Chapter 27 Lea's Return

Day 91 continued

Before departing the holding area Tauren reminded me to be home in time for dinner and that I still had homework waiting for me- a lot of it.

While I was escorting Lea back to her apartment, the she beast still dwelling on what had happened was perplexed.... "Alex, how can I ever thank you for all you have done?"

I thought for a moment.

(A threesome with you and my mistress would be a great start!)

"I can think of a couple things." I said returning to my senses. "First agree to be my primary healer. I couldn't think of anyone else I would trust with my health, well being and my life here on Counter Earth." I told her.

"Um. Kay, what else?" She asked.

"Second let me make you dinner and you can to tell me about your experiences as a guest in Castle Sevren and how you wound up with that bad news boyfriend of yours and in return I will tell you of my experiences trying to clear your name. Deal?"

"You're going to spoil me?" Lea hesitated. "Shouldn't I um, you know, be spoiling you?"

"Perhaps, maybe that will come later." I said to the lioness.

Lea's lair was a modest apartment at the north end of Castle Wundagore. It wasn't huge, extravagant or the size of my mistresses' townhouse- just nice and comfortable. Upon our arrival, Lea looked around to make sure nothing had been disturbed- unfortunately it had been- all of it. Sir Wolf and his subordinates had gone through the entire apartment looking for additional evidence; it was a mess.

(I understand Sir Wolf was trying to defend and preserve the empire from its enemies, but I wished that he had been more discrete.)

Upon seeing this, Lea fought to hold back tears. Seeing the sorry state of her apartment was in- I couldn't just sit by and do nothing.

For the next hour and a half- we cleaned, straightened and reorganized every drawer and chair so her apartment looked exactly like it had been before she left it.

"This is a metaphor of my life and possibly career isn't it?" Lea said to me while we cleaned.

"How so?"

"It is a wreck after my ordeal." The lioness said wistfully.

"That maybe true I told her, but you weren't convicted- you were exonerated and that has to count for something. I personally think that you will salvage your career and retain the professional honor, integrity and respect that you have earned."

"I hope you are right. Look at us we are a mess! I was already grimy from being in that dungeon, cleaning has only made it worse." Lea said.

"I couldn't agree more my lady."

It was then that I had a delicious idea.

"To thank me for saving your butt, you are going to allow me to wash every bit of dirt, dust and grime off yours and the rest of that magnificent body."

(YES!!!! After that I am going to personally dry you off and take in all of your beauty as I do so.)

Lea blushed after hearing me say that.

"Err, I was just checking to see if you were paying attention. I mean you will find love again Lea, but you need time to process all that has happened and you need time to heal. While we were showering I took extra special care to make sure every bit of grime, dirt and dust was removed from the she beast's fur and pelt. The other remnants of Lea's ordeal from the past few days wouldn't be so easily washed away.

Many times that afternoon I just wanted to make love to Lea, to comfort her and to reassure her that she would be ok. I had to constantly remind myself that this magnificent she beast was a dear dear friend of mine recovering from a relationship that was a lie, a near conviction that almost devastated her career and her. Further, I was in a loving and committed relationship of my own as well. Lastly- she didn't take advantage of me in my time of need (although I wish she had). I shouldn't do so now.

"Wow this is becoming quite personal." I responded.

"You don't have to answer if you don't want to." Lea responded.

"No it is alright. Lady Ursa is a powerful and fierce warrior who can also be quite affectionate and gentle. "I guess I have just enough time to make you dinner before I have to head back to Tauren's. So does this young leonine female have a preference what she would like to eat today?"

"Meat!" The she beast promptly responded.

"That's right I forgot you are a carnivore."

"Yes Alex, your diet isn't so restrictive since you and your master are both omnivores."

I rummaged through Lea's storage unit to see what she had that could be made into a meal in 30 minutes or less. When I did, I discovered she had some ground turkey that would be great for cooking.

"This will do nicely. As long as..."

"As long as what?" She asked curiously.

"This meat was made from an actual turkey and not any one we knew." Lea laughed.

I decided to make the amused lioness turkey burgers for her first dinner away from the joint.

"So tell me what did you find attractive about your former boyfriend?" I asked her as I started cooking the meat.

"His smile, his eyes, his frame. But most of all his personality. Mike was very charming and smart. He loved the arts- plays, musicals and operas. That was our common interest. Despite being a second class citizen in this society- he always had a positive outlook on life despite what was given to him. I found that very attractive. I realize now that his outlook was based what he doing for the rebels. Despite what he did and why, I still have feelings for him."

"Lord Tiger!" I exclaimed.

"What?!" She asked.

"Have you ever considered him as a potential love interest?" I asked the she beast.

"Hmm..."

"I think he is single and he seems to be a honorable and just individual. He is the leader of the knights after all and least likely to be tagged as a rebel." I said to Lea.

