Chapter 7: Uncontrollable power Part 1

The morning came fast as Migx began to dress to leave the Pokémon center. Most of the people except medical personal were still fast asleep and the town's people were safe in their houses, that seemed to make Migx doubt his training because he felt unsure and insecure of his own strength making him think that he wouldn't be able to control the mysterious and mythical power buried deep within him; thus, putting in danger the people of the world of Pokémon. He knew that learning to control it will probably make him really powerful and able to have a fighting chance against Black heart so he felt a little relive at the same time.

With that in his mind, he looked at Angela (his Lucario) who was lying in his hospital bed and whispered: "I'm sorry for not taking you with me, Angela." And left the room and closed the door behind him carefully so that it doesn't make any sound and began to walk across the hall of the Pokémon center searching for the exit. Along the way, he saw a couple of Nurse Joy and a few trainers but he acted as though he was just another guy so no one suspected he wasn't clear to leave the Pokémon center. After a few short minutes, he managed to exit the Pokémon center without arousing any suspicions from the Nurses and he made his way to the Eterna forest.

There he walked for hours and finally found a place uninhabited by large quantities of Pokémon to avoid casualties should he fail to control his inner power. Once there, he scouted the area for Pokémon, a lake or river and a cave; he counted twenty five or less Pokémon in the area also a few caves but the lake was nowhere to be found so he knew that the reason that there were scarce amounts of Pokémon was because of how harsh the area was. So he came to the conclusion that he would have to search for the lake or the river later.

Knowing now what he was supposed to do, he sat in the middle of that rocky and lonely place, hidden by a mysterious mist. The sun rays were harsh and able to pass through the mist, so it was hard to concentrate because of the heat generated by the sun. He could barely stand it for 10 minutes. It was really hard for him to begin his training at the moment. The sun was high in the sky and the heat was unbearable and there were only caves to shelter from the heat of the sun but entering one of them made Migx feel uneasy.

He tried to meditate outside but, as he thought it would happen, the heat was just too much for him to handle so he decided to enter a cave; there he sat and close his eyes. He calmed the storm in his mind and he started to draw a picture of a circle with his imagination then when the circle was completely drawn he imagined himself jumping inside of it. Once that happened, he was one small step closer to total concentration.

He inhaled and exhaled as time seemed to pass by slower than usual. After a couple of minutes he felt as if he was getting the hang of it because he could hear the wind blowing and the chanting of bird Pokémon. It made him feel in synch with nature and himself but then, as time kept passing by, it began to be a distraction. After a few more minutes he realized that he was losing his concentration since he was paying attention to what was happening in the outside world instead of concentrating and focusing in his task, which was to control his power. He re-opened his eyes and said to himself: "Suecra wasn't kidding when he said this was worlds apart. It's so hard to concentrate. I can't give up though, I have to do this!"

Later that same day, he learned to conceal his aura by concentrating hard enough. But he was still unable to call upon the powers of the aura master at will; the transformation was indeed hard to master but Migx knew it wasn't impossible.

Angela had woken up and quickly realized what her master had done. She was extremely sad, frustrated and angry, all at the same time. She didn't want to believe that Migx, her Master, would do such a thing. She refused to believe what Migx did because he promised her not to leave without her. But she also knew something was going to happen because her master wasn't acting like himself lately. Then, Angela began her search inside the Pokémon center, she thought to herself that maybe she was wrong and that he was feeling alright and was taking a stroll inside the center or maybe eating something at the food court; but after searching the whole place up and not being able to find him it was as clear as water to her, he left without her.

She exploded, emotionally, in the middle of the Pokémon center where everyone was looking as she began to cry and sob mainly because of two reasons; the first one was because she knew that something strange was happening but decided to ignore it and the other reason was because she was too trusting of her master. An eight year old kid saw her crying and approached her to try to comfort her but amidst her frustration and sadness she pushed the kid away violently and that, in turn, made the kid cry. The kid's mother was present so she came running to the side of her child as fast as she could and called for help. A police officer that was passing by at the moment approached the mother and her child, the women then began to explain what had transpired later stating after finishing her story that Angela was out of control.

The police officer only turn his head to the side a little to catch a glimpse of Angela, she was on her knees and still crying as she touched her head as though in pain. The officer came to the conclusion that she was in an unstable state of mind and tried to take her away but to no avail for she pushed him away just as easily as the kid.

