Lucas Hayden is an immeasurable figure head if one is talking about the history of Pokémon ethics and research. The field of Pokémon during his youth was considered a very minor field with of little interest beyond finding use of their abilities, most shoved it off as if there was nothing much to learn from lesser animals; however Hayden never bought into this. At the young age of 17 Hayden was already showing himself to be a standout in his field with his at the time questionable research involving the intelligence of Pokémon; stating that the more intelligent types of species showed complex enough ways of thinking that they could even have the potential for human language and to talk on pare with an adult human. Despite past in his words “un-educated" attempts to teach Pokémon human language Hayden suggested it could be done. This was thought to be a ludicrous claim at the time despite his evidence in speech and brain patterns of the more intelligent humanoid Pokémon.

This research was only later brought into prominence when in 1948, at the age of 22, Hayden along with a few master linguists came up with a strange device that would be attached to a Pokémon's head at youth and allow acquisition of human language if taught properly. The side effects it had on the brain seemed to be almost none as the world fell in awe at a young Treecko who could talk like a young kid; his speech pattern even becoming completely normalized as he fully evolved as an adult after being surrounded by the language. Medical specialists involving brain activity would later learn the specifics on how such a feat was possible and actually quite easy for most humanoid Pokémon, now days the procedure is done with a very cheap and simple chip, it was however considering the time period this was created seen as genius and astonishing considering the lack of technology and knowledge.

After this monumental accomplishment Hayden continued to push feat after feat of both Pokémon technological progress and ethics. He was constantly at the fore front of being a Pokémon activist when suggesting they should get equal moral treatment like humans and be able to even live side by side to them in the future, formed multiple Pokémon help centers, charity's, research foundations, and much more purely for the sake of them. Hayden's entire life was around Pokémon in almost every aspect, there wasn't a single thing within the Pokémon field he didn't attempt to try and further or understand.

Even at the age of 50 he still never stopped what he was doing, he had done enough research to never work another day in his life, yet he was still seen going out in the wilds, taking personal care of Pokémon in both labs and day care centers, further improving on existing Pokémon related technology's and spent his entire cash flow into these projects. Hayden can be thanked for truly starting the modern day equality and explosion of Pokémon popularity in our world today, where now not a single step can be taken without the mention or talk of Pokémon.

Now at the old age of 90 Hayden has in the past 3 years momentarily stopped researching due to health reasons, residing in one of his fully funded Pokémon day care/research centers watching over a few close Pokémon and many others for most likely the rest of his years. Even though he never even once got married, had kids or lead a normal human life like one might expect back in his day he was always commented on having no regrets, he truly was the first ever Pokémon fanatic.

A knock could be heard from Earl Brown's office. “Uh Earl you there? Heeellooo." The Grovyle kept knocking on his office despite the fact the room looked to be closed with almost no lights on and the clock displaying the time at around 1:00am. “Ugh seriously, you were the one that called me to wake up saying it was something important, now open up!“ then suddenly as the Grovyle made hard knock he noticed the door hit forward and the force opened it back up towards him… it wasn't even locked in the first place. Getting a suddenly bad gut feeling the Grovyle opened the door and looked around the room, not seeing much of anything with the dim lighting. He flicked the switch on to suddenly notice that he wasn't really even there, or at least in his desk area. Checking the next logical place the Grovyle went into the back where his personalized research area was only to find him sleeping with his face and hands planted on a desk with some machinery.

The Grovyle rolled his eyes and approached him to shake his arm. “Hey wake up already, I didn't come here to-“but he stopped himself mid-sentence as he shook the man a few times, it was incredibly subtle.. but he could right away through almost sheer instincts tell that he was either totally blacked out or dead. “Earl!" the Grovyle shouted out as he shook him harder and the man fell down on the floor with a few papers. He noticed in one hand he was clutching a strange looking gem, and in the other a few papers.

One of the papers he recognized right away, the short article someone recently wrote detailing a very brief history of Hayden's life, he guessed he was reading it; but the other seemed hand written with Earl's fairly sloppy handwriting. Normally he should be calling the emergency medical staff right now to see if he's really alive but the strange phone call, the open office and this… something about the oddness of the situation was telling him to take the paper himself and read it before anything, which is exactly what he did.

