College was the sort of place where you started figuring out who you were and who you wanted to be. For Ari, it was a trifle more informative than he wanted it to be, and it didn’t take long for that first realization to hit.
…Yeah. Bi. Or maybe gay, but at least bi.
He stared at his dormmates from the couch, trying not to stare too much as they both argued in nothing more than their boxers. First time that he had seen guys like that? Not really; the internet had given him plenty of stuff to work with when it came to looking at naked men, though it was usually heavily dick-focused. Here, however, it was real, and while there wasn’t as much skin on display, it was hard not to stare at the two hunks.
On the one side, Garrick. Bit of an actor, got into the school drama club but dated all the girls that he could to make sure that everyone knew that the plays and the earrings didn’t mean that he was gay. Pale as a sheet, though, despite all the body-hair along his arms and legs and chest. Blonde hair, too, the sort that tended to look a little metallic from just how platinum it was. He still wasn’t convinced Garrick didn’t dye it when nobody was looking.
On the other side, Cody. A little shorter, a little thicker, the sort of guy that was just big enough in the shoulders that made you think he probably played football but probably wasn’t that good at it. He had a veritable hood of black hair that ran down his neck and the sides of his face, with more of it growing out of his chin and along his jawline to the point that his skin almost seemed to disappear into it. With all the dark body-hair, it was very much a ‘wild man of Borneo’ look, and the sort of thing that would have been rather difficult to completely get clean. Ari knew. He’d been hit with Cody’s shirts before and the guy sweated. A lot.
And what were they arguing about? Uh…Hot water, it seemed, this time.
“You know I was gonna get a shower!” Cody shouted. “You think all this crap is easy to wash in the cold?”
“Do you think that I give a shit?” Garrick shouted back. “I’m not using the new shampoo in cold water, and if I wait til you’re done, that’s all that’ll be left.”
“I need to get out to the clubs tonight. All the girls are heading out for the holidays.”
“And I need to practice for the Holiday Productions.”
“Holiday Productions? HA! Like there’s anyone that’s gonna be around for that this year.”
“Say that to the director.”
“Say that to my face!”
They were about to get into it, again. Ari knew the signals that meant that a wrestling match was about to start, and while he would have loved to stick around and see if those boxers came loose – something that happened occasionally and always called a halt to the fight with rapid ‘no-homos’ shouted at the top of their lungs – he didn’t want them to catch him staring. Again. The last time had been tricky enough to talk himself out of, and he doubted his almost-viciously straight roommates would be great about being stared at by a closet gay guy.
Or bi. Whichever it really was.
He got to his feet, moving just in time to avoid the first slam. They grabbed each other and threw themselves at the couch, probably each trying to pin the other. He had no idea how they were going to go about this, but he figured that it was time to go and see someone for some help.
Ari slid on a pair of sneakers and made his way out of the dorm. The long hallway connecting the various dormitories was half-dark from the hour, but as soon as he stepped outside, it started lighting up again.
He sighed as he looked at himself in the mirror that ran down the hallway. It was a familiar sight. The one Hispanic in the room – probably one of four in the entire building – and a bit on the chunky side compared to Cody, and particularly compared to Garrick. The pair of them outdid him in fitness on every metric, and he wasn’t about to compare himself to them like that. It would only make him feel less and less like a worthwhile person in the long run.
Shaking his head, he walked down the hallways, running one hand through his hair as he tried to think about how he was going to talk to the dorm head. They’d spent some time chatting before and it had always done something to bring his mood back up, but he wasn’t sure what else talking could do at this point.
He paused with his hand on the doorknob of the office near the end of the hall. A quick tug told him that it was unlocked, which meant that it was neither busy nor unoccupied. No excuse to turn around there.
Just do it.
Ari pulled the door open, lifted his head, and looked at the black dragon sitting by the wall-mounted desk. The white-eyed reptile turned to look at him, smiling.
“Ari. Something on your mind?”
“A bit,” he admitted. “Do you got a minute?”
“I have an hour. Come in, sit; I could use the distraction from the weather,” the dragon said, tapping a few keys and minimizing his windows. “That storm’s looking bigger and bigger.”
“Heh. Cody’s all upset that everyone’s heading home early,” he admitted, shutting the door behind him.
“I think he’s more upset that he won’t be going home himself. I imagine that he had a number of girls that he wanted to try seducing when he got there. But that’s not what we’re here to talk about, is it?”
“No…no, I guess not.”