The police man, now a little embarrassed, became agitated and said "Everyone, out of the way. Get back to what all of you were doing. Everything is under control." so the people surrounding Angela left and he took his baton, and just when he was about to strike her a calm but serious voice reached his ears as it said "Put your weapon down if you wish to leave unharmed." The police man turned around angrily to look who it was that said that and what he saw was a big muscular guy with a dragon Pokémon at his side; it was Kevin the dragon master. The police officer replied "Is this your Pokémon, kid? If it is, you are in big trouble." Kevin grinned and only replied "That Lucario isn't mine but I advise you to move away from that Pokémon because you can and will get hurt. That Lucario is not a normal one and right now is very frustrated."

The policeman murmured something and nodded then left as Kevin approached Angela and quickly noticed she wasn't just sad but angry as well just by being close to her. Her aura seemed darker and gloomy so he slowly dropped to the floor on his knees and told her: "Angela, I don't know what happened but if you let me I can help with whatever problem you have." Angela lifted her face and looked him for a while as she sobbed before she let him help her get on her paws.

He took her outside and guided her to the Palkia statue of the city and there they sat for a long time. Angela was blowing off some steam as she explained why she was so frustrated and what Migx did to her. After a while, a large and long snake-like shadow sets upon Kevin and Angela, so they looked up to see what it was that was making such a shadow. It was Rayquaza with Riley and his Pokémon on its back.

Kevin could hardly believe that Rayquaza was right in front of him. He dreamt of meeting it and catching such a powerful dragon type Pokémon but Migx beat him to it, at first, he thought it was a lie or a joke but now that he had seen it with his own eyes he admitted it's true. As Kevin marveled at the power of the legendary dragon type Pokémon, Riley jumped off the back of Rayquaza and his Pokémon followed.

As soon as he landed he greeted Kevin and because he could feel how gloomy Angela's aura was he said: "What's happened? Why are you so sad, Angela; where is Migx?" She looked into Riley's eyes and said as she furrowed her brow as if she was in pain, "He left me, Riley. My master left me behind and went somewhere inside the forest to train." Hearing this, Riley kneeled and patted her shoulder as he replied "You love him, right? Then instead of crying about it do something, Angela." She opened her eyes wide and accepted the truth, the truth that she was whining too much and doing nothing about it.

Her love for Migx made her too dependent of him; she stood from the ground and thanked Riley for making her realized her mistake and then jumped on top of Rayquaza and sat as she said touching her left bicep with her right paw "Well, Let's look for Migx. I'll give him a piece of my mind once I find him; I'm going to punch and kick him until he says that he's sorry." Riley grinned and climbed the back of Rayquaza again along with his Pokémon and then signaled Kevin with his hand to let him know that he could come with them to help.

It was beginning to get dark; the sky was being garnished by a beautiful twilight as the sun disappeared in the horizon. Migx was still trying to concentrate and learn to control his inner power after so many hours without taking a single break. He was getting frustrated and tired because the only thing new he learned was to conceal his aura and to tap into the auras of other living things, though he made some progress it still wasn't enough and he was well aware of it. As he meditated he felt a sudden shift in the wind and the atmosphere of the environment from one of peace to one of tension; the Pokémon began to run away from the more inhabited areas to where he was, escaping from something he could not see just yet...

A mysterious group dress in black suits with armor plates and light blue shades, and white hair where trying to capture Pokémon with "potential". Migx couldn't distinguish the color of their clothing at the moment. They were pretty far way so they couldn't see him and vice versa, and he decided out of precaution to conceal his aura. In the middle of the situation, he decided to approached them with stealth and saw that the mysterious men had some sort of device that looked like a controller with a screen attach on top of it and it seemed to him that the device could tell if the Pokémon was strong and if it had potential to become even more powerful.

So, the men dress in black continued to capture those Pokémon they thought to be beneficial to them and their group. Of course Migx didn't know what their objective was but he sure couldn't stand it, seeing as they were hurting Pokémon, since the poke balls they were using made the Pokémon angry and feel pain as it made them stronger almost instantly.

