Shadow Play
When umbral dice begin to roll, you’ll quickly learn not all games are meant to be won. But the very best play for keeps.

Just a random-ass idea I had as a little break between comms. I wanted to do something quick, something with Umbreon, and kinda had Jumanji on the brain. So, I kept it vague, and hope you all enjoy. Cheers!

Neon bleeds through midnight fog, painting The Midnight Parlor's sign in ethereal hues. The crumbling brick buildings lean close, their shadows conspiring, whispering secrets you shouldn't hear. Yet here you are — mesh tank catching streetlight, ripped pants hanging loose, perfect for someone about to break all the rules.
Your boots crunch broken glass as you approach. The door — heavy oak carved with spiraling patterns — swings open at your touch. Welcoming. Waiting. Inside, warmth wraps around you like living velvet, carrying hints of ancient wood and stranger things. Lanterns cast dancing shadows across endless shelves, their flames somehow wrong, somehow alive.
Games line the walls. Not the plastic-bright boxes of chain stores, but something other. Unmarked. Untamed. Dangerous. Their presence pulls at you, a dark umbra threatening to eclipse you. Your fingers brush leather spines, trace gilt edges. Each touch sends tingles through your skin, little sparks of possibility.
Movement.
Your heart stops.
The shopkeeper materializes from shadow, his form a seduction in black and gold. Not cloth — rubber. Lustrous latex that flows like water, catches light like sin. His smile curves, knowing and hungry.
"Tell me..." The shopkeeper's voice drops lower, each word a caress. "What do you seek in the dark?"
Your throat tightens.
Words spill out before you can stop them.
"Excellent. I've got just the game for you." His voice carries midnight depths, promises wrapped in velvet. Long fingers beckon, latex gleaming. "Perhaps... we should find somewhere more private to play?"
You follow, drawn by that hypnotic sway of rubber on rubber. Past shelves of curiosities. Through a door you hadn't noticed. Down stairs that seem to drink the light.
The game room opens before you — small, windowless, intimate. A single lantern casts dancing shadows across stone walls. At its center, a round table draped in midnight velvet waits. Hungry.
"Not many finish this one." He places a box before you — obsidian surface drinking light, golden trim pulsing with subtle power. "But you... you look like you were made for this."
Challenge accepted.
Your fingers close around the box. Cool surface against skin, yet... something more. A vibration. A hunger. The shopkeeper vanishes, leaving you alone with your choice. With your destiny.
The box opens with a whispered hiss. Inside, the game board gleams — not wood, not metal, but something in between. Something alive. You lift it out, and...
Spark.
Your fingertips tingle.
The sensation spreads, racing up your arms. Your mesh top suddenly feels wrong against your skin, too rough, too human. Beneath the fabric, something changes. Skin softens. Yields. The first hints of glossy black beginning to bloom.
You try to pull away, but it's too late.
Join us.
The game has chosen.
Surrender.
And you...
Feel how good…
You were never meant to stay human anyway.
Dice tumble from trembling fingers. Umbral cubes that catch no light, their faces marked with golden rings that pulse like heartbeats. They roll across the board's surface with unnatural grace, each bounce echoing through your changing flesh.
Click.
Clack.
Claim.
Your breath catches as the first true wave hits. Heat floods your core, liquid fire racing through your veins. The mesh of your tank top catches, drags against sensitized skin. Each thread an agony of wrong. Your flesh ripples beneath, no longer just skin but something... more.
"What's... happening?" Your voice breaks, but no one answers. The shopkeeper is gone, leaving only shadows and the game's hungry whispers.
You know what's happening.
Black spreads beneath your top, glossy perfection claiming inch after inch. Not a coating — a transformation. Your skin isn't being covered, it's becoming. Soft. Sleek. Latex. The sensation sends shudders down your spine, each wave of change bringing fresh jolts of pleasure-pain.
Your fingers — already gleaming black — trace the transformation's edge. Human flesh yielding to living latex, the contrast stark. You should be terrified. Should be running. Instead...
You want more.
The mesh top splits, unable to contain your changing form. Shreds fall away from the sleek expanse of your chest, your shining biceps. Obsidian perfection marred only by the first hints of golden rings, their light pulsing beneath rubber flesh. Your heart pounds against reforming ribs, each beat pushing you further from human.
Closer to perfect.
A whimper escapes your lips as the change reaches your face. Skin tingles, stretches, transforms. Your features shift, muzzle pushing forward with vulpine grace. Ears elongate, reaching toward shadow-draped ceiling. Each new sensation overwhelming, electric.
Your ripped pants grow tight, restrictive. Something moves beneath them — thick, powerful, eager. The seams strain, then split. Your newly formed tail flicks free, latex-smooth and tipped with a golden ring that throbs in time with your racing pulse.
The dice haven't stopped rolling.
