Chapter 95: Someone's Someone (The Dawn Of Civilization Part II)

Day: TBD

Location: Time tunnel

“Now that is different." Cody said looking around. “What is this place?"

“I don't know." Primrose responded while holding Dr. First's hand.

“I have never seen anything like it and judging by your reactions neither have any of you." Richard said as the five of them floated about in a dark tunnel punctuated by yellow pieces of light around them. “Sir Ram?"

“I have no explanation human. Mara?"

“I think it is a result of us now having the ability to control when we jump from one time period to the next rammy." The caprine said.

“So now we can determine when we leave, but what about where we go?" The she rabbit asked.

“No Prim." The she goat responded.

“When you figure that out my dear it will be a big strategic advantage." The big horned sheep said to his lover.

“And I will, it will just take…... time." The goat lady responded to Richard's, Cody and Primrose's groan.

“So at this point, no one knows where we are headed?"

“No human, but our next stop we will be your last." Sir Ram said staring down the physician.

“May I ask why?"

“Because presently you are less than useless to us and our cause; you are from a distant past."

“Sir Ram that is unfair!" The cat boy said. “Richard was in a time period he was not familiar with!"

“I agree with Cody." The rabbit girl interjected. “YOE 36 was 91 years past his present! I don't think any of us could have been prepared for what happened."

“Thank you two." The physician said. “I but I think I was indeed quite helpful. I prevented the good ram from giving his life for a lost cause. It would have done no good for any of us to die during the siege of World Seven. I get it the mission must come before all else."

“Very good human, you are learning." Mara replied.

“Yeah but now the survivors of the lost city are well lost." The cat boy responded.

“One thing disturbs me though why was the monster king so fixated on capturing Linias, Haem and Sandu?" Primrose asked as they started slowing down.

“Perhaps he considers them his property?" Dr. First responded as he also noticed the tunnel seemed to be disintegrating.

“Looks like we are about to exit!!!" Mara shouted as the five stopped floating and suddenly fell.

Mara, Cody, Richard and Primrose exited the yellow flashing oval into what appeared to be a small conference room they landed in a heap near a corner while Sir Ram fell head first striking a round table with his chin, bouncing off it and landing on his left leg… the wrong way.

*CRACK*

*AUGH*

“And Cody Spencer sticks the landing!!!" The white cat said standing triumphantly.

“That is because you landed on all of us son." Richard responded.

“Mara where are we, when are we?" Primrose asked standing.

“I can't tell Prim there is no date displaying on the PDA…. Oh my." The she goat said locking her eyes on the table her lover had just bounced off of. Seated around it were five equine like creatures of various colors who stood up and were looking at the interlopers. They wore long white robes their bodies were bare with the exception of black undergarments.

“Careful everyone- no sudden moves." Mara warned.

“Sir Ram are you alright?" Dr. First asked.

“My leg, it is broken!" The beastial moaned in pain.

“Well, it is a good thing that I came along then isn't?" Dr. First said as he and Sir Ram were surrounded by the equines from the table. Their faces displayed a range of looks from amusement to confusion.

“Get back!" The ram said startling the crowd as he presented his sonic weapon.

“Rammy it is ok." Mara called out to her lover. “Besides they are about half our size."

“It would seem that they are just as curious about us as we are of them." Primrose said.

“<*>.<*>" One of the equines, a orange colored horse said stepping forward.

“I have no idea what you said but this creature is injured and needs medical attention." Dr. First said gesturing to the beastial warrior.

“You are touching me human." The the big horned sheep grumbled.

“And you are not helping ram." The grey haired physician grumbled back.

The orange equine turned to a white equine who then conversed with a taller grey equine in a language that Primrose, Cody, Richard, Sir Ram and Mara did not understand.

The orange horse then knelt down to touch the injured beastial's leg.

*AWK* “That hurts!!!"

“It looks like you fractured it in three places." Richard said. “I think they realize it too.

Sir Ram looked at the orange equine like being. His eyes appeared to be friendly and inviting.

Time Hunters journal entry. Primrose Willow recording. Cody, Mara, Sir Ram, Dr. First and I managed to manually time jump during the fall of World Seven as the fort became overrun with the Monster King's forces.

_Although the five of us did not see the conclusion of the fighting, it was a foregone conclusion that the monsters in that settlement were captured and returned to the monster king. As for the non monsters, based on what Malicious said to us before we disappeared, they were most likely devoured or eaten on the journey back. What we witnessed lends yet another sense of urgency to our mission. Even Dr. First is starting to see that. _

After disappearing from YOE 36 we reappeared aboard some type of space craft - station inhabited by friendly extraterrestrials who appeared to be equine in nature; we interrupted a meeting of theirs when we emerged from the time portal. Sir Ram broke his leg in the process. We soon realized that we were no longer on Counter Earth but in outer space. But why did the black PDA bring us here?

