Kobolds. Romance. Cheese. Beautiful things in fantasy~

Paid to hunt for beasts and bring back their meat and hide, that was what Sayne usually did, but today he went into the woods for a different query. As of late, the people from his village had complained of a kobold that had been making trouble around their homes. Traps and little devices made it difficult to move around without falling into pits or getting hung up from trees by the ankles and to add to it, the kobold seemed to have an affinity for anything that sparkled like an overgrown magpie. No one had been able to catch the thing, let alone stop it from doing what it desired around the village like a misbehaving child, and so they had complained and complained until the bronze skinned hunter had agreed to heading into the forest to take care of the monster himself. Normally he wasn't the one to take care of monsters, that was a job for a head-hunter or someone more specialized in that type of thing, but it was a single kobold; that and the villagers wouldn't let him sleep unless he got off his ass to hunt the damn thing down. How difficult could it truly be to take down a single kobold? By his estimation he'd be through the forest and out in a few hours if he tracked the damn thing correctly, and if it was truly as clever as the villagers claimed it was, then he'd find himself another village to sleep in. Now, he just had to search the woods for a kobold with dull blue scales and amber eyes. With bow slung over his shoulder, he made his way into the forest with a sigh.

Blue scales glimmered off of the sunlight coming through the forest tree tops. With his tail hanging off of the side, a kobold wearing a stolen cloak and belt with several pouches sitting upon a branch, eyes looking at a small gem upon a pendant he had taken from a rather rude woman that had come after him. He had let her go of course because killing simply wasn't his game, but the gem was just too pretty to pass up. Kaep had plenty of things like that, plenty of little trinkets and baubles stolen from the villagers that chased him into the forest. Perhaps, though, that was his own fault. He had been to the village back and forth looking for a little company, but they always shouted at him and threw rocks and the sort. Perhaps he should have taken to their hatred of him, but instead he found his fun in tricking them into his traps, letting their livestock loose and other various little jokes that were deemed a little bit too dangerous by the villagers. It had become his favorite pastime to tease the villagers. There weren't any other kobolds out here, and truthfully he missed his home, but going back wasn't an option. With a sigh he let the trinket fall from his hand and down to the grass below.

Kaep had left his warren a long time ago in perhaps the most foolish pursuit ever: adventure. He had gone out singing songs of glory, and like a mine of sparkling gems and gold, it had blinded him to the truth. He should have just stuck home where he belonged, where he was needed. There wasn't a single night where he didn't dream about the home that he had left behind. All his brothers and sisters, his family, his warren, all of it left behind at some stupid whim that he now regretted entirely, but going back? Going back to them with his head held down telling them that he had made a mistake? They would never be able to live down the fact that he had abandoned them, in fact, how could he face them? With a sigh, he brought laid limp upon the branch of the tree unsure of what to do with himself. Perhaps he would hunt for some fine meat, or perhaps go bother the villagers, either way, today he simply didn't feel like moving.

Through the brush and around tree Sayne moved crouched low, searching for any sign of the kobold. Thus far he had found it difficult to find any sign of the kobold. There were no tracks, no trails and the forest seemed practically untouched. What tracks he did found led to little traps and gadgets that had him second guessing everything he found. What seemed natural was made by the kobold, even a few rabbit tracks he had found had brought him to a trap that had nearly caused him to hang from a tree, but all of the traps seemed, innocent enough if not annoying. One trap he found was made with a weak rope that would break if anything tripped it, and it hadn't been that well covered as well. From what he saw the traps that he had found or had tripped over, were mostly just to scare people off, or at the very least give the kobold enough time to relocate, but perhaps he could find the kobold by following the traps?

Sayne's search continued on with his eyes on the trees until he found the object of his search perched upon a branch, eyes shut and tail hanging lazily off to the side. Carefully, quietly, and from the perfect distance he took his bow in hand and prepared an arrow while examining the kobold. Not as small as he thought it would be, but certainly nothing frightening. He couldn't believe that such a small thing could have caused so much trouble, and from the looks of it, it looked miserable. With a small frown, he brought his bow up, pulling back the string with arrow in hand. He could make it quick, fire an arrow through the head and be done with it, but something kept his hand still. His eyes continued to look over the kobold who seemed sad. Perhaps it was imagination, but he swore he saw tears stream down the creature's cheek. With a quick curse, he lower his bow and began trotting towards the creature calling out to the tree, "Hey! You! Kobold! I'd like to talk to you for a moment!"

