I finally finished something after several months of dead ends and life stuff. This is a prequel to the Full Moon’s Secret and A Secret Deal.

Idea #275: https://www.sofurry.com/view/2020898

In short, a nice quick romantic story with adult content. If you’re unfamiliar with the other two linked stories, it is about a human male secretly meeting a female wolf during the end of the day. Both are from different families, but managed to develop feelings for one another. Although it begins with a nervous feeling, there’s the potential for a big romantic intimacy between the pair under the secrecy of nightfall. Just under 6,300 words.

Edit: thank you for corrections!

I walked along the dirt road with a steadfast gait despite being completely alone. I didn't want to leisurely take my time. It was the beginning of summer and the heat was stifling under the direct sunlight. And yet, wasn't that long ago when I had heard the sounds of acorns crashing through the leaves above, signaling the start of fall.

'I cannot imagine being a field laborer this time of year.' I wiped my forehead, thankful to carry a very light pack, but didn't veer off towards the distant trees in search of shade. I was too nervous to slow down. I barely noticed a few deer a hundred or so yards away. However, I wasn't fearful of running into a wild boar, or bandits, or a sudden summertime thunderstorm.

'Wren will come through and alert me if anyone suspicious comes along this way before nightfall.' I thought about the red fox aide I frequently employed to help with business matters. He was loyal, and I felt indebted to him for this in particular. It also took a lot of trust to go through with it all. I considered myself very fortunate for it.

“I wonder if she will show up." I cleared my throat and continued walking along the field's unused dirt road. I felt giddy and scared about what might unfold, but I was determined nonetheless. I reminded myself that I wasn't crazy for going through with this. I wanted to meet Arwen the female wolf in private, however, such a meeting was unthinkable. I myself would never have thought of doing this less than a year ago. It was very simple: I was a Ginessi and she was a Wersu.

Humans and wolves had a testy relationship at best over the years, but the current generation were very close to conflict even over what should've been minor disagreements. Numerous feuds constantly simmered under the surface and could break out into a wider conflict if not contained. The lack of trust wasn't helped by the fact that humans and wolves lived very different lives.

'I made it.' A recently abandoned farmhouse finally came into view. The property had once been a vineyard at some point under human ownership before being sold to a raccoon family. Over the years it had fallen into disrepair and had been uninhabited for several months. It was a small rural area, far off the main routes used for travel, and perfect for meeting someone in secret. My nervousness return as I neared the buildings.

“No one else will be here. It'll be okay." I told myself despite my body saying otherwise. I still felt anxious about it all even though we exchanged notes after a verbal agreement to meet alone in person. Glancing around the small boarded up barn, villa, and once cultivated field revealed no signs. I didn't see Arwen or anyone else around.

'Maybe she isn't here yet?' I wondered. I clearly remembered telling her we would meet at the end of the day. I dropped my small pack by the barn facing the direction I had come from. I wasn't too sure when she would've head out, but it wouldn't take her very long to reach this place. Meandering, I appreciated the secluded location

'This is a perfect place to meet.' I felt proud for choosing it. The area was quiet and largely unbothered, even by passing vagabonds, if there were any. Thankfully there was no sign of anyone else inhabiting the area. I felt a little out of place on the countryside all alone. It reminded me of traveling along with the small spice caravan through wolf territory. The calmness and peacefulness of the countryside had a natural beauty, but there was always something to be done in a city or even a town. There was always noise, other people, and buildings. However, out here it was the complete opposite.

“People and wolves live so differently." I reminded myself and glanced around while walking through the grass. It was easy to imagine work being done at a vineyard, especially at harvest time. In a way it was sad to see the place in disrepair, and no longer in use. I paused and turned back around only to blink in surprise at a figure standing nearby at the edge of the field and house.

Covered in white fur and standing at nearly a full head taller than me, part of my mind naturally felt afraid at seeing her. I could recount many stories since childhood about how wolves could smell fear, their immeasurable strength, and claws sharper than iron. And yet, there she stood, wearing only her typical two button knee length cloak. It had been the same way when we were working together, although it had been some time since we had met.

I was locked into her golden eyed gaze. We simply stood and faced each other, her ears listening attentively. I wondered if she had spotted me long ago and watched, waiting to approach. The white furred wolf was difficult to read as usual, but I had a feeling that she was a little nervous like me. The silence between us was awkward, yet still enjoyable.

