First test and a Dead world part two
First test a Dead world Part Two
By Tyron Starmage with help from Zinnath.
Here the second part to the story I hope you enjoy.
"Sauran can you tell me what this means or do you need some kind to translator." Tyron asks as he looks around the area to see if he can find anymore writing.
"It's going to take me some time to see if I can't translate this with any luck you'll be able to find some more writing to give me a base to work from. I'll go through the known language we have already and see if I can find something close." Sauran says as Tyron notice the mic seem to turn off, he begins going through all the languages trying to find something close. Turning from the odd-looking marks, he begins to make his way down the set of stairs. After what seem like hours, he reaches what he guesses to be the ground floor as there only seems to be two more floors below him. As he went down the stairs, he made sure to scan all the odd-looking markings found in hope of understanding what they mean. Walking over to the door, he steps out into what looks to be a large lobby, he flashes the light around as he looks to get a better feel for the space. Sure enough, it seems to be the lobby of the building but unlike upstairs, there is no sand down here. Shining the light around he notices just like the rest of the building all the technology is missing, the only thing that seems to be left are the lights in the ceiling, he shakes his head as he walks up to the recipients desk area at the front of the lobby. He notices there are some more writing around here, using his scanner he makes user Sauran gets a copy of this I might help him unlock the language.
He turns using his light to pierce the darkness around him it an eerie silence that you would almost expect to hear in a horror movie. Like right before the killer sneaks up on you and drives the eleven-inch blade through your back. He shakes his head as he works to get the dark thought out of his head as he looks into the darkness. With a sigh he heads for the front door to the building. He notices something a bit odd that the door was smashed by something coming into the building. He looks around at some of the other glass and notices they seem to be ok just the doors are broken. Shaking his head, he steps out into the darkness of the street. Tyron shines his light around, he watches as the darkness seem to eat the light as he goes out into the dark void. Walking down what seems to be a sidewalk he notices the people who build this must have been advanced, but there seems to no sign of any kind of high tech, which seems a bit odd, it's almost as if someone came along and took it all way. The saurian uses his scanner to record all that he sees as the walks in the lonesome darkness. The air seems a bit cool but there does not seem to be any real moister in the air, it's a dry coolness likes nothing he ever felt before. Walking down the road a bit more he hears a soft beep in his earpiece. "Go ahead," he says as he waits to see who beeped him and what they might need.
"This is Sauran; I'm picking up a very faint energy reading just up the road from you in one of the buildings on your left. You can't miss it from the scan I've taken; it seems that it might have been a café or something like that." Sauran says as he stays on the line in case he might need something else from him.
"Understood, I'm heading over there now." Tyron says as he uses his flashlight to see if he can see the shop in question from where he is. The saurian sighs softly as he notices he can't see but a few feet in this gloomy darkness. Even with a semi high powered light, the darkness just seems to eat up the light as I try to see through it. Shaking his head he keeps walking down the sidewalk, he comes across the building Sauran was talking about, he flashes his light around as he notices it seem something all but ripped the doors off this building too. Stepping into the shop he notices shards of glass on the inside of the café and points his light to the window next to the entrance to find what looks like someone threw something inside or someone jumped through it, as if chasing someone. Tyron uses his scanner to find the faint power source; the scanner shows it to be on the far side of the room so he makes his way over there. Once Tyron gets close he notices a small disc on the table, he picks it up; it is about two inches across by about an inch in height. Sitting it back down, he takes a few scans of it before putting the scanner down before picking the disc up again. He begins to look over it to see if there is some way of turning it on, Tyron notices a small button on the side and pushes it, as he does a hologram appears above the disc. He sets the disc down, the figure of what he guesses to be a young looking humanoid male lizard. He is wearing what looks like a robe with a hood, as he speaks he motions with his hands. He has greenish color skin with blue eyes. "Sauran have you figure out the language yet?" he asks as he watches the figure, listening to him speak but having not idea what it is he is saying. He takes a sit at the table as he just watches his actions and hopes to figure some of what he is saying.
"No but if you keep that playing I think I can translate their language it will take a few but hearing them talk is a lot easier to find a close match." Sauran says as he goes quiet again as he begins to search for a match.
"Understood", he says as he thinks every once in a while he can almost make out a word or two. He shakes his head softly as he uses his flashlight to look around the room. The café looks very much like a café you would see back on his home world. He shivers a little, as he can almost hear the people still moving around in this room. He blinks a few times then turns back to look at the hologram.
