Akatosh, the Dragon God of Time, is troubled by a vision of Nirn's impending destruction. Desperate to change the future, he ventures into the realms of Oblivion and stumbles upon an alternate reality where he finds Harry Potter, a chosen hero of his own world. Utilizing his divine magic, Akatosh transports Harry to the imperial prison of the Empire, where he meets Uriel Septim VII. The aged emperor reveals hints about Harry's intertwined destiny with Temreal and bequeaths him the powerful Amulet of Kings. With a mission to locate Uriel's illegitimate son and aid in sealing the gates of Oblivion, Harry embarks on an epic journey that spans both his own world and the realm of Tamriel.

Chapter 1

Disclaimer: I don't own anything, I'm just playing in a sandbox.

Harry wasn’t able to do anything, besides looking at the rolling Countryside. He could only let out a sigh. He could faintly hear a heated argument starting between his two best friends, who were already starting up for another round of arguing. With his Godfather on the run, Snape had accused him of being confounded by the one man that would have given him a loving home and get his Godfather expedited and cleared of all charges, instead Snape took credit for saving his life and the life of his friends.

Worst of all Snape (not-so-subtly) revealed the fact that Remus is a werewolf, forcing him out of DADA position.

Now he was being taken back to his personal prison, Number 4 Privet Drive, awaiting the beatings and starvation by no fault of his own doing.

Turning his attention away from the countryside. He had pulled out a book that Hermione had given him this year. After the many rumors that Sirius Black was after his head, as most had said and thought. He opened up the advanced spellbook titled ”Defensive and Offensive Spells and How to Use Them”.

Harry had to give his kudos to Hermione, when it comes down to choice it’s the best book for the situation at hand. Just within the first few pages, there were at least ten spells he could have used this year. The previous year it already began to teach just memorizing a few points to cast spells that didn't require complicated wand waving. It even had references to silent casting and small hints of wandless magic. If only he had cracked open this book before the start of this year. Instead of keeping pace with Ron lazily skating through the year. At least the Dementors served more than just bringing misery to him.

He continued with his reading, ignoring the heated argument between Ron and Hermione. Focusing on the rest of his book as the train ride went on.

==============================

Akatosh, Dragon God of time, the chief deity of the nine divines, husband to Mara. Known by many and feared by the High Elves. From time to time he'd find himself in a dilemma. Gazing into the future with the use of his godly domain, he could see Nirn burn. With the Flames of Oblivion brought upon by the Daedric Prince of Destruction, Revolution, and Ambition., Mehrunes Dagon.

The Great Dragon saw these events as inevitable, there is nothing he could have done to stop it. The death of the dragon line is also inevitable, the Invasion is inevitable, destruction of Nirn is inevitable.

Clearing his mind and focusing his thoughts using his divine power. He starts to think of possibilities to shift these three variables into something that would benefit Nirn and its people. Within his divine contemplations, he could sense that two variables cannot be changed. Fate demands the extinction of the Septim line and the Dragonborn reign, just as Fate has demanded The Oblivion Invasion.

He looked through the strings of fate and saw Nirn survive the destruction. This required an individual that fate can latch onto turning them into the ultimate Champion, that would determine the fate of an entire world.

Turning his gaze away from the timeline. He then started looking outwards past the planes of Oblivion themselves, into the infinite sea of Chaos. Then he found it. The universe exists within the eye of a storm. A storm that would never end. There are a great number of worlds that could hold the champion he seeks. Soon enough he found him.

Inside a moving train compartment, he could see there was a young human male. The boy was looking into some book. There is a lingering unknown form of magic that surrounds the boy's very being. As he could see it was almost like a protective cloak. As he could guess, the boy was at least 14 winters old. Maybe a bit younger due to the boy's size and build. He had many possibilities more so than any other. The two prominent possibilities are that of self-sacrifice or a great destructive change, both have the same outcome. The one that had marked the boy would be destroyed.

But to bring this boy into the world. He would have to do something that he loathes above all other things. That is to violate part of his domain, a time break or a dragon break that had only happened once. When that damnable Dwemer artifact was activated, he couldn't fault the Imperials for their need of it but he hated how the time distortions happened, not even the artifacts of the Elder Scrolls can unravel that point in time.

Growling in frustration he knows the very prominent fact the world would end if he did nothing. If he did what needed to be done the world would be saved but its future would remain uncertain.

Building up power within the ether he now committed himself to what he must do. To save the world while leaving its future to be undetermined even within his Divine sight of it. He will break the Dragon.

=======================================================================

Harry was getting off the train, he cast a shrinking charm on his trunk and then put it into his pocket. He was going to smuggle his things into his room so he can do his summer homework so it wouldn't give Snape the excuse to deduct points or give him a detention for lying. Like always he catches sight of both of his friends going into the loving embrace of their families. A small fleeting sense of jealousy washed over him before he had beaten the feeling down.

Letting out an annoyed sigh he made his way past the barrier into the non-magical side of the platform. As he continued walking on his way he noticed something strange.

The large clock that was hanging on a pillar in the station. Its second hand would complete a single rotation before rolling backward then forward again. He thought this was just a simple technical error so he then checked his watch which was Charmed to work even in magical areas. Shockingly all three hands on his watch were already rotating in One Direction or the other in a nonsensical manner.

The next bizarre thing he had witnessed was a woman who was struggling with her suitcase. Then having the contents of that suitcase spill out onto the platform. Then within the same second, the contents went back into the suitcase only to spill back out again on a continuous loop.

It reminded him of the many science fiction programs, That he used to watch when his cousin wasn’t looking. When someone broke time would either create a Time Paradox where everything was sucked into a singularity or time would just Loop over and over until everything fell apart. He briefly wonders if this had something to do with the time Turner and his small dance with time.

Just thinking about how this could happen was giving him a headache. Suddenly everything stands still for a fraction of a second then cracks in reality begin to form, and the world begins to fall away, opening up a black void of nothingness. It was consuming everything around him.

