Pushing ALL the Right Buttons!
This is a story written for an image I posted on FA some months back, here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10948243/ It features consensual anal vore performed in a non-sexual - but still pleasurable! - way.
The Ultimate Chimera 2.0, the nicer 'little brother' to the original Ultimate Chimera (featured in the game Mother 3) and my character Charem the Charmeleon both need to escape from an evil Pigmask testing lab! However, while 2.0 is impervious from most forms of harm, Charem doesn't have the same luck. Fortunately, 2.0 hatches a clever - and slimy! - plan to protect his scaly friend...
THE ULTIMATE CHIMERA. Its name alone sounds imposing, and that notion is matched by its appearance and behavior. Impossibly-large-mouthed, and ready to attack and devour anyone on sight, the pinkish creature truly set fear into anyone's hearts. The fact that even its creators could not contain it in the Chimera Laboratory in which it was built, that not even all its Pigmask guards could stop it as it ran rampant, was a testament to this creature's sheer power - namely in its mighty jaws. Even its 'crippling' weakness, the button on its back that turns off the battery-powered monster, is but a temporary setback; its birdy helper would see fit to simply power him back on, none worse the wear.
But few people know that, even after the escape of this beast, the Pigmask Army saw fit to create the monster over again. Clearly, the Ultimate Chimera's power was exactly what they were hoping for, but it needed to be...a little different, so it could be better controlled. A tad less aggressive, a tad less...mouth and teeth...and they would have a winner! They considered naming their result the Almost-Ultimate Chimera, but it just didn't roll off the tongue as well. So their new beast was dubbed the Ultimate Chimera 2.0, seeing as they worked out all the bugs from the last one.
Or did they?
The Pigmask Army certainly has manpower, resources, and creativity, but at times you really must question their wisdom. Locking up their new Ultimate Chimera in the exact same (though quickly-repaired) cage as the last had broken out from, behind the exact-same (though quickly-repaired) metal door as the last had torn through, and with the exact-same (though not completely healed from their injuries) staff around as the last had mowed down... Certainly, such decisions saved time and costs than upgrading all of the laboratory's security would have done. But was it really right to make such frugal decisions?
No. Clearly, it wasn't.
The Ultimate Chimera 2.0 had little trouble repeating the actions of its predecessor. Having the same brute strength as the first Ultimate Chimera, the new model had no trouble breaking down the still-weakened cage and door locking it away. The lab's guards, still aching from the last Chimera rampage, held even less bravery than Pigmasks normally did. The squealing soldiers made not even the slightest attempt to subdue the wandering beast, instead electing to stay as far away from the imposing new Chimera as was humanly possible. So fearful were they at the sight of this monster's still-large and toothy grin, glowing eyes, and imposing figure, that the Pigmasks missed an important detail: the Ultimate Chimera 2.0 made no attempt to pursue them.
In truth, the big brute was merely confused about his situation. What was he? Where was he? Why did he have a little bird on his head, chirping occasionally? The small and dark room he had been locked up in was certainly bothersome to him, hence why he had broken out; his large frame needed some room, after all. But now, he wasn't entirely sure what to do next. While his predecessor would have attacked any other living creature on sight, 2.0's lower aggression levels left him merely amused as all the strangely-dressed and certainly-nonthreatening little people he encountered immediately squealed and flailed off in the opposite direction. He considered chasing them down, thinking it to be some sort of game of tag, but decided against it; he was built more for power than speed, after all.
Instead, 2.0 simply decided to wander around the winding rooms and corridors of this strange place he was 'born' in. There was many interesting things for him to see - operating tables, beeping and bliping machines, even a neat room with a big image of him projected on the wall! But the most interesting part of the lab for him was where he ran into other living creatures. Not silly little squealing creatures like were all over the lab, but creatures that looked all sorts of different. Big and small, thin and fat, cute and ugly - there were so many creatures for 2.0 to look at, all locked up in cages kind of like his own. He felt a certain kindred spirit to these various beasts - maybe they had been born here as well? He considered releasing them for a moment, thinking that they might be bothered by their cages much like he was his own, but most of the creatures seemed either content enough where they were, or mean and aggressive enough that 2.0 had no desire to let them out.