"But he is also missing, so is Lady Vermin." Lea responded. "That reminds me, I need to check on something. "

Lea left the kitchen briefly to retrieve her communicator- she checked it carefully,

"Hmm... there are no messages."

"Something wrong?" I asked the perplexed lioness.

"Oh no, no nothing is wrong!" She said sheepishly.

Shortly afterwards I finished cooking and we retrieved our clothes from the wash. I placed dinner on the table and gave the sexy lioness a hug. "It's 4:30 PM, I guess I should be leaving now, the trio should be getting back I and still have my homework to do Lea."

"Um okay." She responded as I started to depart. "Oh Alex." I turned around to face her, the lioness hugged me. "Thank you for being my friend."

I returned the embrace.

"You were mine first,- at a time when they were in very, very short supply. I will always be here for you- you cute sexy lioness."

"Really?! I could use a favor, it's been a few days since I have had 'some' and I feel kinda pent up." She teased.

"Quit teasing me you goof, you're starting to sound like Sorren. Anyway, I think I should leave now before I get into big big trouble. But why don't you come by later? Maybe around 7? The trio is going to be testing me on my language skills to see if I lost my accent yet. Besides I think you should be with some friends tonight."

Lea agreed.

"So it is a date?" I said as I started to depart to head back to Tauren's lair.

"Um hmm." She responded.

"Great don't tell my mistress!" I said bouncing my eyebrows.

It was a good idea. I didn't feel that Lea should be alone this evening. Especially on her first night of freedom.

As I walked through the corridors and hallways past other beastials that worked in the castle. It slowly dawned on me why Lea had checked her communicator- she was expecting a message from someone but who? Not her boyfriend he was out of the picture. Was it Ram and Lady Ursa? Were they supposed to have checked in?

I arrived back at Tauren's Lair to discover that Tauren and Sorren were on the sectional watching the latest news bulletin. The exoneration of Lea after the discovery of Castles Wundagore and Sevren being bugged by the rebels.

"How's Lea doing?" Tauren asked.

"She is settling back in and enjoying her freedom once again." I replied.

"Did you help her SETTLE?!" Sorren winked.

(Silly dragon. Damn right I did.)

"Well I helped her clean up her apartment after it had been ransacked and personally bathed her to wash away the dungeon slime she had accumulated from her imprisonment." I said to the pair.

"YEAH!!" The Two males said as they high fived.

"Is there something wrong Alex?" Sorren asked.

"I am not sure."

Sorren and Tauren bade me to sit with them on the sectional. I sat between them- Sorren on my left and Tauren on my right.

"All right out with it Alex." Tauren ordered.

"Lea checked her messages when she got back in. There weren't any."

"I don't understand." Sorren replied.

"I asked her if something was wrong and she quickly assured me that there wasn't. It was kind of like she was protecting me from something." I said to the two. "This may be a stretch but I think she was looking for a message from Ram and Lady Ursa. They were on a classified rescue mission- to save Lord Tiger and Lady Vermin after they failed to check in from their mission.

I believe Lea was surprised Ram and Lady Ursa failed to check in and was hiding it from me." I gasped when I realized what I had just said.

"OMG! What if they are in trouble? What if my mistress is incapacitated? What if she is dead?"

(How could I go on? How would I survive?)

I was numb at the thought of this. Most likely Tauren, Sorren and Lurie would become my new family, they would love me and help me through my loss. But essentially. I would be lost without my mistress.

"I wouldn't worry Alex." Sorren said. "Your master is one of the strongest knights in all the empire, I would bet on her any day!"

"Don't forget that she is with Ram one of the brightest and smartest minds on Counter Earth! They are more than a formidable team for any foe or threat to the empire." Tauren said.

"But guys it has been three days now with no word at all!" I said to the two.

"Stop worrying and cheer up!" The dragon ordered me.

"Otherwise we will be forced to completely stop you from worrying." Tauren said as he smirked at me.

"How's that? I asked.

"By flipping you." Sorren responded also smirking at me.

"Flipping me?" I asked.

"Yes flipping you little human." The bull responded.

(Do they mean from straight to bi?!)

I looked to my left and to my right at the two grinning males. "Ick, double ick!"

Before I knew it Tauren had grabbed and tossed me in the air! Sorren then caught me.

"Gee what was that for?!" I asked the pair.

"To get you out of your stupor before you got a crazy idea to mount your own rescue mission." Tauren said.

"Why, what did you think it was for?" Sorren said leering at me.

"Phew! I thought you just might have meant the other type of flip.

Hearing that Sorren just grinned wickedly at me.

(Goofy dragon!)

"Ok! Ok! Guys I will put off worrying until later."

(At least for a few hours.)