Kaep sat up with a start, his tail lashing as he looked to the side where a bronze skinned human with a mess of curly black hair was approaching holding a bow and wearing the green and brown leathers of a hunter with a dark green small cloak. Immediately he narrowed his eyes and hissed. Talk of talk? Normally humans around this area would rather throw rocks than talk, and he saw that bow, he saw that the arrow was there ready to be notched and sent between his eyes, and yet the human hadn't done so already while his eyes were closed and so he gave the proper response, "What do you want? I'm not a friend to your kind. Don't think I forgot the rocks."

Sayne raised a brow and ran a hand through his hair, "Rocks? What rocks? I haven't ever seen you before."

Kaep chirped quickly, "Yes! But I've seen your kind throw plenty of rocks at me when all I wanted was a little conversation."

"I...Excuse me? You said rocks?" asked Sayne with a bit of confusion. No one had told him that the kobold had been accosted during peaceful visits, was the little monster trying to lie to him, "You steal from and put traps around the village, of course people are going to be mad."

Kaep snorted and sat upon the branch, indignant as he crossed his arms, "That was after they threw the rocks! They all yelled and called for me to leave, me being a monster and all, never seen a nice kobold in their lives you'd think."

Sayne scratched at the back of his head for a moment, feeling a bit strange about the conversation, "Well, if you really didn't start it, why were you there in the first place? Were you hungry?" Perhaps that would explain why the kobold was at the village so often, but no food had been taken, still he had to ask why the kobold had come to a human village time and time again only to be thrown out.

Kaep snorted, "I can do just fine out here by myself!" And to the human's question that was true. He could feed himself easily off of the land, hunt and forage for himself. That was never a problem, but just needing to be around other living breathing creatures was another story. Yes, he was lonely, but he found it difficult to put it into words, especially to some random human, and yet he was getting the conversation he so craved. Perhaps he should let up a little on his grudge and simply tell the human the truth, he seemed like an amiable sort.

While the kobold seemed lost in thought, eyes darting from side to side, Sayne himself was wondering about what the kobold actually needed. He had said something about conversation, and that made him wonder what a kobold was doing so far from home. Perhaps the kobold was a scout of sorts, robbing little trinkets for their home and so he asked, "Are you just gathering a hoard for your warren?"

That brought a wide-eyed expression to the kobold, his snout scrunching, and his eyes then narrowing, "What? No! I don't...I don't live with a warren anymore. I'm alone. By myself, no one else with me."

Those words came with a little hiss that had Sayne's hands up in defense, "All right, I didn't mean to bring a sore subject up. Getting kicked out of home can be rough."

Kaep hissed again this time a bit louder, "I did not get kicked from my home. I left...I left for stupid reasons and I cannot go back, so here I am stuck alone without other kobolds, and I deserve it for being dumb and leaving."

Sayne blinked, approaching the tree to place a hand upon it while looking up at the kobold. For a moment he wasn't sure what to say at that. The little guy was hissing and his tail was lashing, but the kobold's eyes were straining and looking away every time they met Sayne's. Perhaps the situation was much more simple than he thought. With a small smile he decided, though it was crazy, "Need a hug?"

Kaep snorted, head recoiling from the sudden strange offer, "Excuse me?"

The human simply chuckled and set his bow down, placing the arrow back in his quiver before he motioned with his arms out wide, "You sound like you need a hug. You're just lonely aren't you? You regret being alone now right? C'mon, I don't bite or throw rocks."

Kaep felt his cheeks fluster, his eyes narrowing in suspicion, "The--, what is wrong with you? Offering to hug a kobold? Didn't your people send you to assassinate me? They want me dead, not coddled and cuddled."

Sayne chuckled again and shook his head, "Yes and? The hell does that matter? I'm a hunter. I kill beasts to bring back for food and I push predators that are far too territorial away from the village. Nothing about killing kobolds in a hunter's job, so come down and give me a hug, or would you prefer just talking some more here."

