Part 4

It's been roughly seven months since James returned from his mission in Africa. As for the wound he received when he protected Kazie has healed quite nicely. As James opened the door Kazie was the first of the group to step out of the large van.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to invest in a custom van so all of you can ride safely. This van doesn't have enough head room to be comfy and luckily I know someone. He actually owns a business that specializes in creating custom made vehicles. We'll pay him a visit after we're done and see how much a new van will cost." James stated. He could only imagine the price tag will be after he's done talking with Kenneth.

Deciding to worry about that later James and the others inspected the building. Starting with the first floor the human's reaction was pleasant there was potential. His plans to start his own business would be put to good use with all this space. Gerald had been watching his tenant with intrigue as he looked over every inch. "James, I can tell you love this place let's talk terms or do you need more time?" Gerald said.

"I'd like to check out the other floors first before I make any sort of decision. Besides Kazie and her troupe will be living here so they get to have a say here." James replied. Raising his hands up in defeat Gerald continued with the tour of the building. He made sure that Kazie, Ketria, Lenecia and Texra could understand the feline. The group made their way up to the second floor and hit a snag in the process.

Sadly the stair well wasn't wide nor tall enough for three of the women. Luckily Gerald knew a contractor that could make the necessary changes cheap. While they ventured to the third floor where all the gym equipment was stored. He called his contractor and scheduled him to swing by the place to discuss a job. Though James would swing by the hotel after paying Kenneth's shop a visit first. Gerald had to be taking James' new apartment contract to his lawyer so he said farewell. With some help from a clerk Texra was able retrieve everything she required.

Next James bought himself and the others some lunch before going to the hotel. "Welcome to Starwood Hotel, how many rooms would you like?" The receptionist asked. Where she explained to the manager what happened and apologized for it.

"Thank you for telling me, Ketria and for making the repairs Mr. Vomone. Even though you didn't have to we appreciate it do you have the receipt handy?" The manager asked. James reached into his pocket, gave it to him where he made a copy of the receipt. After getting the original back they went back to their room but, not unnoticed. "What the hell is that poor excuse for an ex-boyfriend doing here?" Callie pondered.