He walked over to the couch on the far side of the room. The first time that he’d come to visit the Dorm Head, he’d been rather shocked to see that an anthro had gotten the position. Not that it wasn’t allowed or anything, it was just a bit rare to see anthros in positions of authority. They didn’t get the manager positions very often unless the boss or the owner was an anthro themselves, so seeing one here, in a human-run college, was a bit different.
Not bad, though. Not bad at all.
He leaned back on the couch, lying down and looking up at the ceiling. He could hear the big guy shifting around in his chair, scooting it across the floor, and he did his best not to be distracted. Instead, he stared at the ceiling, gathering his thoughts.
Yet, they still wandered. The first time that he’d come for help, Drac – the dragon in the chair – had been there to meet him with those strange, empty white eyes and a smile that had been almost terrifying for the number of fangs on display. He’d half-wanted to run off, to see someone off-campus for real help after seeing that. However, money had gotten him to sit down and talk.
And talk.
And talk.
Eventually, he got down to the root of the matter, and not once did the black dragon laugh at him or put him down. The whole time, Drac just listened, and the sheer relief that offered him was second to none. He hadn’t quite cried, but it had been enough to let him keep functioning for the last few months, something that he’d been afraid he’d lose the ability to do when it all started.
“So, what’s going on?” the dragon asked.
“Just…still sorting myself out.”
“Cody and Garrick still being blockheads?”
“Pretty much.”
“And you’re still wishing that they’d turn gay?”
“Or bi,” he said.
“Or bi,” the dragon said. “But you’re still wishing that?”
“…Kinda.”
“There are clubs out there, you know. You could go out and try those, if you really want to experiment.”
“Yeah, but…”
“But you want them?”
Ari sighed, rubbing his forehead with a slow nod. It wasn’t just that it was the pair of them, though the fact that they were both pretty hot in his eyes didn’t hurt in the slightest. It was the fact that he knew them. When they weren’t on sex topics, he got along with them both very, very well.
Hell, Cody had been there from the start, the jock that welcomed the new guy. They had a few similar interests in sports, and even hit the fields during the last bit of the fall months, playing some pick-up football with some of the other students.
Garrick had come along a bit later, but they were always able to talk about the finer things. He had a bit of a thing for the older musicals, and despite his lady’s-man persona, Garrick was great for watching that stuff with. All that time on stage had given him a real appreciation for good talent.
The pair of them were good guys, and he enjoyed spending time with the both of them. He just…would have liked to do that in different ways.
Sighing, he looked back at the dragon.
“It’s just hard, you know? I want to be…me, I guess, but I live with the straightest roomies in the world.”
“Dick-measuring to the extreme?”
“God, if they’d just do that…”
He groaned, pulling a cushion from the side of the couch and covering his face as he realized what he’d just said. Thankfully, there was no guffaw from the Dorm Head, but he could just imagine the smirking grin that the dragon had right at that moment. He held up one hand, trying to keep the big guy from saying anything, and it must have worked. Grumbling into the cushion, he slowly put it to the side.
“I don’t know what to do with myself. I really don’t. I want to have a good time here, but…well, every time I think about dating someone else –”
“You start comparing them to your roommates.”
“Yeah. And they never come up favorably.”
“Except, you know, you could fuck them.”
“Gah!” He groaned, his cheeks burning. “Do you have to be that blunt?”
“That’s what they pay me for.”
“Yeah, but…god. That’s embarrassing.”
“That’s part of what you want, isn’t it?”
“Well, yeah, duh, obviously, but…I kinda want it to be…you know, them. It’s like…I’ve got the two best guys around –”
“You obviously have different standards than me.”
“Okay, maybe they’re not dragons, like you go for, but they’re hot guys. For humans.”
Drac looked down at him with a smile, and the black dragon seemed to be considering something for a moment. It was a strange enough expression that Ari started to sit up again, but the Dorm Head spread his wings, shaking his head and fluttering them to make the human lay down again.
“I’m curious. If you like seeing them so much, why are you so tense?”
“Well…they don’t really like me staring. Or at least, they didn’t when they almost caught me before.”
“What happened then?”
“Um…a lot of…You know, the whole ‘what’s wrong with you’ reaction.”
The black dragon nodded sympathetically, and Ari sighed as he remembered it. They’d been in the same dorm for a month or two at that point, and they’d had a bit of a big party the night before. Nothing that would get them in trouble, but enough to get them doing stupid, drunks hit that they probably would have been better off not doing.
Well, at least the other two had.