As the message reset he notices he can understand what the person is saying to him. "The year is 2015 I'm not sure if anyone will ever get this message but I'm going to try and leave a message behind for those to know what happened to us. I don't know if anyone will ever find this message but if some brave soul does here's our story. It only started about a year and a half ago; there was some kind of explosion on the far side of the planet. The explosion sent a shock wave around the planet causing our atmosphere to change to the odd-looking yellow you see now. No one really noticed anything wrong at first but with the first few weeks after the explosion people started to notice it was getting hotter. The government tried to cover it all up saying there was no explosion there was nothing wrong. Then after about six months, most of the plants and animal life around the planet began to die off in masses. For some unknown reason whatever was killing the plants and animals doesn't seem to have any effect on us, which was a good and bad thing as it soon turns out. Another six months later is when the water all over our world started to run out, we noticed it did not rain as much and it got to the point where even the oceans were drying up. With our water supply starting to run low people began to fight each for water. Things went bad and all out war sent loose for the remaining water. That is when someone in the government came up with the idea to make a computer system to help govern over the remaining water.
That seemed like a good idea at first, the fighting stopped but it took a while. Things were going great for about a year then people started noticing odd things. At first people really thought nothing of it but then it got worse. It started out with the computer and other small thing disappearing. Then large piece of technology began to disappear. That's when the horror began, people started disappearing during the night, no one really had any idea what might have happened to them. Then we learned what happened to them, our computer system that was meant to watch over our water supply went mad. It started out small with drones attacking people, but then it grew into bigger robots and then to our horror we saw our own people attacking us. Only they were now part robot; the computer turned them into weapons to use against us. We have been battling the computer now for over two years, there are very few of us left. We have one last plan that might end up saving those who are left. I can't say what this plan will be; all I can say is look for us deep in the halls of the dead." With that the message turns off leaving just the disc as if he found it before.
"I hope you recorded all of that because I'm sure a lot of people will want to know what happened here when we come back." Tyron says as he picks up the disc and notices the message can be played again if it needs to be. He then wonders why it didn't turn off the last time he ran through the whole message.
"Yes I got it all translated. I'm going over it as we speak to see if I can figure the written language using this." Sauran says as he switches so that there's no feedback from him going over what he need to look over. Somewhere deep into the darkness of the city the sounds of something coming to life after a long sleep can be heard.
Zinnath roams down the hallway checking all the rooms as he goes. Coming to the end of the hallway, he notices a door with some writing beside it. Scanning the door, he pulls his pack off his back as he reaches into his pack, pulls out a coalmines type flashlight and puts the band around his head as he turns it on. Putting his hand held light back into his pack he puts the backpack onto his back as he opens the door. Stepping onto the stairwell, he looks down at what seem like an endless miles of darkness both up and down. Heading down the stairs, he notices what looks like red spots on the wall along with the stairs, the human stops as he runs his scanner over the spots, he read the reading and notices it seem to be dried blood. He looks down at the stairs as he sees what seems to be a trail of blood running down the stairs, He follows the trail to where it came from on the next floor down he notices a body. He walks over to it, kneels down and runs his scanner over the body. All that remains is the skeleton of the lizard; he is wearing what looks to be some kind of jump suit. Zinnath sighs as he looks at the body noticing a good size whole through the jump suit right about where the heart might have been.
He stands up again as he knows there nothing he can do for the poor soul laying before him. Walking down the stairs, he steps on some broken glass lying on the stairs as he walks by. Taking a few more steps, the human notices what seem to be piece of metal laying about the steps just below him. He runs his scanner over it as he notices the metal seem to have pieces of organic material on attached to it. He scratches his head as he tries to figure out what could this be from. Shaking his head softly he keeps walking down the stairs as he can't help but get the feeling something or someone is watching him, every once in a while he turns to look over his shoulder and shivers a bit as the darkness begin to play tricks on him. He sighs softly as he reaches to the lobby floor, opening the door he steps out into the large area. As he does, he looks behind himself one more time to make sure the body of the lizard is not following him. He almost lies to himself as he thinks the dead might be walking and coming after him. As he walks, he noticed the blood trail going across the floor again heading out into the front of the building. As he follows it, he notices it stops just short of the broken doors. He looks around a bit and notices a set of what looks like fresh saurian prints leading out of the building. Feeling a bit unease from being alone in the darkness, after finding the body he quickly makes his way out of the building. Reaching sideways, Zinnath sighs softly as he begins to scan again looking to see if he can find anything else of use. As he looks down at the dust on the ground and notices at what looks like spots of red hidden in the dust. Shake his head the human works on not thinking about what happened to cause the blood to be there. Following the foot prints he notice they lead into a building that looks like a café. Seeing Tyron sitting by a table seeming to study something, Zinnath makes his way over to him. Tyron's ears twitch a bit at hearing someone; he quickly reaches to his left hip. Pulling off his blaster, he turns pointing it at Zinnath who quickly put his hands up.
