The Demonstration
A heavy metal door clanged as it swung open. "My apologies for keeping you all waiting," the jackal said as he walked into the room, flicking his sunglasses off and stowing them in his shirt pocket. The board of directors did not look happy to see...
Loop
Loop Salem lost count. He fidgeted and tried to remember how high he had gotten. 25? 87? 200? None of the numbers seemed familiar. Had he not even made it to 25? Salem fought back the urge to panic. He couldn't hear, couldn't smell or taste...
Little Kukla
Heidi felt the floor shake under her feet and knew immediately that the front door had slammed shut. In her excitement, the little arctic fox nearly upset a mug of tea as she threw her headphones off and dashed for the living room. The floor continued...
Toy for the Night

[Patreon] Cursed Loot
The battle had left Tiko covered in muck, sweat, ichor, dust, and the assorted detritus that accumulated in dark caves. The grimacing cheetah lifted a hand and summoned a Personal Raincloud that began to drench him and wash all the grime away. Another...

The Desk Fox
"Your office is right this way, Mr. Dascomb." The wolf tried to loosen his tie a smidge as he followed his new ringtail secretary to his new office at his new job in a new city. He was trying to maintain the aura of calm and command that had helped...
[Patreon] The Werewolf's Pet
Alexis slowed her car to a respectful slow puttering as she wound down the long driveway. She did so in part because it gave her a chance to look out at the wonderful early evening San Francisco Bay dropping away before her, and in part because the...
Power of the Sea
Rudy loved people-watching. The town of Turtle Beach was small enough to avoid the big luxury hotels and massive crowds that came with them, but was also big enough to bring in its unique mix of eclectic visitors. You would see species there you...
