The next chapter in the Power To The Players saga!

This time, we're going back in time, right back to the aftermath of the very first PTTP story. Nick and Skye have just finished making passionate love, albeit on a dirty retail store counter, and decide to celebrate with a late-night breakfast.

But not all's well with Skye, because now she must deal with the ramifications of what she's done with Nick. Some are good, some... not so good...

Rest assured, though - these are the same two gamers that are currently engaged and extremely happy together, so you can assume it's all going to work out by the time you read the next 6000 words :D

And once again, all credit goes to Pickles for writing this beautiful story. I've had this idea in my head for months, but she's brought it to life in the best way possible. I'll once again remind everyone that she's taking commissions, and loves doing short, romantic stories like the PTTP series the most! "Order up!" With a faint ding and a clack of the kitchen doors swinging shut, the surprisingly vivacious waitress, a curved woman with hips as loud as her voice was, briskly breezed over with her arms filled. Twin mugs of hot chocolate, spilling over with melting, sugary whipped cream plopped into the center of the table followed by a platter of hash browns, faintly wafting with the scent of butter and a browned sunshine hue before a stacked plate of French toast entered in a puff of powdered sugar and a spread of eggs, bacon, and toast.

Over their heads, a single fan still ran with a soft whistling sound through the otherwise dead restaurant. The lights on one half of the restaurant were even dimmed, not needed in the late hours of the twenty four hour span of the IHOP. On all four walls, the same kitschy striped red and white, country style American decor covered the walls with 'original' paintings spaced neatly over each table. The sight of the food, several hours after the pair had trudged away from the GameStop across the street, instantly made the place seem to come alive with the bright yellow of the eggs, the cozy golden of the hash browns, the glitter freshly poured syrup… To make it better, Nick's food sat between him and the red panda, Skye.

When he glanced over, he caught her looking down at the feast they'd ordered with faint surprise. Her thick eyelashes covered where exactly her gaze had fallen, but Nick eyed the small pout of her soft lips. He remembered what they felt like, just hours before on his own… The recent memory brought a small curl to the edges of his lips despite the ache that throbbed through his entire frame from the repercussions of the impromptu location sex. His eyes couldn't help but compare the sight of her now to his first glimpse, when he'd headed into his nearest GameStop to browse and caught sight of her behind the counter. He remembered seeing just the ears atop her head, rimmed with white that faded into a darker brownish red from beneath the counter when she'd bent down, only to have all of her slowly come into view when she stood from the rust-colored fur of her face, matching to the majority of her body. The first sight of her muzzle, all white and just smiling, that'd cemented it for him.

She suddenly looked up, catching him mid-stare and lighting up with a grin despite herself. Her tail swished beneath the table, catching him with the fluffy tip before she waved a fork at him. "Stop staring. I can't dig into this if you're looking at me like that!"

"Sorry! Sorry! Can't help myself…" Nick looked down, hiding the smile that'd broken over his face again at the flashback to hours before, finishing in a panting heap against each other on the countertop: "God! There's cum on the cash register keys! Really? This is going to take hours to clean up!"

And hours it did take. After ample time catching their breath, hugging to each other on the dirty, store countertop, they'd peeled themselves up and nearly tripled that amount of time cleaning the store. From washing the counter's display window so that the dried strains peeled off of the glass to re-setting all the games they'd rattle off the wall shelves.

"We're just lucky that I had already started clean up-"

"You mean that you'd already turned off the cameras?" Nick cracked a crooked smile, feeling a slight tingle of panic at the mere idea of the security cameras catching their time on the counter, but Skye had thankfully clicked them off minutes before he arrived.

"Yes, that's exactly what I mean! If those had been on," She gave a little shake of her head, making her loose waves of red dance over her breasts re-hidden beneath a t-shirt. "No amount of cleaning would have gotten us out of trouble then."

After cleaning, Nick had invited Skye to the late night IHOP across from the GameStop location since both of them were starving after the mixture of strenuous activities. Plus, he considered it only a slight deviation from his original plan of taking her out for dinner.

