Magical Missteps.
Hi all, a new one for you today! I have been wanting to make a Satyr for a while and even been wanting to make a magic based story for a while too. I put quite a lot of effort into this one, it uses a prompt from my writing group in it (Explained below) and I hope that you all enjoy it as much as i enjoyed writing it! Depending on feedback I get, I may write a sequel to this story.
This Week's Writing Challenge: "I'm only trying to protect you."

It had been an accident, a simple spell that backfired. Truthfully Hermes should have known better than to use wine instead of grapes. His roommate, a typical slob jock type that rarely got anything for himself, however had eaten the grapes he had purchased for his spell. With the spell needing to be done on a specific night and his project due within the month, he used what he had at hand.
In his head, it made sense. Wine was made from grapes, and grapes were what was required. However the spell had fizzled on his first attempt and then caused a small explosion on the second. When the smoke had cleared, the circle and the regents were beyond use. He was grateful that the rebound hadn't damaged or destroyed his wand. Having to remake that would be a major setback.
The next day he had admitted defeat to his Professor, explaining what had happened but not what he had changed of the process. The wizened old witch had brushed it off with a simple smile, saying that it happened sometimes if you overcharged the circle or had a flaw in one of the regents. She failed him, although it wasn't a down and out F. Instead she granted him a 'C' because, from what she knew, it hadn't been his fault.
It was a week later that the first signs of repercussions from his corner cutting had started to appear. At first it had started as simple headaches, then cramps in his feet and legs. He brushed them all off, thinking it was from his long nights studying and not eating or drinking enough.
However during a shower one morning he found his ears felt... bigger... than usual, and his body hair felt too sleek, too soft, too smooth. When he looked in the mirror he found his ears were indeed larger, his body hair darker. He brushed it off thinking it was his imagination or some prank someone was pulling on him and hoped it would pass in the coming days.
Sadly, it didn't. It in fact, got worse.
The changes were slow, almost unnoticed by those around him and easily brushed off by Hermes himself. It took a few weeks for a lump to begin appearing just above his ass, but it was easily concealed by his robes. When his ears continued to grow, bumps appeared on his forehead and his eyes changed, the pupils becoming rectangular and lying sideways, he had to start resorting to simple charms to conceal the changes.
He did a good job of hiding the changes, keeping them hidden while he wasn't alone. His body continued its changes, each one more distressing than the last. His ears grew longer and became covered in a light layer of fur, the lump from his rear grew longer, four or five inches in total, covered in a layer of fur. His legs had become in the same downy soft fur as his new tail and ears, his stance changing to be digitigrade with each leg ending in a hoof. The bumps on his forehead had grown out into horns that swept back over his scalp before curling and twisting out a little beside his ears.
That hadn't been the end of them however, his nose had broadened and flattened a little before turning black, his top lip becoming slightly cleft upwards towards his nose. Even his cock and balls had not escaped the changes, his balls becoming slightly larger while his cock was now encased in a sheath, it had retained its human shape although was longer and thicker.
What confused him most was what his horns and hooves were made of. Instead of the normal hardened keratin, they appeared to be made of glassy emerald. It confused him as to why till he realised that it had been the gemstone he had been provided for his magical experiment which had backfired months before.
His disguise charms had worked well for some time, and he felt confident that he could find a cure before he was found out, either accidental or intentional. However that confidence ended one morning during enchanting class.
Hermes sat in his seat near the back of the class as usual, one of the last to sit. As he sat, there was a startled scream from several of the other students as they opened their desks. Laughter erupted from the students who had usually were designated the troublemakers. It must have taken some time for them to pull off the prank, the desks of the victim students now leaping to life and trying to attack those that sat behind them.
What Hermes hadn't predicted was their Professors reaction. Quick, decisive, and with grace she had pulled out her wand and used a mass disenchant on the room. Without having time to pull out his own wand to protect himself, his own protective wards and charms were shattered in an instant.
He may have been dressed, but he was still exposed, and after the student next to him screamed out in alarm, everyone had turned to face him. His eyes darted about the room, going from person to person till they landed on his professors face. He couldn't quite read her expression, but could see some confusion and worry, while all others were filled with fear.
“Sh...Shit!” he screamed loudly and bolted from his chair. Despite his professor's commands for him to return, he pushed the doors open to dash down the halls, his hooves clicking loudly with every step.
