The Brewery
He laid with his back upon the maple plank floors, half conscious, and happily drunk. Two empty barrels of Stormstout Brew turned over was beside him. He smiled half-lidded, letting the world spin around him. Neltharion smiled. Even in the stupor, his senses were still alive and alert. Though his mind was clouded in the fog of alcohol. He sensed something approaching, light footfalls drawing closer. He lifted his heavy head to see who it was and found Malygos."Hey...Mal..." he said, flopping a paw to invite his brother and former-Aspect closer. "Come here...have...ha...have a drink."Malygos settled upon his belly."I was worried when you didn't return to the Vale," he said."Yeah...I...decided to...exterm...exterm...ex...kick bug asssssss..." said Neltharion, his tongue fumbling around in his jaws. "The...Shado...Shado...wall pandas...they th-thanked me. You should have seen it, Mal. I...stepped on...giant beetles...and mended...the wall...and...met Chen...Chen Stormstout..." He plopped his head down. "You know...he owns this brewery now? He...he makes the best beer...and he's Thrall's buddy. He...he helped make the Horde. And he's pissed off...off at Garrosh for ruining it. He's awesome, Mal. I help...helped him make the beer."Neltharion lifted his head and placed a paw upon Malygos' paw."I...can...beer...bend..." he said, his grin spreading. He broke out into a snicker, each chortle broken by a hiccup. "That's...wonderful," said Malygos. "I'm...happy you had fun.""Yeah...I did," said Neltharion as he laid his head back down and stared up at the warehouse lights above. "I...needed to get out for a moment. The Valley of...Four Winds was next door, you know? I...just needed to leave. Um...I've been having some...some problems..."His eyes fell lazily upon Malygos."You know...it's the damnedest thing too," he continued. "I...I got this swelling...down there..."He spread his hind legs to reveal a lump right at the folds of scales which protected his cloaca. They were raised and a swollen knot had formed under them. Even in his drunken stupor, Neltharion could feel just how hot, how tight the scales were. They were tender, so very tender. They were screaming to have a need fulfilled, a need that Calia once did for him. "It's like my own...organ won't...behave itself," he said. "It's strange, you know? It...is acting like there's a mate...near by, but all I see is...you..."He looked at Malygos, taking in a deep breath. Something about him, something Neltharion had sensed even when he nestled beside him, protected him while he was recuperating from the ritual that brought him back. Malygos smelled so very sweet to him. Inviting. The
smell delve into Neltharion's own depths, creating that longing, a longing which only confused him more."You...you know...I kinda...told my dragons they...they can't mate with the opposite...gender anymore," he said. "Because...because they're all related right now. I don't have...any dragons not...related to the ones I saved..."Malygos rose a paw and placed it upon Neltharion's shoulder. He patted it gently."I know," he said.Neltharion sniffed, his dreamy smile fading to a frown. His eyes began to water."None of us...can mate...with each other..." he said. "Because...I've seen what happens. Onyxia and Nefarian...they didn't do any good to my flight by their incest. Probably made...the madness worse.""For a while, I started betrothing...all my blue dragons..." said Malygos. "Assigning them mates for...copulation and keeping up the network. Male and females, groups four at a time, they had to mate with the opposite and same genders, those same groupings, over and over. It still didn't help."Neltharion sighed: "Well, it's not...not like...I didn't allow any...networking done. They just couldn't...mate with the opposite gender. I let them couple with...the same gender. They...they gotta release that tension...somehow...""Of...of course.""I...didn't want...children born with...birth defects," said Neltharion. "That's...that's what happens when...you mate with your...siblings and have children...well...when male and female siblings have kids. Don't matter with same gender siblings doing it...nothing comes of that...much. Just strengthens the...relationships more."Malygos turned to Neltharion, swallowing as he formed his next question."Did Calia...know...did you mate with any of the...same gender of your flight while...she was there?" he asked."No," said Neltharion. "One...Calia. Her culture is, when you marry, you have that one person. That one special person...and there is no one else. You are hers, she is yours. And I knew...if I broke that vow, I'd crush her. I'd crush her trust. And I wanted so much for her to trust me. After all...she was the only one willing to mate with me...and I was willing to mate with too. She...she may have been human...Malygos...but she could handle me. All of me. I was afraid that I would...I would..."He broke down into tears, his breaths stolen by his sobbing. Malygos leaned down and laid his brother's head upon his shoulder. As Neltharion leaned closer to him, feeling Malygos' talons trail down his neck, the throbbing, heated, tingling pressure began to build at the scales between his legs. He sobbed softly into Malygos' chest, the memories of his beloved Sintharia and the horrible tragedy that took her away from
