Magic Love
Hey everyone! I did promise I would write a sequel to Magical Missteps If it became successful enough. I never anticipated it making top of both the Popular and Featured lists on the front page! I really enjoyed writing this and like before, this story uses the writing group challenge in it. I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as i enjoyed writing it! Yet again, depending on feedback, depends on if this will continue for one more sequel, or end here.

Hermes sat in his usual place outside the school of magic he was attending. So much had happened in the last year to him. First was the screw-up he made with a spell that caused him to be transformed into a Satyr like creature. Second was having that new form exposed, completely by accident at the hands of his teacher, followed by then blindly running through the school for his life.
Third, he had bonded with the amazing creature that sat next to him, Berojaku. Normally the black bunny was over seven foot tall, however he had learned in the first day that his size was imposing and scary to most of the other students. At the request of the professors, he was now closer to three foot tall and, somehow, more adorable to Hermes.
Lastly, Hermes had discovered that, through bonding with Berojaku, the two were expecting a child. The slight swell to the bunny's belly only confirmed this to the world. It wasn't huge, but it was there if someone knew to look for it. Despite the surprise, Hermes never found himself upset by that revelation, if anything he was excited.
The pregnancy, and changes in size, didn't mean in any way that Bero was less imposing. He was still as powerful, both magically and physically, as he was in his normal size. He was also still as protective of Hermes as he had been when they first arrived back to the school that afternoon, so many weeks before.
As expected, Hermes' magic potential had increased, not two or threefold as the mage had been expecting, but almost tenfold. As a result, the wand he had crafted before bonding with Berojaku, had exploded when he tried to cast a simple spell during their familiar classes with Headmaster Conell.
The headmaster predicted the wand would break, as he had explained to the class. Due to the increase in their magic, their first wand would not be able to handle the increase in power. He had expected it to fail as... spectacularly... as it did. The eruption of magical energy had caused the wooden desks to grow small branches, leaves and flowers, the glass on the light-bulbs to turn to crystal, and Hermes' emerald horns to fall off. They had quickly regrown over the next week.
The schools leading medical mage had informed him, after a brief examination, that it had become an augment to his original affliction. Every few months, he would shed his horns and new ones would grow by absorbing excess magic in the air or from his body. Berojaku had told him that it was great news, as the shed horns would be high in magical energy, and thus fantastic magical components.
Sadly that left Hermes without a wand for an extended period of time. The practice of wand making was a fine art that required time, patience, and for it to be done entirely by hand. Each student would spend days to weeks hunting for a piece of wood that they felt called to them. When Hermes returned to the oak tree he had used a bough from to craft his original wand, it didn't call to him as it had before.
Headmaster Conell had informed him and the class, later that day, that their second wand would be from a plant both the human master, and their familiar, selected together. It took some exploring by the two, walking through the woods, or diving into the lake close by, together to find a tree that felt right. Neither had expected to end up standing at the base of a tall ebony tree.
It had been in full bloom, and once the two had seen it, they hadn't even hesitated to look at each other to announce “This is it!”. They had chuckled before Hermes handed a saw to Berojaku. The bunny had jumped up into the tree with ease, reaching some of the higher branches quickly to cut off a segment.
The wood had needed four days to dry out before it could be used. Normally the drying process would take longer, up to a month at the least. Volvagia however had elected to sleep with the segment they had chosen, speeding it up considerably.
Hermes gave a sigh as he looked down to the wood in his lap. Sitting under his favourite tree, with Berojaku by his side, he carved the branch in relative peace. The other students barged through the woods seeking a familiar of their own, meaning they wouldn't be back any time soon. Not too far away sat the school professors around a picnic table. Pots of tea or coffee, some plates hovering just above the height of the pots loaded with sandwiches and cakes. It all reminded Hermes of an Edwardian afternoon tea.
The Professors had told him they enjoyed this time of the school year. Lessons were on hold, and the students were all out making complete fools of themselves. They relished sitting back and watching the events unfold from a distance. In fact every time Hermes looked to them, Conell had a childish smile on his face, even when he was sipping his tea.
This didn't mean the students were left to their own devices completely unsupervised. Most of the staff's familiars were in the woods with them keeping a watchful eye. A shadow occasionally rushed over the grounds, and when Hermes looked up, he could see Volvagia circling overhead in his full majesty.
“INCOMING!” the herbology professor called just before a spell whizzed past Hermes' head from behind, missing by millimetres. He looked up in shock as it impacted with the ground a few meters away causing a small explosion of dirt and grass.