As the plates started to empty and conversation filled the table instead, Nick couldn't help but find that his cheeks ached slightly from holding a smile for so long. Everything seemed too good to be true. Finally, he'd stop getting shit about his inability to get laid! Plus, the more they talked, the better the red panda turned out to be.

"Nick, I have a serious proposition-"

His wandering mind suddenly froze and a jolt shot down his spine. He could see her sharp eyes, staring across at him without wavering. "She's going to say she regrets it. That this is it. What's she going to say? 'How about we forget this and move on?'"

"Y-Yeah?"

She paused, holding his gaze for one more, pregnant second. "Best weapon for the zombie apocalypse. Go."

"Oh my God, she IS perfect."

~~~
However, as the night continued on, Skye's playful banter started to dwindle. The excited chirp in her voice began to quiet. She glanced down into the surface of her water, watching the miniature waves ripple over it surface as she tapped on it glass.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Nick asked, leaning across the table with both brows furrowed at the sight of the red panda visibly drooping. She looked up, her ear tips even slanted forward slightly while a sad smile curled the corners of her mouth.
"It's just… I don't regret what happened… what we did, I mean. But, uh, I cheated." She paused, eyes wide like she was surprised she'd said it. "It's not like he didn't deserve it, but I can't believe it. I cheated. I'm a cheater." She bit her lip, sucking in air sharply and dropping her gaze again.
"Hey now. Hey…" Nick reached over the table, gently pulling her hand onto his, tangling their fingers together. "That doesn't mean you're a bad person-"
"What does it mean then?" She shot back, interrupting his attempts at comfort with a sharp look. "What does it say about me that I could cheat? That I didn't even hesitate-" She inhaled a long breath. "I have to break up with him." She looked down, finger instinctively going to toy with the ring, only to remember it sat in her pocket, not even on. "It's going to be rough… for everyone."
Nick's eyes searched over her face, seeing where the fur wrinkled just slightly at her forehead because of her furrowed brow beneath. "It'll be hard for a bit, but it'll be better in the end. This will just be a catalyst. It'll get you away from Aiden. That's good right?"
Skye sighed, a sound so deep and sad Nick felt his heart clenched. "Two wrongs don't make a right, though. This is going to be unpleasant… for me, for my parents. God, my mom! She introduced us!" She leaned forward on the table, rubbing her temples. "It's just going to suck."
Nick struggled to find the right words. His eyes flicked from her drooping ears to the sight of her face tucked between her fidgeting, nervous hands that worked anxiously through her hair. He didn't know what to say to fix it all, until finally, he found the words: "Hey, how about some pie?"
~~~

Filled with whipped cream and buttery crust, the pair finally left the quiet eatery and headed side by side into the cool, dark night before they hesitated at their separate cars, realizing the moment had come that this night would finally end. Skye looked up to the human, leaning slightly into his side with a soft kiss on one cheek. "I just need to figure things out right now… before anything else."

Nick smiled, gently rubbing her shoulder once before he stepped away. "I understand." His voice stopped, though he considered saying more; "I'll be here", or "Hurry back to me," but instead he just gave a little wave as the girl slid into her seat, started the engine, and sped off into the night until all he saw were taillights.

Easing open the door at home, Skye anticipated its old creak and slowly closed it behind her. The apartment sat silent, only the faintest rumble of the fridge running audible as the red panda set down her purse and kicked off both shoes onto the welcome mat, already hearing Aiden's complaint the next morning: "We have a closet for shoes so people don't see them just laying out, remember?"

She shrugged, leaving them. "What's the point?" she thought before trudging down the hall to where the bedroom door sat hanging open. The sprawled shape of her fiancé stretched over the mattress, tangling the sheets he insisted on using around his thighs and throwing the comforter off the side of the bed. Skye undressed, regulating her breathing so she didn't risk waking him until she crawled onto the mattress, fitting herself against his side only to have him lightly smack at her arm in his sleep, demanding she not curl it over his side. When she withdrew, just resting a hand on his side as she snuggled onto his chest, he rolled over completely, leaving her just staring at his back.