“Hide, hide, hide, hide!” repeated over and over in his head. One of his ears twitched when he barely heard a series of spells being cast behind him. He pulled his wand out as quick as he could, waving it behind him and mentally casting what defensive spells he could remember. Several sparks went off around him, a long magically summoned rope deflecting off to one side and wrapping around a bench.
He was semi-grateful for his changes, his ears flicking every now and then to alert him of something that was coming. When he past a T-junction in the hall, he cast a defensive wall on the side passage, passing by as more spells deflected off of it, several students, and teachers, down that hall, probably thinking they had gotten a drop on him. What worried him was when the whole shield flashed red from the impact of one of the spells, a killing curse.
He finally spotted the doors out of the school and picked up his pace. He was surprised that they were undefended and unlocked. Casting a weak impact spell to push them open his eyes widened as he spotted the outside world. He surely could find somewhere to hide out there, maybe in the woods, maybe a garden, anywhere would be good.
What he hadn't expected was the appearance of the Headmaster. He had barely blinked and he was there, standing barely two feet before him. It had startled Hermes, and while he had tried to stop, there was not enough time to even cast a spell as he barrelled into him.
“FUCK!” he screamed as he was brought to a sudden and inexplicable stop. The Headmaster wrapped his arms around him tightly, somehow keeping himself standing on the spot as the altered student had rammed into him.
While Headmaster Conall Morgans was neither old, being the youngest Headmaster the school had seen in centuries, nor built, achieving a medium body structure even by human standards. He was almost unmatched with his spells. Hermes only realised that he had enchanted his body with strength boosting spells as he tried to escape from the tight grasp that held him.
They sank slowly to the ground as Hermes started to hyperventilate, panic surging in him as footsteps approached rapidly from the hallways. He continued to struggle, even as Headmaster Conall pulled his wand from his robe and pointed it upwards.
“Plena Sphaera Obex!” he called as others appeared. He frowned when a student threw a spell their way, it bursting into red sparks as it impacted the rapidly forming barrier around them. It took only moments for the barrier to solidify, going dark as it completed into an impassible wall that none could see or hear through.
“Calm yourself, Hermes,” he instructed as he let his wand go, leaving it floating in the air above them “You're safe, Shh, I won't hurt you.”
Hermes was a mess, eyes unfocused and darting around in terror, trying to find a way out as tears rolled down his face. His whole body jolted as a gentle hand rest atop his head giving slow pats through his hair between his horns. He shuddered as he gave a sob and tried to curl up, Headmaster Conall just holding him to his front.
It was a few minutes before Hermes had settled, finally managing to pull away from the older male and sit a meter away, knees against his nose and eyes watching his Headmaster as he, in turn, watched him in silence.
“I'm expelled aren't I?” Hermes asked, breaking the silence before sniffing and wiping his face dry yet again “You're going to kick me out... I'm a freak... something that you...”
“Don't jump to conclusions, Hermes,” the older male returned as he stood up and collected his wand which had continued to float in the air “and don't assume what I am thinking, I don't plan to have you expelled. I am however... disappointed... with you. You kept this hidden from us. How long have you been like this?”
“Almost half a year,” Hermes responded sadly “It started a few days after my plant configuration spell failed... I thought it was just some... prank but...”
“You continued to change,” Headmaster Conall finished for him looking him over “You changed one of the regents didn't you? What did you change? Can't have been the goat fur... or the gemstone... did you change the earth root? Accidentally use goat horn instead? Write down the circle wrong?”
“Th... the fruit...” Hermes answered looking to his hooves and the stone floor. Despite his mad dash, he hadn't scratched either, even though his hooves were solid gemstone.
“That shouldn't have changed anything other than the plant that you were to make, C'mon Hermes tell me what you did.”
“I... My roommate ate the grapes I had chosen to use... He had gotten drunk and just eaten them... so I substituted with some of his wine in their place...” He explained, eyes darting up to look at the older male. He looked stunned, eyes wide and mouth agape in shocked surprise. The headmaster heaved a sigh and rubbed at his face with one hand.
“While I commend your thinking outside the box while in a tight spot... I can also see how and why it went wrong,” he said simply and gave a soft chuckle “Hell I almost did it myself when I was in your place... almost... I assume you didn't stop when the spell fizzled. Stand for me Hermes... let me have a look at you.”
Hermes did so, standing on shaky legs as he stood dejectedly before his headmaster. He watched fearfully as Conall raised his wand and pointed it at him. The only thing that stopped him reaching for his own was the caring smile on his face.