“WHO CAST THAT!?” Berojaku bellowed angrily, getting up quickly and shifted to his full size.
“Calm down Bero,” Hermes soothed, grabbing one of the bunny's earrings and gave a gentle, yet first tug “They have it under control.”
“But...”
“No buts, sit, or ask the professors if we can have a drink,” he replied with a smile “you know we are supposed to do this together. Besides, stress isn't good for the kit.”
The bunny sulked a little, shrinking back down before making his way towards the table of older mages. Hermes sighed and gazed up at the canopy of the tree they were sat under. The gentle breeze caused its branches and leaves to rustle and sway, making the sunlight to sparkle around the edges of the foliage wherever it peeked through. Berojaku returned a few moments later with a cup of tea and a cup of hot chocolate.
“Thank you sweetie.” Hermes said with a smile as he accepted his tea. The lagomorph had fallen in love with hot chocolate after first tasting it. He had of course already been fond of tea, but due to its high caffeine content, had sworn it off till after the birth of their kit. It had surprised Hermes that he had done that, especially after being told by the medical professor that the same rules didn't apply to him as a familiar.
Hermes returned to diligently carving once he felt the bunny's plush black fur press to his side again. It was an absentminded process at best, mainly keeping an eye that the sharp whittling knife didn't meet with the the fingers or thumb of his other hand. Every wand was different and not just because of what it was made of.
Their length and shape would reflect those to whom they belonged. Some had twists or curves, some had bumps or intricate carvings, some were as long as walking stickswhile others were as short as pencils. Time passed on peacefully, the two of them sitting in silence as Hermes whittled the wood down once slice at a time.
They were only interrupted when Headmaster Conell had approached them. The shadow he cast caused Hermes to blink and look up. The sun was starting to set, the sky orange while the few clouds in it were tinted blues and purples. Looking around he could see most of the students trudging back to the school, most looking disappointed while others looked irritated or angry.
“Look's like you are almost finished.” Conell observed with a chuckle.
“Oh... um... yeah...” Hermes responded looking to the carved wood in his hand. It was about fifteen inches long, almost perfectly smooth and had an indent on the base of the thicker end. He smiled and showed it to Berojaku and gave it a few sniffs then simply nodded.
After enjoying dinner, sat apart from most of the other students, they had retired to their room. The bunny and mage found it difficult to settle though. It was like there was a calling, something they couldn't put their fingers on. Just before midnight they rose from their bed, dressed, and walked together out of the school back to the field outside.
The moon was full, the land bathed in its bright, silvery glow. Hermes opened his storage dimension and retrieved out the wand he had carved. He also pulled out a small knife, a white porcelain dish, a hunk of silver, and his two shed horns. While he did this, Berojaku scratched a magic circle in the grass, taking his time to get it just right, even though it appeared to be completely made up from some impulse he felt.
Using the knife, Hermes removed a portion of the bunny's fur and his own. He added the small pile to one spot, carefully placing the other items in other spots around the circle with the carved ebony in the centre. The two kissed lovingly as they used the knife to slice their thumbs in one, strangely painless swipe. They let their blood combine in the dish before Berojaku licked both wounds, closing them quickly.
Standing either side of the circle, they held hands together, eyes not parting from one another as they waited. A gentle breeze ruffled their fur and hair but didn't disturb any of the objects on the circle. Unbeknownst to the pair, inside the school, every clock struck midnight. Like one entity, they began to speak as if that was the cue they had been waiting for.
“Once were two, now are one. Never to part, bound by love till all grows cold. Bathed and blessed by the purity of the moon, we forge anew, stronger than before, with the same love that has bloomed unseen.” their hands moved to be placed on the large black bunny's belly, gently stroking over the soft fur.
The circle at their feet started to glow the same forest green that had come from them when they forged their bond so many weeks before. Increasing in radiance till the entire field was filled with the bright green light. In the school, those who were by the windows closest looked out in curiosity as to what was going on.
When the glow faded, the circle was gone, as were the items placed around it. Hovering at chest height for Hermes was his new wand. The black wood now appeared polished, a delicate filigree curling around the lower half made from pure silver. Where the indentation had been was now a perfectly smooth ball of emerald, caged in place by the silver.
There was no sign of the blood, fur or the rest of the emerald from the Mages horns. Yet as the two reached out to take hold of it together, they could tell that those items now made up its core. Looking from the wand to each others faces they both smiled.