"No surprise there," she thought, grimacing at the reminder of Aiden's aversion to cuddling as she hauled the comforter over her shoulder and curled into it on her half of the bed. "I wonder if Nick's a cuddler…"

~~~
"Aiden, I need to talk to you." The wolf barely looked up from the newspaper, where he skimmed through the updates on his stocks each afternoon like clockwork. "Sure, go ahead."
"Aiden, it's important." His chin twitched upwards, eyes half meetings hers. "What?"
"Aiden, I-I cheated on you."
Now the newspaper went down, crumpling slightly. "What?"
"Last night. I apologize, but it made me realize something. I can't do this. I don't want to marry you. In fact, I want to break up with you." Skye's hands clenched together, fingers lacing. "I'm leaving you."
"What do you mean you're leaving me? We're getting married!" The newspaper had been forgotten, laid out onto the table as Aiden stood up from his chair, suddenly towering but the red panda just puffed up further, voice steady: "No, I've met someone, Aiden. Someone who… gets me."
"Someone who 'gets' you?" He spat out the words, one by one. "I get you! I let you put all this gamer stuff in our house! Our bedroom looks like a sci-fi movie! How can you say I don't get you?"
"That's not getting me, that's putting up with me, Aiden!"
"Who is it? Some rich guy? Someone offer to buy you a Play 5?!"
Skye's eye twitched. "That isn't even a thing. And no." She took a deep breath, centering herself. "I told you, I met someone who understands me. But, that's not even why. You know why. It's because of you. You treat me horribly!"
"What? I let you do whatever you want! You live with me! I pay to let you work at that stupid, little shop-"
"You LET me? You do not let me work anywhere. I chose to. You do FORCE me to wear uncomfortably small bras because you can't stand the thought of some customer knowing I have breasts! You do FORCE me to hide anything I actually care about, even purging our HOME of them! You don't LET me do anything!"
"I can't even believe this. What guy could be worth leaving me for?" Aiden demanded, mind circling back to his real point of contention, but Skye just sighed, launching back into the spiel again.
At the same time, in another place, Nick sat at home in the quiet basement. His parents, gone on vacation, left a list of unfinished chores on the counter, but he couldn't focus enough to "clean the gutters, sweep the lawn clippings off driveway…" or any of the other menial demands. Instead, he'd spent the day hidden in the dim light of the basement, with the television basking the room in undulating red and blue while rain pattered on the glass outside. A game ran, but Nick's fingers were slow on the buttons, eyes not registering the entire screen. His focus was elsewhere, fretting over Skye.
"I wonder what she's doing right now. Did she break up with Aiden yet? Even if she did… will she want a relationship right after? What if it was a one-time thing? What if she just wants to be friends, though that'd be okay… butI felt something. I know we felt something, together."
He suddenly stopped even trying to play. His avatar just stood on the screen, not moving. "I've never been in love before, but this is it. I know it is."
"Brriiinng! Briiiiiing!" The phone, tossed aside on the couch, suddenly started to buzz madly. Nick blinked, scooping it up expecting to see his mother's number flashing there, ready to remind him to take out the trash tomorrow morning, but instead he didn't recognize the caller at all.
"Hello?"
"Nick. It's me." Skye.
Nick held the phone a bit tighter, though his eyes widen slightly. "How'd you get my number?"
He could practically hear the sheepishness in her voice, see her eyes dropping a bit. "Admittedly, I used the GameStop database to look up your PowerUps card credentials… which has your phone number-"
Nick chuckled, "You know that's kinda creepy, right?"
"-and your address."
Silence beat once through the phone line. "I'm outside." She paused, voice dropping past even a whisper level. "Can I come in?"
Nick jumped up, tossing aside the game controller and taking the stairs two at a time until he found himself in front of the door, holding it open so that the smell of the wet earth wafted in and he could see her there, standing on the welcome mat. She wore a plain, black t-shirt dress that fell to mid-thigh, but it'd been soaked through so much it stretched down towards her knees. Her boots glistened with the rain smeared over the leather, socks damp on top. Her long, red hair was stringy with water tangling it into chunks. Even her thick tail looked waterlogged. "Come in, come in" he urged, ushering her inside and closing the door quickly with one last gush of cool, damp air before she shivered on the inside mat instead.
She looked at him, teeth chattering slightly. "I'm s-sorry. I just had to leave the apartment. I had to get away, from Aiden. I knew he was s-seconds away from k-kick-kicking me out. So, I went to GameStop… I got your info, t-then I just wandered all day." Her eyes drooped so low and heavy Nick cringed, pulling her by the arm gently into the kitchen.