“Max, if you're reading this then most likely I am already dead and you came in accordance with my late night call, sorry for waking you up so late just to have me already gone, but I didn't have any plan to go back, after reading what I'm about to tell you probably wouldn't have let me do it. As you know Hayden and I both don't have much time for us to live, him in his old age and me in my severe development in skin cancer. Despite never having a son that willy old man practically treated me like his own once mine died in that accident, he said it was just the least he could do to a fellow “poke-lover". But despite how much aptitude and intelligence I showed in helping the field, Nothing I did could ever hope to amount to what Hayden has done for the field. It doesn't matter how great Leonardo Da Vinci's student is, he would have no hope in being able to catch up to the genius that was the original; it would take me 50 years to accomplish the things he could do in 15.

But why am I telling you all this in my note? Well It's simple, I decided many years ago once I did actually get my skin cancer that this world needs Hayden and not me, as my own way of giving back to him I wanted to find a way to extend his life as much as possible, give him a chance to live again like he used to. So using the research on the specialty of aura type Pokémon like Lucario I decided to personally devote it into the rejuvenation powers aura can have in order to give more life back to Hayden. And so after many years of research and a bit of tweaking I immensely magnified that rejuvenation power a Lucario can use by using the special properties of the gem found in Sableye. However this requires an immense amount of aura and energy which can only be obtained through something living sense aura only comes from a living being, and hence I decided with the help of a Lucario to use my own life energy. Once this gem comes in contact with Hayden it should give him some amount of life back, however much that ends up being. So please as a dead man's last wish, give this to Hayden as he sleeps tonight, and tell him thank you for all the great time we had! – Earl Brown."

Max couldn't believe what he just read or even what had just happened, he had never really known Earl very well yet he still entrusted him with something this extreme; I suppose what he did trust was Max's caring-ness towards Hayden though. This whole thing was a bit hard to soak in but Max wasn't the type to hesitate, in fact on could say he was almost too calm about the situation. In reality he barley understood much of the mumbo jumbo in his death wish but decided to just go with it and picked up the gem out of Earl's hand, looking at it briefly. “I always knew you were a bit of a weirdo Earl, but to go this far." Max let out a sigh and started walking out of the room. “Well I guess if I get more time with Hayden it'll be worth it, but this whole thing seems like the pipe dream of a madman.."

Max silently walked into the room Hayden was sleeping in leaving the lights out, looking down at the old guy sleeping peacefully connected to a few hospital wires. He knew he wasn't dead yet and still had a few years left in him but he always hated looking at him when hooked up and sleeping like this, he always liked to remember the energetic old man he knew when he was a young Treecko. *Well.. here goes nothing.* Max not knowing what to expect carefully placed the gem in his hand, folded his fingers around it and put his hand near his chest not wanting it to fall off. It seemed to start glowing just a little bit but nothing he could tell was happening, at all in fact. Max frowned a bit. “I don't even know what I was expecting really, maybe it at best gives him back 3 years or something.. what a letdown." Max feeling disappointed casually left the room and closed to the door, heading right to bed as if to forget about the entire night.

The next morning the place was back to its usual hustle and bustle with a few staff members walking around and one Charmeleon casually walking toward Hayden's room with some prepared breakfast and juice. “Oh morning David, what did you make for him today?" A man said casually walking past the Charmeleon. “I got him some blue berry pancakes homemade, he always likes a bit of a treat on Mondays~". The Charmeleon kept walking past multiple people as he carefully opened the door with one hand and had the tray in his other. “Good morning Hayden, I have something special for you today!" he said as he closed the door behind him. He heard a typical yawn and stretch come from the bed and chuckled to himself as he turned around. “Hope you-“ he paused completely a gasped at what he saw.

“Oh? What have you got for me today!" said the voice coming from Hayden's bed in a much younger lighter tone. “ah.. my voice sounds odd today.." The Charmeleon shocked and unsure of what to do at this odd situation said nothing to him, dropped his plate and quickly ran out of the room to get someone.

Moments later the Charmeleon who had been taking care of him and a doctor of some kind were all sitting beside the young man from Hayden's bed doing some sort of DNA testing. Multiple people and Pokémon were surrounding the outside of his room confused as to what was going on.