All there was a big black nothingness around him. He thought that reality had broken down because of the events of the time turner and witnessing himself casting a fully corporeal Patronus. If this was the price for doing such a thing he began cursing out the universe until he felt his throat start to strain. It was only then he noticed that he was just floating in the endless void he shifted his view to see a great Mighty dragon glowing in the void like a bright star. A mixture of fear and curiosity and wonder was coursing through his mind.

Looking at the human teen, Akatosh noticed something peculiar that did not belong to the human teenager. "I'm more than willing to allow safe Passage for one but not for two." Narrowing his draconic eyes he extracted the soul that was trapped within the boy's scar. He ignored the boy's screams of pain as he focused on completing his task.

Harry clutches the area of his scar. He then pulled his hand after feeling something oily covering his hand and fingers. Worried that he was going to see his blood instead it was just a blackened ooze. It also had a terrible smell reminiscent of the time when he was in the Chamber of Secrets when he destroyed the diary, the smell of death, rot.

Switching his focus back on to the mist that was extracted from his head. The teen had only then noticed what the Mist was turning into. "Voldemort!" He gasped out in shock. Unlike others that would do so out of fear. He had stared at the red glowing eyes, its face that had started to warp its features into that of an ugly sneer. Harry had returned his hand towards the area of his scar, his fingers tracing the outline of his scar. It almost felt like it had been reopened. He wondered how long a piece of the dark wizard was in his scar.

"Such a loathsome creature going to whatever lengths to stay alive and to obtain greater power, to you this Soul Fragment would only serve to drive one to Madness and the inevitable loss of second Magic." the Flaming dragon commented before destroying the black Mist with his draconic fire erasing this fragment from existence.

The raven hair boy looked up at the Dragon " You know what that thing was?" he asked

The dragon God nodded his head "Aye I do, Mages attempting to escape death only to find Madness and loss of their power at the end of their Journey for immortality and greater power." The dragon said neutrally.

The raven haired teen had mauled that bit of information for a moment and it explained a lot of things that Voldemort did. But he had another burning question to ask " Who and what are you? Why am I here?" He asked, yet he felt uneasy about the possible answers.

The Dragon begins to smirk showing some teeth. He found a small bit of humor in the boy's flinch at his smirk, then quickly answered his question "I am Akatosh, Dragon god of time." He says while spreading out his wings and puffing his chest with pride.

There was only one thing the raven-haired teen could do, his jaw dropped as he comprehended what was just said before he began blurting out the words that were having difficulties leaving his lips "yo...you....you...are...God?" He said in a state of utter shock and disbelief.

The dragon felt amused, he hasn't been this amused in such a long time. As he is always wary about the future conflicts that Nirn would have in the near or distant future. "I am, to answer your second question. I have chosen you to be a champion of Nirn. If you so choose to by your own volition to become my champion."

" And what if I choose not to be your champion, then what?" the raven haired teen asked

The dragon's face became much more somber even his glow began to dim " Then the world of Nirn will be destroyed. The souls of the innocent, who will be tortured and enslaved, shall know no rest. You will face an adversary, one that would cost you your life. Only if you choose not to help those who would need it." he says with a somber, subdued tone of voice. One that feels so wrong and out of place on the Titan-Sized Dragon.

Running his fingers through his raven locks, he could feel his fatal-flaw of empathy, otherwise known as his saving people thing beginning to rear its ugly head. A small selfish side of himself would like to go ahead and say “No” and be on his merry way, but the rest of his very being is the part that is screaming at him to do the right thing. " Well if you mean the entire world would be destroyed I can’t simply say no can I? He asked with his famous Potter smirk. “I only ask to be able to return." He asked.

The mighty dragon only takes a second before gazing into the future. One that was being crafted by the boy in front of him and his future actions then found him vanishing returning where he belonged only to reappear again. " Yes you'll return to your world so you can complete your task there but I do fear that you may return to the world I'll be sending you."He said Softly.

Harry only Shrugged his shoulders. " At least you're being honest, that's more than I can get from my Headmaster and other “allies." He paused for a moment before taking in a deep breath and then sighing the words that would change his destiny forever. " I will accept the task given to me" He said somewhat somberly.

"With your acceptance, I shall baptize you in Holy Dragon Fire" the Flaming draconic being said before flapping its wings sending out a bright yet comforting wave of heat all over to the raven-haired teen healing and purging all the harm and malnutrition the young boy may have had before he met with the Divine Dragon.

The raven-haired boy could feel the heat wash through him just as much as over him. Hearing and feeling bones cracking or snapping made for an unusual sensation, not of pain nor pleasure, just unusual. As well as feeling himself becoming stronger and healthier then feeling an unusual tingling sensation in his eyes. If this is what it felt like being blessed perhaps if he had a chance he would give his thanks by leaving an offering by some kind of altar dedicated to this dragon. He closed his eyes allowing himself to sink deeper into the comforting embrace of the flames allowing it to do its intended purpose.

=====================================================================================================

Once the warmth from the dragon had faded. Harry opened his eyes to survey his surroundings and found himself in a dank, dim, and musty-smelling prison cell. He made a mental note to go ahead and ask that flaming oversized lizard why he was put in a prison cell instead of anywhere else. His thoughts were immediately interrupted by someone making noises from the opposite side of the cell door.

" Hey you, over here, I see they added another one into that cell." Said the person that sounded clearly like a man from the opposite cell.

The teen looked past the iron bars that kept him in the cell. He had trouble seeing with his glasses on and pulled them off to try to clean them. It was then that he realized he didn't need them anymore. Looking across the hall to see in the opposite cell there he saw a person, not a human, but a person who seemed to be wearing clothing that would be appropriate for a prisoner here. With gray skin, ruby-red eyes, and sharp and angular facial features with a hint of more masculine features in the mix. Overall a strange but handsome fellow. Then a sinister smile appeared on the prisoner's face, that wouldn't be out of place from a Madman.

"I would normally make fun of the fact that an Imperial has found their way into the Imperial dungeons. Or mention that you're going to die here, executed and forgotten, but I think your cellmate will make sure you'll be dead before they even reach you. After all, I do believe she might be hungry after being here for at least a few days." the Disturbed prisoner began laughing uncontrollably.

