"There is nothing more to talk about," was Kyn's response. It came out as flat and monotone. His mind was still in a loop over what to do next.

"Fine...then you shall listen, while I talk, and try to explain what just happened to someone who doesn't understand me, as well as I understand myself." she laid down on the ground, much like he was, actually, making no move towards him. "That happened because there was no outlet for my rage, Kyn. That rage had been building for a while, and every time I tried to warn you against Royce, and you essentially told me to sit down and shut up, and I obeyed...the next time was when I found out that what I had feared would happen, had, and I had to control myself there because even though we are family...I had no right to save you, you didn't call for me, but Tensa had to be the one to reach into the link to do it...and he wanted my help for you..." she paused, closing her eyes. "How long have you had the link, which I myself will not forge? Mateship is supposed to be the one bond that doesn't NEED a link for you to understand one another...but I need one to understand you. At this moment, the hate is gone, Kyn...but I've held to my word, even in that hate. I did not hurt you....If I had, it may as well have been myself I was cutting into."

"I do not know exactly, Serena. However, I can guess that it began when I was about twelve. Besides. I do not believe I could have called you anyway. But I wanted to, and at the same time, I was afraid to." He admitted.

Serena crawled, quite literally, towards him, careful not to make any sudden movements--indeed, treating him as someone might a Buneary that was frightened. "In the end...I don't want to hate you, Kyn. Four months ago, after seeing something like this, I would have told you to leave and to never come back...I still would not have hurt you." She looked down at the inevitable blood on her claws. "Please....give me a reason; any reason...not to send -you- away...."

"I can think of barely any reasons for you not to send me away. However, I will say some of them. The first involves the fact that, I do not believe that our permanent separation would benefit either of us. Secondly... it would mean leaving Heji forever, something that I would hate to do to you both. Third... I find it hard to believe that we are together simply because of curiosity, only to be split apart later." The tone was starting to return to his voice, but it was barely there.

The first and third she nodded to, but the second...stopped her in her tracks. "Kyn...there is something you need to understand on that point. I LOVE Heji, yes, and half of me would be missing without him here...but the ache dulls after a while, becomes bearable...for the most part." She sighed. "Here's one for you...because you fit in here in this world, better than you do in your own. Where you can call yourself insane, and those around you will brush it off like a drop of water, where you can hunt, and hurt, and FEEL...and where you're not judged by what they see, but what they fail to see." She was perhaps a turn away from him, all it would take was for him to turn onto his side and reach, and he'd have his hands on her, but she didn't move any further. "Forgive a fool, for letting her emotions rage war...?"

"I suppose I can... Now... I am done with Royce. I suppose when I have pent up aggression from being the way I am, I can take it out on him, since he said there will be no consequences for doing so. Tell me, what are you planning on doing with Royce now?" He rolled over onto his left side, and stretched slightly, before bring his knees back up and staring at the ceiling more.

"Broken legs, dislocated shoulders...he's not going anywhere for a while...I don't know...but I don't want to see that ball, Kyn. I don't care if you keep him anymore." There was a tone of regret in her voice, noticeably. "I'd...like to dismiss any claims he might have made of me, while I was away...or even to my face....for me to actually tell you though, he'd have to release me from the vow that he made me swear to, and he wont do that even when he's about to die---but I can show you."

"You did tell me about searching without you, well that is still something that I need to do. I believe you once said permission in that regard is also important." He completely ignored the issue of her and the Ultra Ball, and skipped straight to what she said afterward.

Serena nodded. "It is...yes...and you have it. Roll over and let me make sure I didn't bruise you...I'll be using that as a means to occupy my mind and leave you at the starting point." she explained, tucking her fangs back into her mouth, and waiting either for him to give a retort, or to comply.

"Oh Serena... I'm not a human that bruises easily but... I will roll over for you. Oh dear, that sounded..." He didn't really finish his sentence, but rolled over as she asked and left her mind to fill something there.

She chuckled. "It's nice to have you back, Kyn." She stepped over him almost tenderly, and with the cape pulled up, and the shirt bunched over his shoulders, she let the first swipe of her tongue be felt, and in it's wake, she pulled him into the recesses of her mind. to his mind's eye, it would appear a hallway, and she sat before him as a Shelgon, that soon dissolved to leave a Bagon behind, that which he had known before. She gave him a sad smile, then motioned down the hall behind herself. 'The hall of memories....all defenses have been removed...at your leisure, .'

"Serena. This is one of those questions that I believe may have a bearing on the future. You have now seen me in a cape. What do you think of this particular cape?"

The answer came in her mind, rather than using her voice--'It's...interesting...why would something like this have bearing in the future?' As he walked down the hall, he could see doors with names on them, some with events...others with the names of people that she had interacted with, among them were 'Forest Rebirth', 'Body count' and of course 'Marlow,' 'Heji', 'Merlot', 'Royce' and 'Anana' There was even one for Kyn himself, at the end of the hall, and one for Tensa beside it.

