Draconic Discipline: The Burden of Failure

***

Makaidos surveyed the fortified human city at the base of the mountain they made their lair on, his heart pounding with fear and doubt. Distant silhouettes patrolled the walls. Some manned ballistas. Others sat in the towers, the soft glow of their crystal staves twinkling like stars in the night.

And some...rode above, on the back of fierce gryphons. His flock of dragons, ten strong, was not nearly enough to breach fortified defenses even a group twice the size would struggle against.

"What is our quarry, captain?" A dragon asked, young, from the dim tone of his growl. "Should we torch the towers first? Or strafe along the walls and eliminate every one of their archers?"

Makaidos remained silent. The cold wind of the night whipped through his scales with a force that seemed almost unnatural, chilling him to the bone, heightening his sense of impending doom.

Gathering his courage, the blue armored dragon finally turned around to face his two other captains, Nalashar among them.

"I...cannot see any path that ends in any other way than the termination of our flock. That fortress right there....that's death," he argued, his voice shaking. "We cannot hope to win against their defenses even if we numbered thrice the size. Too many of us will die, and for what? To kill a lord who will be replaced tomorrow by an even wretched warlord, who would see us put to the spear?"

Nalashar the red, scales glinting in the dim moonlight that shone upon the top of their position, tightened his wings at his sides. "Makaidos has a point," he said to the pairs of wings and heads around him. "We must think of our flock before anything else. Let the humans sleep in their cozy homes tonight, for their days are numbered."

The other captains bristled at their words, their nostrils narrowed in contempt. "What are you suggesting, Makaidos?" one of them hissed. "That we cower like whimpering wolves while the humans continue to oppress us?"

Makaidos shook his head, trying to control the tremor in his voice. "I'm not saying that we should do... nothing. We shall merely bide our time until we find a chink in their armor. But to do so, we need to be smarter than they expect us to be. If we throw ourselves at their weapons, we shall fall having achieved nothing of worth"

The other captains, dark of scales like the leader of the flock, exchanged glances, their expressions hardening at the whiff of such weakness. "The fear of having your scales pierced is clouding your judgment like a whelp who's yet to spill his first," one of them growled. "We will not stand by while you put our entire plan at risk. If Harhrasahad stands tall when the sun climbs in the sky, those gryphons we see will come after us, with sorcerers on their backs!"

Everyone else seemed to agree. One by one, the other dragons took flight, their massive wings beating the air as they soared toward the city, cloaked in the night's inky darkness. Nalashar hesitated, his eyes filled with conflict. But in the end, he too joined the assault.

Makaidos watched the other dragons soar into the distance. Shame and guilt weighed heavy on his heart, for he knew that he would face the consequences of his decision upon his return to camp. With a resigned growl, he took flight, heading back to face his punishment in the bosom of his temporary home.

As he landed in the encampment they carved from the courtyard of a once glorious castle, Makaidos felt the eyes of his kin upon him. He almost felt their dripping disdain. What would they think of a deserter? A coward? A disgrace to their cause?

He snorted, focusing on his surroundings. To his left, a massive emerald-scaled drake methodically sharpened its claws against a stone pillar, its focus unyielding, carving deep gashes into the already scarred masonry. A ruby-eyed wyrm to his far right, obsidian of scales, extended its wings wide, allowing a trio of industrious kobolds to oil and groom its leathery membranes, each of their tiny hands moving with practiced precision.

Above, atop a crumbling battlement, two smaller dragons of a brighter color, with hides dappled in gold and copper hues, tangled in what seemed like playful combat, their hisses and snaps echoing across the yard. They were attended by an older male with iridescent blue scales that lounged gracefully amidst the cracked ground, his neck arched elegantly as a line of kobolds fed it chunks of raw meat, each morsel dripping with blood.

The twang of hammer upon anvil made Makaidos stare towards the far corner, partially obscured by a collapsed archway, where an elder dragon with scales as white as moonlight supervised a group of kobolds. They were carefully crafting armor, hammering metal sheets to fit the contours of its massive body. The rhythmic clang of the metalwork blended seamlessly with the footsteps, the growls, and the shuffling of wings of the dozens of dragons perched around various parts of the castle.

Yet...who noticed him? Few looked, and even fewer paid him attention.

He swallowed hard, steeling himself for the warranted retribution.