He came out of hiding and confronted the intruders who were in shock when the little remote device they had started beeping uncontrollably. After a while, it was clear to Migx that the device started beeping because of the power of his aura that he was no longer concealing. There were many of them, about 7 guys; one of them murmured something to the one with the remote device and right after that, the guy with the remote fled and disappeared out of nowhere.

Migx thought he was going crazy but then he heard a really low engine sound and it quickly became clear to him that they were using some sort of ship that had a cloaking device. He also thought that those goons would make him fight their Pokémon but then suddenly one of them touched his left ear and shouted to the others around him: "Let's go! Boss's orders are to return to base for today." He glares at Migx and says: "This is not the last time you'll see us. We aren't stupid, we know how powerful you really are but we...we have our own secret weapon have that in mind. Next time we meet we will not back down."

Migx didn't respond instead he created and aura sphere and threw it at him but the guy in black deflected the aura sphere as if it was nothing. He took his blue shades off and he had a really disturbing bright blue glow in the irises of his eyes as he said "You're pitiful! Not even close to Black Heart." Migx was in awe after realizing they knew Black Heart but before long he made a second aura sphere and said "That... was a warning shot..." Then the aura sphere he was creating grew exponentially and he glares at the guy in black as he said "This is the real deal. Try to deflect it if you can!!!" And the aura sphere grew a bit more; it was just as big as his upper body when he threw it to the guy in black.

The guy with the black suit and armor chuckled and proceeded to try to slap the aura sphere, as soon as his hand made contact with the aura sphere a powerful shockwave was created that blew away and sent some of the goons crashing into the hovering ship. The aura sphere was strong but not strong enough as the mysterious goon from the unknown team divided the huge aura sphere in two and where sent flying back at Migx. Migx crossed his arms and protected himself but the aura spheres exploded before making contact with him and the guy dressed in black said "You're not ready for Black Heart. You're still too weak to do anything, I mean, you can't even beat me but then again my power is comparable to that of Black Heart's so even if you were more powerful I would've been able to beat you. You got lucky today, if my boss didn't gave me the order to leave I would've squash you like the insignificant bug you are!"

Migx frustrated didn't know what to say but he didn't give up. He stood still until they left and as soon as they did he drop to his knees and slammed his fist into the floor shouting: "Why am I not strong enough, damn it!! Why?" But now something inside of him got ignited and he stood up from the ground; after a couple of minutes had passed, he decided to start his training from scratch as he said "I'm going to put my body in danger in order to force the beast inside out of hiding." He went back to the desolated place and began his vigorous training. Migx began to punch trees and to try to concentrate his aura into designated points in his body to make them stronger, in this case his fist, after a couple of hours he got the hang of it and could bring a massive tree down with just one punch. It was now late and completely dark but he never stopped training.

Angela and the others were looking for Migx all over the Eterna forest from the sky and could not find Migx anywhere not even using the aura sight. It was already 12:13 am and they were tired. Angela knew that her Master was somewhere in the forest so she kept her hopes up and tried to cheer the rest of the gang up saying: "Come on, guys. Don't give up! My Master is here somewhere I know because he told me himself. So, let's keep looking." But Riley and the others were barely holding on and were falling fast asleep, so she told Rayquaza "Let's land, ok, Rayquaza. Once we're on land can you please scout the area one last time...?" Rayquaza nodded and she thanked him.

Angela got off Rayquaza and the others fell off of him making Angela sigh of relief since she made a good call to land, otherwise she would have had quite the scare. Riley, Kevin and their Pokémon lied on the ground as she scouted the area using her aura sight and Rayquaza scouted the forest from the sky. Then, Angela saw a burst of powerful aura in the distance that quickly disappeared and she had a hunch that the burst of aura she saw was of her Master since it felt familiar, so she ran towards it as she told Rayquaza telepathically to watch over Riley and the others.

Angela was running fast and the closer she got the stronger the bursts of aura became, it remained like that for a while but then she reached a point where she couldn't run anymore because the shock waves were so powerful it barely allowed her to move forward. The strong winds generated by the shock waves pushed her back but she stood strong and used Extreme speed to try to force her way through the shock waves even though she got blown away, she tried and tried but every single time she failed. Angela refused to give up and decided to run on all four paws and said "Let's see if I get blown away, again." And she ran as fast and hard as she could as the shock wave generate by the bursts of aura tried to push her back but this time she lasted long enough and when the shock wave seize she was able to pass through at an outstanding speed and find her Master.