The young wizard quickly turned around looking into the dim Darkness of the cell. He was looking for the danger that was him sharing the same space with him but was unable to find it within the low light in the cell. Soon he was able to spot a pair of sky blue eyes glowing beautifully in the dark. At that moment he felt his heart beginning to race. He had reached into his pocket about to draw out his wand and cast the first spell that would come to mind.

Suddenly there was a fast-moving object that went past his head past the iron bars of the cell door and clashed against the neighboring cell door. An annoyed grunt could be heard he turned his head to see what the noise was as well as to see the object that went past his head then he could see the demented prisoner did not look pleased with what he was covered in.

"You disgusting house cat! I will strangle the life out of you when they let us out in the yard. Perhaps the Imperials will use your carcass as a rug." The prisoner starts to take off his shirt and pants then his loincloth after that the prisoner goes deeper into his cell.

The teen turns his attention back into the darkness where the owner of the eyes was hidden. He was about to say something but he was interrupted by the other prisoner in the dark. "This one would like to know how you got here and who you are." Pupils of the glowing eyes begin to narrow into splits.

Summoning all of his Gryffindor courage, then taking in a deep breath and calming down to his racing heart. " My name is Harry, Harry Potter." He introduced himself with a lopsided grin

Her eyes in the darkness narrowed for a moment " this one is called Affdahna, now onto this one's second question." Her voice kept that edge in her tone.

Running his fingers through his raven locks as he tried to figure out the best way to explain things. His first thought of revealing that a Godlike Dragon had placed him here was immediately dismissed. Then he had a thought that may work if this world has a hint of magic in it "Well you see, I was experimenting with magic. You could say I magicked my way here, by accident." he tried to sound both embarrassed and sheepish, something that would be expected from his fellow students at Hogwarts when they made some sort of mistake.

Her blue eyes start to widen. The sound of feet softly padding towards the teen's direction that's when he saw her for what she truly was. She was a tall strong-looking feline with enough curvatures and large enough breasts that could easily identify her as female. She wears rags like the other prisoners but her gray and white fur remains in pristine condition despite the fact her clothing may have seen better days. The next thing he noticed was that her tail tip was twitching. The young wizard remembered his time with Arabella and her precious Half kneazle cats and their behavior and the meaning behind their tail movement. So he can safely tell she was on alert or Interested.

" Can Harry perform magic again? Or does the Mage need to wait for more Magicka?" Her tone of voice had lost its Edge. If he cared to notice he would see a small spark of hope in her eyes.

Scratching his arm nervously the raven-haired boy tries to think of another lie that would be accepted just as much as the first. "Umm... You see it was of one use only spell so I can't perform it again." No sooner than he said that, he saw that the fur on her tail started to stand up, giving it a wild look. She began growling as she began pacing back and forth.

" By the Nine Divines, can this one have them smile upon this lowly Khajiit?" Annoyance and frustration were clear emotions in her voice as she spoke to herself. she kept pacing back and forth and acting like a trapped lion.

Harry looked at the cell door immediately and remembered a spell that was quite useful for locked doors; he switched his focus back on the very upset and frustrated Affdahna.

She was still pacing back and forth and memorizing things to herself she had stopped when her attention was immediately drawn. When she heard someone clearing their throat she looked at the Young mage it had appeared in her cell. "What does this one want with Affdahna now?" the edge in her voice returned that and her tail was wagging back and forth

" I know I can’t teleport us out of here. But there is one thing I can do, and its unlock that door." he whipped out his wand I twirled it around his fingers the moment before firmly grasping the handle with a smile on his face

Once more Affdahna is surprised "If Harry helps Affdahna escape from prison, the life debt that this one will earn." She vowed to Harry as her hope and excitement had already begun to send shots of adrenaline through her veins. The thoughts of her going outside feeling the warmth of the sun breathing in the fresh air then perhaps treating herself to the sweet flavor of moon sugar. All of it was more than enough to cause her to start purring.

The sound of a purring did not go unnoticed and Harry had pointed his wand at the lock and again to intone the unlocking charm "Aloho..." he wasn’t able to complete the unlocking spell any farther as he was grabbed and pulled into the darker part of the cell.

"Guards! Affdahna can hear them and they will take Harry in for questioning. Affdahna will not see Harry again." She starts to push Harry into the corner of the cell as she positioned herself in front of him.

He didn't hear the guards coming but soon enough he did hear footsteps and a small heated discussion between a couple of individuals but they were much softer spoken. Harry tried to peek past the tall gray fur feline if he had to take a guess, she was at least close to 7 feet tall give or take an inch or two.

"Communication with the other blades has been lost." A female voice could be heard.

" there's a strong possibility that they may have made it to the rendezvous point." the male voice argued with the female voice.

"No, my sons are dead I know it" an older weary sounding voice causes the other two to be silent for a moment

" It doesn't matter that we can’t communicate with the other team, our main objective at the moment is protecting his majesty," the same female voice from before had spoken.

Two well-armed and armored individuals stood in front of the cell door shining their torch through the bars and saw but the cheap prisoner and someone hiding behind her. " I thought I said this prison cell was to be off-limits!" the armored woman barked at her armored companion.

"Umm, usual mix up with the watch I..." he wasn’t able to finish his sentence as he was interrupted

" No matter, prisoners remain where you are at the far corner and that you are at along with the other so I see you, we won't hesitate to kill both of you if we have to" she was serious about words and the willingness to follow through with her threats.

The cell door was open with a key. One armored Blade was in front of both the Khajiit and the human wizard with his hand on to his left side palming the hilt of the sheathed sword and watching the two for any sudden movements. To the side, the armored woman pushed a part of the cobblestone which made a click sound along with the sounds of grinding gears and stonework clearing a secret passageway

"It should take us straight into sewers to our exit point rather than straight to headquarters," the woman said to the man, who was covered in brown robes with a hood drawn over his head, The man paused for a moment and turned his head and caught the side of Harry's face.