A little later…

“How is the mini bed ram?" Dr. First asked.

“Small but comfortable." The beastial scientist answered. “And it is Sir Ram, human. In my time I am a knight and one of the smartest minds in the empire."

“A warrior-scientist. Now that is a combo I still can't fathom." Richard replied.

“All right you two quick bickering." Cody responded as a gold colored equine approached the quintette in the medical bay carrying a silver platter.

On the platter was a singular silver circular sphere. The equine presented it to Mara.

“What is this?" The caprine asked as her companions looked on.

“Is that some type of sex toy?" Cody asked.

The negative stares he received from Richard, Primrose, Mara and Sir Ram, shut big sexy down really quick.

The gold horsie rotated his paw next to his mouth just under his chin several times.

“Mara, he wants you to speak. Say something." The rabbit girl responded.

“Hello little horsie what is your name? Where are we? What is this place?" Mara said to the spherical device. “By the way, I like the body length white robe but the black underwear is going to take some getting used to."

“Ah much better. It took a while for the translator to decode your words but I am glad it finally did. I am Artax." The being said bowing.

“Incredible." Dr. First exclaimed. “A device that can instantly translate languages."

“Yes." The gold colored horsie stated. “Now who are all of you?"

“Yes. I am Dr. Richard First. This is Primrose, Cody, Ram and Mara. We come in peace. You see we are travelers."

“That much is understood. I heard you interrupted a meeting by our council and the big one here injured his leg."

“Yes. He is going to spend months healing." Richard said to the equine-like being.

“Actually, no." Artax responded. “Here."

The being pressed a few buttons on the ram's bedside and instantly his left leg was encased in a cast.

“It should be healed in a few of your hours."

“Remarkable! This would have taken months!" Dr. First responded.

“With your primitive human technology. Beastial science would have healed it instantly." Sir Ram said condescendingly.

“It would appear that their medical knowledge is somewhere in between." Primrose observed.

“You are on the sky station Sefeiren." Artax said.

“Sky station?" The cat boy asked.

“Yes my, what is the word… tribe… species… evacuated here."

“Remarkable! I wished we could have done the same thing with our world." The rabbit girl exclaimed.

“So you are refugees as well then?"Artax said as another entered the equine healer's medical unit. “Excuse me one moment."

“Hey Artax."

“Teagan."

“How are our interlopers?" The grey and white horsie said nuzzling his friend.

“Except for the big one with the horns, they are doing fine. He is going to be in traction for a while. They are refugees who have fled their world."

“Interesting, they are as different to each other as they are to us. Well, Salis determined that they are harmless." Teagan said squeezing Artax's ass.

“I have made that determination as well. If they don't have anywhere to go, I would recommend they join us on our quest for a new world."

“Say Artax, I know a secret."

“What secret Teagan?"

“Change is coming."

“Really?"

“If you want to know it is going to cost you…" The white horsie said smirking at the gold.

“Teagan we are friends, nothing more no matter how much you want it to be." Artax said shooing the white horse away. “Now leave me be, I have a patient to attend to."

“Uh huh." The white horsie said departing.

“That looked rather interesting." Cody said as the gold colored horse blushed.

“Please ignore Teagan he can be a bit much at times. Anyway, our leader has granted you passage with us. Please feel free to enjoy yourselves."

“You mean we have the run of the station?" Cody asked his tail wagging.

“Great do you have a library or history archive- I and my young companion would like to learn as much about your society as we can." Dr. First said grabbing Cody by the paw.

“Down the hall two lefts and then a right."

“Come on Cody." Richard said pulling the cat boy. “These are the first extraterrestrial beings I have ever encountered we could learn a lot from them.

“Do we have too?" The white furred cat boy protested.

“Mara, you and Primrose go explore as well." Sir Ram ordered.

“We have some interesting diversions on the promenade level." Artax said bowing.

“My what a generous offer." The goat lady said. “What about tools? One of our scanning devices is in need of repair."

“All that we have is at your disposal Mara."

“Which way?" The rabbit asked.

“Two rights and a left." Artax said pointing.

“Come on Mara, let's explore. This the first time I have been in outer space."

Meanwhile...

“I think we are lost Cody. Artax said two lefts and a right… right?"

