Part 3 of the Farm Dragon series inspired by Ausfer's Dragon Ranch series.

Farm Dragon is about a woman named Dawn. Who inherits a small farm in England. Only to find more than she bargained for.

Wanted to get this out before going to bed. It still needs a little work here and there, but they'll be minor things. There is smut, but not so much of it. Hopefully the reasons will be apparent.

This is the Third part of the Farm Dragon series which is based on the Dragon Ranch series by Ausfer. Although it is not needed to enjoy this story, I encourage you to read their story first. https://www.sofurry.com/view/224981

I also think you would get a greater experience by reading previous parts before this one.

Dawn had fallen in the mud again. She wasn't usually such a clutz, but had been this time in a spectacular way. She'd tripped over something, ran to keep balance and failed. That was the least of it though. In her haste to find out what the sound was, all she had donned was a sports bra, leggings and some boots. The fall left her with one boot and leggings around her knees.

Attempts to get out were futile. Every time she freed one hand, the other stuck fast. Dawn finally gave in after her bra managed to roll up off of her breasts and hit herself in the face. Thus completing her exposure. The series of events were too perfect, all she needed was for something to come up behind her and rail her exposed pussy. Drive her into the mud and ravage her while defenceless.

On queue fur brushed against her back as a large figure took station above. Feelings of deja vu built, fueled by frustration. The creature had penetrated her and there was no pleasure, not really an invading member and no dragon in this dream or on her farm.

Dawn felt awful. It was the 2rd group of recurrences for that dream in as many months. The farm looked fantastic compared to when she first inherited it. Guilt and trying to distract herself motivated her.

The dragon was gone. She had him two days and he was gone. It was her fault because she'd only thought about her own twat instead of his well being.

There was a knock on Dawn's bedroom door which caused her to sit up faster than she would have liked.

“Morning sunshine!" James was his happy go lucky self. Which is what she liked about him and despised at the same time. Mostly despised at this point in time as he flung the curtains open. He didn't even take notice that her breasts were out when he strode across the room.

“Sssssss!" was all Dawn could respond with and pulled the covers back over her head.

She clung on tight as she knew what was going to happen next and couldn't let him.

Clinging onto the covers didn't work.

“Up you… get!" She expected James to pull the duvet cover from the bottom, he instead had pulled from the side behind her.

Dawn had remained attached to the covers, but after a brief moment of vertigo and panic, had dropped onto the floor on top of them. Naked. Her position wasn't too dissimilar from the one in her dream before.

“JAMES!" she glared furiously over her shoulder at him. Dawn caught him staring “OUT!".

He managed to look her in the eyes “I err, I'll he… sorry" he continued stuttering.

“OUT!" Dawn didn't want to repeat it a third time. James tumbled out of the room continuing to apologise and glanced back at her several times.

Dawn pursed her lips, she liked the guy, but boy did he seem like a child at times. It had been unusually warm during the nights and sleeping without clothing was her preferred method of dealing with it. She berated herself for not factoring James into the equation properly and had thought she would hear the gate squeak as he entered onto the property. Either way a mental note about getting justice was added to Dawn's to-do list.

By the time Dawn got down to the kitchen, James had almost prepared breakfast for the two of them.

“You know you don't live here right" a sight Dawn had gotten used to.

James gave some beans a stir to avoid eye contact “I… you'll miss my cooking though".

He wasn't wrong, but Dawn knew it was more to do with his workaholic nature.

“Well that depends“ Sitting at the table and catching James's attention “If you'll knock and wait before entering a woman's bedroom first".

James was caught off guard, but appreciated the teasing. “I'll try to remember, but no guarantees".

Weeks before Dawn and James went for a meal she owed him. The dinner had gone well and even felt like the beginnings of something to Dawn, but nothing happened. They ate, had a good time together and went home. They hadn't talked about it since and she suspected herself of self sabotage for not wanting to wreck their friendship or something. Using James to cover up her own guilt would be a pretty good way of doing that.

Since the meal though James had begun coming over to help Dawn repair and prepare the farm as well as make breakfast.

A quiet had descended over the full English breakfast as they ate and Dawn was the one to break it “James?" he certainly wasn't his usual self “Did I do something wrong?".