“Scopum Censeo.” came the simple spell, a soft blue glow quickly enveloping Hermes as he stood there. He watched nervously as the other male walked around him slowly, giving soft, knowing hums every now and then. Eventually he came to a stop before Hermes and heaved a sigh.
“Metam,” he breathed out, the glow disappearing “Hermes... You... Urgh, if you weren't already beating yourself up in your own head id give you a whack... Why didn't you see a teacher when you realised this wasn't going to stop on its own?”
“I... Didn't want to get in trouble sir...” he answered honestly, which in turn got an irritated sound from him.
“You idiot...” he muttered softly “At least the school's defences don't see you as a threat... Sadly... there is nothing we can do... now it has finished, it's locked. Trying to change you back would only cause you pain... or possibly kill you. We could have fixed it if you had fessed up to it in the first few months but now...” he went silent, letting the implication linger in the air.
“I can't even punish you for this... that would just be adding insult to injury. I certainly am not going to add salt to the wound... I assume you have been using the Dissimulo spell to keep yourself looking normal hmm?”
“Y...Yes sir... and the Ignoretur charm to hide that spell from being sensed by the staff...” Hermes admitted “and Aliter if someone tried a detect magic spell.” He was rewarded with an amused smirk from Conall.
“I'll give you points for that... you certainly did some hard work to keep this hidden,” Headmaster Conell replied, still smiling “Maybe this can work to your advantage somehow... But I guess we will see... In the mean time I will need to talk with the other professors... for your safety, you will be coming with me.”
He clicked his fingers and the barrier around them faded leaving the two standing in the entrance hall. Around them stood multiple professors, and a horde of students. Hermes took a step back and gave a scared cry as multiple students all started throwing spells their way. A hand was placed reassuringly against his back as it was revealed that the barrier had not been dispelled, just made transparent as it lit up when spells impacted it and erupted into sparks.
The hand left Hermes back and his ears were greeted with applause from the headmaster beside him. The odd sight and sound stopping all of the spells being cast their way.
“Well done, well done everyone, that was some spectacular magic from some of you,” Headmaster Conell announced as he looked at the mass gaze suddenly turning harsh “Yes, well done indeed, especially to those I spotted casting killing curses and enslavement charms against a fellow student. The enslavement spells would have had no effect, not within school grounds. As for the killing curses... for those who cast those, expect a weeks worth of detention and a letter to your families.”
There was nervous mutterings from the students and the teachers looked around at the mass of them with irritation and some disappointment of their own. The warm hand returned to my back, drawing Hermes' attention up to the male beside him who just gave him a smile before looking back at the mass of students and teachers.
“Professor Alviss Allectus, meet me in my office in an hour.” he instructed then looked around the room “As for the rest of you... you all have other things you should be doing, get to it, shows over. Hermes, you are coming with me, stay close.”
He pulled out his wand again and pointed it to the floor beneath them, a spell circle appeared in an instant at their feet, glowing and pulsing with energy. Hermes didn't recognise the spell, but whatever it was, was powerful. He could feel the magic tingling over his fur and skin, making said fur stand on end like a static charge.
“Lanuae!” The headmaster called and the circle at their feet flashed, blinding Hermes for a moment. When his vision returned, he was standing in the headmasters plush office. The room was decorated heavily, portraits of formor teachers, students and headmasters everywhere, every shelf cluttered with various bits and bobs from past Headmasters of the school.
“Well that was fun,” Headmaster Conell said as he walked towards his desk, returning his wand to his pocket “Take a seat Hermes, I have a few things to arrange.”
“S..Sir?” Hermes asked softly as he made his way slowly to a seat to settle into it “W... why not just send me back to my room?”
“Hmm? Oh,” he smiled and started to rummage through his desk looking for something “You are one of my students, I'm only trying to protect you. Sadly several of your fellow students reaction was...shall we say... less than encouraging ? As such, your dorm room would not currently be safe.”
Hermes nodded a little and just got comfortable. He watched as the older man continued to rummage through his desk while muttering to himself. A small, cat sized red and orange dragon sat on the desk watched him as he rummaged. Occasionally it gave soft chirps and growls, especially when an object was thrown out of a drawer and hit him on the snout.
“Oh cool your scales Volvi.” He scolded with an eye roll and seemed to instinctively move his head to the left when a small fireball was spat in his direction. The dragon seemed to give a grump before it looked in Hermes direction. As if it was a cat, it wriggled its rear and leapt at Hermes giving a happy, playful cry.
