Now that the duel is done, Asporyx and his friends can finally return to the Citadel. And in many ways, Asp's time at Prismarc has restarted or just resumed now that he's not worried about getting jumped or challenged. Granted, he does still have worries and things to do, so a drake's work is never done. Like getting down to just what the dynamic is between his consort, Enoldria, and Kastrimri. And testing one potential answer to his pollen problem, not that it's Asp's favorite given it wouldn't be his responsibility.

===================

As always, search for '-=' for the steamier scenes! And thanks for sticking through this far! And feel free to leave comments about other species you'd want to see included; in a few chapters, Asp needs to recruit more population for his isle and, well, it's sort of a creativity trap to give myself too much freedom, apparently. Most kinks are on the lighter side of their flavors, really.

Asporyx woke up properly after dozing off a... storm of information his Isle Partner, Elrenlani, had told him. The nearly-black green drake was using the silvery-blue slightly swollen, egg-filled belly of his blue drame siren as a pillow. Asp nuzzled into her belly a bit more, hearing her purr, as he woke up more fully. He seemed to have slept off the fight from the day before, finally. As for what woke him up...

“Sheesh... is he still asleep? Though he looks cute cuddling your belly like that, Ellie~” His consort, a golden drame-herm named Enoldria, was speaking quietly with Ren.

“I believe it more like meditation. He woke up a bit earlier and I gave him a lot to think about at once.” Ren had said; she had a talon on his head before he moved.

“I’m awake now, Dria.” His tail brushed against her neck in greeting, tail fin rubbing against her. “What’s up?”

“Well... I was gonna come talk about Sryl and I officially moving here since we can in... a few days, I think?” Dria said. “But there’s a team of builder dragons who got here when I did and seem to be looking for Ren?”

“I imagine you and Master can handle the details. I will go water the garden... once Master gets his head off our eggs.” She said, through she was rubbing a talon between his horns. Asp rolled his eyes a bit as Dria let out a squeak.

“Oh yeah, and I wanted to ask about that!” Dria huffed; she had a really flirty, up-front side to her... and she liked to get what details she could about her friends’ denlife, it seemed. So far, he and Ren had been... careful to not be so upfront about their dynamic, but Ren seemed comfortable enough with it now. And Asp had long gotten over getting too embarrassed at every little thing. He was still thankful for his dark scales that hid his blush, though. He gave Ren’s swollen belly a kiss before he got up and left the sleeping hut. “So~?”

“Later when we don’t have company, alright?” Asp promised, nuzzling along her side in greeting. He gave her a light kiss as well; the golden drame let out a happy trill before they made their way towards the clearing. A yellow drake bowed to them.

“Good morning; we’re here to fulfill Drame Elrenlani’s order.” The drake said.

“She’s my isle partner and is currently resting. She wanted me to handle it; though, she did not tell me what she ordered.” Asp said.

“A grassland with a small pond. And an elevated tile with a stream?” Asp hmmed and nodded. Dria oohed and nodded.

“Oh, oh! I know what she wants the stream to do, I think! I gotta go do something in the garden, be right back.” Dria said; she bounded off, though Asp furrowed his brow.

“A stream on an elevated tile?”

“We do have techniques to create channels in the earth that we can send water through with Rune Magic. It’s also how we create the baths and water features that have been ordered.” Asp nodded at the explanation and went to work... he figured he had an idea of what Ren had been imagining.

They started with the easier tile, the grassland with pond. From the center tile, they put it off the first section going clockwise; the garden was off the third. Asp set the pond near the edge; he confirmed they could extend it if they wanted into the next tile. Given their overall plan... it seemed better to plan ahead. By the time the grass had been grown in, Dria was back. The next part was... a lot more involved.

The elevated grassland was going between the new area and the garden: a monolith that came up to the Garden’s top edge slope. While they grew grass up top, Dria helped explain to the yellow drakes were all the rooms Ren had ordered would go. They wound up with a two-level cave system with plenty of room for dragons to move around. The Lower level was a large cavern with support pillars that had three small caverns off the side with a ramp from the center tile to the second level. And that level had a room that was big enough for three or four dragons; four would be cozy but doable. A couple of single dragon dens were set up as well. Finally, Ren had put in an order for two rooms that were baths big enough for two dragons a piece. They did use some of the Garden’s underground as well to get more space overall. Dria said she could handle some of the finer details, but given that it was after lunch by the time all the carving was done, all of that would have been way too much work for her on her own.

Dria also helped with the stream; Asp’s curiosity made follow and watch. The stream winded up a sort of meandering trail that actually flowed down drainage paths Dria had just made between the planters in the garden and into the water source at the work-site below. After Ren finished the watering (which, despite how often she did it without complaint, Asp still felt bad about her doing), she explained she thought it would make watering easier and that the top tile was, she hoped, a good place for an orchard. Dria apparently had some ideas as well, but she was keeping quiet about them.

After she told Asp that, Ren did spend most of the morning fishing, and Srylumdar landed at some point. Together, Ren and the orange-red drake-herm roasted the fish; they had an entire feast’s worth of food to share among the four of them and the builder crew. Asp ate with his wings draped over the two drames, feeling quite content now. It was while he was eating he noticed the scar the fight had left on his shoulder. Asp moved his right foreleg a bit and noticed it was still pretty sore, but he couldn’t say he was hurt. Dria nuzzled against his shoulder with a quiet, concerned purr.

“Next up will be your lagoon expansions, you’re overdue for them.” Asp told Ren. The yellow drake who was the leader of the team spoke up.

“We could do that now, if you want?”

“I... kinda have no idea how many points we have.” Asp said, but the drake produced a sheet of paper that had Asporyx and Elrenlani’s names at the top: it seemed like a receipt. However, it also had their total points after the isle expansion; Asp’s eyes went wide at that. Even after the two expansions... they had just under five hundred thousand points.

“Whoa, seems like all that rune magic stuff really paid off!” Dria said. Asp blinked and nodded; she sort of brought up a point: these were all one-off points. And isle expansions were slowly cumulative, so they probably shouldn’t go on a spree.

“Even so, we can hold off.” Ren said quietly. “Asporyx has all he needs to work on his problem with the pollen and we have plenty of space for Enoldria and Srylumdar. And a place to put a field to grow vegetables for Srylumdar.”

“My... partner,” Asp’d almost said ‘siren’; Dria squinted at him. “Should get something she wants as well; you wanted to raise fresh water fish, too, didn’t you?” He turned to the builder team drake. “How much would it be for a couple more freshwater lagoon expansions?”

The drake took out a small book and a writing tablet. “Would you want an island in either?”

“Both!” Dria said; Ren squeaked in protest. Asp curled his tail around hers. He did notice Sryl roll his eyes a bit, though he was more exasperated than actually upset.

“What about you, Sryl? I mean, you will be moving here too.” Asp said. Sryl shrugged.

“As long as I’ve got a den and a cooking area, I’m pretty good. And I promise, no more exploding fireballs. I will need some proper equipment, though.” Sryl said; it had been a while since Asp or Ren had heard those, but it was still fairly reassuring to hear. Asp nodded to the drake-herm, though; he’d have to ask Wryt who made the collar for Dilorphus.

“Your total would actually be cheaper than what we’ve just done.” The yellow drake said. Before Ren could protest, Asp told them to go ahead, though he did tell her to go help sculpt it out. He smiled as he watched her both pout and get excited, diving into the water with a couple of blues.

“Island just got a whole lot bigger.” Sryl said when he looked around. “You gonna move that alchemy table of yours into the new large area?” Asp hmmed and shook his head.

“I mean, the garden’s right there. It’s more convenient where it is.”