James looked at her like she was an alien “What? I'm the one that pulled…"

Dawn interrupted “No, not that. I'm on about… I mean… Didn't you want a relationship with me back then?"

James looked into her eyes reading her expression.

After a few moments had passed, a smile began to spread across his features “So that's what's on your mind".

She couldn't believe him, but was glad to have him back. Letting him continue “No. Well yes, but not the type you're thinking of"

It was Dawn's turn to be confused.

“I'm not looking for a partner. I'm… the best way to describe me is currently Panromantic. I like the relationship we have now. I don't need sex for what we have."

Dawn had to think the statement through. It didn't make her feel entirely comfortable to think they were already in some sort of “thing" without knowing. “you're going to have to explain more please".

“Well. There are more types of relationship than just sexual and I enjoy being your friend. Girls seem to have a hard time grasping that I'm a guy and don't want sex." the next part was clearly difficult for James to talk about “My previous relationships didn't go well… both cheated and both were only interested in one part of me. One was using me as a patsy alongside eight other guys to try and get pregnant. The other was a nympho and would get angry at me if I wasn't paying attention to her in" adding air quotes “that way." letting out a half hearted laugh “I'm told guys would kill for the experience, but they don't know the reality of it. I just joke I've had enough sex for a lifetime. Seeing you like I did earlier gave me ptsd flashbacks."

Things seemed to make a little more sense now to Dawn, but she had to ask “So what is our relationship exactly?".

James's happy go lucky aura returned. “A duck named Jeff. Jeff is good duck. Makes breakfast and plays in the mud."

The two of them couldn't help but laugh.

Dawn waved her friend off when he left for work at the library. They had spent the early morning installing a larger secondary gate to the front of the property and fortifying the boundary fence to the south. It had to be strong because if there was anything that was going to stop her from getting an exotic animals permit needed to keep dragons it was her neighbour. The sister of the person Dawn now referred posthumously as Auntie Ayres. Encounters with the sister had been few and far between, only spotting her from a distance. Dawn didn't even know her name yet.

Thinking about the permit briefly made her think what the point of it was now and should give up. Farm something normal.

There wasn't any post in her postbox which meant that either there wasn't any or the most likely scenario, the reason James had burst into her room and then forgotten about. It meant that it was time to play hunt the post.

As it happened it was waiting for Dawn in the first place she looked. Next to the toaster which wasn't uncommon. Dawn filed the junk mail, some fast food flyers into the bin leaving two envelopes to nose through. So much change seemed to come from these bits of paper and it made her feel uneasy at what could be inside.

One of the two was a familiar sight. A4 in size, Welsh postmark and handwriting that she recognised as her associate “Lee". It was no doubt an update or revision to a manuscript she was helping him with and wanted to commit it to memory as best she could. Lee was actually a pretty talented writer, but had a habit of over-explaining. With her help it had already shaved off at least a third of the page count.

After confirming the contents, Dawn felt it would be a good idea to actually phone Lee. It had been a little while since they had spoken and there was something she really needed to know.

“How is he?" tumbled from Dawn's mouth the moment an opportunity presented itself.

Lee had a rather unique accent and she didn't always manage to follow the things he was saying all the time. It was almost impossible the first time they spoke. Added to how panicked she was meant that a stable hand had to take the call from her.

Lee's really name was Lei Reyama and was of Japanese descent, but had lived in Wales most his life. The result made Lee sound like he sang everything he said “Eh ca~h't ha~ve hehm lle~tarned to~ oou Eh'm afllaehd a~hd oou plloba~bleh wo~n't lehku wha~t Eh ha~ve to~ te~ll oou". To her now more trained ear though she could filter out the rolling Ls that should be Rs and ignore the stretched out vowels.

“Oh… please tell me he hasn't got worse again?" She asked in earnest.

Lee had a habit of tapping his lips his hand as he exhaled. It generally meant that he wasn't sure about something and the stalling made Dawn feel awful. “He's been ehll, but it isn't to do weth what happened before. So you don't need to worr. I think I can safel say that if we would have lost him, then it would have happened.

“So why has he been ill now?" Nerves causing her to play with the forgotten second envelope in her hand.

