the Wolves Chapter 5: dragon wings
#5 of the wolves
chapter 5 has arrived :D
A comment recently brought something to my attention; I haven't really mentioned the time period of this story. Its modern times; the wolf clans and dragon tribe choose to live where they do. The reason Reist and Fen haven't left is simply because the wolves are afraid of city life. The wolves talk about not being civilized but they really aren't. They aren't feral, but they are not civilized ether. I will be going back and fixing that but I figured I'd put it here also so you don't have to go back yourself.
Chapter 5: dragon wings
Reist woke up the next morning still a little dazed from the previous night. His ass hurt a little bit but all in all he was over the moon. He was officially mated. He grinned and turned to face Fen, he was still asleep. Reist slid out of the bed carefully and dressed as quietly as he could. The dragon tribe was already stirring to life. He left to hut and shut the flap behind him; before he did anything he wanted to bathe. His belly was caked with his matted soaked in cum fur. It wasn't the most comfortable feeling. He stopped a she dragon, this one a bright gold and asked her where he could get clean. She smirked and said
"Oohh how was it? A little bit north of the village there is a lake." Apparently news travels like a wildfire in dragon tribes because everyone that Reist passed winked, smirked or made some sort of acknowledgement that they knew what had happened. He blushed the whole way to the lake. As he bathed he thought about Rorick. He had been doing his best to ignore that issue, but it needed to be addressed eventually. He was going to have to talk to the wolf, if he would even agree to talk. He finished his bath quickly, and headed to the tree Rorick was chained to. It was near the edge of the village, next to Embereye's hut. The grey wolf snarled at him as soon as he noticed his presence.
"Traitorous faggot!" HE spat out glaring
"So I take it you won't agree to keep quiet about this?" Reist said a little sad but not surprised.
"Like hell! I'm telling Grant as soon as these lizards let me go. And then" he laughed meanly "I'll be told to kill you. Start running now pup." Reist sighed. He had expected that. Embereye's poked her head out of her hut.
"Strongheart, come in here for a moment." She said retreating back inside. Reist followed her
"Yea?"
"Well first I'd like to congratulate you on mating." She said
"Does EVERYONE know about that?" Reist exclaimed
"Afraid so, Nomads are good at three things, moving and talking."
"That's only two" Reist pointed out
"Yes well, I have an offer to make you and that involves the third thing. We're good at accepting things for how they are. I'd like to offer you and Feraltooth a home here; you can be together without worry about your clans killing you." Reist was struck silent by the offer opening and closing his mouth like a fish. He was full of feelings. What about his mom? He'd probably never see her again. But he'd see Fen every day. And they could travel the world together without ever worrying about being outcasts.... He hugged Embereyes tightly, starting to cry.
"Thank you" he whispered before running back to the hut Fen and he were using. He didn't look back at Rorick. "FEN!" he yelled running into the hut. The black wolf jolted awake shouting something about stolen sheep. "Embereyes said we can stay here in the tribe!" Fen still, trying to wake up, asked
"What?"
"I was talking to Embereyes and she offered to let us stay with the tribe" Reist repeated. This time Fen comprehended the words
"Are you serious?" he asked both surprised and ecstatic. Reist nodded. "Wait, what are we going to do about our Clans? I mean we can't stay here for the rest of the season. When our clans find out... well I don't want to think about it" Reist deflated slightly.
"Shit.... They can just say that we ran away or something." He said half heartedly. "We can talk about all that later I guess. But right now we should finish helping with the camp. And I have a flying trip to take." Fen smiled as his mate blew out of the hut. He was slightly worried about this being too good to be true, but he decided not to look this gift horse in the mouth. He dressed and stepped outside to continue helping with construction. The all but finished village was still lively from the previous night's revelry. Fen found Embereyes and began helping her.
"Thank you for your offer" he said. She nodded
"But?" She said. Fen sighed
"But what will we do for the next season. There are quite a few wolves in my clan who would gladly start a war just to punish me for mating a Crescent moon. "
"Feraltooth, every member of this tribe would give up his or her life to protect a fellow brother or sister, you and your mate have touched our hearts. In all of our years we have never seen a situation like this. If a war begins, it will be long overdue for this forest, and it will not be for your lives, it will be for the right to love who you choose. Whether you stay or not, you are a member of this tribe." Fen was speechless. He didn't know that this kind of kindness existed.
"Then I guess I have no choice, chieftain, I would be honored to count myself among your numbers." Embereyes nodded.
"We are honored to have you feraltooth"
Frostfoot walked up quickly followed by an excited Reist.
"Hey mom, we're going flying now." He said "before Strongheart here explodes from anticipation"
"Be careful, these skies are unfamiliar skies. I would feel more comfortable if you waited for Treesong to get back."
"We'll be fine. Strongheart is taking his bow" Frostfoot said walking a ways away. Reist stood in front of him and the dragon wrapped his arms around the wolf, beating his wings, they slowly lifted off the ground, before all at once, zooming away, Reist was whooping with exhilaration. The next couple of hours passed without incident, the village were finished. Fen was talking to Embereyes, when a tree green dragon female came up. She was breathing heavily.
"We need to get all of the hatchlings together and keep them in the center of the village. And no one needs to leave."
"Why?" The red chieftain asked a sharpness in her voice that Fen had not heard yet.
"Harpy slavers from the desert lands." The green said
"Treesong you know, Feraltooth, his mate and my son went out flying, take him and go find them. He's an accomplished fighter, he can take nay slavers that attack but I don't think Frostfoot and Strongheart can. They were flying east." Fen was still catching up when Treesong took off with his him in tow.