Well, all except one, anyways. One creature that the Ultimate Chimera 2.0 discovered in a different room, separate from the other animal rooms. There was another row of cages in here, yet all were empty...aside for one. An orange, lizard-like creature sat in it, a flickering flame dancing on the end of its tail. The creature seemed quite bored and frustrated, from what 2.0 could tell; the reptile was simply tracing its claw against the metal floor of its cage, picking at the material with obvious stress. 2.0 approached the cage and cocked his head, studying the little lizard; for some reason, the pinkish beast did not feel a kinship with this one creature, though that only made it all the more interesting. Perhaps it had not been born here, like himself and all the others?
Charem the Charmeleon continued to grind his claw against the hard cage floor, his pointy claw getting a bit filed down in the process...not that he cared much at this point. He wasn't sure what had happened; he had just been out and about in the wilderness, doing his thing, and suddenly all these pig-costumed people had swarmed out of nowhere and captured him! Now, clearly, he was in some sort of lab...and probably, his captors did not intend to do nice things to him. But for now, he was just bored out of his mind; the room he was in was basically empty, aside from the occasional person coming by to give him food. Well, at least nothing bad had happened to him yet...
The firelizard's frustrated focus on the floor started to falter as he realized...something else was in the room with him. The shiny metal floor, always fuzzily reflecting his own image, was now reflecting something...else. Something...big, and pinkish... A whoosh of hot, slightly-humid air soon washed over the front of Charem's body, making him also realize that the same 'something else' had just breathed on him through the cage bars... Hesitantly, the orange reptile looked up - only to let out a pitiful squeak at what he saw. Glowing eyes, a MASSIVELY-toothy mouth, and the huge creature it was all attached to...! The Charmeleon scooted to the very back of his cage almost immediately upon such a scary sight, gulping with wide eyes as he stared back at the staring beast.
The Ultimate Chimera 2.0 simply cocked his head at the lizard's reaction. He could understand why all the squealing people would run away from him; they were clearly always afraid of him, since they wanted to keep him locked up. But why was this also-caged, quite-different-looking creature also frightened? It was quite a puzzling thing for 2.0, but he simply shrugged to himself, his arrow-tipped tail swishing about as he came to a decision. The orange creature clearly didn't like being in its cage, and it didn't seem threatening at all. The pinkish beast would be happy to let it out.
Charem's eyes grew wider as he watched the giant monster grab the cage's front bars with those massive jaws, and then, begin to pull. The cage, while large and quite heavy, shook and jostled easily to the strength of the beast. Soon enough, the cage's front hinges gave way, the entire front wall of bars separating from the cage and being held proudly in the large creature's grinning mouth. The monster soon dropped the bars to the side, turning once again to face the Charmeleon...now, with nothing but empty air separating the two from each other.
2.0 was quite confused as he watched the lizard again. The little creature seemed even more scared now, and even with the cage open, it wasn't leaving. All the fiery reptile would have to do is walk forward, towards him, to exit the cage - it was easy, and perfectly safe. Perhaps the lizard was injured or something? The chimera tilted his head again in confusion, deciding to simply wait where he was. He didn't want to leave the little reptile alone if it was hurt or something.
The Charmeleon's fear slowly, gradually shifted to confusion. The imposing beast in front of him could simply lunge forward, devouring or killing him in one chomp...so why wasn't it doing so? He was still trapped, lest he walk right up towards those toothy jaws, and even though the firelizard could fight, he doubted he could do any real harm to such a massive monster. But...what should he do? The scary brute...actually seemed quite passive. And considering the bird atop its head, chirping peacefully as it was, was getting along just fine with it...perhaps this massive animal was more friendly...than it looked?
The chimera was quite pleased as he saw the lizard finally begin to move, the reptile slowly, though cautiously walking to the front of the cage. 2.0 grinned happily as this, his toothy smile only turning toothier as he did...but it was clear the caged creature was still quite scared, and so, the chimera simply stood still. There was no need to spook the orange little thing, after all. This patience paid off as the fire-tailed animal finally exited its cage, stepping right in front of 2.0...and, for a moment, the creature winced, as it expecting something bad to happen. Well...there was only one way for 2.0 to handle this.
