Chapter Two

For: Revakulgr
Axel's memories had been most helpful in beginning the process of creating a power-positive base from which to build in this new world. Revakulgr was quite glad of the fact that she was accomplished with transmogrification. It gave her a starting point, as she had discovered that currency was necessary to becoming powerful in this realm. Thankfully, there were those who would exchange useless metals and stones for the currency of the kingdom... country. All she had to do was transmute some of the detritus scattered about the warehouse into gold, silver, and gems, then... mail them to the appropriate merchant. She would then receive a slip of paper in return a few days later, a check, which Axel would then deposit in the electronic bank account that she had owned when human and male. Axel had not kept much in the way of funds, only enough to pay for the few needs she could not use magic to solve, so Revakulgr had a long way to go before reaching the critical mass required for money to translate into power. It would be helpful if she could get a second human under her control, though she feared that would take far more than only a couple of months to achieve. The memories that she'd absorbed indicated that this area was only infrequently visited by humans of a kind that would be useful to her without severely curtailing their mental abilities and enslaving them. She did not need... "drug addicts" or "gang-bangers" but those who would be able to move though higher levels of society, and to reach them she would need more currency first.
It was a vicious cycle, but one that would eventually be remedied. The discarded bits of steel and iron that her kobolds scavenged became silver and gold with a few hours of concentration, and the chunks of carbon-heavy rock became diamond with lesser gems made from other substances. Once she had a few hundred thousand "dollars" stored in the electronic bank account, she would need to begin venturing out into society to learn more. She would initially need to disguise herself as Axel's previous human form, using the male human identification to unlock doors that simple thievery would not. Such as the Internet, or world wide web, a network of communication and information that could only be accessed via a "laptop" or "smartphone." She had neither, nor did Axel. The human had lived simply, hiding himself as much as he could from a society that would fear his power. Considering what he knew of the past, of hunts for those with magic and extermination of them, she did not blame him, but it made things slightly more difficult than they truly needed to be. If the human had made more time to interact with the rest of the world and less to study, though, he might well not have had the knowledge and power to bring her to this realm. Still, the knowledge was useful enough, a starting point much like the bank account, a means to further her foothold in this realm, though not a great one. Besides, Moxty was quite fond of his new mate, and the female kobold had already laid their first clutch. It would do Revakulgr little good to grow angry over things that could not be changed and punish cute little Axel now.
Still, she needed a way to expand her influence. Axel knew that there were ways to use the internet for such things, but did not know what those ways were. The best suggestion his memories could provide was to place an advertisement in a newspaper, which he knew were outmoded sources of information and only infrequently used. No, that was useless. She needed a means to lure in at least a dozen humans, which she could then drain for a hopefully more complete understanding of this realm. She would need those with technical understanding, those who understood finance and business, those who could act as her direct agents and those who could act as go-betweens for yet more agents. She needed layers and layers, and she had little understanding of how she could even begin to start building them. It was unfortunate that creatures such as kobolds did not exist, or she could use them, but they were just as foreign as dragons to this realm, and she was hesitant enough to send them out scavenging at night or to the automatic teller machine to deposit the checks received from the merchants. They had been able to steal some baggy clothing that masked their small forms, but she could not be certain if it was enough of a disguise in the dark of night to protect them from harm. Axel's memories indicated that this was a "rough part of town" wherein dwelt those might do her dear attendants harm in the mere hope of profiting from the act.