"Well... it's because I may get rid of the overcoat temporarily. This cape, technically is the mark of a Dragon Tamer. Unless you consider yourself mine... then technically I have only tamed two Dragons. I prefer the black with red inside." He moved closer toward the one that had Royce's name on it...

Swipes of her warm tongue accented her words. 'I don't consider myself 'tame' per se ...but I am part of your family, as you are part of mine.' As he approached, the door opened, and he found himself with different paintings on the wall, some of them with numbers on their frames, others with actual words. Most had a scene to them, but there were some with a black canvas. Those were mostly towards the end of the first section, the second section had Kyn in them, starting with their first visit down. As with the second section, he should have been able to piece together the fact that the non black ones were the pieces that she had shown him before.

"I'm rather looking forward to when you are a Salamence." Kyn stated simply. He progressed through and through, taking mental notes each time.

'If you touch them...they'll play for you.' She gave only that little tip, considering the canvas' that were black, having those play for him would be rather...well, that was what she wanted him to see after all. 'As am I...but probably not for the same reasons as you.'

"There... may be some similar reasons. So then. I suppose I'll... start with the very first one I saw..." He wondered just how far back Serena and Royce went, besides that one incident he'd seen from her memories, or how much they spanned AFTER that incident.

She focused on his back, using small licks, she was sure that it looked strangely to anyone who walked in on it, since she would be non-responsive, she didn't even have her eyes open. The picture began to play, first fading from black to show the still, and then from her point of view onward, showing the torture sessions she was put through at first for doing absolutely nothing wrong, in her mind at least, the fact that she was in a puddle of her own blood would have been bad enough, but the fact that she was bound and forced to look up at Royce due to a leash that pulled her head up, she was watching him from the corner of her eye as he went around and brought a knife back behind her headplates, severing them from the back of her neck, and the feeling of the warm blood being added to the puddle as it ran down her arms and shoulders.

With this view alone, Kyn understood what Serena meant when she mentioned Royce's response to his own torture, and then it occurred to him that, compared to the images he was seeing, what he did to Royce seemed mild in comparison.

'Those never fused back...' she trailed off, and went back to essentially mothering him. The picture went back to being black when her arms and legs gave out, either passing out from pain or blood loss, perhaps both, and by that time she had been littered with cuts.

"Makes me wonder yet again, though probably not best to wonder, if maybe, just maybe some of this might have to do with why I was allowed to do some of the things I did to Royce." He moved on to the next one and made contact there...

She slipped up and nipped the flesh at the words, almost immediately going back and running her tongue over that spot several times. 'Sorry...' The next one had her blindfolded, there wasn't much to see with her normal eyes, but her mind painted a good picture, was the knife threatened her claws, and then slipped beneath, and actually removed most of the claw from it's cuticle, one at a time, until all of them had been done the same way. He made a crude remark about her rump, and tore the scales across there as the blood from her claws trickled down her hand and onto her back; she had learned to stop pleading by now, each one of the pleas that did leave her mouth earned her another gash from the blade, and when she could not plead, the O ring in her mouth spreading her jaws, he filled it with either his tail or his member, making her gag and convulse--it was clear that she hadn't been given anything to eat from the lack of sustenance in her stomach. Then the cuts that she had lit up like fire, as fire indeed seared the wounds shut. 'I'll remind you now, that for all of this, I was under the effects of that drug...' Then his fingers pressed into her, cruel and rough, they didn't go anywhere near her hymen, but scratched and drew blood just the same.

She felt shame, of course, as not only the blood, but also her body's natural juices were forced into her mouth, almost down her throat, and then the blindfold came off, and he was walking away, leaving her tied there, confused as the torch that burned nearby on the floor became her only company, Riiko stood at the door, gave her one look, a cruel smile, and then he too walked away. She tested her bonds, which tore at her skin, lined with the sharp teeth--not unlike the ring that she had put on him the first night--and sighed to herself, trying to find a more...comfortable lying position, wincing each time the cuffs cut her, and she spent her time examining the locks and straps, how they worked, the latches and how she could get out of them--determined not to remain as his 'pet' for long.

"I have kept that in mind. Now, I must ask. In this world... if you were prone to odd mood swings that came out of nowhere, such as being excited to the point of.... dripping, let's say, and then literally not later than a minute, ready to kill, then what would you call that?"

'If there was no reason for you to switch moods, then you would be called mentally unstable, however if there was a reason for your body to switch, say like a predator comes and interrupts the reason for your...excitement, then it would be called good survival instincts. There are species that EAT their mate right after intercourse, so it sometimes is required, but that depends on the species.' She answered as that canvas faded back to black.

"Well then. That gives me quite another degree of relaxation on my mind." Of course, he was still conflicted about many things, but they were beginning to disappear more and more. Tried not to dwell on them as he was sure that being where he was.... might have various effects on that. He wasn't exactly too happy with the way these images were progressing, but he had requested it... and she had accepted it. He'd continue for as long as he could, even past the black canvasses down the line, until he reached... the end.