The doctor looked at the screen in a very odd matter and let out a sigh and shrug of his shoulders. “Well.. I've done the test about 4 times now just to make sure they are right because even I can't believe it.. But this is definitely Lucas Hayden, no question." The Charmeleon didn't seem accepting of that answer. “Do you honestly expect me to believe that, I've been taking care him for years and.. well, just look at him!" he pointed at the young looking blue eyed and blonde haired man in front of him sitting with a patients uniform on, looking completely fascinated by what he looks like in a hand held mirror not even listening to them. Directing himself both at Hayden and the Charmeleon the doctor spoke up. “Well believe it or not the machine isn't malfunctioning or lying, although according to his blood work and the health of his cells Hayden would appear to at best be maybe in his early 20's… the biggest sign of this was actually his testosterone levels and biological health of his sex organs and sperm, they showed very clear signs of someone in the “spring of their youth" so to speak."

“Well I certainly look that way don't I! haha hard to believe that I somehow even got my hair to grow back, though back in my day you'd have to keep it above the ears, I've never looked at it below being this young before!" The doctor and Charmeleon were both a bit dumbstruck from his reaction though they didn't seem surprised really, it seemed like exactly the kind of thing this “old" eccentric would say given this completely insane situation.

Hayden then with a bit of a spring hoped up out of his bed. “Well I can't be spending all day thinking about my youth and what not though, regardless of if I'm 20 or 200 I gotta go to the day care and spend time with the young ins waiting for me, I'm sure they'll get a kick out my new looks!

The doctor gave the Charmeleon a strange look as he sighed a little. “Alright fine Mr. Hayden, let me walk you to the-“ But Hayden immediately almost slammed open the door alarming all the people outside the room as he walked through, barley paying attention to them and beaming with energy. “Don't worry nothing to see here folks, as you can see I'm perfectly healthy and normal again! Back to your business." Hayden said as he didn't even bother to stop casually strolling past the very confused crowd of Pokémon and people with the Charmeleon chasing him. “W-Wait Mr. Hayden, please let me at least get you're clothing!!"

“And so kids that's how I got back my youth back!." About 15 different younger Pokémon were all gathered around him on his big chair as most of the younger ones let out long awes of amazement, though some of the older ones seeming much more confused. “Hey Hey Hayden show us a uh. A picture of you when you were young, to prove it!" said a young Torchic as the other kids cheers on, the older ones also very interested as Hayden chuckled. “Haha very well kids, lucky for you I got just the pictures after what happened today."

He set down some old black and white photos of him and his old previous team with the first talking Treecko as everyone looked in amazement. “Wow you really do look just like him! Or you, like in the picture!" “Yeah yeah but you look better with color" “and cuter too" all the Pokémon started to laugh as Hayden smiled. “You know kids that Treecko right there is actually the grandfather of Max here, I had spent most of my life dealing with him and his family, and now it seems I got another few generations to handle!" The other pokemon started laughing until suddenly the older Zororak of the group, a Pokémon Hayden has known since the Zoroark's birth suddenly went up to him and stared at his eyes almost like examining him, to which Hayden only looked back with his usual wide smile. “What's the matter Liam, don't even believe me or the doctors!" “Hmmmmm… I don't know.. how do I really know it's you though, you seem too cute for an old man." Some of the group started to giggle. “Oh is that so? Guess I have no choice."

Hayden suddenly grabbed both sides of the Zoroark's head, pushed his face close to his and gave him a small kiss on his snout above his nose; something he did commonly with him as both a kid and as he is now. Liam unexpectedly retreated after this and brushed his nose with a bit a light blush on his face looking away, as Hayden let out a loud laughter. “Hoho don't tell me you're to embarrassed for that now days!" Liam looked away a little bit not wanting to admit his embarrassment as a few kids snickered more. “It's.. a little different when you look younger like that old man.." he said quietly.

As the kids continued asking him lots of question Max continued to silently observe and listen with the group farther away, deep in thought. “Man I can't believe it.. I've been sitting here thinking of any possible way this is an elaborate joke by earl but there's just no way that's not Hayden, he's too similar.. even with that kiss he always gives us." He looked over at his best friend Liam now also a bit farther away but not wanting to admit his embarrassment earlier, then back to Hayden. “But even so.. It just looks almost nothing like him, he looks like the kind of guy I'd hit on at a bar or something." “Jealous of his kiss?"