If Charem's eyes had been open, he would have been able to see the large creature's jaws part open in front of him...but he still knew that's what was happening by the feeling of the beast's hot, humid breath once again hitting him. The Charmeleon shuddered, expecting his end to be nigh...when he felt something big, thick, and slimy...lap over the front of his body. Slowly, and quite gently for such a heavy thing, it trailed up his front, once, twice, three times. The firelizard...opened his eyes. Licks? He was getting...friendly licks, from the monster? In fact, that was precisely what was going on; though the wide-mawed view of the beast let him see right down its massive throat, the large creature seemed to have no intention of sending him down that tunnel, easy as it would be.
"You're...friendly, aren't you?" spoke the Charmeleon cautiously, causing the beast to pause for a moment...before targeting another gigantic lick right across the firelizard's face. "E-eep!" stammered the Pokemon, wiping his eyes clear of the thick globs or drool left behind. "I'll take that as a yes... U-um...thank you for letting me out of that cage. Are you...wanting to get out of this lab too?"
Out? 2.0 hadn't pondered that before. He was content enough to be out of his cage and room, but...was there more out there than just this place they were in? The chimera was quite curious about this concept. He didn't know much about anything, being recently created as he was, but he did know he enjoyed seeing new things. And so, he nodded to the orange little creature, his pointed tail giving a waggle.
"Great! I...really don't want to be here, heh... I need to get back where I live." explained the lizard. "I doubt I can do it alone though; this place seems pretty secure. But, maybe...could we escape together? You seem a LOT stronger than me!"
That certainly seemed reasonable to 2.0. He felt rather proud of his strength, especially after that compliment; so far he could do absolutely anything he tried to do with his power, so escaping sounded rather easy. And of course he would help the little reptile! Thus, he nodded eagerly at the idea.
"Awr, thank you! I'm Charem the Charmeleon, by the way." for the first time in quite a while, the Charmeleon smiled, and elatedly hugged the front of the chimera's big snout. "Then I guess we should be going, then. I think I remember how they got me inside here, so...I think I could backtrack that path and get us to the front entrance of this place."
And so, the unlikely duo (or trio, if you would count 2.0's little bird) began to wander down the halls, rooms, and stairs of the laboratory. The Charmeleon led the way, trying his best to remember the path out, while the Ultimate Chimera 2.0 remained close behind, ready to provide his muscle if it was needed. Not that it really WAS needed. For the labyrinthine shape of the place, the lab did not have very high security; doors would simply open whenever approached, not requiring anything like a keycard or authorization. As for the Pigmask guards and other employees? Most had already been sent into hiding by 2.0's break-out, and so they encountered nary a soul...for a good while, at least.
But, as the creatures slinked and lumbered down yet another hallway, Charem suddenly froze on the spot, causing the chimera to freeze as well. The firelizard has stared into a doorway quite eagerly, as, just as he thought, the front lobby was just on the other side - and freedom, thus, was not far away. But unfortunately, there was one obstacle. Behind the reception desk sat a Pigmask guard, his boots up on the table and his snouted helmet buried into an apparently-engaging comic book. Clearly the soldier, stationed up in the very front of the lab, had not gotten the memo about there being another Ultimate Chimera on the loose. It was, after all, quite a good comic book he was reading. But most worrisome to the Charmeleon was the futuristic and imposing-looking ray gun laying on the desk; it looked like a dangerous weapon indeed.
2.0 had shuffled up as quietly as his lumbering form could and had glanced through the doorway as well, to see what his lizard friend had paused for. Seeing that it looked like yet another one of those silly squealing people, the chimera didn't feel as concerned as the Charmeleon did. But then again, this silly person wasn't squealing like all the others...so perhaps this one was more dangerous. The big beast looked at his smaller friend, wondering what they should do next.
Charem, thinking for a moment, was about to whisper an idea...when a static-y sound came from the lobby. Looking back, the two creatures watched as the Pigmask solder dropped his comic immediately and scrambled to pick up something else on the desk...a walkie-talkie...and put it to his ear. "Ah...yes, Sir?" asked the Pigmask cautiously.
"You! What's the status on the escaped chimera?" a commanding voice boomed through the speaker.
"Um...that...happened last week, Sir." the Pigmask responded with a dumb snort, before realizing who he was talking to. "Uh... But...if the other one escapes, I'll definitely let you know, Sir!"