Unfortunately, the option to wait and further build her baseline was taken from her. She sent the kobolds out only at night and only one at a time, not wanting to risk both at once and needing someone to stand guard over her while she slept, not to mention that their eggs required tending. They would sleep during the day while she worked in transmuting garbage into the metals and gems that the humans valued. They were most active at night, and Axel had done most of his movement and work at night, so despite the repeated warnings that cropped up in memory, she felt herself most safe at that time. The truth of that was brought to home during the third month of her presence on Earth, as the realm was called. She was woken by a terrific clatter and much squealing accompanied by shouts. She woke groggily to find that it was still dark, though that was no hindrance to her vision. Axel had been sent out to deposit another check and had run into trouble upon her return, it seemed. The kobold wore a garment called a hoodie that covered her from horn to claw, though that had apparently attracted some attention. A much larger figure was struggling with the small, squirming reptiloid in the corner they used to enter and exit via a retractable panel in the wall. Some shelving had been left over from when humans used the place for whatever enterprise had once been done here, and it had fallen over with a crash atop the pair.
Revakulgr hastily cast a ball of light to float above her head as she hurried to assist her attendant with Moxthurirl beating her there. The small male threw himself violently into the larger figure, which let out a curse and flailed at him. It was a human, a male as Axel had been, wearing the kind of garments the dragon's stolen memories said indicated a figure of authority. Humans seemed to derive such from their clothing, or at least used garments to signify such things, and this one appeared to be an officer of some kind, either security or police. Moxthurirl used the man's distraction to drag his mate free, then prepared to launch himself into the fray once more, but halted at Revakulgr's sharp command. This drew the human's attention, and he let out another curse, clutching at his waist with one hand. The dragon did not understand the purpose until the man brought up what memory identified as a weapon, a gun. Before she could act to defend herself, however, it spat in her direction. The roar of it was startlingly, painfully loud, and she felt sharp pain as bullets struck at her chest, neck, and nose, though they only managed to score her scales. If they had hit in a sensitive spot, such as her eyes or inside her mouth, they could have done her great harm, and she roared out challenge to the human for daring to invade her lair.
Again, before she could act to attack or capture him, they human acted, fleeing back through the door to the warehouse with a shriek that faded swiftly into the night. That was not good. Axel had chosen this location for its isolation. It stood on the outskirts of the city, part of a district where abandoned buildings crumbled, and there should have been no guards to patrol here. That left a police agent, one who must have found Axel suspicious and followed her back to their hiding spot. She would need to move locations, immediately. Axel would always abandon any place where he was discovered with greatest haste, and the dragon fortunately did not have much that needed moving. The problem would come in finding a place that would be able to hide her bulk. She waited for a short time, hoping that the human was making good his escape, then sent both attendants out to locate a place for them to move as swiftly as possible. Her panicked mind whirled as she tried to think of what could be done, but even her stolen memories had nothing that would help. Police would swarm the location to root her out, hunting her relentlessly unless she could hide all evidence of her existence. She could not even fly to one of the other hiding spots that Axel had setup for she knew that air traffic was monitored by radar. Attempting to slink along the streets would do her no good either; she'd have trouble getting across streets, and the apartments that Axel had rented wouldn't fit her without transforming herself first. If she did the last before she had properly prepared, she might never be able to resume her true form, which was not something she desired.
Her heart leapt into her throat when she noticed the silvery badge that lay on the ground where Moxthurirl and Axel had tussled with the human. She hurried to snatch it up, but the surface was inscribed and engraved, too broken to show a useful reflection. Yet, if it had belonged to the human, if it were meaningful to him, then she could create a connection. Without a proper scrying surface, the effects she could be certain of were minimal, but... Yes, yes, that she could do. She could send out a compulsion to return, to come back to the item and therefore to her. Without a stronger connection to the human, without knowing who he was and how he thought and what he wanted, she could do no more than that. Hopefully it would be enough. It would have to be enough. Without her kobolds to watch her back, she had to find some place to hide, somewhere that she would not be obvious. She did not want the human to use his gun again. It was a dangerous weapon, one that Axel's memories said was unfortunately prevalent in this realm. The rafters... yes, that would do, though it was a cramped space for her size. Once wedged between the girders, though, she felt far more secure, a full body-length above the hard concrete, with a perfect view of the entrance where the human should arrive.
