In a world where predator and prey collide, Liora awakens transformed, igniting desires she never knew existed in her old life. With Kael by her side, will they embrace their bond or be consumed by their instincts?

Surround the small cottage, the night was still, the only sounds being the soft crackling of the fire and occasional rustle of wind through the trees. Inside the warm cabin, Liora lay on the bed, an open book beside her, forgotten, her gaze fixed on Kael as he knelt by the hearth, tending to the flames. The glow of the fire played off the muscular lines of his body, casting shadows across his dark grey fur.

Tonight, it wasn't just the silence that weighed between them; it was the history they shared, the moment that had changed everything. The night Kael had almost killed her.

*

Liora's eyes traced his broad back, the memory of that night playing vividly in her mind. Her heart beat a little faster, not from fear, but from the quiet understanding of how close she had come to death at his paws and fangs—and how everything had shifted in the instant he chose mercy over instinct.

“Kael,” she called softly, breaking the silence between them.

He froze, his paw stilling over the poker. His back tensed, but he didn't turn right away. “Yes?” His voice was quiet, but she could hear the emotion woven through it—remorse, guilt, and something else. Something that had bound them ever since that fateful night.

“Do you ever think about it?” Liora's voice was gentle, not accusatory, but filled with the same quiet intensity that had stopped him all those moons ago. Her emerald eyes followed the line of his broad shoulders, the tension in his muscles as he stood frozen by the fire.

Kael finally turned, his amber eyes meeting hers. There was a weight in his gaze, the weight of memories neither of them could escape. He took a few hesitant steps toward her, each movement heavy with the unspoken truth.

“I think about it every day,” he admitted, his voice thick with emotion. “That night... I almost devoured you.” His words were raw, as though they had been clawing at him from the inside. He could still feel the adrenaline of the hunt, the sound of her hooves on the forest floor, the way her scent had filled his senses, driving him to the edge of his primal instincts.

Liora sat up slowly, her grey hair falling over her bare shoulders as she met his gaze, the intensity between them building. “But you didn't,” she whispered, then unconsciously, reached up to touch her throat.

Kael's fists clenched at his sides. His amber eyes darkened with the weight of his guilt. “I was going to,” he rasped. “You were beneath me, Liora. A feral doe, I had you pinned. My jaws were around your throat, ready to end it. I felt your pulse beneath my teeth.” He stopped, his breath hitching as the memory overwhelmed him. “You were mine, first I would have...”

Liora's eyes widened slightly, the unspoken words planting seeds in her young mind, that grew bitter fruit.

“You were mine to kill, and I couldn't do it.” he managed to get out, before he looked away, afraid to meet her eyes, at what he'd almost said.

What I almost did to an innocent, wild doe... He thought bitterly.

Liora's gaze softened as she stood from the bed, clothed in only her white spotted fur, the firelight casting a golden glow across her lithe, tawny frame. She took slow steps towards him on two cloven hooves, her eyes never leaving his. “Why?” she asked softly. “What stopped you?”

Kael's eyes fell to the floor as he struggled to find the words. He remembered the way that doe, Liora, had looked up at him, her eyes wide and filled with terror, her body still as the stone beneath him, her soft form caught in the grip of a predator who had every intention of doing something unspeakable, claiming her, breaking her, before he'd have ended her life. She had been resigned to her fate, accepting that she was prey, submissive, and weak. He was the predator, dominant, strong...but then, in her eyes—he had seen something he hadn't expected.

“Your eyes,” Kael whispered, his voice hoarse. “There was something in your eyes... A will to live. A defiance I had never seen in prey before.” He looked up, his amber gaze meeting hers. “I couldn't do it, Liora. I couldn't kill you...so I...”

Liora stopped just in front of him, her heart pounding in her chest. She remembered that moment too, the crushing weight of his powerful body, his jaws pressing against her throat. She had been ready to die, but in that final moment, something in her had fought back—not physically, but with her gaze, her defiance and her will to live.