"IDIOT! It DID escape!" shouted the voice, causing the Pigmask to visibly wince. "Where have you been? Busy reading comics or something?"
"S-sir! Sorry Sir! Most definitely not doing that, Sir! The alarm system must be..." the Pigmask glanced up to a nearby wall, expecting to find an excuse in a dysfunctional alarm light, but only winced again as he saw that it was and HAD been working perfectly - he just hadn't noticed. "Y-yes sir! The, uh, lobby alarm is broken, so I had no way of-"
"Never MIND! You have one duty now: Don't let our newest animal escape! Recapture it if you can, but kill it on sight if you have no other choice!"
"S-sir, I..." the Pigmask gulped. "I don't know if I can stop our new Ultimate Chimera...it's almost-as-ultimate as the last one!"
"NOT the Chimera! ...Our NEWEST arrival. That flaming lizard...thing. Nobody knows just what it is, but who cares! For a non-chimera, it seems quite strong. If the Ultimate Chimera 2.0 escapes, it will make a wonderful Ultimate Chimera 3.0! But it seems its cage has been busted open, so it must be somewhere else in the lab! It'd be best to leave it alive, but if killing proves easier than capture, I'm sure we can reanimate it later..."
"Uh...so..." the soldier hummed, apparently having not caught all of that.
The voice on the other end of the radio sighed loudly. "If the Ultimate Chimera 2.0 comes by, AVOID IT. It can't be stopped anyways, and it's NOT the priority. But kill or capture the fire-lizard AT ALL COSTS! It must NOT be allowed to leave! Or VERY BAD THINGS will happen to you... GOT IT?"
"S-s-sir! Yes sir! Affirmative and roger that, sir!" the Pigmask, now sweating even outside of his helmet, turned off the radio with his shaking hard. Quickly standing from his chair, the soldier retrieved his gun from the desk and began to check it, making sure its settings were correct before he moved out to hunt his target.
Of course, Charem and 2.0 had heard the whole conversation, and the pair had slunk back from the doorway to consider what to do next.
"Damn...they really don't want me to get away, do they?..." gulped the Charmeleon, looking at his pinkish friend. "That guard sure seems scared of running into you, big guy...but, he seems even more scared of disobeying his boss. What should we do? I mean, you probably could take care of him, but he'd try his best to gun for ME, not you...and that weapon he's got looks pretty dangerous, and probably has some good range...I've never seen a gun like that, so we don't know what it's capable of. Plus...you might not be quick enough to deal with him before he tries to...deal with me. Uh, no offense of course."
2.0 mulled this over for a moment. He certainly could deal with that guard; the person was probably nearly as silly as all the others he'd run into. But then again, this one actually had a weapon. While the chimera was quite confident that it wouldn't even scratch him, he couldn't say the same for his lizard friend, who seemed...much more fragile. Charem was right; for all his power, 2.0 wasn't terribly fast on his feet, and a stealthy take-down was certainly out of the question with how loud even his quietest footsteps were.
"Rgh... ...Even if you COULD take him down fast enough, we might still have to deal with more guards..." the firelizard whispered, tail swishing indecisively as he dared peek into the lobby doorway again - only to dart his head quickly back. "Crap! Move back!"
Fortunately, another doorway was nearby, and the duo quickly slunk through it into an empty room...just in time to see the Pigmask exit into the hallway right next to were they were. The two creatures made nary a sound as the Pigmask walked tensely and slowly down the hall, the guard pausing just as he stood outside their hideaway...and reaching for his walkie talkie once again.
"Yeah, this is Delta Unit 4. ...Theta Unit's got a perimeter on the outside? And they've even got some Pork Tanks with 'em? ...Dang, this fire-animal-thing really IS important I guess. ...Yeah. No. I won't slack off just because of that. Roger that." Both Char and chimera could only hear one side of the Pigmask's new conversation, being more focused on holding their breath rather than eavesdropping. But, after what seemed like too long, the swineish solider soon returned to his patrol and headed down the corridor, thankfully forgetting to check the room he had just passed by. As soon as he had rounded a corner and his footsteps had waned, the escaping monsters slunk back out into the hall, looking about cautiously.