The dragoness began to concentrate on the small item held between her foreclaws, sinking her presence down into it and feeling for the tether to its owner. Thankfully, it was a very strong tether. This emblem meant very much to the human that owned it. It was more than strong enough for her needs, and she considered if she might try something a little bit more. She contemplated it and thought of something that she thought might work. The compulsion to return for the item would get him here, certainly, but she could use someone knowledgeable. Someone with authority would also be useful. It was a matter of finding a lure strong enough. Would the concept of a lure itself be enough? The problem was that to use such a concept, she would need to be able to fulfill it. That was the trouble with building such links directly to an individual: it forced one to imbue part of oneself to the spell. That was why it was best to be knowledgeable of the individual before casting spells of this kind, so that one could be certain of being able to pay the price. She would be bonded to the human forever, or at least until she could fulfill the promise inherent in the spell. Was it worth such a price to remain hidden? Yes. Yes, it was worth the price. At this point she had no choice but to give whatever was necessary unless she wanted to either become a captive or return to her own realm.
Revakulgr deepened her concentration, winding a thread of her own life force around the twined spells, sending out both: a compulsion to return for the lost trinket and a promise of greater reward, any reward that she could provide. She made certain to weave in that caveat, ensuring that nothing he would desire would be more than she could grant. That gave her a slight safety net, because he might ask for something she could not currently give but would be able to in the future, meaning that they would be bonded for that long. The trick, as with Axel, was to interpret the request in a manner that would fulfill it but would prevent her from becoming overly burdened in the process. She felt the magic leave her, sliding down the tether towards the owner of the badge, and then there was nothing but to wait. Either Moxty and Axel would return with a new lair found, or the human would return and fall into her trap. It had been perhaps an hour since the human had left, more than enough time for him to have called in reinforcements, but she hoped that the shock and terror might have overwhelmed him. Axel's memories indicated that humans were frequently incredulous when faced with things beyond the realms of their experience. She waited. Then waited longer.
The adrenaline and fear that had kept her awake had begun to fade by the time that something happened. She had begun to doze off in the rafters when the door slowly creaked open once more, a trembling light beam shining through the cracked opening to scan over the warehouse floor, jerking back and forth to scatter shadows as it sought out its quarry. The dragon was glad to have thought of concealing herself and continued to wait patiently, despite a desire to pounce and seize her prey. Eventually, the door opened wider, and the human entered, but Revakulgr held her peace still. Her stolen memories advised that officers remained in touch with a base camp, and she would need to ensure that he had called an all clear before she could act further. If nothing else, she could remain hidden until he left and follow her attendants to a new place of greater safety, but if the human would only call an all clear... With the beam of his flashlight still scanning about, the man entered and began to stalk about the warehouse floor, undoubtedly ensuring that it was empty of the "monster" he had thought he had seen. He then spent several minutes examining the floor near the doorway, assumedly looking for his dropped badge. Then came the moment that the dragoness had awaited.
The human clutched at his shoulder and spoke. "Dispatch, this is Krieger. Looks like the perps have evacuated. I'm not seeing any sign of them or... the animal. You can call off the backup. I'll come back in the morning to look for my badge again. For now, I'm gonna head home. I think two weeks worth of doubles is getting to me."
"Ten-four," came the scratchy, tinny response. "Just give us a call if you want a hand with the search or need to report it missing."
"Will do, Jane, have a good one."
The dragoness slipped down from the rafters with a swift spell to hide the sound of her descent and crept towards the human, who stood continuing to search around the doorway. She was about to speak when he turned to give the main floor one last glance, the beam of his light struck her chest. Slowly, the flashlight trembling in his hand, he raised the beam until it flashed against her eyes, causing her to growl slightly. He scrambled to draw his weapon once more, but she was prepared this time. The binding spell froze him in place, though he had an amazingly strong will, fighting against hers to keep him in place.
"Peace, human!" she begged, hoping that he would cease his attempt to attack. "I mean you no harm. I have drawn you back here for a reason."
