Gus Gets Diapered at Daycare
Gus excitedly peaked through the back seat window as his mother pulled
up to the great big daycare his mother worked at. Today was "bring your
child to work day" at his mother's work, and he had never been to a
daycare since he was a much younger skunk. He was 8 years old, and he
was very excited to see what his mom did for a living. It always sounded
like so much fun! The car came to a stop in the parking lot, and the
two got out.
"Okay, come with me Gus" his mom said.
Little Gus took his mother's hand, and the two walked towards the
quaint and exciting looking daycare. It was much bigger than he had
imagined! There were two playgrounds on either side of the building,
with a great big lawn that stretched behind it all the way into some
woods in the distance. The facility itself was two floors, and stretched
for some distance. The building was very big, and looked almost like a
small school more so than a community day care center - but then again,
what did Gus know?
"Wow - this is where you work? This place must have a LOT of babies
to take care of!" Gus said as he was led towards the entrance.
"Well, not everyone that comes here is a baby. We have nurseries for
them, but we have a preschool too, and host after school programs for
kidfurs your age. We do some other things too" Gus' mom explained.
Gus smiled and nodded at his mom as they both wandered inside. The
two checked in to the front office, and soon Gus found himself
hand-in-hand with his mom as they made their way through the building.
The empty hallways echoed with the sound of giggling and playing. Music
could be heard in the distance, but he couldn't figure out where. It got
him excited, and he wondered if he wasn't too old to join in the fun!
Maybe he could meet a new friend?
"Alright, here we are! Ready to see what Momma does?" Gus' mom
playfully said as they approached a nearby door. Gus excited nodded!
With a quick turn of the knob, the door swung open - and inside, Gus
was blinded by a sunny, happy daycare filled with bright colors, toys,
and exciting decorations. Cubs that were much younger than him giggled
and ran around, shouting and laughing as they played together. Some were
off to themselves, painting or looking in picture books. But no matter
what they were doing, they all stopped and stared in Gus and his
mother's direction - and all cheered as they entered!
"Hello everyone!" his mom happily responded to the applause.
The two entered, Gus was introduced - and all was well. For some
time, he watched as his mother cared for the cubs and entertained them
with games and music. But Gus soon grew bored and inattentive. The cubs
were too young for him to play with! In fact, some of the cubs were so
young, they were still in diapers. He was happy to see his mom and her
assistant taking care of them, but after a while - he began to wish he
could join in on the fun. But he was simply too old to take part in most
of the activities.
Or so he thought.
After some time, he realized he had to go to the bathroom. Fidgeting
about in his seat, he began to squirm and get anxious. He was obviously
no stranger to using the bathroom, but this was a place he was
unfamiliar with. Sure, the nursery he was in had a private bathroom
connected to it, but it was constantly in use. He couldn't count the
times he watched his mom or her assistant wander into the private
bathroom with a cub to go potty.
"M-Mom?" Gus asked.
"Yes Gus?" his mother asked.
She seemed rushed and busy as the cubs were getting more and more excited.
"Is there a b-bathroom I can use?" Gus shyly asked.
He watched his mom glance up at the private bathroom connected to the room, and frown at the closed door.
"Can't you wait?" his mom asked, but he knew he couldn't wait much longer.
"Hmm... w-well. If you can't wait much longer, there's a public
bathroom down the hall. It'll be okay for you to use" his mom
instructed.
Suddenly Gus' heart lept. His mother wasn't coming with him!
"W-What if I get lost?" Gus whined, but his mom knew he wouldn't.
"Go to the end of the hall. You'll see the bathroom there. You can't miss it" his mom instructed.
She knew he wouldn't go anywhere he wasn't supposed to, and within
the security of the facility, nothing bad could possibly happen to her
son. He was certainly old enough to find the bathroom himself! What
could go wrong? And so, without a second thought, he excitedly exited
the room and began his journey.
The hallway outside was very quiet, unlike the loud and busy nursery
he was walking out of. On one end of the hall was a security door that
he couldn't get through, so he wandered down the far end. Gus walked
down the hall nervously and found the bathroom, but something caught his
attention before he could step inside.
Another loud room was nearby, and he curiously peaked. Inside was
another nursery - but to Gus' surprise, the cubs inside weren't little...
they were big like him!
Kidfurs as old as him were dressed like babies and even being treated
like so. He could see two adults playing and taking care of kidfurs like
him, but they were sucking on pacifiers, drinking from bottles, wearing
diapers - and more! It was a very confusing sight for the little skunk,
and he did his best to stay hidden from behind the window so that he
could investigate... but his cover was quickly blown. As he peaked through
the glass window, observing the fun - the door suddenly swung wide
open! A tall, friendly looking girl raccoon stood over him.