“I thought you'd run,” Kael continued, his voice thick with emotion. “But you didn't. You just laid there, looking up at me, as if you'd accepted your fate. There was something else in your eyes... something that made me stop.”

Liora reached out, her pale hands resting gently on his arm, her touch soft and warm. She could feel the tension coursing through his body, the struggle he still carried within him. “You could have killed me, Kael,” she said quietly, her voice soothing and calming. “But you did not. Instead... you gave me a gift.”

Kael turned away, his eyes closing as the weight of remorse pressed down on him. “I shouldn't have done that,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “I'm a predator, Liora. I hunt, I kill. That's what I do. But you...” His voice broke, and he shook his head. “I couldn't kill you.”

Liora's heart swelled at his words, understanding the depth of his conflict. She stepped closer, her naked body now pressed against his strong back. She slid her arms around his waist, her hands resting on his chest as she leaned her head against him, her grey hair cascading down his shoulders.

“You spared me,” she whispered, her breath warm against his fur. “You showed me mercy, Kael. You let me live...and made me what I am.”

Kael's low whine escaped his lips, his ears flattening against his skull in guilt and shame. He stood frozen, his mind swirling with emotions he had tried so hard to bury. He could feel the softness of her body against his, the gentleness of her embrace. “I could have killed you...” he repeated, his voice filled with regret. “Now you're like me...a monster.”

Liora's hands moved gently across his chest, her touch soothing and tender. “You're not a monster, and you could have,” she agreed softly. “But you didn't, my wolf.”

Her words were like a balm to his soul, easing the burden of guilt he'd carried for so long. He turned his head slightly, looking back at her with eyes full of vulnerability. “Why didn't you run?” he asked, his voice barely a whisper. “Why did you stay?”

Liora's lips curved into a gentle smile, her fingers tracing the line of his jaw as she gazed into his eyes. “Because I saw something in you, Kael. Something more than the predator who hunted me. I saw the man beneath the wolf.” She leaned closer, then crept up on to the tips of her cloven hooves, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered. “Because I knew you wouldn't kill me. Not then. Not ever.”

Kael's heart swelled at her words, his chest tightening with the intensity of his emotions. He turned fully to face her, his hands resting on her hips as he gazed down at her with a mixture of awe and affection. “I've never felt this way before, Liora,” he admitted, his voice trembling slightly. “I've never wanted to protect someone so fiercely...someone who I never imagined, would become my mate.”

Liora's hand came up to cup his cheek, her voice tender as she looked up at him with soft, glowing eyes. “And I've never trusted anyone like I trust you, Kael. You're not just my wolf... you're my protector, my mate.”

Kael's breath caught in his throat at her words, and for a moment, all the guilt, all the doubt melted away. In its place was something deeper, something that had been growing between them every since that night. It was more than just attraction, more than just a bond forged in the heat of a hunt. It was love—raw, untamed, and deniable.

*

Their shared history, born from the wildness of the forest and the tension between predator and prey, had transformed into something more powerful than either could have imagined. Now, as they stood together in the warmth of the cabin, their connection deepened, bound by the memory of a night when life and death had hung in the balance.

*

Kael's steps were measured but deliberate as he approached her, the space between them shrinking with each step. The fire's glow danced on his dark fur, his amber eyes gleaming with something primal, yet tempered by his devotion to her. Liora's breath hitched, a spark of anticipation tightening her chest. When he reached her, his hands moved with surprising gentleness, fingers brushing against her fur with a reverence that contradicted the hunger in his gaze. He leaned in, his breath warm against her ear as his palm pressed softly to her wrists, guiding them above her head. The world around them seemed to still, and for a heartbeat, time itself slowed. His other hand traced her jawline with a single claw, the touch sending shivers down her spine as her body responded, not with submission, but with desire.

Kael's voice trembled, raw with the weight of his regret. “I still see it... that night. My teeth are around your throat. I could've ended it, but I... stopped. Now—now I can't forgive myself.”

