-made boyshorts and the new pants; I was relieved that they didn't exactly highlight my groin when I tried them on again.
“So… sorry, I know this is private-"
“No, I'm not near what you've might've seen. I mean, I'm a fox and a bunny… size isn't exactly in either species' stereotypes." There were some hung exceptions, of course. Aeltia nodded with a blush; it seemed I'd guessed correctly, though given the conversation, it wasn't hard to imagine that's what she wanted to know about. And seeing the bear blush… well… “Now, Zav on the other paw…" She let out a growl and hip-checked me, maybe harder than she meant to given how much I stumbled. We'd found the food… park? I guess? It was a whole bunch of food trucks that we could get lunch from.
Once we'd gotten our meals (chicken for me and fish for her), we found a place to sit. “In all seriousness, Aeltia, thank you." I said. The bear just nodded, still blushing faintly; I hadn't mean to go that far! “And while I haven't said anything to Zav, you really should. Maybe sooner rather than later if you'd consider cubs; I doubt his parents wanna go through the whole 'hunter' vetting process back-to-back." She nearly choked on her food.
“You'd not be angry?"
“Be a bit hypocritical, really, if I did. I mean… I don't plan on never sleeping with another woman myself." I stuck out my tongue. “And… maybe Delia's rubbed off on me?" Granted, I neglected to mention the specifics of exactly how, but Aeltia got the jest of it. “We're still working out boundaries and such, but I would hate to think you never at least tried. Or knew you could. I can't guarantee he's interested, of course."
“Thanks… Kai." My tail swayed happily when she said my name. “Would you be there?" She muttered quietly.
“If you don't want me to, I won't." I said. I did have… some mixed feelings about that idea. “I mean, I know I'm not everyone's type… actually kinda surprised with how many at the Gaminghouse are chill about it."
“Oh, no, it's not that! It's just m-my interests are…" I tilted my head and she just blushed more, finishing off her sandwich. I then, well… at least it was only a giggle? Once I realized she meant she thought she was pretty kinky.
“Don't worry about that, honestly still exploring a bit ourselves. Not like either of us have had too many opportunities." I said, stretching a bit: well, at least I didn't have to feel all worried about the bear's feelings. Well, I mean, I still did, but I had a better idea of where I stood, at least. I did go to get some shaved ice for us both as an apology for being so blunt, though.
After lunch, it was definitely a lot more of a fun shopping trip, and I did learn some new things. Apparently I preferred linen and hemp? Though I did find leather had a certain thrill to it, particularly when the tops we found seemed to emphasize my smaller chest really well. Delia even sent a soundbite of her murring in response to a few of them; she would've come, but Nsiarina needed her to look over some of her code from the prototypes that had behaved weirdly (of course, a few of mine had too, but they'd not given me as many as they had made themselves). By the time I was back in my room, about to drop, Zav was there with dinner. I wasn't even through showing a third of my purchases before he nearly tackled me onto the bed, either. And I swear he was getting more and more productive; thankfully my body seemed more than willing to keep up and accommodate~.
A couple more days passed before the video call; when the time came, I was sitting on the couch with my tail twitching and flicking about nervously. And not just because our fashion consultant was in town and stopping by to talk with some of the team about something; I was hoping to get a glimpse of this mysterious figure. I'd put on a sleeveless forest green-leather halter that came split just below my breasts and swept around my back and a pair of brown-dyed denim jeans (and it hadn't escaped my notice just how much Zav was eyeing me in this particular outfit; it did emphasize my rear and bust… quite a bit, as meager as the latter was). Though, I did wait offscreen in his kitchen while they chatted for a bit. And… then I heard weirdly familiar voices.
“Uh, hun?" Zav said, looking at me, seemingly just as confused. Which prompted a storm of questions from his parents, and sister.
“Mom, Dad, how, by the gods , are you there too?!" I said, walking behind the couch and looking at the… 5 or so people on the screen. Really just the two I already knew.
“Kai?! Wait, you told us you joined a studio, but we didn't-" My dad was saying.
