Caelia was sitting down outside in the warm sun, watching the holo-player Marcus had left her before he left. She was watching the old Cannonball run movie, the second movie. Back then they did real stunts, not all CGI and fake tricks, back in 2066 they changed that, they did real stunts mixed with CGI and other stuff that made the movies better. She was at the part where J.J just got inside the bomb and was going to have it dropped and hit a target. She was still a little upset that Marcus was not here, but she knew he was going to come back, she just hoped it would be very soon.
"Hey Caelia," Cynder called out as she ran towards her, Caelia paused the player and looked up to see Cynder, "You want to play a game with us?"
Caelia smiled, "Sure what kind of game?"
"A game of catch the dragonfly, Sparx is bored and decided to see if we wanted to play."
Cynder motioned for Caelia to follow; she got up and followed her. They stopped in a small clearing, near a large pond; Spyro was sitting there waiting for them.

"Are you crazy," Marcus cried, "breaking into the Space station was suicide!" The VTOL banked low to the left, ten feet above the tree line, nearly hitting it.
"Brother it was the only way! We had to see what we were up against if they ever attacked us again!" Conway back talked.
"That doesn't matter, you could have been killed."
"What about you! You went off in that war!"
"Yea I know! I but that doesn't matter, what matters is you. You blindly and stupidly blast you're way in and think they wont see you coming? You got lucky that you found that teleporter that brought you here or you would be dead." Marcus was starting to calm down, "If I find out you do something that stupid again, I'm going to beat the shit out of you."
"I know that," Conway said calmly, he knew he was in trouble, Marcus was the old brother here, and Conway was a month younger. His brother knew way more than he did, since his brother was in a higher ranking and level than he was, he did a lot of covert or deadly missions. Conway on the other hand was still green.
"So, Conway is your brother?" Jerin asked, "I don't see any resemblance."
"We aren't flesh and blood, we are adopted brothers," Marcus sighed, "but he is still my brother, even if he isn't a brother by blood."
"I still don't get it how can you're parents be what you said they were? Aren't they dead!?" Conway asked,

"Ow, come on let me go now you got me!" Sparx groaned, Caelia laughed and let him go. He immediately took off, zipping around all three dragons; Spyro put his left wing out as Sparx came around for another pass. FUMP, Sparx flew head first into Spyros wing, he fell back onto the ground with a dazed look on his face.
"Nice one Spyro." Cynder smiled, she dove for Sparx who just manage to get out of the way in time as Caelia and Cynder collided with one another...
"OW..." Caelia groan, "Get off me."
"Sorry," Cynder said as she got off of her, Caelia spit out a mouth full of grass, and made a sound of disgust at the taste of the grass.
"Ugh... tastes nasty!"

CLANG!
"What the heck was that?" Marcus asked in an unsure tone. It seemed to shock everyone but the Clyde and his friends.
"This thing is older than slag; we hit something on the way.....thanks to Jones." Clyde smirked, looking through the opened door to the cockpit.
"HEY," Jones yelled back, "Wasn't my fault that the Mono-system on this bucket of bolts isn't working as well as it used to!" The VTOL strained as it increased speed, the Mono-system computer was dying.
"Uh....jones you know you can fly with out the Mono-system on? Just turn it off, and you'll be fine. You won't have all the complex controls to use just the basic..."
"Really," jones mused, "I thought without it you would crash..."
"Nope I have done it, in my Swordfish II, old Mono-racer." Marcus reassured, Jones shut it down and the sounds stop...it was flying normal now. "Just be careful if you go into space without it, trying to reenter isn't as easy."
"We are close to the LZ now," Sadie said to the passengers, "ETA five minutes." Marcus was jittery he could hardly wait to see his 'Real Parents' face to face. He knew they would be overjoyed to see him.
Jerin yawned, and laid her head against Marcus's shoulder, snuggling up close and closing her eyes. There was a soft chuckle coming from Clyde who looked at Jerin.
"You ok Jerin?" Marcus asked as he looked at her.
"Hmm? Yes...just get bored with these flights. They never do anything fun when I'm in it."