"Don't shoot it only me," Zinnath says looking a bit worried about having a whole shot through his body.
"Sorry this darkness has a way of making someone a little jumpy." Tyron says as he put his blaster back into his holder. Turning back, he looks over the disc, and then looks at Zinnath. "I found this it's a message here in what looks to be a café; I'll show it to you once we make it back to camp. I guess since you found me here Devlin well sooner or later end come here as well." He says as he watches Zinnath join him at the table, pulling out a seat he sits down besides Tyron as he hands him the disk to study.
"Well I found one of the people who lived here; well I should say what was left of him." Zinnath says as he updates his findings into Tyron scanner so he can read over them. Tyron begins to look over the data as Zinnath begins to study the disc Tyron handed him.
Devlin walks down the hallway, finds much like everyone else, a whole lot of nothing but dust. Finding the door to the stairs, he opens it, stepping in he uses his flashlight to look around a bit. He sniffs the air and notices a weird smell almost like something had died long ago. He shivers a bit at the smell while trying to see into the dark void that seems to want to swallow him up. Walking down the stairs, he notices some of the red spot on the stairs. Then on about the third landing down he comes across a large blood simmer on the wall that looks like someone slid down the wall. He shivers a bit as he feels the darkness start to play tricks on the dragon. Slowly he makes his way down the hallway as he looks around with his flashlight in one hand and his scanner with the other. Walking down a few more flights of stairs, he starts to notice a weird smell as he comes around the next landing and finds out what it was the hard way. As he steps onto the landing, he bumps into the hand of one of the lizard people who seem to have been hanging upside down. The rope or whatever that had been holding the body up seems to have weakened over the years of hanging. Devlin feels something brush against him, he turns just in time to have the body come falling down on top of him. The body and Devlin end up crashing to the floor of the landing.
He lets out his roar like scream as he works on getting out from under the body. Once free, he looks at it and notices that it has been dead for years and that most of the skin seems to be missing from the body. What's left seem to look like metal that in the place of where the bone and skin should be. He works on picking up his scanner and his flashlight as he takes a few scans of the body before hurrying down the rest of the stairs. Reaching the ground floor he comes flying out as he comes sliding to a halt, he turns around looking at the door as if almost daring something to come out after him. He stands there for a few and works on catching his breath. He stands there for a few, as it seems the darkness itself is trying to eat him; he decides it is time to move. Walking across the lobby, he notices the footprints of both a saurian and a human. Figuring if he follows them he will run into them somewhere out in the dark abyss. Walking over to the door, he looks a bit puzzled at first at what might have done this, and then he remembers the body. Shaking his head, he works to put that thought of the body falling on him out of his head. Stepping out onto the sidewalk, he looks down following the footprints. Every once in a while he shines his light around as he can't help but feel there something watching in the darkness. Walking a bit faster he finds that the tracks seem to lead into what one could call a café. Stepping inside he notices the light of the two he was looking for at a table on the other side of the room.
Tyron's ears twitch as he hear the sound of feet coming his way, he start to reach for his blaster but stops as he notice they sound a lot like dragon feet. He turns to look at the door to the café as he sees Devlin walking in looking a bit unnerved. Shining his light around the room, he makes his way over to the two of them, pulling out a chair he sits down. "You look like you ran into a ghost, what happened to you?" Tyron asks as he notices the poor dragon seem to be shaking a little from what happened.
"A ghost no but I did have what I would guess to be a cyborg lizard fall on top of me on the way here. It was in the stairwell that I was walking down; it has been dead for a long time. But still having a dead body fall on you is enough to make everyone a bit uneasy." Devlin says as he looks between the two as he waits to see if they are going to start laughing at this.
"Hmmm well I guess it true about the cyborgs then; I got a message from the people who used to live here. It's on this disc I show you once we back at camp I feel a bit uneasy being out in the open likes this." Tyron says as he turns looking around the room using his light also because he too gets the feeling their being watched from the darkness.