“Two hearts, once apart, now beat as one,” they said at the same time again “Forever.”
They stepped together and kissed, only parting when they heard the sound of someone clapping. Looking towards the school, they spotted Headmaster Conell, Volvagia standing behind him at full size. They were both smiling while the mage clapped, and while his tempo was slow, it wasn't a condescending slow clap.
“At first I wondered who had slipped past the wards I put in place,” Conell announced, clearly impressed as he started to slowly walk over “And I wondered who was casting such powerful magic so close to the school. I should have known it would be you two. I guess even I underestimated the bond you two share. I know just how powerful the pull is when crafting your second wand so I won't punish either of you.
“Love is a powerful thing, unable to be bound by any lock, with the power to wound us to our core and heal that chasm at the same time. If any had a doubt about your bond before, you now hold the proof of it in your hands. It was beautiful to behold, I am glad I got to witness it... First things first however, you need to test it... you remember the spell I assume?”
Hermes blinked then nodded. It was a simple enough one to perform and was usually the first spell one cast with their wand. He gave Berojaku a look and the bunny let go, letting Hermes take the wand himself. The bunny took a half step back as Hermes looked over his new wand before thrusting it up into the air.
“Pompa!” he called confidently. A single spark burst from the tip of his wand and flew high into the air. After a couple of seconds it erupted into a massive firework explosion, sparks popping into smaller pops here or there. Hermes and Conell watched in awe at the impressive display while Berojaku just smiled, almost smugly, and crossed his arms.
The headmaster gave an impressed whistle as the display came to an end. Hermes looked to his wand then the other mage in confusion and concern. The first time he had cast that spell with his original wand, it had been a single burst, and hadn't even been very big.
“I... I thought I held back...” he muttered softly and the two familiars chuckled softly.
“If that was held back, I don't know if I'd hate, or love, to see a Pompa Plena,” Volvagia said, tail wagging behind him “It certainly was impressive.”
“It certainly was... Anyway, now that you have your new wand, and have shown it works for you, we should head to bed,” Conell said looking back to Hermes “While there are no lessons for a while. You two will need to practice quite a bit to learn control, thankfully I have an idea of just how you can do that... and alleviate some of the boredom of the other students looking for their familiars.”
The next day, Hermes was shocked to be face to face with, not one or two of the Professors, but three of them. They each informed him of what their roll was to be in the practice fights. Professor Valentina Alenta, the lead medical mage for the school, would be handling any injuries. Hermes' personal teacher, Professor Alviss Allectus, top of charms and simple spells would handle defence. Lastly was Headmaster Conell, who would be the only one casting offensive spells. Hermes had absolutely no idea what his speciality was, yet assumed that it was combat magic if he was their only attacker.
They had all agreed that, due to Berojaku being pregnant, the familiars would not be taking part, much to the black bunny's chagrin. He had insisted that he would be ok and was much more sturdy than they assumed. Hermes had told him to sit with the others watching and believe in him, and that if anything, heaven forbid, happened to their kit he would never forgive himself.
“No killing curses, no spells that could do serious harm,” Conell announced with a smile as he pulled out his own wand “Remember this is to help you learn control. I don't expect you to have any just yet, hence why these two are on my side. They will not cast any offensive spells against you. Do you agree to these terms?”
“I do, Sir.” Hermes replied, pulling out his own wand and gave a bow as was tradition.
“Very well. BEGIN!” the herbology professor called from the side lines. Conell wasted little time, aiming his wand towards Hermes.
“IMPULSUS!” a blast flew from his wand towards Hermes, who pointed his own wand to the ground calmly.
“Humus Murus!” A green flash emerged, a huge wall of earth springing from the ground. Ten foot tall and just as wide, it was way bigger than he had planned for. It was destroyed and crumbled when the offensive spell impacted it as expected though. Using that brief moment, he raised his wand pointing it at the opposing mages “Exarmare!”
A bolt of magic flew the short distance, impacting with a defensive wall that Professor Alviss cast wordlessly. The magic wall shattered in and instant, startling the three and hit the Headmaster making him fly backwards a couple of feet. If that was Hermes trying to hold back, the look on their faces said that they feared what he would be like at full power.
However the struck mage, Conell was laughing gleefully as he got up, clearly impressed and having fun. He raised his wand and made a large circle motion with it.