“Despite them turning the weather stabilizers off?” Sryl asked; Dria went off, too, heading up the ramp to add those personal details she said she could. While Prismarc was built, and the last details were being put on, the builders had put up magic that blocked out pretty much any external weather. In theory, the Golden Ring around the isle would blunt any storms that rolled through, though.

“Hmm...might talk to Dria about reinforcing the hut, true.” It was hard to not order another elevated tile, but Asp figured it would be better to have a larger bank of points. “But we should probably all go to the bazaar tomorrow... Though... I should go to those history classes; I’ve missed enough of them already.” He frowned.

“They might restart those when all the new participants get here. I know a few of the classes will be; these were meant to be test runs.” Asp raised an eyebrow; Sryl didn’t seem particularly studious. “I wanted to go to the hunting courses, so I asked how I could catch up.” The drake-herm said. “Same with sparring. They’re both starting over with more specific courses since there will be a lot more students.”

“I do still need to work on the pollen, so... I guess that works. I’m running out of things to try.”

“Speaking of... do you know any sound proofing rune magic? ‘Cause I gotta ask that you put them on the dens. Do not need to be hearing you three when I don’t have a partner of my own.” Sryl said. Asp shook his head.

“No; I don’t. I... guess I have time to go look into that.” He suddenly realized he felt weird about being able to go the citadel again. He got up found his across-the-chest bag as well as the borrowed botany books he’d read through; he was fairly certain he and Myra had copied... most of them. And Ren’s writing tablet after he got her permission. Asp gave a wave with his wing to Dria before taking off.

===================

He did consider going to the bazaar, but decided against it. He, instead, headed for the library, circling around the Citadel and landing not far from the library’s entrance. He carefully walked into the large room, focusing on not putting too much weight on his leg. Suddenly, someone lifted his wing and helped him ease his weight off the leg. And gave him a light nuzzle.

“Heya,” Myradona said; she was in her Faistyve illusionary disguise, looking for the world like a vivid violet drame. Without it, her white-violet specialist helix nature would stand out way too much. Asp found himself smiling and nuzzling against her. “How’re you doing?” She spoke softly as they moved out of the entrance.

“Better; how about you? Lytrina not as worried?”

Not on your life. Asp jumped, his wings flaring. He looked around and saw the security officer reading. Or at least she looked like she was at least. Fai just half-giggled, half-sighed.

“Not letting me out of her sight. So no pollen work for today at least.” Fai said. “What did bring you here though?”

“See if I can find a rune magic book that might have a soundproofing formula.” Asp said; Fai raised her eyebrow, albeit with some amusement.

“Oh?”

“Sryl’s idea.”

“A bit of a loss he didn’t want to join.” Fai said. “Though... I do wonder if a certain drake’s toxin wouldn’t be able to help him be the drake he wants to be~?” Asp blinked and tilted his head.

“Well, he did turn down the Meke blossoms... at least for now. He may not be thrilled to be gravid, but he seems to be taking it seriously.” Asp noticed Fai had led them over to the rune magic section and he started to look through the book titles. Fai tilted her head.

“Not... quite what I meant, but yeah, that is an option, isn’t it?” She said. Asp blinked and looked out of the corner of his eye at her while still scanning the shelves. “Single-slit herms like Sryl aren’t uncommon, being fertile when they’d rather be virile and vice-versa. Most of the ones who sought out help with the Violets didn’t want to completely lose the other side of themselves. It is still them after all.” Asp nodded. “No, I was meaning if your pollen-enhanced toxin could... activate it either way is all.” Fai said with a faint blush. Asp thought about it. Any description the analysis formula gave in that regard was ‘enhanced virility and production.’

“Huh... that could be a possibility I guess.” Asp said, finding the book he needed and motioning over to a table. “But... if he’s a drake-herm, there’d be the whole ‘heat risk’ still.” Asp said. Fai hmmed.

“Part of me says that wouldn’t be awful... Ugh, sometimes that curious side of me really takes over my imagination. Makes me feel kinda of bad.” Asp nuzzled her reassuringly; he understood that much given the multiple fantasies that he had since coming here. Most of which involved very eager rutting of his various drame friends during their heats. He’d even had a fantasy about Nyferona, and he really hadn’t had that much contact with her. It was usually a sign he was too pent-up from pollen, though. “‘Heat risk’ would be rough for him, I bet.”

He nodded while he copied out the formula he needed with Ren’s writing tablet. He did frown a bit, seeing it needed to be applied around the door; it activated with the ambient magic it picked up from whoever entered the room. “What’s up?” Fai asked, her tail wrapping around his.

“Well... this has some drawbacks; it even mentions them. While it does not allow sound out, it does allow sound in. But what if someone has a question while...” Asp looked at her meaningfully. She thought for a moment before she nodded. “Hmm... I need to experiment a bit, I think.”

“I think Wryt and Kastri are in one of the private labs. I saw Nyfe looking rather bored outside one of them, anyways.” Fai said. Asp gave her a light kiss on the side of her muzzle, which made her tail squeeze against his. Asp heard Lytrina growl faintly and quickly pulled his tail from Fai’s.

“So, what were you looking at here?”

“Oh, well, was looking at records of different helixi.” She hmmed, leaning lightly against him. “And... maybe if I could do something about that scar...” She said with a sigh.

“What, does it look that bad?” Asp huffed; he kept his tone oddly playful for him.

“No! But... well, I did finish your healing. It feels like I should’ve been better.” Fai said softly and he nosed against her lightly.

“I’m fine with it, Fai. And you did amazing; it really doesn’t hurt at all. I am trying to be careful about my weight on it, though. Plus, well, I’d rather not forget it. I mean, despite the circumstances, I did radically change someone’s life. I shouldn’t get away without something to mark me.”

“... You don’t regret it, do you?”

“Only if this whole thing backfires and he winds up in a worse mental state or with a worse attitude.” Asp said. He had certainly realized transforming a drake into a drake-herm and controlling who he could stud for could... really mess with said newly minted drake-herm’s head. And Asp bet getting hate-bred in public, something he hadn’t planned or even thought of, would not help. That had entirely been on Marinolok, the drake who was Dilorphus’s warden. Granted, Asp had suggested Marinolok as the warden; he figured another blue (or in Marinolok’s case, blue-white helix), especially one that was a diving enthusiast, would want an assistant. And he imagined mating would be a possibility, of course.

“He’s being monitored, of course. From what I’ve heard, he’s... not great, but he’s also not near as bad as they expected. They think the shock of losing so handily and being transformed has helped him... block the other parts. Or not even care, honestly.” That surprised Asp, but he wasn’t about to probe further. “So, we going up to experiment?”

“I wouldn’t want to distract you too much longer.” Asp said in surprise.

“Well, honestly it was more out of boredom; I did want to go back to your isle, but I’m kinda on Citadel arrest for a phase.”

And breaking it will be a full cycle! Asp was not about to argue with Fai’s bodyguard/nanny. No matter the reason; not letting me know she was staying at an isle overnight was a serious problem!

“I get it, I get it.” Asp said quietly; he wasn’t... entirely sure how Lytrina was listening in, but she obviously was. He blinked, though, as he realized it related to what he wanted to experiment with. “How is she listening in?”

“Linked senses, though that’s only when you’re around.” Fai said with a faint blush. “She’s not taking chances about you trying something.” Normally, Asp would be offended, but given Lytrina was basically Fai’s second mother and Fai’s real identity as the Spectral Matriarch-to-be, he beat down the indignant part of him. Fai looked at him sympathetically. He also filed away the answer to his question.

“That’s... unwarranted, but fair.” Asp said, more for Lytrina’s benefit. “If you do live on my isle... she’s not coming with, right?” He motioned to her they should head out, though he did return the sound-magic book to the shelf after he copied down a few more runes.