"Shhh. It's no big deal." Within minutes, he swept down the stairs to the laundry room, scooping hot towels from the half-started laundry and bundling them around her on a barstool before he began to heat soup on the stove. At the same time, the microwave whirred with heating hot cocoa. Then, he settled the hot treats around her before he stood to the side, nodding to the steaming bowl. "It'll warm you up."
So, they sat in the kitchen with steam enveloping them both while idle chatter filled the quiet space. "So, greatest middle school moment?"
"Oh! I once had this punk in my science class, always in my way, liked to stop by my locker just to annoy me. Well, one day, during a special game assembly, for fun and bonding, they took us to an amusement location with bowling and arcade games? He comes by while I'm playing Pac-Man and just sneers, "What are you doing? Girls don't play games." Then, I crushed him. Beat him and the arcade's records. Put S-K-Y-E right there in the leaderboards." She laughed, blowing steam off the bowl and across the counter at him.
As they swapped stories, keeping the topics light and evolving to cover middle school, summers, and college life smoothly to defuse Skye's tension. Finally, when the soup had been sipped and the hot cocoa finished, they wandered back to the basement where the game Nick had left waited on pause.
Side by side, between easy banter, they finished the game. Which, as the final cutscene played, finally forced away the flawless avoidance tactic. Nick swallowed, turning to the red panda who sat to his right, bundled within a blanket so that her chin half hid behind the wool. Her eyes, so bright even in the dim lighting of the basement, instantly met his. "Listen, Skye. I don't want this… relationship?" A fraction of insecurity broke his voice, but he pushed forward, "I don't want it to end. I promise you if you give me a chance, just… a shot with you. I'd never give you any reason to want to cheat because I treat you like nothing… I'd never do that. You are so special." His voice broke, petering out.
He hesitated, eyes searching over her face, but she wasn't speaking. A moment of panic jolted through him again, making him think he'd lose her before he launched into the only back-up pan he could think of! "Never gonna giiive you up… Never gonna leeet you down…" His voice started as a nervous whisper, just humming out the words, but with each line a little more confidence snuck in. "Never gonna ruuun around and deseeert you! Never gonna make you cry-" he grabbed onto her hand, squeezing, "Never gonna saaay goodbye! Never gonna tell a liiie and huuurt you."
As his voice faded out, finishing the chorus, a silence followed. Then, Skye burst out laughing. Her laughter started as a sudden gasp, a bursting of the dam before she just started to giggle. Her eyes were welling up, whether from conflicted emotions or from the strength of her amusement, and they rolled down the fur of her cheeks. When she quieted, her fingers laced tighter around the human's. Face still wet, she leaned up into him, lips finding his for a short, eager kiss. "This is going to be okay" she whispered, slowly sitting back.
Her eyes searched over his while a smile grew over her face. "I think, just this once, two wrongs worked out right…" She leaned back in, this time while his arms circled around her to keep the proximity. "Because I found you."
Nick felt his chest swell, heart skipping a beat. Her cheek pressed into his shoulder so he could feel the tears, no longer flowing but just damp on her cheeks. Gently, his hand ran over her shoulder, marveling at the sensation of the soft fur beneath his skin down the length of her arm. Neither of them broke the silence, only pressing closer into one another. Nick curled himself around the red panda, folding her into his chest while both arms enveloped her soft frame. Her tail, still damp at the tips, curled up onto his hip so it sat on his thigh before circling around the rest of his waist, ending just behind his opposite side. Her cheek tucked onto his shoulder, just beneath his chin so that each one of her slowing, calm breaths tickled beneath his throat.
Minutes later, Skye finally lifted her head again. Her eyes had dried, leaving the rounded orbs of her eyes just sparkling up at him.
"How about some sleep, little fighter?" Nick whispered, seeing the fatigue that slumped her shoulders slightly and drooped her ears at the tips. Instead of responding, she just nodded her head with a little yawn. Before she stood, Nick scooped a hand beneath her legs and behind her back to lift her to his chest. Then, he rose up and cradling her, headed up the stairs to his bedroom, tucked in the upper hallway of the house.
Laying her down onto the bed, Nick stared down at the girl that burrowed down into the thick comforter of his bed. Her ears folded over goofily, muzzle rubbing down into the soft surface of his pillow while her feet gently kicked out towards him. "Come 'ere" she whined, arms opening with her fatigue blurring her judgment before something inside had her drop her arms back to the mattress. But Nick quickly followed her onto the bed and hugged around her frame to guide her onto the center of the bed where her cheek found his chest and his fingers trailed down her back along the river of her red hair, working out tangles as he went.
Drifting fast, Skye's last thought as her eyes sunk fully closed was, "Mmm… a cuddler."
~~~