The board hasn't stopped glowing.
Looking so good, so… correct…
And you...
You haven't stopped changing.
Your legs buckle as bone and muscle reform. Knees reverse, calves lengthen. Your boots split as paws emerge, three-toed and perfect. Umbral flesh races higher, eclipsing thighs, hips, butt. Each wave of change brings fresh heat, fresh need.
You collapse onto hands and knees, watching as fingers shorten, thicken, nails sharpening. Your breath comes in ragged gasps, fogging the board's glossy surface. The reflection below shows your face — no longer human, not quite Umbreon. Caught between. Becoming.
Submit, the game whispers. Surrender.
Golden rings pulse brighter, their light painting shadows across latex flesh. Your body responds, arching into the change. Into the pleasure. The last fragments of humanity slip away like water, leaving only primal hunger. Only need.
Your tail — your tail — lashes the air, each movement a revelation. New muscles flex and stretch. New sensations cascade through reformed nerves. Everything feels right. Feels perfect. Feels...
So good…
The dice take another turn.
Snap.
The sound of dice hitting board becomes thunder. Reality fractures. Your latex flesh drinks in shadow, golden rings blazing like captured stars. The transformation surges, no longer content with mere physical change.
It. Wants. Everything.
Your mind floods.
Memories spiral, fragment, transform. Human thoughts dissolve into primal instinct. Into night-dark hunger. Into power. Each lost memory replaced by something stronger, something deeper. The knowledge of shadow. Of moonlight. Of what you're becoming.
Umbreon.
The word resonates through reformed flesh, through changing mind. Your muzzle lifts, scenting air thick with tangy transformation. Nostrils flare, drinking in smells no human was meant to know. Every breath brings new understanding, new purpose.
Your latex-smooth chest heaves as pleasure spikes. Golden rings pulse, sending waves of heat through your core. Down. Down to where your groin throbs with need, with change. Human anatomy yields to something smoother, sleeker, more correct.
Desperate fingers tear at shredding fabric, ripping away the last barrier between you and truth. Your claws — when did they become claws? — trace where familiar anatomy should be. Instead, you find only sleek, sensitive rubber. A perfect, glossy swell that catches golden glow like sin. Your palm cups the bulge, feeling it throb with each thundering heartbeat. Each touch sends electric shivers through reformed nerves, amplifying sensation until you're gasping, whimpering, needing.
But there's no release. No way to grasp what isn't there. Just smooth, latex perfection that answers every desperate touch with waves of pleasure-denial. Your claws scrape uselessly across the surface, leaving no mark on your transformed flesh.
Fuck.
Your claws scrape the board as another wave hits. Stronger. Deeper. Reshaping not just flesh but essence. Your tail arches, ring blazing as power courses through it. Through you. No longer transformation but transcendence.
Pleasure builds. Builds. Builds.
Every ring ignites in sequence — tail to ears — creating circuits of pleasure that feed back into each other, amplifying, building, consuming. Your latex flesh drinks it in, grows more sensitive, more alive. The pleasure spirals higher, tighter, stronger.
You try to cry out, but your voice has changed. Human words become something darker, deeper, primal. A sound that speaks of night and shadow and need. Your claws flex against the board, leaving marks that fade like dreams.
The dice take your final turn.
Release.
Pleasure explodes.
Your body arches.
Golden rings blaze against obsidian flesh, each pulse sending electric ecstasy through your changed form. Your sealed nulge throbs with each beat, denial transforming into pure sensation. Into perfection. Claws scrape wood as pleasure claims every nerve, every thought, every fragment of what you were.
Your muzzle parts in a silent howl. Tail lashes shadow-patterns through thick air as rings pulse brighter, faster, stronger. Power surges through latex flesh, drowning you in pure euphoria, each throb echoing through your core until reality shivers with your transformation. No longer just pleasure — your very essence vibrates between light and shadow, between what was and what you are.
Umbreon!
Reality bends.
The shop dissolves into shadow and starlight. Wooden floors become forest loam. The game board's surface ripples like dark water, then...
Vanishes.
"Umbreon!"
Cool night air caresses your latex form. Grass tickles your paws. Above, the moon hangs full and heavy, calling to something deep within. Your rings pulse in answer, gold against obsidian against night.
A voice cuts through shadow. Familiar. Friendly.
"There you are!"
Your trainer. Your purpose.
Memory crystallizes — not of how you came to be, but of who you are. Umbreon. Partner. Perfect. Your tail swishes as you turn, each movement a play of shadow and latex. Their smile ignites something primal within you, something that speaks of loyalty and power and belonging.
You bound forward, paws silent on forest floor. Your latex form moves with liquid grace, each golden ring pulsing with barely contained power. This is what you were meant to be. What you always were.
The night calls.
Your trainer beckons.
And you...
You answer with every fiber of your being.