Oh I absolutely will! And she- Asp was suddenly blocked from Lytrina’s telepathy.

“I will put my claw down on that, don’t worry. Besides, she’s going to have to let me grow up at some point.” Fai sighed. Asp didn’t dare risk looking back at Lytrina while Fai walked with him to the librarian desk to return the herb books he had checked out. There wasn’t an official limit on renewals... yet, but Bertuzza had mentioned that there was a wait list for a couple of them even with so few dragons and kyn on the isles. Lytrina did follow at a distance; Fai took the walk to get Asp to test his leg. She slowly eased her support off of him before nodding. “Alright, leg looks good. I mean, don’t walk with weight on it for too long, still, but I doubt that’s a problem around here.”

“Thanks, Fai. Even if it was just being there after.” Fai did look at him warily. “What?”

“How much do you remember about after?”

“I mean... most of it? Why?” Fai squeaked.

“I really want to apologize about my mother!” Asp furrowed his brow.

“Why?”

“You didn’t find her to be... a lot?”

“Dria’s all but burned out that capability... at least for the most part. I mean, I do still prefer mating to be private, at least.” Asp said.

“True, she was being oddly subdued... Dria’s actually pretty tame compared to her, I think.” Asp would have to take Fai’s word on that. They spotted Nyfe and nodded in greeting. She looked half-asleep but waved nonetheless.

“Not sparring?”

“They don’t let gravid drames spar. And I ran out of magic to practice with.” She grumbled. Asp frowned: that shouldn’t be a problem, gravid drames sparring. Particularly this early, but even late in gravidity, most drames should be fine. Unlike Ren, Nyfe wasn’t even showing yet.

“It’s an equality thing and just... general health policy. A lot of Kyn and Wild could lose their unborn if they get hit wrong while sparring.” Fai said. “I mean, drames can too, but it’s pretty difficult. I will be watching Elrenlani, though.” Asp appreciated that; he wasn’t sure if Ren would.

“Yeah; trying to find other hobbies, but I just get too antsy. I’ve already hit my hunting quota for the cycle, too.” Nyfe grumbled. “If you ever want any jerky, let us know, by the way.”

“Will do. I mean, at some point Ren won’t be able to fish, I guess.” Asp thought about it. “Hmm... maybe we should start making fish jerky as well?”

“I wouldn’t count on it. I hesitate to know what her appetite’s gonna be like. As in... we should probably find out if we can somehow go fishing outside the ring.” Fai said. “And get fields up and running.”

“We did just do... a lot of isle expanding. I think Ren’s thinking fields and she definitely considered an orchard; I’ll ask tomorrow while we’re going around the bazaar. How’s your isle coming along, Nyfe?”

“Still debating; Wryt’s left it... mostly to me, honestly. I’m trying to figure out the best way to go. And we have so many points to work with...” She groaned. Given Wryt had been part of... a lot of Asp’s point accumulations, he nodded.

“Yeah, it’s... hard to be restrained. But I’m trying to keep a good bank of points. Plus, there’s that mandatory class about Isle Building that might make us rethink our plans.” Asp said; it was next week, not long after Dria and Sryl planned on joining him and Ren. Given they were giving up being Isle managers, they wouldn’t be required, but he and Ren were. Dria said she wanted to come as well. Nyfe nodded.

“Anyways, I’m guessing you’re here for a reason? They’re both still experimenting, but Wryt’s hit some kind of wall and Kastri’s finding it hard to focus. Bylinvu’s in there as well.” Nyfe blinked after a moment. “Uh... maybe it wouldn’t be a good idea for you to go in there, Patrician Asp.”

“I can go get Wryt, Asp.” Fai said, giving him a light lick. Asp nodded; if Kastri was in season, it would certainly not be a good idea for him to go in. He was already fantasizing of how to put the soundproofing rune to the test. She slipped into the lab and Wryt poked his head out after a moment.

“Did you need help Asporyx?” Wryt asked.

“More just wanting to know if you would help me test an idea I had. I can handle the runework for this, but I wanted someone experienced to be part of the test in case it doesn’t work.”

“Sure; I am mostly staring at a slate of clay right now. Kastri and I are both trying to figure out how to incorporate logic into rune formula.” Asp nodded. “At least without making a whole bunch of new runes. We managed to make that work, but those formulas got as complicated as the old ones.” Asp nodded. Fai slipped back out, looking faintly amused... and something else seemed to be on her muzzle, though Asp wasn’t sure what it was. He blinked, though. He caught the faintest hints of Kastri’s season and shook himself.

“Any chance you’ve got any Drameshield on you, Asp?” Kastri called from in the room. “Hell, I’d take Shiverbolt or even Shaderose right now.”

“Sorry Kastri; I could go get some?”

“No... I’m running low on points.” Asp blinked: she should have a large number of points given how much he had; she had also been involved with a couple of his ideas.

“She has gotten a lot of books. Just bring by whatever you want to test.” Asp nodded in thanks to Wryt and went to the general use lab with Fai. A few other dragons were working in there; Asp dug through the pile of scrap wood from wood workers and found pieces he was pretty sure were big enough to test. He did have a flash of inspiration, though... and found some scrap paper. Fai just settled in to watch, an odd smile still on her muzzle.

“You alright, Fai?” She squeaked.

“Yeah, yeah, d-don’t worry about it, Asp.” She said; he just just gave her a worried look and she rolled her eyes and gave him a light lick on the nose before motioning for him to get to work.

Asp turned his attention to his rune experiment, then: he lucked out and found a large round cut of wood. While it wouldn’t last as long as Ren’s stone tablet, Asp copied the scripting formula onto it, though he added a few touches he thought of: he essentially tried to add an ink component to the burn-in effect of the rune’s resulting writing. He had at least thought to bring some pre-mixed catalyst with him, though his supply was running low. He let out a happy growl when the ‘ink’ idea worked and went about trying out his formula configurations. He connected a regular sound rune to a new one and put the new one on a different board connected to another sound rune. He also, on a slim hunch, put part of the soundproofing formula on a different board connected to the new rune. He left out the part he was pretty sure expanded it to the room. He did test how delicate the new ‘ink’ was, as well, but it seemed to hold up with the pre-mixed catalyst. His scribing method let him work on smaller pieces of wood; he could almost imagine Wryt’s annoyed look when he saw it.

He told Fai to take one of the sound-and-new rune (which really was just ‘Voice’ in Asp’s talon-writing) to Wryt and telepathically let him know when she’d calmed him down about the inscribed formula. Asp passed the short wait by cleaning up.

Alright, I’ve calmed him down. Though, what about Professor Bylinvu? He heard Fai asked; he could hear the amusement... and pride? In her voice.

Hmm... Yeah, I guess she could come over. It wasn’t much longer before the yellow-green helix had joined him. Asp held his wing tip to his muzzle before focusing magic power into the sound-and-voice rune and then motioned for her.

“Alright, so what world altering thing are you trying now?” She asked, rather wearily. Asp tilted his head, about to deny it, but... well... he couldn’t. Depending on the limits of this idea... and how well others could adapt it, it would probably be pretty world altering.

“I’m attempting to transmit my voice-” Anything, Fai?

Nothing new on our end other than the piece of wood lighting up.

Asp switched his focus over to the other formula. “-using magic; ideally bypassing the-” There was a stupidly loud roar, both of wonder and agitation. “-problem with sound proofing. And it sounds like the second one worked.”

Uh, Wryt and Kastri are both about to run me over, love-ASP! I MEANT ASP! Well, that’s a whole other level of embarrassment that hit him. He’d gotten used to Ren’s ‘Master’ and Dria’s ‘stud’, but ‘love’ was... blatant. Though it did make Asp really happy and almost giddy to hear.