Her speech seemed to shock him out of his panicked defensive state, and the clatter of his badge when she tossed it at his feet even more. He managed to break free of her binding to pin the badge in his light beam, then swiftly bent to snatch it before training the flashlight on her face once more. It was annoying, forcing her to squint and narrow her pupils, but she tolerated it for the moment. She couldn't see him well enough to make out detail, but she could see that his gun arm had slightly relaxed, not immediately ready to the weapon.
"You're... really a dragon," came an awed pronouncement, and she tried to hide her sigh of relief. Negotiation was much simpler when the other was prepared to talk rather than fight.
"Yes, human," she agreed, settling on her haunches then lowering her chest as well, hoping that lying down would make her less intimidating and threatening.
"You're a fuckin' dragon!" He let out a victorious crow and danced around for a moment, for all the world looking like a kobold who had been given a marrow bone. "Jesus, I'm gonna be rich! Or famous! Or both! A real, live dragon!"
She reached out to take him in a foreclaw, pinning his arms to his sides, and his fear returned, which was pleasing. "I think that doubtful, human. If you reveal my presence, then I will be most displeased. From what I understand of this world, I would likely become some kind of... lab rat, a creature experimented upon, held captive by... scientists or the government. I would find that to be a less than ideal outcome, and I can assure you that I would seek revenge after regaining my freedom."
She carefully released the man, half expecting him to attack her, but he simply nodded his understanding, so she pressed onward. "I summoned you back here with the lure of reward for service. I am in need of assistance and guidance in this realm. I have only a basic understanding of how I might best survive here and grow powerful. If you agree to assist me, then I shall grant you whatever boon is within my power."
He seemed to consider that, taking a minute to think it over. "Anything? If I help you, then you'll give me anything I want?"
"That is the bargain, human. You swear loyalty to me, to provide guidance and assistance, and not to reveal my presence, and I shall grant you one wish, whatever your heart desires that I am capable of providing."
He considered again, but for a much shorter time. "I want your treasure."
"My... treasure."
"Yeah, your treasure. Dragons have treasure. That's kinda your thing. Gold, jewels, magic items, whatever. I want your treasure."
"I... do not have much in the way of gold or gemstones. I could create some for you, but it would take time, several hours at least."
"Hm. Well... in that case, what about your greatest treasure, whatever that is? That's not a bad deal is it? Just the one thing instead of a whole pile of stuff."
This time, it was Revakulgr that pondered. No matter how he asked, she still didn't actually have any treasure, at least not of the kind that he had initially asked. The previous day's transmogrification had been mailed off, and no new ones had yet been made. Treasure, however, could be a subjective term. For instance, she treasured Moxthurirl. He was something that she could provide, but he was decidedly not something she was willing to part with. What else did she treasure? What else did she have that could be considered a treasure? Ah, well, that was simple, now wasn't it? After all, what greater treasure did a female have? Of course, there were other ways to give such a treasure than the obvious. She schooled her face to prevent a grin.
"Very well, human, I shall offer you my greatest treasure, then. My virginity."
The human dropped his flashlight, which flickered and died. That was pleasing, as it let her eyes adjust to the darkness once more, and she saw that the man was shocked. He seemed to have lost her in the dimness, though, so she summoned a light sphere once more, sending it to hover behind her head so as to not blind her. He blinked up at her, still seemingly in disbelief, but shook it off.
"You'd let me fuck you? I'd get to fuck a dragon?" He rubbed at his chin, then nodded to himself. "Well, it wouldn't make me rich, but that's a hell of an offer, once in a lifetime for sure. I think... yeah, I think I'll take it. You said I have to help you in return? Uh... guidance and assistance? Would I get anything more from that, some kind of benefit for continued help?"
The dragon let out a considering growl, then nodded. "Yes, you would benefit."
"I'll take it, then. Uh... do we shake on it or something?"
