Materia awoke in a clearing. She couldn’t remember where she had been, but she certainly didn’t place herself lying down on rocky ground. Adjusting to the glare, her amber eyes squinted to make out any significant details about her unfamiliar surroundings.
The woman seemed to find herself just by a secluded lake of some sort. From the abundance of greenery around her, with massive trees rising up to the skies, Materia could tell she was in some forest. The air was fresh and she could smell a sharp grassy scent with her head so close to the ground.
As she stared up at rustling branches blocking out part of the sunlight, Materia couldn’t help but ask herself: “What did I do last night…?” with hung-over regret. She had no idea where she was, which made her frown. Upset as she was though, she knew she wasn’t going to get anywhere just lying down on her back.
Pushing her hands down, she propped herself up in order to take a seat. The moment her fingers felt the rocks underneath though her eyes were attracted to what seemed to be a red, wet smear going along the ground. Too distracted following the direction of that red streak making a shape under her, Materia clumsily head-butted the person standing right in front of her.
“Oww…!” a shrill feminine voice cut through the calm, followed by a thud as the girl hit the ground from the impact.
Rubbing her forehead, Materia brushed her hair out of the way and looked ahead at the floored female. She was perhaps half a foot over five, with blonde hair styled into pom-pom pigtails that seemed to bob in the breeze; a young fair-skinned lass dressed in rags, her pretty countenance soiled by dirt and mud.
Materia felt bad. She was used to head-butting people in fights to end them quick; the accident hadn’t hurt her, but she wasn’t sure about the other girl; especially when she was significantly smaller than the 8ft. tall Materia. Immediately, the larger woman spoke: “I’m sorry, friend; didn’t mean to hit you. Are you alright?”
“Ow-ow my head…” the blonde girl whimpered still, rubbing her forehead in pain. Materia seemed to shrink in embarrassment, but her concern was soon replaced with surprise. Just as abruptly as they had met, the young girl hopped up onto her feet and spread her arms out, blue eyes sparkling with delight. “You’re here! You’re here!” she chanted while hopping in place, “It hurt more than I expected but you’re here! It worked!”
With the contagious vibrant energy scrubbing away the last of Materia’s unease, she suddenly couldn’t help a nervous smile. “I’m… here?” she repeated, making the blonde only turn from jumping to dancing all around Materia.
“Yes! It worked! I can’t believe it worked! I even used paint instead of sheep blood because ewwww but it worked!” the young girl celebrated, and it was then that Materia noticed an open, thick backed tome where the dancer in rags used to be lying down. A cursory glance down and around her allowed her to finish tracing the red paint with her eyes. The shape told Materia she was sitting down on some sort of alchemical symbol she hadn’t learned yet. Before she could even ask, the excited girl thrust a fist skyward and exclaimed the answer for Materia: “The summoning was a success! I have a guardian…!”
“Ah…” Materia trailed off, more questions popping into her head all at once. She extended her arm out and gestured in a fanning motion while emitting a nervous laugh, “Could you tone it down a little? My head hurts.”
“Oh!” the energetic village girl crossed her hands in front of her mouth, eyes wide open. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t even think you might be feeling woozy after that spell. And you even asked me if I was alright! Suh-so…” with a hiccup and a sob, tears began to well up beneath those blue eyes, “…so selfless…! Wahhhh! I have such a good-hearted guardian!”
As water streamed down the bawling blonde’s cheeks, Materia couldn’t help but stare flatly at the excessive emotional outburst. “Did I scramble this poor village girl’s brains?” she thought to herself, deciding to cut the drama by raising her voice. “Alright alright, enough with the waterworks. What is this place? Where am I? And who are you?”
“This is the world of Sizarra, you’re in the woods north of my town, and I’m Leslie and I summoned you using a spell from that book I stole from an old man!” the young girl answered like rapid fire, beaming after rubbing the joyful tears off her cheeks.
Materia was left speechless at such brazen honesty, but the information certainly helped her put together the fact she wasn’t in her own world any longer. She had been transported into another one altogether.
“I’m so pleased to meet you, guardian!” Leslie continued, “I hope you aren’t angry with me for calling you like this!” she joined her hands, kneeling in a begging pose.
Feeling awkward, Materia attempted to wave the girl’s concern off. “It’s fine, don’t wo- I mean, wait a minute,” she admitted to herself she was being way too easy going about the whole being-pulled-away-from-her-world part. “Why did you summon me like this?”
“Because I needed a guardian’s help! I read in that book that you can summon strong people to help you with your problems!” Leslie explained matter-of-factly, which only served to piss Materia off.
“Don’t just kidnap people out of another world to help you with your stuff, jeez!” the angry amazon balled her fist in front of her face while spouting her anger. But upon seeing Leslie prostrate herself while shaking like a puppy in the rain, Materia couldn’t help but soften her glare.
“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! I’m desperate! We need help, guardian!” Leslie didn’t seem to budge even though she was clearly scared.
Materia felt scummy after having let her anger get the better of her. She was still feeling a little queasy from her awakening, and learning that she wasn’t in her original world anymore certainly hadn’t helped her mood. “Look, kid, I don’t know who you were looking for, but I’m just a hunter. I…” she paused, looking over the shaking Leslie again. The poor girl was clearly inexperienced and she had been expecting some ‘guardian’ to help her. Materia didn’t want to get involved, but she couldn’t bear looking at that pathetic pose for much longer. “Fine, I’ll hear you out. Just quit bowing your head like that,” the amazon blushed, “It’s embarrassing.”
“Ruh-really?!” Leslie hopped up back to her feet, waving her arms with excitement. “Oh, guardian, you make me so happy! Please, please you must help us. Our village is poor. We barely have enough to live as it is, but Bolo and his raiders keep taking from us and they wreck everything before they leave each time.”
“Bandit problem, huh?” Materia frowned, crossing her arms under her chest while also sitting cross-legged. The dark blue triple-claw markings in her cheeks rose with a curling commissure. “Bolo sounds like a jerk.”
“He’s the worst!” Leslie huffed, “Last time he and his goons set fire to three of our cottages. We could only save one! At this rate there won’t be a village left to raid! We don’t really trade, so we have no money to hire bodyguards to help protect our town. That’s why I came out here with the summoning book. I failed to convince every group of adventurer I came across and even that wizard… well… I’ll return his book, I promise! But we really need some help. Won’t you help us?”
Taking a deep breath, Materia weighed her options. “If I help you, will you send me back?”
“I… uhm…” Leslie hesitated, averting her gaze, “I’m afraid I don’t know how to send you back. By myself, I mean! The book says you will go back once your goal in this world has been achieved.”
“You really are honest,” Materia laughed, “Could’ve just lied and told me you’d send me back after doing what you wanted.”
Blushing, Leslie looked like she had just been made fun out of, but through a trembling smile she dared to ask: “Wuh-will you still help?”
“Alright, Leslie,” Materia sat up straight, “Tell me more about this Bolo.”
“He’s a demi-god!” Leslie said, gesturing with outstretched arms, “He’s super tall, and big, and fat! And like, he has this really annoying way of talking. He eats like a pig, too! And he’s soooo cocky. B-but he’s really good in a fight… But you also look like you’re a good fighter, miss!”
“The name’s Materia. Materia Bannir,” the amber-eyed amazon introduced herself. She glanced down at herself, her attire belaying her office. Leather pads on her hips and a single shoulder pad of the same material protected her left shoulder. Her hunter gear wasn’t cumbersome at all, allowing her easy of movement while providing strategic protection the regular clothes it was worn over could not afford. “I can hold my own.”
“Yeah! You’re perfect, Materia!” Leslie surprised Materia with another outburst, this time the blonde jumping all around the huntress while inspecting her from head to toe, “I love your outfit! It makes you look even tougher! You’re so muscular. I bet you could punch that dumb Bolo out!” she giggled.
Feeling embarrassed at being placed under the scope, Materia tried to get some space by standing up, but she saw Leslie’s helping hand and took it. “Thanks,” she said.
“Whoa…” Leslie was left stunned once she truly understood how tall Materia was. The clear size difference of almost three feet didn’t seem to scare the blonde though, only make her jump again for joy. “You’re huge!”
“I hear that a lot,” Materia chuckled, deciding that the admiration was genuine now. “Is your village far from here?”
“It’s just outside the woods! I can take you there right now. Can’t wait to show everybody what an awesome guardian we have!” Leslie grinned. “Let’s go. If we hurry, we’ll get there before it gets too dark!”
And so, the two women started towards Leslie’s forest village. On the way there, Materia asked more questions about Sizarra. She learned from Leslie that she hadn’t ventured very far from her village, since being without protection was dangerous these days; especially with demi-gods stirring up trouble.
“Demi-gods. You keep using that word,” Materia stopped the explanation to ask: “What are those? You’re not actually asking me to battle divinities, are you?”
“Not really! That’s just what we call them,” Leslie said, “Really strong, huge people! Kind of like you, actually! But Bolo is even bigger. S-still, I think you can take him! You have to!”
Materia couldn’t remember ever backing off from a fight. Big, small, it made no difference to a huntress. She was actually itching for a fight, an outlet for the earlier frustration her day had started off with. Still feeling a little out of it however, Materia couldn’t wait to make it to the village and at least get a good night’s rest. The rocks back in the clearing hadn’t agreed with her back.
When they finally arrived to their destination, Materia was awestruck. Leslie’s town didn’t even look like one. It was quite impactful to see so many ruined houses, many of them razed to the ground. Only a handful cottages and sheds remained surrounded by the tall trees of the forest, with the largest construction appearing to be a rundown tavern. Both girls headed for that one.
“I’m back, everyone!” Leslie announced loudly and brightly to contrast the quiet, dusky ambience of the seemingly empty tavern. Materia had to duck under the seven feet tall entrance, finding the silence quite unnerving.
“Hey Leslie, are you sure there’s anybody left in…?” Materia stopped abruptly when she felt her right foot stepping on squishy ground. The floor was made of dirt as far as she could see, but there wasn’t any humidity around right now. Glancing down, Materia realized she had dug a heel down on some poor villager’s back. “Ack! Sorry about that!”
“Luh-lord take me now…” the middle-aged, graying man stretched out an arm dramatically, though his jubilant face seemed to be at odds with his situation. A frowning Materia considered delivering a swift kick before she was interrupted by her escort.
“Oh! You found the mayor! Yay!” Leslie turned around to clap, hurrying over to help the mayor up as Materia took a few cautionary steps backwards.
“Leslie…” the mayor sputtered, dusting himself while side-glancing at one of his villagers, “When you left we feared you might have been caught by Bolo’s raiders. It’s a relief to see you are okay! Where have you been, child?”
“Thanks for the concern, but I’m alright! I went out to get help, and I got it! We now have a guardian!” Leslie raised her voice again, beaming radiantly while gesturing towards Materia, who uneasily offered a wave down at the man who was even shorter than Leslie was.
“Is it true?” a different voice made Materia look to the side, watching a small shadow approach as the taverns’ lanterns were lit up. “A guardian?” another voice brought Materia’s eyes down to the villagers that seemed to be coming out of the woodwork. No less than a dozen new people had emerged before the amazon; all of them around five-foot-tall, which made Leslie an outlier in terms of size; even if Materia was the clear winner in that department.
“Is this everyone here?” Materia asked aloud, deciding to sit down on the ground so that she didn’t have to strain her neck looking down. The mayor nodded.
“With our buildings being ransacked constantly, we’ve been unable to repair our homes. Many have left, either to escape or to try to find help to our raider problem. But I haven’t heard from any of them for weeks, even months in some cases. I’m afraid we’re all that’s left of this humble village, ma’am…” the mayor explained, looking quite weak as he spoke. In fact, none of the villagers seemed okay; all of them in a state of malnourishment of varying levels.
Materia learned that Bolo would attack them at irregular intervals, but always demanding more food for his starving men. They had no idea when the next raid would happen, but given their little numbers all the villagers always hid at the tavern in case wild beasts showed up at night. If anything, their predicament had served to give the town a strong sense of community.
Leslie continued for the mayor after helping him sit down, “Materia, it’s horrible. They barely let us have any food. It’s bad enough Bolo eats for five people, but he takes all our food for his men, more than they could even need! And they keep demanding more and more. We barely get enough ourselves! We can’t afford any protection; nobody wants to bother with a little village like ours. But we refuse to lose hope! Or at least, I had… but then I met you, and I know you’re kind!” a smile curled Leslie’s lips, “You wouldn’t have heard us out if you weren’t. Please, again, you have to help us!”
“I’m afraid we don’t have much to offer but what little hospitality our humble town can provide, ma’am,” the mayor forced a smile of his own, wanting to sweeten the empty pot by any means necessary.
“Way to put a gal on the spot…” Materia thought to herself, feeling each pair of eyes piercing holes in her soul. If there was one thing she couldn’t stand it was bullies that took things too far. Whether it was her fate to be a guardian or not, the huntress loathed the situation these little people were in more than she hated her own sad state of affairs; she couldn’t find it in herself to abandon them in their time of need. With her convictions refueled, Materia offered a close-eyed, solemn head bow. “You can count on me. I’ll take care of those jerks,” she promised. And the second she uttered that sentence, the tired villagers all exploded in joyful cheer.
“I knew it! I knew you wouldn’t abandon us, Materia!” Leslie swooned with delight, scooting closer to their guardian, “If there’s anything I can do, just ask! I’m here to serve our champion.”
Tilting her head up and opening one eye, Materia allowed herself a roguish little smile. “Er, a bed would be great if you have one. I’ve been up all day and I don’t think I would be able to move the way I want without getting a good night’s sleep.”
“O-oh… right!” Leslie immediately perked up, “Of course. I forget the ritual must’ve made you tired. I know where you can stay! Is it alright if I bring her there, Mr. Mayor?”
“Please do. Although we can’t do much, I was hoping to celebrate with a modest banquet, but we can’t force our gracious guest to forgo the rest she needs,” the mayor agreed, “I’ll leave her accommodations to you then, Leslie.”
Moving around the precariously standing village was simple enough. Everything was close, so even with her larger stride Materia didn’t have to walk long to make it to the shack Leslie was guiding her to. The entrance was even lower than the tavern’s, forcing the 8ft. tall amazon to crouch her way in, already lamenting the fact she had been summoned to a world where everything was small to her. And the point was further driven home when Leslie showed her the bed she wasn’t going to be fitting into.
“Don’t worry! I’ll just…” Leslie grunted as she labored to push another bed into the shack from the outside. With Materia’s help, they got it inside in half the time. “Thanks. Whew! You sure are strong!”
“Thanks for doing all this, Leslie. You guys are really having it rough,” Materia said, “You really weren’t lying when you said you needed my help. Now I know why you were so desperate to pull off a crazy stunt like summoning someone from another world.”
“I’m just glad it was you we were stuck with!” Leslie grinned while making the bed by combining the two. She laid out the blankets across both mattresses and put many pillows at the center for Materia. “I realize it’s not much, but please make yourself at home!”
Materia was starting to feel a little guilty for having asked for a bed when these people hardly had any comforts to begin with. But she truly felt exhausted. Leslie must have hit the nail on the head when she connected the summoning to her sudden tiredness. Stamina was never an issue with a natural warrior like herself, but perhaps her body was still adjusting to this new world. If she was truly going to aid these poor people, Materia wanted to be in tip top shape. “I’ll do you proud,” she said from the bed, lifting an arm in a curling flex.
Amazed at the rising biceps on Materia’s arms, Leslie covered her blushing cheeks with her hands and giggled. “Thank you! Thank you so much. Please have a great sleep! I’ll be with the others. We’ll surprise you with a huge breakfast tomorrow…! Maybe I can even show you around and…”
Leslie’s words seemed to melt together into an incoherent string. The moment Materia began to relax against the soft mattresses and her head touched one of the pillows was when her consciousness began to fade. Leslie’s image was left only in the amazon’s mind, babbling away in the night. With her feet dangling over the combined bed, it wasn’t long before Materia started snoozing away…
Morning came by in a flash for Materia, who woke up under the cover of three blankets she didn’t remember throwing on. “It was humid yesterday, wasn’t it?” she tried to think back, but her groggy mind urged her to not use it so early in the morning. Leslie must’ve put them on her.
The sun had just begun rising outside; Materia could tell as much from the soft light at the foot of the door to the shack she had been so graciously lent the night before. She kicked the blankets off and her feet onto the floor, ready to tackle her first morning in Sizarra.
Leslie was waiting outside to greet Materia, the young village girl carrying a wicker basket with a loose collection of rolling chestnuts and freshly picked mushrooms. “You’re awake!”
“Good morning, Leslie,” Materia said after crouching through the shack’s exit. “You’re awfully chipper even this early.”
“I’m always full of energy!” the blonde giggled, looking up at the groggy amazon, “We’ve been preparing breakfast at the tavern for everyone, but we needed more ingredients since our pantries aren’t very full right now. Look! I was lucky and found some chestnuts in the forest! I had to fight a squirrel for the last two, but there were three so I let it have one!”
With a wry smile, Materia gave Leslie a nod and followed her to the tavern, thinking she really could go for some breakfast. She also thought that these people were in desperate need to secure more food. Hating the idea of being a freeloader even in her situation as a summoned warrior, she made a mental note to go hunt for some meat later in the day. It was the least a strong fighter like she could do.
Surprisingly enough, Materia found herself at the center of a table with a very nice spread.
There were omelets in every plate, which surprised her since she had expected to hear the clucking of hens; but she later learned every last bird had already been confiscated by the raiders. This was likely their last batch.
Sautéed vegetables and grilled nuts had been combined into portioned salads, but the only one who had received a ration of mouth-watering, sizzling bacon had been Materia.
The villagers didn’t allow her to feel guilty about it. They insisted she eat since now that they felt more at ease with her around, they wouldn’t be afraid to go out and hunt for more ingredients. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day, and the amazon didn’t want to be rude so she dug in, earning herself a cheer from Leslie and the others.
A lively ambience broke the ice immediately, people chatting each other up over their shared meal. Materia learned of the three families left which comprised the big unit now gathered at the tavern. They had all learned to get by with their rudimentary skills, as most of the specialists had left on journeys or otherwise abandoned their remotely located forest village. She also learned that Leslie didn’t have any relatives left, and had been taken in by the mayor’s family; which had instilled a sense of gratitude into the young girl.
These were all good people. Materia felt like they had been dealt a terrible hand being so far away from the rest of civilization and with little in the way of protection. If she hadn’t been convinced before, Materia was now sure she wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her new friends. And she would soon get her chance.
Before she could announce her willingness to assist in their hunting activities, the ground under her began to vibrate. Loud yelling coming from outside cut the cheer and joy of the tavern short, prompting the relaxed villagers to hug one another in fear. The mayor held his wife and five-year-old son while addressing Materia: “I thought they weren’t going to come today. I thought we’d be able to pay you some more hospitality ma’am…”
“HEY! WHERE’S EVERYONE?!” a gruff voice could be heard roaring through the air, “WE’RE HUNGRY!”
“Mr. Mayor, don’t be like that!” Leslie didn’t bother keeping quiet, “We were having such a good time… but they had to ruin it. I was gonna show you my favorite spot, Materia but they just… Ooooh! This makes me furious! That’s it. I’m going to…”
Materia intercepted Leslie before she could even stand up, pressing her down with a hand on her head. Wiping some crumbs off her lips, Materia smiled without looking at the blonde. “You stay here with the others, Leslie. I’m going to say hi.”
“Materia…” Leslie blushed as she watched that tall woman stretch up to her imposing height. The amazon grinned, stretching her arms and flexing like someone about to run a marathon. “Are you really going to take them on your own?”
“That’s what you summoned me here for, remember?” With a hand on her shoulder, Materia made the bones in her neck crack, her grin only growing wide. “Plus, after sleeping and eating, I feel like I could take on all of Sizarra.” She boasted, smashing a fist into her palm before she started walking out towards the exit of the tavern.