His free paw clenched into a fist, his one holding her wrists tightened, until a low gasp from Liora parted her lips. “Kael?” Liora murmured, growing a little more afraid before she swallowed and gazed into his amber eyes with a look of trust and love. “You stopped,” she whispered, her voice calming him. “I long ago forgave you my wolf. You didn't take my life, Kael. You gave me a new one. For that... I am grateful.”

Kael shuddered, his breathing unsteady. “I was afraid of what I'd become,” he murmured, his voice breaking. “But when you look at me like this, I feel... like maybe I'm more than just a predator.”

Liora's lips curved in a soft smile, before she moved her head forwards, licking his nose playfully, her heartbeat quickening. “You are,” she whispered, pressing her forehead gently against his. “You're more than you know.”

Kael's breath hitched as her hands slid up his chest, her touch soothing and electrifying. She leaned closer, her lips ghosting over his neck, and he shivered beneath her gentle caress.

“Liora...” he breathed, his voice quiet, eyes widening.

She pulled her head back just enough to meet his gaze, her eyes glowing with warmth. “Kael? You don't have to be afraid anymore, I want this, I want you.”

Kael's amber eyes darkened, but not with guilt or fear this time, but with something deeper, more primal, though tempered with tenderness. He lowered his head, brushing his nose against hers, inhaling her scent—the pheromones that sent his senses reeling.

“Are you sure?” he asked softly, his voice trembling with emotion.

Liora nodded, her gaze unwavering. “Yes. I've never been more sure of anything.”

Kael released her wrists and stepped back, his breath uneven. His heart urged him to stay close, but his mind whispered he was a monster, unworthy of her touch. Liora watched him, her eyes soft with understanding and compassion.

“I know what you're thinking,” she said gently, lifting his chin with a tender touch, and guiding his eyes back to hers. “You're not a monster, Kael. You're the wolf who spared me.”

His fingers hovered over her fur, hesitant, as if she might shatter beneath his touch. Where he lingered, her skin burned with warmth, anticipation coursing through her, heightening her desire. She leaned closer, her breaths shallow, silently asking him to understand. This was what she wanted too.

“I was ready to die, Kael,” Liora whispered, her lips brushing his ear. “But you gave me a new life instead. We both changed that night, not just you.” She pulled back slightly, her fingers resting against his chest. “Let go of the past. I want this. I want you.”

Kael's hands stilled at her sides, his breath hot against her fur. “Liora,” he murmured, uncertainty thick in his voice. “Are you... are you sure?”

Liora smiled softly, her hands sliding down to cup his sheath, giving it a light caress gently. “I've never been more sure. Becoming what I am—it changed me. You don't have to hold back anymore.”

He twitched and let out a quiet grunt, gently removing her hands from his firming sheath. Holding her hand in his larger paw, he placed it over his chest, letting her feel his rapid heartbeat.

“You're not a bitch wolf,” he said quietly, a slight smile tugging at his lips. “You're a doe. And for that, of course, I need to hold myself back—for your comfort, and your safety. They mean everything to me.”

Kael's amber eyes darkened with desire, and he leaned closer, brushing his fingers along Liora's soft fur, tracing the contours of her body as if committing every inch to memory. Each caress sent shivers of warmth cascading over her, and she leaned into him, inviting his touch as she sighed softly, her diamond-shaped tail flagging.

“You're sure you want this...me...” he growled, his lips brushing against her neck.

Liora squirmed, her trembling hands encouragingly patting his back. “Yes. I've never been more certain, claim me, my wolf, show me what our mating bond means, make me believe you.”

In that moment, their breaths synchronised, creating an intimate rhythm that pulsed in the air between them. Kael's fingers trailed to the nape of her neck, where he pressed soft kisses on the side of her throat, his fangs delicately pricking the fur and skin. Liora closed her eyes, lost in the sensations, her heart racing as he nuzzled her, his warm breath tickling her fur.

“Kael,” she breathed, her voice a mix of excitement and nervousness. She pressed closer, their lips almost touching, the anticipation rising within her.