He’d woken up and seen the pair of them naked on the floor, neither touching the other or anything like that, but naked, hard with morning wood, and…well, completely on display. If he hadn’t been so sleepy himself at the time and dealing with a slight hangover, the temptation to play with them would have been almost overwhelming.
It turned out to be lucky that he’d been too out of it to do anything but stare, though. They’d both been pissed, partially from the hangover and partially from being naked. They blamed each other, but when they realized he was staring…
Yeah, it was a good thing he’d been on the other side of the room and could look away and blame it on the alcohol.
He rubbed the back of his head as he pulled himself out of the memory.
“Anyway, that’s what happened back then. I just…I’d love to spend more time with them, but I just…I can’t stop looking at them, and I can’t stop wanting them. It’s like…like…”
“Like you’re pissed about the world giving them what they want and not you what you want?” the dragon asked.
“…Can I be selfish and say yes?”
“You can always be honest here.”
And that was something that had kept him from going completely crazy during his time at college. The fact that Drac was here as the Dorm Head, and that the dragon was always looking out for him and the others.
If it wasn’t for that, he would have lost his mind weeks ago.
He sighed, looking down at his watch. He’d been here for a good twenty minutes already, which meant that the wrestling match was probably over and the other guys had gone back to being themselves. He could probably go back to the dorm. Starting to sit up, he found the dragon stopping him again, this time with a hand to his chest.
“You sure that’s everything?” Drac asked.
“If there’s anything else, I don’t know what is.”
“Or whether it can be fixed?” the dragon prompted.
“…I don’t want fake hope.”
“Well, let’s not give you fake hope, then. Let’s see if I can give you a bit of the real thing.”
“…What do you mean?”
“Let’s start with a little hypnosis, huh?”
“You can do that?”
“It’s a specialty of mine. Took a few classes, then improv-ed the rest.”
“…You sure that you can do that?”
“Trust me. I’ve done it a hundred times. It won’t hurt.”
Ari wasn’t sure that he needed – or even wanted – something like that, but when it came right down to it, he didn’t know what else he was going to do with himself. If he did go back to the dorm now, he’d probably end up staring at the TV and hoping that the others stripped down a bit before bed for jerk-off fodder. Or something more…
Nah, probably not anything more.
Probably.
“Well…if you’re sure that you can spare the time…”
“I can.” The dragon smiled. “Now, sit up. Get nice and relaxed. Good and loose. Then make sure that you’re looking right at me. Right at my eyes.”
“Why the eyes? Is this like in those old cartoons?” he joked.
“Something like that.”
“Well…alright. Let’s give it a try.”
Shuffling until he felt as comfortable as he was going to get on the couch, he looked up at the dragon’s eyes. They were purely white, at least on first glance, the sort of empty color that made the Dorm Head look like he was blind. As far as Ari knew that wasn’t the case, but he didn’t know why the black dragon had white eyes in the first place.
However, the more that he stared at them, the more that the solid white seemed to shift into something more like clouds, with a soft empty feeling behind them. It pulled at him, dragging his attention back to them, all while the black dragon leaned forward and gently rubbed at his thighs. It should have been a bit weird, but instead, it felt…relaxing.
“Just keep looking. It’s a nice, empty space, isn’t it?” Drac asked.
“Yeah. Really…really empty.”
“It’s so easy to stare into them, all that white space, all those clouds.”
“Yeah.”
“Can you see any shapes?”
“Kinda…it’s moving…”
“Why don’t you keep staring? Keep looking. It’s so easy to look, and you might see something interesting. Just focus on my eyes. Focus on those clouds, on the emptiness, on the different shapes that the clouds make…”
It was so weird, so different to what Ari expected, but he went along with it. Drac hadn’t done anything to hurt him or make him feel worried in all their various meetings, so he could give the dragon the benefit of the doubt. Even as those eyes started to glow a little…even as he felt himself getting more and more relaxed…
More and more limp…
More and more…relaxed…limp…focused…
He felt himself leaning forward a little bit, his shoulders hunched down, his eyes slowly closing to slits as he kept staring into those cloudy eyes. As he almost slumped off the couch, the black dragon caught him, still gently rubbing his thighs, squeezing them, holding them, keeping them nice and relaxed.
“That’s it. Just so easy to keep staring, isn’t it? So much better to keep staring into my eyes. Let everything else fall away. Just me, my voice, and my eyes.”
“You…your voice…your eyes…”
“Nothing to hold you down. Nothing to keep you sad.”