him, betrayed her love as well as his own come flooding back. The acting of mating turned horribly wrong by Deathwing. It made Neltharion even more afraid to mate with anyone."Calia could take it," he said again. "Even though Deathwing...burned her when he took her on the wedding light. He bedded her and ravaged her...when I mated with her...she could take it. At times she wanted it. It was...wonderful just to have a consort again, Malygos. Even for the brief time we shared."He looked up, smiling sadly as tears flowed from his eyes."Even if she was...human...she was my...consort," he said. "My...only one...now I have no one...I'm alone. And this burning...itching sensation down there...it won't go away!"Neltharion buried his head into Malygos."She could make it...go away..." he said, each word followed by another hiccup. "She could make it...go away..."There was a beat and Neltharion shuddered as he attempted to calm himself down."I loved her...Mal..." he whispered."I know," said Malygos. "But...""I know, it wasn't meant to be," he said. "It's...not fair..."Neltharion softly rumbled as Malygos laid his chin upon his crown. Though when Neltharion smelled Malygos' chest, that tingling under the folds of his scales itched once more. A flick of moistness upon the Black's crown and the pulsating quickened. "That...feeling...it's getting worse," he said. "Your...scent...the...beat of your heart. It..."Neltharion pulled away and curled over to his side."I don't understand why I'm...feeling like this towards you..." he said. "And why...I sense it from you...what you really feel for me..."He truly could. There was a pull, a force that he could not fight and he sensed that force pulling Malygos closer as well. But he could not understand it. Neltharion's mind was more lost in the cloud of confusion than his cloud of drunken stupor. It was all there, his desires, his needs, his wants, all there, urging him to be closer to Malygos."I don't know why...but...it feels...strange," said Neltharion. "And when I'm near you, it feels worse."He curled up tighter."I want Calia," he said. "She could make this all go away.""Neltharion..." Malygos began. "I need to tell you...something...""Maybe all of this that's happening," Neltharion began, sniffing and snorting between his sobs. "It's because I don't have her...she's not here. I've ignored it for so long, now it's telling me that I need her. But she's not here. She could make it go away.""Neltharion..."He shut his eyes and crossed his hind legs tighter over the
hot spot."I never...had this problem, Mal," he said. "She would be gone for months...but knowing that she would return to me kept it away. She's not coming back. Never coming back. And I'm left with this curse."Neltharion lifted his head towards Malygos."I hate my body..." he said. "I want it to stop. I hate that it does this, it acts on its own. It swells up when I'm upset. It scares people when I'm trying just show I'm not a monster anymore. It gets in the way. It's too big, it's too frightening. It...kills so many people that I love. I'm all alone because of this stupid body of mine.""You're not alone, Neltharion," said Malygos. "Lots of people care about you. I care."He moved in closer to Neltharion and settled himself down beside him again, curling his neck around him. "We had a very deep friendship, Neltharion," he continued. "So long ago.""I know, well I heard..." said Neltharion. "Well, I don't remember the details. I just know the feeling is there. And I hurt you, Mal. I hurt my best friend.""You didn't hurt me. I...wish I had caught it in time. It's my fault you suffered.""Stop saying that," said Neltharion. "It's not true and you know it. You suffered because I...I am a broken...cog in a machine. I was made...broken. And I don't know why. Now I'm seeing how broken I am again. I don't...want this to happen anymore. It'll get worse and I'll hurt you or anyone else. I can't live with that."He grazed a talon down Neltharion's side, feeling the curves and sending a shiver through Neltharion's form. A gasp escaped his mouth and the pulse between his legs was aching, the scales seem to part at the seams. Desperately, he wanted anything to take his mind off of what his body was doing, the signals it sent. A diversion is what he needed."I wish I can remember...our friendship as vividly as you can," said Neltharion, though his mind was focused upon Malygos' talons. "What...what were we like then?""Inseparable," said Malygos. "We worked so closely together, our flights blended like they were one."Neltharion relaxed his body, leaning in a little bit more into Malygos' chest. His plates seemed to just gently rub up against Malygos' neck. The Blue reached a claw over to comb through Neltharion's beard. Neltharion felt his insides twitch at the sound of a deep, deep thrum, so low that only he could hear it coming from Malygos. Strangely, it excited him more."But there was a connection between us, something both of us did not quite understand," said Malygos. "That drew us even closer, closer than of the other Aspects.""A connection?" Neltharion asked."You felt it's