"Mmmm… Mrrpphhh…." Nick rolled over in bed, finding a harsh beam of sunlight glaring into his face. He flailed a bit in the bed, grabbing for the girl beside him before he realized his palm crunched into the comforter and groped out the squishy fabric. Realizing she wasn't there, Nick's eyes popped open and sat up in bed.

Squinting into the sunny room, he saw it sat empty. His shoes lay tipped over on the rug, but nothing else seemed out of place. There was no sign of the red panda. His eyes knit closer together, wrinkling the space between them as he rolled out of the bed, musing up his hair with one agitated swipe through it. "Did she leave?" he thought, with a stab shooting through him at the possibility. His mind started to race as he absently stumbled downstairs, heading towards the kitchen out of instinct while his mind churned out the possibilities: Last night she'd just been upset, things happened too fast; Aiden had called, she'd reconsidered; she woke up next to him and flipped? She-

His mind suddenly stilled when he rounded the corner into the kitchen to find it already occupied. Skye, with her hair in deep red, wet ringlets hanging down her back turned at the sound of his footsteps on the final step of the stairs, but for a brief second he glimpsed her before she turned.

He caught the sight of her, from behind, bent at the griddle top with a spatula in one hand. He saw her long legs, coated in lush velveteen fur from her bare toes that shuffled on the tile all the way up to the curve of her bare rump peeking out from the hem of one of his worn undershirts. The white fabric hung loose on her, faded so thin he could see the markings of her fur up her back. Her thick tail, shaken dry, flicked behind her in time with her voice, softly lilting out a hum: "Some people live for the fortune… some people live for power… some people live just to-" her hips jutted out, "play the game!" Between lines, he watched as she expertly hooked her grip beneath the pan's handle, flipping the pancake in its center flawlessly. It clapped back into the pan as Nick sucked in an impressed breath.

Then, just as his foot squeaked onto the wood, she was mid-spin, head thrown back caught in the song, "Some people want it all! But I don't want nothing at all, if I ain't got you-"

She skidded to a stop, half-spun, staring at him. She held out one hand, hips starting to shimmy. "Some people want diamond rings… Some just want everything. Everything means nothing if I ain't got you, you, you…" Then, she just grinned. Her smile reached her ears, glittering there in the late morning's rising sunlight. Nick stepped into the kitchen, taking her hand and curling down to kiss her cheek, breathing in the scent of his shampoo in her hair and the butter of the sizzling pancake.

"You know, there's nothing sexier than a women who can flip a pancake like that" he whispered, smirking.

She caught his eye, looking up through her thick lashes. "You know, if you make me cum, I'll put chocolate chips in them."

Nick's eyebrow twitched up, a glint of mischief catching his eye. "Is that a challenge?"

"Only if you can handle it."