"Tell me about it....," he mumbled, "I could fly better in my sleep." That made her giggle softly; she leaned close to his ear and whispers something to him. His face grew hot, and he started to smirk a bit. "You're...very...naughty..." he whispered to her and kissed her on the cheek.
"Oh....what are you two saying," Carla laughed, it made both Jerin and Marcus blush, Conway raised an eyebrow, wondering what they were saying. Jerin lean forward and whispered it to Carla who grew red faced very quickly. "Well, I hope you two have fun."
"What is...going on with you two?" Conway said in a suspicious tone, a grin on his face. He knew what was going on. The couple didn't care if they knew; they were madly in love and didn't give a fuck about any ones two-cents.
"You don't need to know Conway." Jerin smiled evilly, pulled Marcus into a long kiss.
"Oh jeez..." groan Conway "Do you to have to do that in front of me that is a little disturbing..." that was not a good thing to say, Marcus broke the kiss and turned to Conway and said...
"Does it really look disturbing or are you just jealous...she is mine, get your own lover." Marcus smirked, and then burst out laughing as Conway flushed heavily, so he was jealous. Jerin hugged Marcus close, nuzzling him happily.
"Will you two love birds knock it off," Johnson grunted, very jealous at the two.
The VTOL slowed down dramatically as it approached the Albatross.
"Ok, get ready for landing," Sadie called back to then passengers, "It's going to be a little bumpy, the vertical landing repulsers are starting to fail...brace for it." Marcus slide the arm bands on and wrapped an arm around Jerin to hold her in place as the VTOL landed. It touched down with a TUMP as the hydraulic legs compressed to absorb the weight of the ship.
"Have they landed yet?" Leon asked as he watched outside the view port of the control room, he couldn't see they once they entered the hanger.
"Yes," Lara said as she focused on the camera screen with glittering sapphire eye. "We have waited so long to see our son." Twenty-three years of never being able to see my son, Marcus, I can't wait to see him. She could barely contain herself, when she saw the ship land in the hanger she near jump into the air and screamed for joy.
"Come on, let's go meet them, I can barely contain myself." Leon said in an anxious tone. They hurried down to the hanger, nearly plowing three people into the ground on the way there.
They walked into one of the aging turbolifts, Leon pressed the button but nothing happened, "Come on you piece of shit," he grunted, Lara lifted up her hand and punched the control board. It instantly responded, the lift lurched as it blasted its way down the long shaft...to the hanger many levels below.
"Nice one hun," Leon chuckled; Lara gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. The when down....and down...and down. Cool air flowed around them as the lift plummeted through the tunnel, they caught spilt second views of everyone on the levels, whether it be relaxing, fixing their guns or doing basic things. Today was an off day like every other day, not much was going on. Until now that is...
"Wow-holly-th-this is amazing!" Conway blurted out in pure awe; in all his years of being alive he had always dreamed of setting foot on the legendary Albatross. He never thought he would see it let alone be inside it. This was one of the best moments of his life.
"WOW....wait!" Cried Carla, "Didn't the Albatross blow up!? I was told that it blew up!" that got a bunch of weird looks thrown towards her.
"Uh.... If it blew up why would it be here?" Jerin said in a serious tone, the hanger was bustling with activity, a few ships coming in and out. Dropping off fresh supplies, or wreck ships, that were used for parts and repairs to the huge ship itself, which was quite massive. Many ships were scattered around, unmoving as they were being repaired; all of them had burn marks all over them.
As they looked around two people started to approach that Marcus recognized, a large blue dragon and a 5ft 10 human with brownish-yellow hair, his real parents who he had always wanted to meet. Now he was going to, he knew that they were his real parents. They hadn't lied; he could see and tell by the tone of their voice and the looks of their eyes. They stopped four feet apart...
"I can't believe it," Marcus breathed out in pure awe, "My whole life I wanted to find you two...."
"We know how you feel," Lara said, "We felt horrible when we had to send you away. It is so good to see my son again." Marcus blushed a bit, that got a laugh out of Lara. She stepped forward and gave him a big hug; he was some pounding softly on her side to tell her to loosen up because he couldn't breathe. "Oh, sorry dear!" she exclaimed and stopped hugging him; he gasped for air for a second before he felt like he wasn't going to die from death from hugging by his mom. "It's just I have waited so long to see you again, we didn't think we would ever see you again."