“How could that be? Everything is circular." Cody watched two young foals race what looked like hover vehicles on the floor and then up the wall of the circular hallway they were walking down.

“Affirmative." Dr. First responded to the cat boy as the scenery changed from a view of space to planet side.

“Why is there a park here, a forest there and hills over there?" Cody asked.

“Say you are the refugees I have heard about!" A tan equine approached the pair from the nearby park. “Hello honored guests I am Alydar."

Like the rest of the beings they had met. He also was wearing black underwear and a long white robe.

“Richard First and this is Cody Spencer."

“We are in outer space right?"

The tan being nodded.

“How can what we are seeing exist then?"

“This is a biosphere which took the place of our home planet when we were unable to live there." Alydar responded.

“So this is a manufactured self contained world in space?"

“Yes Richard."

“Remarkable. Just when you think you have seen everything and life has nothing more to offer and you see this."

“Were you searching for something?" The tan equine asked Dr. First.

“Actually yes the library. I and my young colleague would like to learn about your culture and customs."

“Like why do you dress the way you do." The cat boy blurted out stupidly.

“Cody!"

“Does everyone here dress only in white robes and black underwear?" Mr. Spencer asked.

“Yes." The tan pony said.

“So not just the males are topless but even the females?" The white furred cat boy inquired grinning stupidly.

“Yes, I can show you if you like." Alydar said.

“Fascinating."

“And now you are interested?" Dr. First said.

“Any civilization where it is a societal norm for females to be topless, hey I am there! Now if we could just find another where the females are bottomless too."

Meanwhile at a shop on the promenade...

“Mara have you ever seen anything like it?"

“A purse with fluid sacks." The rabbit girl responded.

“That allows it to change into any color you desire." A female equine said.

“Amazing." Primrose said.

“You like it yes?" The yellow horsie asked.

The rabbit girl nodded.

“Then it is free for our honored guests. Are you having fun exploring Sefeiren?"

“It is a wonder of wonders." The goat lady responded to the female equine. “But I can't help but notice that not everything is accessible. Some areas seem to be closed off especially below this level."

“Oh that? They are just restricted."

“I take it that they are areas vital to the space station's operations- power, life support, gravity?" Primrose asked the yellow horsie.

“Um, yeah. You shouldn't go there… ever." She responded.

“Hmm…." Mara said pulling Primrose away.

“Something wrong?"

“She is lying." The goat said to the rabbit. “Since our arrival…"

“You feel like our extraterrestrial hosts have been hiding something from us?" Primrose asked.

“No. It is like they have been preoccupied. You noticed that they have not asked how long we were staying, given us rooms or even escorted us around. We have been left alone."

“I see what you are saying Mara we have been given free reign to do what we want. Is it a cultural thing?"

“I am not sure, but I want to look around a lot more. Prim, why are you looking at her chest?"

“Sorry. Their clothing is so minimal, how could I not?" The rabbit girl replied.

Meanwhile at the library…

“Well here you are, this is our knowledge repository." Alydar said guiding Cody and Richard into a small room that looked more like a bar then a library.

The tan equine watched the two walk to a counter and start pulling up records. Well the white feline did, the human observed then copied his actions.

“I can't make heads or tails of this." Dr. First said.

“I believe that is because you can't speak or read our language." The tan horsie said sitting down next to the human and cat. “If you would like I could answer your questions."

“Excellent, a cultural exchange then." Cody said. “Why do you greet each other they way you do?"

“You mean like this?" The tan horsie said nuzzling the cat boy on both his cheeks. “This is how we greet each other what about you?"

“Where I am from we shake hands." Richard responded.

“And where I am from we hug like this." Cody said embracing the equine being. “It is a sign of affection."

“Nice custom. Please tell me more." Alydar said.

At a nearby power facility…

“As I suspected that shop keeper Saurus was not entirely truthful."

“Mara?"

“As far as I can determine this room provides power to Sefeiren." The goat lady said pointing to a panel of flashing lights. “Over there is life support and communications, now where is…"

“Mara! Someone is coming." Primrose said her ears twitching.

“Talk about being exposed."

“We shouldn't be in here!" Primrose panic-whispered.

“Well they should not have given us free reign of the station then." The beastial engineer said. “HEY!!"

*YOINK*

The she rabbit and her companion dove behind some equipment in a corner.

“Teagan for the umpteenth time I do not wish to be your boyfriend." A gold colored horsie said entering the power room. He was followed by a white equine.

“But Artax it is the only way I can protect you from what is coming. We are a package deal you and me- together."