“We couldn't keep him cool en this weather. We'd put lotion on his ear tips and splayed him with water to cool him down, but it wasn't enough. So…" Lee lip patted again which frustrated Dawn as she just wanted answers. “So… hes far had to come off".

She wasn't sure she heard what she did “Sorry? Did you just say you shaved my dragon?".

“Yes" The answer had come bluntly.

Dawn couldn't help but feel that it sounded like some sort of euphemism and giggled to herself. “The poor sod". She had to stop herself mentioning it was The Dragon's pride and joy as she couldn't reveal that she'd had much interaction. Just that Dawn had found him.

On the other end of the line she sensed Lee relax, but refortify at what he had to say next. “Lesten. When we first examined him do you lemember what we said about him?" Lee's question was rhetorical and she certainly wouldn't forget.

Her dragon, he had informed her was most likely a designer breed. Bearing a resemblance to a number of Asian breeds such as the Chinese Tiger Band or Japanese/Kurilian Feline Dragons and Canadian Tundra or Polar breeds. As these would likely never naturally meet some rich scumbag had most likely gone to unregistered breeders for a super fancy pet.

This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for a number of reasons. Dawn had done further research online and confronted Lee. There would be no certainty that dragons would be looked after well, with a black market fueled by those that didn't make it.

The thing that made Dawn most sick though, was that for a designer breed. It was common practice to remove the claws and teeth for easier handling and also so that it was less likely they could harm their new owner. The dragons wouldn't even be afforded any pain relief. The most likely destination for the parts taken were either charms or ground up for medicine. It was a good thing her dragon didn't have horns else they would have been taken too.

It was no wonder that he escaped, but a wonder he survived as well. The Dragon couldn't look after himself. Dawn could only phone Lee and Lee's regular vet diagnosed exhaustion & malnourishment. He was almost too far gone to save. After a few days stabilization he was transferred to Lee's Ranch for recovery and Dawn hadn't seen him since.

Dawn's silence showed to Lee that she did remember “We found something else… another practece with designers… eh haven't seen it personally before either" A pause “Dawn…" Another lengthier pause “Are you okay weth me telling you? It really isn't pretty".

It was Dawn's turn to fortify her emotions “Continue".

Lee really didn't want to say his next words “He has a full body brand".

She wasn't prepared “wha…?".

Lee began to explain, but was cut short “I know what it means, but why full body?".

Quietly Lee said “He es a furred dragon that es designed to look pretty. It's to stop the fur growing and make a pattern much like a tattoo. It's meant to make him prettier".

Dawn held back tears, but refused to let them come. Through gritted teeth she had to ask “Pain relief?".

Lee couldn't answer.

Dawn cried.

There was a long and miserable silence on the line and the minutes clocked by. One thing was for sure though. Those people weren't scumbags. No, they were more than that and although Dawn was lowe to swearing in front of people “Bastards" was on the top of the colourfully descriptive words to be used by her.

Dawn shook from the adrenaline and apologised for her language. Through wet eyes Dawn realised that she was still clutching the envelope and slid her finger under the closed flap, freeing the contents “Lee! It's here!".

“What's there?"

It was just the news that was needed at that moment in time “My permit! The, the exotic animals permit! It went through uncontested". This call was a real rollercoaster of emotion and tears welled within Dawn once more “I can keep dragons. I have a dragon farm. Oh my goodness".

There wasn't much more to the call and there would be a business celebration they'd decided when next they met.

“I want my dragon you know as soon as possible" was the final item she now hoped to achieve.

Lee chuckled and clapped his lips “Ehh!? e'll do what I can, but we need a little time to get him sorted out. eh won't keep him longer than eh need though. Eh need to know so I can put him in the registry".

“He's my Rowan. My Row". Dawn smiled

“Ehh?! Interesting name. Good, but interesting".

She was happy to explain why “I wanted something that meant Red because of his breast. I almost picked Phoenix or Jasper, but Jasper seemed like it would suit someone else better and it was too similar to my old dog's name Casper. Rowan just seemed nice to shorten".