“We were talking with the Wavepulses about a project." My mother was equally stunned, but she was the more level-headed of the two. I did raise an eyebrow at Zav.
“Just our given surname; our actual one is stupidly long and barely pronounceable." He explained.
“It really is a pain to put on forms," I could only assume his sister was saying. She was an onyx dragoness, though she and her brother did share the same shade of blue; I could just see it as her front-scale color. It was hard to tell on the screen, but I think her eyes were sapphire blue, too. She lacked my partner's fins, though: she seemed to have small horns and a set of dual, blue horns. Somehow, despite her sharper features, she was still… well, cute~
“It is a noble name!" Said the other dragoness on screen. “Wal'laxvinopulrusenodrail (I had to check with Zav, later, how it was spelled) is an ancient clan!" Guessing her to be Zav's mother, I saw where they got their blue coloration from: she was the inverse of her daughter in that her main scales were blue while her front scales were onyx.
“Mel, it really is a mouthful, though." Said the dragon beside her. He was green and white; pretty sure I saw Zav's eyes on him, too.
“What is this project?" I tried to get us back on track.
“Oh! Well, we'd wanted to do something with Omni to potentially make the whole 'hunter' situation moot. Or at least offer an alternative." My dad said. “There's been… some resistance and reluctance. Even with Al." Al was the dragon on mom and dad's original team.
“But we've had enough of them. Even our younger brother is already being targeted by them." His sister snarled. Zav groaned.
“Okay, well first, introductions. This is Kai, and Kai, this is my sister, Lyth," The cute 'ness waved/saluted with her wing. “My mother, Mel and my father Bjorn." And it was was apparently pronounced Bee-jornel. Both of them were looking at me somewhat critically as I joined Zav on the couch, suddenly quite conscious of his wing around me: I saw my father's ears perk and my mother smile.
“It's good to meet you all. And Zav, this is Arnauld and Konane, my father and mother." I said with a sigh. I hadn't even mentally prepared myself for meeting his parents, even virtually, let alone him meeting mine.
“A pleasure to meet you both. I was curious as to why they're here… now… when I said I'd be calling." And so the full story came out: my parents' team had been hoping to… observe and examine a dragon & dragoness and their partners to see just how this 'mythicness' was transferred and what it entailed to synthesize it into it's own product as well as the Omni project. Apparently, his parents were going to ask Zav to find someone or if he knew anyone while my parents were there so they could get a jump-start on that. So… part of this was kinda our fault; we'd decided to let Zav play the call off as just a check-in to try and not make a huge deal about it.
“And why is their daughter with you?" Lyth finally asked, though she seemed to know the answer.
“Well, we've gotten… close." Zav said; I rolled my eyes and (nervously) gave him a kiss, one he just as nervously returned but used his wing to pull me in. “F-fine, fine, yes, we're in a relationship together. Figured it best to call home and give you a heads up." He was looking at me when he said it and I smiled, bumping my nose against him as my tail swayed.
“Don't start, Dad." I said quickly: I knew my dad; he had a minor in genetics for a reason. Even I knew any kits I had would be studied curiously, let alone ones I had by a dragon. And how much I, myself, would be studied. I may have fibbed to Zav a little about how big a deal my parents would make of it, specifically him. Genetics was like one big equation/puzzle to him.
“But-But-"
“She's right, Arnauld." My mother said, squeezing the fox's hand. Apparently hard by the way he strangled a yelp. “And Zav, dear, you're alright with?"
“Quite alright, Ma'am." Zav didn't even need to ask. His parents were continuing to stare at me, though their gazes were… slightly less sharp than before. Lyth did raise an eyebrow. I could tell what she was asking and I was really torn between just saying it or not. “Lyth, mom, dad, relax… though if Kai wants to share?"
“… Ugh, I do… but I'm gonna have to go hide afterwards, so later." Zav chuckled and nuzzled me. “Wait, where are all of you, then?" Zav had said his family lived… sorta close by. As in the same city, even if Saradie was rather large. Zav blinked when he realized what I was asking.