Max suddenly jolted up a little to see his Raichu friend looking at him just a little cocky. “Huh jealous? Don't be ridiculous he does that to everyone." Raichu snickered a little. “Yeah but now he looks like a cutie, who knew the old guy was such a catch in his younger days.. in fact, he kind of looks like the type of human you'd hit on at a bar right?" Max let out a slightly annoyed sound and equally annoyed facial expression. “Can't you bother Liam about that, he seemed much more embarrassed then I was." The Raichu crossed his arms a bit. “Hmm I could, but he'd probably just say something snarky to me and never admit it, unlike me I actually know I got some new hots for Hayden 2.0; New, improved, younger faster, and sexy!"

Max rolled his eyes a bit. “Oy come on keep it down were not THAT far away from the kids or Hayden." Raichu laughed a little. “Oh they aren't paying attention, besides I know the fact crossed you're mind a bit too. Face it were all the old perverts of the group here who barley ever get a chance to get out and test our loins, it's the price you pay for living here and being with Hayden." Max didn't even bother to argue, he wasn't as mouthy about it as Justin over here but he was completely right, It didn't matter if it was Hayden or not his looks were hitting all his weak spots, which was actually terrible for Max cause he doubt anything would even come of it and now he had to deal with seeing him. “… I really want to make fun of Liam now."

Justin scratched the back of his head casually. “You always do when you're frustrated, but maybe I'll join you this time, I'm not really sure I like the way my mind is thinking about this either."

“Ah and the three that will come with me will be Max, Liam, and Justin!" Hayden suddenly said standing up pointing dramatically at the three not paying attention, all simultaneously looking over at him in confusion; along with the rest of the staff that had come in looking rather shocked. Hayden let out a slightly annoyed hum at the three's response though. “You three weren't even paying attention to me or my stories were you!" At that moment all three of them simultaneously realized now that Hayden was young again they couldn't get away with ignoring his stories or dumb comments sense he actually was in his right mind with his young brain, they all looked at the floor feeling a small sense of annoyance from this thought as Hayden only puffed at their response.

“Well what I said was now that I'm young and spry again I'm never coming back to this place, I had fun here when I was feeble but now I'm sick of it! I'll be going on expeditions for the next few years to the wilds to see any new Pokémon discovers or changes in geography and I want you three to join me!" Hayden said with a cheeky grin.

A staff member quickly tried interrupting him. “Uhm sir Mr. Hayden please allow us to do a few more tests on your health or tell more people of your depature! This whole thing is really sudden and well there will be a lot of news talking about this, people are still looking into the cause and-“ “Don't care! I'm not famous for sitting around waiting for everything to get cleaned up just cause it's completely unknown how I'm young again, you guys deal with it I'll be leaving soon."

The three still looking at bit shocked only stood there dazed for a moment before the Grovyle spoke up. “But.. why us exactly?" the other two had similar thoughts. And with that Hayden started casually strolling out of the room. “Great! I'll see you three in 4 hours, have all you're stuff prepared!" The three gave him an angry stare. “Hey wait a minute ya old geez- I-I mean you.." but he had already left without saying much of anything, leaving not only the three pokemon still bewildered but the entire staff suddenly scrambling all over the place.

“Tch.. that guy's acting like he was when we were younger again." The Raichu said in slight annoyance. “Yeah he is..but you know, I kind of like it.." The Grovyle and Raichu looked at Liam a bit confused to hear that from him as he looked down a bit embarrassed. “Well it just.. reminded me of the times when we were all younger is all.. plus I think he didn't bother to wait cause he already knew we'd probably say yes.. so, stop staring at me like that assholes, I was just being honest!" The two stopped and gave him a casual but serious look, understanding he usually doesn't say things so straight forwardly. “Well then, I guess we should get prepared like he said, not like any of us are passing up on an opportunity like this, so let's all figure out what we want to bring."

The three Pokémon could hardly believe what was going on or the series of events that led up to this point. None of them would quiet call Hayden a father or something but they had known him for a long time and as kids did quite a few things with him, though not really in the wilds. But they always knew him as some old man of the past, someone born way before they could ever imagine that they had almost started to think would pass on in a few more years, and yet here they were with some strange 20 year old version of him, they couldn't even pretend it was the same Hayden trapped in a good looking young body because he was clearly way more energetic, stronger and more clear headed then the older Hayden they knew, In some ways he felt like a completely like him but in others a new person.

