Tesarasa has bound Kerage to her cloth shackles, but for what purpose?

Kerage's eyes widen, mumbling something through his gag.

Tesarasa tilts her head and smiles. "Oh, you thought I was Eliamaros's daughter? You really must be stupid."

Kerage is left bare-chested, sitting on a tiled floor with a puddle of rainwater forming around him. Standing before him is the very-much-adult Tesarasa, a smirk upon her face and a lack of practical covering anywhere upon her body. She's stunning in her ill-concealing outfit, but the venom in her eyes makes the knight realize the mistake he has made in judging her as a younger and less-experienced adventurer instead of the powerful mage that she is.

He can punish himself later for his mistake. For now, however, he must fight. He lifts his arms, ready to grab at the gag pulled tight against his mouth. The way Tesarasa holds him down with it is more akin to a bit than to a simple means to stop his communication. He reaches up, fighting against the pain of the cloth pressing against his lips, only to feel another band of soft yet tough fabric wrap around his wrist and pull it back, another swiftly catching his other hand.

"I'm even more disappointed in you, old man," the youthful caster coos. "I heard so many good things from Silvia about your exploits in your youth. How, ten years ago, you and your companions vanquished a great evil and how she looked up to you as her knight and shining armor. When I kidnapped her, I thought I would be getting myself a real man as a catch, not some has-been who treats me like a child, calling me 'Tesa' and worrying about my safety, as if I cannot help myself."

Kerage's eyes sharpen, and he growls, lashing against the magical bonds.

"Oh, mention the princess, and you get all fired up, of course. She's younger than I am, you know. Well, younger than I present myself, that is. You humans and your hangups with numbers are so silly." Her pointed ears flutter at the remark. "But, we don't have to dwell on that.

His legs and boots aren't pinned down, so while she spins around to ramble on, he shifts and slides, trying to get them free from under his weight so he can push himself up, perhaps even wrench free from the bonds that hold him. He glances from the very edge of his vision, seeking the origins of the things that chain him down, only to see that they stick out of the floor through magical portals. He grunts and grumbles, fighting to pull against them, slowly, slowly making some progress.

"I'm sure you have a lot of questions, and I'm pondering on if I should tell you or not. Which would be more fun, keeping you in the dark or telling you everything about my plans?"

With a soft hiss of pain, Kerage can slip his leg uncomfortably so that he can plant his foot upon the floor. Pressing against the slippery floor, he pushes himself upward, the bindings cutting against his wrists and mouth, his head and chest beading with sweat.

His boot is made for traction, but even so, the thing squeaks across the floor, and he feels himself tumbling forward.

He slides his other foot into place with a quick maneuver, catching himself, even if awkwardly.

"Yes, perhaps I should tease you with the truth. That way, you could fight a lot harder to get your freedom, your justice… maybe even revenge?" She chuckles. "Oh, what would a man do to a woman like me after she's revealed all that's been done to the virginal princess? I could scarcely imagine."

Hearing those words, Kerage pulls against the restraints and stomps forward, the bands around him ripping and snapping, setting him free, setting him forth on direct contact with Tesarasa. To grab her, force her to tell him everything to free him from this pocket dimension and…

And what? What could he, can he, would he, do to her?

He hesitates, his hands ready to grab her by the shoulders.

That's all she needs.

The floor gives way under him, opening up as a hole to some darkness below. He falls down, grabbing at the edge, reaching out for her ankle to drag her down with him.

She turns toward him, looking with an upturned nose towards the knight. 'My, my, what true faces men show when they are tied up. Treat them like an animal, and you'll get an animal in return."

She presses the toe of her shoe against his fingers, grinding against his quivering hand. "But I don't want any old animal… I want obedient doggies who will do everything I say because they want to."

She lifts her foot and stamps down, the force and pressure sending pinching pain to his fingers and knocking Kerage off of his precarious precipice.

He falls, the light of the foyer disappearing as wind whips by his back at an alarming speed. Soon, the prin-prick of light is entirely gone, and he lands with a 'thump" against a soft floor amidst a sea of non-light that he could see through.

Her words echo through the top, where that distant star in the sky twinkles, saying, "I do have a name for this place, you know… it's Tesarasa's Terrific Tower. Don't think I don't have plans, Mister Knight because I've been planning and desiring things since longer than you were alive."

The last bit of light disappears with that, and he is left alone in that void. Kerage rubs his throbbing knuckles, wondering, then, if he would ever get out. If his companions would ever find him, and, most alarmingly, if the excitement in his heart at this situation… this woman… would go ever go away.

He was once a proud knight, and before that, he was a hearty and haughty adventurer. Now, Kerage finds himself imprisoned in some sorceress's inter-dimensional palace, stuck in some void in which he cannot so easily escape. Would his party find him? Are they even still on his side? Who is Tesarasa, really?