The star-eyed Leslie couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Materia looked like an entirely different person now; was the sleep and food really all she had needed? “So confident… so cool!” the village girl closed her hands, balling them into fists. She was going to cheer Materia on; that’s the least she could do.
Immediately assessing the situation outside, Materia came out into quite the sight as she squeezed herself out of the tavern. Bright sunlight illuminated the village, a contrast of its current situation. There were dozens of burly men in ragged clothes giving her the evil eye, although only one of them stuck out size-wise. He was also thicker than the others, with a huge gut and meaty pectorals mostly revealed by an open black jacket. Without sleeves, his muscular arms were in full view. “That must be Bolo…” the amazon thought as she was given pause by his 10ft. of height; few were the men that could meet in her height back in her world.
“Wot’s this?” the giant of a man spoke with a deep, rolling drawl. “No one told ‘ol Bolo thur woz a doll ‘round ‘ere!”
Laughter and cheers were followed by a number of catcalls among the concurrence of raiders.
Materia stared daggers at Bolo. They hadn’t even introduced each other and she was already instantly sickened by the guy. He and his men shared the same unkempt look, with Bolo showing off a shaggy beard with a thick moustache. She was going to enjoy punching that toothy grin off his fat face. “I know you’re all here for these poor villagers’ food. Don’t you think you’ve taken enough already?”
“Wot are you talkin’ about, sweetheart?” Bolo boomed, leaning forwards with his slacking jaw and an exaggerate curve of his right eyebrow, “Mah men’re the toughest of the toughest! ‘n they need good food, see? I need good food. We jus’ tryin’ not to go hungry, ya understand?”
“Why don’t you get your food elsewhere, then?” Materia asked, but the collective laughter she received in response couldn’t have been louder.
“I dunno who ya are, sweet’ums, but ya dim in the head!” Bolo continued, pointing dramatically at the tavern behind her, “We’re fighters! We take care o’ the beasties round ‘ere ‘n whatnot. But even wild animals ain’t enough for mah troops sometimes! They get real hungry, I know I do, hah!” he emphasized with a strike to his taut belly.
Materia frowned in disgust, “And I say you’ve taken enough! Now you better leave these people alone, tubby, or you’ll have to answer to me!” she shouted, pointing a thumb back at herself while resting a hand on her hip. But before she could hold that defiant pose for too long, she heard Leslie’s voice crack up into a scream.
“Materia, look out!”
Too late did the amazon react to the warning and she turned her face just in time to receive the strike from an upwards swinging club. Materia was hit hard enough to make her look skyward, the force of the blow making her stumble some paces to the side.
“Know your place, ya tall bitch!” the mook who had snuck up started another round of laughter as he raised his club victoriously. His small size had allowed him a great advantage sneaking up on Materia. “No one tells the boss what to do!”
Humiliated by her carelessness but saved by her sturdy body, Materia clenched her teeth and forced her stumble to end. The hit that should have floored her had drawn blood on her left temple; and it would’ve rightly led to major brain injury on a smaller person. The large woman however remained on her feet, stomping the ground to regain her balance.
“Hah! Want another?” the club-wielder threatened, smacking his weapon on his palm. He admired his work on the trickling blood and her messy hair. The impact had forced Materia’s ponytail to come undone, so her voluminous mane of jet black hair had violently been moved to the side, her bangs covering her forehead and most of her eyes as a result. The attacker never saw those amber eyes lit up like furnaces barely containing the flames of ire.
Laughter came to an end when the clubber ended with his face eating dirt. Materia moved with great speed and agility, using the weight of the raider’s own weapon to slam him down along with it. In one clean movement she had incapacitated her assailant. And turning around to the now deadly silent group, Materia whipped her hair around and spat down at the ground in front of the large group of men. “Want another?” she taunted while beckoning with a hand gesture.
“HAH! Naow dat’s a babe after me own heart!” Bolo didn’t seem as insulted as the rest of his crew, but he certainly didn’t appear ready to surrender either. “Treat the lady all delicate-like ‘ey, boys? Double rations fer whoever makes her kiss mah feet!”
Raider weapons of varying sizes and lethality were readied at once. They knew their boss’ code for ‘maim but not too much’, already. Spurred on by the promise of more food, Materia saw the group suddenly charging at her all at once.
A trick Materia had learned hunting for food in the wilds was that a group ambush was always around the corner. Packs of wild animals, however, are always coordinated. Bolo’s raiders put on a great ferocious act, but their flailing, unrefined moves reeked of inexperience and desperation. If she wasn’t being attacked by so many at once, the female warrior would have felt insulted.
“What the?!” the first of the hatchet wielding raiders to attempt a swing got tripped and elbowed in the back in mid-air. Materia side-stepped the swing of another club and spun herself into a full-circle that ended kicking the second aggressor into an incoming trio.
“Five down…” Materia’s eyes darted around the battlefield as she focused on dodging the barrage of incoming attacks, “…dozens to go.”
“All at once, boys! Don’t let this cocky plus-sized lass get the better of ya!”
Four raiders jumped at Materia from the front, giving her little time to assess the type and range of weapon they were wielding. She surprised two of them with a bold step forwards, thrusting her palms into their faces. Her long stride allowed her to avoid the third raider’s chipped blade, but the fourth’s spiked mace struck true.
“Got’er! She ain’t invincible, lads!” the mace-wielder’s victory was short lived, another swift round-house sending him hurtling through the air. With a painful grunt, Materia leapt away from the two floored raiders to create some distance between her and the enraged mob.
“I’m getting sloppy. That sneak attack hurt…” Materia dragged a knuckle over her bloody temple, clenching her teeth angrily. “Better finish this quick.”
“GOT’CHA, BITCH!” a sudden scream coming from the trees above alerted Materia, whose eyes widened with the image of another raider plunging down for a strike of his lance. Fortunately, Materia was a quick learner and wouldn’t fall for the same trick twice.
She changed her stance with fancy footwork and crossed her arms around the shaft of the lance before it struck the ground. Her biceps bulged when she tensed up, flimsy wood snapping under pressure as she broke the raider’s weapon in half. A swift axe kick then put the grounded raider out of commission.
Materia shook her head, whipping her wild hair back so that it wouldn’t get in the way. She gripped the remains of the lance in her grip. “I can extend my attack range a little with these…” she entertained, but didn’t have much time to strategize when the roaring, hungry men came after her.
Her enemies were easy enough to take out. But their sheer numbers were overwhelming the amazon. With her larger size and strength, Materia had the upper hand in every confrontation, but try as she might, she couldn’t perfectly dodge all incoming blows.
A nip here, a strike there, her hunting gear didn’t seem like it was going to last. Even with twenty men left unconscious, the fight kept going on. Materia had gravely underestimated the raiders’ numbers. Whereas she had started barely reacting to their attacks, each blow she failed to avoid struck harder than the last. She was feeling short of breath.
But she reminded herself of what was at stake. It wasn’t just her wanting to return to her own world anymore. Materia thought of Leslie, the mayor, all those people watching a battle they had no choice of fighting by themselves. “It’d leave a sour taste in my mouth if I let these guys win…” With rekindled purpose, the raven haired warrior put forth a great assault in return.
Aggressively stepping from raider to raider, Materia delivered swift chops to their necks. Burly man after burly man dropped like flies. Baiting the biggest among of them, she tricked them into falling into her grip, becoming a large projectile to be lobbed back at their compatriots, taking out whole groups at once.
“BWAH-HAHAHAAA…!” Bolo’s surprisingly high pitched laugh rang out as he slapped his belly in amusement. “Ya bozos are all wimps! Can’t deal with a lil’ girl?!”
The last of the raiders’ feet were dangling in the air, with a tense Materia gripping his entire face in one hand. The boss’ irritating remarks made Materia’s impressive victory feel hollow to her. She slammed her latest foe down into the ground behind her like a discarded sack of potatoes and began to approach Bolo.
“Oi,” the boss suddenly boomed out, beckoning the winner with a couple of fingers.
Materia stopped in her tracks. With dozens of unconscious men in a heap around them, the amazon and Bolo were left alone to face each other. Suddenly, she could see just how tall that monster of a man was. But she didn’t shake; she saw it as a challenge, her hands balling into fists.
“Yer pretty good, lil’ lady,” Bolo’s deep voice returned, his words rolling out with intensity. “Fun show, doll. But this is as far as you get wifout that gettin’ pretty face messed up.”
Rubbing the blood off her cut lips, Materia spat down in front of Bolo again. “Bring it on, fatass.”
Tilting his head back, Bolo’s nostrils flared as he drew in a large amount of air. Materia made sure to not relax for one second; the raider boss’ underlings had been easy enough to take out but she still wasn’t sure what to expect from the giant man. Bolo began to tense up and the muscles in his arms started bulging, causing his open jacket to begin protesting around the shoulders. Before his clothes blew up though, he brought his right hand up, clutched it around the left shoulder and threw the jacket into the air.
Even as the jacket flew several feet into the air, Materia kept her eyes on her foe. Now that his torso was nude she could appreciate he was more than just a muscular man with a gut. Those arms were rippling with strength, his pectorals jutting out like a perfect pair of meaty slabs. With wide shoulders with even thicker deltoids, Materia became convinced that this wasn’t any ordinary fat man. All that thickness was backed by power and he was showing it off to her to intimidate her.
But Materia had no time for intimidation. She was worn from the previous fights, but she couldn’t show him weakness; or else she knew Bolo would exploit it. Since he wasn’t armed like his underlings, Materia decided she would meet him head on in equal footing. She unclasped the bands on her shoulder pad and gauntlets, taking them off before removing her bustier which left her decent only thanks to her combat bra.
“Not backing down, eh?” Bolo seemed to understand her intentions, “Don’t much like beatin’ up on women. But the boys, y’know, they gotta eat,” the raider boss loudly hit one of his fists into an open palm, cracking his knuckles while staring down at Materia. “And yer in mah way, honey.”
For a moment, all the fighters did was stare at each other, almost as if silently sizing each other out. The tension in the air was almost palpable to the villagers stuck in the tavern witnessing the duel. Leslie was full of worry, praying to her Gods to grant their champion strength. She had seen Materia giving it her all against the waves of goons. “C’mon, you can do it… don’t let Bolo win!”
Materia made the first move, charging her opponent with every intention to finish the fight quickly. The amazon sped past him in a feign, planning on attacking his blind spot. However, she misjudged the massive raider’s speed and got a pounding fist down on her shoulder. She cried out in pain even though she managed to step out of the way just in time to get off with only a bruise. “What strength…! He could’ve dislocated my shoulder if I’d been any closer!” she thought as she held her aching arm.
“What’samatter, sweet’ums?” Bolo taunted with a big grin, turning around to seize Materia by an arm before she could get away. “Yer all banged up and still wunna pick a fight wif me. Dim in the head I tell yas... Nnnngh!”
“Yes!” Leslie cheered as Bolo staggered from a serious impact. Materia had taken the chance he had brought her close to him to use her head; literally.
“Heck’y’tryna do…?!” light-headed from the head butt and grunting, Bolo stabilized himself with a furious stomp. With his solid grip on Materia, he brought her close to deliver his own head butt. Materia’s eyes went wide when the unavoidable blow hit its mark, making her reel from the pain. It was the first time someone hadn’t been knocked unconscious by one of her battle-ender techniques, and now that someone was using it on her she understood how effective it truly was.
Struggling with all of her might, Materia dug her fingers into her captor’s hands, her nails digging into Bolo’s skin. As he groaned in pain, she used the time to really put the strain of her biceps, prying his hands away and kicking herself out into a somersault by using his face as a step. She landed back on the muddy ground with some difficulty, her ears still ringing from the strike.
“Startin’ to piss ‘ol Bolo off, honey!” the big brute slapped the dirt off his eyes, rushing after Materia to exploit her lack of balance. He threw his arms out in an attempt to catch her again, but Bolo was surprised when his target put her own hands out, locking them in place.
“Don’t think I’m gonna let you do like you please around here anymore!” Materia announced with conviction, although she was trying to pump herself up since she knew she couldn’t win in a competition of strength. It was taking all of her willpower to avoid bending the knee under the taller man’s weight, but the same situation gave Materia an idea.
“Wuh…?!” Bolo suddenly felt a lack of resistance that shocked him; he was falling forwards under his own weight. The smaller amazon was bending backwards, pulling him on top. Before he could ask what was going on, her feet were on his stomach and she had fallen on her back. And in the next moment, the world went upside-down for Bolo.
A tremor seemed to strike the little village when the 10ft. tall beast of a man hit the humid ground head-first. The rest of his body fell down with a great thud. Materia let out a sigh of relief. She was a muddy and bloody mess now, but at least she had gotten Bolo good. Before she was able to turn herself around to celebrate however, she felt herself getting dragged by a leg.
“Pretty proud of ‘em legs ain’tcha?!” the raider boss said, starting to squeeze Materia’s leg with the intention to twist it. Screaming in pain, Materia kicked the heel of her boots into the guy’s forearm, making him cry out in pain. In response, Bolo did the unthinkable and sunk his teeth on her knee and part of her leg, biting her with the strength to tear bark off a tree.
“Fuck…!” Materia felt a searing pain in her leg, which prompted her to action. She dug her hand into the mud, slapping Bolo with it in a wild swing. With gravel and dirt hitting his exposed eyes, the villain reeled back and had no choice but to relent from the biting.
“That’s it, naw more Mr. Nice Guy!” shouted the enraged Bolo, who scrambled up to his feet to kick Materia square in the gut, sending her rolling on the mud. He immediately followed her, stomping a heavy, muddy foot down on the amazon’s head. Materia had just enough time to turn her cheek, but her head still sunk halfway into the mud as that brute pushed down with his foot. “BWAH-HAHAHAAAAA!” he guffawed, eyes red with irritation. “What’cha gunna do naow, girlie? EH? HUUUUUH?” the burly bully teased, “Gunna submit to yer better? Ya can call Mr. Nice Guy back. Just kiss mah feet ‘n we’ll forget all’bout dis mess! Fine deal, don’tcha agree?!”
“Materia!” Leslie’s worried shouts coming from the tavern were starting to seem distant. Materia was struggling for air. Her strength was nearly gone and all she could do was clutch onto Bolo’s ankle in a vain attempt to shove him off, but her arms had no more energy. But she couldn’t afford to let that odious man win; not when his victory would mean the continued misery of everyone involved.
With the one eye that could still peer out without mud getting in the way, all Materia could see was Bolo’s gut jiggling above his hips and his spread legs as he continued to boast. She took his moment of distraction, using his own cockiness against him. Summoning all of her strength into her right leg, channeling all of her accumulated violence, the amazon kicked upwards.
“…gunna make you mah obedient WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIeeeeeeeeee…!” Bolo’s voice went from a booming baritone to a fizzling out whimper that was carried away by the late morning breeze. The guy’s legs wobbled as he stumbled back, both of his hands rushing to his groin. “B-buh-buh-biiiiaaaah…!” he stuttered, finally dropping on his back with another heavy thud. Writhing in major testicular pain, Bolo was paralyzed. But before he could seriously yell about it, Materia’s boot came down on his face from above.
“What’s it gonna be?” the messy amazon panted as she dug her heel on Bolo’s face, “Want me to call Ms. Nice Girl back?” Materia growled, sinking Bolo’s face down into the mud this time.
The squirming man screamed into her sole, but he was so overcome with pain that he couldn’t fight back. The way she was applying weight on his head, he was going to lose an eye or worse to her heels if he didn’t surrender.
In the end, he tapped out. “Dun wanna die…!” he confessed, managing to reach up to gently tap Materia’s ankle in a pleading motion.
Satisfied with her victory, Materia was ready to step off Bolo’s face when suddenly she felt a strange sensation wash over her. It was warm, ticklish, almost like an incessant tingle spreading out from her core. At the same time, she could see something even stranger happening to Bolo, whose body seemed outlined by a peculiar, iridescent glow. As the light surrounding him left Bolo’s body, it seemed to seep into Materia through her foot and traveled up her leg, feeding into that new feeling inside of her.
“Nnghh… what’s happening…? It feels really hot all of a sudden!” Materia’s cheeks flushed with color, her thighs rubbing together as that tingling expanded out from her mid-section to the near invisible, short hairs on her skin. An increasingly louder stretching noise distracted the amazon, whose attention was immediately brought to the tightening bra around her bust.
As an active warrior and hunter, Materia’s build was far from lithe, even when considering her height. Well-honed muscle adorned her womanly shape, complementing lithe curves with a sturdy frame. The young woman had seen plenty of other girls struggling with their clothes and movement thanks to the size of their breasts, so she was actually thankful of not being too terribly endowed up top. At that moment however, Materia was having a hard time keeping her breasts from slipping out the cups of her bra, suddenly a size too small to contain her mounds.
“Gah, damnit!” Materia threw her arms around her chest, trying to keep the twins in place while she clumsily slid her fingers around the straps of her bra. She realized they were way more fastened than usual. “Did the mud make it shrink?! Ah…!” with widening eyes, Materia witnessed her bra snapping under the weight of her breasts. But the wardrobe malfunction wasn’t relegated to the top.
Her utility belt and shorts were next, gradually tightening around the swell of her waist and hips as her boots began to tear down. With an arm strategically poised in front of her chest and another dashing down to cover her privates just before her clothes exploded, Materia concluded her clothes hadn’t shrunk at all. She was far too big for them; she was growing larger!
“What’s this? Some sort of curse…?! First I warm up and now I’m growing out of my clothes?!” the enlarging amazon whined, her body inching upwards with every breath she took. Directing her confused rage downwards, she yelled out: “What did you do to me, Bolo?!”
Down below, Bolo’s arms flailed as Materia’s wild movements caused the weight to shift on his face, further sinking him into the mud. He was unable to fight back however; not because of the pain in his groin now but due to the fact his vigor was being sapped away from him. It dawned upon Materia that even though she was expanding, Bolo was looking way smaller than he should have been. It seemed as though as she was growing bigger Bolo was losing his size!
Before she could even question him however, the tingling intensified into a wave of pleasure that made Materia briefly lock up and lose control of her arms. A surprisingly high pitched, feminine squeak left her lips when her now ten feet tall body finished outgrowing her clothes, causing her nipples and privates to get stimulated by the crisp air. Materia regained control quickly, covering herself up with her arms while further tensing up, as if attempting to stall the process.
All her stressing out managed to do however was make her toned muscles bulge out, joining her cleavage and rump in the sudden nude exposition.
“Great Gods, we’re blessed,” said the mayor with his cheeks practically smooshed against the window; his wife smacking him across the head.
“She won! A complete victory” Leslie cheered as she rushed outside. With all of the raiders incapacitated, the village girl made her way to the growing Materia’s side. “Mattie, you did it! You did it!”
“A-ah…! Leslie?!” Materia snapped in Leslie’s direction, her face brightening to the complexion of a tomato. “Suh-stay back! I can’t…! Eeep…!” she squeaked again, feeling her foot outgrowing Bolo’s head and finishing burying it under the mud. “Crud! Sorry!” she had been so surprised by her sudden growth spurt she almost lost her balance, and certainly seemed to forget that shrinking jerk deserved what he was getting.
If Leslie had felt small next to Materia and Bolo before, she felt utterly dwarfed by the guardian she had summoned to help her village. Materia was still growing even after surpassing Bolo’s old height. The previous giant man was now shorter than Materia’s starting size, and both seemed to continue going in opposite directions until Bolo ended no taller than five-foot-tall, even shorter than Leslie, while Materia stopped at a towering thirteen!
Even though Materia felt mended and invigorated by the amazing transformation, she couldn’t stop panting. “I-it’s… it’s over it looks like…!” she announced.
“I’m so impressed, Mattie!” Leslie bounced in place, barely reaching her guardian’s hips now, “You defeated the demi-god and also took his size!”
“Is that a thing?!” Materia cried out, “Why didn’t you tell me this was gonna happen?!”