"Oh, you just asked for it!" Nick's arms scooped her up, pushing her butt onto the counter and sliding her back so that the shirt spilled up. The fabric hem skirted up her thighs, revealing more of her soft, lush fur from where it was a deep, chocolate brown to where the rust shade took over higher on her thighs. Then, the hem lifted over the mound of her sex, revealing the two fuzzed lower lips of her sex. Nick's fingers slowly glided up the length of her legs, fingertips just grazing over the very surface of her legs so that her fur merely tickled his fingertips. The silky texture of it still amazed him, seeming to kiss up to his otherwise bare flesh. The color, so deep and warm, fading into the bright shade of amber rust drew him in even deeper. His touch traced the curve of where the shades met and melded seamlessly from one to the next. He found his way up, following along the line of her butt, without touching the actual sensitive flesh of the rounded orb.

His eyes drank in the sight of her in his shirt. What normally looked like just a regular top, boring and necessary on him, suddenly seemed to be the best thing ever. The neckline, a slight v-neck, ducked low on her so that he could see the crease of her cleavage. At the same time, the fabric in its pale white, was so thin that he could see her pink nipples underneath it and the entire shape of her breasts covered in this ghostly, tease of a veil. The shirt spilled down, covering her soft stomach and edging high on her thighs, just sitting atop the sight of her adorable sex. The fur thinned down to a velveteen fuzz, giving him a clear look at the puffy lower lips of her sex with a swollen, eager pink clit sitting within the petals of her flower. He bit his lip, fingers stalling on her legs as his eyes just tried to capture the moment. On a normal day, on this counter, he'd see his father stressing over newly delivered bills, kneading his temples and grumbling at anyone that passed or his mother pouring coffee late in the afternoon awake from her reverse sleeping schedule and ready to rag on Nick for his life decisions. But now, now he looked down onto the counter to the sight of this beautiful red panda who spread her legs and curled her tail around him with a tug, "Just staring at me isn't going to do it, bucko" she reminded him, smirking before winking once and tipping her head back slightly so her hair spilled down onto the granite.

Nick grinned at her, leaning up once to peck at her chin before his attention dropped back down. He bent down, gliding one hand down her leg at the same time so he could lift one of her petite feet up and kiss just atop the curve of her paw-like foot. Then, his lips continued up, speckling the path up from her toes to her knee with a carefully spaced line of kisses. At her knee, he paused and doubled back just slightly, "missed a spot…" Then, he worked up. On her thighs, he slowed. The distance between kisses shrunk while his fingers started to caress along sides of each peck so that she felt her skin tingling across the surface of her entire thigh, building a road of anticipation up to the edge of her crotch.

Now, so close, his eyes peeked up through his lashes. Skye had arched her back already, thrusting her chest out so that he could only see her face through the valley between her two heavy breasts. The nubs of her nipples swelled up like blooming rosebuds pushing up to the straining white of the top. Then, framed between the faintly heaving shape of her breasts while her breathing hitched in anticipation, he saw her face. Her cheeks had bloomed a warm shade of pink while her teeth tucked over her lip and bit onto it gently while both eyes peeked down to him, bashfully hidden behind eyelashes.

Looking back down, his eyes faced the swollen, hot folds of her sex. The pink, inner folds of her sex opened in front of him to reveal the wet, dripping sanctions of her snatch that leaked eagerly. His nose twitched and breathed deeply the rich, earthy scent of her arousal, mixing with the sweet, buttery scent of breakfast still lingering in the kitchen. Then, his thumb traced around the triangle of her sex and his tongue followed quickly, licking right up the dribbling slit of her sex.

Instantly, a moan bloomed into the air, starting as just a light gasp as the teasingly close touch skimmed over her sensitive skin and, then, building into a full-throated groan when the heat of his tongue suddenly escalated it by swiping right into her needy folds. His arms slid up, scooping around her thighs while her butt started to squirm over the counter top. He held her tightly, pulling her up to his mouth while his tongue started to repeat the motion, lapping over her like an ice cream cone in the heat of the middle of the summer. She dripped like a cone, juices smearing over his lips as he started to close his mouth over her entire slit, slurping between her folds with a steady, repetitive swipe. He felt her tensing as her legs nestled up over his shoulders and her feet pressed into his shoulder blades. He felt her heels pushing into him, grinding along with her constricted squirming. Little, gasping moans left her lips, parted and hanging open through his thin glimpse of her face.