“Nothing…holding me down…”
“That’s it. Just relax. Float. Let yourself drift in my eyes…”
And Ari did. More and more, he left that stress behind, until there was nothing but the happy feeling that came with staring into the black dragon’s eyes. It was such a nice, floaty feeling, and he sighed happily, his mouth slowly parting, a grin spreading along his face. He didn’t speak, didn’t say anything more. All he did was stare.
He could feel things, of course. He could feel the dragon’s hands slowly working up along his thighs, rubbing further between them than he would have ever let someone else do. Well, anyone but Cody and Garrick, he supposed. But that was far away. That was thinking. That was something that he didn’t have to do, something that he shouldn’t do.
He drifted further, falling further. He was a good boy, a good subject, a good student. He did what he was told.
“That’s it. Drift. Relax.”
“Mmmmmm…”
“You’re so relaxed now, so relaxed, so empty. It feels so good to be in this state. It feels so much better than that stressed place that you were.”
“Mmm…”
“You feel relaxed. Relaxed, drifting…obedient…”
“Mmm…”
“The more you relax, the more you want to obey. And the more you want to obey, the better it feels to obey.”
That was all true, and he nodded ever so slightly. Even that took almost more energy than he had, but he needed to do it, needed to show that he understood what he was supposed to be doing. Ari was obedient. Ari would help the dragon help him.
“That’s such a good human.”
“Mmmph…”
“Now…let’s be honest.”
The dragon’s fingers moved out of sight, and one of them pulled his zipper down. Ari groaned as he felt his cock flop out into the dragon’s grip, the scaly fingers gently giving him a squeeze.
“There’s nothing wrong, nothing bad. This is just more relaxing, more happiness, more good things. You want to relax. You want to relax and obey.”
“Mmmph…mmm…”
He nodded slowly, his head moving in time to the black-scaled fingers that were moving up and down his cock. Ari groaned under his breath, feeling himself getting stiffer, harder, more and more needy down there. His head rolled to the side, his hips twitching ever so slightly, his balls heaving and churning between his legs.
“Mmmph…”
“Now, you need to be honest. You want to tell me the truth. What do you want…what do you need…”
“Cody…Garrick…”
“You want them?”
“Mmmph…mm-hmm….”
“How do you want them?”
“On…me…under...me…”
There was little shame this time, and all the arousal as he actually answered that for the first time properly. He could feel his cock growing, throbbing, starting to drip against the dragon’s stroking hand. He moaned, leaning forward, slumping a bit against the Dorm Head. Drac gently pushed him upright again.
“What do you want? Do you just want sex?”
“No…”
“What do you want?”
“For them…to be…mine…”
“Just yours?”
“Mmmph…yes…mine…and each other’s…but mostly mine…”
He didn’t mind if they shared each other, but he wanted them for himself. He wanted them to be his boyfriends, his…his people. He didn’t want to share them with others. He didn’t want them to become gay and then want other guys.
He needed them.
He needed them.
Ari sunk deeper and deeper as the black dragon kept the handjob going, his head rolling to one side, then the other. He panted under his breath, groaning as he reached full size, throbbing, dripping on the couch. Every stroke made it harder for him to remember why he was so stressed, and he kept answering the questions honestly.
“Are you a top or a bottom, Ari?”
“Switch…”
“Mmm. Do you like it up the ass?”
“…Not…much…”
“Do you want to be fucking the others?”
“Yes…”
“Do you want anything else?”
“…Foot…foot stuff,” he admitted in embarrassment.
“Foot stuff?”
“I…I like…bare feet…and…other things…”
The dragon seemed to smile, his eyes lighting up a bit more. Ari groaned, sinking deeper and deeper into trance.
“And if you could do anything…would they stay human?”
The question echoed in his head, and he was surprised at the answer. He had never considered it, never thought of it as an option, but…
“No…”
“Why not?”
“They could be…hotter…”
“Do you want them to be hotter?”
“I want them to be hotter.”
“Do you want them bigger?”
“Not…bigger than me…but yes…”
“Heh…”
The dragon’s little chuckle was something that might have worried him any other time, but right then, he was so far gone that there was nothing but the pleasure of the hand on his cock and the eyes fixed on his. He floated in the glowing whiteness, and stopped being aware of anything else that passed his lips.
The pleasure drowned him, and he let it do it.
#
Ari groaned as he ‘woke up’, feeling the last dregs of hypnosis slowly fading away. He didn’t know what had happened to him in that time, but he knew one thing. He felt better.
A lot better, as a matter of fact.