“You’re right I should’ve warned you,” Leslie giggled, bapping herself on the back of the head while playfully sticking her tongue out, “But it’s actually my first time seeing it myself! In our world, demi-gods battle each other and the winner takes the power of the loser!”
“That’s right, ma’am…!” a gruff voice came from behind Materia, startling her into yelping. “You now have our boss’ power!” She immediately turned around, having to side-step to avoid hip-checking Leslie over the horizon. With all of the commotion, Materia had failed to notice the other raiders she had knocked out were beginning to get up, although they all seemed to be on their knees now in front of her.
Rapidly blinking her incredulous eyes, Materia wondered why their tone had changed so drastically; they seemed to be showing reverence to her in place of hatred for having humiliated their boss! “Ah… Ahhh!” she screamed out loud, instantly scrunched up and crouched in order to make herself as small as possible when she realized there were dozens of male gazes upon her nude form. “Guh-gaaaah! Don’t stare…!”
“YES, MA’AM!” a resounding cry left the group of kneeling raiders, who all practically slammed their foreheads onto the ground in prostration.
“O-oh, Mattie!” Leslie came from behind Materia holding an oversized jacket in her hands, “Maybe this’ll help?” she asked, showing the apparel which the massive amazon recognized as the discarded jacket Bolo had been wearing. Making a face at the smelly garb, Materia decided she was a beggar and thus couldn’t be a chooser.
After equipping herself with Bolo’s jacket, Materia was glad it had belonged to somebody of such a robust shape. It was a snug fit around her shoulders but the jacket’s width offered her a modest amount of decency she had been desperate to regain. Looking back at the shrunken Bolo, she realized the rest of his clothes looked pathetically oversized for him but she definitely told herself she’d wait for them to get washed before she tried them on.
“What’s your deal, anyway?” the covered up Materia asked one of the prostrated raiders while making sure to tug her jacket closed around her, “I just beat up your boss. And stole his size too it looks like,” she added while giving herself another once-over, thinking about how it’d take her a while to get used to being even bigger. Her attention returned to the raiders and she asked: “Aren’t you gonna seek revenge?”
“You dueled the boss and won, ma’am!” the raider directly in front of Materia raised his voice, “You have our undying respect and we swear our fealty to you! The weak follow the strong, that is the law of this world, ma’am!”
“Ahhh… huh.” Materia tilted her head sideways, confused all of a sudden. “Is that also a thing?” she turned to ask Leslie, who offered a confused shrug in return. “Are you saying you’re going to do whatever I tell you to from now on?” the giantess asked.
“IT WOULD BE OUR HONOR, MA’AM!” the group shouted in unison, making even the towering Materia shiver. However, this sudden change opened up a new possibility Materia hadn’t been considering until now. One glance around the village told her it was in dire need of repairs, of rebuilding, even! And now with so many strong and able men around and willing, an idea occurred to Materia.
The villagers that came out of the tavern soon met their new workers who, under orders from Materia, gave themselves to the purpose of rebuilding the little village they had wrecked. It was a slow effort at first since most of the ex-raiders were brutes used to the art of combat more than architecture.
Fortunately for them, one of the villagers had his hand building some of the destroyed houses and it wasn’t long before the lessons started. The rebuilding of the village had soon begun, the joint effort between the ex-raiders and the villagers seeing to its restoration.
After Bolo’s old clothes had been washed three times at Materia’s insistence, she had finally managed to get herself covered up again. While she missed her old battle gear, the 13ft. mini-giantess felt a certain air of importance in her new apparel, even if it definitely felt tight.
Bolo had almost run out of breath apologizing. Manifesting his desire to help rebuild what he had wrecked much like how his ex-subordinates had done as Materia had ordered, the shrunk raider boss was using his abilities for the benefit of the village. On the same night of his defeat, Bolo had proved himself an able chef when he told everybody where the stolen food he had taken was and used it to prepare dinner for everybody.
With the addition of so many new people, labor was divided among those present and able. The strongest among of the group followed Materia into the woods to hunt for meat while they protected the fruit and mushroom collectors from the wild predators at the same time. In a surprising turn, Bolo had revealed to be quite a handy cook indeed, being appointed as the village cook and preparing great feasts every night. The rest continued reconstructing homes while setting plans to build new accommodations.
Leslie followed Materia everywhere she went. She was there to report progress to the mini-giantess whenever she returned from hunting. Inevitably, Leslie started tagging along with her even when Materia told her to stay behind, which worried the latter. The blonde was excitable but no matter how infectious her cheer was, it didn’t help when it came to fighting beasts many time her size.
However, Materia, or Mattie as Leslie had taken to calling her now, always came to her rescue. Even though Mattie hadn’t been sent back to her world yet, her calling evidently not fulfilled yet, she and Leslie grew closer with every day as they searched for ways to return home. Eventually, the routine of scouting, hunting, merrying with the villagers and the now integrated Bolo’s gang made Mattie less concerned with returning.
Their village was soon restored to its former state, with much more available housing too. “Come to think of it,” Mattie said one day to Leslie, “I’ve never asked, but what’s the name of your village, Leslie?”
“Well, I feel like the way it’s been reborn makes it deserving of a new name!” the blonde said, “I’m sure we can run it by Mr. Mayor! What do you think we should call it, Mattie?” Leslie asked her good friend. Mattie was left wondering for a moment.
Looking around her, she saw oodles of people walking the village’s grounds. There was little difference between the ex-raiders and the handful of villagers that used to be scared of them. They were one people now, and their effort was the reason the village was back on its feet. Folding her arms, Mattie nodded to herself and finally decided: “Yes. I think Unity’s a good name.”
“Corny,” Leslie immediately responded, making Mattie lose her balance. “But I like it!”
“Is that right…?” the mini-giantess sighed. Despite the corny remark however, Leslie was quite impassionate pitching the name change idea to the mayor, who eventually agreed. That night, Unity village enjoyed its very first banquet at the remodeled and expanded tavern.
By the first month and couple weeks, Unity village had nearly doubled in size. Many of the ex-raiders began getting interested in different disciplines as they studied. Some became chefs that joined Bolo’s kitchen, while others led the builders. Others took to pottery and smithing, which finally opened the door for commerce.
It was a rough start just like when they had all joined together to rebuild Unity, but it wasn’t long before all that effort started bearing fruit. And it also didn’t take long before Unity’s resurgence and its burgeoning success spread by word of mouth.
Before they knew it, the happy, united village people had come under attack.
“Whoa whoa, calm down!” Mattie yelled as she dodged incoming wooden barrels, the containers smashing into pieces upon the recently paved town square. Roughly laid down cobblestone gave Mattie steadier ground for fancy footwork, but the villagers who had been innocently celebrating their town square’s remodeling weren’t having an easy time.
“We’re under attack! Run!”
Mattie gave thanks to the reaction of the more hardened Unity citizens, who stepped in to shield the non-combatants from the flying projectiles and the ensuing hazardous debris. Parties with everybody joining were now a weekly event in Unity. It was a burgeoning tradition meant to reward everyone for their continuous hard work. However, their celebration had unfortunately left them open to unwelcome visitors such as the violent demi-god eager to smash Mattie with mead barrels.
The fellow made Mattie look small by comparison. With almost 10 feet over her, he more than doubled the resident giantess’ height. Scraps of cloth and metal seemed to have been cobbled together into some sort of functional battle armor dressing the long, blond haired giant. Unlike Bolo before him, this demi-god was leaner, with toned musculature like Mattie’s, yet he was no less vicious.
“You’re gonna get people hurt!” Mattie reprimanded as she rolled over to scoop Leslie off the ground before the barrels hit her too.
“That’s the idea, coward! I already told you: Fight me or these people get beat up!” the 22ft. tall assailant stomped the cobblestone hard enough to make the pavement crack.
The poor village girl had been scrambling to help with the town square evacuation, but with this much unexpected action she had tripped over. “Leslie, Julius, are you okay?!”
Julius was one of the elderly villagers who still found time to join the festivities even though he preferred quiet days at home. “I’m fine thanks to you and Leslie here, but I don’t think I’ll be joining the next party, my dear.”
Mattie allowed herself a small smirk; the strength of these people never ceased to amaze her. Leslie raised her voice: “Mattie you have to kick this guy’s butt! Comes out of nowhere and tries to wreck it all!”
“And he’s wasting all the mead!” Mattie reached over for a wagon, bringing it up to serve as a shield as Leslie helped Julius back up. “That was good booze, you jerk!” she yelled amidst soaks of recklessly splashing beer.
“I don’t care! You’re the strongest in these parts, aren’t you?” the demi-god yelled back, finally running out of barrels. He started making his way to Mattie, “We will do battle and I will prove myself stronger! I will…”
“Eat wagon!” Mattie’s words flew towards the demi-god alongside the wagon she threw at him with all of her might. When she saw their attacker bring up his arms to block the surprise counter-projectile, she used that moment of distraction to ease Leslie and Julius out of the way. “Go go go! He’s only after me, I’ll take care of it!”
“Be careful, Mattie!” Leslie huffed, looking worryingly over at the giant man brushing chunks of wood off himself as if they had been pathetic splinters.
With the town square evacuated, Mattie and the demi-god were finally facing off against each other. “Hurling your shield as a surprise tactic, humph! I’m not sure I approve!” the deep voiced warrior spoke down, making his opponent angrily growl.
“That’s my line, duel-man! Who just crashes a party to start chucking beer barrels at people?!” Mattie pointed dramatically at the demi-god.
“Your peaceful ways astonish me, but I never expected you to use them to insult me,” the giant smashed his fist into a hand, making the air ripple around him. As he cracked his knuckles, the blonde fighter seemed almost pleased with Mattie being finally face to face with him. “Battles between demi-gods do not wait for celebrations, much less the well-being of the weak!”
Mattie’s nostrils flared, she was steaming. “I have no idea why you think it’s alright to trample those smaller than you, but I’m a shorty you won’t be able to mess with, pal.” Pointing at herself, she finally introduced herself: “I’m Materia Bannir, and I protect the people of Unity village. You better tell me who you are so I know whose ass I’m gonna kick!”
“Well spoken, Materia Bannir of Unity village!” the demi-god bellowed, raising a fist at the air, “I am Bellgrod the Titan! Just as all of my foes before you, you will serve as another step in my ascension!”
“Ascension?” the word rang inside of Mattie’s head, but she didn’t have long to ponder. Bellgrod charged at her, forcing her into a defensive stance. Bolo had been one thing with over a head of advantage, but this guy was a giant even to a supersized amazon like herself!
Now that he was finally coming at her, Mattie didn’t know how to react so her instincts went to the times she had to fight beasts bigger than herself. She thought to use his own strength against him and topple him over just like she had done with Bolo before him, but something was different this time.
Bellgrod skidded on the pavement, punching down and ripping cobblestone from the town square. Mattie’s eyes widened in shock as her opponent lobbed a huge chunk of dirt and stone at her. The intensity of his throw was so much that even the pavement split in mid-air, spreading out into a hail of smaller yet no lighter projectiles which at such close range effectively rendered evasion impossible.
With only defense left in the cards, Mattie brought both of her arms in a cross guard. The gravel and even the dirt hurt like hell. She was blasted with such ferocity from that simple close-range swathe that she was backed into the wall of a nearby house. When the dust settled, the wall of that building could be seen incrusted with debris and a battered Mattie coughing from the powdery mess around her. “This guy…” the mental consideration for Bellgrod’s particular tactic was interrupted by his incoming fist.
“GAH!” with only seconds to react, Materia took advantage of her smaller size to duck out of the way before the punch made contact with her. With her eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets, she watched the house which she had been backed into get slammed so hard its mid-section was blown right off. “This guy’s serious!” she thought as her heart skipped a beat.
Relentless Bellgrod had his opponent on the ropes. The demi-god wasted no chance with follow ups. With resourceful timing, he grabbed the roof of the house off the air and before it collapsed entirely he smashed it down on Materia.
“Crud…!” Mattie held her arms out defensively, but this time it wasn’t enough. The weight of several hundred pounds of construction material crashed down on her like a waterfall, further empowered by the brutish might of her gigantic opponent. She felt her arms giving under the sheer weight, wood and stone battering her up. Buried under rubble, Mattie felt like she was going pass out from the pain and the difficulty to breathe.
“A quick and decisive victory.” Bellgrod said to himself, stepping away to observe the debris covering his foe. Folding his arms, he scrunched his face up with a wry smile, “Another pitiful fight. This will hardly empower me. I’m not even growing any… What?” the giant watched the rubble become unsettled, looking down to find Materia’s hand crushing a large chunk of building against his ankle.
“Fuh…fall you dumb… brick house…” Mattie could be heard panting. Amused, Bellgrod reached down to pick her up by the aggressive arm, pulling her up to eye level. “What’cha… looking at?!”
“You still haven’t conceded.” Bellgrod laughed, “It seems I was wrong! But you still are weak,” he said to the battered, bloodied Materia. “And that is a lesson I’m only too happy to impart on you, Materia Bannir of Unity village!”
“Cuh-Quit calling me by my full name, jeeeeeeeeee…!” Mattie found herself screaming as she was flung over the air, tossed like a pebble. The sudden burst of fresh air and high flight speed served to inject some adrenaline into the battered warrior, waking her back up from her pained stupor.
Turning herself around just in time, Materia caught herself on a thick branch from one of the tall trees by the east end of the village. The sturdy tree was uprooted, pulled back by Mattie’s attempt to avoid crash landing. “I’m so glad he didn’t throw me into a house. I almost died getting a house thrown on me just now!” she thought as her feet gently touched the floor. “I need a strategy to beat this guy and fast. I can’t take another blow like that again!”
“Ah! You brandish a weapon, do you?” Bellgrod’s furious stomps made the ground quake. Materia could only quizzically stare at the giant before she saw him grab the exact same type of tree she was holding before he uprooted it and held it in one hand. “This will make our duel more interesting!”
“A weapon… That’s it!” Mattie quickly used brute force to finish pulling the tree by its trunk right off the ground. She imitated Bellgrod, tearing the roots of the tree off. While he punched the trunk into sharp ends, she instead smashed it against the ground, fabricating a pointy end like a lance.
Short-sword versus lance. Mattie allowed herself a breather now that she had better reach. Her smaller size meant she couldn’t afford to get hit as much, but the addition of a weapon allowed her to survive Bellgrod’s impressively fast and aggressive fight style. Their weapons clashed, Materia getting a few good stabs on Bellgrod’s legs and sides, but she couldn’t avoid getting smacked around.
The fight escalated, Materia getting more and more aggressive and reckless with every strike. Bellgrod was confused when she started disappearing from sight, using the empty living quarters to hide and emerge from unexpected spots to get him. He learned too late of his folly, having thrown his foe into such close quarters when she clearly was small enough to use her surroundings to sneak around.
Mattie was making sure her foe paid for his arrogance. Using the rooftops, she assailed his neck and shoulders. Taking the few alleyways available to her, she continued her assault on his ankles and she noted her effort was paying off when the demi-god’s movements steadily became slower and more predictable. She was starting to run on empty however, so she had to finish the fight fast.
“Enough with these games!” the giant roared, stabbing his sword down and cracking the ground beside him. With a roar and swing of his arm, he demolished the cottages around him. When he caught sight of the dashing woman, Bellgrod gave chase to a tavern. He was ready to stomp the building down, “Out with you, scurrying like a rat!”
“This rat will have your head!” Mattie declared, crouching and propelling herself into the air into a high jump that gave Bellgrod only just enough time to see her feet striking his eyes with a double kick. She breathed a sigh of relief when he collapsed beside the tavern instead of down on it, saving at least one building of the many that had gotten wrecked during the fight. When she landed on Bellgrod’s chest, Mattie dug her heel on his neck and with his groan of pain she doubled down and pressed her sharpened lance tip to his jugular.
But she stopped.
“Come on…” Bellgrod coughed, “Do it! Finish me off!” he demanded.
Looking down at her defeated opponent, his words rang in Mattie’s head. “Why should I do as you say?” she dug her heel down on Bellgrod’s sternum, drawing a satisfying grunt from him. “I’m the winner. I decide what to do with you, don’t I?”
At first, Bellgrod responded with silent contemplation. However, his façade came apart when he began to tremble all over. Amidst clenched teeth he uttered a quiet yet audible: “Please do it. I am begging you, Materia Bannir of Unity village.” She cringed at the use of her full name again, but allowed him to continue: “Do not spare me!” he insisted.
Mattie was at a loss of words. Dishonor was one thing, but this guy was begging her to off him; that would only leave a sour aftertaste in her mouth that she did not want to live with. Casting a glare down at Bellgrod, she asked a question: “Why are you so eager to die? You seem to love a good fight.”
Sighing exasperatedly, Bellgrod seemed to be avoiding her gaze all of a sudden. His trembling only seemed to be growing with his anxious behavior. “Bellgrod the Titan is nothing but a loser now. The weak lose and they are discarded in favor of the strong. That is the way of the world. If you’re not strong…” he paused, returning a sad look full of self-disappointment to Materia, “…you’re no good for anyone. OOF!” he reeled when the victor flipped the tree-lance for its blunt side, smacking him across the face with it.
Fuming, Materia aimed her weapon down at Bellgrod’s forehead this time, her free fist pressed against her waist. “The hell you aren’t!” she shouted, “What’s this “way of the world” you’re talking about? I’m not from around here. But see this village you and I wrecked?” she gestured with her armed hand, forcing the confused Bellgrod to take a long look at Unity. His attention snapped back to Materia when the rod came back in front of his eyes, “According to you, as the strongest around here I should’ve been able to build everything by myself. But that’s not true. The villagers and I all worked together to get this place back up from the brink, and it’s better than ever! You know why?”
There was no response from Bellgrod. He was too stunned by the loudness in Materia’s speech.
“Because brute strength carries you alone and only so far!” Mattie answered for him, “Raiders, villagers, we all got together and now we’re stronger for it,” a smile curled her lips and she threw her weapon away, stepped off the giant’s chest and patted the bark off her palm before offering it down to her defeated foe. “I’m not discarding anybody, Bellgrod.”
Looking at the open hand, the demi-god was left dumbstruck. “This is the first time…” he mumbled, eyes practically glued to Materia’s dirty hand, “…the first time anybody’s ever offered their hand to me in place of their fist.”
“It would probably help if you didn’t go looking for fights everywhere you went,” Mattie laughed heartily, “Now c’mon. Where I’m from, the loser does as the winner says. And I’m not going to go easy on you. You’re gonna help fix everything we broke during that duel. And if after all that you have nowhere you go, you’re free to join Unity.”
“I-is it over…?” the mayor was the second one to peek out from one of the trees at the edge of the village. Leslie was already walking back in. “Luh-Leslie!”
“It’s alright, Mr. Mayor,” Leslie boldly said, her beaming grin as radiant as ever. Patting her dirty apron down, she turned and looked at him with a wink, “Mattie’s got everything under control.”
As the villagers of Unity started coming out and surrounding Bellgrod and Materia, the former gulped. “I can… join you?” Bellgrod carefully sat up, still warily looking at Materia’s hand. “Even after all I did?”
“You’re first gonna show me you aren’t a complete jerkwad. But yeah,” Mattie nodded with a smirk, “Doesn’t it get lonely out there? Can’t really say you look like you got a ton of friends, no offense. And if today was any kind of warning, we could use powerful guys like you around. Isn’t that right, guys?”
Most of the villagers were still wary, making Bellgrod afraid of speaking up. However, one of the armored warriors stepped out from the crowd, “Your aggressive fighting style was impressive. The boss lady’s brutish leg work is one thing, but we could learn a lot from your technique, sir.”
An angry vein pulsed hidden under Mattie’s hair at the brutish remark, but she let it slide.
“A world where even a loser like me has a place, huh…?” Bellgrod thought out loud, finally meeting Materia’s gaze with his own. Without looking at her hand, he shook it and allowed himself a soft smile. “I’d like that. I will do my best, Materia Bannir of…”
“Just Materia is fine, jeez!” Mattie cried out, but before she could celebrate her victory, she was suddenly washed over by a familiar tingling. “Wuh-wait…” Her eyes went wide as she saw Bellgrod glow, her own body becoming outlined with the same multi-colored light. “This again?!”