“Stella Offa!” he cast, a series of glowing shots appearing and flew at Hermes.
“Perussi Inanis!” Hermes returned, a large sucking void appeared, consuming the shots with ease, as well as some sections of grass.
“Connel... we aren't going to get anywhere with worded spells...” Professor Valentina protested rolling her eyes “Just throw magic at each other, that should work better.”
“True... sound good to you Hermes?” the headmaster asked and Hermes nodded.
“Sound good to me!” he replied and did just that, waving his wand to send a shot of energy at them. This time it was intercepted by Alviss' barrier, which he assumed had been reinforced. Conell in turn smiled and started throwing his own.
Berojaku watched with concern as they continued the too and fro magic slinging brawl. Hermes was having to cast his own defensive and offensive spells, putting him at a clear disadvantage. When Hermes had started needing to run around to dodge attacks the bunny gave a whimper. He wanted to get up and help. He was only stopped when a large scaled fore-paw was pressed gently to his shoulder.
“Shh, stay calm Bero,” Volvagia said in a soft tone “No harm will come to him. Conell knows when to push and when to back off. Besides... look at them, they are having fun.” when he looked to the two mages, he could see they had large smiles on their faces as they both were running around and taking pop shots at each other.
The other two professors just rolled their eyes and shrugged before walking back to the picnic table. It was obvious to them that Hermes had managed to gain enough control that Conell was playing with him. The two laughing as they cast raw magic back and forth between them, being careful to only dodge when it was safe to do so without injuring anyone behind them. After an hour they had calmed down and seemed finished.
“Last spells, Volvi, Bero! Get over here!” Conell called out causing the two familiars to blink before they got up “Full power, I'll throw one at you, you throw one at me!”
“B...But Sir! I...i don't think I could defend against a spell that strong from you!” Hermes protested, even the other professors took notice and looked up from their tea and sandwiches “A...and Bero...”
“Will be fine, trust in your bond,” the mage replied with a smile as Volvagia stepped up to his side. Berojaku stood by Hermes' side and placed one of his hands on his bonds shoulder “Here we go! SUMMA LABEFACTUM!”
The blast that came from his wand was imposing. A massive red blast of energy flying towards them. Berojaku tightened his hold on Hermes shoulder and the mage acted instinctively, pointing his wand at the oncoming blow.
“MURUS ABSOLUTUS!” a large wall of green energy appeared in the path, the spell hitting it and bursting into an explosion. Hermes panted a little, having used as much strength as he thought safe to muster in the defensive incantation “SUMMA CRIMEN!”
He hadn't expected the recoil from the spell which emerged as a large, purple ball of magic that sped towards the headmaster at a high speed. Hermes had winced a bit as he took the recoil which made his arms numb and his shoulder hurt.
“PLENA CONTRA!” the older made called out, making the ball hit a wall of energy “Wait! No! SHIT!” the purple energy turned red and sped back at Hermes.
“MURUS ABSOLUTUS!” Hermes called again to summon back the defence barrier. However on impact the spell broke through the wall like it was glass. Both could barely blink as Berojaku grabbed Hermes' hand holding the wand and funnelled what magic he could into it to summon some kind of defence.
It sadly wasn't enough, the spell exploding in a large blast when it hit the new shield and sent the pair flying backwards. They tumbled when they landed, falling a couple of feet apart. Hermes coughed as he slowly forced himself up, feeling like an all over bruise and was bleeding in several spots. He looked around for his bunny, spotting him curled up in obvious pain as the dust and smoke cleared.
“Bero? Bero!” he called then crawled over to him “Bero?! Look at me! What's wrong? Where are you hurt?!” The lagomorph coughed and groaned, opening his eyes to look up at his master. He held out the hand he had used to grab the mages arm to show him.
All the fur was missing up to his elbow, wisps of smoke coming from the badly singed skin which had gone crispy from the damage. Blood trickled from between the cracks on his hand where his fingers had tried to curl up. Hermes gasped as he saw it, reaching out carefully yet didn't touch it. The could hear footsteps running in their direction but they ignored the voices calling their names.
“O...Other than th...this?” Berojaku asked with a soft chuckle “J...Just my pride.” The professors reached them a few seconds later, Professor Valentina not even hesitating to start healing Berojaku.
“You tried to use Ultima Defensione, didn't you Bero?” Headmaster Conell asked as he started to heal Hermes “It isn't a spell that should be forced... it worked before you ask, or you would both be in a worse condition.”