Hermes gave a startled sound as the small dragon extended its wings and glided to land in his lap. The headmaster looked up for a second before chuckling, rolling his eyes then returned to what he was doing. Hermes looked down at the small dragon who looked up at him expectantly.
“User your words, for heavens sake Volv, you're my familiar, not a house cat.” Headmaster Conell said still rooting through his desk.
“You should use my full chosen name like I asked you to, but you still don't,” the small dragon accused with a huff then looked up at Hermes. It gave him a few sniffs before pressing its head against Hermes' chest “You smell funny like off magic... and nature... almost like the Satyr's that roam around the forest.”
“Well, given he has effectively become one, I'm not surprised,” Conell said loudly as Hermes started to give a few soft pats much to the dragons enjoyment “Finally! Here it is! Here wear this.”
Hermes caught the small object that was tossed his way. It was a bracelet, a small silver ring hung from it but otherwise it was unremarkable. He looked at it for a moment before turning his gaze to the headmaster.
“What is it?” he asked and got a chuckle in return.
“Its a defence charm,” he explained simply and chuckled seeing the confused look on Hermes face “It has anti-enslavement and anti-familiar charms built in, meaning the other students wont be able to enslave you... Sadly I don't have anything to help with their attempted killing curses, but hopefully the detentions will put a stop to them.”
Hermes nodded and slipped it around his wrist, shuddering as he felt the tingle of the magic going over his body. The dragon on Hermes lap sniffed at the charm and gave a chirp towards his master.
“Hey, I recognise that, you wore it when you bound me as your familiar!”
“Well der, something like this is required when getting a familiar, most of the time you magical creatures have more power than we do, and are always trying to enslave us instead,” he replied with a smirk “Anyway, Hermes... I think we need to get you a new uniform... that one doesn't fit you very well any more does it?”
Hermes blushed and squirmed a little, it was true enough, his tail was squashed uncomfortably into the back of his pants and due to his digitigrade legs they didn't fit correctly. He had been meaning to make some alterations, but the school uniform was enchanted to give some level of protection to the students and repair itself.
“We will also get you into one of the private rooms, Normally you wouldn't get one till after you find a familiar but these are unique circumstances... Maybe we can rush you forward to getting one, it would certainly help when people start asking stupid questions. Not that they aren't already... I'm sorry there is nothing that can be done about gossip.”
“Let them gossip... I doubt any of them will even get the facts right,” Hermes returned with a chuckle “As for a familiar... I don't even know what I should look for... a Satyr would be a little too obvious don't you think?”
“Well, there is a wide range of creatures out there you could chose from, not just a Satyr,” Conell replied with a chuckle “Hell no one thought a dragon could become a familiar till I tamed one, although I still don't get where he got the name Volvagia from.”
“You were the only human who ever wanted to actually spend time with me,” the dragon replied “it took you months of just getting to know me before you finally asked, no human had ever done that before.”
“When you get to your room tonight, look through chapter four of your magical creatures book, it has a list of all the requirements for a binding... I was to be teaching that class personally in about two months, but I'll move it forward, probably for the best really, would certainly calm down some of the more hot headed students.”
Several weeks later, Hermes sat on the edge of the forest reading through his magical creatures book. His lessons had continued as normal, mostly, some students had tried to prank him several times although none of them succeeded in doing anything other than having it backfire on them.
Hermes had been given permission by his teachers to go ahead and begin looking for a familiar of his own, ahead of the other students. The protection charm he had been given by Headmaster Conell was more powerful than anything he, or the other students, could conjure in such a short time. He had still been required to make one of his own, just as proof that he could still do it.
The main issue that Hermes faced was what to look for in his familiar. Every different creature had a different impact upon their master. They all permitted for more control in their magic, a large increase in power, a companion that grew to know their owners deeply, and a ground for which to build a career off of.
Satyr, for example, would help their master become more proficient in brewing and some of the best potion brewers had a Satyr as their companion. Dryads were more herbologically inclined, and their masters would always grow the best magical plants. Dwarves were masters of crafting, and despite being recognised as an independent species who ran their own businesses in the magical world, occasionally become familiars. In turn their masters would head down the path of magical constructions and items, such as flying brooms, magical weapons or even magical buildings.
The only option that Hermes knew of in the book that was not well known about was dragons. From what they had been told by Conell, Volvagia gave him a great increase in combat orientated magic. At the same time he had become a hoarder, although he didn't hoard nick-knacks or precious gems and gold, but books and knowledge.
