#1 of the great war
It has been five days since the humans launched their attack against the other factions; the elves, dwarves, and the forest beings. Now the elves, dwarves, and the forests are meeting to decide what to do.
"We have to get the dragons to side with us!" said the elf representative Vanadessë. She is an elf of great skill with the bow and also of great beauty.
"And how do ya expect us to do that elf?" replied the dwarf representative Urim. He was a large dwarf who had fought in many wars.
"The dragons? They might help us. Or they might eat us. If we could only find the phoenix lord" said the youngest of them all, a hummingbird female from the forests named Penna. The bird stood at five feet and was extremely light.
"Why did the forest beings send us a child? The phoenix lord is a myth of the forests!"
"They sent me because my father is the king of the forests."
"Isn't the king an eagle? You're a hummingbird."
"He adopted me. And that does not matter! The dragons are unreliable. They would eat us or they might fight for us and then eat us! Oh and the phoenix lord is no myth." Penna replied.
"Will you two stop fighting?" Vanadessë yelled at them. "We need to find a way to defeat the humans before they wipe us all out. I am sorry Penna but the dragons are our only hope. Even if there is a phoenix lord, no one knows where it is. We just have to hope that the dragons are angry at the humans."
"The dragons are always angry at humans. When are we leaving?" Penna asked.
"We? What makes ya think you're goin'?"
"Why wouldn't I? Is it because I'm a bird?" Penna asked.
"Penna, you are so young. Do you really want to risk your life?" Vanadessë asked Penna.
"It is either that or I go fight alongside my father and probably die there. I think going with you is the safer route and I told my father I would help you."
"Ok. It is agreed then. I will go for the elves, Urim for the dwarves and Penna for the forests."
"So the bird going to fly there?"
"We can't fly. We can only glide. We are too big to fly but I can jump the highest and glide the furthest of all the others so stow it dwarf."
"Can you fight Penna?"
"I can use magic and I brought the only weapon I know how to fight with, Talea. My father found it next to me when he first found me. The name was engraved into the wood."
"A staff? Haw haw haw! Your little stick is going to break bird!"
"No it won't. It is enchanted so as to not break and it is also enchanted to cause more damage to whatever it hits."
"Enough Urim. You should not pick fights with her. Now let us be off."
The group heads out led by Vanadessë.
"The quickest route to the Dragon Mountains is threw the Forest of Nemus. After that, we go to the town of Pine Hox."
"Pine Hox? You mean that town where there are humans living at peace with everyone? Bah. They have probably all turned against everyone like the rest of the trash."
"No they have not. We feared they would but they didn't. In fact, they are willing to fight alongside us."
"Wow really? I was always told that humans were evil. I can't wait to meet them. Let's head to the forest." Penna yelled as she began to run into the trees.
"Lousy bird brain." Urim mumbled as he followed after Vanadessë and Penna.
"Penna wait. I should warn you. When the humans from Pine Hox learned that a war was started, some of them left the town and went into the woods. They might still be here."
"OK!!" Penna called back as she began climbing up a tree.
"EEEEEEEK!!! LET GO OF ME!! Penna started yelling.
"Heh heh heh. Looky here boys. We caught ourselves a bird. Stupid animal pretending to be human. I think I might actually keep you as a pet bitch!
"NOOO!!! LET GO OF MEEEEE!!!"
"Shut up bitch" one of the men said as he grabbed her beak and held it shut. Ripping his shirt, he tied her beak shut. He then tore another piece of his shirt off and tied her hands and feet together. She tried to struggle but they were just too strong for her to take.
"Carry her back to the cave quickly. I think I hear her friends coming. Let's go." The man who was in charge of the thugs said as he began to run towards their cave unaware that they were being followed by something far stronger.
"PENNA?? PENNA?!? WHERE ARE YOU??"
"Look Vanadessë, footprints I think. Let's follow them." Urim said as he began leading.
"Hah ha ha! They fell for the footprints. They are going the wrong way."
"Excellent. Let's make sure they don't turn around. Keep going."
"Welcome to our cave and your new home bitch."
"NNNNNNN!!!"
"Give me that knife! Animals should never wear clothes bitch." The leader said as he began to cut off her clothes. When he had finished, he grabbed some rope and replaced the shirt tie with rope and tied her arms behind her back. Getting a muzzle to fit her beak took some time but he found it. Shoving it on, he stepped back and took a look at his work. She lay there squirming, unable to move much and could not call for help.
"Whats that honey? You want me to fuck you? Ok if you insist. You lot stand guard."
"Yes boss!"
"NNNNNN!!!! PLSSSS NNNNNN!!!!"
"Now now honey. Calm down. I didn't know you wanted it that badly." The thug said as he pulled down his pants. Walking right up to her squirming form, he spread her legs apart and was about to enter her when one of his thugs came in.
"BOSS! We have a problem!"
"WHAT!!?"
"DRAGO... AAAAAAAAHHH!!"

"AHHHHHHH!!!!"
"What was that?" Urim asked.
"I don't know but I think we are going the wrong way." Vanadessë says as she turns around and begins running back.

"I have been watching you humans for some time. I was waiting for you to give me a reason to kill you and you finally did." A young gold dragon said as he threw the body of the thug who had warned the boss. "Now step away from the girl and I might let you live." The gold dragon measured 20 feet from nose to tail. He appeared only capable of carrying at least one other small being without being too off balance.
"Ok! Yes lord dragon!" The human said as he backed away from Penna. The dragon grabbed him and began squeezing. "You said you'd let me live!"
"No. I said I might let you live." The dragon said as he tore the human in two. Penna had passed out the moment the dragon had appeared so he picked her up and left the cave with her. As he exited the cave, he saw an elf and a dwarf standing there with weapons drawn.
"Put the girl down wyrm!"
"I can't do that dwarf. I have to take her to the king at once."
"Do you know who she is?"
"Yes. She is Penna Goldfeather, adopted daughter of King Goldfeather."
"Can you take us also?"
"No I am not big enough to carry two more passengers. If you wait here, I will send another dragon to pick you up. See you later." The gold called as it began to fly towards the mountains. When penna awakened, they had already landed and she was untied.
"Where am I?"
"Ah you are awake. I was fearing I had scared you to death." The gold said coming into view.
"EEEEKKKK!!" Penna shrieked when she saw the dragon.
"I am not going to hurt you. I saved you from the bandits. If you want, I can change into something a little less frightening." The dragon said as he began to morph into a fox. "Is that better?"
"Yes" Penna managed to say.
"I know why you have come. You want to ask for our help against the humans. Even though he may be king, there is no way that any dragon could get all the others to help the weaker races. I can't say for certain but I am fairly sure that the black dragons, red dragons, and most of the blue dragons will never help you. Also, the humans have managed to ally themselves with rogue dragons of all colors. We just might not be enough to help you win."
"why are you telling me this?"
"Just a warning."
"where are Urim and Vanadessë?"
"your allies are on their way here. When they get here, I will take you to see the king."