“Th...then why is Bero..?” hermes asked looking at the lagomorphs injured hand which was slowly recovering, even with the professor doing her best.
“Because it recoiled,” Conell answered with a sigh “Because Berojaku was the one who tried to force it, the magic recoiled into him. In a human, it would have resulted in your arm being lost, as a familiar, he has some immunity to magic.”
“Th...the Kit?” Bero asked looking up in concern.
“Safe, the recoil just outstripped your natural defences up to your elbow.” Professor Valentina explained as she continued to work.
“Conell...” Professor Alviss finally spoke up slowly, voice ominous and heavy “We are going to have a LONG talk later about you nearly killing one of my students.”
In the end, not a single tear was shed between Berojaku and Hermes. They were healed up, and joined the professors at their table to enjoy some tea and snacks for the rest of the day. Professor Alviss had set up a crystal ball on the table. Through it they watched, entertained, as the other students seemed to bumble their way through the woods looking for a possible familiar.
All of them seemed completely unaware of the creatures that were lurking around behind them. Those creatures also seemed quite amused, playing hide and seek with the students, teasing and taunting them with obvious signs they were around. If they had just listened during the classes, they would have known that their forceful approach to the task wasn't going to work.
Some however had learned from their first day it seemed. They were sitting, peacefully, talking with creatures that stayed out of sight. By the end of the day, only the 'I'm better than everyone else' types were the ones who hadn't yet found a creature to start building a connection with. Hermes and Berojaku collectively rolled their eyes when they overheard them saying they were looking for something bigger and more powerful than Bero.
“They will probably end up with Gnomes,” Bero had muttered to Hermes “Or a Jackalope.” They both laughed heartily while the others gave them sour looks. Gnomes were not known for their power, usually very helpful when it came to building circles, but not much else. Jackalope's were known more for their ability to hide. Mages with a Jackalope were usually good sniper mages, but they too weren't hugely powerful.
“M...Mr Davies... that... Put that back!” one of the professors called and they looked back to see one student carrying what looked like a large deer skull. However it had sharp teeth, and an ominous aura to it which made Hermes' fur and hair stand on end.
“Why? Its cool looking!” he replied.
“B...Bero isn't that...?” Hermes asked the bunny who nodded and stepped in front of him.
“I thought we had exterminated them out of the forest,” He answered with a soft growl “where the hell did that Wendigo come from?!”
“We?” another student asked curious
“Myself and the others in the woods, along with Volvagia...” the bunny replied still eyeing the skull with obvious contempt and some fear “one thing you should understand is that there are many different creatures in this world. While some are seen as evil, such as the Nightmare, they aren't.”
“Nightmares only cause bad dreams because that is how they feed. They can eventually become Knightmares if they decide to be a familiar,” the professor from before added “Knightmares consume bad dreams, leaving behind only peaceful ones and feed off of the feelings of bliss they bring.”
“But Wendigo's are different!” Berojaku picked up again “They simply consume everything in their path! Kid... Put it down and back away!”
“Hah! Nah, I think I'll wear it just to scare you all!” he called back and went to put it on his head. Everyone gave a cry for him to stop as he moved.
“NOLITE MOVERE!” Conell boomed out, the student stopping instantly, locked in place by the powerful spell “Someone separate them... even I can't hold this forever!” Bero went to charge forward but stopped when Volvagia flew over their heads and two of the professors familiars ran forward. A Minotaur and a Gargoyle, they belonged to the groundskeeper and flight teacher respectfully.
The Minotaur was named Asteron, after the one of legend from Crete. Six foot three and built like a Greek statue, he was covered in light brown fur, with large hooves and horns that had small rubber caps on the tips. He was generally a very friendly bull, usually spotted around the grounds moving great lumps of stone or repairing damage to the lawns. The groundskeeper himself was a friendly enough guy in turn, and was always helping his familiar, usually by doing the light work while the great bull did the heavy work.
The gargoyle was named Abadon, white in colour with a mop of purple dreadlocks. He was fast when flying and usually toyed with the students when they were learning to fly. He would also catch those that fell off whatever it was they were learning to fly on. Usually playful and outgoing, his mage was the opposite. She was strict, blunt and to the point, but seeing as she had the unenviable task of teaching students how to fly on some of the most ridiculous items possible, it was understandable. One student was even trying to learn to fly a robot vacuum cleaner, much to her contempt.