Migx saw her but didn't say a thing and kept training. His clothes were all torn up and dirty, around him there were lots of trees that had fallen and he was injured. His hands were bleeding but he kept punching the trees that were already on the floor until it was shattered to tiny pieces. Angela saw the display of Migx new found strength and was so happy she wanted to kiss him; so she ran towards him but Migx glared at her and pushed her back with his aura. Angela got blown away and was sent flying to a mountain wall, causing her to cough blood. Migx stopped, of course, he only wanted to keep her away but he couldn't control the strength of his new aura powers that he gained over the past few hours.

He approached Angela that was still coughing blood and said once he got to her side "Angela, are you ok? I'm sorry. I didn't meant to hurt you." Angela lifts her head and smiled as she said "I'm sorry for disturbing you, Master. I only wanted to kiss you because you've become so strong and because I'm proud of you." Migx lowered his head and blushes a little but then he asks Angela "Did you come alone? Angela the forest is a dangerous place... I hope you brought Riley with you." Then, Angela couldn't wait any longer and grabbed Migx's head as she leaned and kissed him. After a few short seconds, Migx broke the kiss and she replied "Of course I didn't come alone. Riley and the others are... well, they are pretty far away but Rayquaza is taking care of them." Migx nodded letting out a sigh of relief and said "Ok. Angela I need you to go back and make sure they will be fine and tomorrow in the morning comeback with all of them." Angela was so happy to see Migx again that she nodded without saying a word of how he made her feel when he left because she was glad he was fine. Then, Migx patted her head and she stood up with a smile and then, began running back to where she left Riley and the others.

Once she left, Migx stopped the harsh training and decided to give the act of concentrating a second try. He sat on the ground and closed his eyes then he tried to focus his aura in one part of his body like he did with his fist. To do that he needed to be focused so he relaxed and forgot the world even existed, after a couple of minutes he reached the state of complete concentration and the state of a clear mind. With that he traveled back inside his mind where Suecra was waiting for him. Suecra then said: "I knew you would make it. Now to test your strength and remember that in order to gain control of my power you need to beat me. I will not pull any punches, right now, Migx; you are my enemy!"

Then without any kind of hesitation Suecra dashes forward and grabs Migx's neck. Then he lifts him and tightens his grip as Migx tried to break free, he kicked Suecra desperately but his legs didn't made any contact instead they went through him as if Suecra was a ghost. Suecra Then tightened his grip once more as he held Migx up high. Migx consciousness began to fade away; he started losing the strength in his arms and he was slowly giving up as Suecra looked at him with a disappointed look in his face but then Migx remembered his training and tried to concentrate. At that moment, Migx's mind was blank he wasn't thinking in anything because he had no room for doubt so he kicked Suecra one last time before his consciousness faded and it made a powerful contact that caused Suecra to let go of him as he touched his ribs that were injured from Migx's kick, which was infused with aura.

Suecra was astonished he never would've thought that a human could ever be born with so much power lying dormant inside. He was lucky, if it weren't for his own innate ability to control Aura at will his ribcage would've had been shattered into pieces. He realized it and he began to feel something that he had never experienced before, that feeling, it was fear. He looked at Migx, as he began to stand up, as a threat, now. He was too strong. If Migx ever learned to control him, his inner Master, and then decide to become evil the world will be in big trouble. As Migx stood still trying to catch his breath, Suecra said: "I won't let you win, Migx. You are too strong and there's no guarantee that you'll use me in the name of good!"

Migx looked troubled and confused as he panted. He wanted to say something but the words would not come out and after a few seconds he finally had the strength to say something but Suecra didn't let him. He ran towards Migx in an astonishing speed and kicked him in the gut. Migx was sent flying to the other side and as he flew he cough up blood and his eyes rolled back into their sockets. He fell hard on the ground but he stood up, although stumbling a little bit, and shouted: "What do you mean!!? What do you mean you're not sure...? Suecra...!" He got interrupted by Suecra's most devastating hit yet, a powerful hook to his right cheek that sent him flying to the left. Migx was barely holding on but he stood from the ground anyway. He decided to let his fist do the talking since words wouldn't work. He ran towards Suecra and infused one of his fists with aura, this made his fist look like it was engulfed in blue fire, as he punched him in the ribs again.

