Fallen Angels: Chapter three Cleaning up
Kira and Alex regain their senses and Kira reveals her affection for Alex.
So let me first of start by saying sorry for long wait I've been extremely lazy and holidays have been preoccupying my mind, I've mostly been putting it off day after day I think in the future I will write the stories then release them chapter by chapter instead of trying to write a chapter every 2 weeks, props to other writers. Secondly I'm not sure where I want to take this story I feel like it needs something bad to happen but I'm not entirely sure how or what should happen I have some ideas but they would make the story really long. last thing sorry for being tardy i'll try to write a bit more.
I felt the soft fur of Kira’s chest below me, slowly rising and falling as each breath entered her body. I felt Kira shift under me trying to reposition herself to a more comfortable spot.
“Am I too heavy?” I inquired.
“Not at all, just the bathroom tiles aren't the most comfortable thing in the world.”
I went to get up but felt Kira’s paws wrap around my back and pull me back down on top of her.
“Not just yet” she whispered into my ear.
“What about my errands? It’s already late. And i have to finish bathing you and have another shower myself.”
“Mmmmm they can wait, just 5 more minutes I promise then i'll release you” she spoke with a devious tone in her voice and tightened her grip on my back.
I let out a sigh, nuzzling back into her chest enjoying her warmth and the sound of her taking each breath, lulling me into a paralyzed state no thought going through my head, is this what love was? I have been with a few women but i never felt like i do when I’m with Kira even before today. She’s been there for me when it counts when i lost my job, when my Brother passed away and when one of my girlfriends cheated on me.
She was there always comforting me, cuddling me when i was sad, I couldn't recall a time when Kira wasn't there beside me. I should do something special for her as a thank you for everything she’s done for me and putting up with my crap for all these years but what to get her.
I felt a nibble on my right ear bringing me from my thoughts, I looked up at Kira those soft amethyst eyes looking back, they were dreamy almost hypnotising i watched as Kira’s tongue left her lips and touched the tip of my nose leaving a small glossy mark.
“Time to get up Alex”her voice soft and angelic.
“Guess I should finish what I started huh?”
I started to slowly raise myself off Kira but slipped on the slippery tiles. I was able to catch myself so i didn't land on Kira to hard.
“Wow I didn't expect you to fall for me so soon” she mocked.
“Hah hah” i retorted
This time getting up more carefully, grabbing a towel from the rack and placing it on the floor so there was no more slipping. Kira rolled over and climbed back into the bath sitting happily, a smile plastered across her lips waiting for me to rinse off her fur.
I grabbed the bucket next to the bath and proceeded to use the bath water to rinse off the conditioner. As i emptied each bucket onto kira’s back i used my hand to ruffle her fur and get most of the conditioner out. About 10 minutes later I was satisfied that I had done a good enough job and pulled the plug on the bath. I watched as the whirlpool of bath water slowly descended down the drain making a slurking sound as the last bit of water drained from the bath.
Once the water had receded down the drain, I grabbed the shower head and turned the hot and cold taps on adjusting to the right temperature.
“Not too hot?” Iasked
“A little warmer if you don't mind”
I readjusted the hot tap to reach the desired temperature
“Hows that?”
“Perfect.”
I started moving the shower head along Kira’s frame starting and her neck and working my way down. I got Kira to stand up so I could get to her underside and wash all the residual soap and conditioner that clung to her fur. I stood back and inspected Kira making sure she was clean once satisfied placed another towel on the ground for her to stand on.
“Come on hop out.”
Kira didn't say a word she just turned her head an evil grin forming across her muzzle. I watched in horror as she shook herself like a dog shaking water off spraying it all over me and the bathroom.
“Seriously Kira?”
“What? you said you were gonna clean the bathroom anyway.”
“Yes but now i have to clean the floor and the walls!”
She tried to do her best impression of being innocent
“I was just trying to help”
She nuzzled under my chin leaving a wet patch, her fur sticking to my skin. I let out a small groan how could I be mad at her, I guess it wasn't to bad, I could just run a towel over the walls, the floor was the hard part.Kira swatted me with her tail breaking my thought
“Am i supposed to drip dry or are you gonna get your butt over here and dry me off with a towel?”
“I almost tempted to, just for making more mess for me to clean up”
“Oh please dry me off, i'm cold and wet and I might get sick (cough)”she replied in her innocent voice
I grabbed the last towel from the drying rack and held it out, I was going to wrap it around her barrel and work my way around her but apparently she had other ideas. She jumped up on me putting her paws on my shoulders drenching me more than I already was.
“Kira come on”
“What’s the matter? your already wet. Also please wrap that towel around me, I actually am a little cold”
“I was about to dry you off but you wanted to jump on me”
Kira started to shiver I sighed it was obvious she was faking it but I wrapped it around her barrel anyway and pulled her close so our chests were touching.Kira went to kiss me but I turned my head she hesitated for a second then decided to kiss and nuzzle my cheek instead.
“What's the matter?” she inquired
“I'm just worried, if someone finds out about us, they’ll take you away and i don’t know what i’d do without you, I..I need you Kira.”
“No one will find out and if they do they’ll have to take me clawing, biting and roaring” she kissed my cheek and nuzzled under my chin once again.
“you’re my human and I’m your dragon, nothing will keep us apart.”
“Your human?” I asked
“Yes my human but also your dragon, I’m yours as much as you are mine”
“That was sweet and heartfelt of you”
“That’s cause I meant it silly human”
We stared into one another's eyes
“Does that mean I can have a kiss?” she asked
“I suppose but that's the last one for now, at least until I settle in with out new relationship”
“Deal, now come here” she leaned forward her lips touched mine time seemed to slow and for the first time I actually paid attention to how it felt kissing Kira, her lips were soft and warm it was kind of comforting. Our lips danced for a while time was lost in this moment, everything else just seem to fade away but it all came rushing back when we broke apart.
“I’m still cold” she spoke
“Get down and i’ll dry you off properly”
She got down and turned around, I started working the towel around her barrel working up to her shoulders then down to her rump. Once satisfied that it was dry enough I moved onto her legs woking my way down to her paws.
“Done, just don’t sit on the couch for half an hour”
“No promises” she cheekily replied
“Seriously the couch better not smell like wet dragon tonight”
“Well I can’t promise it won’t smell like wet dragon but it won’t smell like wet fur”
I rolled up the towel and wiped her rump. She let out a small yip and ran out the door, I followed her out.
“Stop messing about I have errands to run remember?” I watched as she walked down the hallway swaying her hips side to side while looking back with a seductive grin. Today was the beginning of a new chapter in our lives and I’m glad it happened, even if there was still a small amount of doubt hanging in the back of my mind.