The robe-wearing man extended his arm and pointed his finger at the boy. "You.... I've seen you." the man approached

Seeing the man approach, Affdahna immediately started backing up, pressing her body against her newest companion as a means to protect him from the Stranger; she did not hesitate by using her greater power “Eye of Fear'' on The Stranger. Miraculously her efforts were in vain as it did not affect the old man. Dare she say she could hear him chuckling and at her failure. "Affdahna is not for this one's amusement and this one will not come any closer to Harry," she growled as soon as she saw the shine of a silver blade beginning to leave its sheath.

The old man raised his hands in a placating gesture. "I mean you and your companion no harm, I just wish to see him. I swear it on the gods themselves so I swear so mote it be." a light shimmering glow could be seen; it was almost unnoticed except for one who recognized it.

Remembering the time when Fred and George told Harry about a magical oath and the penalties of breaking them could be that loss of magic or even death right now whatever penalty that this stranger would be subjugated it's left up into the air, anyone's guess. Knowing that this person would not harm him or at least order someone to harm him he reached up and tapped Affdahna's shoulder blue eyes mint green. "I don't believe the man means any harm, not at the moment, at least."

She was briefly mesmerized by the acidic green in the human's eyes for a moment before breaking eye contact, looking at the old man she took at least one step aside. "If this one breaks a promise, Affdahna will slit this one's throat." She pointed a clawed finger at The Stranger it didn't matter that she could see more of the blade that was being drawn further, her new Mage friend was more than willing to help her escape from this hell and she's sworn a life debt one which she would gladly pay her own life to the one whom she had she sworn to.

The brown robes stranger approached, then pulled his hood off revealing an old man in his early sixties with silver and gray hair, his face clean shaven and having sharp aristocratic features and old haunted eyes that bore into Harry’s acidic green eyes. As the man took in the rest of this young teen's other features from the man's point of view the boy was almost of age to be considered a man and from what everything he could tell displayed every detail from his dreams. "You are the one from my dreams."

Hearing that made a cold shiver run up Harry's spine the same kind that he had gotten when Trelawney had predicted his death by a Grimm then again, she didn't foresee that Grimm would be his Godfather. "I think you are mistaken... Sir."

The old man had a warm smile that clashed the coldness in his eyes. " I have almost never been mistaken if ever.'' He closed his eyes for a moment and deeply inhaled before letting out a sigh, he opened up his eyes and stared at the young man. "Then the stars were right, and this is the day." He paused for a moment to take in a breath. "Gods give me strength."

" What's the significance of the stars?" Harry had briefly studied astrology and found that there was some level of divination in that particular practice but the two subjects never really have anything to do with one another other than rituals.

"Stars mark the path for those who were born under them and from what I interpreted blood and death shall be at the end of this journey" the old man's tone of voice was that of grim acceptance, something that would be considered inevitable.

"What is going on, Affdahna wants to know now," she demanded while she ignored the way how the others were staring at her with the intent to kill

Turning his attention to the Khajiit the old man replied to her question " Assassins have attacked my sons, and I am next."

She blinks for a moment of confusion before recognizing him "You are the Emperor!!!" she exclaimed.

The old man nodded his head. "My blades are leading me through a secret escape route" he turned his attention back on to Harry "Through fate, the entrance of that escape route leads through your shared cell."

"Who are you?" Harry asked

The old man smiled at the boy, "I am the Emperor of the Imperial Empire, Uriel Septim, and by the grace of the Gods, I serve Tamriel as her ruler." He had said with pride "And you are now a citizen of Tamriel, and you, too, shall serve her in your way." he said cryptically but there were hints in his words that elude that he knew what Harry was and he and what the wizard wasn’t previously.

He was about to ask the question, about whether or not the emperor knew that he didn't reside here or for that matter knew of the Dragon God that had sent him here. One of the bodyguards spoke up before the young wizard could say anything "We can’t waste any more time your majesty, we must get moving, now!" one of the men in armor said

The emperor nodded his head. He couldn't foresee what fate had set up for him at journey's end, so the two bodyguards in front of him went down the dark passageway with torches in hand while the other two followed after him one of the guards spoke to the two occupants of the cell. " Today is your lucky day, just stay out of our way and we won't have any problems." one of the bodyguards says as they follow after their charge.

The Khajiit looked at her Mage companion and waved her hand gesturing at the opened pathway. "Affdahna thinks this way is less difficult to escape this prison.'' A different opportunity out of the prison did give her a moment to think about the difficulties of escaping the Imperial Prison from the main cells and through the guard captain's office along with an entire division of Imperials waiting to cut them down as soon as they got into the town outside.

Like the Khajiit, Harry looked into the opening in the prison cell wall and came to the same conclusion. " I believe you’re right it would probably be best if we go through this way," he replied to her statement then he takes his hand into his pockets checking for his shrunken trunk and found it that was still in his pocket along with all the items he had brought with him from school that included his Fire-Bolt and his father's invisibility cloak. He knew his broom would be useless but his invisibility cloak might be useful to escape or sneak up on unsuspecting enemies that could be found on his journey.

The sound of clashing blades could be heard along with the pained yell of a female could be heard in the next chamber, both the Mage and Khajiit could see her rapidly cooling corpse even in the dim light of the tunnel. A small part of the young wizard felt the urge to vomit yet he pushed down the bile that was rapidly gathering in his throat, it wasn't the first time he had witnessed death. The Dementors saw to it that he would witness his mother's death at least a few times since his previous school year, but seeing the crimson blood coat the stone floors was something that just made twists and turns in his stomach. Meanwhile, the Khajiit wasn't too affected by the sight of blood or death. But in the corner of her eye, she could see that her companion was unnerved at the sight, which shows her companion's lack of experience witnessing the aftermath of a battle. It was just something that her companion would have to get used to, she highly doubts that this will be the last time blood will be today or any other day in the future.

"How in the Oblivion do they know that would be here!" one of the armored Blades growled as seeing one of their own fall.

One of the other Blades went down to the Fallen member of their company and picked up their sword " it matters not how they know we've come this far. Turning back poses a greater risk to the emperor and ourselves. We must continue forward" he'd spoken with strong resolve and acceptance of the situation.