The gold colored equine nuzzled his friend. “Teagan no more distortions, misdirections or obfuscations what are you going on about?"

“Know this, Artax, I… I… have feelings for you and I just want to keep you safe." Teagan said running out the room. The goat and rabbit looked at each other as Artax followed his would be companion.

“There is more going on than meets the eye." The she rabbit said. “We need to regroup with Sir Ram, Cody and Richard."

“Ah ha!"

“What?"

“I found the gravity control! All vital systems run through this room. This is an amazing feat of engineering!" The female caprine declared.

That evening in a cafeteria on the promenade…

“Greens for the you, you, you, and you." Salis said placing what looked to be a edible napkin in front of each of the time travelers before doing the same to Alydar and Artax. “I know what we eat here is a big adjustment for all of you."

“Not if you are herbivores." Cody Spencer huffed.

“Thank you for offering us refuge Overseer." Richard said to the grey horse-like extraterrestrial who stood a few feet taller than those around him.

“It is the least I could do. I assume that the five of you will be staying with us for a while?"

“Yes." The caprine replied to their host. “Like you we are looking for a new home."

“Well then I guess we should find some positions for each of you on board to augment our staffing. I will need to give it some thought and let you know."

“Cody and Richard can stay with my family Overseer." Alydar replied. “We had a great time this afternoon learning about each other and the cat plays a mean game of Motos; He picked the game right up."

“I am still tending to my patient. Primrose and Mara can stay with me- close by him." Artax said. “I think Saurus can find them a change of clothing too."

“Very well make it so." Salis said. “I have some more matters to attend to, but please feel free to contact me if you need anything further. I bid you all good evening."

That night…

“We are sleeping in that?" Richard said eyeing a long rectangular tan cube shaped bed. “It rather reminds me of a water bed."

“Why yes." Alyadar said holding a brown and white pony's paw.

“Together?" Dr. First asked.

“Why yes Richard." Alydar's mate said batting her eyes. “Communal sleeping is a time honored tradition among our kind."

“Cody said that it is also a tradition in your culture as well." The tan pony said.

“Well it erm, um is where he comes from." The grey haired man said to his hosts.

“What about where you come from Richard?" Two female younglings said entering the room followed by Cody.

“Well, not so much. Only married couples share accommodations."

“My that sounds so lonely." The she equine said climbing into bed. She pulled Alyadar who then grabbed their guest.

The two completely relaxed the fifty six year old human; the female lay to his right messaging his chest and her mate to his left messaging his stomach. To the untrained eye it looked like a triad.

Richard tried not to look at the she equine's chest but it was kind of hard to do when there was nothing covering it. The tan and brown equines had removed their robes long ago.

“In this great universe all we have is each other; no one should sleep alone." Lyria said as her mate smiled.

“Such wonderful customs!" Cody exclaimed from the otherside of the bed.

“Did you have enough to eat honored guest?" Alyadar's daughters Zaos and Quetz asked in unison.

“Yes. I am sorry that my diet is not what you are used to." The cat boy said resting his head on one of the female's chest while the second one spooned him from behind.

The two females looking after the white furred cat boy soon fell asleep leaving Richard, Alyadar and Lyria alone.

The good doctor soon found himself a front row seat as Lyria clasped his arm while Alydar bred her from behind.

“Mmmm…." The aroused female said. “If you are not careful Alyadar that will lead to more foals."

“EERFF!! Too late Lyria."

“AHHHHH!!! That was the most fun since we left the biosphere." Lyria said.

That admission caught Richard's attention. “Fled the biosphere? I thought this space station was the biosphere?"

Later that night….

“This bed is so soft Artax." Primrose said as she was hugged from behind.

“Yes it feels like jelly." Mara interjected as she embraced the rabbit girl.

“It helps me sleep better." The gold colored horsie said. “I see you two are very close."

“We have been traveling together for a while Artax."

“I guess we depend on each other for safety, comfort and security." The she rabbit admitted as she was sandwiched between goat and horse.

Just then some strong arms latched onto the gold pony forcibly turning him to his side.

“I can help you sleep even better Artax." A white pony said before kissing him deeply and passionately.

“Teagan what are you?" The tan horsie stuttered.

*SMOOCH*

“You know we complete each other." Teagan admitted.

“Yeah." Artax said looking into his eyes before returning the kiss.

“Together at last my love. That last yeah was you agreeing to be my boyfriend right?" The white horsie asked.

“My that one was quite persistent." Primrose watched as the two equines nuzzled.

“We should give Artax and Teagan some alone time." The goat lady said. “Prim?"