“Hello." She spoke first, making my heart leap.

“Hello, Arwen." I spoke up despite feeling dryness in my throat. “How have you been?"

“Hey. I'm alright. How have you been?" She measuredly spoke.

“I've been well. Has your family been alright?"

“Yeah, they've been doing well." She gave a nod only for silence to interrupt us. The quietness between us felt awkward, and nearly uncomfortable, but I enjoyed seeing her.

“It's different when business isn't involved." She placed a hand on her hip. I could see her claws visibly poking her cloak.

“Or others around us." I added.

“Hmm. Yeah." She agreed and glanced around. “I just got here so I need to settle down for a little bit."

“That's uh. Okay." I said. “I just arrived as well."

“If you're staying, then we can meet after nightfall." She quickly offered. My heart nearly jumped into my throat at the offer. I wanted to run up to her, and hold her wolffish hand like I had before. But all of the conflicting feelings kept me frozen in place.

“Sounds great. I'll see you then." I nodded and turned around as well only to immediately regret it. I wanted to stay with her through the rest of the evening too. My footsteps led me to around the barn to my belongings where I stood idly. I cursed myself for hesitating and not making a counter offer, but I felt it was for the best.

'She's just making sure neither one of us wants to back out.' I reasoned despite my heart still beating rather quickly. I paused to blow a pent up sigh before placing a hand on my chest. My heart was beating excitedly, full of passion and desire. I couldn't wait for the sun to set and the moon to rise…

***

Of course I couldn't relax as darkness settled over the countryside. I was sitting back against the barn wall, but I felt stiff as a board. I wasn't afforded any silence for my thoughts either with crickets loudly chirping all around me. The hooting of an owl added a touch of eeriness to the early night. A brief shudder stirred my empty thoughts as I stared at the starry night sky above, sorting through my thoughts.

'What am I doing here anyway?' I asked myself and released a pent up sigh. I was a half day's trek away from home, and felt so nervous despite coming so far. Being driven by my heart instead of my brain may have felt wonderful, but it felt dangerous too. Anyone in my family would've worried about me had they known I was out in the countryside alone during the night. An armed group would've been sent had they known who I was meeting.

Just an hour or so ago neither one of us had expressed anything more than nervousness. The secret meeting felt doomed from the start, but I didn't want to give up. I thought back to the little moments we shared during our lengthy travel escorting a shipment along a land route through wolf territory. Of course, it was all business at first, neither one of us trusting the other. As the days passed and opportunistic bandits lurked near, we loosened up enough to tolerate one another. There were other wolves present, even another female, but my eye was constantly drawn towards her.

It could've ended there without anything more to note once the shipment was delivered, but on our return I received the devastating news that my father had passed away in my absence. She comforted me graciously and we began to truly trust one another. My heart also developed strong feelings for her. We agreed to meeting in person and keep in touch afterwards which led to the note. All of those exciting times had led to this private moment.

A lingering cloud floated away, revealing the brightness of the full moon for the first time for the night. Its powerful glow enveloped the entire area in a silvery hue. Even the buildings' shadows didn't seem so impenetrable anymore.

“Awowoooo-oooh!" A sharp howl pierced the quiet night. I rose to my feet immediately, as if I had been called by name. My heart raced as I felt lost for a moment.

'Where-?' I turned and looked into the still moonlit field. The howl was very close, but then all of those exotic tall tales and stories about how a wolf could smell fear flashed through my mind. People being attacked and hunted down… I shoved all of that aside and walked around the barn's corner and into the bright moonlit field. The hidden crickets in the surrounding grass grew quiet as I stepped by them.

“Arwen?" I whispered quietly at first, but there was no response above the chirping insects. A brief uneasiness formed in my gut. I felt like I was being watched.

“Arwen." I quietly called out again, loudly this time.

“It's dangerous to meet someone like me alone during the full moon." A female voice spoke up, causing the hair on my arms to stand up. I froze and then turned to my right only for my heart to leap. The wolf was standing mere steps away, and despite standing in the open field, she blended in perfectly with the nighttime scenery.

“A-Arwen!"

“I'm not surprised you came here, Marin." She admitted.

“I couldn't pass this up." I admitted despite feeling a little jittery.

“Why do you like me?" Her question was so simple and direct, yet I never really had an answer to it myself.