He hesitated, something in her scent, as he pulled his head back, catching a glimpse of vulnerability in her eyes.

“You're not a monster,” she reassured him, placing a gentle finger lightly on his firming length. “This thing is...”

Kael's breath hitched, and he let his fingers brush against her breasts, his thumb paw pad teasingly circling and rubbing her nipples until they stood firm and erect. Liora gurgled and tilted her head back, her body quivering, surrendering herself to her lover completely.

With a sudden surge of desire, Kael's hands gripped the thighs of the elk doe, Liora, lifting her effortlessly off the ground. Liora gasped, her laughter turning into a breathless giggle as he pressed her against the wall, her elk-like grace momentarily lost in his powerful embrace. His strength and dominance enveloped her completely. Her head tilted back, exposing the delicate curve of her neck and she bleated softly, this time from exhilaration and anticipation.

“Kael...” she gasped, the thrill of the moment sending a rush of heat through her.

With a firm yet gentle motion, he mounted her, feeling how her folds squeezed and rippled against his large, throbbing length. He held her securely against the wall with his strong arms under her thighs. The world around them faded as they locked eyes, both aware they were about to embark on a journey that would leave Liora sweat-slick and exhausted.

“Liora,” Kael grunted, feeling the ache in his groin as his knot pressed against her increasingly slick folds, his thrusts gentle but filled with longing. “I don't want...”

Liora shuddered, caught between helplessness and surrender. There was fear in how completely he enveloped her, but it was matched by an undeniable need to give herself over to him. She glanced down into his eyes, determination igniting within her as she placed her paws on his hips and thrust herself against him. For a moment, she trembled, panting as the fullness overwhelmed her—then he lifted her slightly higher, and with a soft gasp, she fully accepted him, her slick folds squeezed tight around his knot, the warmth of her body surrounding him, drawing out a growl that reverberated through his chest and into hers.

Liora bleated, squirming in his grasp. Discomfort lanced through her, but after a dozen shuddering breaths, she let out a nervous giggle as his broad tongue licked away the salty tears from her cheeks.

“Silly doe,” he mock-growled, pulling her close, stroking her ears with gentle affection, his knot swelling to tie them together. “You're not a bitch wolf...”

Kael's body trembled as he pressed against her, the heat of his breath on her neck sending shivers down her spine. The moment felt suspended, raw and vulnerable, a fragile balance of primal need and something far deeper. His growl was low, but it carried an edge of tenderness that he couldn't hide.

Liora's back arched instinctively, her fingers tangling in his fur, desperate to hold onto something. Anything. “Kael,” she whispered, her voice breathless. “I've always belonged to you,” she whispered, her voice hitching as her body responded to his touch. “but every time you take me, it feels like the first.”

Kael's gaze darkened as her words cut through the haze of desire, grounding him in something real. His knot swelled, the sensation locking them together as a surge of protectiveness welled up inside him. He held her tighter, their bodies pressed close, every breath they shared deepening the connection between them.

He snickered, lipping and nipping tenderly at her throat, feeling the heat of her depths inflaming his almost bestial passion and desires. “Like you... oh...oh. no... don't... don't do... that...”

Liora's hot breath washed over his shoulder, as she giggled, her vaginal muscles rippling and squeezing randomly from behind the knot to the hyper-sensitive wolf-penis tip. “What...” Liora gasped and squirmed. “This?

Her rippling intensified, sorely testing his human-like resolve, his wolfish nature savouring and loving this dominant side of his mate.

Liora, please...” He grunted, holding her tight and struggling to stop the urges that boiled within him like a hot spring.

The air around them thickened with an almost feral tension, each shared breath igniting their primal instincts. Kael's powerful grip on her thighs anchored her against the wall, whilst he began to thrust as best he could within her, the slightest movement heightening the incredible pleasures he felt.

Liora trembled and bleated, every brush of his fur, every breath, every twitch of that intensely thick wolf penis inside her, sending jolt after jolt of heat and arousal surging through her until she was breathless and starting to sweat.