pull before," said Malygos. "So did I. It's the pull we're feeling now.""What?" Neltharion asked. There was that fog of confusion again, his thoughts racing through his mind as he tried to connect the dots between his urges and Malygos' words."How much do you remember?" "I seem to remember that we...connected our powers a few times," he replied. "That made what we had to do as Aspects easier. The visions of our flights working as one. Earth and magic. I can remember what it felt like...something that was there and filled me with so much joy." His tone soured. "Then Deathwing took it all away.""Yes," said Malygos. "Well...um...there was something more to it than that. Only, we knew about it, but duty and convictions, cultural taboos, they kept those feelings bound within us.""Okay," Neltharion said as he felt his mind clear just slightly, the words Malygos saying bringing him back to sobriety. He leaned up to look into Malygos' eyes. "Um...continue?""One day, we were combining our powers, as our duty was," he said. "But it caused something to appear. Various dragons belonging to both our flights reported that an island appeared showing strange residual energies. We went there to see about it. We both felt the connection that this island had, but we did not quite understand it. So, we experimented.""Sounds reasonable," said Neltharion. "So, what happened when we experimented?""We combined our powers and the world went white," said Malygos. "We both blacked out, and awoke on the island. But the island was nowhere. It was not on Azeroth, nor anywhere else. You sensed that we were no longer on Azeroth. We both could not even hear the sounds of our flights. I could not feel the leylines of Azeroth. The only thing we could sense was the energies of the island."Neltharion laid his head down again wanting once more to listen to Malygos' heart. Though as he listened to the story, he felt his own body begin to relax, the tense sensation in between his legs was cooling."We tried everything to get home," said Malygos. "But nothing worked. What was worse, the wildlife on the island was dying. Plants and animals were succumbing to the radiation left over from the strange energies that brought us there. There was nothing we could do. We were in a dimension out of sink with space and time. Not even our cries to Nozdormu could help.""So, what happened to us?" Neltharion asked. "Obviously we found a way off the island, how did we get off?"There was a pause and he sensed that Malygos was trying to figure out just what to say. There was a building conflict growing inside of him. Neltharion turned just ever so slightly, his weight forcing Malygos down upon his
back. Their eyes locked, and the burning sensation returned."Continue..." Neltharion said with a deep thrum of his throat."Well, alone on a barren island, none of our culture holding us back, we were at last able to break the barrier we wanted so much to break. I never felt so alive. Apparently, that was all it needed to bring the island back as well."Neltharion's eyes were widened."We were...like...consorts, Neltharion," said Malygos, breaking the awkward silence."What?""You and I..." he said. "Were like consorts. We knew we were drawn together, who we were, what we were. Even our flights felt this pull above all else. But we were afraid to act upon it. When we returned, the flights were told, our two flights at first. We realized because of this bond, our flights became stronger and stronger. Our flights were...married...so to speak. Because of us. The love shared between us that we shared with our Primes and so on and so forth...it was the most beautiful thing. And that island was our special island, a place where our flights met and continued to grow."Neltharion felt Malygos' throat tremble with a sob."We thought we were going to die on the island," he said. "So we thought, if we were going to die, we would die being at last truthful with each other. At last admit vocally what we both knew in our hearts. That...we were truly meant to be together, and our flights to be together. Then Deathwing stole that all away. Why couldn't I have seen it? It happened so slowly, our flights growing apart. I was worried, but...but my naiveté didn't delve into it any further. That is until you approached me with the plans for the Dragon Soul. I was so happy we were working together like we used to. Until...that night..."Then, Neltharion broke out into a sob, his tears splashing puddles onto Malygos' chest."Why couldn't I see it?" Malygos asked. "Why? At last in my death...when I look back on that night, I think it was my punishment for not seeing it sooner. You were hurting and I did nothing. Every day I exist with the guilt. I lashed out at you for a crime you never committed, but I had. I betrayed you. I betrayed your love. And I got what I deserved."Neltharion lifted his head: "Who knew about it besides our flights?""Alexstrasza found out," said Malygos. "She approached me and well...she seemed...distant...indifferent towards it. Ysera thought it was wonderful because of the happy dreams you and I would share after...one of our matings. And the dreams our flights had as well. Alexstrasza was tense despite the indifference. We could tell she didn't approve, but I suppose she didn't stop us because she had other convictions that were more important than two