Suecra flinched when it made contact but manage to grab hold of both of Migx's hands and head-butted him, their foreheads collided and it caused Migx to bleed. Migx's head felt heavier than usual after that first head-butt, he couldn't see with his left eye since he had to close it because the blood that ran down his forehead was making its way into his left eye. He felt really weak but Suecra didn't stopped.

He knew that Migx was really weak and that he was on the verge of being knocked out, so he decided to put him out of his misery and head-butted him two more times. Migx's blood painted Suecra's forehead and Migx didn't show any signs of being conscious so he threw him to the side and then he turned his back on Migx as he said: "You're too weak. You cannot and will not use my power! You're not ready just yet."

As soon as he said those words, Migx started moving again. Suecra was in awe as Migx began to stand. He couldn't believe what he saw; he just couldn't comprehend the fact that a mere human has shown signs of an unbreakable spirit and a will worthy of an "Aura Master" but since he stood firmly again that meant that the battle was still on. So Suecra charged on to finish the job but as he approached Migx he was blown away by the power of his Aura that suddenly surged out of him uncontrollably.

Migx had his eyes close at the time it happened but began to slowly open them. Suecra was shocked. The problem that Migx had all this time was the fact he couldn't control his emotions, what was happening to him reaffirmed his theory. It was clear as day as he saw Migx brown eyes turning light blue at first then red as blood. In his expression, Suecra noted an evil grin but he didn't cowered, instead he decided it was time to use his full might. But then, something happened that Suecra began to feel weak and dropped to his knees as he lowered his face and touched his ribs. After a few seconds, he lifted his head to look at Migx and realized he was trying to transform, he felt his energy being drained by him.

Due to this, Suecra fought back, Of course, before being completely weakened by Migx attempt to transform. He began to run towards him and used every ounce of might he had left to strike Migx with a very powerful uppercut that stopped him from achieving his transformation. He was relieved but weakened as he saw Migx standing tall. He's punch managed to stop the transformation but most of his strength was drained from him.

Suddenly, something began to happen to Migx. His uncontrollable aura began to stabilize once again and that allowed Suecra to take back his energy from him since he failed to transform; but even though Migx felt great again and was hurt, and bleeding; he kind of also felt good and ready for round two.

They ran towards each other and traded hooks; both hooks made contact but only Migx seemed like he was the only one that got hurt in that exchange. They didn't stop there, Migx took devastating blows to the face but Suecra took his share of powerful punches to his ribs and chin. The battle was like a boxing match between to champions, neither of them wanted to let the other win.

After a few give and takes, the battle finally ended. Migx was losing a lot of blood and could barely see well. He was feeling dizzy. So, He closed his eyes and fell backwards with a smile as if he had gotten to know Suecra better by fighting him. Suecra, however, stood motionless, just as injured as Migx. He was a being of aura so he couldn't bleed. Nevertheless, it was obvious he was in pain since his body was engulfed in blue flames that were caused by Migx and the used of aura to be able to inflict damage upon his body.

Suecra couldn't walk anymore, he dropped to his knees and laughed and then said: "You beat me, Migx. I know now that you can use my power for good. You just need more training to be able to control your emotions. Once you learn to do that, your friends will be out of danger."

Migx raised his back from the ground, leaning on his hands, and got into a sitting position, then said: "Suecra. Now that I have beaten you, what do I have to do to absorb your power?" Suecra smiled and gazed at him lovingly as a father would look his son and said: "Do you remember what I said? There cannot be two but one and the two must become one upon reaching each other's arms and embracing themselves like brothers. You must embrace me as a brother, Migx. Your feelings towards me must be true and you must accept me as part of you, forever."

Migx gulped at the thought of having Suecra inside his soul forever but after a few seconds he said: "I'm ready, Suecra. I accept you as part of me and as a brother." He stood from the ground and walked towards Suecra but he tripped and fell on him, which caused Suecra to let out a little groan. Migx felt awkward he was on top of Suecra and was now looking into his mysterious bright blue eyes. He blushed, he thought that the situation he was in looked like a scene from a yaoi anime or something close since he was within the range of a kiss. Just then, Migx, who was already embarrassed, stood up quickly with a really red face as he said: "I'm sorry for that!" And then he realized that he touched Suecra when he fell without the use of aura and asked: "Umm, Suecra, why was I able to touch you? I'm not supposed to be able to do that, right?"