"...Too close." the Charmeleon remarked, taking a deep breath. "Well, that proves it... There's DEFINITELY more of 'em outside. Rrf...now what..."
The chimera looked at his friend's frustrated expression, and even if he could speak, he wouldn't have been quite sure what to say. 2.0 could try his best to block any shots that came their way, but he doubted that he could shield every attack from Charem...especially not if there was a lot of them. If only there was some better way to protect his lizard companion...or even, hide him entirely...
A new thought struck the pinkish beast's mind at that point, his glowing eyes lighting up a bit more. If his body was so strong and tough, why couldn't he protect the Charmeleon INSIDE himself? Though he inherently knew he was a battery-powered creature, 2.0 also knew he had an 'inside' as well; the lab people had given him many things to eat before, and those things had kept him energized, likely recharging that battery within in. He didn't know how it worked - he didn't know a lot of things really - but he DID know that. Still, things that he ate turned into that energy, so it might not be safe to eat his new friend. Unless...there was another way to do it...
The Charmeleon could tell an idea had struck that chimera's large noggin, and he watched his big friend attentively. "Hm? Got some idea, big guy?"
Yes...yes. The Ultimate Chimera DID have an idea now. He didn't know if it would work, but it seemed safe enough to at least try... With an affirmative grunt and a nod, 2.0, suddenly swung his body around, nearly fwapping Charem with his tail as he positioned his large butt right in front of the Pokemon. THUMP! The floor shook a bit as the mighty chimer-ass plopped to the ground, the beast flagging his tail up high and pushing a bit to gape out a particular pink port...
"Uh...woah." Charem went wide-eyed as his large companion presented that rump so...forwardly. He couldn't help but stare at it for a moment, and at that pillowy tailhole puckering in the center...almost beckoningly. "Wait...you're thinking I...climb in?" The chimera's tail waggled eagerly to the lizard's question, the strange idea quite clear now. "I...huh. Yeah...I'd be pretty safe in there...! That could work!" the Charmeleon nodded, his fiery tail curling in a bit of excitement. "Okay...no time to waste, I guess. But I'll be careful too!"
2.0 merely continued to wag, looking back curiously as he watched his friend decide how to climb in. The chimera was feeling excited about the idea too...VERY excited, in fact, though he wasn't quite sure why. He felt something warm and gooey drip from his rump as he thought more about it...and that seemed to excite him even more!
The firelizard let out a quiet gasp as the massive ass began to...drool. All the pushing the chimera was doing to open that rearport was also gushing out a decent flow of clear, gooey slime from inside... That was good; the extra lubrication would speed up the process. Unsure for a moment what the safest way to enter would be, the Char finally elected to step in feet-first, and clutched the strong chimera tail for support as he swung a leg up. His foot barely pushed against the thick hole before it sunk deep inside with a wet 'schluuuk!', the big beast's rearport soon pulsing juicily around his thigh! Both elated and impressed that his entry was so easy, the Pokemon was quick to hoist up his other leg, and though the passage was now slightly tighter, his second foot barely took much longer than the first to spelunk quite far, with a new host of slimy sounds accompanying the action.
The Ultimate Chimera felt a blush fall over his big snout as the reptile began to sink into his rump. At first he thought it was simple embaressment over how slimy his butt seemed to be increasing getting - not that the Charmeleon seemed to mind - but soon, it became clear that he was feeling...something else entirely. A new, but not unwelcome feeling. It was kind of like the pleasure he had felt when he had been fed particularly-tasty meals...but while that was a nice feeling in his mouth, this was a much STRONGER nice feeling in his butt! 2.0 couldn't help but let out a low, rumbling moan as Charem's legs wriggled around and pushed against the inside his bowels, his internal muscles not being able to help but tense up as he shivered delightedly!
SPLASH! The slimy state of the rear had been gradually increasing, certainly, but Charem was not expecting a sudden GUSH of the musky fluids to splurt out! The viscous, warm liquids coated his body and arms quite thoroughly as the chimera's rear clenched up, the previously-pliable interior clenching stiffly against the Pokemon's legs...and pulling them deeper! Coupled with the beast's fat tailhole fluttering and 'gulping' at the lizard's slick body all the while, it was almost surprising that the Charmeleon didn't get dragged in all at once; instead, the Pokemon 'only' sunk in up to his chest before the passage and pucker finally relaxed again, leaving Charem a bit...breathless!
