Rocket stood at his workbench putting the last adjustments on a pair of wrist cuffs he had designed for himself. He had to get the energy diffusion matrix just right, because he was only going to have one shot at doing so, and the results would be catastrophic if he got it wrong. For himself at the least, and possibly for his ship and crew as well. The cuffs were bastardized tech scavenged after that Stark guy had fried himself ending the whole Thanos fiasco. If it had worked well enough to at least partially protect a nothing human from the full power of all six Infinity Stones, then it should work well enough to protect a creature that had been dismantled and upgraded and torn apart and rebuilt until he didn't even know what he was.
If there was one thing that Rocket did know, it was that no one was going to take his family from him ever again. It had taken a lot of finesse and skill and a little bit of luck, but he had managed to swipe two of the Stones. He was actually quite proud of that, especially with everyone keeping such a wary eye on them, but the switch hadn't been noticed before he and the Guardians were able to get off-planet. They didn't have that Kree-trained wrecking ball coming after them either, so far, so he could only hope that they wouldn't notice until it was too late to matter.
Speaking of which, his tinkering was to the point of a delaying tactic, putting off the final touches. Not that he was afraid or anything, but he didn't fancy becoming a crispy critter without at least first getting one last good piece of tail between the sheets. On the other hand, he wasn't getting any younger, didn't even know how long his species was supposed to live, and had definitely been feeling the effects of oncoming old age in the last few years since the Decimation. He had been left alone, all alone all over again, left to rage against the injustice of it all in impotence as pain crept into his joints and his reactions slowed, throwing himself into fights that weren't his own in the hopes of at least having an end worth bragging about.
“I got 'em back," he mumbled to himself, snapping the cuffs onto either wrist. “I'm not gonna let anything take 'em from me again."
Setting the containment ball on his workbench, he carefully made the correct sequence of presses and twists to cause it to open, revealing the glowing Stones within. Gold and crimson, Mind and Reality. He held out his wrists, cringing slightly, and let the gems be sucked into their sockets, then reeled at the forces that flowed through him, threatening to tear both mind and body to pieces. He fought against them, willing the tech to do its job, willing himself to take it, willing the Stones to obey him. Slowly, the surging power faded, leaving him tingling and panting.
He must have screamed, because he found Quill shaking his shoulders and screaming into his face, “Rocket, what the hell did you do?!"
“Oh, what, you mean these old things?" he attempted, playing innocent. “Just some junk I had lyin' around, thought I'd try 'em out."
“Rocket... Why do you have two of the Infinity Stones? Why aren't they back where they're supposed to be? And why the hell are they on your frickin' wrists?!"
He sighed and brushed the human's hands off of him. “Look, Quill, I just-"
“You just nothin', Rocket! You just put the entire universe in danger! We're supposed to be the Guardians, not the Wreckers!"
“Quill-"
“No, we are turning this ship around and heading right back to Earth, and we're gonna put those things back where they belong!"
“Quill, shut up and listen to me!"
He felt a rush of energy flow through him up his left arm from his clenched fist, and Quill actually did as he was told for once. He stood silent and attentive, though still with an air of impatience and exasperation, like a student waiting out the last few minutes of the last class of the school day. Surprised, Rocket found himself momentarily speechless. Then he remembered why he had taken the Mind Stone as well as the Reality Stone.
While the Reality Stone could alter anything and everything to be exactly as he desired, too much of that could break things irrevocably. Rocket wasn't a god and had no intention of becoming one, didn't have the temperament, patience, or imagination to keep the whole universe held together in just the way he wanted everything. Little changes with it could pass without overly straining the fabric of existence, though.
He had taken the Mind Stone as well so that he could make sure and tweak things in another way. The Reality Stone might let him weaken a foe, but the Mind Stone would allow him to also ensure that the enemy made a critical mistake, exposing its weakness to attack. He could erase memories of their crimes from witnesses or change the opinions of law officials to let them go free. They were heroes, after all, having saved the universe a time or two, and who didn't love the Guardians of the Galaxy?
And it had worked. On Quill. Maybe... Or maybe he was just waiting to see what kind of obviously fabricated defense Rocket would spew out next.