That confused Revakulgr for a moment, but she consulted Axel's memories then shook her head. "No, but I will need some of your blood. It is necessary to complete the spell and seal our bargain."
The man cringed slightly but stretched out his hand. Gingerly, considerate of his much smaller size, the dragoness used the talon of one foreclaw to slit his palm with her other foreclaw held beneath to gather his vital fluid. While the blood was not exactly required, it did provide a direct conduit to the human and his body. His acceptance of their pact provided the necessary permission, preventing him from resisting her spell. She was glad, yet again, of her proficiency with transmogrification spells. It was far easier with living creatures than with inanimate objects. Part of the nature of living creatures was to grow and change, which provided the magic a medium for its operation, whereas objects resisted by their nature; they were meant to be what they were and nothing else, which was why it took effort, whether manual or magical, to alter them in any way. Altering oneself was easiest, though it required knowing oneself well in addition to knowing the shape to which one would change, otherwise reverting the changes could become impossible. Fortunately, the changes that Revakulgr would need to make to herself were well enough known. Every dragon with any skill at transmogrification experimented with their gender, after all. And she knew well enough the changes she needed to make to the human as well, for she had lived them.
She focused her power, drawing it down into herself and altering her own body first. The changes were imperceptible to the human, so far as her stolen memories could determine. They had a poor sense of smell, and her positioning hid her hind end from him. There was a slight gurgling sound and some discomfort between her hind legs as the spell took hold. Before the human could take notice, she pushed her power into him as well. The changes he underwent were much more dramatic. His face suddenly erupted into a muzzle as scales began to spread across his skin. Muscle piled onto his body as bones snapped and crunched amidst the rip of shredding fabric. Nails became talons, teeth sharpened, a tail forced its way out from his tailbone, and wings began to grow from his shoulders. He grew, scratching furrows in the concrete under the not-quite-pain of the transformation and became something else over the course of several minutes. While Revakulgr was a majestic black dragon, she had chosen a naturally smaller breed for the human though one that shared her poison affinity. The pale scales deepened their hue to a forest green, and the dragon cast one additional spell on the transformed human, one she had used on her own sister multiple times. His new form was perhaps not quite matured enough for such a spell to properly take effect, but Revakulgr had increased entropy with the spell rather than reversing it.
The human, while adult by the standards of his species, was barely adolescent in terms of dragon aging, and half Revakulgr's size at best. The black dragon moved forward to crouch over the newly-made female, wrapping his foreclaws around her hips and pulling them upwards. The former human was unfamiliar with her new limbs and flailed in an attempt to escape, but Revakulgr bit the back of her neck while hiking her hips further. The strong musk of a dragoness in season was filling his nostrils, and he could feel the sheath between his legs plumping, his testicles swelling, preparing to breed his mate and claim her fertile womb, but the transformed man saw fit to complain.
"Wait!" she protested, whimpering softly. "I thought you were giving me your virginity! This isn't how that works! This isn't how that works at all!"
Revakulgr let out a soft chuckle, and released his hold long enough to answer. "Oh, most certainly it is. I have not mated as either a male or a female, and so I give you my male virginity. Our pact is sealed, and your wish granted. You are mine."
With that, he bit at her neck once more and began to thrust his growing shaft towards her rear. She squirmed, and his inexperience was nearly his undoing. If she had managed to escape, managed to flee him, the spell might well have ended up broken. Fortunately, she thrust herself backwards in her flailing, and he felt the hot wetness of her vent. With a tug at her hips and a thrust of his own, he plunged himself into her. She let out a squeal of complaint, but he clamped a foreclaw around her muzzle to silence her. There was no sense in attracting further attention. With that tight, clasping, moist heat surrounding his male member, he began to thrust, hard and fast, taking no care for her pleasure, only interested in sealing her fate. The initial spell had already been discharged with the consummation of their mating, but he wanted more than that. Particularly with the clench and squirm of her flesh against his sensitive shaft, he wanted far more than that. What use building an empire without a dynasty to share it with?