Leon came forward and gave Marcus a hug too, and broke it with a happy laugh, "I am so glad to have you back my son, if not for that damned war you would have grown up with us."
Jerin saw Marcus with talking with his parents, a very happy smile on his face; she turned and headed in their direction.
"So what was it that you wanted me here for?" Marcus asked as he looked up at his mother, still amazed he came from such a beautiful creature.
"We wanted you here to help us in stopping the dark lord from coming back, but for the most part we wanted you here with us." Lara said with a happy smile. "Oh... hey Jerin...good to see you back with us again." Lara said as Jerin approached behind Marcus.
Lara noticed a few cut marks on her skin and asked how she got them.
"I was ambushed by some Orcs, I would have died if Marcus hadn't saved me....i owe him for saving my life." She said as she looked at Marcus and smiled softly, she couldn't wait to get him in her room later tonight.
Leon knew by the way she was looking at Marcus she was in love with him and the same with Marcus. He had met Lara in the same way but he was the one that was ambushed, he was nearly dead when she saved him. Even Lara knew that they were in love with each other.
"Hey who are these two?" Conway asked as he and his team appeared behind Marcus.
"Conway, this is my mother and father, mom dad I would like you to meet my adopted brother Conway."
"Huh," Leon smiled, "So Bob and Helena adopted you too, too bad that they were such babies at wanting to have their own flesh and blood kids. " Lara looked Conway over; he backed away a bit afraid that she was going to eat him.
"Relax," Lara said, "I'm not going to eat you...your kind is too stringy...and doesn't taste all that good." She said joking all the way, she tried to suppress a laugh when she saw the look of fear on his face but calmed down when she told him she was joking. He had taken it a little too seriously.
Leon chuckled slightly, "Let's take this to a more quite place."
"Yea, it's a little load here,"
***
"Wow...." Marcus gasped as he looked out the view port, the ship was massive! It was over a mile and a half long! And half a mile wide! The ship was hovering five stories in the air, half over the sea of the crystal gem. And half over land, a few trees licked at the bottom of the ship. "This is an amazing view."
"Yea," Lara said, "It is.....hey....wait, where is your friend at?!"
"Huh? Oh, Caelia she is with the guardians at the Dragon temple. Don't worry she is ok, she can take care of herself." That didn't seem to sit well with her.
"She should be with you! Did you forget what we told you on the recording?!"
"Uh....the thing cut out before you got to it and....it seems great grandpa show up at the right time and told me everything." Marcus said a little worried at how she was reacting. "Listen, I couldn't take her with, Jerin said it was too dangerous and it was. I nearly died in the forest from a dead drop trap and almost got skewered in the cave tunnel also!"
Lara growled slightly but quickly calmed down, "Sorry, just be under a lot of stress with all the bullshit missions Commander Rykov sends us one." Marcus understood pretty well, bullshit missions were none to common with him.
"If I have a dollar for all the bullshit missions I have been on," he started, "I would have fifty dollars." They all had a good laugh at that, and started right off talking about what was going on. The full details not the edge of the cake, the full details.
Leon took a long drink on his water, "The Dark Overlord is one mean son-of-a-bitch, he is a dark, and a very, very old dragon. That wants control of the dragon realms; he will kill or corrupt anyone that stands in his way. But he tries to corrupt most of the time and succeeds most of the time. Word has it he is trying to come back, but is having a hard time since we keep stopping his men. But we are having trouble."
"How?" Marcus asked
"We are finding it harder to find where they are at now. We have destroyed the places they went to try to bring him back but know are somewhere in the uncharted realms."
"And...you're having trouble going out there?"
"Yes," Lara said, "We can't go out too far, not with encountering problems and other things."
"And....let me guess, you need me to go check it out?"
Leon smiled, "No, we don't. It's just the time of year when it's dangerous out there. Nearly lost four ships out ther--"
Lara stopped him, "Leon why don't we forget about that and focus on spending time with our son? I mean we have a while before we have to get on that task" he smiled and agreed, he felt foolish for getting on task with a mission while his son who had just arrived in this world not long ago.