"Were done, lets head back to camp, we can look at the message and go over the data we've gotten while making our way there. Then we can work on figuring out what our next move might be. Since it would seem what ever happened here wasn't a quick and easy death. I would see people were murdered and I for one don't feel easy about that." Zinnath says as he looks around as if he is looking for a ghost to come out of the darkness to attack them.
"Sound like a plan to me, this place is making me a bit jumpy and that is not easy too." Tyron says as he stands up, shining his light once more, he makes his way for the door. With the other two following right behind him, reaching the street, they begin to make their way back to camp.
Meanwhile on the far side of town in a well-hidden area in a large room, the computer console sits with lights flashing across from it as it comes up to semi full power. The rest of the computer seems to tower over the console disappearing into the darkness above. Out of the semi, darkness around the systems comes a light as the computers hologram appears. At first, it is just a light but then it becomes solid, the lizard looks around the semi dark room with a sigh. With a wave of his hand some of the light in the room goes on banishing the darkness. Some of the light works just fine while others just blink and flicker, as they seem to only party working. The lizard let out a yawns as it stretches a little while looking around the room. "Hmmm I been asleep for three hundred years now," he says as he looks down at the skeleton of a lizard working on the controls to the computer. "You thought you could turn me off didn't you hmmm? Well guess what you where wrong! I put myself in sleep mode before you could finish shutting me down. And by the looks of it one of my cyborgs killed you before you could finish your work." He says with a laugh as he pulls his right foot back and kicks the skeleton sending the bones flying across the room.
Turning around he looks at the power levels with a sigh, "it would seem my solar collector is under the sand. I guess I will have to see if any of my repair drones are still working after all this time. Then see if I can raise the solar collector up above the sand level." The hologram says to himself as he set about seeing what systems are working and which need repair. "No I don't have enough power to get the light and scanner working within the city. I know someone is out there and I will not have them getting in the way of my machine empire. They WILL become one of my cyborg slaves for setting foot within MY EMPIRE!" He says as he sets about raising the solar collector out of the sand; as he comes up two drones begin to make repairs to the semi-damaged collector. The drones look like scorpions they crawl across the surface of the collector making repairs. The hologram laughs evilly as he notices he is only getting partial power. Turning back, he walks over to the cyborg laying dead on the floor against the wall. "What a waste of good parts now I need to figure out a way to get a new CPU into these bodies, since it would seem the brain has rotted away." Shaking his head he kneels down as he start looking over the skull as he works on figuring if he can get a small computer brain into the space without causing damage to the skull itself. A sinister smile slowly crosses his muzzle as he stands up as a thought begins to form in his mind. Walking back over to the system, he begins to reactive some of the drones around his room. Once their working again he sets them to work on repairing the damage done by time to his control room.
"I need more power! I want to know what is going on out there in MY CITY! I want to know if it's the lizards coming back to get revenge for what I did to them three hundred years ago." He growls as evil he can. "Still it's going to take a few hours before the power is back up to full again." He sighs as he kicks the rib cage of the male who tried to stop him. The cage flies across the room as it smashes onto the wall across the room. He turns disappearing as he works on getting his drone and other things working right again.
Meanwhile Tyron and his group work on making their way back to camp as they keep hearing what sound like machines trying to power up in the darkness. They keep walking until they come to the floor on which their camp was set. Stepping out of the stairwell, they shine their lights around as if looking for anything out of place in the darkness. Reaching to their campsite, they turn on the light as Tyron closes the door, making sure to lock it also. Walking over to his gear, he slides his pack off his back putting it with the first of the gear. Taking his goggles in hand, he slides them off his head as he throws them down on the bags. Unhooking the cloak, he slides it off his shoulder laying it down on top of the bags. Cracking his neck he sighs softly as for the first time in a while, he doesn't feel like something is watching him. Stretching out a bit he walks over to the bed, sitting down as he watches the other two.