Though he wasn't the only one. 2.0 was panting quite hard at all this, his powerful body heaving and his big tongue lolling out to the ground as he recovered. He had never felt pleasure like THIS before! Though he soon caught his breath, the chimera still let out an occasional shudder at the feeling of his half-embedded friend's body. Looking back again, he was relieved to see the Charmeleon was doing just fine, though the reptile now looked to be quite a bit slicker than before...and now seemed to be blushing just as intensely as the pinkish beast was. Since the Pokemon was now half-in, the chimera elected to raise his butt and stand up once again, the action jostling his 'rump-meal' about and nearly sending another shiver through his big form.
Charem grinned quite widely, realizing how unfamiliar his larger friend was to all this. "Well...this is our only option to getting out of here safely...but I guess it's okay if we enjoy it a little, right?" the Pokemon giggled, reaching up to rub against his 'predator's' large back-button...while being careful not to press it, since he had no idea what it did. Obviously enjoying the action, the chimera sighed lightly and let out another shiver - resulting in yet another pulling clench. At this the Charmeleon felt the copious juices inside the hot tunnel swirl around his body, his chest sinking past the puffy rear-hole just a bit further. "Oohmm... B-but, we do...need to hurry, so... Clench nice and hard...and hide me away..." Charem moaned out in a lusty tone, rubbing along the pucker's soft circumference.
Whether the beast had been told to or not, the feeling of those slick Char-hands caressing against his sensitive hole...pretty much forced that idea! Feeling another jolt of pleasure shoot up his spine, 2.0 couldn't help but flex and ripple his intestinal tract once again, another sploosh of slime flowing out from his ass...almost as if to make room. The Charmeleon 'flowed' as well, though in the OPPOSITE direction, the rest of the little scaly's body sinking very smoothly and quickly into the chimera's tush! Char-chest, Char-arms, Char-head...they had all soon disappeared into those bowels with the rest of the Pokemon's body. The beast's rearport, though hardly inconvenienced much at all by the 'stretch' the small creature had put on it, puckered VERY tight behind the lizard's horn...as if to seal its visitor safely away.
The Charmeleon wriggled softly as he was tucked away inside the very-wet, but very-plush intestinal tract. As he sunk completely inside his pinkish friend - who seemed even more pinkish on the inside! - he noticed that the rump-muscles still rippled him along quite passionately, sinking him far into the hottest depths of that long tunnel...
Though they had done their best to be stealthy, 2.0 couldn't hold back his pleasure any longer. His friend's wonderful wriggles, so very deep inside his belly...it was too much for him to bear! "ROOOOOAR!" His large jaws parted far apart as he thunderously sounded out his passion, drool flinging about the hall every which way as his ear-splitting shout filled the whole lab, even knocking bits of plaster from the nearby walls! Then...that was that. CRASH! The powerful beast's legs fell out from under him from the exertion, his heavy body landing hard enough to crack and crumble the tiled floor underneath him. Whew...! That had...felt...GREAT!
The roar and fall both surprised Charem, vibrating and bouncing him about his fleshy den. The Pokemon was quite glad he was so buried away among so many layers of chimera-flesh, which muffled that resounding bellow to hearing-friendly levels and caused that strong impact to merely jostle him. The Charmeleon couldn't help but smile to himself. His 'predator' had clearly relished the event, and while the beast now needed a moment to recover, it was likely safe; NONE of the guards would want to come this direction after such a mighty roar!
Sure enough, the two were left absolutely alone as 2.0 recollected his strength. But the big fella knew that it wasn't wise to dawdle all the same. Soon as his energy had recovered, the pinkish beast stood up once again...grinning quite happily and proudly as he felt the extra bulge and weight in his gut, and the slickness of the slime still dripping from his backside. His friend was in the safest place he could think of...perhaps not ABSOLUTELY safe, like some sort of capsule could provide, but it was still plenty safe enough. Now...there was just one last thing to do!