Sayne thought that the kobold would perhaps hiss at him again, but instead the kobold sat there upon the branch looking down at the human with curious amber eyes. The kobold then shut his eyes and slipped down from the tree, landing with little noise before standing to look up at the human. Sayne simply stood there with a goofy grin on his face, the kobold snorting and looking away before he pressed himself to the hunter's body. Sayne made good on his promise and gave the kobold a tight squeeze, patting the little thing on the back, "See, isn't that better?"

Kaep still felt his cheeks flustered, his eyes shut as he shuddered and simply enjoyed the hug, despite the rough pats upon his small back. When their somewhat awkward embrace was over Kaep pulled away and looked up at the human, "Kaep..."

Sayne tilted his head, "Come again?"

Kaep sighed, "My name...Thank you for the hug, and the conversation."

"Sayne, and no trouble. Can't imagine how it is being away from your family for so long." The hunter said with a big smile.

Kaep could only grumble at that, "Yes, well, it's lonely. I'm used to being neck to neck with others of my own kind every night. No clothes, just scale and hide, and everything is far too quiet here. Even when it is time to sleep in the warren you can hear the sounds of tunnels being dug and more, but out here it is so quiet."

Sayne teased, "Could always sleep with me in the woods. Wouldn't that be fun?"

Kaep immediately chirped in response, his tail lashing, "That is entirely different! Besides, one body compared to many, t-this doesn't even sound right."

Sayne snorted, "I just meant we can talk and relax underneath the stars. I camp out in the woods often enough."

Kaep blinked, his tail suddenly swishing from side to side at the thought of an overnight companionship, "Really? When do you think that would be possible."

With a grunt the hunter picked up his bow, other hand dusting off his leathers, "Tonight seems good. I'll bring some supplies, we can put up a tent, chat a bit more and maybe in the meantime I can convince the villagers to let you come in, or at the very least be nice."

Kaep felt his little heart thump at that, "Really? Wait, you won't just leave for good right? You'll come back yes?"

Sayne grinned, "Of course I'll come back. Don't over excite yourself now." With that said the hunter turned to walk away from the kobold. Kaep's eyes watching the human with interest. Surely he wouldn't come back tonight, surely he didn't actually mean to come and spend the night with Kaep. Such a thing was odd enough, especially coming from that village, still, it filled him with a hope unlike any other. Still flustered, he sat against the tree, looking up at the sky, wondering when night would fall.

Kaep had stayed at the same spot for the entire day, waiting like a puppy for his owner to return. By the time the moon was high in the sky, his tail was lashing against the wood of the tree, his eyes looking from side to side. Perhaps the human had been tricking him all along or had gathered a mob to hunt him, lure him into a false sense of security. He still had his grudge against the village and certainly wouldn't be going anywhere near the place anytime soon, but if he could be accepted into the village it would be nice, even if he knew such a thing weren't possible. It didn't make any sense for him to be worrying about such things. He had lived in this forest by himself for quite some time, without any help from anyone else and any love from any other, so why should he care if one more human betrayed him? With his heart throbbing, he got up to begin pacing back and forth just in front of the tree. He wondered if he needed to leave, if the human really was trying to fool him then he'd need to go immediately instead of just waiting around, but something kept him pacing from side to side instead of running away. It was at that point he heard the voice of the human from nearby, "Hey! Kaep, you here?"

Kaep turned to see the human holding a lantern. A mixture of excitement and other various emotions filled him to the brim, with a spot of confusion. As he looked upon the human underneath the lantern's light he saw that the hunter had a bruised cheek, but a big bright smile was upon the hunter's face, "Hey there." Said the human without pause as he stepped past the kobold to set a pack down upon the ground.

Kaep continued to stare at the human, tail still, hands clutched together as he asked, "What happened to your cheek?"

Sayne raised a brow and shrugged, touching his cheek and wincing a bit from the pain, "Oh, this? A present from punching the alderman. His son didn't take kindly to it. Looks like I'll need to hide in the woods for a bit. They'll need me soon enough."

Kaep frowned, snout scrunching as he watched the human set up a tent and gather kindling for a fire, "You...You spoke out for me and got hurt? But why would you do that? Aren't they your people? Shouldn't you just ignore me and get on with your life?"