Zinnath slides the light from his head and sets it down with his bags. Unhooking his cloak, he slides it from his shoulder as he lays it down on his bags. Removing his goggles, he throws them down on top of his bags, walks over to the portable cooking stove and thinks about what to make for dinner. Tyron gets up from the bed as he walks over to pull a pad out of his bags, walking back over to the bed he works on uploading the data they got. Zinnath shakes his head with a soft chuckles as he figures Tyron is going to be glued to that pad for a while. Walking over to the bags with their food in it, he looks over what they brought. He checks out the cold bag pack as it keeps stuff just as cold as in a refrigerator and keeps things good just as long. Seeing some leftover stew and there being enough for everyone he decides to go a head and start dinner. Devlin lays down his flashlight in his bag as he removes his goggles. Throwing them on top of the bag with his flashlight, he unhooks his cloak laying it on top of all that stuff. With a soft sighs he turns walking over to the bed, he looks at Tyron and sighs again as he notice him looking over the data. Tyron ears twitch as he hears the soft sigh; he looks up from his pad to smile softly at Devlin.
"Will since your both here I figure I'll show you this disc I found in what I'm guessing to be the café." Tyron says as he picks up the small disc, turning it on he begins to give the message it was programmed to play. After the message finish, Devlin walks over getting a pad out of his pack. Loading the data, they all got into the pad he searches through it looking for the body that landed on him.
"I think I found one of the cyborgs if you check out the data." Devlin says as he looks over it himself, Zinnath walk over pulling his own pad out. Getting the data upload, he begins to read over it. Then slowly start to get a worried look as he notice that these where living people turned into machines.
"Who ever did this is one sick person to take living people and turn them into this. I only hope that there is nothing like this some how still walking around in the dark." Zinnath says as s shiver run up the length of his spine, he looks over at the other two. Devlin shakes his head softly as he read over the data on them while Tyron seems to look like he wants to bite someone. Zinnath sits walks over as he stirs dinner while looking over the data they collected.
"What I wonder about is if that computer the disk talked about is still out there somewhere, and if it is, does it still work or has time destroyed it? The question is what if it is working what are we going to do about it, since look at what it did to the people of this world." Devlin says looking over at Tyron with a questionable look on his muzzle.
"Well if that computer is working it would have a record of what happened here. The only trouble would be is if the computer is fully working and wants to kill us." Tyron says looking at the pad before going over the data in hopes of finding something useful. Zinnath stirs dinner as he listens to what they have to say about the computer and the trouble they might be in.
"Well, I for one don't wish to spend the rest of my life as one of those walking tin men, so if that computer is working and tries to kill us, I say it's either it or us. Sorry, there ." Zinnath says with what almost sounds like a growl at the end of his statement.
Tyron chuckles softly as he notices the soft sounding growl come from Zinnath. "You keep talking like that and your going to get your self into trouble." He says with a soft laugh as he looks over at Zinnath.
Zinnath looks over at Tyron with this puzzle look on his face. Which causes Tyron to start laughing uncontrollably, "What is so fun anyways?" Zinnath says as he looks over at the rex, he thinks about finding something to throw at him but notices he does not really have anything at hand. "Just wait mister I'll find out what was so funny then your going to get it." Zinnath says as he turns his back to the rex, he stands there trying to figure out what was so damn funny.
Tyron laughs softly as he looks over at Zinnath, "promise, promise, you seem to like to say that but you never doing anything about it." He says with a soft laugh while trying to look all innocent. Zinnath just hisses softly as he shakes his head, decides it is better to end this battle now weather than get drag into it. Tyron chuckles softly as he watches Devlin walk over to the bed and lay down on his belly as he reads over the pad before him. Tyron yawns softly as he has no idea if its day or night outside since it seems to always night in here. Standing up he slides off his shirt throwing it over with the rest of his gear. Undoing the button on his pants and unzips them, and then works on sliding them off. Getting the off he throw them on the bags, he sighs softly as he walks back over to the bed. Zinnath hearing the bed making noise as Tyron climbs off it, looks over and smiles as he watches the saurian undress. As he slides off his pants he feel his own pants getting a little on the tight side. He shakes his head softly as he thinks to himself this is no place to be doing that kind of thing, we have no idea what might be out there in the darkness. Tyron walks back over laying down on the bed as Devlin looks up at him with a smile on his muzzle. He also thinks about maybe pouncing on the rex but remembers what happened earlier and decides it is best not to do anything that might end up with someone crashing the party in the middle of it. Picking up his pad, he starts to look over the data again as he scratches his right leg right below his balls.