Satisfied with the answer their final pleasantries were exchanged. Things were going to get busier around the farm very soon and Dawn hoped she would be ready. Rowan was a sweetheart and he deserved much more than he had in life. Dawn was going to see to that.

The following day James had prepared cereal and orange juice. He'd knocked on the bedroom door to let her know, but declined from entering. She was more awake after a lay in due to it being James's day off.

Dawn attempted to tell him about the phone conversation “James? Are you listening to me?".

He was looking out the window and seemed to be listening for something “Oh, sorry. Yeah, Lee".

Exasperated Dawn tried again “That's not what I said. My permit came. It's what we wan...".

James jumped to his feet “Oh my God, he's here! I get to see one!" and ran from the room.

“James?! Wait you mean Lee?!" Dawn gave chase from the building.

Sure enough a large transport with “warning exotic animals" plastered along the side, was very slowly squeezing itself along the tiny lane leading toward the small holding. There had been trouble maneuvering it the first time it came to take Rowan, but Dawn had a better plan for guiding it in this time around. She walked in front of the transport and waved for Lee to drive past the vehicle access gate with a view to for it to reverse.

Once aligned with the front of the next property, Dawn could have swore that she saw an upstairs curtain twitch. There were better things to be doing than worrying about the neighbours.

“James could you open the large gate please" Dawn had left him at the threshold with a goofy grin on his face. Not really helping.

With the gate open, all that Dawn needed to do was make the universe hand gesture of “spin the damn steering wheel". It was still a squeeze, but everything was aligned properly.

Dawn opened the transport's cabin door to let Lee jump down. He was a fairly short man and the idea of him being behind the wheel of such a large vehicle amused her more than it should have. If she had to guess, Lee was about 38 years old, but seemed younger due to his spiky black hair with dyed blue highlights.

“Hey Lee. This is a lot quicker than I thought" she said hopefully. Did you have a good trip here?".

“Good to see you again. Eh did thank you and good to see you too James". As he arrived from the back of the truck.

James was the most excited she had seen him yet. “Long time no see Tats. When can I see them?". The nickname was lost on Dawn though.

“What do you mean them?" Turning to Lee. The two of them had obviously talked at some point after she'd got the permit.

“Eh could not bring Lowan to you yet, but this will be a good thing. Eh have two more dragons to give to you. Lowan's behaviour on my ranch has been quite strange". Dawn hoped it wasn't anything to do with herself. “He wouldn't socialise with others of his species while with me and Eh think it would be a good edea for them to show him how he should be".

This bothered Dawn a little, well more than a little. “If I remember rightly from the book. Dragons generally live in matriarchal groups. I'm guessing you've bought me at least one girl?"

Lee seemed quite impressed she had taken the information to heart “Ehh?! You are a good study. There are some patriarchal species, but both are gerls actually. They aren't without their own problems"

Dawn wasn't sure about the last part. She didn't know about female dragons, but she felt she knew about females in general. “Problems how?".

Lee patted his lips and the two others caught each others eye. Obviously James knew what it meant as well. “The simple answer es they are rivals".

“Come on and the unsimple answer Tats?".

“Eh'd say that they borderline hate each other".

Dawn was rather puzzled by this “why not, you know, separate them?".

He'd already anticipated the question “Eh'd love to and Eh've tried, but… look Eh get a quite a few lescues. They were worse apart" a vacant look appeared in Lee's eyes. “The police had found them in a full shipping container being smuggled to another country. There were others, but... the less said. Eh don't know how long they were like it though and Eh'd hazard a guess to say their livalry kept them alive".

The more she heard about these people the less Dawn liked. She'd been won over by what had happened though “What breed are they and how much do you want for them?".

It turned out they were the same breed Lee dealt with Ddraig Coch and Ddraig Dwyrdd or the more commonly called the Welsh red and green. “The price..? Well Eh'm giving them to you. A gift for helping me".

Dawn wasn't sure and could tell something was off at this point. More so because Lee's familiar tell had happened briefly. Going through the options Dawn considered if they were such a problem that it would be more of a favour to be taking them. No, Lee was a businessman at the end of the day and Dawn suspected it was more of a test to see what she would do.

As tempting as the free dragons were “I can't just take them. How much would you usually sell one for?".