Before everyone’s eyes, Bellgrod’s clothes started looking looser and looser until they appeared ridiculously baggy on him. Materia’s borrowed clothes, on the other hand, started looking tighter and tighter until they began to snap under pressure. Their new ally was shrinking as Materia’s body absorbed his size.
“Nnnghh… I-it’s… so much stronger than last time!” Mattie cried out in pleasure, unable to hold back from the bliss coursing through her expanding body. She had no time to take her jacket off, the sleeves tearing around her toned biceps before a vertical tear busted open at the back. Her pants and shirt were next, exploding around her swelling curves and leaving her a completely naked, growing woman.
Once again, Mattie scrambled to cover herself up with her hands as she surged in size beyond 20ft. tall! The houses she had feared to be smashed against earlier were suddenly looking a lot smaller, villagers stepping out of the way as her feet tore through her footwear and started sliding over the ground. “This is too much! Why isn’t it stopping?!”
“You’re taking all of his extra size, Mattie!” Leslie explained, although she seemed the opposite of everyone in the village, cheering her growth on while hopping next to those legs that simply towered over her! “Grow, grow, Mattie, grow! You’re even stronger now!”
“I don’t mind that, but ahhhh…!” Mattie couldn’t form proper sentences, her words failing and being replaced by aroused moans as she rubbed her thighs together, unable to help herself. The expanding woman was soon over 25ft. tall and steadily ascending. Meanwhile, Bellgrod appeared to have vanished under his torn clothes that seemed too small even for Materia.
“This is marvelous,” said the ex-demi-god from a hole in his oversized shirt, staring up at the gigantic Materia. “I have never seen such a powerful looking frame with such feminine shape.”
“I know right? And the way she’s trying to cover up!” Leslie cried out with both hands at her cheeks, “Soooo sexy!”
“QUIT BEING PERVERTS ALL OF YOU!” Materia sat down with a loud yelp, her height totaling 30ft. tall now and putting her as tall as the remodeled tavern even while sitting. “Get me something to cover up, NOW!”
“Yes ma’am!” the ex-raider soldiers responded. With Bellgrod’s clothes and his great eye for fighting equipment, the seamstresses and their assistants didn’t take long to get their immense protector covered up again. However, the now 5ft. tall Bellgrod insisted his savior’s defensive needs had to be met. Massive amounts of leather and metal were combined to fashion sturdy armor plating that would protect Materia’s vital organs, giving her the appearance of a titanic gladiatrix.
“You look so cool like this, Mattie!” Leslie had persuaded the giantess to let her sit at one of her reinforced leather pauldrons, so she had a good panoramic view of their surroundings. “I bet nobody’s going to be able to beat you now!”
“Indeed,” Bellgrod, now clothed, seemed satisfied with the outcome of their joint efforts, “I assure you will have no trouble on your next fight. Go out and battle to your heart’s content!”
“I’m not going to go out looking for fights, you battle maniac!” Mattie yelled, holding her forehead with a groan, “Ugh, my head hurts. You really hit hard, Bellgrod.”
“Yes. Even though I was a demi-god, I never stopped honing my fighting skills, Materia,” the blonde martial artist nodded, “However, it is true that fighting needn’t be a skill reserved solely to attack. From now on, I will strive to teach those in Unity willing to learn.”
“Right… well, do that after we rebuild, alright?” Mattie smiled, but Leslie seemed huffy.
“What? We’re not gonna rebuild two or three houses now, not after that total victory, Mattie!” the village girl insisted, “It’s time to celebrate! We never got to finish our party at town square, so we’re gonna have to go at it twice as hard!”
“Tuh-twice…?” Mattie nervously laughed.
“Yeah!” Leslie hopped up and down on Mattie’s shoulder, punching the air above her, “Let’s break out the reserve mead! Bolo, it’s time for you to show off!”
Yelling out from the tavern, Bolo’s gruff voice came sure of himself: “Leave it to me ‘n the lads girlie! De boss lady’s even bigger now, so we’ll hafta triple da rations. Get ready to work yer asses off, y’all…!”
“I… I don’t eat that much, do I…?” Mattie blushed self-consciously, Leslie’s hand patting her on the cheek.
“There there. They just wanna be nice! Plus, we’re only worried about how much you drink!” the blonde village girl giggled.
“…don’t try to make me feel better or anything, Leslie.”
That night, the party went wild.
Even though Bellgrod had wasted no less than half a dozen wooden kegs earlier, alcohol was in no short supply. Between good food and drink, the usual merriment hit Unity like a blast. And so did a drunken Materia, who insisted to everybody that she was merely “tipsy” despite drinking straight from the kegs with her new size.
It was a good thing they had plotted the rebuilding project for the following days. An uninhibited 30ft. tall woman had turned out to be more hazardous to Unity’s buildings than a one-on-one duel between demi-gods. Leslie counted twice Materia tripping over herself while dancing, but fortunately the others had enough sense to stay away from that merry destroyer.
It wasn’t all clumsy drunken accidents however. With some convincing by Leslie, Mattie eventually sat down to join less dangerous games, some of which she was happy to be the judge for. It was easy to enjoy herself after such a stressful day. Mattie clapped along with the dancers and singers, bringing some of them up to stand on her shoulders for everybody to get a good view of them. “They’re like dolls now…” Mattie drunkenly thought with an amused giggle as she felt a strange source of pleasure coming from the egregious size difference between her and the other residents. She had always towered over most people at her original height, but now she was truly looming and it felt so right!
And then a thought occurred to her. If she was this big, could there also be other demi-gods out there as big if not bigger than even herself? Bolo and Bellgrod were good folks, but their size had corrupted and distorted their ideals, turning them into bullies. “But was it really their fault…? This world, Sizarra. It has strange rules, way different than the world I come from. And it seems like it’s geared for the strong to take everything from the weak…” she calmed down amidst the celebration, her shoulders sagging a little. But then she thought about her part in this world: All those two had needed was someone to show them there was another way.
Mattie couldn’t help but wonder if perhaps there were others in need of that help. But her thoughts were derailed when she felt someone poking her knee with strong handed pats. It was the always starry-eyed Leslie who had rolled in another barrel of mead to replace the empty one she had drank dry. With a smile, Mattie thanked Leslie and very gently reached down to pat her on the head before seizing the barrel. “Not gonna get anywhere with this tonight…” she told herself before suddenly yelling out: “CHEERS!” and was followed by the rest of those present.
“CHEERS!” the multitude happily roared. And the party raged on well past the early morning…
“Oww… my head…” Mattie groggily slurred as light filtered through wooden cracks on the ceiling, prompting her to shield her eyes with her forearm. “I feel like I drank an entire lake worth of booze last night… euugh… not touching a drop of it ever again.” She swore to herself.
In her lamentable state, the giantess took a while to notice she had somehow ended up inside the village’s barn; perhaps the only structure large enough to hold a person of her size anymore. Only a few of the dairy cows were around, all the other animals gone. For a moment she feared she might’ve rolled herself over a few of them but she then realized from the amount of light she was getting that it was midday. The barn animal tenders had probably taken them already.
With a sigh of relief, Materia carefully brought her arms up in a stretch, her mind drawing a blank as she attempted to remember all the things she had done the previous night. A soft sound coming from her chest however interrupted her train of thought. “What the…?” she murmured, squinting her eyes as she tried to make out a bundled up shape on top of her.
With flushing cheeks, Mattie quickly found out that someone had chosen her bust as their new bed. And it didn’t take long for the 30ft. tall giantess to discover none other than Leslie snuggled up between her make-shift bustier cups. Seeing the cute blonde snoozing so placidly between her breasts brought many troubling thoughts to Mattie’s head.
“What did I DO last night?” she thought to herself, pressing a hand to her cheek in worry. Mattie was trying her best to recall anything from the party, “How did she end up… why am I lying down in… and why on top of me?” she was scratching her head, her palms growing sweaty and her breathing growing laborious. “Oh God, did we…?” she paused her thoughts, unable to keep herself from murmuring out: “How did we even…?” but her sentence was cut down into a faint squeak of shock when Leslie began to stir herself awake.
“Mmmnghh…” the small village girl stretched her arms, lying across Materia’s prominent chest. “Mornin’.” Leslie greeted while clambered over the warrior’s left breast.
“Duh-don’t you “Mornin’.” Me!” It was all Mattie could do to prevent herself from shouting too loud; she didn’t want anyone else in that barn for now. “What are you doing there? How did you… I mean we…?”
“Oh, you retired early last night,” Leslie cut her short, making Materia sit up with a bead of sweat running down her temple, “I just found you lying down like this all alone, so I decided to keep you company. But I kinda fell asleep myself, hehe! You’re so cute when you’re snoozing.”
“A-ah…” Materia didn’t know what to say, but she was glad Leslie had woken up to stop her from overthinking. “Thanks, I guess…” she allowed herself a chuckle which soon was loud, booming laughter. Leslie could only give Materia a puzzled look.
The following days were good ones for Unity. With Bellgrod spearheading self-defense classes, the fighters from Bolo’s previous gang found a way to refine their fighting skills, enabling them to more effectively protect the city. Even the villagers who were of age but had previously found themselves useless in any kind of conflict stepped up to be coached by their new fighting instructor, ensuring the village’s development continued without Materia needing to be everywhere a conflict brewed.
Soon, Unity’s popularity made the news in nearby cities. The village was visited by the families of villagers who had once left the dilapidated old place, seeking to reunite with their stubborner loved ones. The expansion continued, bringing more attention and more potential new citizens with merchants that saw potential in the bodyguard services their specialized soldiers could provide. In fact, Bellgrod’s teachings were so good that it made Materia confident that the city would be fine if she decided to take a leave of absence.
After talking over it with the mayor and Leslie, Materia decided she would go off on an adventure around the country. The warrior from another world was happy to be part of Unity, but she couldn’t stop thinking about Sizarra’s way and how small people were meant to be oppressed by demi-gods. She wanted to visit other places and learn what they were like, offering her help if necessary.
“I’ll go with you!” Leslie volunteered readily, “I mean, I’m the whole reason you’re stuck in here! And you’re going out to help others like you’ve helped us...”
“Leslie, it’d be too dangerous for you to come. Mr. Mayor, please talk some sense into her…” Mattie only got a shrug from the mayor.
“I would, but the very fact she disobeyed me in the first place and left on her own was how she found the book that brought you to us, Materia,” the mayor smiled nervously at their sighing champion.
“Yay! Then it’s decided!” jumping up onto Materia’s lap she clambered over her thighs and took over like a lap cat. “I’ll be your guide!”
“I thought you’d never left Unity, even before I joined…” Mattie brought up a point which Leslie completely dismissed.
“I know how to read a map, thank you very much! And you’re too big to carry those without destroying them, so there!” the energetic blonde crossed her arms, huffing. “I’m coming.”
“Fine, fine. But you better hide if a demi-god shows up, alright? I don’t want to endanger you at all if possible…” Mattie gave her closest friend a concerned, almost pleading look.
“You got it, Mattie! Now let’s go pack up. Adventure tiiiiiime…!” the village girl said, raising both arms skyward in excitement.
“You can leave Unity to us, Materia. What you’re doing is a good thing, not just for those you’ll be helping, but for yourself. Traveling is important for personal growth!” the mayor sagely explained, although Mattie couldn’t help but deflate.
“I’m pretty sure I’m good on the whole personal ‘growth’ thing…” she said with a little chuckle.
Even with its considerable expansion, Unity continued to be surrounded by the wild woods. The forest trees appeared significantly less imposing to the giant Mattie. Her long strides were making Leslie have a hard time keeping up. Twenty minutes into following her enormous friend’s “casual” stroll, the pigtailed blonde had exhausted even her seemingly endless supply of energy.
“I know I said I’d keep up…” Leslie whined as Materia stopped between two tall oaks. The tall but small village girl nearly collapsed against the giantess’ shin, whimpering as a large hand reached down to pick her off the ground. “Thanks, Mattie!” the blonde hugged her friend’s neck.
Mattie resumed their journey, resting her hands on her hips with a wry smile directed at Leslie. “I told you it’d be hard to follow me on foot. Don’t wear yourself out for no reason.”
“Got iiiit, I just didn’t wanna be an extra load!” Leslie excused herself with a playful giggle, to which Materia responded with a roll of her eyes.
“You’re hardly the weight of a ball on top of my shoulder,” Mattie scoffed, but Leslie seemed delighted with the remark.
“Eee! You’re such a charmer, Mattie! Careful, or I might just fall for you, heehee…!”
“Sh-shut up… it’s really no bother.”
Their journey to get out of Unity’s forest was turning out to be a short one thanks to Materia’s size advantage. Between her ability to just peer over the crown of most of the trees and Leslie’s map guidance, there really was no chance to get lost. And thanks to how chatty Leslie got, Mattie had no reason to feel lonely in her first exploration trip since she had come to Sizarra. It certainly took the edge off to know she didn’t have to worry about the villagers being unable to defend themselves.
However, it didn’t take long for the two adventuring ladies to come across danger. A certain someone had been stalking them for the first few hours since they had left the safety of their village. A demi-god eager to feed off the size of another was ready to strike from the shadows, using what little maneuvering room they had to catch the much larger Materia off guard.
The would-be assailant had been carefully planning all of his moves. At 9ft. tall he could even swiftly leap from the thicker branches without making a noise. With so much protection on his enormous quarry, his options were limited. At first he thought he would go for a fatal strike on an opening he had observed around the nape, but with Leslie erratically dancing around the giantess’ shoulders, his careful plan was becoming less and less likely to succeed. And then an idea hit him: “That demi-god seems fond of the little one. If I take that annoying girl with me, I bet she’ll have no choice but to obey all my orders…!” with a plan in mind, he hid back into the shadows, continuing to tail the traveling pair from afar and waiting for the most opportune moment.
“Can see a lake over the crown of these trees. That over there isn’t the clearing you summoned me at right?” Mattie seemed disappointed with her navigator as she finally stopped for a brief rest. “That would mean we went in a circle.”
“Of course not! There are three lakes. One by Unity and the other two at each edge of the forest and…” Leslie mumbled as she traced a finger over the map in her grip, “Hmm, well, if we’re headed East, we should end up at Kalmuth after its western lake.”
“What do you mean?”
“It’s actually a nice place! Many of the returning villagers once fled there during the raider attacks before I…” Leslie started but was hushed when Mattie brought up a hand and quickly swatted it down with a loud thwap. “Eeek!”
“Sorry, thought I heard a mosquito,” Mattie explained, but a groan coming from below got both women curiously looking down.
“Ack… my… everything…” the stalker demi-god twitched on the ground, steam rising up from his back where Materia had struck him. At that instant, the attacker regretted thinking of ambushing the much larger woman. He had been swatted down like a bug mid-flight.
“Huh? That guy’s too big to be normal,” crouching, Materia reached down to poke at the knocked out demi-god with a raised eyebrow. A brief shot of warmth ran through her body and Materia felt her armor tightening around her just a little as the person under her finger dwindled in size. “He was a demi-god,” she spoke out with surprise, gripping on her tight gauntlets with a groan, “And I took his size too. So much for having enough of it!”
After a rudimentary application of first aid, Materia spoke with the depowered demi-god. She learned that several of his peers had decided to lie in wait to ambush her after learning of Bellgrod the Titan’s failure, but he had been the only one so far who had been waiting at this end of the forest. “There are many who have heard of your exploits,” the sneak explained, “They know you’ve taken the size of two, now three, other demi-gods. That makes you a big target, no pun intended!”
“Just as I thought,” Materia mused to herself, considering she would have to pay even more attention to her surroundings from now. “What are you going to do now?”
“Me?” the sneak sat up, snapping to attention. “Uh, come to think of it, I was going to take your size and then go sweep the gang at Kalmuth… But with my power gone I doubt I stand a chance, even with my stealth. Plus there’s so much you can do to stay out of sight when you get too big, huh?”
“I agree! And that’s why you should head to Unity village. If you’ve been following our movements this long then we could use someone like you to help with security,” Materia offered.
“I… I just tried to kill you from the shadows and failed miserably, ma’am.”
“That was luck on my part. I didn’t hear you the entire time, right until the last second. If I’d seen you coming I probably would’ve killed you in response,” Materia’s matter-of-fact tone made a chill run up the assassin’s spine, prompting him to quickly nod. “You’re good, but you’re better off using that skill to help others. Drop my name at the chief’s, and don’t get up to no good again, got it?”
“You have my thanks! I will offer my all for the sake of your village!” he repeatedly bowed, jumping back up to his feet before breaking into a dash headed towards the inner forest.
“Wow, Mattie! You’re so strong you can take out demi-gods in one strike now!” Leslie was, as usual, eager to celebrate her huge friend’s victories. But as Materia rose back up, she gave the blonde a flat stare.
“Never mind that! What did you mean earlier when I asked about the directions?”
“Kalmuth? Oh that’s just the…”
“Not that…” Materia fumed through her nostrils, “What did you mean IF we’re headed East? Have you even been paying attention to the map this entire time?!”
It was the start of their wonderful journey together.
By the time the adventuring pair was ready to leave the forest through the right exit, night had fallen. Lights from the city of Kalmuth flickered in the distance, giving Materia a good view of their destination as she peered over the treetops. Unity had grown in the past few months, but it still couldn’t hold a candle to a proper city with fortifications. She wondered what kind of people they would meet in that place.
“Dinner’s ready, Mattie!” Leslie announced, prompting the giantess to cast her gaze down at the multitude of bonfires Leslie had prepared; a total of five evenly spread out to ensure Mattie wouldn’t be lacking warmth, but also to provide heat for their meal.
The village girl had insisted she be allowed to cook after her earlier navigational blunder. Boars and deer which Mattie had hunted earlier were sizzling at large stakes by the bonfires, enough roasted meat for a dozen people. “You’ve really done a great job all by yourself, Leslie. Smells so good too!” Mattie sat down, careful to deposit her weight in a way that didn’t send tremors along the ground.
“Fufufu… You shouldn’t underestimate me, Mattie!” Leslie’s eyes sparkled as she shot a wink up at her friend, “I picked up many tricks from Bolo these last few months. Cooking for tons of people is easy as pie to me now!”
“I guess I do count as ‘tons of people’ now, don’t I?” Mattie chuckled, finally relaxing against one of the sturdier trees she had decided to sit in front of. Leslie grinned.
“You might wanna start with the deer. The boar’s gonna need another hour! You caught such plump ones, Mattie!”
Looking at the stake with the deer on it, Materia could feel her stomach rumbling. In fact, her stomach was big enough for Leslie to hear it even though she was across the bonfires.
“Dig in!” the energetic cook insisted.
After a filling dinner, Leslie made sure to set the boar aside since they didn’t do more than sample it; both of them too full to go through it. Two of the bonfires had been put out and without the steady supply of fuel the leftover trio gave off enough warmth for the girls, the occasional soft crackle of burning wood adding to the otherwise quiet woods.
From Mattie’s giant backpack, she produced a massive blanket for them to sleep on by the warmth of the fire. “This is actually my first time camping, you know,” Leslie said as she cozied up to her significantly larger friend.
“Is that right? What about when you ran away from Unity?”
Leslie answered giggling: “I actually hid inside that lonely wizard’s home while I looked for books, I slept two nights under his piles of magic tomes!”
“You…” Mattie cleared her throat after failing to stifle a chuckle, “…you really are incorrigible, Leslie. So what do you make of camping then? You already got the cooking part down pat.”
“Yeah, but I’m not much of a hunter! I’m more of a mushroom and berry picker, hehe.” The blonde stretched her arms, lying back against the giantess’ leg. “We make a pretty good team! Besides, I don’t think I’d wanna camp out all alone, that’d be scary!”