With slow steps, he approached Safik, the golden wyvern tasked as the Watcher of the camp. Standing before him with his wings folded in respect, Makaidos bowed his head. "I submit myself for punishment," he said, his voice barely audible. "For I have been Craven."

Safik's piercing eyes narrowed as he looked down at Makaidos. "So you've chosen to save your own hide rather than fight alongside your kin," he said coldly. "We are as strong as our conviction, and we look up to leaders like you to guide us to glorious combat. Instead, you return, bringing the stain of shame upon the castle you helped liberate!"

Makaidos flinched at the harsh words, but he did little to defend himself.

"Nothing to defend yourself with? Not even a growl?" Safik said, his voice dripping with contempt once the craven truly proved the embodiment of that word. "Very well. You will wear irons around your soft parts until the next moon brightens the gloom. May its chill remind you of the consequences of cowardice, and its repugnant smells."

Makaidos's heart clenched at the thought of the humiliating punishment. The chastity belt was a symbol of weakness and disgrace, meant to strip a dragon of their dignity and pride. He had never imagined that he would be forced to walk around covered down there like a pleasure-slave.

Without delay, Safik summoned a pair of kobolds to assist him in the task. They approached Makaidos with the chastity belt, their faces impassive in the face of their task They carefully fastened the simple, rather uncomfortable chastity belt around Makaidos, their nimble hands deftly working the buckles and straps required to hold the thing in place.

With the chastity belt tightened around his privates, Makaidos grimaced under the throbs of humiliation that washed over him once his vent found itself forever barred from sight. He knew that every dragon in the camp would see him as a coward, a failure, just from this implement alone. The whispers and mockery that would follow him like a specter, as vile as the scents that would brew in that tight, enclosed space.

Once tightened in its final place, the belt's cold metal bit into his scales/ He knew that he would be unable to relieve himself while wearing it, adding to his discomfort and degradation.

With the chastity belt secured, Safik dismissed the two kobolds, his emerald eyes focusing back on Makaidos' drooping head. "You are to fly to the top of the castle, where you shall remain, battered by wind and forgotten by us all, until asked otherwise." The wyvern hissed. "Fly now, Craven. Inflict us not with the stench of your failures."

Makaidos bowed his head in submission. "Yes, Watcher," he whispered, his voice barely audible among the growl stirring in Safik's throat.

As he took flight, Makaidos almost felt the weight of the chastity belt dragging him down, both physically and emotionally.

His thoughts raced with every flap of wing that took him further into the sky, a place of freedom and opportunities, yet where the shame and humiliation of his punishment continued to follow.

As Makaidos circled the spires, he could truly see the devastation wrought by his kin during the assault. Things looked...different now that zealous humans no longer tried to end his life. The once-magnificent stronghold stood blackened to soot, a crumbling ruin, really, its walls cracked and scarred by dragonfire. The surrounding lands, even those inside the walls, fared no better, laid to waste by fire that burned for days.

As he landed in the castle's upper courtyard, the smell of charred wood and stone filled Makaidos's nostrils. He entered the castle's innards, then walked through the desolate halls where humans once reigned, his footsteps echoing in the eerie silence. The grand tapestries and ornate furnishings once adorning these sumptuous rooms were now nothing more than ash and rubble. The inhabitants, both human and animal, showed little of their presence, the lack of corpses and scattered belongings hinting at a rapid departure once the flames started consuming the outskirts.

Makaidos wandered further into the castle, Part of him resonated with a sense of sadness at the destruction. The humans had been their enemies, yes, but had the castle and its occupants truly deserved such a brutal end?

His thoughts were interrupted by the sudden appearance of Velgaros, the very commander of the flock. The black-scaled dragon emerged from the darkness of the ballroom that Makaidos realized he ventured in, his crimson eyes blazing with anger and authority.

"Well well, it seems my flock is not as united as I hoped."

Makaidos immediately tightened his wings at the sides and bowed so low, he touched the ground with the tip of his snout. "Commander...I-I was sent here to-"

"Speak no further. I smell the reason well enough...Craven."

Though Velgaros was only slightly larger than Makaidos, his imposing presence made him seem much more massive. His sharp, black scales seemed to absorb the light, giving him a fearsome, otherworldly appearance.

Adding to his intimidating presence, Velgaros wore a suit of gleaming silver armor, each piece crafted to fit his body almost perfectly. The armor only served to accentuate his spiky, terrifying form, making him a figure looked upon by dragonkin, and feared by their enemies.