"Harpy slavers?" he asked looking at the she dragon.
"They're ruthless. They take anyone and everyone they can. Any age gender or species. They prefer dragons in the desert lands but a cute fluffy wolf like your mate would definitely get bought. And by the worst kind of master."
"What kind is that?"
"The kind that likes to feel his slaves rather than put them to work." Treesong said pointedly
"Oh..." Fen said understanding "why would a wolf be in such high demand?"
"All they have in the desert are jackals."
"Will they take from the clans?"
"No, they came for the dragons, your mate will just be icing on the cake." She said flying faster.
"Hey Frostfoot, what are those?" Reist said pointing to some oddly shaped silhouettes that had been following them. The blue dragon looked behind him and then swore his eyesight much sharper than Reist's he could perfectly make out the 7 harpies.
"Trouble. Those are trouble. We need to land, now." He said spiraling down. He touched down heavily and let the wolf go. "Draw your bow."
"You don't have a weapon?" Reist asked
"I'm not much of a fighter." Frostfoot said, keeping his eyes skyward.
It was late afternoon by the time Treesong spotted anything. She descended quickly; Fen felt like his stomach was jumping up his throat. As soon as his feet hit the ground, he began throwing up from air sickness.
"Not a flyer I see." Treesong said wandering over to the masses on the ground. There were two dead harpies, one male and one female. As per the norm, the harpies were nude, and tanned. The only non feathered area was their face, belly, groin and inner arms. The term arm being used loosely, there were wings on attached to their arms, and their hands were more like talons. The male had a single arrow protruding from his chest, the female had a few scattered over her body.
"Those are Reist's." Fen said wiping his mouth, instantly recognizing the handmade arrows.
"It looks like they took them both." Treesong said quietly.
"We have to go after them" Fen instantly.
"No. we have to tell Embereyes. We already know where they are going. And getting there is going to be tough since you don't fly. She'll tell us what to do. And trust me, she'll get them back and make those harpies pay dearly. She's not one to be trifled with when angered."
Frostfoot and Reist exchanged a frightened look as the remaining harpies carried them across the darkening sky. Frostfoot wasn't as worried about himself, he'd get put to work. But Reist, they were going to do terrible things to him. His mother was going to pull through he knew, but she needed to hurry up and nip this one in the ass. The both of them fell asleep, the harpies having drugged them to minimize struggling.
The next morning Embereyes was quiet, deep in thought. She finally said
"Treesong, take feraltooth and rainstorm and go after them. You and Rainstorm can pass Feraltooth between each other. Get them back. Avoid bloodshed unless necessary. Feraltooth, that means you too." Fen nodded.
"I'll do my best not to lose It." he said honestly. But he had the feeling his best wasn't gonna cut it.
"Good. Now go. And send Iceheart in here. I must send a message stalling the wolf clans. Now go." The two left the hut.
"Feraltooth, you are a good tracker I hope?" Treesong asked, walking briskly
"I can sniff out my mate if that's what you're asking. I thought you knew where they're going." Fen said suspiciously
"I do. But they are going to get there long before us, and both Frostfoot and Strongheart will be sold by the time we do arrive." Treesong said.
"Yea I can find them." Fen said.
"Good." She said.
Reist and Frostfoot were awoken the next day with rough shakings. They were tied up, gagged, and stripped in the floor of a van somewhere. It was a work van; the only seats were the driver and passenger seats. The front two seats were occupied by a male and female harpy. The one who had shaken the two kidnapped friends was another guy. The other two harpies were male and female, and leaning against the side of the moving van.
"Can you believe out luck?" the male leaning against the wall said. "A dragon this fit, AND a wolf."
"It's a damn shame about Freya and stoke though" said the leaning female referring to the ones Reist had shot.
"That just means we can jack up his price even more." The driving girl said coldly.
"Lets here sales pitches guys" Said the guy in the passenger seat. "Dragon first."
"I got him." said the leaning female standing up strait and looking over the dragon once more before diving into a sales speech. "Here we have an excellent specimen of a healthy Blue dragon, he's physically fit and his scales are harder than armor, any work you load this big guy down with, he's can do it, guaranteed."
"Good. Now Charles does the wolf, you're the best at selling the sex slaves." Reist whined out at when he heard that and started struggling. "Hey, none of that beautiful. We don't' want to hurt the merchandise, but we will." The passenger seat guy said threateningly. The Harpy who had shaken them awake, who must be named Charles began inspecting Reist intently. He petted his fur and looked at his face. Then he grabbed at Reist's ass and squeezed his cheeks. Reist started struggling again and Charles nonchalantly kicked him in the ribs. The harpy pressed a finger against Reist's tail hole, and then he poked at the wolf's sheath.
"Here we have a beautiful white wolf, for all of you gentlemen with softer tastes; once you pet this boy's pelt you'll instantly love him. And that's without me mentioning how he's nice and squishy in all the right areas. He's nice and tight for those of you who like a squirmer, but he's already been broken in so there's no need to worry about him crying the whole time. He is a little feisty; he took down two of our number with a bow, so you get to have some fun breaking his spirit, and utilize his excellent marksmanship to earn so money in a competition. Let's start the bid at" he trailed off smirking.
"Damn Charles that was a good one." Said the leaning male. "I ain't even gay and that made me want to take him for a spin."
"Too bad." The driver said. "They're being auctioned tomorrow. And I'm not chancing you hurting him and diminishing his value."
To be continued
Frostfoot and Reist get sold into slavery! With Fen and two other dragons hot on their trail, can he save his mate? Will he sacrifice his non feral mind to do so?