One of the blades stepped towards the corpse that had belonged to their fallen companion "and what about her she was just assigned to this position" he looks down at the fallen woman her helmet flipped off as she had fallen in battle revealing golden hair and her sharp Imperial features that were now covered in her blood.

Taking in a deep breath for a moment while holding tightly onto the woman's sword "we will inform our order but she has fulfilled her duty to safeguard the Dragonborn with her life and her sword shall be added with the others that had paid the ultimate price in the service of the Empire and the Emperor himself." Both Blades looked eye to eye. While one simply nodded his head and went back into position.

The lead Blade opens the door to the next chamber a second Blade took a position behind the Emperor and stops after the emperor had entered the next chamber and turned around to face the two prisoners "I cannot permit you two to follow there's too much of a chance you both will turn and throw the emperor to the mercy of the Mythic Dawn just to save your own lives, if you try to follow us you will meet your end by my blade." The Blade bluntly stated as well as giving his reasons not to allow the prisoners to follow before any protest could be voiced man walked into the next chamber and closed the door and blocked from the other side denying access to anyone on the other side.

Affdahna let out an annoyed hiss and her growing could also be heard, her feline claws began to flex out of the tips of her fingers she was about to charge at the blocked door before the creaking sounds of the wood and the cracking sound of anchient stone and mortar. Bursting through the walls, two large massive Rats the size of dogs let out sharp squeaks before beginning to charge at what the two rodents must have thought was an easy meal.

Whipping out his wand and quickly intoned the spell that he had just learned before leaving Hogwarts "Rattus Mortem" the grease spell splashed against the one rodent and caused it to implode into nothingness. After learning that the betrayer of his parents' animagus form was that of a rat he wasted no time in finding the perfect spell just in case he ever ran into a 9 fingered rodent. It may not work on animagus but at least it would be useful in a rare situation such as this.

The other rodent saw what happened to their partner and was about to retreat but it never got the chance as sharp claws began to dig into its flesh causing the rodent to let out a pains sharp pitched squeak but its screams of agony were abruptly cut off and were quickly replaced with the low gurgling as sharp feline teeth were dug into the throat of the rodent, it's body began to spasm and kick before going limp. Affdahna dropped the body of the rodent and spitting the blood out of her mouth "Disgusting sewer rats" she kicked the body of the dead vermin aside, it was then that she had noticed something, opening and closing of her eyes and taking in a deep breath through her nostrils she could smell fresh air a light Breeze coming from an opening. She opened up her eyes and smiled "Affdahna has found another way to escape from here the Blades can do as they wish but Affdahna and Harry will escape" her smile became more of a grin as a light glow in her eyes began to shine more brightly in the dark.

Harry agreed that the hole in the wall provided an opportunity to escape, following behind his feline companion after seeing her enter the hole-in-wall, and cast a low-powered Lumos that would provide him visual aid. As soon as he had entered another rat had appeared within his vision and just like before he desposed of the vermin with the same spell as before 'it's a good thing that Ron isn’t interested in rats anymore' he thought to himself.

There was a hole in the ceiling of the forgotten chamber, single beam of light was shining on the remains of a skeleton that appeared to be chewed on most likely by the previous occupants, Affdahna wasted no time by trying on on a few of the belongings that were still untouched by the rodents. All that she managed to acquire was a bow, a rusty knife, and some leather boots she had slipped on and stomped her foot down in the attempt to force them to fit. She slings the bow over her shoulder while carrying the knife in her palm, then she continues to look around to find out where the source of fresh air is coming from. She had already determined that the hole in the ceiling wasn't where the air was coming from both by feeling and smell.

Following behind his feline companion, he didn’t comment when he saw her looting the dead of their belongings. After surviving 3 years of only Merlin knows what, he can understand how looting the dead seems to be justifiable in this situation. Hell, he used Time-Turner to rescue both Buckbeak and his Godfather, on all accounts he would be in trouble with the Ministry, and from what he read a 10000 galleon fine for the misuse of a Time-Turner would need to be paid. Then using one all while not having a permit to use it is an additional 10,000 galleons along with time served in Azkaban. Then he freed a “dangerous” creature and prevented a Ministry approved execution of said “dangerous” creature. Then there was the topping of the proverbial cake which was the immediate aiding of a publicly recognized criminal and preventing Ministry approved Dementor's Kiss. If any of the exploits of his third year was ever made known, he would turn from the-boy-who-lived to the boy-who-broke-the-law

The now fully equipped Khajiit moved away from the now barren skeleton, and then began surveying the rest of the chamber. Using her night vision, she found a dead Goblin which made her let out an annoyed hiss. "This one has found a goblin," disgust could be heard in her voice. As she eyed the dead carcass this had caused the raven-haired teen to move and to see what she had meant by Goblin.

Using the Lumos charm, the tip of his wand glowed and revealed what looked less like a goblin and more akin to a mutated ape, it had grayish-green skin with an elongated neck oddly shaped hands and feet with a large head, there were some points on its ears but not the same as a normal Goblin that he's familiar with. Using his hands to further his examination showed that the goblin was female evidence by its sagging breasts that hung within the small confines of the ragged clothes, the movement caused a clattering sound, as a key as it hit the ground.

Avoiding the light spell that her Companion had cast on through the tip of his wand, she quickly snatched the key and began to examine it. "This key is too big for a lockbox or chest, it must open that door over there." she pointed her finger in the direction where the door was near the goblin carcass.

“Huh?” He was blinking dumbly; he was surprised that he had missed that, he was gifted with better vision than he would ever hope to have normally along with a taller and stronger body yet his ability to recognize things within his immediate surroundings remained poor.

Moving past her magical companion with the key in hand she unlocked the door and opened it. "Come this way, this Goblin will be the first of many before we finally make our escape," she said as she walked a few steps into the new chamber. Harry was quick on her heels to follow behind her and tried to focus more on his surroundings and what’s in front of him so he wouldn't be considered a hindrance to his companion.