Makaidos could feel himself shrinking under Velgaros's intense gaze, his body instinctively submitting to the more dominant dragon. Curled tail, trembling legs, tense muscles... He tried to stand tall, but the weight of the chastity belt and the shame it represented made it nearly impossible to do so.

"So," Velgaros growled, the click of his talons more menacing than any growl he could muster amidst his low, silken voice. "You are the one who refused to fight alongside your kin. A captain. Tell me, Makaidos, what could have possibly been more important to you in that moment than the immediate destruction of a town we need?"

Makaidos swallowed hard, struggling to find the words to explain himself, struggling to keep the pain of his improper position sheathed behind the same iron-like discipline the chastity plug was made from.

"I... I feared for our kin, Commander," he stammered. "The humans' defenses were built with purposes. Im-impregnable. I thought-"

Velgaros snorted, his breath like a blast of hot wind. "You thought one less dragon would yield better success? Fear has no place in the hearts of our flock, you pitiful creature."

Makaidos bowed his head further down, forehead scrapping the dusty floor of the chamber, the chastity belt digging into his scales as he did so. "I understand, Commander," he whispered.

Velgaros began to circle him yet again, his movements predatory and deliberate, a slithering presence as terrifying as the darkness that surrounded them.

"You call yourself a dragon? A leader?" Velgaros hissed with contempt. "You achieved nothing with your decision, while your kin, your flock, are lending their flames to our cause!"

With every word, the breath coming through the small spaces between the sharp teeth of his snarling jaws was as warm and terrifying as the growl smoldering within the black dragon's throat. The darkness of the night only served to make Velgaros appear more menacing, his black scales blending with the shadows around him.

Makaidos tried to protect himself, tucking his wings close to his body and seating himself down, curling his tail around. "I... I..." he repeated weakly, knowing that any sign of defiance would only provoke the wrath of the commander further.

Velgaros's claws scraped against the charred stone floor with terrifying grace in his steps, creating an eerie sound that echoed throughout the castle's empty halls. "Fear... is what we instill in others...we hone it. We use it. We never become prey to it!" he snarled, punctuating his words with a snap of his jaws that sent shivers down Makaidos's spine.

"Will do better. Will learn better..." Makaidos whimpered. "I will...I will..."

Velgaros continued to circle him. "So you keep repeating, whelp. But do tell. How do you plan to atone for your sins?"

Makaidos hesitated, struggling to find the right words. "I... I will do whatever it takes to regain my honor, Commander, and make my flock whole" he stammered as if his very jaws were tied and wrapped like his privates.

Velgaros snorted, his breath hot and heavy against Makaidos's scales. "Words are cheap," he said coldly. "You'll have to prove yourself through actions."

"I will, Commander," Makaidos dared to look into his commander's eyes. "That...I swear."

"See that you do," the black dragon warned, his voice as cold as his stare. "Or that cage you wear will be the least of your concerns. Now come. I shall supervise your punishment myself."

With one final warning glare, Velgaros spread his wings and ascended through a large crack in the ceiling, heading towards the castle's battlements. Makaidos, hesitantly, followed him, hoping that the worst of Velgaros' anger ran its course. The air grew colder as they climbed higher, a chilling reminder of the desolation that now surrounded them.

Upon the battlements, the beauty of the full moon watching upon the lands below struck Makaidos. The moonlight created a stark contrast between the serene night sky and the black ashes caking the castle's charred stone, writing the history of the violence that had taken place there in ash. The wind too carried with it the acrid scent of burned wood, flesh, and stone, lingering in Makaidos's nostrils as a constant reminder of the destruction wrought by his kin. The very thing he would've done, if he...if he--

"Nrrf..." he shook his head off the maybees and could be's, the sound of his own labored breathing echoed in the silence, punctuated only by the distant howls of wolves on the prowl. The once-mighty walls, now broken and crumbling, seemed to symbolize the shattering of his own spirit under Velgaros's relentless condemnation.

Once they landed, his claws scraped against the rough, scorched stones beneath him, and he couldn't help but wince at the sensation. The cold, lifeless battlements offered no comfort, their jagged edges like the unforgiving nature of the world they inhabited. Every sense he had came under assault by the bleak reality of the devastatiob mirroring the turmoil within his own heart.

Though they both landed, they waited, a moment of silence spreading between the two dragons, the cool night air gently rustling their wings as they stood on the battlements. Makaidos dared to believe that he had suffered through the worst of Velgaros's wrath, but the heavy, expectant atmosphere hinted at more to come.