Meanwhile Hayden himself was practically feeling euphoric in being able to get outside again, he almost couldn't believe how slow and sluggish his old mind was now that he was back in his young body. “Aaah this really is just like the good old days, though the forest has certainly changed in the last 30 years or so! In fact being this spry again even reminds me of when I met you're grandfather as a little kid out here in the forest Max! Ahh and even a little bit of being with your own father Liam, my how time has gone huh?" The two pokemon didn't even have a response to that, it felt increadibly surreal for them to even think about that fact, especially for max who's entire family history he knew about has been with Hayden.

“By the way I hope you boys don't mind getting a bit rough out here so to speak, the wilderness can be quiet harsh." Max was the first to speak up. “Ah no it should be fine, we don't do it often but we do get to go here on occasion after all." “Though usually we just go to the bar!" The Raichu blurted out. “And uhm.. can you not call us “boys" please, it's really weird hearing that from you when you look and sound almost as old as us now." Liam said somewhat quietly. “Ahh that's a good point isn't it, I guess I better start actually acting my new age now… hmm this is gonna be tricky, it feels like I've had this body all my life but I got the memories of an old man. Not to mention I have all kinds of new things to understand about being young in this day and age, it's quiet exciting thinking of all the problems I'll have again!"

Max lightly smiled to himself. *Man I don't know what I was worrying about before, the new Hayden is pretty fun to be around even if still eccentric, I think it should be easy to-* “Hehe you know that means you're gonna start getting erections again right? When was the last time you even had one?" Max and Liam gave Justin an annoyed look followed by a quick hit to the head. “OW hey!" “Oh shut up you idiot, Hayden doesn't want to hear you spout out that shit." Liam said in an angry tone. The three stopped as they heard Hayden chuckle loudly. “Ah that's right I have a sex drive again don't I, quiet a pesky thing that is. But that is the least of our troubles boys.. or I guess, men.. guys? Well either way there's no need to worry about something that trivial." The three stopped talking and continued to follow Hayden after that sentence, all pondering a little bit to themselves.

*I didn't expect him to even answer that, I thought he'd joke around.. but what does he mean not a problem..* *Man that old man just doesn't get embarrassed does he.. he's just like Justin and blurts out what he's saying.. but, I wonder..* *Hehe is that guy insinuating something with those words I wonder.. I mean he is a world renown poke master right, so in his heyday he surely has gotten plenty of action.. maybe that means…* *He wants to have sex with us?*

All the sudden with those last thoughts all three of the Pokémon simultaneously stared at each other for a brief moment before suddenly looking away, even Justin feeling a bit embarrassed from that one. “… Let's, talk about it a bit later guys, maybe in private." Max said for the group, the other two just nodded and continued following Hayden.

“Huh? You guys really want to sit back for this?" The three paused for a second sitting down in the momentary cave they found staring at Hayden. Max pondered for a moment before speaking “Well were gonna be here awhile and, I'd rather do some stuff when I'm more you know accustomed to being out here.. plus you only said you'd be gone for what 30 minutes at best." “Yeah Yeah! Seriously if it was longer we'd go but instead let's just prepare a few things for when you're back, you can go survey the area for uh.. geography, differences from the map or.. something." Justin said not sure of the words he mentioned. “Well suit yourselves then, guess I'm just all excited in general for this trip. Alright guys, I'll be back in a few! In fact it was a good call you setting things up, cause I need to get my new muscles working again and could probably use a good relaxing night!"

And with that Hayden started running off out of the cave as the three stared him off. He was maybe about average height for a human male with an average build sense the years or so he stopped working out from age, fairly long legs with his somewhat puffy slightly untamed blonde hair sticking out from his explorer hat.. really his whole outfit was like from the 1950's with those rather small short-shorts and small fitting top like an explorers uniform for a teenager. Really when taking it in, the three could tell he was quiet a catch; energetic, young, good looking, a funny eccentric, he had a lot going for him.