I mean, it sounds like it was a success, so no need to hold Wryt back. I’ll meet you guys outside, though, at a landing zone so Kastri can join us. Bylinvu was just... looking tired, really.

“Dammit, we were just realizing that this method could store all sorts of info.” Bylinvu said while Asp swept the test boards into his bag with the writing boards. “And that’s not even to mention the cost reduction of... whatever you did for the actual carving.”

“I’ll explain it outside; me being around Kastri in an enclosed space is not a good idea right now. And I doubt she wants to be left out.” He left the general lab, noting the three dragons at one of the landing areas. Once he and Bylinvu joined them, Asp explained about the inscribing method and then about the soundproofing formula. Asp banked on the part of the formula he inscribed was an “absorption” method and the “sound” was stored in the room/space defining portion of it. As to Kastri’s question about how he guessed which part was which... Asp really didn’t have an answer. It was just an intuition about what ‘felt’ right: after a certain point, the soundproofing formula started repeating a lot of glyphs that Asp could only guess was defining what the space was. It was entirely possible the ‘recording’ part of the formula was even shorter than what he’d used.

“I need a more flexible mind, don’t I?” Wryt grumbled. Bylinvu seemed to be nodding in agreement. Asp shrugged, though, even as Fai sidled up to him. Kastri just digested; he could see her eyes almost twitching, as if she was looking a bunch of different things.

“... Damn this season... Asp, help me out! I need to work on some stuff and I really can’t think clearly for too long.” She whined; Fai squeaked and Asp coughed; he just managed to not expose himself at the fantasy that popped up in his mind: Kastri, Dria, and Myra all involved this time. “I don’t care how many eggs-” Asp used his wing to bonk her on the nose.

“I’m already worried Ren’s not going to be able to move, Kastri. I really don’t want to worry about another drame, too.” Asp told the indigo drame.

“Ugh... then convince Dria! Please~! I don’t even care if you’re there to rut her silly too...” Fai squeaked again beside him; he could feel her shifting on her talons. He couldn’t speak to telepathically unless she started it; she closed the link each time, so he could only guess at what she was imagining. He was likely imagining the same thing.

“I’ll... run it by her, I guess.” Asp said with a sigh. Kastri nodded with a purr at the thought. “But you look like you need some rest anyways. Go stop by Li’red’s store and tell him-” Kastri shook her head.

“Can’t; I’d have to be officially part of your isle, which we can’t do yet anyways.” Kastri said with a sigh. “It’s fine! Maybe a little strong, but nothing I’ve not dealt with before. Just frustrating timing given the strides a certain drake has been helping make~” Kastri purred quietly, giving him eyes that clearly communicated... something. Enough of her lust, at least, to make his length slip free and he took a step back.

“Sister, if you press any more, Asporyx might not work with you. Or help you when he does get his own problems under control.” Wryt warned; Kastri’s eyes went wide and she blushed. Asp seriously doubted either of those things, but it seemed best to let her think it. She looked properly chagrined, though. Asp took a deep breath and held it as he gave her nose a bump with his own and a light nuzzle; it was hard to fight the instinct to take a bit of her scent. That was ingrained in most dragons upon nuzzling, really.

“Oh, yeah, about that! I was wondering if you’d looked into any poisons? I’m probably not near as well versed as you or Fai in those, but it seems to me like there would be something out there that’s at least weaker than Shaderose’s potential side-effect of losing fertility altogether.” Kastri said. Asp hmmed; he hadn’t considered going down that particular path, particularly because of Shaderose’s potential side-effect: his toxin made it a guarantee. And while he didn’t want to be studding double-clutches, he also did not want to risk his friends’ fertility altogether.

“We did... briefly talk about it, but were hesitant to continue on that path.” Fai said. He did... vaguely remember a conversation like that, but he’d been so focused she’d done most of the talking. “It might have to be the answer, though I would suggest finding a way to grow them in isolation. Or consult with Li’red to see about seeds to combine before growing to lessen their effect. Might want to look into pheromone blockers, too... those could be part of the equation after-all.”

“I’ll do that tomorrow, then. It’s getting late after all.” The sun was starting to set. “Of course, you’re all free to join us shopping tomorrow.” Asp said. Nyfe and Kastri shook their heads.

“I really gotta work on a plan to expand the isle. Any advice on how to attract those interested in Alchemy, though? We can’t keep running to bother you whenever we need something.” Nyfe asked. Asp hmmed.

“Just a good experimentation space, table, and gardens, I’d imagine. I do know there’s alchemy involving minerals and acids as well, but that seems harder to plan for, at least geographically.” Asp said. “Might want to set up isolated gardens, too... like Fai pointed out, there can be some things that can be risky to grow.” Nyfe nodded. At some point, without Asp noticing, Bylinvu had slipped away. Nyfe and Wryt left; Wryt nuzzled his sister goodnight before he left, too.

“As for me... no points... and being around you and Dria would be way too much temptation. I’d probably wind up annoying both of you too much.” Kastri said with a sigh.

“I promise I’ll talk to her about it.” Asp told the indigo drame. He did hear Fai mutter something, but he let it go until Kastri was out of earshot. It left him alone with Fai... well, not totally alone. He guessed Lytrina was out of eyeline somewhere nearby. “So what were you saying?”

“I knew you’d heard something...” She pouted. “But I was thinking this would be a good chance to learn about Drameshield’s effects on herms. Or at least with you... pretty sure Dria’s near her season as well.”

Drameshield was one of the new herbs that came out of his experimentation with the Golden Leaves pollen. It combined the effects of two herbs, Shiverbolt and Dramesbane to ease a drame’s physical symptoms of heat, and, in theory, acted as a contraceptive at the same time, at least according to the analysis formula. They hadn’t exactly had the chance to test that out... and there was always the possibility that Asp’s pollen-enhanced biology could overpower it. Or to verify if there would be any side-effects. It’s first iteration did, also, make a drake temporarily impotent, Shiverbolt and a root called Restfuldrake were from the same plant after all. But Dria had insisted on that part being canceled out; it hadn’t been that hard to do. There were plenty of herbs that helped with a drake’s inability to perform after all. Unfortunately, Asp’s toxin seemed to weaken the Drameshield in his own system even without the pollen; with the pollen, it was effectively neutralized. It was still his best route at finding a way to make his pollen problem... manageable, though, short of finding a herb that completely stopped a drame from going into heat.

“I’d really rather not test it with someone I know and care for. Though, following that logic, testing it in general would be impossible.” Asp sighed. “I mean, maybe Dilorphus...”

“Yeah, that won’t happen for at least four-to-five cycles.” Asp winced at Fai’s news. She shrugged a bit. “Plus, I doubt he’d take anything willingly.”

“So... I could talk to Dria about it, I guess. I’m certainly not going to push her, though. She has had some side-effects from mating with me as is.” It was hard to miss how much more productive her drake side had become; they’d not tested the potency of her as a stud, but her volume had certainly increased.

“I mean, that would be another thing to test, then. She needs to know the extent of that... and while we could get her a check-up, she might want to find out without that.” Fai said; Asp saw her blushing and smiled. He kissed her lightly, but held it for a few moments. It was certainly the most proper kiss they’d had so far. “What was that for?”

“Well, you were too cute to resist... and I wanted to respond to what you let slip earlier. I mean-”

“Talk about it in a week, you two!” Lytrina called out. Fai groaned and actually growled back at her bodyguard, which only made Asp chuckle a bit. “Don’t you growl at me. You had nearly two full cycles of living together. You can go a phase longer without getting that freedom back, unless you want to make it two phases or a full cycle?” Fai grumbled and looked ready to defy the violet drame.

“Yes, Professor; we can go a phase.” Asp called back.