“Nothing to be afraid of. Animals naturally avoid crackling fire you know,” Mattie explained, “And I could teach you to make traps. You don’t have to face beasts all on your own if you’re not confident about it. You can make use of your other strengths to…”
“Nuuuuuuh…!” Leslie reached up along Materia’s legs to interrupt her with an annoyed whine. “I want you to take care of the hunting and the fighting and the scary stuff, and I’ll do the cooking and navigation and… support ya!”
“You’re being spoiled, Leslie.” Materia sighed down at the pigtailed blonde, but couldn’t help crooking a smile. “But I guess if you actually make a better effort at navigation I can work with all that. Camping’s more fun with other people.”
Climbing up onto Mattie’s lap, Leslie leaned against the giantess’ mid-section, pressing her face against the amazon’s abs. “Aren’t you scared?”
Pausing before she answered, Materia realized the question had been a projection of her friend’s own worries. She placed a hand on Leslie, patting her back. “Because of what that guy said about there being other demi-gods waiting to ambush me like he did? I’ll be fine. You know how strong I am!” she confidently lifted her free arm to curl it, exposing her bicep with a grin. The fingers on Leslie’s back curled a little, pressing with more firmness. “Plus, I got you around for support, don’t I?”
“Mattie…” Leslie blushed and hugged tighter, “Thanks for setting my mind at ease!” Jumping off Materia’s lap, she clambered over the giantess’ chest, scurrying up over her breasts to plant a kiss under her chin.
Materia followed Leslie’s movements with a palm, worried she might clumsily fall and she’d have to catch her. But Leslie had always been climbing her ever since the amazon had become too tall to hang around normally; she had built up her climbing dexterity already. And it was with that same ability that the village girl surprised Materia when she put her tiny hands on her cheeks and leaned up to press her lips to her own, much larger ones.
Shocked at first, Materia didn’t know how to feel when her summoner kissed her. It was such a bold attempt for someone who could accidentally get sucked up her mouth, too! And yet something about her traveling companion showering her with this kind of affection felt so right. With lowering eyelids, Mattie gave in to the smooch, gradually leaning back with enough ease of mind to put her hands down on the ground and let them slide back with her.
Leslie knelt over Materia’s upper chest, making sure to tighten the grip on her friend’s huge head to avoid falling off the kiss. Her heart was racing, but she could hear the powerful thumps of Materia’s so close to her chest. The wary giantess was barely moving her lips, allowing Leslie free roam to explore the outside of her friend’s mouth.
After holding their breath for a minute, they stopped. Leslie pulled back, “I’m glad you let me do that. I always thought it’d be hot to kiss a demi-god…”
Mattie couldn’t help but frown, “Am I like a fantasy to you?”
“…you didn’t let me finish!” Leslie giggled, “I always thought it’d be hot to kiss a demi-god with gold eyes, gorgeous tan skin, firm muscles…” she enumerated with a wink.
“You can stop,” Mattie laughed, “That was pretty smooth.” She put a hand up, stroking a finger over the blonde’s back, flicking with just enough strength to mess her pigtails, “You know, I really appreciate your company all these months, Leslie. You might have been the reason I’m stuck in this weird place, but you’ve made finding my place in Sizarra easy.”
“Well, I already knew mine since I saw you kick butt, Mattie!” Leslie shook her head. The headbands holding her pigtails flew off with her golden locks gently fluttering down over Materia’s fingertip, “And that’s why I’m here. I absolutely didn’t want ya going away on me for so long!”
With red color brightening her cheeks, Materia couldn’t help but meet those blue eyes with a bright smile. The giant hairband keeping her dark ponytail flying off with a thud, she glanced down at Leslie with a roguish smirk, “And you call me corny.”
They separated only for a moment to rid themselves of their clothing. Mattie could feel Leslie’s gaze upon her body as she stripped, giant armor pieces and padded clothing being discarded like titanic layers. Thanks to the size she had taken from her earlier assailant, her body now could breathe easy. Her toned muscles were a delight to the smaller blonde: Well sculpted biceps that surged just a little with every flexion, defined laterals that gave her otherwise smooth back muscular supplement, six perfectly formed abdominal mounds making Leslie regret she couldn’t reach up high enough to touch them right now. And then, as if stretching forever upwards, Mattie’s legs were like a pair of 15ft. tall monoliths endowed with sturdy yet womanly shape with thick, powerful thighs flaring out at the hips. With modest although notable breast size, Materia was equal parts femininity and strength.
Had they been the same height, about the only area Leslie wouldn’t have been outgunned in was her chest. The blonde had recovered some of the weight she had lost months ago now that their village wasn’t being starved. The cross-leg sitting Mattie could appreciate Leslie’s sinuous shape under the dim light of their camp. Plump of bottom and bust, and with just the right amount of padding at the center, Leslie was the definition of a pretty village maiden. Baring it all to her champion, Leslie seemed uncharacteristically silent and demure, standing by the bonfire with a look of expectation.
Mattie picked up on it and softened her gaze with a charming smile, “You’re beautiful, Leslie. Um… but are you sure you want to…?”
Intercepting Materia, Leslie began to clamber over her legs, “The best time would’ve been when we met,” the blonde said in a hushed tone, blushing as she ran a hand over Materia’s thigh, eliciting a moan from the giantess, “At the rate you’re growing, I don’t think we should wait much longer, Mattie.”
Of course, Materia had no counter-argument. Leslie’s advances had left her hot and bothered. Her legs began to spread, gradually exposing her vulva to the pretty villager. As they exchanged glances one last time, Mattie gave Leslie a worried look. The anticipation was killing the massive woman.
“I’ll be careful, Mattie. Now just relax. You’ve been working so hard for all of us,” Leslie said in a hushed tone as she moved closer to her friend’s swollen nethers, her sex positively inviting. “Always risking your life in battle, and all I’ve been doing is cheering you on. That’s been very selfish, hasn’t it?” Leslie grinned, “It’s time I pay you back a little!”
“Leslie, it was no big deal. I live in Unity too now, I had toooaaaaah…” Materia tensed up against the trunk she was lying back against. Tiny hands experimentally glided over her pussy, making the giantess gasp with vulnerability she hadn’t felt in a while.
Despite her excitement, Leslie was bashful at first. The sheer amount of womanhood she had before her was staggering; she thought if she wasn’t careful she might end up slipping and falling in. But she steeled herself past her own rising arousal and decided to be as responsible as she could. “She deserves this,” Leslie told herself, gently applying force to the vertical slit with her arms. Loud, wet squelching was muffled by Materia’s moans of pleasure, indicating she was doing well so far. Once the flower’s petals had opened, Leslie didn’t take long finding her first target.
“Leslie…” Mattie’s hands were twitching. Leslie was so small yet the sensitivity of her genitals was anything but minor. Her legs were vibrating like jelly as she forced them to remain spread, not wanting to accidentally squish her lover between her gigantic thighs. Similarly, she brought her arms back, holding onto the tree trunk behind her to keep herself from intruding. All Materia wished to allow herself was to sit back without interfering for fear of hurting that eager village maiden.
“Nngh!” the giantess’ fingers dug into the makeshift handle behind her suddenly, the bark of the tree trunk cracking under pressure. Materia's pelvic region did a spasm in response to the stimulation, her moans filling the air. Leslie had begun rubbing three of her fingers over Materia’s exposed clitoris bulb, needing almost an entire hand to give the giantess the equivalent of a single finger worth of stimulation. “Thu-that feels good…” Mattie whimpered, eyes clenching shut.
Encouraged by her giant lover’s moans, Leslie scooted closer to follow up on the treatment, but the inevitable accumulation of sexual moistness on Materia’s skin caused her to slip on her thighs. Falling forwards with a squeak, Leslie snapped forth with an arm in an attempt to grab at something, catching herself at the last second. She heard a hiss followed by a muffled groan coming from up above, prompting Leslie to pull her face back from the wet flesh she had planted her countenance against. It was only then the blonde heard a different sound she hadn’t heard before, like a wet squelch, almost like a suckling sound. Her arm felt warmer and stickier than usual, too, as if stuck inside of some sort of cavernous…
“Eee…!” Leslie screamed in shock, attempting to pull her arm back outside of the giant pussy in front of her. “Suh-sorry, Mattie! I slipped I…!”
“Duh-don’t…” Materia said weakly, her legs still vibrating like crazy. It didn’t take Leslie long to realize Materia’s tongue was hanging out and she was panting, eyes hazy with pleasure. “That felt… so good…”
And that was all Leslie needed to hear. With a sure grip on Materia’s inner thigh, she huddled herself as close as she could to the crease between thigh and groin, ensuring she’d stay as stable as possible as she experimented with moving her captured arm inside of her lover’s hotbox. The more Leslie wiggled her arm, the louder Materia’s moans grew.
With a pleased grin, Leslie took the chance to learn how to satisfy the giantess properly, leaning in to nuzzle those parted lips, enjoying the gentle aroma wafting out from her champion’s cunt. She gave Materia a few licks here and there, using her entire arm as the penetrating agent necessary to stimulate her oozing tunnel.
Mattie was in heaven and hell simultaneously. She couldn’t believe just how adept somebody so small could be at sexually stimulating her, but she also had to be extremely careful not to react in a way that had her crush or otherwise hurt her partner. Materia was stuck between letting go and enjoying the mind blowing experience and having to hold back to avoid doing something they would both regret. However, her willpower was strong and it allowed her to measure the bliss, to sample it more effectively even if the yearning for release was like an incessant reminder that she needed to cum.
But Leslie didn’t disappoint her. Even when her arm inevitably got tired, she pulled back only to shift her position and introduce her other arm to piston it inside of Materia. Soon, the blonde grew bold enough to throw caution to the wind and add her tired arm to return stimulation to that throbbing clit, massaging it while using it as an anchor at the same time. Leslie could feel the heat emanating from Materia’s vaginal folds: She did not want to fall completely in there, no matter how tempted she might be to use her entire body to please her friend.
“Kyaaaaaaah…!” an uncharacteristically high pitched scream passed Materia’s lips. The tension in her legs was dispensed by slamming both of her feet down, sending a violent earthquake through the ground. Her orgasm hit her so hard the tree behind her snapped in two, but Materia was quick to shove it backwards so that it wouldn’t collapse on top of her, always mindful of the little one between her legs.
The torrential volume of juices squirting out gave Leslie a bath that quite literally covered her from head to toe in feminine cum, forcing her arm out and knocking her back on her friend’s left leg. Exhausted, Leslie couldn’t even put weight on her sore arms to prop herself back up. “Sounded like you enjoyed yourself…!” she said amidst panting for air.
“’s not fair…” Materia grumbled drunkenly, her drool laden tongue still sticking out.
“Huh?” Leslie was about to ask, but all she could do was follow up with a little whine as Materia’s large hand pulled her up. The giantess sat up and stared her down with a mischievous, toothy smile which Leslie had never seen before. “Muh-Mattie…?”
“’s not fair I’m the only one who gets to cum,” Materia smiled, bringing the smaller girl closer and closer to her lips. Leslie prepared to kiss Materia, but instead her giant tongue lashed out, licking her up as if she was getting a lapping from an enormous dog. “I taste good.”
“Mmnngh… y-you do…” Leslie admitted, shivering all over. Now she was half covered in her champion’s saliva and sexual juices. And yet this only managed to turn the village maiden on more. “Are you going to lick me clean, Mattie?”
“Mmhm.” Materia didn’t leave Leslie waiting for long. Soon she was dancing with her tongue all around the smaller blonde, leaving no spot unattended. The tip of Mattie’s tongue prodded the sensitive spots: Her neck, under her arms, the small of her back, her petit yet round behind… When Materia reached Leslie’s breasts, she stopped to give her nipples extra attention, making the captive in her inescapable grip squirm in pleasure.
Leslie’s moans were as cute as her usual energetic demeanor. She was at the mercy of that giantess and all she could do was wail and beg for more. Her giant lover promptly acquiesced, tickling her belly just a little before heading down to give attention to Leslie’s vagina. That little hole would never be able to be penetrated by Materia, but that didn’t stop her from using what she could of her tongue tip to molest it. Scooping up the trickling juice, Materia went for broke, wanting her lover cumming.
That night, their love making alternated between them going at each other while the other caught a break from their intense yet awkwardly lopsided fun. As the hours of sexual gratification piled on however, their excitement met an end when they realized every time Materia came, her body reacted by growing a little bit bigger. Once Leslie reached the point only by sticking both arms inside of Materia would get her off, they had realized their folly.
That night, the magic of a sexually charged evening had left the two newly forged lovers with an even tighter bond. And an even bigger giantess…
“I… I don’t suppose there was anything in that book saying that demi-gods grow by getting down and dirty with it, huh…?” Materia was struggling to put back all of her gear. At near 40ft. tall, most of it didn’t fit anymore, even with Bellgrod having made sure to make it as comfortable as possible. In the end, the warrior’s gladiatorial outfit had to be sacrificed into a less protective and much more revealing getup that barely got through protecting her vital spots; with the bonus of keeping her just decent enough.
Leslie could only sheepishly grin at her immense lover. Part of her felt dumb for having allowed this to happen so soon after their journey had just begun, but another celebrated her genius; Materia did look super hot being this big after all! “It’s been a long while since I last read it, Mattie!” she sang out, getting a sigh from the giantess who crouched and offered her hand for Leslie to step on.
“What’s done is done, I guess,” she said, putting Leslie down on her shoulder like before, “No regrets.” She smiled and looked ahead, using her newly acquired vantage point when standing at her full height to peer over the forest and at Kalmuth in the distance. “Let’s get going. That gang needs a talking to.”
When Materia and Leslie reached Kalmuth they found a large city sprawling with an assortment of buildings ranging from humble abodes to towering lodges. Only a few of those reached the giantess’ eye level, her figure looming over the citizenry. Kalmuthians were a skittish sort, permanently on edge thanks to their life of subservience towards their less than benevolent rulers.
“I can’t believe this place is so well populated when people are this scared,” Leslie remarked while looking at the hiding people.
“Probably doesn’t help a near 50ft. tall woman is visiting them unannounced,” Mattie quipped, but Leslie insisted.
“No, I don’t think it’s you that’s making them nervous. Well, it’s part of it I’m sure!” Leslie corrected herself before continuing, “They aren’t just scared, they’re sad! Mattie, we seriously gotta talk with this Gang of Four!”
And it was thanks to Materia’s new height that it didn’t take long for the Gang of Four to give her a warm welcome. Except they didn’t even announce themselves, greeting Materia with booming, hyena-like laughter and thunderous attacks.
The smallest of the four was a 20ft. tall female demi-god, with their leader being just under Mattie’s height by half a dozen feet. It was immediately clear to Materia that there would be no explanation or reasoning given to her about the living conditions of the Kalmuthians.
“Big mistake coming to Kalmuth, lady!” cried one of the gang as she jumped at Materia with an oversized club made of chiseled rock.
“Big mistake, big mistake!” chanted a more feral demi-god, aiming to claw at the visiting warrior’s ankles.
“Give us your size! We promise you we’ll find you a good place in our lil’ community, hehehe!” the leader seemed ready to cleave Materia with his giant sword, but was letting his subordinates ‘play’ with their prey.
If all she was going to get was aggression from that size-thirsty gang, Materia thought, she was going to have to alter her plan of giving that gang a talking to. They would still get it. But it would be a very physical discussion.
With the experience of having fought two demi-gods larger than herself and having taken out a third by chance, Materia made short work of the triple threat. With Leslie cheering her on and acting as her eyes on the back of her head, their combination was unbeatable. A string of kicks and swift chops reduced one of her foes, and she tossed the second demi-god into the third.
The folly of the Gang of Four’s leaders became evident only too late for him. As their visitor expertly dispatched opposition, he was forced to watch his unconscious subordinates vanishing under their suddenly oversized clothes as they shrunk. And that warrior only became bigger and bigger.
By the end of the assault, the gang’s leader found himself underfoot of a near 100ft. tall Materia, her clothes all but ripped tatters stubbornly clinging to certain parts of her body. With a blush as she used her arms to cover up, she ground her feet down on the leader whose blade couldn’t even scratch the giantess’ feet by now. The useless way in which she was being poked by the suddenly too pathetic giant elicited a small grin from Materia, who until now had been grumpy about the sudden attack. “Gotta say I don’t appreciate your sense of hospitality! Wanna give up or should I turn you into a splatter in the floor?” she threatened.
“I give…! Ugh…! I give…” the gang leader finally conceded. The bout was over as quick as it was begun, with Materia several dozen feet taller than she had arrived. The feeling of growth became more intense with every demi-god she drained, making her relish the body-encompassing tingle each time it happened. The rush she felt when overpowering the brutish yet inept fighters truly had no equal. Mattie was starting to enjoy her level of unbeatable strength which was now even higher thanks to having been fed by the power of four more giants.
“Mattie, be careful. You’re growing too fast, you’ll crush him if you don’t step off…!” Leslie reminded the basking Materia. The latter realized what she had been doing before the gang leader turned into a man too tiny to her, too insignificant for her strength and size not to instantly wipe out. She stepped away and hopped onto the largest, emptiest space she saw, remembering why they had journeyed here in the first place.
“Thanks Leslie. I almost made a mistake I wouldn’t have been able to take back, there,” the warrior thanked her new lover, who rose up to kiss her neck.
“I would never let that happen to you, Mattie!”
And with that, Kalmuth became liberated. Its people swore their fealty to Materia, who insisted they should elect their own leader and talk with the village chief in Unity in case they wanted to work out treaties. This was what their journey was about: Defeating the bullies and offering the weak options. And that became the solidified cause that fueled the pair’s determination.
Neither the towering Materia nor the accompanying Leslie wanted to see people suffer unjustly at the hand of power-hungry demi-gods, but they didn’t want to dictate those same people’s destinies. Just like with Kalmuth, they offered each village and city they liberated from tyranny the choice to be free, with the option of trading with Unity. Everyone was welcome and none was forced. As usual, Materia offered her defeated foes the choice to put their abilities to the betterment of their communities, or to head over to Unity in search for jobs in case their communities would not tolerate their presence any longer.
With her increasing height, it became increasingly easier to subdue enemy demi-gods. They came at Materia with every intention to steal her gargantuan size, even when they hardly made it to her knees or ankles, and they ended up 5ft. tall with all their size funneled into her. Mattie loved her increasing power, but Leslie was always there to pull her back from the brink of abusing her strength. Together, their goal of liberating the region was steadily becoming a reality.
And with every demi-god defeated, Materia grew and grew. Each time her clothes burst or became unbearably tight, they would stop and open Mattie’s increasingly larger backpack from which Leslie would produce materials and cloth salvaged from the ensembles that were simply too big for those Materia had defeated and taken their size. Now an accomplished seamstress for her champion, Leslie would sow patchwork outfits to ensure her friend did not suffer from the cold and kept her as decent as possible.
By the fifth week, Materia measured upwards of 180ft. tall, most treetops barely making it to her knees. Leslie now asked for cooperation wherever people would offer it to make more patchwork dresses for her supersized friend. Materia’s name had spread far and wide as the benevolent demi-god slayer, even though she insisted she killed nobody. Villages everywhere expected their massive savior, and she did come to their rescue.
It looked like peace and quiet was no longer only a dream for the world of Sizarra…
After a satisfyingly successful exploration campaign, Leslie and Materia made their triumphant return to a transformed Unity.
“They’re back!” one of the villagers shouted the moment Materia came into view, “Leslie and lady Materia have returned to us! And our champion is more powerful than ever!”
“Sounds like they missed us!” Leslie kicked her legs back while lying across Mattie’s shoulder, amused at the sight below them, “Gee, everyone looks like ants now!”
“Welcome to my world,” Materia muttered with a little snicker, standing a few hundred trees away from Unity. Thanks to her new size, the return trip had been significantly quicker, but somehow Materia still felt the need to gently lie her giant backpack down next to her feet, as if announcing to everyone: “I’m back.”