Lee smiled to her “Well it depends and can change wildly depending on age, breed and sometimes pedigree. A dragon can usuall costs a couple of thousand".

It seemed weird to be playing a game of reverse haggling “That's good, but I asked how much one of your dragons would cost?".

Lee could be seen running the numbers in his head “Well, they're a limited breed, but desirable. These two would average to about £8,000 if they were fully untrained. Eh'd sell them for about £10,000 each as they are now. Fully trained and it would add another few thousand on top of that".

Dawn could see how you could turn a profit. Forty fully trained dragons without expenses and you'd be able to call yourself a millionaire. She still needed to act as a businesswoman her own interest now and get them at a price suitable for her wallet. “Well as it is a buy one get one sort of thing how about £8,000 for the two?".

“Eh agree with the buy one get one. £10,000" was countered.

“Meet in the middle then and shake on it"

“Done"

James looked very confused “Tats would have given you them for free you know. You bid yourself up!".

“Ehh?! She could have taken them, but this is why Eh'm going to do business with her and not you".

James still didn't get it.

The inside of the transport was dark with a series of sideways dividers and had an earthy smell that Dawn could now associate with dragons. It was very subtly different from Rowan's smell, but not enough to describe how.

Lee had give the two of them a crash course in handling the dragons as they would likely be the ones doing it from then on.

James had been excited about seeing a dragon, but was beside himself with the idea of touching one. Immediately volunteering himself to take the first.

Lee unlocked and swung the partition open allowing Dawn to see the first of her acquisitions for the first time. “This is Verdigris or Verdi".

Verdi was a vibrant almost pearlescent shade of green. Along her hide seemed to be little flecks of magenta that matched her underbelly and bound wing chutes. She was the literal embodiment of what would spring to mind when someone said the word “Dragon", but in a smaller more petite form. Verdi in comparison was about a third smaller than Rowan.

Her icy blue eyes focused on James as he unfastened her head harness from the hitching loop in front of her. The purpose not only to keep Verdigris secure, but also to prevent biting and the use of her fiery breath.

Dawn had seen that look before and almost in unison with Lee called out. Although they would have been in time with an experienced handler. James was far from that and the warning served more as a distraction as Verdi hooded her spaded tail tip around his ankle and caused him to trip over. A moment later and he received a back paw to the gut. She'd trod on his stomach as she disappeared around the partition and deeper into the trailer.

“Coc y gath!" uttered Lee as he gave pursuit.

A strong contact of dragon against metal shook through the space, followed by growling and hissing from the dragonesses within.

Dawn jumped over James. Hoped he was okay and hoped that they weren't going to kill each other.

“Dawn get the hook off the wall" was the only non-colourful piece of language that Lee issued.

Within not as much was happening as she expected. Verdi was pressed up against the final partition eliciting a low grumble. The other dragon rattled the enclosure and her muzzle harness, obviously jealous that her rival had freedom that she hadn't. Lee stood watching and kept Verdi's attention.

It was all pretty anti-climactic with how easily Dawn managed to hook the muzzle and get a handle on the reigns. She lead Verdi past James who'd recovered to his feet and down the ramp where they waited.

Verdi would glance at her from time to time, but seemed most interested in the new sights and smells of her new home. She'd smelt the ground a few times and then took her time to smell Dawn. Dawn was shocked when the dragon drove their snout into her groin and inhaled deeply. Afterwards Woman and Dragoness looked at each other in confusion.

“Can you sm... “ She was interrupted by a clatter of claw against metal as the other of two her acquisitions was lead down the ramp by the men.

James looked rather worse for wear, but refused to seek medical aid, stating “I'm just a bit bruised. It would be pretty funny telling the doc that I was stepped on by a dragon though".

Verdi gave a light tug at the harness. Maybe in the vain attempt to keep Dawn's attention, but it didn't work “What is her name then?".

“Rubedo. She tends to be the better mannered of the two, but it's only because she tends to scheme more and Verdi is more… direct. Watch...". Rubedo allowed herself to be paraded in front of everyone including Verdi who had begun shaking with annoyance.