"Great now don't you have some homework to take care of?" Tauren asked.

"Yup, yup. I am on it."

"While you are doing that, I will start dinner." Sorren said walking toward the kitchen.

"By the way guys where is Lurie?"

"Lurie is running late she won't be back until after six." Sorren responded.

I managed to complete my homework just before dinner and about the time Lurie arrived.

Just then the door to the lair opened up.

"I am home!" It was Lurie arriving home from a long day. "Hi everyone."

"Hi love." Tauren and Sorren responded in unison.

"Hi Lurie," I said to Tauren and Sorren's lover.

"Hi Alex, how was your day?"

We all sat down at the high table ate dinner and recounted the days events. Lurie had the longest day which she had spent fine tuning the castle's environmental systems in preparation for the dictator's visit. Sorren spent his time making sure the cafeteria kitchen was stocked and ready for any meal the dictator wanted. He and Sir Wolf had eaten there after Lea's judgement. I told Lurie about resuming my studies this morning and Tauren recounted the hours in the holding center leading up to the dictator's visit and Lea's Final Judgement.

"So how did it go?" The female coyote asked.

"The master was as stern as ever, he seemed to suggest that everyone was going to be punished for the security breach. But instead he demanded an investigation on how the breach happened. He also gave Lea her punishment." The bull said.

"What was it?" The she beast asked.

"She was to deal with the embarrassment and humiliation her imprisonment had caused her and to honor those who helped exonerate her." I responded.

"You should have seen it love, she was so nervous- I thought she would make a puddle on the floor." Tauren said. "But she was allowed to leave- Alex escorted her home, helped clean her apartment and even her!"

"Tauren!" I said looking at the minotaur.

"Well it's true isn't it Alex?" Sorren asked.

"Yeah but you don't have to tell all of Counter Earth about it!"

"So you bathed her?" Lurie asked questioningly.

"Yeah she was quite dirty after we had finished cleaning- besides she had seen me naked. I thought it was time I got some payback."

"Males!" Lurie moaned while the rest of us laughed.

We managed to finish eating just in time for our evening visitor.

"Hi, Lea!" Sorren said as he greeted her at the door while the rest of us cleared the table.

"How are you feeling dear?" Tauren asked. "Come on in and have a seat."

"Hi Lea!" I said.

"Am I late?" The she beast asked.

"No you are just in time for Alex's tests." Sorren answered.

"So exactly what are these tests going to be about?" The sexy she beast asked.

"Language studies. In particular english." Tauren said. "We will be testing Alex's language proficiency and to see if he has lost his thick accent."

"How are you going to do that?" I asked the minotaur. While Lea, Lurie and Sorren found their seats.

"Through conversational english." Sorren said. "Without someone's translator."

"Give it up little human." Tauren ordered.

I handed the bull my PDA. Which he promptly turned off. Instantly my friends' words transformed to groans, grumbles, rumbles, snorts, bleats and grunts. I didn't have a clue what any of them were saying.

"Ok we can begin now." I said to the lioness, bull, coyote and dragon who were sitting around me.

"Uh oh, someone still has their accent!" Sorren teased.

"You should talk!" I said as I heard the dragon speak without the use of my PDA. "You do too- it looks like english was not your first language."

"It looks like we are off to a great start." The hot she beast said. "Don't you agree Lurie?"

Not only was the lioness sexy, she was also very intelligent Lea sounded the same way she did when I had my translator on. No accent at all.

Tauren, Sorren and myself looked at the lioness. Perfect pitch, dictation and vocalization.

We then looked at Lurie who only responded in growls, whimpers, groans and barks.

"What was that love? I couldn't quite understand your english." Sorren Teased.

Lurie quickly grabbed my PDA, adjusted the range and turned back on the translator.

"I said my english is bad. So I won't be of much help."

"You mean you never bothered to learn it only a few phrases here or there." Sorren smirked at the 'yote girl. He promptly received a pillow in the face for his efforts.

"Any way it looks like our guest has a good handle on the language. Anything you would like to add Tauren?" I said dying to hear his voice.

"Alex this test is about you not me." The minotaur responded with an Animailian accent.

"Says the bull with a noticeable accent." I teased.

So my friends and I spent the next hour or so talking about anything and everything. The news, the weather, popular culture, Lea's ex and the condemned at Lea's judgement. It felt great to get back to some sense of normalcy after the last few days. I didn't feel embarrassed that I had an accent because Sorren and Tauren did as well- but theirs weren't as thick as mine, something they would have to help me with.

"I heard that the punishment of the two rebel females was going to be broadcast to their victim's families." Sorren said toward the end of the hour.

"How soon will that happen?" I asked Tauren.

"Within the next week." He responded. "The knights want ample time to contact the victim's families and get their input as to whether they want to attend the proceedings in person or just watch them on the hub."