The village had grown into a proper city, huge protective walls erected in a rectangle around it. Smoothly paved roads allowed merchants to come and go with their horse pulled wagons full of goods.
Multiple living quarters had given rise to small yet numerous neighborhoods, separating houses and inns from the work sector where smiths, sculptors and other craftsmen developed their trades. What surprised Materia was a third sector which counted with barracks and what seemed to be a small army that Bellgrod had no doubt been responsible for. She attributed the defensive walls to the assassin she had encountered at the start of her journey but was further shocked when she saw demi-gods pacing about, entering and exiting buildings seemingly made for people of their stature; and they weren’t trying to fight Materia for her size!
It was during the recounting of their journey with the mayor of Unity that Materia learned her exploits had not only sent able fighters and eager contributors, but demi-gods uninterested in the battle for power had decided to join the expansion effort of their precious city.
“We’ve been waiting on ya, girlie!” Bolo was the happiest when cooking, as usual, and the moment he heard Materia had returned he had his ensemble of chefs to wheel out his latest creation. With all the demi-gods that had moved into the city, they had gotten used to both hunting and preparing giant beasts for larger morsels. “Y’all hafta tell me if ya like this! The boys got us prime behemoth leg!” his big grin seemed to vanish into a pause as even though half a dozen men were required to carry out the giant platter with that fragrant limb roast, it looked like finger food to Materia, and she reached down, collecting it and eating as such. Getting a finger licked OK sign from their champion though gave Bolo his wind back, “BACK TO THE KITCHEN, BOYS! We feast tonight!”
“Ahh! You return to us, lady Materia!” Bellgrod came running once the drills for that morning were over. Whereas she had been expecting him to ask for tales of all her battles, he appeared insistent on following him to the barracks. Specifically, Bellgrod stopped her before a covered monument of some sort. “While you were away, I made sure to whip all these fine warriors into shape. Our defenses have been impregnable! But all the while I couldn’t help but believe this was not enough of an effort to show my appreciation for your kind generosity all those weeks back. And thus…”
“Bellgrod, what did you…?” Materia found herself crouching to look down at the large, covered object. It was easily the size of a small house, making the towering warrior think they had erected a statue of her or something. However, when the curtain was pulled off, Materia was left in shock.
“WOW!” Leslie practically screamed up into Materia’s ear. “That is the biggest weapon I’ve ever seen…!”
“It looks so well made!” Materia’s eyes sparkled as she reached down to pick up what Bellgrod had revealed. The former demi-god let out a throat-clearing cough.
“…of course, I could not have presumed to know you would return to us this much larger,” Bellgrod seemed to be hiding a blush of embarrassment beneath his face covering hand. “I thought to present to you this mighty battle axe to aid you in any of your future battles, but it appears to be little more than a tomahawk to you, m’lady.”
“It looks badass, Bellgrod. Thank you!” the giantess said, tossing the giant battle axe up and down, getting a feel for the grip and weight. “This must’ve cost a fortune to make!”
“Naturally! However, most of it was covered by our new resident demi-god smith, Kennan!” Bellgrod explained, making Materia think back about the demi-gods of varying sizes she had seen before. She was surprised to hear some of them were actual artisans! But that made it eager to get to know all of them.
“I want to meet him, Bellgrod. In fact, I think I want to get to know everyone new in town!” Materia lifted her battle axe in hand, feeling butterflies in her stomach after learning all of her efforts with Leslie out there had paid off so well! There was an entire world out there that needed their help, but they seemed to be on the right track to save it!
“Ever the socialite, Mattie!” Leslie giggled, “Do you think you can put me down now? While you make the rounds, I wanna go help Bolo cook all the stuff I’m gonna feed ya tonight!”
Leslie skipped off happily with Materia following her until she was out of view. Her heart still beat strongly for her lover and she wanted nothing more than to have their first celebration being back in Unity together.
Bellgrod was ready to arrange the meetings, but everybody in Unity suddenly stopped when the ground started shaking violently. Materia’s new size had made tremors inevitable, but this was nothing short of an earthquake; and it was getting closer.
“Looks like the introductions are going to have to wait…” Materia frowned, cursing her luck. All she had been wanting was a chance to fully relax after her long journey, but one glance cast over their forest told her that wasn’t going to be the day. A silhouette in the distance was fast approaching them, not by running, but by walking in insanely long strides.
“Oh Gods… she’s even bigger than lady Materia!” said one of the lookouts from the vigil towers at the walls. Materia didn’t need magnification to confirm the truth: This was going to be the biggest invader yet; and by now she was convinced this one wasn’t here to courteously say hello.
“Sound the alarm! Evacuate the non-combatants!” Bellgrod made Materia smile as everyone in the village worked together to get ready for the incoming incursion. This hadn’t been the first time they had been invaded, after all. They now had protocols which helped Mattie’s mind be at ease. With the speed of that gargantuan female coming at them, there was only enough time for Materia to help the villagers with evacuation, her only preparation being in the form of Bellgrod’s gift. Soon, the new giantess was upon them.
It was a snow-white skinned, young looking girl, quite the contrast to most demi-gods Materia had run into in her short time in Sizarra. The giantess made Mattie look small with her 300ft. height. There was no way to clothe someone that big, so the invader was completely nude. However, she was decent thanks to incredibly long dark red hair whose locks managed to go over her chest and privates. Each of her mighty stomps felled a multitude of trees, her toes stopping only a few trees away from Unity’s walls.
Materia’s heart skipped a beat when, for the first time in months, she had to crane her neck back to look up at that gargantuan redhead. “Who are you?” asked Unity’s champion as she steeled her gaze.
With a yawn, the larger giantess dismissively replied: “It doesn’t matter. I’m here to crush you… and this village.” The way the redhead droned made Mattie focus on the mysterious giantess’ face; it was an innocent looking face, the face of a girl who had skipped many siestas. The only blemish in the redhead’s otherwise flawless countenance was the overdeveloped bags under her eyes, indicating great levels of exhaustion and fatigue.
“Wait, why? We don’t want any trouble here!” Materia insisted, but the other giantess didn’t seem interested in talking it out; just like most of the other demi-gods. However, something struck her as strange. “Why do you have to take out the village too?”
“Because there are other demi-gods in the village. Gunna stomp ‘em… that’s what I’m told to do,” the girl explained mid-yawn again, “Stomp ‘em and grow… and stomp some more.”
“I’m not gonna let you hurt anyone here!” Materia promised, clutching her battle axe tightly, but her enemy was already lifting her right foot above her.
With nearly glazed over eyes, the tired looking redhead murmured: “Then I’m gunna stomp you first…” and took her first step into the city.
“NOW!” Came a shout from under Materia, who widened her eyes in surprise. The moment the redhead’s foot fell onto the first barrier, a bunch of thick metal rods erected from the ground, stabbing the gigantic foot back.
“What is this…?” the redhead wobbled a little, regaining her balance at the very last second. Her sole ached, making her retreat a little.
“Go, lady Materia! We’ll give you an opening!” Materia recognized the assassin’s voice coming from below. So that’s what his expertise had brought to her people! No, it he was part of Unity now too. And she couldn’t waste this opportunity.
With a rain of flaming arrows prickling the invader’s legs, Materia leapt at the stumbling redhead, climbing up along her much larger body. “This… this isn’t good…” the redhead groaned, arms flailing as she was chased back by an incoming series of spiked rolling balls which the arrows set on fire.
Like a primate climbing a massive tree, Materia slung herself up high, using her opponent’s weight difference to her advantage. Blacking out the sun for a brief moment in her somersault, the seasoned demi-god warrior brought her own weight down on the distracted giantess, knocking her down with all of her might.
“Ooof… aaah…!” squeaked the red haired titan as she was tripped back, falling down with a colossal thud. “Nnngh…” she was ready to get back up, but Materia knelt down on her sternum, pushing her down while holding the edge of that battle axe to her neck. Those baggy eyes were suddenly open wide. “…are you going to kill me?” she asked, for once showing concern.
“That’s not my style,” answered the armed giantess, “And I don’t see value in killing someone who’s clearly following orders. I don’t remember ever going out of my way to make enemies so tell me now: Who sent you?”
“Someone much, much bigger than you… and me.” The floored giantess said, and Mattie could almost not believe her. It had taken the help of Unity for her to get a victory this fast and decisive, but the redhead was almost twice her size! If her boss was even bigger, she was afraid even the fortified Unity and its people wouldn’t escape as unscathed as they had just now. The breeze almost ominously stroked both of their hairs in the wind, bangs breaking eye contact for a single moment.
But Materia wasn’t about to allow herself to get intimidated this deep in the game. She glared down at her foe. “Who are they? And what do they even want?”
Another exhausted yawn. The redhead seemed uncomfortable all of a sudden, but she seemed too weak to even get Materia off her. “She’s the biggest demi-god in all of Sizarra. She sent me to squash you and your city down. Doesn’t like competition even though she’s much too strong for…”
“Basically, she’s the one in charge of how everything in this place works, huh?” Materia interrupted, convinced that relating size to authority was the way of the world by this point. When she got a quiet, surprised nod from the redhead, Materia followed: “I’ll take her down.”
“O-oi, what are you saying…? Don’t you know what you’re saying?” the 300ft. tall giantess seemed more awake, her soft voice cracking for a moment. “We have no choice but to keep playing her game. She will take your size and you will die! That’s why someone like me follows all of her whims. There’s no escape once you’re “in”.”
To her scared foe’s remark, Materia couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. “That isn’t right. There is an escape to this game. I’ve seen it- experienced it multiple times. Many of the villagers down there used to be demi-gods, and they surrendered their size to me. They live normal lives now!”
The redhead’s eyes froze, “What…?” she said in disbelief, looking around and head to the village she had attempted to stomp and crush underfoot. “But I was told…”
“You’d have your size taken and that you’d die, huh?” Materia fumed. She hated liars with a passion. “Trust me, that’s not how it works. You might’ve been killing and getting bigger from it under her orders, but I don’t think you’re actually a bad person. You’re just scared stiff. But you don’t have to do as that bitch says anymore.”
“Ruh-really…?” tears were beginning to form at the redhead’s eyes, “I… I haven’t slept in weeks. All I’ve been doing is focusing on staying alive, I… my life hasn’t been my own for so long…”
As she watched Materia put away her weapon, the larger giantess followed her movements in detail. First, Materia jumped off her and stood beside her, then, she offered a hand to her. “I’ve decided. Your boss is going down. And I’m going to need all the help I can get so… I’ll let you hide here. My people will keep you safe while I take care of our mutual problem. Does that sound good to you?”
“Yes… yes! Please!” When her hand touched Materia’s, the usual light show started. The redhead’s aura phased out of her and into the winner as the former conceded. Rapidly the once titanic invader began to shrink down while her size poured into a swelling Materia.
As usual, Materia was overtaken by mind-blowing pleasure; this time the most she had felt since her victory over the Gang of Four back in Kalmuth. The raven haired giantess moaned out loud as she practically exploded out of her rags, cloth tatters raining down all over the forest as Mattie grew and grew, soon matching her benefactor’s height before rapidly overtaking it! With over 295ft. being absorbed into Materia, she was soon so big that the tallest tree barely reached her ankles now! The city of Unity down below looked downright diminutive to her now.
Exhausted with relief, for the first time in weeks the redheaded invader fell into a deep slumber.
475ft. tall now, Materia had been left hopelessly and permanently nude. However, for once she didn’t fall to self-conscious shame. Instead, she cast her gaze out as far as her eyes would allow her. If her simple breathing was causing the entire forest to rustle, she couldn’t imagine the tremors that much larger ‘boss’ would cause just by speaking too loudly. “After months in this world, now I know who calls the shots.” Mattie thought to herself, deciding she would only wait until that girl told her where exactly she would find the one responsible for this world’s cruel ways. She felt it was her destiny to put a stop to the unfairness once and for all.
Bolo’s hollers resounded from the kitchen in the center of town. He came out laughing and in great cheer, followed by all his cooks carrying a veritable feast that could feed over half of Unity in the biggest marble tray ever. When he came out earlier only to see Materia standing taller than ever, his jaw further dropped down realizing his feast would only compare to a light appetizer to their great champion. Thus, the spread had become of epic proportions. “If yer gonna fight that big of a threat, you better eat ‘n drink ‘n have your fill, girlie!” the big cook spoke out as Leslie came out from behind him, waving at her colossal lover.
“Mattie, I made your favorite!” the pig tailed blonde shouted, before whistling up at her, “Looking good in your birthday suit, by the way!” she teased, receiving a few other whistles from the others.
With a deep blush, Materia gave up on trying to keep her decency anymore. But despite being self-conscious about her nudity now that the confrontational high had vanished, she was slowly starting to forget there were thousands of pairs of eyes looking at her naked body. It helped that she could hardly make out the voyeurs to begin with. “And so what…?” she told herself, mustering up the courage to be shameless, “They have their champion, and they like the way she looks!” Mattie told herself, smiling.
Indeed, the people of Unity had gathered around their truly gargantuan champion to celebrate her choice of facing the biggest demi-god, even when she was seemingly out of her league. While sitting down, Materia was like a small mountain to her fellow citizens. She thanked them for their help and their candidness, but she truly showed herself euphoric when they surprised her with a 50ft. tall flagon the smaller demi-god villagers had prepared for her.
Vast amounts of ale had been prepared, enough to supply the whole of Unity twice over; and for good measure too! They knew theirs was a thirsty champion.
That night, Unity was shaken by thunderous quakes as Materia drank and joined in the merriment. She hadn’t moved from her spot in the middle of the forest to the north of town, yet every minute gesture was enough to send the ground trembling. Each gasp of post-drinking relief rustled the treetops below her. Even with Materia having had enough sense to party at the outskirts, her surroundings were still hazardous for tiny people.
But the villagers didn’t seem to mind. Leslie, in particular, took advantage of Materia’s inhibitions lowering to propose games she simply knew Mattie wouldn’t have agreed to had she been sober. It wasn’t long before the massive woman was turned into the world’s most impressive living obstacle course, with everyone racing to climb and run here and there on the giggling, drunken giantess’ sturdy body.
Leslie, of course, took part in the festivities, directing more than one eager man and woman to follow her to those erogenous zones she had become so intimate with. “Whoever makes her moan the loudest wins…!” the blonde, just as drunk as everybody else, was still eager to bring relief to her new lover. And of course, she now needed the help of others to even come closer to succeeding!
Letting drunken hiccups, Materia could only lie back on the forest, laughing her head off each time someone slipped on her breasts from her ticklish shaking and fell into her cleavage. “That makesh… seventileven…! I win!”
“Haha, you’re not the one racking up points, Mattie!” yelled Leslie from much deeper down, knowing exactly how to tweak her gigantic bulb to get her to scream. “But we’re all winners tonight…!” she sang just as Materia’s juices flowed over the city gates to her lustful scream.
Unfortunately for the builders, although many of them were playing the lewd drunken games too, they had all underestimated Leslie’s tale about her having triggered a growth spurt on Materia by loving her. Their physical worship of the giantess had endowed her with even more power, magnifying her size to a well-rounded 500ft. tall during her orgasm. On the one hand, Materia was now even stronger for her future quest. On the other, she was too drunk to realize her feet were approaching Unity, bowling over the moist gates and raking a good chunk of the barracks out with her growing feet and legs sliding over it all.
The city of Unity, after all, was no stranger to needing post-celebration repairs. Even though they should all have been concerned about the level of destruction Materia could bring, albeit accidentally, they were too euphoric about celebrating their mighty champion to care.
Even when Materia shifted positions and ended using the wrecked part of Unity as her bedding to finally take a rest, the villagers continued to party their souls out. Danger came and went in that city, but nobody could say Unity did not know how to celebrate.
After having escaped death multiple times, Materia wondered exactly why it was that she couldn’t escape hangovers as easily. “I’m not touching a drop of alcohol again in my life…” she groaned, shielding her eyes from the morning sunlight with an arm. “Ughhhh I feel soooo sick…”
“You drank us all under the… bridge, after all,” Leslie wobbled atop Materia’s left breast, making her lover squeak and grunt when she started using her nipple for support; fighting her own hangover. “But don’t worry, Mattie. Hang on, help is on the way, hehe!”
“What do you mean help…? Who…?” Mattie’s speech was slurred. And the fact even hearing the birds singing was irritating her made her cut her sentences short. “Mmngh…”
“Prepare the medicine, everybody… lift it up to her mouth, please!” a familiar, feminine voice rang out, but Mattie instantly regretted moving her arm when the morning sun hit her face.
“Is that…” Mattie paused, not because she was surprised the girl from last night was finally awake, and before her, but she had never actually learned her name. “Uhhhm… what’s your name again?”
“She said she didn’t remember, Mattie! So I started calling her ‘Fel’!” Leslie chirped, “Because I saw her fall really hard yesterday!”
“Don’t go naming people like that, jeez!” Mattie tried chastising but Fel was quick to interrupt.
“It’s fine, thank you,” the redhead said, “I was never given a name, and I’ve always been on my own. Being under the Wolf Queen’s thrall was exhausting, but being named by you and finding a way to be useful to my savior is… well, liberating, I must say! Feel free to call me by that name from now on, Materia!”
“Uhhh, okay… alright,” Mattie was too dazed to argue, or even entertaining discussion. Her heart felt like it was constantly pounding. “…you were saying something about medicine?”
“Right! I know several alchemic recipes. After learning what a particular… evening you all had, I took the liberty of making hangover medicine for everybody,” Fel explained, “I only had enough for a few villagers, but they were kind enough to help me procure more ingredients so that I could make more. And what your friends are about to give you is a more potent version of it. Do you think you could help yourself to a good gulp of it, Materia? Carefully, though. You might make them slip and fall…”
Finally braving the cruel morning Sun, Materia grumbled and looked past her breasts. She had been feeling those tiny feet walking over her stomach, but now she could see a huge stone bowl with sloshing pink liquid inside. “You made all that for me…?”
“The least I could do, Materia. You did say I was under your protection!” Fel explained, “Now please take it and then drink some water so that the potion begins it work!”
At first, Materia doubted anything could save her from her headache, but it was that pain that made her drop any preconception about medicine she hadn’t heard about before. Following Fel’s instructions, Materia first took that stone bowl off all those helpful villagers and gulped down its contents in two quick swigs. Once she was sure nobody was on her, she turned to the closest source of water and crawled over, dunking her exhausted face into the shallows of a nearby lake.
Bit by bit, the lake was sucked out, dried up by the parched Materia who, upon quenching her thirst, arched her back with a sigh of relief. “Bwah…! Oh man, that felt great! That water tasted extra sweet!”
“Looks like my upgraded recipe works quickly! I’m so glad!” Fel seemed pleased with herself, playing with one of her long locks of hair. “I didn’t believe them when they told me how much you’d drunk last night, but Unity’s champion is more than just a fierce warrior, hmm?”
It occurred to Mattie she had never stopped to think what public opinion of her was, but in this context she wasn’t in any hurry to learn. “Thanks for your help… Fel.” Gently turning herself around, Materia loomed over Unity once again. She carefully brushed the debris which had stuck to her skin on the side she had slept the previous night and slowly scooted away from town. Despite the destruction, the villagers still waved up at her; clumsy as she could get, she was still the reason they had a city. Materia thought she’d have to start trying even harder for their sake, as she didn’t want to be the reason they lost all they had built!
“Are you seriously going up against her?” Fel drew Mattie’s attention down. The alchemist had closed the distance between them to be able to properly speak.
“Of course she will!” Leslie said, sliding down over the titaness thigh and down her leg until she landed on the foliage.
“When did you get there…?” Mattie asked, but tracing the movements up to her thighs, she quickly snapped up: “Please don’t answer that.”
“Mattie’s unbeatable! And she gets even more unbeatable with every demi-god she beats up!” Leslie insisted to Fel, whose response was a casual shrug.