And come, it did.

When Velgaros's weight crashed into Makaidos with the weight of an avalanche, he found himself swept away pinned down under the stronger dragon's body. Makaidos gasped, his breath coming in short, panicked bursts as Velgaros leaned in closer, his crimson eyes burning with intensity.

"Do you know what happens when cowardice takes root in a flock, Makaidos?" Velgaros growled in his face, teeth baring their sharp tips little by little. "Rrrhhh, let me delight you with a story...one that shall, unlike that pitiful contraction you wear, will forever remain etched upon your scales..."

As Velgaros spoke, he applied more pressure to Makaidos's body, ensuring that the pain of his words would be felt as deep as they were heard. "Many years ago, I led a flock of dragons into battle against a group of savage gryphon riders. We were a strong, fierce group... or so I thought."

"The cowardice of a few dragons began to spread among the rest, seeding doubt into the hearts of the many. As we faced the gryphon riders, those doubts grew into fear. Fear that made us second guess our tactics. Fear that...made our formation crumble, just like our enemy wished us to."

Velgaros's voice took on a sharp, bitter edge as he continued his tale. "The gryphon riders picked us apart, one by one. I watched, heard, bled as my kin fell around me, their bodies torn apart by beak and talon. I tried to rally them, but by then, they sought to save themselves, turning back against the savage gryphons, fleeing...for the last few moments of their lives before their wings were torn like the flesh of a human under the shadow of my rage."

Makaidos squirmed beneath Velgaros's weight, his scales scraping against rough stone and claws alike. Every word bit him. Every word...stung him. The spite flowing out from Velgaros's snarling maw sent fresh waves of pain coursing through his body, the lesson burrowing its way deep under his tattered scales.

"By the time the battle was over, nearly my entire flock lay dead or dying. The few survivors scattered to the winds, their spirits broken by the cowardice of the fallen kin," Velgaros growled, his eyes never leaving Makaidos's face. "It was then that I swore never to allow fear of anything, human or otherwise, to poison my kin again."

Upon saying so, Velgaros slowly released his hold on Makaidos, allowing the smaller dragon to draw in a shaky breath. "Now you will prove to me that you are no longer a craven," he commanded on a cold and unforgiving tone. "You will topple me down, or you will suffer even more."

Makaidos hesitated as he slowly rose on his fours, tail swishing, his body still trembling from the weight of the lesson he had just been given. Velgaros's crimson eyes narrowed, and he repeated his command, leaving no room for doubt. "Do it, whelp. Prove your strength!"

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Makaidos lunged at Velgaros, his claws outstretched and his wings flared. The black dragon easily sidestepped the clumsy attack, his silver armor glinting in the moonlight as he sneered at Makaidos's feeble attempt. "Weak. Weak and obvious!"

Makaidos tried again, this time aiming for Velgaros's legs, hoping to unbalance the larger dragon with a swipe of his tail. But Velgaros was quick and agile, deftly leaping over Makaidos's sweeping tail with a mocking growl.

With each failed attempt, Makaidos's desperation grew. He could feel the weight of Velgaros's impatience bearing down on him. His movements became more frantic, less calculated, fatigue far beyond the weakness of the flesh taking hold as he threw himself at Velgaros with reckless abandon.

Velgaros, however, seemed unaffected by Makaidos's efforts. He continued to dodge and weave with ease, his agility and strength a stark contrast to Makaidos's wild, uncontrolled attacks. The black dragon's growls of mockery filled the night air like a resonant chant, cutting through Makaidos's resolve like a knife.

The blue dragon paused for a moment, trying to catch his breath and gather his thoughts. He knew that he needed to change his tactics if he had any hope of succeeding. He glanced up at Velgaros, searching for any weakness or vulnerability that he could exploit.

Immediately, his eyes fell on the silver armor that covered Velgaros's body, the joints and seams offering the only hint of vulnerability. And then, he attacked yet again, this time aiming for the joint where Velgaros's wing met his body. He narrowly missed the swipe as he ducked under a slapping wing, his claws scraping against the armor with a harsh, grating sound. But the attack was enough to catch Velgaros off guard, and Makaidos saw a flicker of surprise in the black dragon's eyes.

Emboldened by this small victory, Makaidos followed up with tail whacks and further prying grabs, targeting the vulnerable points in Velgaros's armor.