“I wanted to ask you the same question." I rebuffed her. Her tail swished once in silence behind her.

“I could see it in your eyes." She quietly spoke as a hand lifted to unfasten a pair of buttons. Her cloak fell to the ground in a near silent whoosh. I had seen Arwen in her full naked glory before. She was a wolf after all, and her kind wore little, opting for cloaks or robes in public out of human modesty. A full fur coat was seen as more than enough by most wolves in their countryside territories, and it covered them well. It was a nice sign that she was comfortable and not hiding anything from me.

Her white furred coat nearly glowed under the silvery hue of moonlight. It hugged her lovely figure snugly, accentuating her natural wolffish strength and beauty. Rather than feel afraid, there was a sense of comfort. It reminded me of how she sat down beside me to console me after learning about my father passing.

“Well…" Arwen started to speak only to pause for a moment. “You can still run if you like." She offered a way out; so both of us could return to our respective lives without hurting one another. Neither one of us truly wanted that.

“Never." I stepped forward, grass crunching softly beneath my steps. I saw her face perk up right as I pulled her into a deep hug. There was at least a mile between us and the next living soul. I could finally embrace her and no one else would know.

“You're a brave human." She placed a hand on the back of my head, and returned the embrace in full. I felt her other arm wrap around my lower back in turn. It felt wonderful being in her arms.

“Not as brave as you." I said with a slightly muffled voice, but grinning with strength. I smelled her wild scent once again, a beautiful natural aromatic scent that I adored more than any perfume.

“I was afraid you wouldn't show up." I heard her murmur. I merely shook my head in response.

“I had to see you again." I reaffirmed my commitment. “Even if it only lasted a few moments." The hand on my back began rubbing up and down soothingly.

“I thought a lot about you since we last saw each other." She softly spoke. “I didn't forget your scent." Her damp nose touched the side of my head.

“I wanted to take your cloak to keep warm."

“You better have quick legs to make that happen." She quickly retorted. We both laughed in each other's arms. It felt wonderful not having to hide that.

“I love you." Her voice sweetly spoke as both arms gripped me tightly.

“I love you too." The words automatically fell from my lips. It was wonderful to hear the wolf say that simple phrase, and declare my love to her as well. Hands moved across my back and rested comfortably on my shoulders as she loosened our embrace. I didn't sense her face coming closer save for a warm breath washing over my nose. Something felt smooth, warm, and wet against my cheek and chin. I instinctively tensed and pursed my lips as her tongue caught me off guard.

“I'm a wolf. Don't be shy." She beckoned and licked my lips. I parted them, unsure if I should say a quick retort or just accept her advance only to feel her take quick advantage of the moment. A smooth wet warmth burst past my lips. My mouth widened to accommodate the large appendage. Blinking, her head started turning sideways as the kiss deepened. I felt the heat of her mouth inside my own as her tongue sought to greet every corner of my mouth. The subtle sensation of teeth grazing my cheeks only heightened the pleasure.

I hastily grasped handfuls of cheek fur as she kept a firm grip on my shoulders. The white wolf knew how overwhelming it was for me; but I loved every second of it. Our tongues and lips playfully “battled" as we tasted each other. Only the occasional grunt or snort escaped us.

I could feel the muscles of her jaws with my hands, and knew the power was immense yet carefully and lovingly delivered to me. My human tongue was nowhere near as adept as her wolffish one, but I wriggled around and danced with hers as intimately as possible. I received more than one hum of approval for my efforts. She pulled back slowly until we ended up giving each other a proper “human" kiss to catch our breaths.

“Heh. That was… nice." I breathed.

“Mmm." Arwen licked her nose with a smile, but the shine in her golden eyes appeared to change.

“What?" I knew she was thinking of something.

“Lose those useless clothes." She gave a tug on my sleeve, and growled playfully.

“Of course." I was more than happy to oblige. One garment after another was quickly discarded into the grass. The cooler nighttime air sweetly kissed my skin, promising hotter things to come. Once I stepped out of the last undergarment, I stood before the wolf completely naked.

“I've longed to see you like this." She mentioned as I felt her eyes look me over in detail. A little shudder ran up my back as her golden gaze enjoyed what she saw, but she wasn't shy about touching me either.

“You're handsome." She softly spoke. Her leathery padded palms were warm like a cozy fire as she touched me.