“I was bigger than her when I invaded, but also only a fraction of the Wolf Queen’s size,” the redhead explained, “You have a long way to grow if you’re thinking of ‘beating her up’.”
Before Mattie could answer, Leslie huffed out: “Then we’ll find even more demi-gods to beat up so she can grow! Right, Mattie?!”
“It’s not that easy. How many demi-gods do you think get as big as I, or Materia is right now?” Fel rested a hand on her hip, gesturing dismissively with another. “The vast majority of demi-gods in this region and the next, where She resides, don’t get any bigger than 50ft. tall. It’ll take you ages, if they even allow you to find them at your size.”
“Well how come you were so huge? You were waaaay bigger than 50ft. tall, Fel!” Leslie demanded.
“I was under her direct employ,” Fel nodded, “And I was close to being plucked.”
“Wait, plucked?” Materia repeated, squinting.
“It shouldn’t come as any surprise, Materia,” Fel closed an eye, this time shrugging with both arms outstretched, “She coerces demi-gods to work for her, steal others’ sizes, and then she devours them, taking all of what they got for herself.”
Materia fell silent for a bit. She cast her gaze out into the horizon again, her mind drawing the silhouette of an all-consuming, shadowy lupine looming over everything. “She must be humongous, that queen of yours.”
“As I said, I was only a fraction of her size. And that means you’re hardly up to her level, but…”
“But?!” Leslie cried out dramatically.
“But I have a way to help!” Fel pointed skyward with a sagely nod. “And it’s in this bottle.” Leslie’s attention was drawn to the wide sleeves on Fel’s robes, the alchemist producing a flask full of a strange, glossy red looking liquid. “The reason I got to my previous size was I found a way to accelerate the process.”
“Are you holding a potion?” asked Mattie as she leaned down to get a better look at Fel. “Wait, did you actually make yourself into a demi-god?”
“It was an experiment… but one I wasn’t able to continue conducting since I used myself as my guinea pig.” Fel snickered, “I attracted the Wolf Queen’s attention immediately, and she enslaved me. Her agents are always watching. They told me there’d be nothing of me left if I stopped gathering size for her. It’s been a sleepless month…” she yawned.
“Aw, poor Fel! But is this really going to help Mattie?” Leslie curiously poked at the flask, watching the sloshing red liquid. “It looks like strawberry liquor.”
“It’s a powerful reactant. I’ll spare you the alchemical details, but…” Fel rubbed under her chin, “I’d say it should give you an edge. Its multiplicative properties should take all the size you’ve accumulated thus far and increase it. However, I wouldn’t take it right now. It’d conflict with the medicine you took just now.”
“A-ah… thanks for the warning. So wait until tomorrow?” Materia patiently nodded, wide-eyed, as if speaking to her doctor.
“You really are going…” Fel smiled, handing out the serum to the eager Leslie, “Yes. I’m afraid you’d need way more size than what my serum can grant you, but it’ll draw from the same demi-source already inside of you. Its final effect on your size will be directly proportional to how big you are.”
“In other words, even with more dosages I wouldn’t get any bigger than it’ll make me with the first…” Mattie frowned, getting a nod of confirmation from Fel. “I still appreciate all you’re doing, Fel. I’ll make sure to give her a good ass kicking for you and everyone else.”
“You’re so dreamy, Mattie! I’ll carry this for you!” Leslie said, stashing the heavy flask into her bag. “How are you feeling?”
“Like I don’t want to wait another second.” Materia smiled down at Fel and Unity behind her. She scooped Leslie up in her hand and deposited her best friend on her right shoulder, “I think I saw a mountain range to the northwest of Kalmuth on the way back. Is past there where the next region is?”
“That’s right,” said Fel, “At your current size it should take you maybe a day to cross over. Once you cross that mountain range, finding the Wolf Queen shouldn’t take long. But the problem is she’ll probably see you arriving, too.”
Smashing a fist into her palm, Materia smirked. “I’m counting on it.”
“…I honestly can’t tell whether you’re exceedingly brave or foolish,” Fel took a deep breath, but she gazed up with a big, hopeful grin. “Please take care and…”
“Return to us safe, Materia!” the cheer of the people of Unity came out like a roar. Fel turned back with a surprised look, but understanding how all of them were also at stake, she immediately joined in on the cheer. Feeling invigorated by the trust of her people, the giantess turned to her destination and prepared to leave.
It was time.
The forest was left behind in no time. As the sun shone down on the adventuring couple, Materia stopped to soak up the warm rays, joined by Leslie who outstretched her arms and bathed on the warmth atop her giant lover’s shoulder.
“Sizarra’s a pretty place,” Mattie said softly.
“It is, isn’t it?” Leslie grinned, “It’s crazy how you’ve been here for half a year already. Don’t you miss home?”
“I do but… I think they can manage without me,” Materia rested her hands on her hips as she looked over the country, “You guys need me way more. Especially since I’m the only one who can fight demi-gods. Say…” she paused, turning to look down at the tiny blonde, “Can I ask you a question?”
“Shoot!”
“Well, you’ve seen demi-gods all of your life. People of varying sizes, but always bigger than you. You’re pretty tall when compared to the rest of the people back in Unity, Leslie,” Mattie remarked, “Before Bolo, I was considered super big where I come from, so I’ve always been towering over people here. But you… would you like being this big?”
“Are you kidding? It would be the best!” Leslie brought her arms up in cheer, “You look so cool and sexy, and nobody can stop you! And and… trees are no match for your feet, and everyone’s always respecting you!”
Chuckling, Materia couldn’t help but entertain that line of thought. “So what would you do if you were a demi-god?”
“Hmm,” the blonde seemed in deep thought for a moment before kneeling up on Materia and resting her knuckles on her sides, sticking her chest out. “First I’d find a huge lake and then I’d do like, the biggest cannonball ever! Can you imagine the size of the wave that’d make?!”
“Wouldn’t that kind of destroy everything around you though?” Materia inquired, the excited Leslie bouncing on her knees.
“I know! It’d be so awesome! You’d come watch, right?” Leslie grinned, getting a confused stare from a rapidly blinking Mattie.
“Yeah uh… I guess?”
Their journey north was a lively one. However, night fell before it was over. The mountain range Materia had to cross looked like a rocky hill compared to when she had first seen it. It overlooked the great Kalmuth plains, which was where the girls decided to camp out.
The second week of summer granted a pleasant amount of nightly warmth, which the naked Materia appreciated. She wanted a good night’s sleep to ready herself for the upcoming battle. Her body was in agreement, and even thought she wasn’t feeling particularly drained she was soon snoozing under the starry sky.
A mischievous Leslie, however, did not feel like going to sleep yet. Instead, she stole through camp, climbing Materia’s face and standing on one of her cheeks. “She’s so cute when she sleeps!” the village maiden thought to herself as she reached into the satchel she had brought with her. “I know she said she’d take it tomorrow before the fight buuut…” with a roguish smile spreading her lips, Leslie uncorked the flask and began to pour its contents into Mattie’s mouth.
The effect was more immediate than even Leslie could’ve hoped for. The little villager had to scramble all the way up to Materia’s head before she grew too big, wanting to stand on the side of her head but she was only able to make it to her right ear lobe to hang on for dear life. “Yes! Go serum, go! Make my Mattie grooooww…!” she sang in her head, watching the ground getting farther and farther away. Growing past 700ft. tall, then 800… 900… Before Leslie knew it, her lover had doubled in size!
But then she truly exploded in size, covering the plains with her body as she grew bigger and bigger and bigger! The sleeping beauty expanded over the plains, her body crushing everything underneath. Nearby glades were buried under Materia’s toned body. Animals escaped from those advancing feet simply razing everything underneath. On the other extreme, Materia’s head steadily approached the mountain range, which started looking like a bundle of rocks from a small quarry next to her.
At the very end, Materia had grown just over half a mile tall. Now hiding inside Materia’s ear, the satisfied Leslie peered down at all the expanse of land Mattie covered with her hot, sturdy body. She was going to sleep much, much better that night.
As always, Materia woke up at the crack of dawn, feeling warm sunlight tickling her exposed skin. “Mmnghaaaah…” the gargantuan woman groggily sat up, stretching her arms. “What a good night’s sleep!”
“Ditto!” Leslie agreed, surprising Mattie with how well she could hear her friend. It was more than clear! “Are you feeling alright, Mattie?”
“Oh yeah… I think the second my body hit the ground I just lost consciousness. Good! Now I’m feeling super psyched up!” the warrior said, flexing an arm with a grin. However, something was bothering her. “Was Leslie yelling? No, that was still soft…” she thought, “Weird, I’ve been having trouble listening to her even while she was riding on my shoulder but now it’s almost as if her voice was coming from inside of my head.”
“Yay!” celebrated the happy Leslie, “Then that means Fel’s potion worked really well!”
Closing an eye from the loud shout, Materia gradually got up to her feet, standing up to her new height. Leslie’s usual cheer was easy to play along with. “Yeah, she’s a real miracle wuh…” the raven haired colossus stopped as she looked down, noticing swirls of gas dispersing around her waist, fluffy cotton shapes floating in the distance “…wuh-what the hell?!” A deep, intense sensation of vertigo suddenly gripped Materia as her brain tried to comprehend the shift in perspective. Everything was so tiny, minuscule! The ground was so far away all of a sudden! It was all Materia could do from fainting and hitting the plains again.
“Surpriiiiiise!” Leslie giggled, “I didn’t wanna wait until you woke up so I tossed the serum in your mouth while you slept! I made my favorite monster huuuuuge!”
“Monster?” Materia huffed, stomping the ground heavily enough to create a foot-print shaped crater on the plains.
“You can’t see it because I’m in your ear but I’m hugging you, Mattie! Hehe! You’re a fearsome, giant monster now, just like the Wolf Queen, rawr! But I bet you’re the prettier and sexier of the two. No doubt in my mind!”
Fighting off her exasperation with puff and a roll of her eyes, Materia mumbled: “I didn’t have a chance to enjoy all that growth…” while she stomped towards the mountain range; an insignificant hurdle to her by now.
Thanks to her new size, crossing the regions was a snap. Without trying to, Materia left enormous footprints on her trip further North. Cities from the new region could all see the immense demi-god looming over everything. Unbeknownst to Materia and Leslie, new fans were sprouting everywhere, especially with all the skin that giant woman was baring.
Finally, Materia stopped within four mounts from the largest mountain she had ever seen. It was at the very center of the Wolf Queen’s region, and by the looks of it the mountain itself had been torn and carried to that specific location. And sitting pretty atop that gargantuan mountain was none other than the Queen herself.
“You have to be joking…” Materia gasped, eyes shocked wide. There was the Wolf Queen and she was a black, red striped anthropomorphic wolfess. “I didn’t expect her to be a literal wolf!”
The Queen was of mind-blowing size. There was a short tuft of hair adorning the wolfess’ crown, right between the ears. Her eyes were closed, cheek resting on her knuckles. Toned musculature pushed out biceps, abs and flanks over the smooth dark fur, while a curvaceous waist, wide hips and a modestly large bust cemented the creature’s femininity.
The fluffy tail covering the smaller mountains to her side like a furry blanket began to twitch, stirring and swishing. Eyes of red opened followed a fang-filled grin parting the Queen’s maw open. “So the alchemist failed,” her voice sent tremors under Materia’s feet, making the human giant take a step back for stability. “I must thank you for bringing all of her size to me. She was almost ripe, you see!”
“She’s… wow… I have no words! I didn’t know creatures like her existed on this region, Mattie!” Leslie exclaimed, staring out from the safety of her friend’s ear. “She has to be like five times bigger than you are! Will you be okay?”
“She… does look strangely cool sitting on that mountain like a throne, actually.” Materia murmured. Between the husky voice and that full, toned figure, the warrior couldn’t help but admire the Queen’s beauty as well. But she shook her head and focused. Raising her voice, Materia asked in a demanding tone: “Are you the Wolf Queen?”
“Or Miranda, if you prefer,” the wolfess gestured dismissively with her free claw.
“I’m Materia Bannir!” the warrior pointed at herself with a thumb, “I’ve come a long way from the neighboring region. Miranda, you’re the one making demi-gods fight each other so you can continue to grow bigger, aren’t you?”
“Guilty.” Miranda chuckled, “I’ve been at it for a long while too, as you can see. It feels so good, so liberating to grow larger and mightier, doesn’t it, Materia?” the wolf’s tail began to swish behind her, chunks of smaller mountains starting to get torn off by the movement. “But after so long, after getting so big, the feeling starts becoming dull and insignificant. As I grow bigger so too does my hunger for size evolve. So, instead of boring myself taking the size of many ants, I allow them to bloat themselves like pigs so that I can better sate my appetite. It’s so entertaining too, watching you all fight for me!”
Greatly annoyed at the wolfess’ selfishness, Mattie didn’t want to burst out in anger. “What about the normal people, though?! Their lives are constantly in danger because of your games!”
“One in a few hundred are born with the potential to accumulate demi-source and grow beyond the constraints of nature,” Miranda explained, “They evolve, they compete and better themselves. Those at the apex become better by taking! The others who don’t compete go against this world’s rules. Nature must run its course.”
“Your title is Wolf Queen, not Mother Nature, last I checked!” Mattie pointed at Miranda with a scowl, “There’s nothing I hate more than a bully, and you’re the bitch queen of bullies. I’m gonna kick your fat ass off that throne right now!”
But before Materia could take a step forwards, large shadowy figures assaulted her from the sides. “What the?!” she hardly had time to react, being sent reeling back from a mighty blow. Using a hand to press up against the mountain range behind her was what allowed Materia to stop from crashing into the rocks.
A couple of howls rang out across the mountainous area, but Miranda was still sitting there, not doing much more than arrogantly smirking at her. “You’ll have to forgive my pets. They get antsy when upstarts show they don’t know their place.”
“Puh-pets…?” Materia propped herself back up on her feet, looking skyward as the immense figures landed ahead. The ground shook violently, forcing Materia to shield her eyes as dust and debris was knocked up. When the cloud dispersed and she could see again, Mattie realized what Miranda had meant. Two feral-looking giantesses snarled at her on all fours. She couldn’t measure them properly, but even hunched over they were just as big as she was; and they showed to be incredibly fast despite their size. What immediately stuck out to the warrior was Miranda’s pets weren’t anthropomorphic wolves, but they still had the tail and ears of them, with claws instead of nails and sharp fangs like their owner.
“It’s been a long time since you’ve had any fun, hasn’t it, Millie, Marla? You poor girls,” Miranda brought a hand up, snapping her fingers, “Have your fun! You deserve it, haha!”
With beastly snarls, the wolf girls combined an assault on Materia who had no choice but switch to defense. “If I can just find an opening in their attacks…” she thought as she attempted to deflect incoming claw attacks from Millie, but Marla came from behind slashing her back. “Nnghaahh…!” the human giantess groaned in pain, suddenly missing all the clunky armor she used to wear. Her skin had become tougher as a result of all the power she had absorbed, but those claws could’ve slashed granite apart! Her body was safe only because she was so ridiculously strong, and it still hurt! “There’s two of them, I can’t find any opening like this…!”
Without any other choice, Materia found herself running away with those giant pets giving chase. The queen’s region violently quaked as the three giantesses duked it out in changing environments, from major cities to abandoned kingdoms, crushing forests and snow capped mountains under their bulk as Materia dropped to roll to avoid many of their attacks.
While Materia couldn’t get a single attack out, she realized the pets’ movements were starting to get sluggish the more she gave them the slip. “Miranda was right. Being this big, they probably haven’t hunted in quite a while… they must be out of shape!” She was exhausting them. However, Mattie wasn’t exempt from tiredness, especially after having taken so many direct blows already. “Have to finish this quick, it’s the only way! But…”
“Outta the way!” Millie yelled, smashing entire acres of woodlands under a mighty swing that Mattie easily leapt away from. “You’re making me miss, Marla!”
“You’re making me miss, Millie! Get out of my way!” Marla yelled back, snarling at her partner. Their panting obviously showed their level of physical exertion, but Materia was starting to observe a surging advantage she hadn’t considered before. With a grin, the human giantess prepared her plan by charging straight at the annoyed pair. Before she could tackle them, the wolf girls jumped out of the way, each in their opposite direction.
“Are you the best Queen Bitch has to offer, really?!” Mattie yelled at them, receiving threatening growls from the servants whose mistress she was insulting. “At least your kicks actually hurt!” she added while staring down at Marla.
Millie snarled even louder, “I’ll show you a kick that hurts!”
“Hah! I told you, you’re only in the way, Millie!” Marla howled victoriously, “I’ll shred her apart, offer it to the queen and THEN I’ll get praised!”
“In your dreams! She’s MINE!” Millie roared, kicking off into a speeding dash towards Materia.
“I say to get out of my way!” Marla screamed, breaking into a dash as well.
With both blindingly angered mutts rushing over her, Mattie smiled to herself and began to crouch. “Please let this crazy idea work…” she tried to calm down, closing her eyes and focusing all of her strength on her legs. Time seemed to slow down as she used all of her perception to feel out the violent quakes coming at her from both sides.
When she had the opportunity and not a second before, Materia jumped off into the air, avoiding Millie’s kick and Marla’s swipe, each finding a new unintended target. Dazed from the other’s strength, the wolf girls had no time to react as gravity pulled Mattie down, who stomped the larger giantesses’ head and sprang herself higher still! She did a somersault, holding her elbows out before plunging down with all of her power. “Bad girls! …SIT!”
With a dual whimper and an earth-shattering smash coming from the giant wolf girls, Materia found herself panting on top of her grounded foes. “That could’ve been real bad…” she thought to herself, thanking her lucky stars her gambit had paid off. But with victory in the mind, she quickly pressed her hands down on Millie and Marla’s heads. “Concede already so that I can kick your mistress’ toned butt next!”
“We…” Millie sputtered.
“…concede…” Marla continued shakily.
Mattie didn’t allow herself to relax, her brain racing with battle strategies she could employ against Miranda once she was done growing larger. But just when she thought she had something, she heard the wolf girls utter something unexpected in unison: “…to our queen!”
“To your… queen?” Materia blinked her eyes in confusion, watching Marla and Millie rapidly dwindling out of sight as they shrank all the way down to five foot tall, just like all the other demi-gods she had absorbed. However, unlike all those other times, Mattie quickly realized she hadn’t grown. “They lost all their size. But I’m not growing! Then where did it all…” she paused, her eyes freezing as the ground began to tremble, “…go?” she finished half-heartedly, glancing up.
An incomparably gargantuan silhouette began to rise above her, blocking out the very heavens. It was Miranda, now twice her original size, her right foot paw raised above Mattie. “…no!” the warrior was in such deep shock at the turnabout that she had no time to properly react. The foot came down just as Mattie’s hands pushed up, but the attempt to stop a paw that was just as large as she was tall could only end in failure.
“Oh no. Look what you’ve done. My poor little pets,” Miranda’s voice parted the highest of clouds, its loudness generating earthquakes with every syllable. “But they were delicious, so I’m not going to kill you. Instead, I’m going to defeat you just the same way as you’ve defeated all other demi-gods. And I’ll slowly drain every last inch until I can never see you pathetic ants again.”
Suddenly pressed down under the wolfess’ sole, Materia struggled to breathe. “Mattie! Oh my God!” Leslie cried out helplessly, “Why did Miranda grow? She wasn’t the one to beat them!”
“Thu-that’s my line!” Mattie could barely wrap her arms around a couple of Miranda’s clawed toes. She could hear the gigantic wolfess chuckling from up above. “That smug bitch took the size I was about to get! I’ve never seen this happen before!”
“I haven’t, either!” Leslie admitted. “This wasn’t supposed to happen! I… I wanted you to win so much, Mattie! I believed so hard. I’m sorry I…”
“Wait! Leslie, that’s it!” Mattie interrupted, “They wanted Miranda to win, they funneled their size to her because they wanted to!” she grunted, clenching her eyes and starting to focus. “We thought size goes from one demi-god to another because of defeat, but that’s not how it works! I just… nngh…!”