Sayne snorted as he set a small campfire, watching as the fire began to crackle and flicker to life, "I don't agree with everything my people say. Unlike you, I'd be glad for a bit of time away from them, besides, wrong is wrong isn't it?"

Kaep stepped over to the human, his eyes looking the man up and down before he quipped, "You're dumb aren't you?" The hunter could only smile as the kobold continued on, "You think they'll accept you back into the village? You punched a leader and tell them they're dumb? They'll throw rocks at you too before you're allowed in there."

With a grin the hunted gave the kobold's snout a soft tap, "Guess I'll have to stay with you then, I can provide for myself."

Kaep rubbed over his snout where the human touched him. Snorting he moved to stand next to the fire looking away from the human. What an embarrassing notion, to live with someone again, but only one person instead of many. It was almost like what human's considered being mated, and it flustered him to no end. Rather than look at the hunter, his eyes were focused on the fire and narrowed, his hands out to warm, or at the very least pretend he was cold so he wouldn't have to look at the human.

Sayne in the meantime could only chuckle, looking to the small flustered creature with some amount of interest. He saw that tail flicking from side to side and wondered if that was a tell-tale sign of being lost in thought for the kobold. Without asking or being prompted he put his arms around the kobold, giving him a soft squeeze for support. He could feel the little guy tense in his arms, and yet for some reason Kaep said not a word and neither did he push away from the embrace. In fact, the kobold instead turned in his arms and looked up into his eyes. Sayne blinked then as he saw the kobold mouth something he couldn't hear. He brought his head low, brow raised as he tried to catch what the kobold had said, "Come aga--" his words were interrupted as suddenly the kobold latched onto his shoulders with both arms, the little creature's mouth planted firmly against his own.

For a moment the hunter wasn't sure of what to make of the kobold's sudden embrace and kiss. He had even thought perhaps that the kobold was uncertain of even allowing the human to stay the night, and now he found himself nose to snout with the kobold, the monster's tongue darting against his own lips. Soon enough Sayne brought his mouth open to accept that tongue, the kiss between them deepening as he furthered lowered himself to allow the kobold to latch on properly.

When their lips parted Kaep was the first to speak in a breathy tone, "I...I'm sorry, you've just been so nice and I need the attention, I just--," Kaep's voice was cut off by another kiss, this time initiated by the hunter, their mouths interlocked for another brief kiss before pulling away.

Quietly the hunter backed away, his eyes shut as he began stripping from his clothing. Words didn't need to be said now. The kobold had expressed everything needed to be said in that single kiss, and Sayne had returned the affection with a kiss of his own. When his eyes opened he saw that the kobold was returning that silent proposal with an answer by shuffling out of what little clothing he wore as well.

When both were nude in the cool night air, Sayne was the first to take a step forward. The kobold seemed a bit shy, his eyes darting away even though he had been the one to initiate the first kiss. At that moment Sayne examined the kobold, impressed with how such a small creature could have such impressive curves, especially for a male. Already his cock was growing firm with anticipation, his hand clutching upon his member to press it against the kobold's cheek to give him a little surprise.

Kaep's eyes widened as he looked to that thick thing against his cheek. The human's cock was something like he had never seen. Thick and long like his snout, and the warmth that radiated from that cock pressed through his scales. His own meager member was from the situation and the sudden contact of that thing upon his cheek. Out here alone, it had been so long since he had seen another nude, had been so close to someone, and now he found himself nervous. Typically back home he had been the dominant one, the one to take charge, but certainly, the human wouldn't be into that, especially with him pressing his girth against Kaep's cheek. With tremble digits he moved a hand to grip upon the human's cock, feeling over the foreskin as he turned to face what him was the largest cock he had ever seen.