The changed student heaved a sigh as a shadow fell over him. He assumed it was some of his fellow students wishing to bully him again. He focused a little on the charm on his wrist, pumping some magic into it to reinforce the protection spells. What met his eyes however when he looked up was clearly not one of his fellow students.
Standing above him was a tall, black, anthro style rabbit. The fur on his jaw, neck, chest, belly, palms of his hands and the souls of his feet was grey. He was reasonably well built, thin and muscular like he worked out but not to excess. Above each of his copper coloured eyes was a red spot of fur and he also had the red on his chin, a wedge on his wrists and two on each ear. Hermes could also just make out two on his upper thighs, barely hidden by his kilt and loincloth.
His ears were long, reaching down to near his knees with a large metal ring attached to the end of each ear. He stood roughly seven and a half feet tall, supported by a pair of large, four toed digitigrade paws. He was looking at Hermes with a playful curiosity in his eyes and a small smile on his face.
“Oh, your a human,” the tall creature said “I thought you were a new kind of Satyr or some mages bound. Guess that's why you smelled odd...”
“U...um... yeah...” Hermes replied hesitantly and gave a soft chuckle “Sorry if I disappointed you, I'm just a student who had an accident.”
“No reason to apologise, no harm done,” the bunny said before slowly sitting down next to him “A student hmm? What are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be inside at lessons?”
“It's the weekend, I wanted to have some peace and quiet from the others and a chance to read.” Hermes gestured down to his book and the bunny looked down towards it curiously.
“Hmm? Oh! Is it that time already? Conell usually warns us when you lot are about to trudge through the woods looking for familiars...” he muttered seeming a little fearful “Most of you students are too quick to cast and too slow to talk.”
“I'm not surprised... when my new form got exposed accidentally in class, the amount of spells I had to dodge was unbelievable,” Hermes replied with a chuckle “If it hadn't been for Headmaster Conell, I doubt I'd be alive right now.”
“So... what kind of familiar are you looking for?” the large lagomorph asked curiously and Hermes heaved a sigh.
“I don't know really...” he answered looking back to the book “The others all keep joking I should seek out a Satyr but... just because I look like one doesn't mean I should have one as a familiar.”
“You know,” the tall male started watching the other male “One thing you students seem to forget, or aren't taught, is that it isn't the mage that seeks out the familiar. You all think that you need to hunt down a powerful familiar, one that you want or think suits you, but in actuality it is US that starts the connection.
“It is why it takes so long, normally, for a student mage to get a familiar. We won't bond to you just because you are bumbling your way through the woods; Screaming for us to come out, throwing spells at us and thinking it's a hunting trip. Once you all calm down is when we start to come out and make our approach. We all also have our own bonding processes, Satyrs drink with the mage, Fairies play hide and seek, Dwarfs forge a knife or sword with them, Mermaids and Sirens sing with them. All different, all unique. Even I have a unique method, not that I have found anyone willing to undergo the process with me.”
Hermes blinked and looked up when a warm, soft, furry hand caressed at his cheek. The look on the black furry bunnies face was a warm one, curious, a little playful, but mostly seemed caring. The hand moved to caress at one of his horns, before it pulled away slowly.
“A...are you saying...” Hermes started slowly before the taller male leaned in close, sniffing at his neck and face.
“We are not supposed to be the ones to ask...” the black furred male said softly before rising slowly to his paws “But I have never really been one for tradition. If you wish to find out more, if you are who I hope you will be... pack away your book, and come look for me a little deeper in. Don't worry about trying to use your eyes to find me, or your ears, use your heart and you will find me.”
He gave a wink to Hermes before walking deeper into the woods slowly. Hermes watched him go, a stack of questions going through his head. The one that stood out most however was “Am I really going to do this?” The answer seemed to already be at the front of his mind and came so easily it almost startled him.
Closing his book, he deposited it into the small storage pocket dimension he had and rose to his hooves. He brushed off his robes and started to walk deeper into the trees. Giggling surrounded him from the trees, a sign that the fairies were flying through the foliage but remaining hidden. He ignored it mostly, somehow aware of where he was going without actually knowing where he was supposed to be heading.
Eventually he came to a small clearing, the ground covered in soft moss and in the centre sat the large black bunny. Said male looked up when Hermes walked in and smiled, waving for him to approach.
“Knew you would be the one,” he said softly as Hermes approached him “Welcome to my space, little mage. Here no one can see us, no one can hear us, no one can interrupt us.” he reached out with one of his large fluffy hands and cupped at Hermes' cheek again, pulling him slowly down to the ground with him.