Dawn got a good look at Rue. There wasn't really much between the two dragonesses in terms of size and at a distance the only difference someone would be able to give would have been one was red and one was green. Up close however, Rue was clad in small intricate scales that perfectly interlocked seamlessly. Her underbelly and chutes were a burnished gold. Closer inspection would show the same gold banding the scales.

As Rue watched the desired affect on Verdi happen, Dawn got to see that she had brilliant amber eyes that seemed to trap and captivate any onlooker.

Dawn would have called her Amber if she didn't have a name already. “Do the names have some sort of significance Lee?".

“Just something Eh found enteresting on a calendar Eh had, to do with alchemy or something. It had a thing called 'Rage ab ovo' which was a story about a led and green dragon that hated each other. It seemed to fit".

Verdi pulled harder, which was a good sign to put them away in the stable. The walk over wasn't without displays of jealousy from each other.

Over the next few days Dawn was able to showcase to Lee many of the things they had done to prepare the property for dragon habitation.

The biggest improvement was that there was a lot less mud. Many days were spent applying sawdust and wood chipping to the worst area, the center of the yard. The soaked material was then removed, other organic material added and left to turn into mulch.

The yard had proper drainage added. Following the recommendation of Lee's book, they'd created a pool for the dragons to swim in. They were lucky as they finished just before the warm weather hit and the ground became unworkable.

Where there was originally a large twisted mess of dead blackberry bush intertwined with the skeleton of a structure, now stood a stable able to house six dragons. On the other hand the process of clearing the brambles had been a learning experience. There had been fire, the firemen had to be called out and it was James's fault.

Amazingly the building had been built within three days of the parts arriving with it's builders. Dawn went the route of hiring from a german company that prebuilt the structure and almost assembled like a DIY flatpack. They could have had it built within a day if it hadn't been for the Great British weather doing what it does best.

The orchard was lush and green again, but she still wouldn't see any fruit from them for a few months yet. The front of the disused shell of a car was stowed in a corner and now acted as as the composter there.

The tool area was rather similar to what it had been, but arranged much more to Dawn's liking. An awning and supply box had also been installed for better protection from the elements. The freezer was fully stocked and would last a good while before needing to be filled again.

Lastly the furthest eastern part of the farm which had housed a majority of the old animal pens, saw that they were removed. The old paved barbeque area was left intact as a place for the dragons to lounge around on the warm concrete. The grass had grown and red flowers sprung to life poetically signifying the lifeblood of the farm returning. Red and white butterflies moved between them.

Lee couldn't believe it was the same place and Dawn suspected that he stayed longer than intended because of how beautifully everything had come together. His own ranch had been left in the capable hands of his staff. So why not have a mini break.

It had been a good time together. The three of them had even spent one night sleeping in the transport, then another camped at the barbeque, but at last Lee declared that Dawn was capable enough to look after things from then on and make the long trip home back to Wales.

James called it a night later in the evening, the girls were put to bed and the only thing left to do was go to sleep. It didn't come easily though and nothing seemed to calm her mind. So she read some of the books that James kept renewing on her behalf.

In the coming days Dawn had enjoyed the new routine with the help of James, but on the eighth day James announced that he wouldn't be around for a little while. His mother had committed him to help out with camping with a local youth group, which meant travelling out of town. They hadn't got enough people to chaperone and his character meant that he was unlikely to say no.

Without his help the regular routines couldn't be done in the same way. Feeding was going to be the hardest task as it was James's role to keep Rubedo away from Verdigris and visa versa. If they could see each other then Rue would either leave her food in disdain and allow Verdi to eat it or chase her away to eat both portions.

Annoyingly one couldn't be left in their stable while the other ate. It would result in their own form of protest. Verdi would run around like a nutter with anything she could find in her mouth and charge at Rue with it, turning only at the last minute. Rue's trick was to place everything not fastened down into the pool and sharpen her nails on the trees.

Putting them away at night was also a chore as neither wanted to be the first to be put to bed. Yeowling as loudly as they could at their incarceration which wasn't ideal at the dying hours of the day, until the other was caught as well.

Most of the time it was okay to leave them to their own devices. Allowing them to swim or lounge about in the barbeque area, but there were times where you could tell that one of them was up to mischief.