“And you're very beautiful." I remarked at her lovely wolffish figure.

“You're the only human to say that." She found it funny.

“Then I'm the only one telling you the truth."

“Or you're one crazy man."

“That may also be true." I grinned only to shudder from the excitement and cooler air.

“Are you cold without fur?"

“I'm not without your fur." I remarked and ran my hands up her sides. The wolf smiled and brushed her muzzle against my cheek lovingly. Her snout then ducked under my chin and nuzzled me briefly before pushing up and forcing my head to tilt back towards the sky. A tongue started licking over my neck, and the soft smooth sweeps felt pleasant. I stiffened up and shivered as I felt her teeth nibble and graze my skin harmlessly next; but the brief moment of fear passed. Arwen's grip was firm yet loose, so I could back away if I really wanted to. It was a natural reaction to a wolf licking and biting such a vulnerable place; but I trusted her completely.

Her hands hadn't remained idle either. One rubbed down my bare backside and cupped my rear before giving a tender squeeze.

“Mm-ah!" I tensed and nearly jumped.

“What?" She stopped.

“Careful with your claws." I reached back and placed my hand over hers resting on my naked rear.

“I'll be careful." She reassured me with a whisper into my ear before licking it. I felt a red hot shill run up my back. “But mating with a wolf may result in a cut or two." She playfully growled and nibbled my ear next.

“I hope you're joking." I said nervously but stood firm.

“Hehe. Mostly." Arwen playfully answered. “But a scar would look good on you." She hummed and traced her nose down my cheek only to nuzzle me. “You don't have fur to cover it up either."

“I'd prefer not having to explain how I got the scar." I grinned nervously.

“Hmm. It'll be in an intimate place." She cooed and her hands traced over to my front, eliciting a pleasant shudder from me. The white furred wolf suddenly knelt down and didn't hide what she wanted to focus on next. I wasn't completely innocent either. Standing naked, bodies brushing close together had me fully excited as well. I wasn't a stranger to the sensation of the firm pulsating throbs down below.

“I knew something was poking me." She teased. I held my breath and felt the leathery warmth of her palm cradle my scrotum. I was as anxious as I was excited by how she delicately handled the most intimate parts of my body. Her fingertips traced and felt the soft skin from behind, and her claws traced harmlessly after them.

Her other hand rested above, fingers lightly playing with the hair on my groin. All the while, my length throbbed achingly hard, pointing straight at her muzzle. Glancing down, I was greeted by a wolffish smile and her golden eyed gaze. The mere sight of her hands cradling my arousal while it throbbed so visibly brought me close to the edge. The rush of passion nearly knocked me over!

“I might explode." I almost groaned from the erotic excitement coursing through my veins alone. Her ears perked up in surprise.

“I haven't even touched you there yet." She whispered half surprised to herself.

“I-I know. Sorry…" I clenched my teeth, not wanting the romance to finish so hastily. The wolf seemed all too understanding of my predicament.

“Don't worry. Sit on my cloak." She suggested. I readily agreed and sat down with my legs stretched out on her simple garment. A hand touched the top of my head as white furred legs stood before my eyes. I blinked in surprise as Arwen sat on my lap. I felt the warmth of her body in a mere moment, and the softness of her fur was wonderful against my bare skin.

I wasn't completely innocent and naive to her choice. The downy fur of her groin brushed against the top of my throbbing length, and I could feel the heat of her womanhood like a distant fire so close to my aching flesh.

“Better?"

“Heh. Yeah." I couldn't complain at all. Arwen's white furred bosom was unabashedly right in front of my face. Wolves didn't always have very feminine figures, but hers were nicely rounded for her wolffish physique. I felt a hand nudge me forward ever so slightly as if reminding me that I could do more than gawk at her.

“Ooh." I dumbly spoke while looking into her smiling golden eyes.

“Don't be shy now."

“You're a wolf." I concluded with a dry mouth, and brought my hands to her sides. My thumbs brushed the cusp of each breast, but in moments I was generously rubbing them both.

“Your breasts are soft." I hummed happily with my arousal throbbing with approval below.

“You're like a male wolf." She found it funny but didn't stop me.

“All males are the same in some ways then."