The commander of the whole flock, however, seemed to catch on quickly to this change. He adapted to Makaidos's new strategy, deflecting his attacks even before they connected, his mocking growls turning to snarls as he berated Makaidos for his weakness and ineptitude.

"If only you mastered the art of undressing humans, perhaps this war would be over by now!"

The scalding heat of Velgaros's taunt seared through Makaidos, yet he rallied against it, every muscle taut with steely determination. The echoing cadence of their skirmish ratcheted up, wings beating, tails slashing, pain melded into a backdrop.

Spotting a glinting chink in Velgaros's armored carapace, Makaidos summoned every ounce of energy, hurling his tail with a blinding velocity towards the perceived weakness. This had to be it, the move that would shift the tides of their duel. But air and a faint clink were all that met his strike. Instead of a triumphant pierce.

The misjudgment sent a frigid wave of realization through Makaidos. He had overplayed his hand.

With a menacing roar, Velgaros lunged, the entirety of his menacing bulk smashing into Makaidos like a tempestuous wave. The world spun as Makaidos skidded along the battlements, claws and steel scraping against the ground in a futile attempt to stabilize.

Before clarity could return, Velgaros fell upon him, imposing and inescapable. Mighty talons clamped onto Makaidos, pressing him down once as the inferno of the elder dragon's breath singed his face, every snarl a dark promise of what was to come.

"My vent? You dare aim at my...Graaahhhh! That... was most unwise... whelp!" Velgaros hissed, his voice trembling with restrained fury. Makaidos could see the anger smoldering in the commander's crimson eyes, and he knew that he had pushed the larger dragon to his breaking point.

Makaidos lay there, pinned beneath Velgaros's merciless grip, his body aching and bruised from his futile attempts to topple the black dragon. He could feel the weight of his failure pressing down on him, knowing that he had only succeeded in proving himself even more unworthy in his commander's eyes.

As Velgaros's snarling face loomed over him, Makaidos trembled, cold tendrils of fear wrapping around his heart.

"A dragon's loyalty," Velgaros snarled as he delivered a blow to the blue dragon's side, "is unbreakable!"

Makaidos tried to steel himself against the onslaught, but the pain seemed to seep into every fiber of his being. He couldn't help but flinch and cry out with each brutal strike, his body involuntarily recoiling from the force.

The black dragon continued, voice filled with fury. "Courage is not the absence of fear, whelp! It is the ability to face it head-on!" With these words, he lashed out yet again with another paw, striking Makaidos's flank and leaving a set of deep, bleeding scratches in its wake.

Makaidos struggled to process the lesson through the haze of pain, his thoughts scattered and disjointed. He desperately wanted the torment to end, but Velgaros's relentless determination only ended when he wanted it to. Never earlier than needed.

He pressed on, every word laced with the same deep seething hatred he had for Cravens. "A true dragon does not shrink from greater threats, even if they claim his life. He faces it with pride and conviction, knowing that his life will be praised by the flock in sacrifice for the greater good!" He punctuated this particular lesson with a powerful swipe of his tail, the impact sending a wave of agony through Makaidos's's lower regions.

Despite the storm of pain that threatened to overwhelm him, Makaidos felt a spark of rebellion ignite within him. That very same courageous mote Velgaros preached about wanted to resist, to fight back against these brutal teachings. But the black dragon was relentless, forcing Makaidos into absolute submissiveness with each crushing blow of tail, paw, or otherwise.

It was not long at all until Makaidos's body began to tremble with exhaustion, blood seeping from the harsher scratches inflicted by Velgaros's merciless strikes. The blue dragon could feel himself slipping, his strength waning with each new wave of pain.

Finally, the barrage of blows ceased, leaving Makaidos battered and gasping for breath. Velgaros towered over him, his crimson eyes burning with fury, and disappointment. "Now," he growled, saliva dripping from his bared fangs, "explain your cowardly act of disobedience!"

Makaidos hesitated, his voice so weak and broken that struggled to find the proper words. "Life..." he winced, "life is so... precious. I could not bear the thought of leading my flock to certain death."

Velgaros stared at him, his eyes narrowed already. "And what of the lives you risked by disobeying orders? If all were as craven as you, that town would still stand, and with it, thousands of fresh reinforcements would test the might of our flock. A flock already battered by the pain of too many losses."

Makaidos flinched at the accusation, the truth of Velgaros's words hitting him harder than any physical blow. He knew that the black dragon was right, that his actions had been selfish and dangerous. But he couldn't shake the feeling that there had to be a better way.