“Mattie! What are you trying to say? You’re…” Leslie’s eyes began to widen as her body started gathering heat. Her dress was starting to get tight, “Oooh… ooooh…!” she began to moan, losing her footing and falling off Materia’s ear. “Ahhh…!”
Gradually and steadily, Mattie started shrinking, becoming wedged between those monstrously large toes. Seeing as though her own decree about size was answering her will, Materia seized Leslie in her hand and focused on splitting her size between the two of them. Leslie exploded out of her clothes, soon outgrowing Materia’s grip before they both ended hidden between Miranda’s toes.
“What’s going on down there? Did you start shrinking already, little twerp?” taunted Miranda from up above.
Suddenly around a thousand feet tall, a rattled, sexually aroused Leslie couldn’t stop moaning in Materia’s face. “Get a hold of yourself, Leslie! I know how good it feels but I need your help!”
“Muh-Mattie… I’m just as big as you are. This is incredible!” Leslie remarked, hugging her lover tightly. “It’s like a dream come true!”
“Listen,” Materia grabbed Leslie by the head, keeping her steady, “This will quickly turn into a nightmare if we don’t focus. You have to get away…”
“No! I’m not leaving you behind! Are you crazy?” Leslie hugged Materia closer, squishing her much larger breasts on her partner’s. Pushing the clingy blonde back though, Mattie growled out.
“Will you listen to me?! I want your help! I’m not asking you to abandon me, Leslie…” Materia shook her head, “I found out how this works. Demi-gods can willingly give up their size to anyone they want. That means if we can find and convince more of them to help us…”
“We can get you really, really big! Ohmygodyes, that’s a great idea!” Leslie grinned, getting a nod from a smiling Mattie.
“You’re a demi-god now, too, so it should work. Get as big as you can and then send that size back to me. I’ll survive until then! C’mon,” Mattie purred, giving her lover a quick peck, “Make your monster grow.”
Leslie didn’t have to listen to any more. She was still worried about Mattie even after she climbed down from Miranda’s toes, but she was a woman with a mission. She resolved to not look back as she ran away as fast as she could while her partner stayed behind to deal with the power hungry monarch.
Knowing it wouldn’t take long for Miranda to find Leslie running away, the exhausted giantess summoned all of her strength to climb the giant wolfess. She clambered over her titanic, fluffy bust, using it to springboard into the air in front of her. For a moment, those gargantuan crimson orbs seemed to be peering into Materia’s soul, unnerving her. “Eyes up here, lady!”
“There were two of you?” Materia snickered, watching Materia hover in the air in front of her for a moment. As gravity began to pull her down, the wolfess lazily sighed, “That was sloppy of me. Maybe I’ll have to try against you, after all.”
“Wouldn’t have it any other way!” Mattie announced as she slipped down into the wolfess’ cleavage, making the much larger giantess let out a grumpy growl.
“Oh please. Don’t start acting like a perverted flea, will you? I will pop you like one.”
Mattie didn’t have much choice in strategy. She knew she was far too small to deliver any impactful attacks, especially now that she was so small. “But if I’m too small for her, she won’t be able to find me as easily…” she concluded, reducing her size by a few hundred feet while projecting it in Leslie’s direction. “This is making me feel queasy… but it’s the only way. I’m still big enough to annoy her! …just like a flea!” she grinned.
“I can’t believe this. You’re the first one in decades to attempt to face me, and you do so by shrinking of all things?!” Miranda had to squint to be able to detect the relatively insect-sized Materia springing off her knee and onto a mountain. “Don’t hide behind those little rocks.” She lifted a paw, sending it crashing down. The mountain shattered under so much pressure, but Miranda could see that bug hopping onto the neighboring one, as if taunting her. “Is that really your game? Hiding in mountains? What are you going to do after I finish crushing them all underfoot, mm?”
Materia knew the answer to that already, and she was afraid. She was still exhausted from her battle with the wolf girls earlier; adrenaline borne from her own survival instinct was the only thing fueling her battered body right now. She only hoped it would be enough time for Leslie to do her thing.
“Mmmmnnghaaa…!” Leslie clumsily ran through the land, stumbling from the pleasure of another, unexpected growth spurt. She was now about 1200ft. tall, making her quite a sight to behold. It took all of her willpower not to stop and look back; she could feel the earthquakes from Miranda’s stomping even when so far away! “Demi-god villages, demi-god villages…!”
Casting her gaze out as far as it would go, Leslie continued stumbling with wobbling legs. She wasn’t used to the brusque shift in perspective of being so huge; and yet she loved it. “C’mon Leslie! Big builders, really big builds! Um, would those be… no, they’re smaller than my toe. I’m looking for something… ankle level maybe? Jeez! This is so hard!”
In the middle of her frantic search, Leslie skidded to a halt next to the region’s largest lake. She was pulled back by an overpowering sensation of need all of a sudden. “When am I going to get a chance for this again? CANNONBAAAAAALL…!” she cried out as she leapt into the lake. The resulting spout razed the lake’s shores, with a huge wave giving animals and bystanders the most exciting water splash ever.
Entirely soaked, Leslie stood up, her enormous, glossy breasts bouncing atop her chest. The lake had lost about sixty percent of its volume, but with all the footprints Materia had left in her travel, rainstorm would more than compensate her little dive. “Yay.” She softly whispered, shaking her head and splashing water everywhere, “I’m cooled off now. Needed that so bad! Okay… demi-god cities, demi-god cities…!”
After running around like a headless chicken some more and leaving a confusing track of giant human footprints over the region, Leslie finally arrived to a city with A demi-god. It was a 60ft. tall woman who looked terribly minuscule next to Leslie. “Alright, um… how did that speech go?” Leslie took a deep breath before blurting out the first thing that came to mind. “Please give me all your size! It’s for a good cause!”
“What are you talking about? Aren’t you going to stomp me for it?” the confused and small giantess asked, getting a shaking of the head from the massive Leslie.
“My friend’s fighting the Wolf Queen! She needs our help!”
“The Wolf Queen?! Oh Gods, is that why she’s become even more massive…?!” the 60ft. tall demi-god looked out into the horizon where Miranda’s mind-bogglingly large figure continued her rampage with the invisible Materia. “Are you two out of your mind?!”
“Yes! But that’s not the important part! We found out we can give her more size, give her a fighting chance, and we don’t have to stomp anyone for it!” Leslie’s words came out like rapid-fire shots, leaving the demi-god even dazzled.
“Giving my size to you voluntarily, without a fight? For… a good cause?” the woman dropped the axe she had been chopping trees with and gave one more look at the action across the region before looking up at Leslie. “I don’t want to be prey to the Queen. That’s all we demi-gods have to look forwards to. How do I help?”
“That’s a good question actually!” Leslie had no idea how Materia had imparted her with her power, and she was burning her neurons trying to think up a way. “Maybe if we hug? We were hugging when I grew!”
“A hug…? Mmmpph…!” the small demi-god squirmed as she was scooped up and hugged by Leslie, her cleavage practically engulfing her. Soon, the woman started shrinking while Leslie grew slightly bigger from the addition. Carefully, Leslie set the tiny, naked woman down and smiled.
“I think it worked! Thank you so much. I gotta go to the next place… uhhh… know any good demi-god settlements?!” Leslie remembered to ask. Upon being pointed away to the East, Leslie wasted no time and dashed off.
The quest for extra size had the once frail maiden traveling through the unfamiliar region, visiting villages and cities both large and small. She begged, she posed, she cried and laughed; all of what was necessary to convince the demi-gods to lend she and Materia their aid.
Leslie would dance for them, allow them to feel her immense curves, even rip out large ore deposits or bundles of trees that could serve as payment. Some didn’t even charge her anything, instead relishing on the presence of such an adorable if monstrously sized blonde being so earnest about helping her dear friend win an impossible battle.
And as a result, Leslie continued to grow larger and larger, leaving entire demi-god territories full of regular sized people in favor of her stature becoming that much more impressive. Halfway through her ascension, Leslie started getting worried about the lack of demi-gods and how, just as expected, their contributions were making less and less of an impact on her quest for enlargement. “It’s no good!” thought the 3,000ft. tall, “It’s just as Fel said. Run-off-the-mill demi-gods are too small for us now. But… oh, that’s it!”
With a perverse smile, Leslie took a seat where she could be seen across the entire region. She let out a sultry moan and engaged in lewd posing to attract as many deviants as possible. “I need your help, everyone!” she sang out with a needy, high pitch, spreading her legs open and holding her breasts up. “Climb me! Help me get off, pleeeeease…!”
Like moths drawn to a flame, waves of tiny people from all over the region made their way to that horny blonde, carrying equal arousal for that fair maiden’s divinely curvy form. Leslie bit her lips in anticipation as she felt an incessant crawling stimulate her body, feeling hundreds, thousands of little people climbing her body and making their way to their favorite of her erogenous zones to get cop a feel, to relieve their own fantasies or just generally worship that titan of a girl.
Overwhelmed by pleasure, Leslie didn’t take long to suffer a mighty orgasm like the one that had hit Materia during the last celebration back in Unity. Every nerve in her body flared up and jolted her senses with bliss. “Mattie… Mattie…!” she moaned out loud, thinking of her best friend, her champion, wanting all of the size she was accumulating to go to her. Leslie’s body was taking over the land as she went past a mile tall, rapidly closing in to the second. The bigger she got, the more people joined in worshipping her, their affections only making the sexually overcharged blonde explode with greater power.
By the time Miranda took note of the tremendously inflating Leslie, it was too late. “What the hell is this…? How did she even…?”
“Mattie! Take it aaaaaaalll…!” Leslie screamed out in orgasmic bliss once more, her voice ringing out across the region. And soon, the village maiden who had become the second largest demi-god in the history of Sizarra stopped growing, only for the process to reverse.
“So this was your plan all along!” Miranda stood amongst the ruins of her mountain court. A vivid, iridescent stream of energy arched over the heavens, crashing down into one point ahead of Miranda, who could only watch as her once insignificant prey rapidly began to swell back to her original size, only to surpass it with interest and match even the queen herself in grandeur. “Well played.”
Rejuvenated by the energies her body was forced to soak up, Materia cried out in pleasure. Again, she nearly lost her balance when the perspective of her world violently shifted, leaving her slouched and leveraging herself over one of Miranda’s many mountains. “My friend came through. As for you, Miranda…” the warrior tightened her grip, ripping off the chunk of rock straight out of the ground, crust and everything. She aimed it like a shank at the wolfess, “…you’re through.”
But Miranda didn’t seem concerned by the threat. In fact, she didn’t seem at all bothered by the fact Materia had matched her height. She was standing there, eyes half-narrowed, tail slowly swishing from side to side.
Mattie had readied herself for the throw-down of her life, but something in Miranda’s eyes matched the way she was feeling right now. It was no secret that the sensation of growth was a pleasurable one. Overloaded senses as her entire being stretched and elevated among the land was an easy way to end more susceptible to arousal. And in that eye-crossing moment, the battle adrenaline which had thus far fueled the proud warrior’s actions seemed to finally disperse in favor of raging hormones wishing for her to do only one thing.
What should have been the bitch fight to end all fights never came to be. Instead, Miranda and Materia both ended in each other’s arms, furiously making out while roaming their curvy bodies all over. They were soon on the ground, smothering the wrecked mountains under their combined bulk. All concern about Miranda’s species seemed to be ignored in favor of the candor of her burning loins. Miranda would never admit it, but it had been decades since she had been able enjoy any manner of intimacy in her endless quest for power. As a result, their interests became aligned with their shared horniness.
The region soon became a bed for the heavily aroused ladies. Sharing in nudity, it didn’t take long for their legs to intertwine, swollen vulvas coming into contact and making their nethers kiss. The giantesses moaned into each other’s mouths, grinding together in desperate attempt to get off on each other.
While Materia’s hands followed the curve of Miranda’s waist all the way up to her plump, fluffy breasts, the wolfess seemed content with fondling and kneading her new foe-turned-lover’s thick buttocks. Being a beast, Miranda’s grip was a lot firmer and commanding, easing Materia into humping against her without holding back. But Mattie wasn’t about to lose, pinching Miranda’s nipples hidden under the fluff, tugging on them until she was hearing the wolf whimpering in the midst of their tongue kiss.
It was this sexual competition that helped push the sexy giant women over the edge, experiencing their first orgasm which, combining each other’s demi-source, caused them both to start expanding. Sexual release engaged their very souls, multiplying the effect of all the size they had accumulated. They instantly doubled in size before surging bigger still. Entire swathes of land were buried under Miranda’s fluff, since Materia was on top. But a single orgasm didn’t stop them.
Initial intercourse had only done so much for the giga-giantesses amplified sexual appetites. Dozens of miles tall, they only continued ravaging each other with fierce passion, eager to indulge in bliss borne out of physical affection and the enlargement of their unstoppable frames. They never stopped to think, only grinding and humping, rolling around and squirting all over. The entire land was reshaped by their sexual encounter, lakes of fem cum and drool forming at the sole discretion of their depraved, joint act.
And they fucked and grew, and they grew and fucked. Hundreds of miles they elevated, switching positions and eating each other out while panting like bitches in heat. Their slutty moans desiring, craving all that pleasure they had become hooked into resonated across all regions. It was looking like the continent itself was going to be outgrown very soon, but inevitably, their flesh took its toll on them.
Mattie was on top again, sitting on Miranda’s snout when she felt the wolfess’ paw smacking her ass, as if tapping out. “Ughh… Can’t… this is so good… but I can’t… no more…”
“What’s… what’s the matter, puppy…?” Mattie taunted, even though she was also panting. Her swollen, pinkish muff still drooled juices over the exhausted looking wolf queen. “I’m up… to go another round… get even bigger!”
“Wuh-whatever…” the grumpy Miranda gasped, “I’m spent! Fine, you horny slut. You want me to concede? I will…” she murmured, her voice softening as she began to distend. “I guess I owe you for all of that…” she puffed, closing her eyes, ready for a nap.
“Concede…” Materia gasped, realizing what this would mean as she looked past the dark horizon where she could already see the twinkling of stars. “Wait, at this point?”
“Do… what you want… I’m done.” With those words, Miranda’s gigantic form began to glow. Suddenly all the size she had accumulated and recently refined through sex began to leave her. As the wolfess began to dwindle, Materia became the recipient of all that power.
The otherworldly warrior came instantly, giving Miranda one last parting gift of warm cum as the winner of their sexual bout suddenly was sitting on top of the entire continent. “Ahhh… ahhh…! This is too much… soo much… size… so much…. POWER!”
Iridescent light beamed out of Mattie’s eyes and mouth, her hair billowing up as the victor soaked up more and more size. It wasn’t mere physical size that Materia had begun absorbing any longer. Sizarra itself seemed to be conceding to her, allowing her to instantly process and assimilate energies beyond what mortals could comprehend.
As the planet’s outline became visible to the thousands of miles tall and growing Materia, she began to understand she was becoming a true catalyst for demi-source. The planet, which seldom granted some of its inhabitants with its energizing aura, had begun relinquishing control. Half the size of the planet, Materia fell down hands and knees pressed against the main continent, her glowing eyes allowing her to scan every single point where demi-source was located in the world. An idea occurred to her.
She focused on those recipients of demi-source, the demi-gods remaining in her region, the few who had refused to give anything to Leslie when she had asked. Materia cast her powerful gaze over the other regions and continents of Sizarra, deciding to take every last bit of power into herself. Her skin began to glow like the orange prominences of the Sun as she further ascended, matching the size of the planet. She was transforming into a goddess who was whole with the power of an entire world.
When her body finished processing all the size she had drained from the people of the world, demi-gods existed no longer. Only one giantess remained, the largest one to ever exist. She held Sizarra up above her head like a toy sphere, opening her mouth and inhaling. Sizarra was unharmed by the goddess’ actions, but the demi-source located within the planet’s core was fed to her. Like a famished worker before a buffet, Materia feasted for what seemed to be an eternity.
Her body continued evolving as Sizarra was drained of its corrupting essence. The planet looked constantly smaller floating between her arms, and soon was no bigger than a ball between her hands. The immense goddess’ skin was aflame, her hair having grown down to her waist in tendrils that crackled with energy. Materia didn’t stop absorbing demi-source until Sizarra was no different than a regular planet teeming with life, no longer afflicted by lopsided, random empowerments.
By the time her feast ended, Materia was standing on two empty planets, using them as stepping stones as she held Sizarra over the palm of her hand, the planet she had been summoned to so long ago now no bigger than a pigeon egg to her. “I am the most powerful being in this world, no… the universe.” Her thoughts projected out into the solar system, shaking the very stars. Those fiery, golden eyes of her could see out for innumerable light years. Materia could tell where in other systems she could find more demi-source to continue feeding her addiction to growth with. All she had to do was make her way across the cosmos and devour.
But no. She had to push aside those dark thoughts. “I can’t… I could be so much more than this but… No!” she was so aroused at the thought. Unlimited, unbridled, raw power! Steam was rising from her superheated womanhood, having orgasmed at the mere thought of obtaining omnipotence. The mind of a goddess was a that of an insatiable, all-consuming monster. Materia couldn’t allow herself to fall prey to that. “Leslie…” she uttered, steam dispersing around her eyes as she sobbed.
Tensing up, Materia gently guided Sizarra back to its original orbit. “I’m coming back to you, babe.” She said, aiming her open palm at the tiny planet. Iridescent energy began to pour out from the goddess’ fingertips, engulfing and redefining the world by her almighty will. A blinding flash covered the cosmos itself and when everything had been put back as it had been… Materia had vanished.
Sizarra was now a very different place. Demi-gods and the battle for supremacy among giants was not a thing anymore. The pain and destruction born of the Wolf Queen’s tyranny had been erased, the land repaired and given new life by the release of god-like energy. The average height of the inhabitants of the world had been readjusted, with the tallest of males averaging around 6ft. tall while the females could reach all the way up to 7ft.
Materia Bannir had decided to give up what had been shaping up to be eternally lonely godhood in respect of the memories she had built with her allies and loved ones. Her choice, her solution to the problems plaguing Sizarra would be questioned and scrutinized by scholars for centuries to come, but the otherworldly warrior never looked back.
“So what was it like, holding the entire world literally in the palm of your hand, huh Mattie?” Leslie asked, kicking her legs back while drawing shapes along the shores of a beach.
Relaxing on the night sands, a 180ft. tall Materia cast her gaze out at the stars above, her yellow eyes briefly burning with desire. However, she turned to look at her equally gigantic wife, smirking before pulling Leslie on top and cupping her breasts in her grip. “No big deal. Unlike these.”
“Eeeep! You perv, hehe!” Leslie squirmed, leaning down to peck her lover on the lips with a smile. “Thanks for keeping us giant, by the way. I like it better like this!”
“Wouldn’t you know it, I just had enough leftover power that had nowhere else to go.” Materia shot Leslie a wink, throwing an arm around her.
“Heh! So are we going to that party in Unity or not? We’ve been stargazing a while!”
“I dunno. Heard Bolo and Fel came up with a new kind of liquor. Coffee flavored. Really hard stuff. I’m not sure I should,” Materia laughed.
“I thought you quit drinking, Mattie!”
“I did, but they really know how to make good booze! Wanna go, still, even though you’ll likely have to pry the flagon off my hands?” the raven haired giantess stuck her tongue out playfully. Leslie giggled and flicked Materia’s nose.
“That’s what your loyal wife is there for,” Leslie got off Materia, helping her up before clinging to her arm. “Let’s go, everyone’s waiting!”
As they made their way back and started towards Unity forest, Leslie couldn’t help but whisper: “Should you really have given all that power up for our sake, Mattie? You could’ve even gone back to your old world…”
Stopping in her tracks, Materia stood perfectly still. Leslie glanced up at her wife with concerned blue eyes, but only met a soft gaze and a wide smile.
“It wouldn’t have been worth it.”
The End.