Aspects fraternizing. She did comment on the improvement of our duties because of it. She just did not agree with it.""So this feeling I'm experiencing, the pain is caused by you?" Neltharion asked."Very possible," said Malygos. "Neltharion...I have done the worst crime ever to be committed by a dragon, I did not just betray my brother, I betrayed my mate. I betrayed you.""Malygos," said Neltharion. His breath shuddered as he drew closer to him, though every inch of his heart was fighting the urge to take him. "Sintharia was my Prime, and even she could not see it coming. It is not your fault."The burning expanded all around him. The sweet smell of Malygos firing off in his mind, recognizing him like he would Sintharia or any other of his consorts. Take him, take him, take him, they screamed. Take him and bed him! The pain was unbearable, the agony howled. Neltharion's own lips just about touched Malygos'. Their breaths mingled in the air, their scents entwined. The surge down below swelled more. His eyes glowed dully red as the pull between them became even stronger. He had pulled himself upon Malygos. He could sense Malygos' inflamed vent against his own, his needs calling out to him. A dark head slowly peeped through the folds of black scales, meeting against the tender pale opening.A memory came to him as they met, a memory of happiness. He saw himself with Malygos, what they shared together, the love, the affection, and the mating. Warmth, warmth and love. He could feel his mate wrap his wings around him in their bliss. Then, that same love was shared with their most beloved of consorts. Sintharia and Sindragosa both were there together, basking in that warmth as well, sharing in the joy, pleasuring each other as lovers should. Never had he felt so connected not to his own flight, but to Malygos'. The lines between them were washed away as he gave a loving nuzzle to Malygos, Sintharia, and Sindragosa. And they did the same for each other. This was beauty. There was a flash and Neltharion's mind shifted to a time of sorrow this feeling had brought him. Screaming filled his mind, screams of torment. A female calling out not in ecstasy, but in agony as the heat coming from his body melted the scales upon her back. Another flash and he saw now a young girl lying upon her belly, face twisted in anguish. Her ivory skin marred by darken burned scarring. He smelled the fresh blood dripping from between her legs as something penetrated her most vulnerable and private place. And then she screamed, spit lining her mouth as the horrible shadow took her innocence.Neltharion tore himself from Malygos and dragged away, curling up as the pulsation between his legs scalded his insides. "No!" he said. "No! I can't!""Neltharion," said Malygos. "It's alright. If...if you want to...I'm not going to stop you. You need this right now. It'll only get worse if you don't ease it."He shook his head curling up even tighter, his wings folded around his body."No. No. Nonononono...." "Neltharion," said Malygos. "I...don't want to see you suffer.""And I don't want you to suffer!" Neltharion called out. "I know this feeling. I know what it'll do. It's more than...what you think. It has hurt so many of whom I love. Sintharia, Calia...my other consorts. It even killed them! I may not remember what it was like for us, but I do remember my size back then. My...member's size. It's different now, Malygos. When Deathwing swelled my body, making me into this hulking brute, he changed those...parts too. They're much bigger than they were. And I'm going to tell you right now, it won't be pleasant. My cursed cock will rip you in half."A pause and a sob followed. Neltharion raked his claws against the wood, digging furrows and sawdust."And this...drive...this thing I have that is aching for you," he said. "If I let it loose, this monster that wants to get out and ravage you, I know there will be nothing left of you when its finished." Neltharion's eyes locked upon Malygos, the glow of them intensified. "And I don't want that to happen to you! If we were once consorts, that would be something wonderful to have again. But I know that I will lose you too if I let the beast out. And I don't want that. Not again. I lost you before and I will not lose you again. So I can't."Malygos's head lowered."Please, Mal," said Neltharion. "Don't think of this as a rejection. I want to...protect you. And I need to think about this. I need to clear my head. I...I don't want to hurt you. Not like this."His head dipped down and be balled up into a heap of scales and metallic armor."Not like this..." he pouted. "I hate this body. I hate it so much. Please...just...leave me for now. For your own safety at least."Malygos rose up and rumbled a deep, saddened sigh. With heavy feet, he moved away from Neltharion, leaving him to himself and the unfulfilled growing pain. Neltharion watched, fighting with his failing strength against the urge of pouncing upon his long time friend. The smell of Malygos' heat at last faded away, only a small whiff lingered. As the burning sensation began to subside and the drunken stupor cleared, Neltharion at last left the brewery. He took off for the east and returned to the Vale for rest.