Leon grunted slightly, "Sorry dear, it's just that it's been biting us all in the ass and I want to get it over with." Lara snorted slightly, amused. The fight was eating away at everyone, they wanted to find them and carpet bomb the enemy to dust, but couldn't risk the lives of innocents, not like last time. The war had taken to many lives and they didn't want to risk any without a just reason and even then didn't want to.
They spent the better part of the day catching up on all the lost time they had. Marcus was overjoyed to finally be with his real family, out of any where he had been he felt that he belonged here and he was right. When he was back on earth and with the others he didn't feel right there, like he didn't fit in or belong and for years sought to find the place where he belonged. And now he had found it. He also found out he was more dragon than human, ninety percent to be exact. There were easy details that gave it away, strength, speed, extremely strong sense of smell. Some of the changes had already happened, they said he would soon be able to shift forms from a human into a dragon. One of the changes happened when they were talking.
His eye sight became clearer, was more detailed and stretched farther than any normal human, he now had dragon eyes. Although they still retained a bit of their human form.
"So tell me," Marcus began as he looked around with his new eyes, "How do I turn into a dragon, is it a permanent change?" Lara shook her head.
"No it isn't like that, not from what I have seen, you will still be able to turn back into a human if you wish. You still have a bit to go, if your powers haven't activated yet it will be a few months."
Marcus took a drink of water, "Uh...well my powers have already activated. So I am still a ways away, right?" That surprised Lara and Leon a lot; he powers were active and quiet powerful.
"Then you have at least five months or so until you can. Only children that are born from the ancient ones, like me, can turn into a dragon. I don't get why the others can't?" that problem still hadn't been solved yet, but they may never find out why they can't. Might be because she was an older breed of dragon and the others were a still newer breed. But she mentally shrugged it off and looked outside to see that it was really late in the day.
"Oh, damn I didn't know that it was that late." She sighed, it was getting dark outside.
The external lights were on low, illuminating the ground below, a large camp under the ship. It was a trading post, a heaven to those who need protection. And a home to many, and now this place was his home too.
Leon looked at his wrist-chrono, it read six pm, "wow I didn't think it was six already," Marcus was also surprised; they had spent at least a few hours talking and catching up on time. "I think we are done for now, it was great to finally spent time with you. I know Jerin is waiting for you down below, I wouldn't keep her waiting." He said with a sly smiled, Lara jabbed him in the side making him jump.
"Uh...yea," Marcus mumbled sheepishly, "right, I didn't think you noticed that."
Lara smirked, "We noticed quite easily, after twenty three years of seeing love struck humans and dragons together."
"Go on Marcus, we don't want to have her wait any longer, dragons tend to get a little impatient when they are having to a long time." Leon said in a happy tone, Marcus walked into the lift. Said his good byes and activated the lift. There was a loud hiss as the lift started to drop then plunged downward at an incredible speed.
Marcus let out a giddy laugh as he felt near weightlessness as the lift sailed downward towards the hanger bay. I can't believe they noticed that me and Jerin were in love so fast? They knew the instant they saw you, twenty three years of seeing dragons and humans in love.
He began to think about how wonderful it was to finally be in a place where he was meant to be. The place he was born in....and was meant to live in but had to be taken away for his own safety.
Cool air swirled around as the lift went down; he caught quick glimpses of the levels that streaked by in a blur of colors, sounds and smells.
Down in the hanger bay...Jerin was starting to get impatient with waiting, it had been hours and she was getting tired of waiting. Will they hurry up, it's not like I have anything better to do then sit and twiddle my thumbs.....she huffed and scratched at an itchy patch of scales as she waited for him.
Suddenly there was a pop-hiss as the lift can to a stop, she got up and waited for the door to open. When it did she was greeted by Marcus who gave her a happy hug.
"What took you so long?" She asked softly as they walked around the hanger bay.
"We had some catching up to do..." he continued, "Oh...and they know we are together now." Jerin was surprised; they were always too smart for their own good. She told him that they knew a lot and were the leaders of the ship since the original leaders resigned leadership to them....he could see why. They had a strong air of leadership.
"Come on, its late we should get some rest," Jerin yawned, "my home isn't far from here, it will be a small walk."