Volvagia grabbed the skull in his front teeth, the eye sockets lighting up with a red glow as soon as he did. The other two grabbed the student and pulled him back towards the group. Headmaster Conell gave a relieved sigh as he released his spell and everyone watched as the dragon flew up into the sky.
With a great shake of his head, the skull was sent flying into the air above him and he released a great torrent of fire from his maw at it. Simultaneously four professors aimed their wands, and Hermes realised the poor thing didn't stand a chance.
“Prorsus Destruet!” they all chanted at the same time, their wands shooting out deep red balls of magic. When they impacted the skull, it gave off a blood chilling scream before it burst into fragments which were then incinerated by Volvagia's flames.
“If there was one... there is bound to be more...” Bero informed the nearest teacher “they usually travel in packs of three to four...”
“Volv! Go inform the others in the woods that there is possibly up to three or more Wendigo's lurking around!” Conell called to the dragon who nodded and flew off into the trees “Everyone else inside... Professors, I will hold a staff meeting after dinner.”
For the next few weeks the professors were all on guard. If a student found a skull, they were to keep their distance till it was inspected. Almost all of them were just that, a lifeless skull of a deer or animal that had been killed by predators. One however turned out to be a Nightmare, and was deemed, mostly, safe for the student to interact with.
Usually they slept during the day, hiding themselves in hollow trees or logs as a skull. They would wake during the night and seek out a sleeping creature upon which to give terrible dreams to feed off the fear it induced. Their sizes varied, usually no taller than five foot. Their appearance was usually of an anthropomorphic, dark black horse with burning red eyes.
When becoming a familiar however, they would sleep with the mage and the process involved changing ones dreams into peaceful, beautiful images. The Nightmare would then feed off the feelings of bliss instead, converting it to a Knightmare.
As a Knightmare, they would guard their mage, and those around them, from having bad dreams. Their appearance would change too, fur going white, eyes usually gold or blue. They would loose their need to sleep during the day, instead sleeping at night, passively feeding off of the blissful dreams of those around them.
Hermes and Berojaku both agreed that for the student who had encountered it, a timid boy who was usually the but of pranks and jokes around the school, it would be the perfect match. The professors were hesitant about permitting an unbound Nightmare into the school itself. Yet they all agreed it would be better than letting the student sleep in the woods to bond with it.
The trouble students also, eventually, all found their own familiar to bond with. The one with the largest ego and perception of self importance, unsurprisingly to Hermes and Berojaku, had a Gnome as his familiar. It had been a hard hit to the male's ego, although he still tried to spin that he was going to be bonded to the strongest Gnome out there.
Berojaku's pregnancy progressed at an impressive rate. His belly growing a little more plump day after day. Hermes had no problems with it, often reassuring his loving bunny and lavishing him with attention when he had the opportunities. At nights they would sleep together in the same bed, taking turns being the big or little spoon depending on if the lagomorph was his full size or not.
“It was nice to see everyone find their familiar,” Hermes mused one night. Everyone had finally finished bonding, even the student with the Knightmare. She was an impressive sight to see trotting around the school he had to admit. Pure white fur, deep blue eyes, a constant kind smile on her face and friendly greeting for everyone she met.
“Mmm, it all reminded me of our bonding,” the bunny mused, nuzzling the top of Hermes head between his horns “speaking of...” Berojaku shifted and Hermes chuckled softly, feeling the firm, fluffy belly press against his back, and just below that he was poked by something else that was hard.
“Aww, my big black bunny getting all worked up?” he asked, rolling over to rub one hand to Berojaku's belly, the other reaching down to grope at his hard cock getting a groan of appreciation in return “Your hormones starting to get the better of you?”
“Mhmm... was wondering if we could do a reenactment of our ceremony,” he answered, kissing at Herme's cheek “With me on top this time.”
“Ooo, kinky bunny, with how much you put out we will both be looking pregnant tomorrow.” Hermes replied giving another squeeze to the hard cock in his hand, a drop of pre appearing at the head.
“I guess it is a good thing tomorrow is the weekend and we don't need to leave the room hmm?” Berojaku asked rhetorically.
“True... you will be gentle with me wont you?” Hermes asked with a little concern.
“Till you ask me not to be...” the bunny replied, shifting them a little in the bed so he could kiss him. It progressed quickly from light pecks to much deeper. Unlike the first time, where they were both hesitant, this time there was no hesitation.