“How...how did I... how did you... what...” Hermes started to question.
“Hush little mage, don't think, don't try to analyse, just do what feel right.” the other interrupted. Hermes nodded in turn and shifted to be right in front of the bunny. He reached up a hand of his own, cupping at the others face and pulled gently.
There was no resistance, the two of them moving together till their lips met in a kiss. From that quick, hesitant peck, it deepened. Their mouths opened and their tongues met, coiling against one another as the bunny slowly pulled Hermes with him till the mage was laying atop him. The kiss continued, not breaking as they lay on the soft moss that covered the ground below them.
While Hermes' hands explored the bunnies chest fur, the lagomorph's own rubbed up and down his back, soon slipping under his clothes to feel the skin of his back. It didn't take much persuasion from there to strip Hermes of his robe and shirt, leaving him bare chested, sat upon the others lap.
“Wh...what are you... you doing to me?” Hermes asked and the furry male under him chuckled.
“I'm not doing anything,” he answered and lifted Hermes arm with the charm on his wrist, the ring giving off a soft purple glow “Your charm prevents me from exerting magic of any kind upon you. This is just how it is meant to be, your heart and body are what are in control. It knows what it wants, what I want, what is needed to become my master. That is all part of the ritual to make me your familiar, only they can, or need, to be in control.”
Hermes groaned and nodded leaning back in for another deep kiss, shifting a little to give his hand access to the lagomorph's crotch. Said hand traced down slowly, tickling over the grey fur coated abdominal muscles to trace the line of his kilt wrapped hips before going lower to rub over his loincloth covered crotch.
Their kiss broke as the larger male gave a soft moan at the contact, Hermes moving to kiss at his furry neck and chin. It didn't take much encouragement for the mage to shift more as a fluffy hand moved to grope at the mages own crotch. Hermes gave a soft groan against the bunnies neck at the attention, he didn't even object as that soft hand started to pull down his pants.
He in turn started to undo the kilt around the bunnies hips, helping it to fall open and exposing the bunnies crotch to the world. What he found inside wasn't exactly what the mage had been expecting. Instead of a large sheath, the bunny was very human like. A large, black, uncut cock rested atop his plump, fluffy sack, although it didn't stay that way for long, quickly hardening and starting to rise up.
“Looks like we are both built differently to how we both expected,” the larger male said with a smile and chuckle, fondling directly with Hermes' sheath, exciting his cock free from its home. Despite being now housed in a sheath, the only changes to Hermes' shaft had been in size, and that it no longer possessed a foreskin of its own. “Not that I think either of us mind or that it really matters.”
Hermes nodded, letting his body take over again after his brief moment of hesitation. He moved down to breath against the others crotch, stroking his hands gently over that thick shaft before giving a few, careful kisses to its head. This in turn caused the bunny to moan out and shudder, hips arching a little to the contact.
“Roll over for me,” Hermes requested looking up at him “on all fours big boy.” Said male didn't need to be told twice, rolling over and heaving himself up to all fours. His tail wiggled in excitement, Hermes' hand never left the bunnies shaft as he moved, continuing to give it slow, teasing strokes.
Hermes smiled seeing that ass pointed in his direction. His own cock throbbed and bounced with his heart beat, a drop of pre forming from the tip. He let go of the bunnies shaft, moving his hand to his own and gave it a few slow, teasing strokes. His other hand gripped at the bunnies fluffy hips as he lined himself up with that twitching, inviting hole.
“Here we go.” he said softly, giving barely any warning before he pushed his cock into that tight, yet inviting entrance. Both moaned out loudly as he slowly slipped in, hips already starting to piston back and forth as he worked himself in slowly. Slowly, inch by inch, the mage sank deeper into his companion, both moaning out as he made progress till after a few minutes, he was balls deep in that fluffy black rump.
“O...Ohhhh... s...so gooooood!” the bunny moaned out, wiggling his tail against Hermes' belly. Taking a stronger grip at his hips, Hermes started to hump for real now. Making long, slow thrusts in and out which only elicited more moans from the pair.
Neither cared if anyone could see or hear them as they coupled like long term lovers. Hermes was doing as his heart demanded, making love to the larger male beneath him. Both revelled in the other, their hearts connecting as their pace increased.