“I know why Cody is fascinated with these beings." The rabbit said following the goat from the bedroom. But she had to take one last peek to confirm what she saw was really happening- it was! The white horse was resting the gold on his torso cupping his bum with his left paw while grasping his genitals with his right.

“Looks like they are going to be a while." Mara said dragging the rabbit girl into the hallway.

“So what do we do in the meantime?"

“I want to check on something." Sir Ram's lover said wickedly. “Follow me and be quiet."

The pair crept along the inner ring to the outer ring and then made their way to the restricted floors of the space station Saurus had warned them about. It was there they found a locked door, an entrance to the lower levels.

The rabbit girl analyzed it for a moment. “This is not locked it has been sealed shut Mara."

The former engineer held a paw finger to her lip silencing Primrose. She then knocked on the sealed door loudly.

*TAP* *TAP*

Was the response from the other side of the door. The rabbit and goat looked at each other.

The next morning….

“There is my patient!" The gold colored horse said. “Time to remove your cast."

Mara took the big horned sheep's left arm and Richard his right. Together the two helped Sir Ram to his feet.

Artax then approached Sir Ram's cast, touched it and it disappeared.

“Astounding." Sir Ram exclaimed.

“How do you feel?" The horse-like being said.

“My leg, it is completely healed! Thank you Artax."

“You are welcome ram. Will you five join me and Teagan for our morning meal?"

“Yes save us a spot." Cody responded.

“These beings are very kind and generous." Primrose responded.

“Meaning?" The white furred cat said looking at his rabbit friend curiously.

“Artax and Teagan hooked up early this morning."

“Those two allowed me and Prim to watch them. The gold equine does seem to be happier this morning." Mara said.

“I watched Alydar and Lyria do the same before I fell asleep." Richard admitted.

“Tell them what happened afterwards!" The cat boy said.

“When I woke up, Alydar was spooning Lyria and she was spooning me."

“And…" The cat boy said.

“Their daughters were doing the same to you." Dr. First stated.

“And their bedroom was full of their musk." The cat boy grinned. “It smelled fantastic."

“Ahem, aside from that their level of technology is quite impressive." Dr. First stated.

“You should see our own century human." Mara stated closing the door to the room.

“Dearest?" Sir Ram started to say.

“Primrose and I did some checking overnight while Artax and Teagan were becoming boyfriend and boyfriend." The she goat said to her lover.

“You found something?"

“Yes rammy we found the entrance to the lower levels was sealed tight for some reason."

“When we knocked on it there was tapping on the other side of the door." Primrose responded as Richard turned pale.

“You have something to add human?" The ram asked.

“Alydar and Lyria said something interesting after their mating session last night. There was another biosphere before this one we are on now. It was a space station that was in a decaying orbit over their dead planet."

“Go on." Mara said with interest.

“A scientist named Equis tried to convince the Overseer they were in danger but no one believed him. He and his friend Bunky somehow saved the station from destruction."

“But the following week an incurable madness-plague befell the residents of the biosphere, those who were unaffected evacuated in a life craft. It is what we are traveling in now." The cat boy said.

“Who told you this Cody?" Mara asked.

“Alydar's daughters."

“How long ago did this occur?" Sir Ram asked.

“About a week." Dr. First responded. “I also pressed our guests for details. They said that Equis was the first to succumb- the symptoms were weird- his eyes were googily and he had a eerie smile. It then spread to Bunky and then many others."

The beastials faces before him turned blank.

“Rammy could this be it?"

“I believe so my nanny."

“Could someone fill me in?" Dr. First asked.

“It is starting to add up." Primrose said. “Why we appeared here on this spacecraft and why we can't determine an accurate date on the black PDA."

“Why is that?" Richard asked.

“Because I think we have arrived before recorded time began on our world Dr. First." Cody responded.

“A time where ONE saved a group of extraterrestrial beings and their biosphere only to enslave the lot of them." Sir Ram said.

“A small unaffected group fled in an escape craft unaware that some of the enslaved came with them." Mara added. “That is why the lower levels are off limits and the horsies are distracted."

“Come on human add up the clues." Sir Ram said to Richard. “You are supposed to be the historical expert."

“The entity takes over the ship, enslaves those who are left and then tours the galaxy eventually arriving on Counter Earth which leads to…. what happened to your civilization."

“Very good human." Sir Ram said glaring wickedly.

“This is the opportunity we have been looking for rammy we can prevent the synoptic's conquest on our planet right here, right now."

“Mara what did you have in mind?"

“Why destroy the ship and all life aboard Dr. First." The goat lady said.