“Quill," he began, clenching his left fist and feeling the power surge through it, “get down on your knees."
Surprisingly enough, the human obediently knelt down in front of the stool that he stood upon, putting his head about level with the tabletop and Rocket's groin.
“Huh, guess that Celestial blood ain't doin' much good for ya now, is it?" This needed further testing, though. The human could just be humoring him, after all. He lowered himself down to sit atop the stool and stuck out his paws. “Why don't you treat these like they're your favorite body part on your favorite female?"
Quill immediately darted his head forward to lick at the leathery pads that covered the bottoms of the engineer's feet, hands coming up to massage at his soles. The raccoon couldn't help but moan when the human's lips encircled an agile toe and began sucking on the digit as his tongue slipped and rolled against the underside. It had been a long time since he had felt such an erotic sensation, since he'd felt a gentle touch from another living being, and he honestly hadn't expected this kind of treatment from the human. Quill was notoriously a horny bastard, and Rocket had mostly expected the man to drop trou and try to mate with his paws.
He could feel his cock immediately rising to tent the front of his coverall, and urged, “Stop! Stop! Quill!"
The human paused immediately, looking up at him with slight dismay and longing. Well, it was possible that he had a thing for feet or something. He had reputedly mated with an A'askavariian after all, so it had to be something he would never do in a million years to prove the point. Rocket unzipped the front of his coverall and slid it down to his waist, fishing out his sack and half erect shaft.
“Blow me."
It was a phrase he'd picked up from the human, and Quill immediately set to the task. The cybernetically enhanced raccoon's cock shot strait to full mast at the feel of the humans warm, wet mouth wrapped around it, but it felt... well, a bit small and spindly, though Quill was doing his damndest to suck it right out of its sheath. Hm... well, reality could be whatever Rocket wanted, after all...
Flexing his right fist, the thieving mammal willed his cock to be larger, thicker, meatier, his balls heavy and primed for breeding, and it was so. He swelled and lengthened inside Quill's mouth, his sack growing as well, though neither became overly large. He didn't want his coverall pinching any more than it already did. That felt much better. The increased length and circumference came with more surface for the human's tongue to caress and increased sensitivity to the pleasurable sensations that resulted.
Still, if he was going to do that much, well, he was a little tired of still being all alone in the universe, even if he had found a family that he cared about. Would it be so bad if he wasn't the only thing like himself? Another clench of his fist and a flex of his will saw the human shrinking, sprouting fur, a muzzle extending from his face and a tail growing from his rear, his clothing maintaining its relative size. When it was done, Rocket found himself getting the best oral attention of his life from a slightly smaller, noticeably younger version of himself, swallowed from tip to base and getting some throat action on top of that, which was a rare treat.
It didn't take long before his “rocket" was blasting off, gushing hot seed down the younger male's throat, his hands clamped on the back of Quill's head to hold him in place, until the last jet had spurted free. Unfortunately, the former human didn't stop following his last command, and left the engineer twitching with oversensitivity until he could stammer out a command to cease and desist. He scratched at the male's head like Drax had done to him by way of a thank you. It had felt pretty nice.
But with climax had come a wave of drowsiness and slight exhaustion that he'd begun experiencing in the last few years, and he hated it. So he changed it. After all, no one knew what he was, not even himself. Who was to say that he shouldn't be young and healthy for as long as he wanted to be? A slight warmth washed over him as he felt muscles tighten, aches fade, and saw the tinges of grey fade from fur turned sleek and shiny. That was much better.
“Alright, Quill," he ordered the newest member of his species while drawing on the power of the Mind Stone. “You're gonna remember gettin' turned into... whatever I am in some kinda accident. You're happy this way, though. It's a lotta fun. And maybe you wanna keep learnin' about how to have fun like I do from me. Oh, and you're gonna ignore the fact that I have two of the Stones. Understand?"
The transformed human nodded his understanding.
“Good. Now how about we go make sure the rest of the crew understands. And maybe see if Gamora and Nebula wanna see what they've been missin' out on, huh?"
“Sounds like a plan!" came the enthusiastic response.