They gave off soft groans as they kissed, tongues entwining and rubbing against one another in their mouths. Their hands weren't still either, each had one hand holding the others head firmly in place. Hermes had his other hand caressing Berojaku's belly, giving it soft, loving strokes. The Bunny meanwhile had his spare hand holding his mage's rear, giving firm gropes and rolling the flesh in his large hand.
“Mmph, w...wait a second Bero,” Hermes interrupted, breaking their kiss and grabbed his wand “Tracet, Moenibus Privatis.” A glow came from the wand and he let it go, letting it float up into the centre of the room, the same glow coming from all four walls, ceiling and floor a moment later before it dissipated.
“What...”
“A little privacy,” Hermes said with a smile “Now we can be as loud as we want and won't be interrupted or have others listening in.” The bunny smiled and nodded pulling his mage back in to kiss again, his hand now moving to stroke and tease at Hermes' hard length.
Hermes gave a pleasured moan into his familiars mouth, trying to resist the urge to hump into that soft hand. In turn the mage returned to rubbing over Berojaku's belly, nails gently raking through the soft grey fur and giving gentle scratches to his sensitive skin. His other hand was still on the back of the bunny's head, caressing at the delicate fur of his ears and keeping him in place for their kissing.
They broke the kiss after a couple of minutes, the lagomorph licking clean the pre that had leaked onto his hand with a smile. They moved positions on the bed, both seeming to know what the other wanted to do, much like back when they had first met. The bunny grabbed the bottle of conjured lube from the bedside table and dribbled some on a finger. He smiled down to Hermes, who lifted his legs letting Berojaku to press that lube coated digit to his hole.
Their eyes met as the lubed fingers rubbed slowly around his entrance. Hermes simply nodded before giving a long drawn out moan as the bunny's finger slowly pushed in. It hadn't been the first time, and would definitely not be the last time that they were intimate like this. The whole reason they had the bottle of lube in the first place was so they could help Hermes stretch out.
Sure there were spells that could have simply numbed the area, or given him some added stretch, but it felt like cheating, like it would lesson the intimacy somehow. The lube was the best that they could create, having augmented it to increase the pleasure, lesson the pain and be super slick.
The mage moaned loudly and proudly as that thick finger pressed deeper and deeper. After his wand had broken, he had needed to be quiet or risk someone hearing even through the thick walls. With the spells in place, he could finally show how much he enjoyed the attention. All the time, their eyes never left one another, knowing what signs to look out for to ease off.
“Relax, master, relaaaax,” Berojaku cooed to him. He found, and started to press his finger against, Hermes' prostate, causing him to moan anew, pre oozing once more from his shaft “There we go... it's so good to hear you finally, like you are singing. It makes me want to be in you so much more.”
“Ah...ahhh... B...Bero... please...” The mage begged, reaching out to tangle his fingers in the bunny's chest fur “P...Please... more.”
“And more you shall have.” he cooed, squeezing more lube onto his hand before carefully pushing in a second finger. It had an immediate effect from his lover, making him arch his back a little and give a drawn out groan. There was some discomfort, there always was with this kind of play, but Hermes wouldn't have had it any other way.
There is always pleasure in pain was something the mage had been told so many times, yet had never really understood, till he met his loving bunny. Berojaku worked his fingers back and forth slowly, teasingly, their tips always finding Hermes' prostate. Each time, it sent a bolt of pleasure through his body, his needy cock jumping a little.
The bunny wasn't unaffected from seeing just what effect he was having on his lover. His own cock was fully erect, pre pooling on the head of his shaft, containted by his foreskin. They hadn't ever gone as far as they planned to tonight, the thought that he could finally be buried balls deep in Hermes exciting him to no end. He was patient however, knowing not to rush anything, this was meant to be about them both, about making love, not a hard fast fuck.
“Hmm, I think you are ready, don't you?” Berojaku asked softly and slowly pulled his fingers free. Hermes moaned out his response, feeling needy, and somehow empty once those digits were out. Wasting little time, Berojaku applied ample lube to his cock and lined himself up, cock head pressed to that hole, the tip of Hermes' tail tickling his balls as it wagged in anticipation “Remember, my master, just tell me, and I will stop, ok?”
“Yes, my sexy bunny, now put it in and show me how much you love me.” Hermes replied with a smile. He tried to relax as much as he could, knowing that his familiars cock was much bigger than his fingers.