“We were going to surprise you tomorrow, sweetie." My mom said. “But yes, we're in town; our hotel's actually not too far from you. But we're at the Wavepulse's place at the moment."
“And don't give us the 'big project' excuse: you told us you were between them right now." My dad said quickly. I groaned, maybe a bit overdramatically to ease the tension. He wasn't lying, either.
“What about Mana and Sol?" I asked.
“They're hanging out at the hotel; they're old enough now to be unsupervised for a few hours." I did have to remind myself that the twins were nearly thirteen by now. They were kind of the opposite of me: they got mom's pure white coloring and tail while they got Dad's ears and paws. And their full names were Reimana (my brother) and Solyne (my sister).
“It sounds like we should talk in person, then." Zav's father, Bjorn, said.
“We were going to suggest the same, sir." I said. “Zav had mentioned just how… troubled your family has been and we figured it was better for me to meet you before we got… too much closer. I hadn't expected my parents to be there…" I mean, it was a step away from being a formal mate-ship gathering at this point.
“Should we be getting a DJ?" Lyth joked; I was happy she seemed at least chill about this, even if her joke made my fur stand on end.
“N-not quite yet!" Zav said, equally as flustered.
“A cake, too…" His dad said. I pulled Zav's wing around me to hide from the camera. My ears twitched as my phone alerted me and Zav that the fashion consultant was due soon.
“Somewhere to be?" My mom asked; of course she'd pick it up, even as quiet as it was.
“Y-yeah, just a studio meeting." I said, tail twitching a bit. “It's not for another few minutes, though."
“Let's at least pick out a time. I can pick the place later." Mel said; we settled on early afternoon; they'd suggested brunch, but… well, if I wound up in bed with Zav tonight like I did most nights… that would be cutting it a bit close on the whole 'noticabely walking awkward stage' of my mornings lately.
“Hmm… is it alright if we bring a few others? Just co-workers, I promise." I figured it… best to lay all our cards on the table at this point. Zav nuzzled against me lightly and I rubbed his jaw a little, scratching just behind it.
“Del and Alrac?" He asked softly. I nodded against him.
“Sounds like it might just be best to have a picnic or something, then. I wouldn't be surprised if Roln or Wyrn wanted to come." Mel said; I did pull out my phone to check the weather with Zav. And saw a message from my mom: We can explain, if you'd rather not? I knew, immediately, what she meant and, well, the relief made me tear up a little. I just responded Thank you! With a praying bunny sticker and a heart.
“As long as it's somewhere shady, I think. It looks like it'll be hot tomorrow." Zav said. As hot as it was supposed to be, shade wouldn't make a huge difference. “There is Meizi Park and the Pavilion." Well that was a bittersweet name to hear, but I guess the gesture was nice enough (the park's name, not Zav's suggestion, a pavilion sounded nice~).
“That sounds like a plan." Bjorn said; Lyth spoke up, though.
“What's this secret you're hiding, Kai?" She fixed me with a glare that… well… I hadn't expected.
“Lyth, no cop stare!" Zav said.
“It's… I guess it is a secret, but it's not malicious, I swear! Mom'd… probably do a better job of explaining it anyways. Or dad, if you can forgive how he might… get about it and, well, everything. But I'd just be way too flustered talking about it." At least in front of Zav's parents… I did already feel sort of at ease with Lyth (probably helped that, well… let's just say I was thankful for my new underwear). I said, fixing him with my own 'do not make this more awkward than it needs to be' stare. He looked appropriately nervous.
“And we need to get to our meeting anyways." Zav said. “But see you tomorrow!" He cut the call and then we both just… sat there. I could just imagine, though, my mother telling them about me being a hermaphrodite. I whined and buried my muzzle into Zav's chest and felt his wings wrapping around me. I heard his phone alert him to a message. “And… yep, that's my sister." He sighed. “Honestly, though, more worried about Mom. She can get a little uptight about some things."
“And what did Lyth say?"