"What're you doing out here little guy?" she asked him.
Gus felt like he was in trouble, so he stayed quiet - but the
caregiver hardly looked intimidating. She looked around the empty halls,
and then back down at Gus. What was the little guy doing walking around
the halls all by himself? Where did he come from? Was he supposed to be
in the room he was peaking in?
"You're not gonna say anything? Where were you going? You're not in
trouble - I just want to make sure you're not lost" the raccoon said to
Gus.
"What's your name? My name is Ms. Skylar" she said.
"G-Gus" he quietly said.
Gus stayed tightlipped as shyness overwhelmed him - and the
caregiver didn't know what to think. It wasn't normal to see cubs of his
age wandering around this area of the facility; this was where the
nursery and preschool was kept - and with the exception of this special
room, no kidfurs often came here for any reason. It was natural for her
to assume Gus may have belonged there. Maybe he was new and she didn't
know? She was new after all, and only a teacher's aide, and it wasn't
uncommon for her to be kept out of the loop sometimes.
"Come in here. We don't want you wandering around out here all by
yourself" the raccoon happily invited, offering a friendly hand.
Of course, Gus knew that he should simply explain himself. What if
his mom started looking for him? But the little skunk couldn't help but
feel curious about what he was seeing. What if he knew someone in there?
Could he make a friend? What was it all about, anyway? It certainly
seemed more interesting than going back into the nursery with the REAL
babies! Gus reluctantly accepted the caretaker's hand, and was guided
inside...
At once, as he entered the room - he was blinded by sunlight pouring
in through the windows. Bright colors and happy decorations were all
around him, and soft, babyish scents filled his sensitive nose. Laughter
and the sounds of play filled his ears, and as he quickly became the
center of attention - he immediately felt smaller than he truly was.
"Who's that?" he heard someone ask.
"Now, now - let him be everyone. He's a visitor! He's come to... umm...
just hang out for a little while" he heard the caregiver explain.
Kidfurs in the room all stared in his direction with excitement and
awe - much like the babies did for him and his mom in the nursery. But
these weren't babies, and maybe he'd get to do more than just watch!
Maybe by being with those his age, he'd get to have some fun! But what
was with all the baby stuff? He'd have to get answers!
"Now you wait right here while I go find out more about you" he heard the caretaker say.
Gus' heart sank as he watched the grownup wander away from him.
Unbeknownst to Gus, the raccoon he was with was just an aide - and now
was wandering off to alert the teacher in charge of the room. He knew it
was only a matter of time before his mom found out where he was. It
would be pretty obvious, since this was the room closest to the
bathroom. He just hoped he didn't get in trouble!
"Hi, what's your name?" he heard - and poor little Gus jumped from the shock.
A friendly looking vixen, not much bigger or older than him - had
approached him from behind. Gus blushed from the jump he had made, but
the friendly girl didn't do much more than giggle lightly. She was
hardly intimidating; a cute, light yellow sundress flowed with her every
movement, and long hair hung down her shoulders. A pacifier dangled
from a clip attached to a necklace, and the soft scent of baby powder
helped him detect a diaper.
"U-Um... I'm... I'm Gus" Gus said.
"I'm Kyla!" the vixen excitedly said, flicking her long bangs from
her face and smiling wide at Gus. Of course, Gus didn't know what to say
- so he simply replied with a nervous smile.
"Are you new here?" she asked.
Gus shook his head.
"K-Kinda" he responded.
"Oh, well it's okay. Don't be shy! We're all friendly here" Kyla explained, waving her arms around about the room.
He watched as the friendly girl pranced about. Despite being as old
as he was, her mannerisms were much more like the actual babies in the
nursery his mother was working in. She seemed otherwise like any other
kidfur he'd meet, but she was much happier and friendlier than anyone
he'd remember ever seeing.
"C'monnn - let's go play a game or somethin'!" she invited, but he was much too shy.
Kyla told Gus not to be shy, but it was impossible for him not to
be. He was in a room with kids his age, all wearing diapers and acting
like babies - and he wasn't even supposed to be here! He was confused,
but he did his best to overcome it.
"S-So... ummm... w-why is... is everyone acting like babies?" Gus asked.
Kyla blinked at Gus with a strange expression before giggling.
"Why not? It's fun!" Kyla excited explained, waving her hand around the room.
Gus blushed as he observed everyone doing childish things; playing
games, playing with toys, watching silly movies - all in ways he hadn't
in as long as he could remember. He was only 8. but for the skunk, being
a baby seemed like forever ago! Surely, he missed some of the things he
used to be allowed to do. He didn't really like being as grown as he
was. At his age, he was learning how to behave and follow the rules -
but what fun was that?