The 'canvas' laid out her torture to the point where she had been given an offer, to learn how to cut others for her own enjoyment, and for profit, as he revealed that she would eventually die if she did not, of course, at first she had refused the deal, just having gotten out of Gambitville and swearing not to harm another sentient, and then again later on, finally accepting and being trained between her own tortures, which were still just as, if not more frequent since that point.

'Hands on learning', he had called it, yet he told her that he had never felt the touch of a blade to his skin himself. She had been held in confidence then, perhaps someone he could have called friend, definitely did call a pupil, and she hated herself each day as she woke up, a pupil of this creature, and yet, she was alive; that was all she wanted. The last blackened canvas showed her escape, how he had made the mistake of leaving the cuffs in a direction where she could pick them with her opposing limb, how the blood flowed from the cuts as she took them off, and with her claws dulled to the point that she felt like a hatchling, she had--although disgusted with herself for doing so--taken up the knives that he kept in the box on display, instruments of her own torture, and that she used on others. When the guards saw her, as they had seen her before, they ran, but didn't get far, and she made her way out of the hidden section, dropping all but one blade which she concealed against her arm, she made it to the lobby when Royce himself caught up to her, and pulled her back into the darkness with his disable.

Of course, he had seen the next one, where Anana came in after hearing about the escape, and rescued her, or that's what she would have called it, and then they broke off to the next time they had visited, how she had planned out his safety, so that he had very little chance of getting 'burned by the fires of hell' and the hatred that burned behind her voice as she spoke to Royce, and spoke her safeword. The fact that she had trusted Heji and Striker to take care of the guards while they were in the office, how nervous she was if they failed...and yet she hoped that they wouldn't...relying on other 'mon was something that she wasn't used to...but she was pleasantly surprised that things went off without a hitch...the rest of them were more recent and so, when he hit the end of the room, that blue avatar formed against the wall, leaning on it, and she dragged her claws against it, creating a frame, and then painted a canvas in it, of Kyn himself lying beneath her, even as she nuzzled his hair physically, the painting moved with it, and she pushed it up to his eye level on the wall. As it sat in it's place, it shot off a copy of itself into another room, likely that of his own name.

'And so you come to the end of this room.' she sighed.

"Serena! I just wanted to say... that Royce's tail tasted just as delicious as some other things I've eaten. His tail tasted rather good both raw and cooked. That is all I will say on the matter for now." The next time he saw Anana, he was going to thank her highly. If not for something that happened way before his time here, things that happened DURING his time here as well.

'Are you ready to leave my mind, or do you wish to see some of the other doors as well?' she asked, unsure of what his answer would be. The main reason that she had brought him to her mind was to show him this door, but she wouldn't push him from her mind before he was ready, she meant what she had said, that he could go exploring without her supervising everything, but of course when he had interacted with them, they were replayed in her mind, she had no choice but to relive them. The tongue on his back stopped, that would be the most noticeable accent to his statements, and when she formed a suitable thought, she replied. 'If I could have bitten him back then, then I might agree with you now.' The reason she had stopped was probably more awkward than the question she had asked in the first place, but she didn't ask anything else.

"I am ready to leave your mind... so then. I think I'm going to go get my overcoat fixed, and then going to complete the orders. Have Anana and Merlot interacted before...?" His thoughts were still focused on Anana to get his mind off of Royce.

He probably felt the lurch that meant that he was back in his own head, the fact that she responded verbally marked that as well, as she looked down at him, and then eventually stepped away. "Merlot has never met Anana personally, however Magnolia, Merlot's esteemed tailor, comes here occasionally for supplies, and has interacted with her before I'm sure."

"Alright. Next question, at this current time, where do you think Anana would be?" He was certain that his procedures from here on out would change.

"Lets see...it's night time...probably either at the sushi bar or her home. In fact, more than likely at the sushi bar, since you said she was waiting for your order today, right? Yeah, she'd go there after her shop closed for the night."

"I'm going to complete the previous order then. I will be taking Lacu and Tensa with me, leaving my overcoat here. How do leave this place without going through the entrance other than... the spacial way?"

"Ah...hm..." she mused for a moment. "At the other end of the hall, take a left, then the first right, go down until the hall becomes dark, and then watch your step for the stairs, you can go up those to the guard barracks, and out that way."

"I also find it amazing... how just a few dark types, could completely eradicate this entire place of Psychics. Dusk stone powered Dark attacks being 3.5 times as effective. Devastating..." was the thought he left with. He went into the other room to retrieve Tensa and Lacu, and then they headed out of the building. Kyn was rather certain that he'd have plenty to talk with Anana about this time.

Serena pulled Royce from under the bed, and actually tossed him up onto it, then slammed the box closed, locking it; going as far as to remove the door knob, invert it, and reassemble it behind her before locking it so that the lock was on the outside rather than the inside. Of course, by that time Kyn was long gone...and her stomach, while uneasy; was suitable for food. She walked back to where she had left Heji, nosed him softly, and ate some ice cream and chocolate.