“'Pics or didn't happen!'" I squeaked at that, though stayed quiet after while getting up and heading for the door. The silence was almost deafening. “I expected an 'oh hell no' or something like that." He was following since we had to go to the meeting together.
“… Don't hate me?" I muttered, not quite able to look at him while we walked. “I mean, on the basis of her being your sister, yeah… don't share that. But… part of me totally acknowledges she's really cute." I heard him chuckle and felt his wing around me. “I assumed she was joking, anyways."
“Probably." He said. “Though, if not… yeah, okay, might not be a good boundary to cross." I could hear the frown in his voice. “Or, at least, I wouldn't want to know about it."
“F-fair. Don't worry, my own thoughts are conflicted on that. So if it's a soft no from both of us, seems like it's a line we shouldn't cross. But… I guess we could ask Delia how best to tastefully show it off. Or maybe this fashion consultant?" I said.
“About that…" He said while he opened the door for me. “Delia sorta had an inkling and an idea-" He was cut off as I was tackled into him, a muzzle pressed up against mine with arms sliding around the base of my neck. My fur stood on end and I yelped at feeling someone… really soft pressing me back against my partner. And, noticeably, there was not a cub filled belly I'd been familiar with being tackle-kissed by. My mind finally registered the snow-white fur of the vixen kissing me with her eyes closed, though I knew if they opened, they would be a pale-silvery blue. Even so, that did not explain why Gwyn was kissing, border-line making out with me!
“Kai, meet Glacé~" I heard a certain husky say, sounding really pleased with herself. Well, that connected the dots. I had tried to look her up, but all the pictures of her was incredibly high fashion and it was hard to tell even what species she was because of it.
My high-school crush broke the kiss and looked at me with a blush. I could only blink for a few moments before she bumped her nose against mine. “Hi." She said softly.
“Hi, uh…"
“Gwyn's fine."
“Gwyn then. And suddenly I'm thinking, or hoping, there's not a meeting."
“Oh, there was~" Delia said. “But it was earlier~" I felt Zav kiss the top of my head; Gwyn blinked and squeaked in surprise.
“S-sorry, sir!" She said when she stepped back.
“No worries, I certainly don't mind Kai leaning against me." He chuckled. “But you can get some alone time if you want?" Gwyn frowned a little, her tail twitching about nervously.
“A-are you sure? I, uh…"
“I kind of guessed this would happen when Delia told me about her plan." My ears twitched and my mind seemed to get jump-started by that and looked back at him. “What? You two were bound to meet eventually, and once Delia confirmed it, figured sooner was better than later. Though the kiss surprised me."
“And I had been so careful to not mention Gwyn's name because I knew that husky would pull something like this."
“Hey, give 'that husky' some credit!" Delia said all pouty, coming over and hugging my arm. “I actually just asked Alrac to ask if Glacé knew anyone who knew the streamer 'Foxtail'." I squeaked… and then remembered one of my really early subscribers.
“Icyfashion?" I huffed. Gwyn squeaked and blushed. For a model/fashionista, she was being really shy. Not that I could blame her, really. I felt like running and hiding myself (partially to keep me from lashing out at Delia in embarrassment-induced anger). “Could've said something."
“By the time I had the time to really sit down and say hi, it just felt awkward!" She whined. “I, uh… actually joined your guild, too." Zav blinked and we both thought through the list of members.
“Oh! DamaskDeLaCryo! I did always wonder why it was 'Damask' and not 'DuMasque" I said. Yeah, okay, I could see it now, sorta: the character was notorious for using heavy armor as a front-liner and ice moves in our battles. I always figured they were a wolf by the tail. And front-liner did fit the Gwyn I remembered. One of the signature ice spells in the game was Ice Mask after all. “Meet LoreMouse," I kissed Zav's chin for emphasis as Delia slipped away.
“No! Seriously? She's so cute in game! Definitely didn't expect…" I was not imagining the purr in her voice, which… wow, my fur was standing on end for a whole different reason. And, well, I thought I had myself under control: suddenly I felt my self grow wet and firmer as blood raced to my groin.