“It might as well be two; I go into heat next phase after all...” Fai huffed. Asp growled in frustration and she squeaked in apology. “I mean, I can go on Drameshield... but it does not help with the libido heat brings, just the more physical symptoms. And now that you know my secret, I can’t exactly guarantee I won’t be as... restrained as when I was on the isle. At least, then, I had an excuse to give myself.”

“And what, my result with Ren-” Asp started, but Fai’s violet scales almost turned crimson. “O-oh.”

“I mean, it’s just more chances for us to make something... ugh... I don’t know how to say it; any of our hatchlings would be amazing...” She whined. “And interesting...” She huffed. “P-plus, if we do-”

“Drake Asporyx, please go back to the isle for now...” Lytrina sighed. “We’ll be here until moon-rise, at least, if you don’t.” Asp nodded, getting in one last proper kiss with an exasperated, mortified Fai before he took off.

===================

Asp landed on his isle not long before the sun had fully set. He almost hadn’t recognized it from the air with how much it’d grown. The two new lagoon tiles he’d insisted on surrounded the new grassland (likely soon to be fields) tile’s Citadel-side. He landed on the new grassland tile and admired the carved out cliffside in front of him: the lower space had numerous support columns, likely strengthened and reinforced with the stone that had been carved away. On a level above that were the living quarters Ren had ordered, though there were balcony like landing areas for the dragons to land on. As he moved towards the original starting isle, a ramp came into view that led up the second level pretty gradually. He was a bit surprised to not see Ren or Dria, though...

“Up here, Asp~” Dria called out through a window she’d carved into one of the rooms. He made his way up the ramp, turning towards the room Dria had called him from: it turned out to be the biggest one. While there wasn’t a door, there was some privacy achieved by making a short elongated s-curve before getting into the room properly. The room itself was pretty spartan: hidden against the entrance wall was a large raised portion that dipped towards the center that... admittedly took up most of the room. “Hmm... might need to make windows bigger... I can always check in the morning. I do think we’ll need light runes, though...”

“Yes, I imagine so. Or at least some sort of light source.” Ren said; the blue drame was testing out the platform. “And these definitely need some nesting material... even if I do have the den area in the lagoon... I imagine there are some nights Master will tire me out too much for me to go back.”

“Okay, okay, seriously!” Dria growled, rounding on them both as Asp nuzzled along Rin’s fin. “What’s up with the Master bit?” Asp blushed.

“Well... we didn’t get off on the greatest wing... so we’re still trying to sort out if we’re even consort-material for each other.” Asp said with a sigh; he did motion for Ren to get up; green dragons could at least grow moss on stone without some effort with their flame. It did require some weird focusing of the decomposition breath to make soil, so he had to focus a bit.

“And... well... I discovered that, while I am more attracted to drames... I do quite like dominated by a drake.” Ren said quietly. Dria looked at her suspiciously, almost angrily. “A drake I can trust to not just... be rid of me when he is done putting eggs in me.” Dria still looked suspicious, but not quite as angry.

“So... are you his pet or something?” Dria asked. Asp shook his head, testing the moss bed after it was finished with a talon.

“That sounds too... well, like I’d get rid of her. I kinda came up with ‘siren’ in the heat of things and it’s stuck.” He said while Ren settled into the bed with an approving purr.

“It felt right.” Ren said with a shrug. “It still gives me some agency and describes how I can tempt him.” Ren blushed; her tail sneaked beneath Asp and rubbed against his exposed length and he growled slightly in his annoyance. “But I am still at his mercy.”

“That... makes sense but still seems really complicated.” Dria said with a sigh. “And... I would love to stick around to help with that, really, but I’m getting close...” She whimpered. Asp shook his head, herding the drame-herm to the bed as well.

“Don’t care, it can wait... though I will probably need some help tomorrow night at least. But... kinda wanted to talk to you anyways, so answer for an answer: why don’t you want Kastri as a consort properly? And related, you up for helping her out with her heat?” Asp stared the drame down. Dria seemed to think for a moment before wincing.

“Ooh, yeah, it is that time for her, huh? I’m... ugh.” Dria gave up; she knew she couldn’t get away. “I told you how I think of myself as a drame with a bit extra? I meant it...” She settled down; Asp joined them, though he was careful to keep his lower half away from Dria. Kastri’s suggestion about pheromones was on his mind and didn’t want to tempt her. “And, well, I am fine with either gender as a partner for play... for more, I’d much rather have a drake who I can share a drame with occasionally.” She sighed. “That’s all I need.” Asp nuzzled against her; Ren was snuggled up so that her cool form pressed against his lower belly. “As for helping with her heat... If Kastri didn’t want me as a consort, I would consider it. But it feels cruel otherwise.”

“Well... judging by how she was trying to get under me, I’d suggest talking with her, though as a fair warning, her season is strong right now. And she doesn’t have herbs to calm it.”

“Too many points on books?” Dria guessed. Asp nodded. “Silly drame.” The golden drame-herm sighed.

“What about your own season, Enoldria?” Ren asked; Asp brought fore-limb down to trail along her belly.

“It should be soon, but not before we can officially move in. And besides, someone’s being way too careful after knocking his partner up with a ton of eggs.” Dria said, though her exasperated tone was at odds with the nuzzle she did to get closer to both of them. She hesitantly reached towards Ren’s belly, and when Ren nodded, joined Asp in rubbing against the slight swell.

“Well, I am going to be quite large... it is an understandable worry is it not?”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. I would probably freak out if I wound up with two-clutches worth of eggs in me.” Dria said with a sigh. “And, weirdly, Sryl didn’t want to help last time. Guess not being able to stud is a sore subject.”

“Probably; Fai did think I might be able to help with that.” Asp said. All four of them, Myradona-disguised as Faistyve included, agreed it was just easier to refer to her as Fai for now. “She did also mention testing out how effective Drameshield might be, particularly against my... potency.”

“With me?” Asp couldn’t miss the hopefulness in Dria’s tone. He nodded. “Yeah, that sounds like her...But I’m definitely up for it~” Dria purred.

“Talk with Kastri first, alright? She seemed desperate to talk, regardless of heat.” Asp said with a nuzzle. She sighed and nodded. Asp left the two of them for a few moments: he figured it’d be best to start letting that Deerflame tea cold steep overnight. He figured he’d try to do the same with some Drameshield; he was sure now that Dria had the idea in her head, she’d probably want to try it out. Asp... wasn’t sure how he felt: that stud-happy side of him wanted to try and overwhelm the herb completely while his more... normal self would be quite happy if he wasn’t fully stopped. Asp groaned inwardly: even his normal self was adjusting to, and liking, the idea of having a harem of drames.

===================

“Looks like our parents did not need to contribute.” Ren was fighting back a laugh as they left the Registrar’s Office. Asp was already tired and they hadn’t even started shopping yet. A little less than, well, both expansions had already been recouped in points: Drameshield had finished being verified as something new and it’s usefulness had been graded. And both his rune-magic experiments yesterday had gotten him the bulk of it: the scribing and voice transmission.

“I still feel like they’re being way too generous...” Asp groaned. “I know I shouldn’t be complaining about points, but I really don’t feel like I’m doing anything to earn them. I just have the right idea at the right time or meet the right people.”

“I’m actually surprised the sound transmission one didn’t get you more. That one could be huge.” Fai said; she’d joined them for breakfast at the food court. Asp could only guess Lytrina was keeping an eye on her from somewhere. Dria had slipped away to talk to Kastri as she’d promised. Fai promised to let the golden drame know where they were if she finished quickly.

“Wryt said something about a lot of testing still needing to be done on it.” Nyfe said; she’d been checking their own total before planning on expansion. “So it’s probably just the formula and the concept that it works.” Asp nodded.