"Submit and be silent," he demanded, forcing yet another spell onto the female. "You will obey. Your loyalty demands it."
Though that was a lie, the green dragoness subsided with a whimper. So long as she believed it, then it would be so, just as he had twisted words to his own use. From there, it was only left for him to take his pleasure, and he did so. He set a foreclaw between her shoulders, pinning her to the floor and pounded his hips against her, driving his shaft against the rear wall of her tunnel. It had to be uncomfortable, probably painful, but she was bound to take it without complaint aside from cringing and clawing at the concrete. Revakulgr could understand why his idiot brother spent so much time fucking the drakes considering how good it felt to breed this small, tight, ripe female. And breed her he did, his knot swelling to lock them together as he emptied his full balls into her, drowning her eggs in his seed. The pain must have been overridden by pleasure in the end, because he felt her clenching and squeezing at his knot and shaft, milking him as she huffed with silent orgasm. It had felt so good that he decided to do it again, casting an additional spell on the green to increase her production of eggs. A nice, large clutch would be perfect, half male and half female. Once they had begun to grow, Revakulgr could alter the embryos to suit his desires. For now, he refilled his balls and took his spell-bound mate for a second time, driving in even more forcefully and finding her responding just the same, climaxing when his knot filled her.
After the second time, Revakulgr allowed the exhausted, bloated female to rest and reverted to the true, female nature of her body. The transformed human's belly was swollen with seed, leaking a rather large pool from between her legs, but the dragoness didn't care. So long as the spell held, which would last for as long as she desired it, the former male was hers. The danger was passed for the time being, though further action would be necessary soon.
"You may speak," she told the young female green. "Answer my questions. What is your name and how long will it be until you are missed?"
"Alex," the former male answered with a half-sob. "Alex Krieger. I have a shift- ow! I bith my thonge. I haf a shiff tomorrow nigh. Ow... Sharp teef..."
"You will adapt, in time. But I will allow you to resume your former shape for a time, as well. You will need to settle your affairs and... give a leave of absence. Quit your job, preferably. You are mine now, and I will need you to be nearby. You are to be my advisor and assistant. I will give you back your former body, with some slight modifications, so that you can venture into the rest of the world on my behalf. At least until the eggs begin to grow. Such a small body would be burst by them. We shall need to move quickly, and it would be wise to secure a more... defensible and secluded lair. Do you have any ideas for doing so?"
"I haff a cab- ow! Pleath help..." Revakulgr chuckled and cast a simple healing spell, restoring the green's damaged tongue to full health. "Thank you... I have a cabin outside of town, inherited from my grandfather. It's on thirty acres of woodland- ow! Fuck! Thanks... How do you talk with all this tongue and teeth? Gah. It would be able to hide you pretty well. I could take you in the back of a moving truck... I guess it would hide me pretty well, too. It got upgraded about a decade ago with power, running water, and internet, so there's modern amenities, but we'd still need to get supplies from town."
The ebon-scaled dragon grinned widely. That would do perfectly well. Yes, it would be a very good start. And with a human who had been more integrated into the modern world as a guide, things should progress much more swiftly. With access to the internet, she would also be able to study humans and practice assuming their form, which would allow her to begin further plans. Yes, this was absolutely perfect.
"Good, then, Alex. You shall be most useful to me. Tomorrow, I shall return you to human form, and you shall proceed with doing as you suggested after you have settled your other affairs in the city. For tonight, rest. You did mention that you have been doing much work of late, and you should become accustomed to your new body. It shall be your natural form for the rest of your life."
With a soft whimper, the green dragoness obeyed, laying her head down atop her foreclaws and attempting to get comfortable, with her hind legs spread around the pooled cum that still seeped from her. The black dragon would await the return of the kobolds, then attempt to get some more rest herself. Tomorrow would be a busy day.