“Kael,” she wheezed, her tail slapping back and forth against the timber log wall, her voice thick with lust and longing. “I want you... all of you.”

Her words, and the powerful vaginal contractions, stirred something deep within him, a yearning that eclipsed all doubt. He captured her lips in a searing kiss, their mouths moving together in a dance of passion and desperation. Liora responded eagerly, her tongue brushing against his, inviting him deeper into her muzzle—and her depths.

As their kiss deepened, Liora began to twitch helplessly. Kael stared into her eyes, watching them widen in ecstasy before her muffled squeal burst from her lips in a violent exhalation. He felt her body convulse against his, his thrusts pushing forward, edging deeper as her climax ravaged her. He crushed her tight, pinning her to the wall, grunting as he released his seed, slick spurts pulsing into her womb again and again, their climaxes colliding in an intense, passionate union.

“Mmmph!” Liora gurgled, her lips still trapped by his.

His tongue squirmed and explored her mouth, tickling the back of her throat with his broad, lustful strokes. Holding the sweat-slick doe tight, he gently broke their passionate kiss, licking her forehead and savouring the taste of her sweat mingled with the unmistakable essence of a thoroughly pleasured doe.

Kael held her gaze, his amber eyes reflecting a mix of possessiveness and tenderness as he held her helpless. The warmth of their union left them both trembling, and he could feel the remnants of their shared ecstasy thrumming in the air between them. Liora panted, her breaths coming in shaky gasps, a euphoric smile spreading across her muzzle as she revelled in the aftermath of their passion.

“Kael,” She murmured, her voice a breathy whisper. “that was... incredible.”

He flicked an ear, then chuckled softly, the sound rumbling deep in his chest. “Incredible doesn't quite cover it, does it?” His hands remained beneath her buttocks, his trembling fingers supporting her before he shuddered and pulled back, his deflating knot slipping free.

Liora shuddered, and then a large splash of his seed and her own fluids splattered on the floor around her cloven hooves. With a guilty gasp, Liora blushed, her inner ears turning crimson with guilt and shame.

Kael grinned at her, then shook his head. His own length still dribbled and twitched, the knot half as large as what it'd been, but it'd be at least another hour before it fully deflated and his penis slipped back into its sheath.

Liora met his gaze, a spark of mischief in her eyes. “You could say that again,” She playfully nuzzled his chin. “But you know, I think we could go for round two.”

Kael raised an eyebrow, a grin spreading across his lupine features. “Is that so?”

“Absolutely,” she replied, a gleam of determination sparking within her. She rippled her vaginal muscles, teasingly grinding his trembling penis between her muscles, his seed and her own lubricating fluids adding to the sensual pleasure. “I'm just getting started.”

With a low growl of excitement, whether from his wolf or his human side, Liora did not know. He felt the familiar pull of desire reigniting within him. He leaned forward, capturing her lips once more, their kiss igniting again, as the world once more faded into obscurity.

This time, he spun her around, pinning her to the wall, holding her wrist in one paw, whilst he guided himself back under her tail once more. Liora's tail flagged eagerly against his stomach, then she bleated as he thrust forward, mounting her once more, his passion and eagerness almost wolf-like.

“No... not... like this,” Liora bleated, then laughed nervously. “The wolf had his fun; I want my human... he knows how to please me truly...”

With a snort, Kael slowed his thrusts, then dismounted, gently stepping back as a knowing grin spread over his lupine features. A flicker of understanding passed between them, and Kael, feeling the shift in her desire, concentrated on the connection they shared. As he released his hold on his primal instincts, his powerful wolf-human hybrid form melted away to reveal his human shape. Standing before her, he was tall and strong, his amber eyes still holding that same intense spark that had drawn Liora to him in the first place.

Liora pushed back from the wall, her breath ragged as she braced herself on all fours. Closing her eyes, she trembled as her body began its slow transformation. Unlike Kael's, hers was more gradual, and though she did her best to mask the discomfort, it was impossible to hide the strain and pain it caused her fully.