After battling a few more rats and reaching a point where the two could rest, Affdahna had found some new gear for herself; she had slipped on a rusted chestplate along with leggings to go with the new iron armor, she then found a Warhammer that had the same amount of wear and tear like the rest of the decrepit equipment.

Seeing how the armor and weapons were rusted and worn down, Harry had pointed his wand at the armor and intoned "Reparo," the weapon and armor were restored to pristine condition.

Looking at her newly restored armor and seeing how it was no longer rusted or dented, along with her warhammer that she had found, Affdahna could only smile at her companion that had done the repair work. "Affdahna is quite impressed with Harry's Magic." She complimented with a purr at his magical work, she then pointed out a few more weapons on the side and a few other items. She then picked up some food that had fallen through the grate that was over the little rest area that let through a small amount of that light illuminated the spot.

They shared what little food could be found in the chamber. The young teen wizard nibbled on some bread that was stale and some other scraps of food that were close to becoming rotten; the burly Khajiit warrior had done much the same. Their short respite came to an end as they continued moving on, whatever items that were of value were immediately shrunk and placed in Harry's pocket.

Once again Harry was casting rodent extermination spells, as he just wondered how many more rats he would have to blast before he had finally left this vermin-infested dungeon. He saw more rats coming toward him, as he was about to cast the spell again but before he could cast his spell the rodents immediately sped past him and his companion, then they heard the faint sounds of groaning and moaning.

Out of the corner of the corridor, there was a rotting human corpse that looked to be in the early stage of decomposition. With its putrid green skin and sunken eyes, it pulled its back lips revealing a horrendous odor that made Neville’s potion disasters smell pleasant in comparison to the sheer stench of rot.

Fighting the urge to vomit just at sight and smell of the thing, he never thought he would be facing an actual zombie. He guessed by its appearance, he noticed it beginning to approach him and his companion. He then noticed Affdahna charging at the undead monster with reckless abandon, with her warhammer at her side she proceeded to swing into the chest of the undead. The sound of cracking bones as they were pulverized by the force of the warhammer along with the squelching sounds of Rotting Flesh could be heard.

The undead creature only let out an annoyed moan, as it began flailing its arms to beat at the armored feline warrior causing little to no damage. Stepping up next to his companion Harry had pointed his wand at the zombie's head. He then muttered a disintegration spell, immediately Its effects were immediate as the zombie's head had disappeared. Instead of being reduced to ashes it simply exploded with rotting brain matter scattering the walls of the corridor.

He had watched the zombie go limp and then fall over onto its back, finally dead. "Shite, a real Merlin be damned zombie." Harry starts to wonder what other creatures he's going to run into on his escape from this prison.

With her sharp sense of hearing, Affdahna heard the odd name he had let spill out from his lips. 'Merlin,' she only assumed it was his way of naming one of the different nine divines. She didn't bother commenting about it, but she will ask him later about it as she made a mental note of it.

The structure of the path had changed from stonework to something more cave-like. They found a grisly sight, a set of skulls connected to a chain right next to a door. Sniffing the air Affdahna let out a growling hiss, "Affdahna can smell the fresh scent of goblins, had passed by here not too long ago. Affdahna and Harry must watch out for traps lest we join the skulls." She had said as she slowly began opening up the door and peeking through the crack in the door.

Looking at the skulls, Harry couldn't help but gulp at the thought of fighting goblins, he didn't know if these goblins fought the same as those from his world; he prayed that they weren't as fearsome as Gringotts Goblins. He switched his focus back on the path forward, seeing his companion sneak into the door after seeing her give him the universal thumbs-up, telling him that it was clear, he had mustered up all of his Gryffindor courage to walk into the shadows where his companion waited for him.

In the narrow cave-like space, the strong scent of cooked meat filled the air; it would make one think of pork when cooked. As they moved along they came across their first encounter of a Goblin that seemed to be unaware of their presence. It was using a mortar and pestle; It added mushrooms to the odd-looking mixture that could barely be seen in the dim light; once the goblin seemed satisfied with the mixture, it poured its unusual concoction into a glass vial that gave off a green sickly look.

Moving as quick as the wind, yet as silent as the night, Affdahna's clawed hand came over the Goblin's mouth before cracking its neck in one swift movement. Once the goblin was dead, she then moved on to what looked like a small campsite of sorts, with a giant rat on a stick that went through its rear to out of its mouth, it was in the middle of being roasted. Affdahna didn't think twice, and tore off a leg and helped herself with some of the cooked meat. Once she was done with the leg, she resumed her scavenging of the makeshift camp; she had found a locked chest and some meager supplies in a barrel. Harry, on the other hand, looked at the mortar and pestle and thought it might be useful later. With a wave of his wand, a quick incantation, "Scourgify'' now it was squeaky clean. Smiling at his work, he had shrunken and pocketed the item just like he had done with the other items found on his journey out of here. He had looked at the rat for a moment and considered tearing off a leg of it. His gut wanted to revolt at the idea of eating such a thing, yet he had eaten worse because of the Dursleys. With some reluctance, he had gone over and tore off a piece of meat and helped himself; surprisingly, the taste of the meat wasn't as bad as originally thought; it was just more or less gamey.

Affdahna had turned around with a small bit of loot in hand and showed her companion what she had found and wanted him to shrink it down so it could be properly stored for later.

Taking the small amount of loot that was obtained from the chest, Harry had shrunk in it and placed it in his pocket. Once more, Affdahna took the lead. But this time she was moving much more slowly and quietly upon entering the next cave chamber. She raised her fist in the universal sign of stop; she then pointed with her finger at the goblin that was pacing back and forth. Then pointing her finger at the Trap above, then points at the trigger of the Trap. It was a thin string of rope that had blended into the webbing made by spiders long ago, making it difficult to spot if someone did not have a sharp set of eyes to spot It.

Just imagining what the trap could have done to himself or his companion here, Harry couldn't help but be glad that his companion had sharp senses. He watched her move forward a little, extended a clawed finger, and stared at the Goblin like a cat that was ready to pounce on a mouse. He looked back at the Goblin and realized what she was planning on doing, and he prepared himself for the grizzly scene that he would be forced to witness.