As he left the three stared back at each other. “So guys the question now is.. do you think maybe he wants US to hit on him, maybe with that talk he was talking about you know.. at night." Max said feeling a bit odd straight up saying it. The Raichu rolled his eyes. “Oh he totally wants us to fuck him, think about it guys this is THE Pokémon man, the reason we can speak human language, have rights, you know all that good shit! I mean he was clearly not with a girl cause all he did was fuck Pokémon, the dudes probably a master."

Liam crossed his long arms a bit thinking. “Hmmm yeah maybe.. but I hope were not overthinking this, is he really insinuating that or just being his weird self.." “Oi come on Liam have more confidence for once! Even if he's not I say we give it a chance, I mean the guys cute as hell, and his improved personality even fits his young good looks! I want a feel of that butt before it gets to used up, I bet he feels tight after not getting any.." Max coughed a little bit. “Justin.." The Raichu suddenly snapped up a bit realizing he was getting an erection just thinking about it. “Ooh woops hehe uh.. let's just prepare a good bed for when he's back shall we!"

After about 30 minutes or so like Hayden said he came back jogging slightly into the cave, not seeming winded at all from whatever happened. “Heeeyy team!" The three popped their heads over as he came back, they all felt a tad bit anxious but acted confident. “Hey Hayden looks like you made it back, come sit down with us." Max smiled over at his friend Liam who made the comment. *looks like he's in his little seductive mood, just keep up the confidence Liam!*

“Aah sounds good, looks like you made the beds already fantastic! Oh and I was thinking to, when I was younger I was just called Lucas, so no more old man games like Hayden or Mr. Hayden, from now on just call me Lucas alright!" he said pointing at them.

Raichu giggled and wore his usual cocky grin. “Sounds good, I like that name better anyways. So Lucas how about you lay with us and we uh, just get right into it huh?" Max didn't feel as confident with Justin's words though, he's always just trying to get to sex as fast as possible and just isn't smooth at all. “Ah uhm what Justin means is-“ “you wanna have sex with us!? We've been waiting this whole time so let's just-““Justin!" The two Pokémon shouted simultaneously at him.

Lucas stared at the three for a bit before laughing loudly. “Oh so that's what this is about eh? You guys really want to have sex with me? Hmm but I can't imagine you guys would really be that interested in.. well.. I guess I am young, but you know."

The three looked over at him pretty confused, this time Max talking up. “Uh.. why would that be" “Yeah I don't get it!" Justin blurted out afterward as Lucas chuckled more. “Well I know people these days are all for sex all the time but I really don't have much expeince even when I was younger."

The three were rather shocked to hear that statement, they almost thought he was straight up lying. In fact Justin wasn't having any of that. “Oh come on you? You've been on this earth like more then 4x longer then either of us and you've barley had sex!?"

Lucas scratched his chin lightly. “Ah I guess you guys wouldn't understand these days huh, so open with having sex with one another and humans and everything. It's not like I didn't have interest, but back in my day that was enough to get you arrested and in some places executed. Even when other Pokémon showed interest, which was still incredibly rare back when I was young I might add, I had to be very carefull about if I could get away with doing it or if it was the right time. Now don't get me wrong I've been around here and there with lots of types over the years but sometimes it wasn't risking my research and the fantastic life I lead. Back in the day it was more worth just masturbating myself to sleep where nobody could read my thoughts, my work came first. By the time sex with pokemon became an open discussion with ethics I was already getting to old to really bother at that point, by the mid 80's I was already 60 after all."

All three were once again taken back by how sound his rebuttal was, they were expecting some dumb response but it actually made sense, and simultaneously they weren't really sure how to respond until Lucas suddenly shouted. “AAaaah!"

They all looked up at him to see a strange expression of realization on his face. “Hmm that's it! Yes that's perfect! The reason I always come out on this expeditions is to learn some new unexplored facets about Pokémon right!? Ah well.. you probably didn't know that, but that's why I'm here! I'm never satisfied with one field involving Pokémon, ethics, biology, technology, whatever as long as it's new and exciting! And lost in my old age I realized I never did exploration of Pokémon sexuality! That is its own field now right?

All three looked at him a little oddly, only Justin having the courage to speak up. “Ah uhm… yeah actually, there's a lot of research on that still, cause with humans living among our various species theres been immergance of mixing breeding habits, much of this having social effects on certain Pokémon including what their sexuality may more lean towards and how they act around others.." Liam and Max looked at Justin incredibly confused by his insight and knowledge of this subject.