The book had warned that dragons seemed to find comfort in having food available and would stash it in their sleeping area making it smell. They were also prone to over eat making themselves ill. Verdi had proven herself an expert pigeon hunter for any unfortunate enough to land in the property. She had been told off a few times for doing it.

It was on one of those mischief periods that Rubedo obviously knew that Verdi would get scolded and started framing her.

Dawn wondered why she couldn't have nice normal dragons instead of some sort of rehabilitation retreat for Lee's ranch run-off.

By the end of the week Dawn had found the best way to feed the two was to put Verdigris's food by the freezer, get both girls out, give Rubedo her food, lead Verdi around to her food and then stand at the corner to make sure neither snuck around to mess about with the other.

It wasn't unusual for Verdi to finish her food first as Rue liked to take her time. This particular day wasn't really any different and Verdi looked to make her way up to the orchard, but stopped to sniffed the air. She attempted to press the front door open.

Retreating after a firmly growled “No" issued from Dawn.

Verdi was certainly looking for something with how thoroughly the area was being canvassed, but it eluded Dawn what it might be. The main focus seemed to be around the lowest step to the orchard in the end, but there was nothing there.

Afterwards Dawn was given such a strange look and a sniff for good measure from the curious lizard. Verdi attempted to rub her side against Dawn the same way a cat would show affection to an owner. She couldn't allow it though. It was a known tactic to gain dominance over a handler by knocking them down to sit on. Something James had once again learned the hard way when trying to establish hierarchy with the creatures.

Dawn swatted her away toward the orchard.

By the time Rubedo finished her food. Dawn had the enrichment activity ready for the day. A local car dealership was getting rid of some worn out tires and she had the idea to scatter them around the farm in the hope that they would be interesting. She'd put some small treats in a few to increase the temptation for them.

Dawn watched from the bed from the spare bedroom window to see the result.

Rue was indeed curious about the tires. First smelling, then putting her weight on one. She looked around to make sure no one was watching and then dragged it around as fast as she could. The tired bounced out of her teeth and rolled away from her.

Seeing it start to escape, Rue gave chase and continued to roll it. Right into the swimming pool…

Dawn thought it was probably one of the best things she had done with them so far. Well, Rubedo at the very least seemed to be having fun. Dawn hadn't seen Verdigris in a while and suspected that if she'd seen what was going, on would be sulking somewhere. Verdi hadn't gone to her stable though and she was quiet. Too quiet.

As Dawn was about to make a move, a green and purple blur raced over towards Rue and then away. Poor Rubedo was startled having just found one of the treats. It was too far away, but Verdi had something in her mouth that she felt gave an advantage in their rivalry that she wanted to show off. It was something small, purple and made out of material. Rue gave chase and whatever it was, it was something they shouldn't have.

Coming upon the two dragonesses, it was fairly comical to find them stock still having a tug of war over the item. It didn't even look as if either was pulling. Just holding it and breathing hard through their nostrils.

“You two look like you are going to kiss" Dawn chuckled. “Wait! where did you get those?" before grabbing and making it a three way competition.

The item in question was a pair of purple knickers that Dawn had lost at “some point".

Dawn wasn't going to win against the two of them, she knew this, but it was mostly about the principle. “These are mine".

Verdi “Trilled" at Rue.

Rue “Burrbled" at Verdi.

They both loosened the tension a little and Dawn having seen an opening yanked as hard as she could. Too hard. It was a trap. The elastic snapped from Dawn's fingers and unexpectedly for the dragons, their teeth as well. Dawn landed on her butt.

The underwear flew through the air straight into a tire. Verdi was the quickest to react and her head was straight in after it. Rue tackled Verdi as her head also disappeared into the tire in search of the garment.

Dawn couldn't get near them safely as they trashed against each other the tire lodged on their head and preventing escape. She was terrified they would hurt each other as claws flew and muscular tails slapped against the earth.

Eventually they calmed down, their prize forgotten and lost once more. A more pressing problem for them both on their minds.

In unison they moved their heads to look at Dawn and began “Cooing" and “hurring" at her. Without a doubt, if they could talk the thing they would be saying would be “Human, we require your assistance".