“Mmhm." She hummed with the hint of a throaty growl. “But there's only one you." Arwen started rubbing my back. Her warm padded hands felt lovely, but I hardly noticed her attention with my gaze fixated on her lovely bosom. Both breasts squished from my touch and the fur ruffled so easily between my fingertips. My neck craned forward as she puffed out her chest. It happened all too naturally. I nuzzled the soft breast before me like she had done to my face earlier, showering the feminine furred softness with affection. Feeling such softness against my cheek from a strong wolf was all too enticing.

'Oh?' My nose brushed against something hiding within her fur. I found a firm nipple after parting her fur. The skin softly glowed silver from the moonlight, but would've been pink in daylight. I gave a firm kiss, and then another, but my mouth didn't part from her after that. I licked and nibbled the tender taut flesh while my hand pinched and rubbed. While one hand rubbed and touched her other breast until I found her other nipple; my other hand was wrapped around her upper back, holding her close. I wanted to love every part of her as much as possible, and the affection was easily noticed.

“That feels nice." She softly spoke as breathed deeply. Her arms tightened their grip as her hands cradled me so tenderly. My face was pressed against her soft breast in response, not that I cared. A flea couldn't find room between us. I heard soft coos and moans from above as I rubbed and licked fervently. I felt her lean back causing my mouth to part with her breast, only for me to press forward more. Whether her back was becoming sore, or not, it didn't matter.

“Ah!" I nearly yelled out of surprise as Arwen suddenly fell onto her back and pulled me along with her. It looked like I had just pinned her to the ground with my hands on her shoulders, and the wolf's legs spread wide apart. However, the expression on her face was anything but surprise.

“Marin." She sweetly licked my chin and placed her hands on my arms. The look in her golden eyes explained everything and no other words were needed. My arousal throbbed eagerly as I glanced down to her open position.

'I don't think I'll last long.' I thought, but readied myself anyway. I started parting the thick fur along her groin only for a clawed hand to snake down and assist. With so much downy fur, I needed a little guidance from her. Easing ahead, my tip kissed a slick heat before pushing forward until our hips bumped together. I held my breath as her womanhood engulfed my length in its entirety.

“Ughhh." I exhaled noisily as the snug heat felt incredible. Deep inside her, it took willpower not to mindlessly buck; but I twitched almost constantly.

“Nngh. I feel that." She half hummed and moaned.

“Yeah…" I positioned myself more comfortably and let nature take over. I pulled out halfway and then thrusted back in, maintaining a steady rhythm. The wet slaps drowned out the sound of nighttime insects and was soon followed by moans and grunts. Fur against skin; rubbing, caressing, pleasuring, and bumping together in lovemaking. Arwen gently writhed beneath me, claws scraping at the ground and cloak underneath. She could've bucked me off with her powerful legs alone had she wanted to.

Her furry breasts subtly bounced with every thrust, and I felt the pleasure growing in my manhood. Each passing second was better than the last. The slippery heat inside her was making it all effortless. Both furry legs squeezed me tightly as her canine groans reached a feverish pitch. I held on and didn't slow down. The wolf's jaws parted and she sharply growled, a sound that would've terrified me had anyone else did it. I couldn't hold back any longer.

“Gruh!" I finished with a resounding grunt and firm slap as our hips joined back together. My heart pounded as I finished inside her. The sound of panting filled my ears once the moans had ceased. An incredible warmth flooded over my entire body as the last pulses diminished. Blinking, I glanced up at Arwen. The wolf's ears were folded back as she breathed deeply. The look of pure satisfaction in her half lidded gaze mirrored my own. I got off of her and sat back between her legs. The sight of her sprawled out; muzzle pointing up towards the moon; and front rising and falling was something to behold. Fully pleasing a woman was always a funny joke with friends, but here I was with a female wolf, completely satisfied.

“Happy?" I rubbed her thighs affectionately, loving the sensation of her fur ruffling under my hands.

“Mmmhm." Arwen hummed and laid a hand over her front. I simply sat there with a dumb grin across my face, perfectly content. The full moon was visible high above in the twinkling sky, as if watching over the two of us. Almost comically, the crickets chirped noisily around us as if nothing had happened.

“Still out of breath?" Arwen teased and rose up onto her elbows to look at me.

“A little." I admitted and patted her leg.

“All of it was wonderful." She whispered before sitting up.