With a quick swipe of Affdahna's claws, she triggered the trap when the Goblin was in the right position, the creature only looked up for a moment and took a deep breath to try and let out a yell of alarm, but the spiked logs took its life before it could even start. A loud squelching sound could only be heard in the small space of the cavern its head and brain explode upon impact, covering the floor around the corpse with a small amount of gore, and soon enough the goblin had fell chest first into what was left of its head with its body still twitching and writhing for a moment before finally stilling.

Killing a zombie while watching its head explode was one thing, but seeing a living thing was another. He managed to keep the bile that was building up in his throat down. He tried not to focus on the death of this Goblin like the previous one. As they were nothing like Gringotts goblins with their business suits and long hook-like noses. The one thing that these goblins shared were their eyes that were as black as a moonless night. The fact these goblins almost appeared to be a sub-species altogether with their teeth that were jetting out of their mouths. Then their oddly shaped heads, short, and their small pug like noses. Their clothing almost appeared tribal-like in nature made of bones and leather. They were definitely not Gringotts goblins.

Just like before the pair moved on to the next chamber, this time they managed to sneak up onto a pair of goblins that were conversing in goblin tongue, and the pair of escapees used the terrain to their advantage. They tipped a few logs, they rolled over and crushed the goblins; once they were dead, the area was checked for anything of value; if it had value it was immediately shrunk and was put into Harry's pocket.

The burly Khajiit woman had found an apple; she then gave it to her Mage companion. "Harry can eat better than rats." She held out the apple with a toothy feline smile.

He gave her a thankful smile in return; he then took the apple; once he bit into it, the juicy sweet flavor hit his tongue; he continued to devour it until there was nothing left but the core was left. Before he had thrown away the core of the apple, he had extracted the seeds and placed them in his pocket. He had an idea of using his magic to accelerate the growth of the plants so he could have more of those sweet juicy apples.

They have moved on to what they thought was the last cavern in the goblin-infested hell hole. Affdahna took the lead once more to survey the area, she had noticed one goblin that was patrolling around the massive cavern while another was sitting by a fire chugging a glass bottle of what she could only assume was alcohol. As she looked towards the center of the cavern she noticed there were several rats corralled like cattle; the goblin shepherd was laughing maniacally as he had poked one of the rats causing them to squeak in distaste because of the pain. At the end of the cavern, she could see you looked like to be the last goblin in this chamber, a female Goblin wielding a staff, with a goblin head attached to the top. She fought the urge to let out a hiss of displeasure at seeing what she assumed was the chieftess of this goblin tribe.

Harry had waited further back in between chambers, just in case his companion had to retreat and could rely on his magic in both the offensive and defensive sense. He had watched her return from the entrance to the next chamber, he quickly noticed the deep scowl on her face. "Is there a problem?" He asked her out of concern, and with his Potter luck, he could guess there was a problem, and he figured that he would have to do something, and he also guessed that most likely would not like it.

"Aye, Affdahna has spotted a few goblins. Affdahna can handle them but not the Goblin Shaman and her magic." There was a noticeable growl in her voice along with a bit of a hiss as she explained the situation in the other cave chamber.

After listening to what she had gathered and what the problem was, he came up with a plan on how to deal with them. "Here's the plan. I'll try to find a way to get the Goblins distracted so you could sneak up and deal with them while they’re distracted. Meanwhile, I’ll deal with the Goblin Shaman and her magic." It wasn't an ideal plan, but at least it will help them move forward past this.

Affdahna shook her head in disagreement, "Goblins will spot Harry and try to kill him. unless Harry has invisibility magic?" she asked.

He gave her his trademark Potter grin as he pulled out a silver cloth before expanding it into a large silver cloak. He quickly threw the cloak around him in one quick movement; immediately he vanished. The feline warrior was confused because she couldn't see, nor smell him. Right before she was about to call out to see if he was still there, his head appeared right in front of her, floating in the air.

She was only slightly startled by seeing Harry's floating head, but she returned her grin as she reached out and grabbed hold of Harry's hair. "Affdahna has claimed the head of a Mage. What am I going to do with it? Perhaps the people of the Mages Guild could enchant it to clean chamber pots," she said in good humor, with a grin on her face.

"Oi, you wouldn't do that with my severed head, would you? Anyway, I would simply moan and groan all night if you did that." He fired back playfully in good humor; the two lightly chuckled, low as to not be noticed. Their laughter quickly died down. As both companions took on serious expressions knowing what they would have to do and knowing the danger of what could happen.

"Be safe Harry, Affdahna cannot pay back her debt if Harry is dead." She had let go of his head and placed a hand on his invisible shoulder, before pulling her hand away.

He'd given her a single nod of acknowledgement with his floating head before throwing his hood over his head and completely disappearing.

She lets go of his invisible shoulder and then watches as his footsteps leave a small trail that only her sharp feline eyes could pick up. She prays to the nine that he will not get harmed in this endeavor.

Using the dim light he could see between one Goblin walking around and the other conversing in their goblin tongue, he made himself as quiet as possible. While looking at what he could use as a distraction, for a moment he thought about just grabbing a large rock and throwing it to the side of the cave wall to see if they would get distracted. Then he noticed a large Rock hanging on a leather string that was connected to a couple of pulleys following the pulleys with his eyes he could see the pulleys connected to the gate of the rat pen. And right next to the pen of rats was a goblin from earlier still poking at the rat with his sharp stick causing the rodents to let out sharp squeaks of disapproval of being stabbed for the amusement of the goblin as it let out a low chuckle for each time he stabbed another rat and causing it to squeal in displeasure.

Wearing his first-ever Marauder grin he reached over and grabbed hold of the stone and pulled it. The sounds of the squeaky pulleys was heard before a click sound could be heard as the gate to the rat pen had opened up to the absolute horror of the goblin as the dog-sized rats swarmed out of their captivity and jumped onto the one that had caused them pain before pouncing on his leg and devouring him.