Minutes passed, her bones shifting, muscles reforming, until finally, Liora emerged in her true form—an elk cow, though still marked by her unique fawn-like spots that dappled her neck, back and flanks. She rose unsteadily to her cloven hooves, giving a soft shake of her dark-furred head, before flicking her ears, the familiar weight of her body settling in.

Turning her head, Liora cast an appreciative gaze at the man now standing behind her. Kael, fully human once more, held his slick, impressive length in both hands, his eyes filled with desire and admiration for the magnificent creature she had become.

He approached her, placing one hand gently on her rump, his fingers lovingly caressing her diamond-shaped tail, playfully tugging it, making Liora squirm and frown at him, but there was no anger in her gaze, it was part of their foreplay and courtship. Her tail swished in his fingers, as he lifted it up and aligned himself with the creamy fur of her sex.

“Hold tight,” he murmured, his voice a deep rumble filled with promise.

“Always,” she breathed, bracing her forelegs, her heart racing as she looked back over her shoulder, expectant and prepared.

He hilted himself, then pulled back, teasing her slick, creamy folds. Each time his tip grazed her clitoris, Liora's body responded, her breath hitching and her knees quivering.

With a low, shuddering bleat, Liora slightly squatted her hindquarters, finding just the right angle so his penile head with each thrust, rubbed and stimulated her clitoris. His moans and shudders betrayed his emotion, her elk form way hotter and slicker than her anthropomorphic one. His hands slid down her flanks and reached beneath her belly, his fingers tweaking and squeezing her two hindmost teats, massaging her udder as he did so.

“Don't...no... don't hold... back,” Liora bleated, her tail flagging faster.

He chuckled, pushing forward with a deep thrust, his hips slapping against her rump, again and again, giving her everything he could, the powerful muscular contractions of her body with each pounding movement only serving to heighten the passion and pleasure between doe and human. Her body began to quiver, then tremble, her knees violently shaking as his eyes widened in surprise, then amusement. He felt her body convulse beneath him, as he ground himself hard against her rump, another convulsive climax overwhelming her cervid form.

“Don't... stop!” Liora gasped, her head bowed, saliva dripping from her lips, her breath ragged and voice thick with need.

“I won't,” he promised, feeling his own surge of heat within him.

He thrust and ground himself against her for three hours, bringing the elk to orgasm five more times, until her front legs collapsed beneath her and she was reduced to a sweat-slick, bleating and convulsing creature on the floor, her hind legs locked, him rutting her with enthusiasm and vigour. His own delayed need built to a white-hot crescendo within his scrotum, and he gave her his seed again—her muscular contractions milking him for every last drop.

As he climaxed, he buried himself inside her, pulling her hips up and back, forcing her hind legs up onto the tip of her cloven hooves, before he moaned and shuddered, slumping down onto her back, her vaginal muscles crushing down and trapping him inside her. He slumped forward on her back, eliciting a deep grunt from Liora, as she looked back over her shoulder, a nervous smile on her lips, as she licked the sweat off his face.

His breathing quickened, a mix of exhaustion and something deeper. He felt her muscles gripping him tighter, pulling him deeper into her warmth. Liora looked back, her eyes clouded with lust, but something else too—an innocent plea for understanding. Kael frowned at her, then his eyes became hard and dominant, his wolf's perceptions sharpening.

“Wait... you're in heat, aren't you?” He gasped, staring into her eyes.

Liora's eyes fluttered, her gaze dropping. She didn't want to lie to him—couldn't. Her feral form betrayed her vulnerability as she whispered. “I am... but I didn't realise it.” Her voice shook, but it wasn't just from the exhaustion; it was a fear of what it might mean.

“I don't know... much about my new body, what I've become...” Liora confessed. “You... don't suppose...”

Her eyes widened and her muzzle fell open, as she stared back at him. I can't possibly conceive a fawn to him... can I? The thought sent a whirlwind of emotions through her—excitement, fear and a longing she hadn't fully acknowledged.

Kael found he didn't have an answer for her...