Hermes raked his hands down the bunnies back, face pressing against it as he thrust. The bunny in turn pressed back against his thrusts, almost demanding him to increase speed and force. Yet the mage continued at his own pace, moaning and groaning as he did. Reaching under himself, the black furred male started to stroke at his own cock, groaning louder. His self pleasure causing his tail hole to clench and twitch around that invading shaft.
“G...getting c...close...” Hermes said sadly, feeling a little disappointed that this time together was starting to come to and end.
“S...Say th... say the words,” the bunny encouraged “L...listen to your heart a...and say the words.”
The words, Hermes had nearly forgotten the words he was supposed to say to bond a familiar. He groaned out and shuddered nearly slowing but as his mouth opened, they flowed with ease from his mouth.
“L... Life ebbs, l...life flows. Magic co... comes, magic goes...” Hermes started, thrusting with each word he spoke.
“T...trees grow, flowers b...bloom, y..yet love a...appears and binds forever...” the bunny added, shuddering and panting as he pressed back to those hard, deep thrusts.
“T...together we bind, together w...we grow,” they then said together, their chorus only becoming more and more perfect as they continued “Together we f...form a bond, unionised by the love in our hearts. Never to be undone, never to be intruded on, from now till the world grows forever cold.”
A glow started to appear from their bodies, starting as two different colours, green from Hermes and copper from the bunny. Slowly it merged, turning to a forest green. The moss around them started to grow flowers which bloomed, reacting to the pure magic that was coming from them. The purple glow from the charm on Hermes' slowly faded, the charms deactivating as the registered there was no threat.
“S...Say it b...big bunny,” Hermes said as he continued to hump “S...say the name you have chosen. S...scream it l..loud and proud as, together, we cum!” He didn't need to be told twice, both their bodies tensing up as he lifted his head to the sky.
“B...BEROJAKU!” he screamed as, in tandem, they reached their peaks and came. Hermes released his thick, heavy load into his new familiars rear while the lagomorph, Berojaku, released his own upon the moss on the ground beneath them.
New red fur appeared on Hermes as the bonding set in place. Growing on his hips and wrists in exactly the same pattern that was on Berojaku. Symbols that they would, forever, be tied to one another as Mage and Familiar. To them however, it would symbolise so much more than just their connection through magic, it would symbolise the love they shared.
They panted and slowly rolled to one side, falling to their sides in the moss. Hermes had his arms wrapped tightly around the bunny, pressing his face to the larger males back as they basked in their afterglow. Neither wanted to move or speak and risk ruining the moment or bliss they shared.
“H...Headmaster C...Conell is going to flip,” Hermes eventually said causing them both to laugh “At least you chose a better name than his familiar, Berojaku.”
The black bunny shifted at that point, rolling over and pulling Hermes close to his front and gave him kisses to the top of his head.
“Whether he approves or not, it's not up to him,” he said with a loving tone “we will ride through that storm together.” Hermes chuckled and nodded, leaning his head up to give the bunny a loving kiss to the lips.
“We should return to the school,” he decides with a sigh and then starts to sit up “We should probably bathe and get dressed first though...”
Twenty minutes later, Hermes walked confidently into the school. The pair had had a quick bath in a river in the forest before dressing. While there they had talked about themselves a little, and what Berojaku enjoyed doing. The lagomorph had explained he enjoyed making jewellery and working with his hands. Hermes deciding that a future in enchanted jewellery sounded like a good idea.
Berojaku hid in Hermes' shadow as they approached the building. The pair had decided to try to scare the others into leaving him alone. The red marks on the mage's hands would be obvious to all, and they were counting on it to draw attention.
“Hey there freak!” a voice called out as they entered the main stair well making Hermes roll his eyes. There was a group of them lurking at the base of the stairs, the usual gang of mages who thought they were better than everyone else despite lacking any impressive skill “We thought you had finally run off to join the Satyr. Get attacked or something did you?”
“Quite the contrary,” Hermes responded calmly as he waved them off “I was just doing some studying. I plan to pass my lessons, unlike you.”
“Hah! Looks like you got another curse! What, the first wasn't good enough?” another student teased, pulling out his wand and prepared a spell “Here have a new one!”
“Berojaku.” Hermes said calmly as they threw the spell at him. The large bunny appeared from his shadow in an instant. Placed one large hand atop Hermes' shoulder and the spell reflected off of a barrier that appeared at the same time.
The crowd gasped and shrank back in fear of the tall lagomorph who loomed protectively over Hermes. Before the group could run for it however, the familiar voice of Headmaster Conell's familiar rang out from above.