Tugging back the human's cock he began to lick at the tip, stroking it lightly, experimenting with it before actually suckling on the tip, bringing some of it inside. The warmth against his tongue, the way the human moaned when he brought himself further upon that cock, all of that brought the kobold's body to a shudder, Kaep nearly purring as he pushed himself further and further on that cock much to the surprise of the hunter who was gripping onto Kaep's horns and gasping as the kobold nearly took every single inch of his cock without a problem. Kaep was very glad to have a kobold's gag reflex there, as in none at all, as he pressed his snout to the human's crotch, his long tongue coiling around that warm member. There he stayed still, feeling the human's cock twitching and throbbing against his tongue. Kaep practically drooled around that thick thing as he hugged around Sayne's waist. He wanted nothing more than to stay there against that cock, keeping it firmly in maw, he loved the warmth, the warmth of another body against him and inside of his mouth and he needed more, but rather than staying still, he began to bob his head back and forth, accepting the human's cock against his tongue and throat as he moved rapidly, purring as the human gasped out and shuddered, that cock dripping and twitching in response.

Gladly, the kobold swallowed every little drop of pre without pause, eyes shut as he worked around that cock lovingly, his tongue coiling and twisting as he bobbed back and forth upon the human's member. It was then that the human began to thrust at the kobold's maw. In response the kobold simply stood still, eyes open as he watched the hunter thrust again and again inside of his maw with a force that let the kobold know his place. Kaep then felt his maw and throat filled with hot cum, his eyes half-lidded as he purred around that cock and swallowed every little bit of seed that the human had to offer.

Sayne's knees nearly buckled from the treatment his little kobold was providing. Hand upon the kobold's horn he steadied himself and breathed out, straightening himself before pulling his cock slowly free of that suckling maw. The kobold below him let out a gasp, his tongue hanging out as he looked up to Sayne with a lust drunk gaze. The hunter stared down at the kobold dumbfounded, unsure of what to say at the sudden burst of passion and lust. Now the kobold further surprised Sayne by lying back and spreading his legs, tail swishing from back and forth, not a sign of the bashful looks he had given when they had first begun. Going into it without any worry, he knelt and leaned to the kobold, licking at that puckered hole he was about to penetrate. He brought his tongue around and against it, pushing into that hole lightly before pulling free. Sayne was soon hard enough again and ready to get inside of that tight hole. He brought himself up, pressing the tip of his cock against the kobold's hole, pressing and pushing to it to try and get inside with furious determination.

Kaep gasped out and felt his rear stretch out. Immediately he felt a mixture of pain and heat flood his rear, that thick cock that had been so easy for his mouth to hold was now stretching his rear wide. With just the tip and a little bit more inside he felt as though his stomach were on fire and full of that cock, but it the connection, he needed the connection of another being and so he brought himself closer to the human groaning out as he did so. His noises and motions kept the human thrusting to his rear, bringing more and more of that cock inside his tight hole. Kaep squirmed, his tail lashing underneath as he felt more and more pleasure touching his form. The pain being drowned out by the desire and warmth brought upon by the human's body.

There in the grass the human and the kobold laid, the human's cock digging into the kobold, deeper and deeper with every thrust. The little kobold's toes curled in and his claws raked across the human's sides as he pulled himself closer to the hunter. Kaep moaned out and shuddered, his body being ravaged by sensation after sensation. The hunter himself grunted, Sayne's cock twitching and throbbing, already dripping with pre again from working himself so firmly inside of the kobold's rear. Soon enough his cock was fully inside of the kobold's tight hole, the crackling of the fire drowned out by the simple sounds of his balls slapping upon the kobold's rear as he pushed and thrust himself all the way in. At this point the kobold's own cock began to twitch violently, cum spurting out all over his own stomach and chest as he let out a hiss of a moan that echoed in the forest around them. Just the same the human clutched at the kobold, pulling him close as he buried himself once more inside of that tight hole, cock twitching as he released a thick load.

Kaep shuddered and breathed out as he felt warmth fill his insides. His head swam with sensations that he had not known for so long. The hunter collapsed upon the kobold with a grunt, grinning from ear to ear as Kaep squeaked and squirmed, their bodies pressed tight against one another's. Kaep felt as if he should say something, as their time was passing, but as he simply laid there underneath the human he had just made love with, he heard the soft sound of snoring at his ear. Turning his head he realized that the human was blissfully asleep. Hopefully tomorrow they would have time to chat a bit more, but for now, the feeling of a warm body upon his was far too blissful for him to care about anything else, even the pressure upon him caused by a larger creature lying on top of him. With a sigh he nestled himself against the human and shut his eyes. A peaceful and happy rest would find him as finally, he found himself no longer alone.