As he rubbed his eyes, he saw that Drac had moved from sitting by the couch to sitting by the computer. The dragon was typing a few things in, a few different alphabets on the screen. Ari grumbled, rubbing his eyes again, and the black dragon turned around.
“Ah, you’re awake. Good.”
“How long was I out?”
“An hour.”
“What?” He jumped to his feet and promptly fell back on the couch, clutching his legs. “Ow, ow, ow…”
“Yeah, you might want to wait a minute. Your legs were pretty much asleep after the first half hour.”
“Mmmph…What just happened?”
“A little hypnosis to help you be honest with me.”
“You mean…it worked?”
“Yep,” the black dragon said, spinning in his seat to face his computer again. “And I’ve just about got things ready for next steps.”
“Next – what are you talking about?”
“It’s a bit complicated right now, Ari, but trust me on this. I found a way to solve all of the problems, even the ones that you’re not so aware of yet.”
“…What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Trust me. That’s all I ask.”
He opened his mouth, then slowly closed it again. After all this time of going to the Dorm Head and asking the dragon to trust him and just him talk, he supposed that Drac had the sort of credit to just allow that sort of thing. He would have liked to know what came up under hypnosis, but with the storm rolling in and everyone likely to be stuck, he had every reason to think that he’d get the chance to talk to the dragon later.
Getting to his feet after a few minutes, he nodded his thanks and walked out of the office. He paused only at a weird feeling in his pants, but waited until he was out in the hallway to reach down and adjust himself.
Weird… Almost felt like someone else had pulled his pants on instead of him. Shaking his head, he walked down the hall back to the dorm.
As he expected, the wrestling match between Cody and Garrick was long done. The two of them had separated, with Cody on the couch playing a game and Garrick reading some sort of holiday play lines in the other room. Ari shook his head as he walked in, and Cody glanced up from the game.
“Hey,” the shaggy man said.
“Hey,” he said back.
“You disappeared earlier.”
“Yeah, didn’t want to get in the way of you guys fighting.”
“Yeah, well…sorry about that.”
“Eh, it happens.”
“Wanna join me?”
He glanced at the screen. It was one of those hack-and-slash games, the sort that tended to go on for a while and usually ended up with a hell of a lot of body counts. They were brainless, completely overpowered for the character that you played, and there was very little in the way of challenge unless you were playing against someone else.
In short, it was everything that he needed at that moment.
“Sure,” he said, sitting down on the couch.
“Right. Same team?”
“Sure. You call the shots.”
And just like that, they were settled into place, working together to start clearing the battlefield of enemy warriors. One by one, they captured command points, and it was just a good way of putting the whole weird feelings that he’d been having about himself and them out of his head. That, and it was a nice way to feel close to someone without actually feeling like he was pushing something that they weren’t comfortable with.
They had finished that map and one more before Garrick popped his head out of the door. He was well-washed, shiny-faced, and looked more than slightly disappointed.
“What’s the matter?” Ari asked.
“They cancelled practice for the night.”
“Oh. Um. Sorry?”
“Hmmph. I suppose they’re relying on everyone practicing at home. I can, of course, because I’m just that good. But everyone else…”
“…You were looking forward to showing off, weren’t you?”
“YES!” Garrick said, flopping on the couch almost hard enough to make it seesaw. Only Cody leaning the other direction kept it flat on the ground. “What good is it being an actor if you don’t have an audience?”
“Well, I don’t mind listening.”
“Well, that - I would certainly appreciate something like that,” Garrick admitted, “but I doubt that the Hairy One would like listening to me monologue.”
“It’d be a change from having to do dialogue,” Cody said, shaking his head.
“...Is that a crack at me?” Garrick asked.
“Hey, hey.”
Ari put his hands up between the two of them, shaking his head. They were just starting to get nice and relaxed, and he didn’t want another fight. Particularly since the both of them were dressed and he doubted that he’d get anything like the sort of show that he’d already missed before.
“How about we let Garrick do his speech, and then we can all get into another game, huh?” Ari asked. “I mean, fair’s fair. And that way, we can do some of the bigger maps.”
“...I can go with that,” Cody said.
“And I would certainly appreciate an audience of more than one. No offense, Ari.”
“None taken.”
“Alright, then. Ahem.”
Garrick took a deep breath, and Ari settled in to wait for the full thing. It was going to be a long one, knowing his roommate, and they were going to have to earn his participation in the game.
It’d be worth it, though. Snooty as he was, Garrick was a hell of a crack shot on the big maps.