The screams of the goblin that was being slowly nibbled on and devoured by the rats immediately caught the attention of the other goblins, brandishing their weapons, and leaping into the central pit of the cave. They tried combating the rats, but a few of them got killed by spellfire from the lone Shaman Goblin. With the distraction in full swing, Harry had moved along the side of the cave, straight to the sole magic user in this tribe of goblins, until he had stood right behind her. Grabbing hold of the katana's sheath, he drew the blade and swung it towards the female goblins head.

The goblin shaman's ears twitched only for a brief moment, that being the only indicator that she had heard the blade being unsheathed along with the sound of the blade cutting through the air. She ducked her head and avoided the near fatal decapitation and quickly cast a defensive spell to make her flesh as hard as oak. The creatures wild leaping on the pedestal forced her to stop assisting her Goblin kin with her staff. Facing the direction where she had heard the blade being unsheathed, she couldn't see the person, nor could she smell them, thinking that they were just invisible; she began to cast a steady stream of lightning from her staff head to draw the invisible foe out.

A very loud 'Protego Maxima' could be heard along with the rippling visual effects of a protection spell. This had brought a wicked smile to the grotesque Goblin's face as she began continuing the stream of lightning from her staff along with follow-ups of bolts of flames escaping from her free hand.

He never had thought that the Goblins would have a strong sense of hearing, especially this one that was now hammering against his defenses that he had put up as soon as he had failed to kill the Goblin in one blow. He could see arcs of lightning battering against his shield along with large balls of flames causing him to pour more power into his wand to strengthen his barrier. He never thought a primitive version of goblin would have such power; it made him imagine just how powerful a civilized Goblin would be with their own magic such as the goblins from his own world.

The onslaught of magic continued, meanwhile the armored Khajiit was skulking around in the shadows, waiting for the Goblins to finish off the rats. She had a satisfied smirk watching as most of them were either killed or maimed by the dog-sized rats, the one that poked the rats that were completely devoured down to his bones with only scraps of flesh still attatched to the goblin, while the others were either injured from spellfire or from the rats themselves. The only thing that broke her attention from watching the group of goblins that were in the pit was her companion that invisible yet still defending himself from onslaught of magic she let out noise of surprise because he didn't kill the Goblin shaman, perhaps after when this was done she would teach him how to move more stealthily to catch a enemy by surprise. Redirecting her focus back to the Goblins, she raised her warhammer and let out a warcry right before jumping into the pit. With one mighty swing she caved in the chest of one Goblin while knocking others on their asses, she continued swinging the warhammer; there was nothing more satisfying than crushing her enemies with a warhammer. She continued her savage attack crushing or smashing the remaining goblins when she was done she heard a loud shriek that sound inhuman and caused her to worry, leaping out of the pit; she looked over toward the direction where the goblin Shaman and Harry were fighting just to see who was the source of the shriek.

He had watched his friend out of the corner of his eye letting out a warcry and laying waste to the goblins, along with hearing the loud shrieks of pain from the goblins, no doubt crying out in their own tongue for mercy, along with the grotesque sounds of bones cracking and flesh ripping. He would have felt more sick if he wasn't already bloodied by killing a few of his own goblins, redirecting his focus back onto the Shaman in front of him, that was pouring out more and more lightning onto his defenses; he could feel the drain on his core as he was trying to defend himself from the magical lightning he knew if he didn't do anything soon his defenses would collapse and he'll be turned into ash by this Shamans lightning.

Within moments he could see cracks beginning to form on his shield despite the amount of power that he was pumping into it, having no other choice he left his protected shielded area. Dropping his spell and letting out a hiss of pain as the lightning caught his leg to the side while being underneath the invisibility cloak. He would have taken the time to try to sneak up the goblin again but seeing how she turned her head in the direction where he was left to no doubt either hearing him or smelling the burns on his leg, however it didn't matter as he could see her raising her staff about to send out another torrent of lightning.

"Expelliarmus" he cried, outputting every ounce of his magical power to rip the staff from the Goblin's hand. Completely catching the goblin off guard. The Shaman could only watch as her staff was ripped from her hand as it flew through the air, only to be caught by a hand that appeared out of nowhere. The last thought it had was wondering how it was possible before she let out a sharp shrieking sound as she was killed by the lightning by the staff that held the head of her predecessor.

It was surreal using this powerful staff that had a severed Goblin head on it. Harry can only guess what his bookish friend would say about how uncivilized creatures can create such an item, yet the practical side would have to argue about letting creatures so uncivilized having access to this level of raw power. There was a bit of grim satisfaction to be had by killing the goblin that injured him. Yet as soon as it was killed the power of the staff of lightning had fizzled out into just sparks coming from the eye sockets of the staff.

"Harry's shadow walk needs some work," the armored and bloodied Khajiit had given her companion a playful grin which immediately died when she could smell burnt human flesh. Without saying anything, she removed his invisibility cloak without damaging it and looked at the part where she could smell burnt human flesh. "Harry should be more careful and use defensive magic that doesn't require him to focus on one thing at a time," she said in almost a lecturing tone of voice as she raised her palm over the burnt flesh and began focusing on the small bit of healing magic that she knew.

He was about to retort on how this was his first battle between another magical that wasn't human, and trying to keep up with a wave of lightning that seemed to go on without end, only to be kept silent by the relieving sensation of healing magic being poured into his leg. He watches golden streams of energy coming off from the palm of Affdahna's hand. As soothing as the magic was, it quickly died down, living behind just a burn scar on his leg.

"I didn't know you could do magic, what branch of magic was that?" he asked as he began touching the newly healed bit of flesh and finding no pain as he probed the now scarred part of his flesh.

Letting out a huff, she went over to the shaman's pedestal and noticed there was a chest, and again to unlock it. "Affdahna is a warrior , a warrior must know a few healing spells, however Affdahna is no mage," she explained her use of magic while she focused on the lock of the chest before it clicked. They looted the chest and added the loot to the shrunken pile.

With the loot gathered from the dead, they headed off to the next part of their journey to try to get out of the Imperial prison.