Giving a nod, Berojaku slowly eased himself forward, both of them gasping and moaning as his fat cock head slowly slid in. Hermes grimaced a bit as it finally got in, it was certainly more than he had been expecting, his rear stinging in protest. He tried to ignore and hide the pain, not wanting it to stop, he wanted more, he wanted his bunny as deep in him as possible.
“O...ohhh M... Master you f...feel so tight,” Berojaku groaned out, shuddering as he was trying hard to control the urge to just sink himself balls deep. He didn't want to hurt him, he wanted it to be enjoyable for both of them “A...are you ok?”
“I...I didn't say stop d...did I?” Hermes replied with a playful smile “K..Keep going Bero, that's an order!” An order it certainly was, and it wasn't one that Berojaku was going to defy.
With slow, short thrusts, the lagomorph started to slowly slide deeper. It reminded both of them of their bonding, although with their positions flipped. Fluffy, strong, yet gentle hands held Hermes' hips, using them as a means to help the process go smoothly. Inch after inch of the big black bunny's cock sank into that tight yet welcoming hole. With each gained inch came new moans, new groans, new whimpers from the pair.
It took some time, yet neither of them complained once, till eventually every inch of the familiar's cock was buried in his mage's body. They rested there for a couple of minutes, Berojaku leaning down to kiss Hermes lovingly while the mage's tail wagged back and forth like crazy, tickling the bunny's sack.
Eventually they started moving, the bunny pulling out slowly till only his head was inside before pushing back in. As their hips met again, both released long moans of pleasure, stars dancing in their vision. The lagomorph humped again, then again, building up a slow, yet deep rhythm.
If there was meant to be pain, it was lost to Hermes. All he could feel, all he wanted to feel, was that drug like euphoria of bliss he was being drowned in. He knew he would probably be very sore the next morning, but at that moment, he didn't care. Every time their hips met the two sang out, with every thrust, they called out with their own song of love.
Berojaku began to build speed, gaining some confidence that he was pleasuring his bonded. The connection they shared feeling stronger than ever, resonating powerfully as time passed on. To them, time, the room, even the world meant little to what they were feeling.
Hunching over his mage, the lagomorph placed his face in the crook of the others neck. Hermes wrapped his arms around his bunny, gripping his shoulder blades and digging his fingers in a little. The friction of the mage's cock against the bunny's belly seemed to add a new wave of pleasure through them, forcing them yet closer and closer to their inevitable climax.
“I...I'm close...” Berojaku whined out, his balls churning, desperate for release.
“S...so am I...” Hermes responded between grit teeth “D...do it Bero, cum, f...fill me!”
Berojaku lasted only another two thrusts before he pushed in to the hilt, hard. He cried out loudly, as his cock released a deluge of seed, pumping thick, copious ropes into his mage's body. Hermes himself came barely a moment later, spurting his load between them and painting his bunny's belly with sticky, white streaks.
Hermes stomach gave a few gurgles as it swelled up a little. Due to not only being bigger height wise, but in endowment as well, the bunny had much more to give. He had proven many times to his mage that he produced a lot when he was at his full size, but this was the first time Hermes had been forced to take in every drop of it.
As their orgasms ebbed to a stop, the two went limp on the bed. Berojaku was still careful not to crush his lover, but they basked together in their afterglows, panting heavily as they lay there. Neither wanted to move, or felt that they could. Not that they had to, the last time only needing to eventually separate because they needed to return to the safety of the school.
Eventually the bunny forced himself up onto his arms, pressing his lips to his masters in a long loving kiss. Hermes certainly didn't reject the affection, reciprocating the kiss with one of his own. He wrapped his arms around Berojaku's neck and nuzzled into his cheek as the black furred male rolled over so they were on their sides facing each other. Inadvertently he pulled out of the mage's rear in the process of helping them both become a little more comfortable.
“I love you.” they said in unison then broke into giggles. Hugging closer to each other and kissing again before they looked down at the mess the mage had made between them. Holding his hand up, the wand returned to Hermes' hand. He pointed it between them to the mess on their bellies.
“Purgans Undam.” he said softly, a wave of magic washing over their bodies. It cleaned away the spilt semen from their bellies and Berojaku's crotch. It even went so far as to clean their bodies and fur of any sweat and dirt.
“Heh, I keep forgetting how useful magic is.” Berojaku said with a smile.
“Mmm, you always do...” Hermes replied, putting the wand away after dismissing the protective charm he had cast earlier. “And Bero... if I do become pregnant from this... you are SO not getting any sex till it's over.”