Heat flushed over her breasts while the shirt now clung to her heating body. Her chest heaved hard enough to bounce her unconstrained breasts, making them jiggle over Nick's head so that he could see a pulsating view of Skye's closed eyes, lip twitching, and red hot cheeks as her head tipped back and moaned right up to the ceiling.

Shifting, one hand snuck back from his grip on her thigh and left one hand struggling to contain her building writhing. He held her hard, the tight grip only adding to the intensity of her struggling, building orgasm. His tongue moved up, shortening its motions to just flick up to the little nub of her clit, now pulsating madly at the rate of her speeding heartbeat. Then, his fingers teased up to her opening. Just the tip of one finger rubbed to her, offering something to squeeze around without pushing it in. Her hips jerked madly, bucking to the stimulation desperately, but his grip held firm. Desperate, pleading whimpers began to leave her lips in the midst of her moaning so that her breaths became even less frequent, more violent gasping inhalations.

His mouth closed over her clit, focusing right in on the buzzer with fast, repetitive flicking that didn't flinch, didn't hesitate, didn't relent. He didn't pull back slightly, didn't let her pull away. His lips worked to suction him over her, giving her no opportunity to escape the teasing. Then, at the same time, his fingers suddenly shoved into her. Two fingers instantly curved into her sex, searching not to finger fuck her but just to press to the fleshly patch of her g-spot which he found when her moan escalated into a shriek. The red panda's body jerked hard enough Nick nearly stumbled backwards, instead pushing her into the counter slightly.

For a minute, nothing changed. His tongue worked madly over her clit. His fingers ground up to that sensitive spot. His arm held her steady. She moaned, squealing into the air and gasping for breath in between. Her breasts heaved and jiggled. Her eyes fluttered closed, peeking at him in bursts. But then, suddenly, Nick's fingers slipped backwards. His tongue didn't stop, but a hand slid down to his own boxers and shoved them down, revealing his jutting cock to the air. Then, shuffling his hips up, he pulled his mouth back and pulled Skye forward in one fluid motion that worked perfectly to just slam him into her sex just as her body bucked forward.

A thumb replaced his tongue on her clit, leaving it without stimulation for the shortest of beats before he was pounding into her. Her body slid on the smooth granite top, the fur of her back only giving her an extra smooth connection to the surface so that we was actually dragging her into every thrust and then bouncing her back up the counter with each one. Their hips were slapping loud enough that it echoed through the room, repeating it back like a backbeat as Nick felt her heat. She clamped down on him insanely tight, already so close to orgasm her breathing came in hiccups.

He felt his own quickly approaching, but not quite there, but Skye hovered on the edge, teetering with a final, hard slam forward that sent her skittering off the edge with a shriek. "Holy fuckin' God! Cum, Nick!"

His shoulders jerked forward, an orgasm suddenly hurtling at him as her voice spurred something to seize inside of him, sending hot jets of cum spurting out just as the red panda's sex spasmed madly around him. Her back arched hard on the table, forcing her hips into him while she squealed up into the open air, covering Nick's own, quiet guttural groan of pleasure.

For seconds, their orgasms stretched out together and hung through the air in ecstasy, but then they came crashing down with sweat dotting their brows and breathing hot and heavy. Skye slumped back into the counter, breathing in little bursts as Nick gently eased her into a sitting position so he could kiss over top of her now crumpled hair.

"Mmm… where do you keep the chocolate chips?"

~~~
So, as the chocolate melted into the freshly crisped, fluffy, buttery pancakes and Skye sat on Nick's lap, sharing bites of breakfast in between kisses they finally faced the day. Skye nestled her head into the crook of his neck with a soft sigh, tinged with just the faintest hint of sadness.
"What is it?"
"Well, I was just thinking about my mother. She always says 'Everything happens for a reason,' and I just can't seem to think what the reason for Aiden would be. Why couldn't I meet you first?" she asked, giving him a ponderous stare while licking chocolate from her fork with an inquisitive flick of her tongue. "Hmm?"
Nick chewed, mulling over the question. "Well, just look at it this way. Experience points!"