The whole room seemed to be endowed with a sense of innocence and
simplicity, and although it was unfamiliar to Gus - there was something
that did not scare him away despite it's odd nature. He could think of
plenty of kids his age in school that wouldn't dare be caught in this
room, but it hardly phased him! In fact, the kids he was surrounded with
seemed incredibly friendly, and once he got over his shyness - he
wondered if he could make a friend!
"It looks like fun. I'm... umm... just new, is all" Gus said.
He watched as Kyla smiled, but suddenly, she fidgeted with a
surprised expression on her face! The vixen's eyes grew wider, and she
blushed.
"Well, like I said - everyone is nice! I'll be your first friend, if
you'd like! B-But, I um... I need to get my diapey changed. C-Can you
give me just a sec and I can show you around?" Kyla blatantly asked.
Gus' heart dropped.
"Y-You need a diaper change?" he asked.
Kyla smiled and nodded her head; mistaking Gus' surprise for curiosity.
"Yeah! You know, diapers! I'm all droopy! See?" Kyla said, before
lifting up her sundress to display her swollen and saggy diaper. It was
certainly in need of changing.
Gus was in awe, and he didn't know how to react!
"Do you need a diaper change?" Kyla then asked. Gus' eyes got bigger, and he gasped!
"M-Me! N-No! I-I'm not... I'm not... um... not wearing a diaper!" he explained.
Suddenly it was Kyla who gasped!
"Y-You're not wearing a diaper? You're gonna make a puddle in your
pants! Babies don't use the potty, remember?" Kyla explained.
Gus was at a loss for words, and found himself frozen in place - but
Kyla was persistent. In fact, his lack of diaper seemed to have a
profound affect on the vixen. She seemed almost upset by the fact that
he wasn't in one, and instantly made it a point to get him in one!
"Is everything okay over here?" he heard.
Is if out of nowhere, suddenly a grownup stood tall over both of the
kidfurs. Gus trembled as a tall, friendly looking raccoon towered over
him - the same from before. She smiled down at Gus, and then at Kyla -
simply doing her job and checking in on their wellbeing. But although
Gus was content, Kyla was not - and took it upon herself to alert the
grownup to Gus' lack of crinkles.
"Ms. Skyler - Gus isn't wearing a diaper, and mine is all droopy!" Kyla whined.
It was loud enough for many of the others to hear, and some of the
kidfurs tilted their heads in the direction of Gus, as if not wearing a
diaper wasn't normal!
"Now, now Kyla. You know that he's new. Maybe he doesn't want to
wear diapers, or maybe he doesn't like wearing them like you do" the
adult reasoned. But Kyla wouldn't hear it.
"I-I know, b-but he said he wanted to be a baby! My mommy and daddy
say that babies HAVE to wear their diapers, and this room is for babies -
right?" Kyla pouted. Gus blushed.
The adult raccoon simply grinned as she picked up Kyla like a little
toddler, and checked her diaper. Even from where Gus was standing, he
could see it was pretty obvious the little vixen was definitely in need
of a new one. Her diaper was so swollen and sagged; he wondered just how
long she had been in it!
"You DO want to be a baby too, right?" Kyla then asked, facing Gus.
Gus was reluctant to shake his head. He wasn't sure if he truly did
or not, but what he did know was that he was very confused, but very
interested in making new friends. He didn't know what it would be like
to be back in a diaper, and babied like all of the other kids - but it
didn't seem so bad. He definitely wasn't so sure if he could use the
diaper like Kyla had so pridefully done, but he knew for certain that he
never got around to finding the bathroom he originally set out for.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad?
"Do you need a diaper, Gus?" the adult asked.
Looking over at Kyla, he shyly shrugged. Although he did not speak,
the adult could see through his timidity and knew very well that he
wanted to try one.
"C'mon then - I'll fix you right up. Little Kyla here is gonna be a
little while to clean up so I'd better diaper you first!" Skylar said,
placing Kyla back on the ground. The vixen simply giggled at the
caretaker's playful tease.
Kyla excitedly observed Gus and Skylar as he was scooped right up
and carried to a nearby changing table. He couldn't believe how small he
felt, back in the arms of an adult. It had been a long time since he
was carried like a baby; it felt like forever ago! It felt strange to
him, but it was a fun ride to be carried up high like that. He could see
the whole room from way up high in Skylar's embrace!
Then, he was slowly placed down on a soft, comfortable changing
table. His heart began to race a little faster as Skylar pulled his
shirt up, and yank down his pants. They were far off from the rest of
the room, so there was a degree of privacy - but it was still a strange
feeling for Gus to be on a changing table about to be diapered.