“True, we didn’t test long distances...” Fai said; Asp hadn’t even really thought of that as a factor. “Plus, you do have to create a new rune each time. But I guess that much for the first step is alright.”

“Well, I’m gonna head off; I wanted to go to the library to get some books on planning.” The three of them nodded to Nyfe as she flew up to the labs and library level of the citadel. This time, Asp mostly followed Fai and Ren around; they weren’t pressed for time or avoiding anyone this time, so he was in no real hurry. Fai wanted to check out the furnishing stores, it seemed; Asp did have to admit their isle was bare beyond the land sculpting and crude furniture that Asp had fashioned with his claws. So there were some interesting things here and there. They didn’t really have a designated ‘hangout’ area, though, anymore, so he held off on that for now.

Ren, though, found the nesting material store. The subject had briefly been touched on in the mandatory class during the first cycle, but they’d mentioned it’d be a lot more about instinct for each individual drame. Even so, she did order a few bundles to be delivered to their isle. She kept it at medium-grade, though. Low grade was essentially branches and leaves: they had plenty of those on the isle. When they’d finished with that, they met up with Sryl. He’d gone to a morning class, mostly to get the points to save up for cookware.

“They are gonna restart the history courses as well; they figured incoming participants should be encouraged to learn of the other kyndoms as well.” Asp nodded in... slight relief. Fai gave him a light nuzzle of encouragement as well.

“I’ll sit in on those classes, too.” Fai said. Kinda have to, considering. She said to Asp’s mind. He blinked and then bumped his nose against her with a light nip. “What’s that for?”

“Nothing, nothing.” Asp said while she laughed; she knew exactly what it was for. Asp, consciously, was treating the Matriarch-to-be’s interest... relatively lightly, he knew. But if they did want to be mates in time, and Asp really could not imagine not wanting to be mates... he’d become a Patriarch. He knew that he had... well, a fair amount of time to get used to that idea, but right now the thought was overwhelming to consider. And her saying she had to sit in on those classes only brought that thought to the forefront of his mind.

“What kind of crops did you want to get, Srylumdar?” Ren asked, refocusing the group.

“Hmm... depends on everyone’s tastes and what kind of fields we’ve got to work with.” Sryl motioned to the farmer’s surplus store.

“I don’t know too much about agriculture, admittedly, but I’d say...1 huge field, 2 larger ones, and 3 medium ones?” Asp said.

“And we will likely double that... or, rather, we will.” Ren said.

“Hmm... should probably get some sort of grain for the huge fields, then. The large ones can be everyone’s favorites and the 3 medium ones... maybe a couple of those can be spice fields... Though I did want to ask about planter boxes for those some of those.” Asp raised an eyebrow. “I’ve been studying up; I guessed your knowledge was limited to trees and herbs. Who knows? Maybe I’ll find a drame who doesn’t care about me not being able to stud but likes to eat.” He half-joked. Fai just glanced at Asp who shook his head; he saw no reason to get Sryl’s hopes up when he had no idea if he could help the drake-herm out. Asp was surprised when Ren bumped her nose against Sryl’s with a huff, though. “Yes, yes, I remember, Elrenlani, no self-put downs about that.”

“And then there’s the orchard to think about...” Asp said. “Might as well try to make that as bountiful as we can... so stuff like berries to consider, too.”

“Looking to make a farm?” An Sylphkyn asked from behind the counter. Sylphkyn were like Gnomekyn; bipedal, furless beings with hair on the top of their heads. Unlike the Gnomekyn Asp had already met, this one was obviously female: her voice was higher, she was slightly shorter (she just barely came up to the top of Asp’s shoulder), and she had a sizable weight on her chest. Asp had heard a number of non-dragon like species had some form of this weight and that milk came out of them. It was... a little intriguing, to be honest, but sounded weird nonetheless. Granted, no less so than a drame-herm like Dria or a toxinist like himself. This Sylphkyn’s hair was quite long and a pale brown and her skin seemed quite light; the gnomekin’s had been considerably darker.

“Yes, ma’am.” Sryl spoke up; he let Sryl handle this for the most part. He only spoke up to mention his favorite vegetables (broccoli, corn, cabbage, and brussel sprouts). While Sryl worked on that order, Asp looked over the fruit tree saplings catalog and the berry bushes.

Most of the plants, to Asp’s surprise and chagrin, seemed to be made with a modified version of his quick-grown trees he’d made years ago. But these were advertising intense flavor, though their turn around wasn’t as fast. Asp’s trees had been done growing to maturity within a phase; these took a full cycle. Asp was glad: his tasted awful and had an extremely off texture. If his kyndom’s scientists had managed to find the sweet spot, he was glad to have helped. Also, how did Asp know they were based on his? There were all ‘Hermit Alchemist’ strains. Fai looked over his shoulder and laughed. He just sighed and put in the order: it was... well, not all that cheap, but way less than Asp would’ve thought. After that, they went to the Wildlife store. This one was... really a bit odd; it was run by Wolfkyn (not to be confused with Wild Wolves; Wolfkyn looked like if Wild Wolves and a Gnomekyn had a child... somehow). And the store was mostly of books, but apparently it was almost like choosing your own menu. All the animals had some odd traits (that it seemed some Violet could take credit for) that amounted to their population becoming a problem if left unattended for too long. Granted, Isle owners would still be responsible for ensuring they didn’t over hunt their own isle, too.

“So... how much fish would we need to stock 3 lagoons?” Asp asked.

“Asporyx, we really do not need to worry about it.” Ren argued; it was not an argument she was destined to win. Even Fai denied it.

“You need all the food sources you can get, Ren. Both for the new participants and you yourself.” She told the blue drame. Ren just huffed, though the Wolfkyn seemed to understand. Luckily, there were bundles that they could get, whether meant to be as food or ornamental. Asp went ahead and ordered three bundles of the medium sized group. Ren nuzzled him in thanks, though, and seemed quite happy.

From there, they went to the book store, where he got some got some rune magic reference and botany books. Ren got some fish ones and some novels. Fai held off for now, though she was eyeing some medical texts. By the time they got to all the stops they wanted to (Li’red’s store to consult about Kastri’s idea and order those seeds and get rune-magic catalysts, a woodworker’s place to get a few barrels (Asp was getting real tired of brewing his tea every day) and to look at planter designs, and Asp stopped by the stonemasons to order, essentially, a gift set of sizable stone carving blocks for Dria), it was lunch time. And they met back up with Dria, who just looked... contemplative.

“Asp, do you mind if I talk to Sryl, Fai, and Ren alone for a moment?” He just kissed her nose before getting everyone’s food order and waiting by the pick-up window instead of returning to the seats. He saw Dria get up and head off for a bit, though, by the time the food was ready, she was sliding beneath his wing to offer support to help carry the packages. “Not curious?”

“Oh, I am, but I also figured if it involves me, I’ll find out sooner or later.” Asp said. “I did assume it’s related to Kastri, though.” She nodded and leaned against him.

“Yeah, just wanted some... perspective is all.” She smiled at both the drames waiting on them and he started doling out food: he and Fai were both insistent that Ren get a couple of meals... though Asp could tell the drame was getting tired of their over-protectiveness already and made a mental note to tone it down. Fai and Ren mentioned they wanted to look around some more while Sryl wanted to head up to the library to learn more about agriculture. It’d give him and Dria some time to do some soundproofing at least.

-===================-

Asp and Dria landed in the normal clearing, Asp stretching out like a cat, much to Dria’s purring admiration. He rolled his eyes a bit but rubbed her nose with his. “Should we start on that soundproofing? Or lighting?”

