Sitsi as the one who found and rescued Patrick, he now belongs to her. She takes him back to her tent, laughing about how she's been commanded to breed to this human, but in her eyes, he doesn't exactly 'measure up' - so she derides and insults his manhood, before questioning him about his relationship with his Whtietail Doe, who waits at home for him. He also learns, its not wise to tell lies - especially when their Spirits are watching - and the wolves can smell them...

Patrick remained kneeling, as the aged, withered Wolfess lectured him on their tribe, their culture and their gods. He found it fascinating, but remained silent. He quickly realised, this old Wolfess was wise, their historian, their medicine woman – and their chieftain. She rewarded his questions with a whack on the head, and a chastisement, calling him a stupid child who knew nothing.

It was true – he did know nothing – he'd never even imagined a tribe of...what were they? They were neither wolf, not human – some sort of hybrid?

“Stupid child!” She snorted and whacked him, as if reading his mind. “We are children of Rugaru, I tell you this, you not listen?”

“Ow!” He yelped, then rubbed his aching head. “Forgive me wise one, but I do not understand. How can – how did your people...”

“Rugaru made us, we his children, his pups – we always exist here! Foolish children humans, they hunt us, call us beast, murderer – we not hunt and kill their kind? Why they hunt and kill us?”

Slowly, a mental landscape began to form in Patrick's mind. These creatures were Werewolves? That...

Again, she cracked him on the head, then growled, low and quiet. “Beasts! Unclean! They are not children of Rugaru!”

“Forgive me, please, I didn't mean disrespect – it was – a thought, an innocent thought!”

“Spirits speak to me, they read you like I read sky!” Nodding, the Wolfess cackled. “You know nothing, yet think you know everything! Typical puppy, thinks it can learn nothing from elders, before it learns it really knows nothing!”

“I agree with you - “ Patrick laughed softly, rubbing his head. “So, you're children of Rugaru, he is...forgive me, I ask merely to learn. He is your – father?”

Again, she cracked him and he yelped and flinched. “Rugaru is not father! He is Great Spirit, we honour and walk with Rugaru, others! Father is – father, as is mother! We not born from Rugaru, how can spirit lay with mortal flesh?”

“I deserved that...” Patrick admitted, feeling chastised.

“Unlike Great Deer Spirit – he take deer form, take women of tribe, put them with fawn, he like to be mischievous, but he also protects his tribe. He wise and strong and can be gentle. Rugaru he not afraid of Deer! Deer is both friend and enemy, food for pups at times!”

Frowning, Patrick tried to make sense of it all. “So, there's another tribe – like –“

He flinched, as the Wolfess raised her staff.

“I meant, a tribe, of deer people, like you, but not wolves – but deer?”

“I understand now, yes, they deer people – but deer people are...strange. They mate indiscriminately with deer, or each other! We not mate with wolves!”

Patrick felt a thought trickle through him, then he quickly banished it as the Wolfess raised one eyebrow slowly, then chuckled quietly.

“Spirits amused by man child thoughts. Wolfess would find you...funny and – inadequate...”

Gesturing with her staff, the Wolfess pointed at Patrick's penis.

“Hey!” He squealed and blushed, covering himself with his hands.

“You funny, spirits laugh, I laugh – is good! Deer people, they would like you – you would make good practice for young Bucks, maybe play with doe, see if she like you. Wolfess? She find you funny – you not, where it matters.”

“I - “ Patrick blushed, turning a brilliant red.

“No matter, you mate with Sitsi, you belong her now – Sitsi find you, bring you here – why? Who know. Maybe Spirit talk with her, tell her you brought here?”

Patrick's mouth fell open and he stared, wide eyed. “You...want me too – mate – with...”

Nodding, the Wolfess smacked her staff on the ground three times, before she smiled.

“Spirits speak to me, I speak to you – Spirits are, curious, Sitsi good bitch, she do what Spirits demand! Maybe Sitsi not break you, like break Deer Brave that day...”

“I...wait, I can't – I mean...” Patrick moaned.