Everything else happened so fast. A loud crinkly diaper, fit just
for him, came swooping in underneath his butt. Next, Skylar sprinkled
baby powder all over his diaper area; almost making him sneeze! Then,
she pulled the front of the diaper up over him and taped it securely in
place. Finally, pulling his pants back up - Skylar sat the little skunk
back up onto into the sitting position.
"O-Oh... it's so soft!" Gus giggled.
Indeed, the warm, surprisingly comfortable diaper was soft against
his fur. It was thick, and rustled loudly under his pants. He knew for
certain that there would be no hiding this from his mother, if she were
to come find him. And as he began to think about his mother, just down
the hallway, he began to hope he wouldn't make her mad. He just wanted
to play! However, he would soon discover the consequences of his sneaky
actions...
"Yay! Are you in a diapey too now?" Kyla excitedly asked - skipping on over to them both.
But before he could answer...
"Gus!" he suddenly heard.
At once, the boy's little heart sank in his chest and into his
stomach as the familiar voice of his mother rang out and startled him!
He jumped, and he found his mother standing in the doorway to the room
with a look of complete bewilderment. She shook her head at him, and
then stared at the caretaker holding Kyla. He could tell his mother was
furious!
"Gus, what are you doing in here? You're not supposed to be in
here!" she scolded, stomping her way into the room. All of the kids
nearby came to an immediate halt and watched.
"Oh my... he's YOUR child?" the caretaker suddenly said, her eyes wide.
"Why yes, yes he is Skylar" his mother scoffed as she walked over.
"I-I brought him in here. I thought he was one of my kids" the adult explained, slowly putting Kyla back down on the ground.
Both Gus and Kyla watched as the two went back-and-forth. His mother
scolded the aide too quietly for them to hear, but the saddened look on
Skylar's face made it clear to them both that she had done something
very wrong. Gus felt bad, and looked at Kyla with a frown.
"C'mon Gus - let's get you back where you're supposed to be" he heard.
At once, he felt his mother's hand wrap around his - and she began
to lead him out of the room... but he would not be leaving so soon.
"Is Gus gonna be in trouble?" he heard Kyla sadly whine.
"No, of course not Kyla. He just got lost and went where he didn't mean to go" his mother reasoned.
"B-But Ms. Gus' mom! H-He wanted to be in here! He and I were gonna
be friends!" Kyla shouted out - valiantly charging up and in front of
the door.
The little vixen's words were enough to stop Gus' mom, and she faced the little girl.
"What do you mean, Kyla?" his mom asked, looking down at Gus.
"Mhm! He told me he wanted to be a big baby like us and that we were
gonna be bestest friends! He said it so it must be true! Go ahead and
ask him!" Kyla rambled.
Gus' mom looked down at him with a confused expression - and Gus
blushed hard. It wasn't all true at all, but he did want to make
friends. And it DID seem kind of fun in here...
"I um... it's... I uh... erm... I didn't say... ALL of that..." Gus said, but his mom shook his head.
"Gus, if you WANT to stay in here... you can... I bet you'd have a lot
more fun in here with Kyla and the other kids in here than in my room
with a bunch of real babies crying and screaming, right?" she whispered.
Gus smiled and reluctantly shook his head.
"Okay, you sure?" she asked.
A big cheesy grin came on Kyla's face as Gus nodded his head some more.
"Oh, Gus... of course you can stay then. As long as you want to, you
can. Go have some fun. But never, ever go wandering around like that
again, okay? And be good for Ms. Skylar" his mother began, before
inching in closer to his ear.
"...she's new and dumb..." his mom added, chuckling.
Gus giggled back as he stared at the caretaker off in the distance,
who was now tending to the other kids. Gus understood completely, and he
knew that his mom was simply joking! He couldn't believe how much had
happened because he simply didn't speak up.
"Okay Skylar, I'm gonna let Gus stay here. You take good care of
him! Just... make sure you change his diaper quicker than you change
Kyla's, yeah?" his mom then added, playfully pinching her nose at the
vixen by Gus' side.
Both Gus and Kyla blushed, and Kyla chuckled before jogging off.
"Y-Yes mam! S-Sorry about the mixup..." Skylar then added.
But it was now in the past, and the only thing Gus' mom cared about was
her son having a good time. She was more than happy to let him stay in
the big baby room and play around with kids his age. After all, what fun
is it to watch her work all day? She soon left the room and resumed her
duties elsewhere, while both Gus and Kyla resumed their afternoon
together. The two were quick to become the best of friends, and this was
only the first of many, many days for them to to spend time with each
other, and the first of many, many days for Gus to be in the big baby
room.