~ 2 hours later... ~
The uniformed Pigmask stared as sternly at his men as he could through the eye-holes of his shiny-white helmet, his cape seeming to billow in the wind just as angrily. The lesser-ranked and battered-looking Pigmasks in front of him were cowering on the grassy laboratory lawn...that is, one of the few sections left unsinged from the fizzles of electricity and fire or cluttered from the scattered remains of several once-intact Pork Tanks. The lab's front fencing had been gnarled and mangled by the vehicles' explosions, and even the once-proudly-mounted chimera head above the entrance had fallen, blocking the building's front door. ...Well...where there HAD been a door, at least. Though technically secure, it had been ripped from its hinges and thrown to the side; even its doorframe had been broken apart to better accommodate the large, powerful creature that had wedged through it. To add a final 'cherry' on top of the destructive scene, one of the front windows of the lab - the exact same one that had been broken through by their previous Ultimate Chimera weeks before - had been shattered once again by a frantic misfire on one of the tank's cannons.
"S-sir! We're so sorry, s-s-sir!" The squeals and whimperings of the grunts under the Pigmask Colonel's boots were incessant, snapping him back to his enraged focus on them.
"I SAID. AVOID. THE ULTIMATE. CHIMERA. What were you idiots THINKING?"
"W-we know that, sir...but...!" a green-uniformed Pigmask dared to respond.
"Is this really something you can throw a BUTT at?" seethed the Colonel. "My orders were SIMPLE! AVOID the CHIMERA. CAPTURE or KILL the FIRE-LIZARD."
"W-we h-h-HAD to attack 2.0! It h-had..." stammered out a pink-garbed soldier.
"It a...a..." tried to finish a blue-colored grunt.
"You could NEVER hope to stop an ULTIMATE CHIMERA! ESPECIALLY not 2.0! Hell, even -I- couldn't subdue that thing if I tried. So tell me, VERY STRAIGHT, why you chumps DECIDED it would be such a GREAT idea to WASTE our FIREPOWER -AND- RESOURCES on THAT THING, rather than, oh, I don't know, USING THEM ON THE FIRE LIZARD?"
"Th...2.0...it...D-DEVOURED the fire-lizard!" the green soldier finally managed to muster up the courage to conclude. "In...i-in...a REALLY weird way!"
The Pigmask Colonel paused his rant as the words of the lowly grunt began to register. He twitched a little.
"D-Delta Unit 3 saw the very end of it with his own eyes! Said it was like...SLURP! A-a-and the lizard was GONE!" chimed in the pink Pigmask.
"Y-your orders...s-s-sir...they...they didn't say what to do if...th-that happened! S-so we...we..."
"We tried to...stop 2.0! Just...just long enough to...reach in, or...something, to, save...or save and kill...or otherwise...um...get back..."
The stammering crowd was immediately interrupted as the Colonel pulled a gun from a cape-hidden holster, shooting at the front in front of all his men's groveling faces - sending them rearing back with a set of panicked squeals. "You...you...IDIOTS! You were supposed to OBEY my orders! Or...DISOBEY them, in this case! Or...WAIT...I...have no idea what you were supposed to do but YOU REALLY SCREWED UP AT DOING IT!"
"We...we can go after 2.0! W-we can t-try again...!" pleaded another soldier, his voice practically in tears.
"ARGH! There's no POINT now! ANYTHING that goes in that chimera's jaws will process within ONE HOUR into ENERGY-RICH COMPONENTS!"
"B-b-b-but s-s-s-sir, 2.0 a-ate the lizard the o-o-other...w-w-w-w..."
"SILENCE! NO more EXCUSES! You all are GOING to find me an animal JUST as amazing, IF NOT MORE, than that fire lizard. And until you do...you DON'T GET PAID! AND...NO MORE CLUB TITIBOO MEMBERSHIP STATUS FOR ANYBODY!"
The anguished and pitiful squeals that the Pigmask all shared could be heard quite far into the forests surrounding the lab. Not that any of the wildlife in the area paid the noise much mind, most still simply busying themselves with their own activities and goals. Though the clamor did get a bit of a shared chuckle from two particular animals travelling happily along through the brush, one comfortably inside the other's pink, large, chimera-ish gut. Though even this unusual duo paid the sounds very little attention; they were more focused on each other at this point. How good each was making the other feel, how happy they were to share a (literally!) close friendship...and how many fun adventures their explorations of the world would undoubtedly give them!