“Can talk about that later, you two should go catch up." Zav said; I whined a little when he motioned for me to lead Gwyn upstairs. He ran his hand along my back. “You can come find me later, hun."
“Alright, if you're sure. I mean… there's tomorrow to sorta plan for." I sighed; most any other day, I would be a lot happier to see Gwyn, but I had a lot on my mind.
“Worrying about it isn't gonna help anything." I had to nod in agreement, taking Gwyn by the hand, then, and escaping upstairs and to my room. Delia tried to follow until Alrac appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, to take the pregnant husky back to their own unit (they lived next door to Zav; thank the gods for tinted windows). I brought Gwyn to my room.
“I'm still sorta moving in, so…" I said. Between all the work coding and then how much time I spent with Zav… my apartment still looked pretty bare. I got some berry sodas for us both, which she accepted with a nod of thanks while I leaned against the kitchenette counter. She stood beside me and I leaned against her… literally. “Hi, by the way. I am ecstatic to see you. Just… got a lot going on right now."
“I can tell~ Nabbed yourself a dragon~" She, of course, knew my preferences, at least for guys. We'd talked enough about guys all through middle and high school. I thought she didn't realize I was equally interested in girls, let alone vixens, but the way she'd kissed me? “And got something planned for tomorrow?"
“Yeah, a picnic/meet the parents/convince his family I'm not just someone 'hunting' him." I sighed; I saw her ears fall back and bumped my hips against her.
“What-?" She nearly jumped out of her fur…. Which I was only now realizing was contained in a cute blouse covering her (bigger than mine, not that that was hard) chest and skirt combo: her blouse was dark navy with silver vines along the sides and her skirt matched the vines.
“I kinda wanna talk about that kiss~" She squeaked.
“S-sorry! I didn't realize you were already so serious-"
“Gwyn, not what I'm talking about." I sighed. “And, yes, I am serious about Zav, but, well… our relationship is still kinda nebulous." I took a drink to steady myself.
“Oh! He knows you're a herm, right?" And promptly spit out some of my soda in surprise before shooting her a look. “Your, uh… scent wasn't exactly subtle around me and a few other girls while we were in season the first couple of times." I groaned a bit. It was pretty polite to not talk about smelling a guy's arousal, guess that extended to intersex. “At least I've assumed herm… I guess intersex, but you were always adamant about not liking the idea of anal."
“Yes, he's very aware I'm a herm. Gods, I just avoided having to talk about this over the vidcall with Zav's family."
“What about yours?"
“Oh they were there, that's how I avoided it." I explained what happened, though Gwyn just started laughing at the start. She knew my parents pretty well, after all.
“Oh wow, your dad's gotta be going nuts." She giggled.
“Don't remind me. I'm hoping my mom can keep him under control." I sighed. “She did offer to explain about the herm thing to them, though."
“Hmm… probably would be easier for them to hear it from a sorta-third party. And definitely easier on you. I just kissed you and you're still trying to wrap your mind around the fact I knew, aren't you?" She knew me way too well.
“And you're deflecting about my question!" I retorted. She squeaked and blushed, but sighed.
“Did I ever date in high school, let alone guys?" I thought back before shaking my head. I hadn't thought it too weird, honestly, given I didn't date either (if you think I'm paranoid about the herm thing now, I was way worse in high school). “I tried when I got to college, but it didn't feel right. And, well, I missed you. Same for when I tried dating girls, though something just felt like it was missing." The vixen said quietly while leaning against me. “And yes, toys did come close, but wasn't quite enough." She muttered. “But with you so serious about Zav, and I would guess Delia…."
“Whoa now, Delia's great, don't get me wrong, but she's way closer to Alrac. I'm more her back-up." I said, half-joking. I knew the husky cared about me and I certainly cared about her. But we both seemed to know we wouldn't move that far beyond being friends-with-benefits (which may or may not include a chance at knocking her up, she still teased me with that).
“What about you?" She looked up at me. That… was a harder question, if I was guessing what she was talking about: her suddenly more serious tone sort of made me think she wasn't talking about Delia.