“Actually... kinda thought we might do something else first~” Dria purred. “I mean, I was hoping to break our nest in tonight with Ren, but... after talking with Kastri for so long, I am kinda worked up.” Dria was blushing, heading up the ramp with her tail raised to show off just how worked up she was: her slit was swollen and Asp could see half her length out between her hinds. His own shot out of it’s hiding place and he shook himself while she laughed. “Figured you were hitting your limit, stud~ So let’s put Drameshield to the test~” She cooed out.

“You sure?” Asp was already following after her, and though he sneaked a lick along both her length and her swollen folds that made her moan, he walked beside her. Dria nodded, though.

“If it works against you, all the better. If it’s only partially effective, I still wouldn’t mind. I mean, breeding is kinda part of why we’re here. I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t open to it, particularly since I’ve found my stud~” She purred. “Though... if it’s not effective at all, I might have a little regret. It’s still unreal you put nine eggs into Ellie~ She’s so small it’s gonna be so cute and funny... as long as it’s not stressful for her. Besides, it’d be a good thing to test before Myra comes... dunno when she’s planning on getting gravid, but if you don’t figure out the pollen thing by then... back up plan!”

“H-hey, I don’t need to imagine her right now, darling.” That had been his answer to her calling him ‘stud’ all the time. Actually, he’d tried “love” like Fai had let slip yesterday, but that had made Dria all self-conscious and bashful... which had been cute, but it did sorta ruin her mood for some reason. He was about to head into the large nest room, but she just hooked a wing around his neck base and tugged him towards the baths instead. Honestly, the pet-names felt weird on his tongue, though.

“Like I said, we’ll break that in with Ren~” She purred. “But the baths could still use it~” She disappeared into one of them. He chuckled and followed after her, though admittedly, he had been curious. He hadn’t had the chance just yet to check them out.

Despite being called ‘two-dragon baths’ the room was roughly the size of the ‘three-dragon den’. The tub was what was big enough for two dragons to relax quite a bit. Dria had put windows in here as well, quite a few of them, which was probably for the best giving the water was lightly steaming: it was welling up from the corner and filling the pool to the raised edge before draining away, a constant stream of clean water. Asp... well, tried to imagine the rune work involved in cleaning the water, breaking down grime, heating it... but something had really distracted him.

“Kas-Kastri?” Asp said; the Indigo drame was already perched on the edge of the tub with her tail raised, showing off a dripping, heat swollen dragon sex that turned his throbbing length into an aching one. Dria was watching his reaction, blushing lightly, but she nodded.

“I mean, I do often cum as a drake when you’re on top of me... only makes sense to not let it go to waste when our toy’s in heat~” Dria purred. Asp raised an eyebrow at that and Dria only blushed harder. “T-Talk after, right now... my pollen-sick stud needs his relief~” The golden drame practically dove under him, smoothly wrapping her muzzle around his exposed flesh before he could say anything. He let out a groan, feeling his consort’s warm, wet mouth around him, her tongue exploring the spines and ridges that she’d gotten quite used to the past couple of cycles. He raised a talon and put it on her rear, pushing down a little as he braced himself; surprised made a shot of his pre paint his consort’s tongue as he tensed. That taste only made her start to suckle on him, hungrily. His hips started to grind against her muzzle even as he brought his head down, sniffing a bit at Kastri’s scent, who still hadn’t made a sound but was fidgeting and her breathing was growing heavier in anticipation, Asp had to guess.

His tongue slipped out, lapping at the fidgeting drame while his talon slid along Dria’s rear to tease his claws, carefully, against her slit. The golden drame trilled around his length, her hips bucking and she pressed harder, swallowing around his length and getting rewarded with a rougher grind of his hips and helping of his pre. Asp slid his tongue into Kastri at the same time he pushed a claw gently into Dria, both drames groaning out and clenching their tunnels against him as he explored them both. Kastri really did have a somehow wonderfully cool taste: the only thing Asp could imagine when he tasted it was mountain snow.

Dria didn’t spend too long nursing from his member, pulling free and slipping out from beneath him. She did slide her tongue into Kastri, which only made the indigo drame squeak and flare her wings, tunnel trembling around Asp and Dria’s dueling, entwining tongues. Dria pulled Asp’s tongue out and into a deep kiss, pulling his head away from Kastri as the indigo whined out her need. Dria’s tail spanked against Kastri’s flank as she kissed Asp. After it broke, though, she turned and climbed ontop of Kastri: being slightly smaller, though, she had to stand a bit on her hind claws with her forelegs pushing down between Kastri’s wings. Kastri took that as the signal to lay down into the shallow end of the bath: Asp could see those dusky-purple-blue folds squeezing around the spined side of Dria’s own length and he ducked his head down, licking along his consort’s ridges. Dria growled out her pleasure and pulled her hips back; Asp used his tongue to help direct that tool to push into Kastri, who moaned out her pleasure and relief.

“Ju-just gonna admire the view, stud?” Dria panted; he suddenly became aware, a little, of her heat scent. It seemed her nursing his pre like she had did the trick of encouraging her heat to start a bit early, but Drameshield definitely made the scent less intense, at least. Asp wasn’t sure he’d smell it at all if she wasn’t aroused like she was, really.

“It is a lovely view.” Asp kissed the base of her length, which only made her start to buck her hips a little into Kastri, the indigo struggling not to say anything. He could only guess Dria asked her to be quiet for... some reason. He did surge, climbing ontop of Dria and Kastri. He had to admit, the angle was a bit awkward; his claws had to join Dria’s between Kastri’s wings. Asp was a bit worried about the weight, but the indigo drame just purred louder... Which just made him and Dria laugh a little, though Asp jumped when he felt a tail against his length. He slid his hips forward, and it took a few moments before he realized it was Kastri’s tail guiding him to push into Dria. The golden-drame’s laughing turned into a purring moan as he sunk his whole length into her heated tunnel, her walls gripping down on him hungrily.

“D-Dammit, this is more intense than when you were eating me out while I mated her...” Dria groaned, turning her head to meet his in a kiss. “W-wait a bit to start moving your hips, stud~” He nodded, drawing her into another kiss, tongue wrapping around hers as her hips started to slide. Asp could imagine the view as each time she pulled off of him, she sunk herself into Kastri, and pulling back to mate with Kastri only made his cock sink into her. It wasn’t long before the golden drame-herm was trembling, gasping into the kiss, and Asp did not help her control. Once he was pretty certain he had her rhythm, his own hips started to roll in time with hers, chasing after her when she pushed into Kastri a little before pulling back. Those spines and ridges always made Dria squeal out and squirm, her wings flaring as they dragged against her walls. She let out a surprisingly quick roar into their kiss; Asp could feel her walls clenching at him and he bucked his hips forward to pin her own length base deep inside a groaning Kastri.

“That’s it, pump her nice and full~” Asp growled quietly into their kiss.

“N-no choice, st-stud,” Dria gasped with a huff. “O-our toy’s body is just... devouring it all... fuck, her walls at gripping me like a vice~ Let me try~” She squeezed down, hard, around his length and he let out a snarl in pleasure as she giggled. She had to relent, though: that squeeze had made his hips buck against her quickly, swelling knot trying to push into her. They’d found it much easier for her to take his knot early, so he sunk that swelling bulb into her; they both groaned. Asp felt the familiar pressure of pent-up release building and aching to be free, but he wasn’t quite ready to let go. The part of him that wanted Dria heavy with his eggs held back, which only made Dria growl and try in earnest as her walls squeezed and worked along his length and her hips grinded in small circles... which only made Kastri groan a bit more. Each moment that passed had his knot swelling more and more, tying him to his consort as they kissed atop their needy indigo friend. Asp’s hips bucked and grinded as well, turning those warm, soaked passages’ pleasing caresses into more and more building pressure.