“I'll never forget it." I said as her snout neared. The wolf reached up and the leathery palms and padded fingertips coddled my cheeks as her jaws parted. I eagerly parted my lips as her damp nose brushed past my own. Her smooth tongue slipped inside my mouth with ease. It wasn't quite as deep as before, but our tongues slowly licked and lapped against one another. My whole body tingled as our breath became one once more. My hands eagerly rubbed her back as we shared an intimate wolffish kiss that made my heart ache for more.

“Mmm." I hummed when she eased back.

“Wolf got your tongue?" She grinned and wiped my lip with the back of her furry hand.

“Heh. Yeah." I smiled all the same, but I couldn't help but notice the wet spot on her breast from my mouth.

I moved so we could sit side by side, and let our groins air out. We settled down but I felt her nudge my side only to feel more weight lean onto me. Arwen's cheek even rested against my head. I never could've imagined a werewolf leaning on me for comfort before. I brought my hand around to hold her by the hip as she placed a hand on my shoulder. It felt wonderful.

“You're so strong, and yet… so loving." I admitted.

“The stronger you are the gentler you can afford to be." She smartly answered.

“I'll have to remember that."

“Good. It'll help for our second time." She suggested.

“I'm afraid that once we start, we won't be able to stop." I shyly admitted.

“Heh. That doesn't sound too bad to me." She gave a short chuckle. “But I understand what you actually mean." The wolf gave a more serious nod.

“Oh eh. Yeah." I realized how I could've phrased that a little better. “Once we keep meeting each other then we could be seen or get caught."

“Are you afraid of getting caught?"

“I don't know. Not right now." I admitted due to the wonderful afterglow.

“I suppose I'm a stupid wolf for agreeing to this, but I'm not afraid either."

“You're not stu-huh-ohh." I said only to yawn.

“Ready to sleep?"

“Yeah. I'm tired." I gave a heavy nod. It had been a long stressful day leading up to nightfall, and we hadn't exactly given ourselves any rest since the moon rose. We laid down together on her cloak, facing one another. Our legs tangled together and arms draped over one another; but it still didn't feel close enough even after a night of passion. We shared a few brief words and comments, but my thoughts were quickly drifting away towards pleasant dreams. There was nowhere else in the world or amount of riches I desired than where I was sitting alongside her right now.

The warmth of body heat and softness of fur greeted me as I woke up from a well rested sleep. All of the tender memories from last night returned to me, causing a content smile to emerge across my face. I had never woken up feeling completely refreshed and so happy in my life. A smooth warm tongue washed over my face, stirring me from idleness. I instinctively covered my face only for my hand to be pulled away. Blinking, bright sunshine greeted me first followed by a grinning muzzle.

“Good morning." Arwen's voice greeted me.

“Good morning." I smiled back and cleared my throat. I heard a rustle as she shifted and placed a hand over my chest. I suddenly realized that we were both completely naked in an open field.

“No one else is here, right?" I felt paranoid and glanced around.

“Just us." She contently spoke.

“Good." I breathed a sigh and savored lying with her. Our hands found each other and loosely held them together. Waking up with Arwen and laying with her out in the wild grasses felt rustic but very enjoyable. The peaceful moment lasted for a few minutes with only the occasional chirping of a bird being heard.

“It'll be humid today." Arwen spoke up.

“Yeah, it was yesterday." I recalled the long walk here. The wolf sat up and I followed suit. The warm rays of the sun paled in comparison to the warmth of her fur.

“Sore?" She noticed my brief discomfort.

“Yeah." I grinned anyway despite the stiffness in my muscles. The mild soreness was well worth it.

“It is beautiful out here in the countryside." I looked at the scene before us.

“Mmhm." She acknowledged with a satisfactory hum. “I love the forests, fields, and rivers."

“This would be a nice summer home to live at." I mentioned, imagining the two of us living together in secret during various times. She turned and looked over at me.

“Would it be too obvious for you to purchase this home and the land?" She inquired half jokingly.

“Heh, yeah it would." I grinned as the lovely idea faded.

“It would be nice though." She agreed. “A little home away from home with you." It certainly was tempting when she said it that way. I only regretted that I couldn't immediately purchase the land.

“I'll get my pack that I brought yesterday." Arwen decided and stood up, letting go of my hand. “We can't stay here all morning."

“Good idea." I agreed and stood up. Neither one of us could afford to push our luck for too long. “I'll get my clothes." I said but watched her walk away before disappearing behind a building first. Glancing around, seeing my garments all over the grass was a funny sight.