“… I… ugh. I made myself let go of the idea when you went to another continent. I've regretted that, don't get me wrong." I nosed against her when she frowned. “I had a crush on you since freshman year, but…" Her tail came around and tapped my hip, right by my groin. “Yeah, had no idea how you, or your parents, would react to that."
“Oh, they know, too…" I squeaked and whined. “What else was I supposed to say when I was in season and you wanted to sleepover?" I growled in acceptance of that. “Sorry, though." She sounded sad.
“No, no, it's fine. And, well… probably for the best."
“For the record… it did scare me a little; I did kinda go down a researching rabbit hole. I know, now, that not all herms, or intersex, are hung like horses." She stuck her tongue out heading towards the couch. “But I get it, I guess. If you're not interested, we could still catch up or some-" She squeaked as I near tackled her onto the couch over the arm.
“Oh, I am… though should probably go on a few dates first, if you're sticking around."
“I mean, Glacé is setting up a headquarters here~" She giggled, rolling onto her back. “But you're sure? I mean, I don't want to come between you and Zav."
“You sure? Though… he is a lot to handle." She huffed and blushed at that. She had said she liked dragons, too, but given what she'd said. “No, seriously… we're a package deal, Gwyn."
“O-Oh, no, that's fine! Seriously!" She said. “I said I missed you, not that I was oblivious to others. He's cute~" I stuck my tongue out and smiled. “And I guess Delia can join if she wants." I squeaked and squinted at her, and she blushed. “F-fine, yes, I like a number of partners… so long as my actual partner is there."
“Is that so? You did like being the center of attention, so that does make sense." I sat back and let her up. “Kinda surprised I can't find a clear picture of you on the internet now."
“Air of mystique~ Does wonder for sales. Plus, I design fashion to be art; focus should be on it." She said, pushing me back against the couch now and nuzzling into my neck as she snuggled into me. My legs wrapped around one of hers while my arms slid around her hips. She definitely had more of an hour glass shape than me, though I think my thighs meant I had her beat in the bottom department. “So… what are you up for tonight?"
“I dunno." I said with a sigh. “Most any other night, I would be knot you silly." She squeaked and blushed, nipping at my neck and giggling. “But I do not want our first time together to have a shadow over it."
“And, well… I do go into season in a couple of days… probably shouldn't take the risk." She sighed, her fingers slipping beneath my top and gently rubbing against my breasts, my toes curling and I murred.
“That is not a mark in favor it, no. Or against it." I huffed. She gasped and gave my chest a squeeze, which only made me whine and yelp.
“What, already imagining me heavy with kits?" She gave me a look that I knew was feigned anger.
“I've been imagining that since… Junior year, I think?" I stuck my tongue out. That made her fur turn red and she rested her head against mine.
“R-really? I'm so sorry. I really should've spoken up sooner… I mean, I did figure out senior year you were interested." I shook my head, my nose rubbing against hers.
“Don't be, seriously."
“But I could've stayed here; hell, the university you went to had a fashion program!"
“While that would've been amazing~ I was really happy you got your dream school, Gwyn. And, well, you weren't exactly the only girl I imagined, or have imagined, knocking up." She blinked at that and poked my nose. “No, you're not an aunt… yet."
“Good to know, but still! Wait, yet? Delia?"
“No, though she is constantly teasing me about competing with Alrac when she wants a litter again. I'm… only seventy percent sure she's joking about that. It's definitely more likely that I'm gonna wind up with kits first at this point." She sat up and looked at me, her hand sliding from my chest to my belly with a tilt of it.
“… Why does that excite me?" She huffed.
“Maternity wear designs for herms?"
“Beyond that." She muttered, waving that away. “I mean, that's a given. I'm already designing that in my head." I could feel her claw teasing along my belly. “No dresses still? You didn't even wear one to our school's dances. Or my cousin's wedding."
“Ugh, no… I really feel so weird in them." I whined.