Finally, though, he locked his muzzle against Dria’s while his length erupted. She squeaked and shifted her hinds a bit, easing her weight back until Asp felt his tip push firmly against her womb for a moment. Dria jumped; she told him that always felt weird, a little painful, but mostly pleasant knowing just how deep he was in her. While he’d never managed to get deep enough to push into her directly like he had when he and Ren were... consumed by her heat, they’d discovered it was still a good way to get most of his cum into the deepest parts of her. She purred into the kiss, her entire body pressing into him, her walls milking at his cock with now a passing ease, squeezing just the right way to make pleasure shoot from the base of his length up and up his spine. “T-that’s it stud... better make me heavier than I make our toy~” Dria purred. Asp growled at that; he did not need her to make a challenge. That only made his hips pull back and drag hers with it, making both Dria and Kastri squeak in surprise before he bucked forward and used Dria’s hips to pound against Kastri. “A-Asp?”

“D-don’t make it a challenge like that, I barely have a hold on this breeding kink and instinct as it is, Dree.” Asp muttered. Dria nuzzled him, though she had to stretch and roll her neck a bit: this angle wasn’t the most comfortable for her to hold too long it seemed. It did make kissing when they didn’t mate with her on her back a bit of a challenge.

“If my stud has more he needs to get out, I want it~ And doubt our toy would mind having more of her mistress’s seed in her belly, trying to quench this heat of hers~” Dria purred; Kastri just whined pleadingly. Asp’s mind was just too hazed enough to try to figure out if it was for more or for mercy, though. Dria knew exactly what she was saying, though: her walls clamped down around his knot towards the end with each word. Asp nuzzled his head beneath Dria’s, using his tied cock to pull her hips back and thrust into the indigo drame. “O-oh, fuck, Asp~ That feels weird~ Good weird~” Dria purred.

As if the drake needed anymore encouragement. He carefully pushed his weight down a bit more on both drames beneath him: he had to stand on his claws, so he just worked on getting a better angle before he started grinding his hips against Dria’s and making his consort mate with Kastri again. They’d both discovered the pollen seemed to make them less sensitive post-release as time had gone on... and Dria’s refactoring period was much shorter. It did nothing for his knot, though: if anything it seemed to have made the tie marginally longer. Dria laid down against Kastri more and gave Asp a bit more leeway and thrusting power, making both the herm and the drame squeal as his pace picked up. And, to Dria’s credit, she didn’t just roll with it. She was using her walls to squeeze down on him just as hungrily as Ren had, milking him and building up that powerful wave of pressure, particularly when she clenched like her tunnel was swallowing his cock down. Asp nuzzled up against her head as she panted and moan, mindful of his horns as he rutted into that swallowing sensation, his eyes closing. Suddenly, Dria let out a snarl and her walls convulsed and, instead of hungrily, desperately swallowed against him in rhythm. That clenching spasm around his knot made him tense up and throb before he let out his own loud growl of pleasure out, erupting inside of her for a second time.

“Mis-Mistress, Mas-master, your toy needs a break...” Asp blinked: Kastri sounded... exhausted. Dria let out a squeak; she seemed to have gotten a little pleasure drunk and zoned out towards the end there.

“J-just wait a moment Kastri!” Dria said; Asp could still feel her convulsing through her climax around him; his own length was still twitching and throbbing as well. But Asp noticed when Dria’s finally weakened enough and helped his consort pull back. It was awkward, but he managed to maneuver them into the bath a bit. Not deep enough to be submerged, but Kastri had some space, too. Asp couldn’t help but chuckle and nuzzle against Dria when he saw Kastri’s slightly bloated belly, it was hard to notice, but Dria had certainly managed it. He brought his talon around to rub against Dria’s easier-to-notice swell and kissed on her cheek; she trilled and purred. Kastri pulled herself into the bath on shaky legs.

“I-I really don’t know how you can go that much, Dria...” Kastri said with a shudder. “I think I came... five or six times? I lost count. And whoa!” The indigo nosed at Dria’s belly lightly, much to the drame-herm’s embarrassment. “I mean, I saw how much he came before, but... he’s knotted too? That’s... almost intimidating, now that I’m a bit more clear-headed.” Asp just hid his muzzle by Dria’s.

“Ah, you’re making Asp blush, Kastri.” Dria purred. He gave his consort’s flank a light swat of his tail for that. “O-oh, you still not sated? Maybe it isn’t such a small wonder you knocked up Ren as much as you did~?” She got another tail spank for that one, which only made her trill out and clench around his member: he gave up.

“S-sorry Asp!” Kastri said. Even as she said that, though, Asp felt her tongue lick against what little of his length wasn’t inside of Dria, which only made his hips grind into the golden-herm, who moaned.

“Whoa, careful! I think there’s only so much Drameshield’ll be able to do about your volume alone, Asp!” Dria purred.

“N-not my fault, someone’s tongue was exploring.” Dria clenched around him; he could feel pressure pressing against Dria’s nub that was pinned against his knot.

“Dria said you might need to release quite a bit... even if my lower half’s tired out, I can still use my tongue!” Asp shook his head.

“I’m... good, for now at least. Ren was... I dunno want to say a victim because she’d get really angry about that, but only word I can think of right now, of being so pent-up and frustrated on top of not having mated before.” Asp said. “I’ve... adjusted over the past couple of cycles. Be-besides, I thought you were mostly interested in Dria?”

“I made it very clear we were a package deal and that you would come first.” Dria added in. “She’s actually the one who brought up the toy angle, though...”

“Besides, I do like you! I mean, it’s definitely more as a friend and colleague, but I decided long ago if I did ever meet a smart enough drake, I wouldn’t mind him on top of me.” Kastri said sleepily as she laid down, her head on Dria’s belly. “Didn’t think I’d have both of you ontop of me like that, though... or that it’d feel that good~” She purred. “Now, hopefully Dria’s seed takes and I can really work on rune magic for the next few cycles...”

“Are you going to move here too, then?” Asp asked.

“... Maybe? I feel like the Citadel would be more convenient, though...” Kastri said. “Plus... yeah, I can’t control my spending... and I wouldn’t want to bankrupt you guys. Probably best for me to stay there.” Asp felt... a little weird about that, but if Dria was fine with it, he wouldn’t argue.

“And you’re not going to be in trouble if you get gravid?” Asp asked.

“Nope! Actually one of this cycle’s goals is exactly that, admittedly. At least for the dorm-drames. I was planning on just letting it pass, but this heat... got intense. I can usually focus.”

“I wonder if that pollen’s really as weak as they thought.” Dria muttered. “I mean, my body’s certainly changing a bit. I could never go twice like that so quickly before.”

“Or cum this much! I feel so full.” Kastri muttered. “You’ve got to feel stuffed!” Dria nodded and Asp just hid his head again: his knot was still not going down. She also was only about half-as-full as Ren had been when he’d woken up the morning after her breeding.

“But this one does rut me occasionally,” Asp snorted slightly; she’d been his partner more often than Ren had been. “So could be just exposure to his pollen-sickness and me being a herm.” She said with a sigh. “But either way... I don’t know much about trees and their pollen, but you might want to make a tree when you do find a way to counter-act it, stud. Just in case.” Asp kissed her jaw; he shivered a bit when he felt his knot finally starting it’s shrinking process. Dria purred a little; she always described his knot as feeling amazing, but the stretching did feel a little uncomfortable after a bit, so there was always a relief when he started to deflate. Kastri helped him ease his length out of Dria with her tongue, though that threatened to make him rut the drame-herm again with the scents of season in the air. And the indigo was not shy about cleaning him, and Dria.

“Come get dinner... and do not forget to do that soundproofing tomorrow, Asporyx!” They heard Sryl call out. They all blushed pretty hard at that, though Kastri definitely blushed the most.