'I can't believe I'm in an open field, butt naked.' I gathered my scattered garments from the grass with a little reluctance. I knew that we couldn't linger together much longer. The white wolf soon reappeared and came back.

“I found yours too." She returned with my small pack as well as her own.

“Thanks." I happily accepted the kind gesture. “You carried a knife with you?" I was a little surprised at the well sized weapon hanging from her pack.

“I brought it in case I ran into someone, like a delinquent."

“A wolf doesn't need a knife to fight a human." I found it a little amusing. After all, Arwen would easily terrify any human along a lonely dirt road; day or night.

“Heh. I don't mean for you." She chuckled. “All I need to fight you is my tongue." Her sweet words made my face turn a little red, but what she said was the truth!

“My younger sister is pregnant. That news is finally official." I changed the subject.

“Oh! That is wonderful news." Arwen's face lit up. “So she has started a family of her own?"

“Yes, this is her first child." I nodded feeling a small sense of pride as well.

“My brother is going to be married to a wolf from the Nensu clan of the highland forests."

“An arranged marriage?" I guessed.

“Mmhm." Arwen nodded. “He seems okay with the decision, but I don't think they've formally met yet. She can still refuse the marriage, but this is what I've heard."

“I see. I hope they are a good match."

“I hope so too. Maybe they've met in secret like us?" She playfully elbowed me. I grinned at the thought. Arwen brushed her cloak clean while I dressed myself.

“It's odd standing in a field butt naked." I remarked how funny it was.

“Nakedness is natural." She stated. “Well, for a wolf anyway."

“I can't complain about that." I murmured and received a playful side eye glance from her.

“I won't bother wearing the cloak around you then." She smiled and prepared to wear it again.

“Before you wear the cloak again…" I stepped forward and placed my hands on her. Arwen grinned as I generously felt her soft breasts with one hand. My other hand was far more mischievous and dove between her legs. The wolf didn't mind in the slightest. After last night, all of the hesitation and nervousness had dissipated between us.

“If you keep doing that then I'll pin you to the ground." She playfully bared her teeth aggressively, and shifted her hips.

“I hope so." I teased but retracted my hand. Her neck craned forward and licked me from chin to nose. I opened my mouth and we shared a deep kiss that was all too brief. I wiped my chin with her taste stiff lingering on my tongue.

“You're not going to smell like me, are you?" I worried.

“Heh. No, I can wash up in a stream before I return home." She found my concern funny.

“Eh. I wish I could accompany you." I mentioned.

“Heh. I'd like you to smell more like me." Her grin made me giddy. Maybe another time."

“We can meet again every full moon." I suggested.

“I'd love to." She smiled. “It would be wonderful."

“I'm looking forward to it." I happily grinned.

“Don't forget to write to me." Arwen added.

“I'd never forget to write!" I exclaimed. “We can come up with a location outside of town. Maybe in the woods?"

“Mmhm. That sounds perfect." She nodded with a grin.

“That'll give us plenty of cover." I liked the idea. Meeting her in a forest guided only by bright moonlight sounded exciting.

“You're not worried about getting caught, are you?" The question felt more serious without an afterglow pulsing through me.

“No." I shook my head. “Not if we are careful. It'll be the full moon's secret." I promised. Arwen giggled at the phrase but ultimately nodded in agreement.

“Only the full moon will know." She liked the sound of that. “I'm looking forward to it."

“I am too." I nodded in agreement. We hugged each other tightly a final time. It was not as savory with clothes on, but it meant just as much to us both. The welcoming warmth, and pleasant aromas of her scent enveloped in a strong embrace comforted me. I never wanted to forget it.

“I don't want to feel anything between us." She murmured before undoing the embrace.

“Nothing will. I'll be sure to write to you very soon." I promised. “I love you."

“I love you too." She smiled brightly, knowing we'd be visiting each other during the next full moon. I could hardly wait. We parted ways and I walked along the field with confident strides towards the dirt road.

“Awowoooowoo-oh!" A sudden howl pierced the air. I spun around and scanned the horizon before spotting her. She was a tiny figure standing along the edge of the woods, but I could imagine her golden eyes and wolffish snout smiling at me.

“Arwen!!" I yelled back at her. The white furred wolf gave a final wave before disappearing from sight. I couldn't wipe the smile from my face as I walked home.