“A bit more of a challenge, then~ But I'm assuming that's why you're meeting with Zav's parents tomorrow?" I blushed but nodded.
“Oh, you should definitely come too~" I murred. She squeaked and her ears fell back. “Unless you'd rather deal with it later?"
“That does feel a bit dishonest, yeah. I barely know Zav." She tilted her head. “Well, as Zav, I guess. He's seriously LoreMouse? Our guildleader?" I sighed and told her… most of the story of when we first met. Including (without details) just why we were so late to log in after the expansion. Normally, we'd both be the first ones on, after all. “Small world." She giggled. “Still, such a cute avatar and he's the player. That's still going to take a bit to wrap my mind around. Granted, Thal was the bigger shock." I tilted my head at that and her ears perked. “Oh, you're gonna love this~" She got up (thank the gods, my sheath felt ready to burst and her weight had felt really good against me). She pulled up an incognito window on my desktop before signing into a site. A webcam site of all things. “I wanna preface this was… mostly for research. So many more body types available here than on model sites or porn. Oh, definitely in for a treat~" She stepped aside.
There, in full HD, was definitely Thal. All of her, in the middle of a very erotic show. The bronze dragoness was on her back in just her scales, a talon on one of… much heavier, shapely breasts than I'd guessed: she was massaging and working it, her tongue teasing against her brown nipple: her front scales were a pale gold, so the little nub stuck out (and no, science never did answer why dragons and other reptile anthros evolved to have milk like mammals). And, with the way she had it set-up, she had a second camera broadcasting on the same stream, this one between her legs, showing what I guessed was a wireless vibe's antenna stuck out of drooling, dark brown folds. She had her talon framing those folds, tugging them apart to put them on display while she worked her talon against her clit idly. As tips came in, her hips bucked slightly and she let out incredibly sensual purrs and moans.
“Whoa."
“Right? And that's without requests or goals. She's got this dragon dildo she'll pound herself with with enough tips. And a gryphon one." My ears twitched at that and I couldn't help but smirk a little. It seemed like Jayadev wasn't totally out of hope. I did wonder if he or Zav knew about this, though.
“Has she ever had guest partners?"
“Nope, why?"
“Oh, Zav told me he's one of the few she calls when she's feeling… particularly needy, I guess? I mean, looks like she knows how to work herself, at least." I chirred, tail swaying a bit while watching. A large tip came in and she let out a roar: I watched as her folds convulsed and her hips bucked and rolled, which only encouraged more tips.
“Probably because they're both dragons." She said, her hand waving in front of my face. That broke me out of watching Zav's neighbor… and I suddenly felt bad about that.
“Ugh, give me a moment." I said, closing the window and grabbing my phone.
“Yeah, it's weird when you know them, huh?" She said.
“At least without her knowing I saw it, or her permission." I sighed. I fired off an apology text about stumbling upon the show. And then, after a few more moments of thinking, fired off another encouraging text to Aeltia. “Still… now I'm going to be thinking about that whenever I'm over there. And whether he knows." I said, looking at the couch… before I moved to the bed and flopped into it. Gwyn joined me and my tail draped over her hips My ears twitched when my phone buzzed with a message already.
“_Enjoy the show~~~?
And yes, Zav knows. It's kind of our dealbreaker.
Jaya doesn't, though; please don't tell him."_
I squeaked at that message, my cheeks burning. Though… yeah, that made sense. Zav definitely would not like being on camera. I didn't mind streaming, but webcamming… yeah, not sure I'm brave enough to do that. I was way too recognizable. I could handle being recognized for streaming, at least.
“What's up?" Gwyn asked after I texted back a few hearts to the dragoness. And then another message came through from Aeltia. Of a chibi bear refusing to do… something. Wasn't a polar bear, but the meaning was clear.
“Well, I think I just made Thal enjoy herself all the more by telling her. And figured out why she and Zav aren't partners." I said. “And… I need to do something, I think." I had a flash of inspiration, one that sent a weird shudder through me. I called Aeltia and put my finger to my lips for Gwyn to be quiet. She just watched, curious.