Zinnath looks down at the stew then brings it up giving it a taste to much sure it taste right but also to check to see if it's warm enough for everyone to eat before letting everyone know its ready. Finding it taste ok he moves over to pull out three bowls, filling them up he put a spoon in each one. Smelling the food, Tyron looks over at Zinnath as he notices him serving up dinner. Sitting up he takes the bowl from Zinnath as he hands it to him. He thanks him as he takes a spoon full giving it a tasted. Devlin heard Tyron shift look up to see Zinnath bring them dinner, sitting up he takes the bowl from him he thanks him. Walking back over he picks up his bowl before joining the two to eat his dinner. They all eat while finishing reading over the data they collected through their trips along with some data that Sauran picked up while he was scanning the area. Finishing up with his meal Tyron yawns softly as he gets up putting the bowl over with the cooking supplies. Opening a bag meant to put dirty dishes he places it inside before returning to the airbed. Sitting down he start to think about calling it a night, he looks at the other two as he notices them finishing up.
Standing up they walk over putting their bowls away, "I don't know about you two but I think I'm ready for some sleep, its been a long day and I almost bet tomorrow going to be an even longer day." Tyron says pulling the covers back on the bed, sitting down he wait to see if the other two are ready for bed also.
"Sound like a plan we have no idea what the morning will bring us." Zinnath says walking over to the bed they set up, pulling off his shoes, putting them down beside the bed, he reaches up pulling of his shirt and lays it beside the bed, he begins to unbutton then unzip his pants. Sliding them off he smiles at Tyron as he stand there fully naked his four inches of maleness laying limp against his nice looking human balls. Sitting down besides Tyron he looks over at Devlin as he wonders if he is going to join them.
"Devlin smiles softly at the two as he sees them sitting there naked getting ready for bed. "Well it has been a long day and I for one I'm ready for it to end." Pulling of his t-shirt, he lays it on the floor beside the bed with Zinnath's clothing. Unbuttoning his pants then unzipping them he slides them off as he stands there with his seven inches of limp dragon hood, which is lying, on his low hanging dragon balls. Walking around to the other side of the bed and lays down. Sitting down he lays down putting his head on the pillow, looking over at Tyron he smiles softly at him.
"Well I'll turn the light down so we can sleep, but don't worry I'll leave them up enough so that it not totally dark in here." Tyron says getting up off the bed, walks over to the light he turn them down until there is just barely light in the room. Walking back to the bed he joins the other two who are already lying down. Clawing into bed with them, he pulls his covers over himself as Zinnath moves closer to Tyron. Putting his hand on Tyron's chest, he closes his eyes as he lays his arm across his body. Closing his eye, he sighs softly as he works on falling asleep. Devlin rolls over onto his side as he nuzzles Tyron softly, crawling up closer to him and cuddles with him as he to works on sleeping. Tyron lays there listening to the two people laying on him as if he were a lovable huggable teddy bear. He sighs as he starts to think about the things that happened today.
Morning comes to the dead city even if you couldn't tell from all the darkness. Across the city at the hidden computer base the hologram appears. As he becomes solid, stretches and yawns softly, looking around he grins sinisterly. "Mmm morning already," he says looking around the room that is his command center. The hologram smiles evilly as he goes over the system, "oh good it would seem that I'm up to seventy percent strength already." He chuckles evilly. "Time to get this party started," he says as he closes his eyes. The lights in the room only partly come on as some of them short out and end up blowing out from old age. He opens his eyes as he hears the broken lights sparking above his head. He sighs softly as he looks up, "it would seem age and the damn Arkavens have done more damage to my base than I thought." He shakes his head softly as he works on summoning some of his worker drones to repair the damage. "Now then let's see about getting the rest of the city on line so that I can find out who is in my city." Closing his eyes the lights all around the city start to come on but many of them end up blowing out causing sparks to fly everywhere at the short out.
He growls angrily as he notices ninety percent of his sensors are off line. "Damn they damaged most of the sensor around the city; it looks like I'm going to end up having to do this the hard way." He closes his eyes as he works on tracking down all this drones and check to see how many are still on line. He finds that only about fifteen percent are even still working. "Dammit this is going to take me days if not weeks to get everything back up to full strength. If it is the Arkavens, I well make sure they suffer for days before I kill them." He says growling loudly as he turns around looking at the control panel. Taking about half of what working drones he has he sends them off to search the city for those who have invaded it. Taking the rest, he calls them into his command center to begin repairs of his damage systems and lights. "It would seem that about sixty percent of the light in the city are working, the rest either have been broken or blew up from old age, that shouldn't be any trouble for my drones. They can see in the dark with no trouble like any an Arkavens found out all those years ago." He says reaching up he rubs his forehead thinking about all the work he has ahead of him, an evil grin can be seen on his muzzle.