"I will definitely want to see that." I said to the four of them. Lea looked at me when I did. "Not for vengeance, but for closure."

"You mean you have never witnessed a forced human to beastial transformation and you have some curiosity- morbid curiosity." Sorren said in accusatory tone.

"That too." I admitted.

"Alex there will be a lot of crying and screaming." Lea warned.

"You mean from the condemned or the victims families?"

"Actually both." Tauren added.

By that time it was 8 PM.

"So what should we do now?" I asked. "Can we watch that documentary on the rebellion from the other night Sorren told me about?"

"Lea, did you see that one?" Sorren asked the she beast.

"Actually no." She responded.

"I think we should all watch it in- full Animalian!" Sorren snickered.

"Sorren!!" I yelled at the playful dragon.

"You're going to have to learn Animalian sometime Alex. Why not start tonight?" The bull laughed.

"Don't worry Alex, if you get hung up- we will translate for you." Lea said gently. Lurie nodded in agreement.

So for the next few hours I watched the documentary that the others had seen on the rebellion in the Animailian language. When there was a graphic or text I did not understand Tauren, Sorren, Lurie and Lea translated it for me. It was incredibly slow going at first, but I was able to understand most of the presentation.

The documentary started by stating the reason why the rebellion existed- but what I found particularly interesting was that no one knew the size and scope nor how many groups were involved.

During my encounters with the rebellion I knew of three groups. I knew of the cel my doppelganger belonged to- which we thought had been wiped out. There was the Poet's group (Steven J Poet the broadcast said was his real name)- who also were similarly neutralized. I think members from both groups had attacked Castle Wundagore my first week here on Counter Earth and there was also Jamison's group which I had heard of in passing. But the documentary said that there were other- offshoots as well. No one knew how many.

After the documentary the five of us decided to relax by watching the day's most popular videos that had uploaded on the hub. We watched many videos that evening, but the funniest video of the day was by a beastial- a male a beagle from World Five. He had filmed what he said was a flying saucer he had seen hovering over the forest.

All of us stared at the footage intently- it did look like some sort of flying machine. But Counter Earth was filled with flying machines- it is how its residents travel from point A to point B.

The beagle claimed it belonged to extraterrestrial visitors who were visiting this world on a regular basis and were COLLECTING its residents. For what reason he didn't know. The guy was a real fruit cake, he claimed he had heard stories of beastials going missing because of these visitors. Despite all that, the video looked quite compelling. I fell asleep soon afterward while the others continued watching their videos. Flying saucers indeed. However the dictator was from another world as was I. So anything is possible.

*Poof!*

I guess someone must have carried me to off to bed from the couch because the next thing I remember was waking up and I was in bed with the trio leering at me with wicked grins on their faces.

"Sorry guys- I guess I must have been really tired, thanks for carrying me to bed." I started to say. "Uh something wrong?"

"You were so tired little human you were talking in your sleep- something about how you deeply miss Ursa and wish she was here." The coyote female said smirking at me.

Tauren looked at Sorren and Sorren looked back at Tauren. "It looks like someone is still worrying about their mistress!" The bull said to the dragon.

"Yeah love, I seem to recall a warning we gave that someone, worrying about things they have no control over." The dragon said to the bull. "What was that warning again?"

"Oh yes, if that certain someone continued to worry we would have to take that person's mind completely off their problems. How exactly were we going to do that again?" The bull said to the dragon.

"By flipping them from straight to bi. When they are lost in a sea of sex and lust, they will completely forget all about their problems- ALL of them! and everything else for that matter." The dragon responded.

"So what is the first step?" The coyote female asked.

"First make sure all participants are naked." The bull responded to his lover.

Tauren rested his head on my shoulder giving me time to adjust to the sensation of having my tail-star split open. The pain soon subsided.

"Easy love." Lurie warned. "This is his first time."

After several seconds of that, Tauren abruptly stopped and nuzzled my neck as he gently told me it's time. I was in bed with the trio. I glanced to my left to see Luire and Tauren sleeping on each other. Tauren was on the bottom his penis buried inside Lurie who was resting comfortably on his chest.

"Aw, the dragon whined just when I thought you were going to thank me for saving you from that ambush the other day."

I didn't reply- but I did kiss my friend on his forehead between his horns before I returned my head back to his chest and tried to fall back asleep.

"Ok, I can deal with that." The dragon said after some thought. "So we are buddies, not lovers."

"Uh Sorren our genitals, we're still touching." I said to the dragon.

"Hey, just because we are buddies doesn't mean we can't engage in lewd behavior!" He chuckled.

"SORREN!!!" I whispered.

The day I first met Sorren, he said he was going to have to do something about my heterosexuality and that morning I dreamed that he and his two lovers had done so.