“Kai, seriously, I'm not ready-" I dropped my voice into my best imitation of sultry, but commanding.
“You are going to go over and tell-" Gods, I hope I'm right about what she was hinting at. “-your potential Master exactly what you have wanted him to do to you for the past couple of years. And tell him that Mistress Foxtail approves… so long as he does not seed your womb. If he says no, do not beg. If he says not tonight, you will try again in three days." I immediately hung up, my cheeks burning as I threw the phone on the bed. Gwyn just stared at me, her muzzle hanging open.
“Where did that come from?!"
“I dunno! Aeltia's had a… lustful crush on Zav for a while. And she was really unphased by looking at fetish-wear at a lingerie store in town. Zav's wanted to try that sort of thing, but neither of us have a whole lot of experience in that." I was talking quickly, staring at my phone. “And I figured it'd be best if we had tonight together, even if it's just cuddling and talking." I suddenly felt Gwyn hug me.
“Do you wanna stop her?"
“No." I didn't even have to think about it. “Weirdly, not at all… I did feel weird at the thought earlier. But I definitely don't now. And wait, what do you mean stop her?"
“I mean, unless that's another really nervous polar bear walking across the courtyard…" I looked down through the window and, indeed, saw Aeltia heading for Zav's place.
“Hmm… maybe because it's your terms?" She slipped behind me, arms crossing beneath my chin and her chest pressing into my back. We watched as Aeltia waited outside Zav's door and then… I didn't notice I held my breath while watching them talk. Predictably, his wings flared in surprise and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and giggle. My phone did buzz a bit and I… just stared at it. And then saw Zav waving his phone toward my window while Gwyn got mine and handed it to me.
“Mistress Foxtail, really~?" I rolled my eyes and sent him a sticker of a bun sticking her tongue out while blushing. “And no… 'seeding her womb?'"
“I figured you might want to practice~ Or at least figure out if you like that sort of thing first~ That is a hard rule, though, love." I sent back.
“And if I'm not in the mood?"
“Ask her~" Gwyn was reading the messages, giggling a little. I scratched behind her ears, something I knew she liked.
“*sigh*" “Whoa, he actually wrote that~" Gwyn giggled. “Love you, hun, and have fun~ I'm not up for it tonight, but… maybe then."
“How maybe?"
“… … Probably. Yeah, she should come tomorrow. What about Gwyn, was it?" “I'll be there," She sighed. “Of course explaining it's just a possibility."
“She's in, too~ But we'll probably just snuggle to sleep tonight. She did show me something interesting, though, about your upstairs neighbor~"
“You sure?"
“Yeah, I'm sure." I kissed the vixen, hugging around her waist. “Assuming you want to stay over?"
“It's… a little risky, admittedly. I'm not exactly the most regular with my seasons, so it could start a bit early."
“So I didn't just imagine that!" I yipped, poking at her belly. She squeaked and huffed. “And didn't answer the question." She seemed to think for a moment before she got up from the bed. I flopped back down onto my back on the bed, staring at the flat ceiling. I really should do something with that (though, honestly, just moving in with Zav had it's own appeal, too). I waited to hear the door close when suddenly I felt weight on my bed and hands working on my pants: I looked down to see a moonlight-highlighted, nude, white-furred vixen working them open and off of me. She hmmed as she looked at my underwear and then sighed.
“Best keep those on, I think." She trailed her finger along my belly. “I'm already way too curious for my own good, I think, risking waking up with the urge to have your kits~" I let out a small bark.
“You wake up in that state and you might just get them." I warned, tail flicking. She blushed, but nodded as she pulled my top off of me. I raised my eyebrow at that and she huffed.
“What? I've really missed you. And, well, we'd probably have kits eventually, anyways." She laid down beside me. I couldn't help but smile and pull my best friend in for a deep kiss. Luckily (though, admittedly, I was a little disappointed, much to Gwyn's amusement), when we woke up the next morning, she hadn't gone into heat. We did wake up with a dragon wing draped around us, though, and me squeezed in the middle.