“It done!” Snickered the Wolfess, as Patrick gasped, feeling the rope picked up and he was dragged out of the Chieftain's tent.

Sitsi it turned out, was a black wolfess, with silver highlights through her luxurious fur. A headband wrapped around her forehead and behind her ears, adorned with a single feather that hung down near her left ear.

“Sitsi commanded to mate with human-child. Sitsi obey, but think man-child poor substitute for wolf!”

“How would you - “ Patrick yelped as Sitsi tugged the rope, making him stumble.

“If that – thing is man-child sheath? Sitsi think will die laughing first!” She snorted, then a smile curled her lips.

“I...I don't have a sheath, no – but, well...oh gods, there are children around and I'm naked and...”

Sitsi stopped, then looked around, the other various coloured wolves watching on – including about a dozen pups. None of them wore any clothing – not even a loin cloth, just their fur and maybe a necklace or head adornment.

“Wolves not care for – man-things! Restrictive, hot, itchy...we have fur, fur protects and warms us, cools us when we hot, why man things wear outer furs?”

“We don't – I mean, we don't have 'fur' like your kind. We get cold and hot, and our – society – our tribe, demands we cover ourselves. It is modesty and - “

“Silly man-child!” Sitsi growled. “Why cover what Great Spirits birth you with? Why hide from their gaze?”

“Truly...I wonder that myself...”

“Come, Sitsi think man-child will be – funny – to mate with, much laughter, man-child is not wolf, not even -”

Glancing from the corner of a dark eye, a smile curled Sitsi's lips again.

“Man-child not even puppy...down there...”

*

Back in her tent, Sitsi slipped off the rope and knelt down, looking over Patrick, who felt like a deer trapped under the gaze of a wolf.

“So, Sitsi must breed this – man-child? Well, Sitsi does what is commanded of her, so, pup, what do you know about pleasing a Wolfess?”

“I – I confess I've never made love to one of your kind before. So, please, forgive me if I'm a little...unsettled.”

Scratching behind her right ear with her claws, Sitsi frowned. “Would man-child prefer a Buck, or a Doe? We can get one, Deer are easy for us to catch, Sitsi can do this if you like, if you don't think you can teach me!”

“I - “ Patrick stammered, his face flushing as he squirmed. “I'd never - “

With a snort, Sitsi stared into his eyes. “Wolfess smells lies man-child, you will be wise not to lie to us, we know...you have mated with doe – many times, Spirits are – amused – tell Sitsi why you mate with Doe?”

“I - “ Patrick swallowed, then hung his head. “Kelsie is, my friend, my lover, I admit that! I raised her from a fawn, she is – bonded – to me, and I am to her. She is my Whitetail doe, and when she was two, she chose me as her stag. We have shared our love for each other ever since.”

“Huh.” Sitsi grunted. “This is – interesting tale, you say you bonded to her, to this – doe? She is like Sitsi, yes?”

“No, Sitsi, she is – a feral doe, like a...a feral, a wild doe, do you understand?”

Sitsi frowned, thinking for a bit. “Then she is prey, no?”

“No! I'd – I'd never kill and eat her, she is my lover, my mate, my partner – I love her dearly, and she loves me – in her own way. I can't explain it properly, its – its unnatural for a human and an animal – to have a bond like that.”

“Why?” Sitsi asked, frowning and resting her chin on her paws. “Deer tribe, they mate with deer and each other – heard they mate with human-child too, pah. Why deny yourself, if animal chose to mate with you, Spirits direct him or her – they obey! Why is it wrong, if human-child and doe mate?”

“It...just is, amongst my people, its wrong – illegal even, I would go to jail, be locked away for years!”

Shaking her head, Sitsi snorted. “Human-child speaks babble. Never-mind, come, show Sitsi how human-child mate, I am – curious. Maybe I'll not tear your throat out and we'll eat you for dinner tonight!”

Patrick stared at her, eyes wide in horror and disbelief.

“Is joke, human-child not have joke?” Sitsi laughed delicately, intentionally hiding her long fangs.