It was Suecra's time to be embarrassed before answering: "I decided to let you." Migx looked at him confused and asked: "But how? Aren't you a being of aura? That means you are like a spirit and spirits don't have physical form." Suecra nodded and proceeded to explain while standing up from the floor: "Like I said, I decided to let you touch me. Yes, I'm a being of Aura and you are right, I'm not supposed to be able to have a physical form in a normal case but the thing is I do have a physical form, Migx; and this is not a normal case. You just didn't notice while we were fighting; I was able to touch you but you weren't able to touch me. It's because I can control my spirit form at will and that allows me to switch between a physical and spirit form or in between both."

Migx scratched his head and said: "Ok... Ooh, I get it. That's why I couldn't punch you normally and is the reason why I had to use aura to be able to touch you. I guess it also explains why you were able to touch me; you switched in between your spirit and physical form so that you could touch me but I wouldn't be able to touch you. It makes sense. Hmm, then a normal person would be powerless against you, huh?" Suecra nodded and walked closer to him and said: "Well, are you going to receive me into your being or not?" Migx looked at him and smiled before saying: "Sure... Here we go *hugs Suecra with love*."

Both Suecra and Migx started to shine brightly and the light that emanated from them both soon engulfed them together into a sphere of light.

Riley and his Pokémon, Angela and Kevin had set up a camp and they were all beginning to go to sleep in their own individual tents. A few hours passed by and Kevin and Angela were soundly asleep. Riley and his Lucario were another story. For some strange reason they couldn't fall asleep because they had a feeling that something extraordinary was happening to Migx but they both realized that it was too dark and late in the night to go out searching for Migx because they were in the middle of the forest where big and dangerous bug type Pokémon lived. So they felt it was for the best to stay and act as sentries to guard the others.

The night was peaceful, so they were struck by the temptation of going out to where Migx was from time to time. Riley and Lucario stood their ground even though it was really boring and quiet. Then, Lucario decided to make it more interesting by asking his master Riley if he loved him. Riley answered: "Of course I love you, Lucario. You're my partner and my best friend." Lucario was happy to hear that but at the same time a little bit disappointed so he told Riley: "So you only love me as a friend?" Lucario lowered his head and was acting kind of gloomy.

Riley didn't know what was happening to Lucario and he didn't want to say that he meant so much more but he didn't want to risk Lucario getting the wrong idea so he decide to stay quiet. Lucario took Riley's silence the wrong way, thinking that Riley did not love him at all as his eyes became watery. Riley saw this but he said nothing of his feelings involving Lucario as Lucario began to cry silently so he doesn't wake up Riolu, that was inside their tent, and the others. Even though Lucario was crying Riley didn't change his mind about telling his Pokémon how he really felt for him and after a very long time Lucario decided to run away from him. Seeing that hiding his feelings from Lucario actually did more harm than good, he decided to let Lucario know what he felt without holding anything back and began to follow Lucario through the forest.

Lucario was not slowing down, he was serious about leaving Riley behind and somehow Riley knew that if he lost sight of his Lucario he wouldn't see him again so he picked up his pace. Riley was now just a few feet from Lucario as they jumped from tree to tree with amazing agility and speed. They continued like that for a few seconds until Riley slipped off the branch from a tree that was slippery and fell. Lucario turned to look and saw Riley falling as he let out a small desperate scream. Lucario didn't stop to think he reacted almost immediately by using extreme speed. He jumped off the tree he was in unto another one bouncing off of it, gaining momentum and catches Riley in midair. Then, Lucario placed him on the floor and then tried to go away but Riley didn't let him.

Riley had grabbed Lucario's paw and didn't want to let go. To this, Lucario reacted by trying to jerk his paw off of Riley's hand but the young man only tighten his hold. Lucario was serious so he began to charge up an aura sphere with his free hand and when he was about to throw it at Riley's face he noticed that Riley was sad and his eyes were watery. Then, Lucario decided to ask politely because he didn't want to hurt him and said: "Please... let go of me, Riley. I don't want to be force to hurt you..." But Riley only tighten his grip, "Why are you doing this?! You don't really care about me so let me go!!"