“What is going on down there!?” the dragon called, rapidly descending to land between the group. A half second later the Headmaster himself appeared from the dragons own shadow.
“Well well... why am I not surprised in you lot?” the Headmaster admonished the group having not even looked towards Hermes yet “I thought the last round of detentions would have set you straight, seems not... have another weeks worth. Keep this up and I will expel you myself.”
“B...B...But sir! H...He's the one bringing a savage creature in here!” one accused pointing to Hermes who, by this point, was being fawned over by his large black bunny. The headmaster turned to look at the pair, spotting in an instant the fur on Hermes' wrists and the matching marks on the tall rabbit. He heaved a sigh and rubbed at his forehead, Volvagia giggling at his side.
“Oh Hermes...” he muttered before releasing a semi-tense chuckle “Come with me you two...”
The walk to the headmasters office didn't feel as long as it actually was. Berojaku staying at Hermes' side the whole way, although he had to duck under light fittings and doorways. Everyone made way for them, Volvagia riding on his masters shoulders and seemingly enjoying the sight of the students that parted like the red sea as they passed through.
Once in the office, Hermes sat comfortably on the same seat he had sat upon not many weeks before. Berojaku stood beside him and they watched as Conell moved to sit behind his desk.
“We didn't expect you to start looking for a familiar for another week, you know how dangerous it is in the forest for young mages,” Conell admonished as he sat, his own familiar moving to lay upon the desk “Hermes, you have...”
“I didn't go looking, sir,” Hermes interrupted him catching the older male off guard “I was sitting at my usual place, in the field outside the school studying my text books. Bero approached me thinking I was a Satyr, probably thinking I had stolen school property.”
“Bero?” the large bunny asked looking down at him “My name is Berojaku Master.”
“I am aware of that, but Bero is just a little easier,” he replied looking up at him before returning his eyes to the headmaster “Anyway, as I said Sir, he found me... and well... he...”
“He asked didn't he?” the dragon on the desk enquired. Hermes nodded in reply and the dragon only seemed pleased by that. Conell sighed and rested back in his seat watching the pair. Despite his size, the bunny was completely non threatening. Seeming to be completely comfortable with being where he was beside Hermes.
“So...” Headmaster Conell started and finally broke the silence a few moment later, talking to Berojaku “You finally found a mage to bond with... about time. Even when I was here as a student you were on the look out. I was starting to get worried as you just became more and more disappointed each year when you didn't find one you wanted to bond to.”
“And in all those years, you were the only student, or even staff member who showed any interest in us. Even when when there was no possibly of any of us becoming your familiar,” the bunny replied with a chuckle “Aside from Hermes here that is... the big difference between you however is... his heart called out to me, yours never did.”
“Ah yes... the bonding ritual...” Conell responded with a smile “I know you told me of your requirements after I bonded to Volv, I assume you are ready to deal with the repercussions of it?”
“I am, Conell.” Berojaku replied with a smile and placed one of his large hands over his belly.
“Wh...what? Repercussions?” Hermes asked looking worried.
“Ah, yes, you wouldn't be aware just yet,” Headmaster Conell said “Bero here, as I am sure you now are very much aware, has a special bonding ritual. However, that itself is not the issue.”
“Master..” Bero said softly and knelt down to look him in the eye “I... My ritual is about love, pure, simple, from the heart and requires intimacy. I... urgh there is no easy way to say it is there?” he looked to Conell who just shrugged and shook his head.
“Say what?” Hermes asked cautiously “Wh...what's wrong?”
“Your bunny boy is trying to tell you he is pregnant now.” Volvagia announced and Conell gave him a swat. The dragon hissed in reply, Hermes' eyes going wide before he looked to Berojaku who just nodded.
“It...it's true,” he tells him softly with a slight smile “I am.”
“O...Oh gods... I... we...” Hermes stuttered and groaned placing his head to the bunnies chest “You damn bunnies and multiplying... why didn't you tell me this could happen?”
“He couldn't,” Headmaster Conell said with a chuckle “I hadn't gotten to that lesson yet, but they can't tell you what the requirements are of their rituals. They can give hints, and subtle nudges, but they can't outright tell you till after you are bound. The only reason I knew was because after I was bound to Volvi, I talked to may of the more rare creatures out there to discover them.”
“S...So I...I'm going to become a parent?” Hermes asked and Bero chuckled kissing him on the lips.
“No, Master,” he corrected with a smile “We are going to become parents.”