Inspecting the tangle, the tire wasn't going to simply pull away. With their head all the way through as they were, their horns wouldn't allow a return trip the way they came. The tire would need to be cut.

Dawn went to leave, but the distressed cry from the dragonesses tried to prevent her. She hushed them “I'll be right back okay" and simulated her own “purrumble" back at them. In some ways it was nice having them so… so passive.

Returning with saw in hand. Dawn tried to find the best angle to cut from. Concluding that she would need to straddle the neck she attempted to mount them. It gave a good view and she could hold their necks at a better angle. Even with their situation, the girls refused to cooperate. Their dominant pride not allowing someone to sit on them.

If they held still, the reverse angle was an option and to Dawn's surprise they allowed it. They even lowered their heads to her meaning she could kneel while she worked.

As she did, Dawn could feel each time they exhaled against her groin. She forced the idea that it was a long time since she'd been “that" close to her dragon. It was probably for the best though.

About four fifths of the way through a hiccup escaped her as something slid forwards along her trouser groin. A tongue had snaked its way from Rubedo's mouth to get a taste. Rue let out a “Harf" in realisation alerting her bound rival to the same thing.

Quickly Dawn went to move and was stopped. Verdi was always quicker and grabbed Dawn's waistband.

They'd been hyped up on the smell of her sex all the while from the knickers. They'd found the source. They inhaled deeply and “purred".

For two rivals, they sure did work well together when they wanted something.

Enduring more licks, the last fifth of the tire perished to the saw. As she wasn't struggling while she worked, it earned her a slimy lick to her side from Verdi.

Dawn didn't want the situation to escalate given what happened to Rowan. She knew it was wrong and she really couldn't have sex with every new arrival.

Now that they had a means to escape the tire, Dawn wanted to retreat. They were in a state of lust and knew what they wanted though. Trying to move, earned Dawn a rather unpleasant double nip to the thigh and it seemed she'd already been pushing the limit on how much she could subjugate the pair that day. The number one piece of information Lee had given and written several times in his manuscript was, “Dragons have a short temper and anger very easily. They are very dangerous. Don't take risks, back off and let them do what they want".

I shouldn't leave.

“I don't think he was thinking about this exact situation though. Where's the passage about getting dragon tongue shoved up your crack girls?"

They tilted their heads in unison which was a feat to behold, the tire still around their necks. Realising it was still there themselves caused them to pull from each other. In time they would have escaped on their own, but as Dawn couldn't leave. Helped them free by pulling open the sawed gap “Come on. Let's get this over shall we".

The next action wasn't expected though. The dragonesses sensing that Dawn was on board, moved in unison once again, raised their tails and bowed their fronts. With their upside-down Y shaped profile formed by their rears. Their puffy swollen slit was plain to see. Clear moisture had spread from the source, a visible bit of pink between each of their nether lips. Their lubrication smeared to the nearby flesh.

They looked back at Dawn, an unmistakable look of desire in their eyes, willing her to come forwards and unmistakable felt that she was experiencing the wet dream of someone or some-dragon somewhere in the world. It was almost short lived when they caught the eye of the other and rivalries remembered. Both didn't move an inch as the hissed and spat at each other, still with their rumps proudly on display.

“Hey!" caught their attention again. Dawn fought against the funny idea of, what if when they turned back to look, she was in the copied position and her twat pointed at them. It was her own arousal taking hold, but maybe if it was unavoidable another time.

Dawn moved toward her captors. Which one to go to first?

To be Continued...

This chapter had been a bit of a mixed bag for me to be honest. It has had me all over the place emotionally. I've loved it and hated it. I do worry that I'm getting a little complacent though.

Part 4 has been plotted, but I'm will probably going to take some time to read other peoples stories and make sure I go to sleep at the right time, rather than writing up to an hour past my bedtime.

I also need to reread some of Dragon ranch seeing as how I'm introducing Female dragons. In some ways I hoped to avoid the pending F/F/F as it isn't really something I'm into, but these stories are about exploring what my partner is into. We shall see. Hopefully I can make it interesting for myself.

Either way I hope Rowan comes back soon. I like writing about him and Dawn needs to give him a nice cuddle for me after finding out what he has been through.