"You're...right. We lost too much. Agretthn, Swyrlar, Kharvoz..."

"Names forever etched in our memories. Yet fealty and courage are not about blindly following orders, whelp! How many times must I say" Velgaros snarled, "They are about understanding the consequences of your actions and accepting the sacrifices that must be made for the greater good. If blood flows in defense of our kin, then that blood is worth spilling! Will you spill yours, Makaidos? Will you bleed this weakness from your veins?"

The answer was obvious from the start.

He had a few minutes to prepare. Gather his ragged breath, tend to his seeping wounds, decide on how to endure even more...before the barrage resumed, each blow landing with more force than the last. The chastity cage, still secured around the blue dragon's vulnerable underbelly, dug into his scales with each movement, painful and uncomfortable.

As the pain grew and the pressure of Velgaros's blows increased, Makaidos found himself unable to hold back his weakness any longer. He could feel the urge to let it loose, a primal response to the fear of death that gripped him.

He tried to resist, knowing the consequences of giving in to his body's demands would be dire, but the weight of Velgaros's fury, combined with the relentless onslaught of pain, proved too much for him to bear. His bladder betrayed him, and, in a sharp squirt, the first trickle of urine escaped his penis, despite his best efforts to hold it back.

The chastity cage, designed to humiliate and punish, did its job perfectly. Instead of providing relief, the act of urinating only brought more pain to Makaidos. Little by little it build up, and once every room inside his vent bloated with warm fluid, the urine seeped out of the cage, stinging his already raw and battered flesh, mingling with the blood that had been drawn from Velgaros's brutal strikes.

The acrid smell of his own fetid weakness and the coppery tang of blood filled the air around Makaidos, engraving the reminder of his failure and the price of his disobedience deep in his soul.

Velgaros paused for a moment, tilting his head in curiosity. "Look at you," he growled, dripping with disdain. "You're pathetic, wallowing in your own filth and fear...Craven."

Makaidos tried to protest, to fight....to find some shred of defiance within himself.

But the pain... the humiliation... the chastity cage that tormented him with every moment left him broken and defeated. All he could do was hang his head, allowing the tears that had been threatening to fall for some time to finally escape, mingling with the blood and urine that stained his once-proud scales.

"To think, you show the sentimentality of a human. Pitiful!" Velgaros sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. Each word, each syllable, a fierce strike against the diminishing willpower of the smaller dragon, forcing Makaidos deeper into submission.

His vision blurred once the commander -his leader- stepped over his slouched form, every nuance of anxiety and shame magnified under Velgaros's oppressive presence.

"Is this how low you've fallen? Mewling like a puny, two-legged creature?" Velgaros's cold, hard gaze seemed to pierce through towards Makaidos's soft, defenseless core, where the weight of his failures became almost suffocating, pinning him beneath the elder dragon's judgment.

"Perhaps a more rigorous re-education is in order. You need...stern reminders...in how a dragon should act!" Velgaros hissed, with a cruel smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth, tall and imposing, every inch of him casting a dark shadow over the weakened blue dragon.

"I'll...fight. I shall...protect the lives of-"

"Enough of that nonsense, whelp! If you care about life so much, might as well choke on it!," Velgaros's snarl resonated with a chilling edge, reminiscent of the piercing winds that had once howled through the skeletal ruins of their conquered castle.

Once he found himself cast into the darkness of his wings, a void where only the eerie clank of Velgaros's armor and the ominous clicking of his menacing claws could be discerned, an acrid stench of fear - his own urine - wafted up, mingling with the metallic tang of blood oozing from his bruised scales, a cocktail of defeat, of humiliation.

Yet, as the armor above him shifted and powerful haunches encircled his head, another aroma began to permeate the atmosphere. A scent so potent and distinctly draconic, that Makaidos almost shivered in response. The powerful musk of a mature dragon's vent took him completely by surprised, for he expected worse...far worse.

Trepidation, together with a strange, reluctant anticipation swirled within his breast. Every instinct screamed resistance, but his body, wearied and overwhelmed, responded in a contradictory fashion. There was an undeniable allure to the scent, an ancient call that resonated deep within his dragon instincts.

Makaidos's breathing grew ragged, his nostrils flaring, betraying his involuntary intrigue upon scenting the raw scent of his leader. He despised his own weakness, loathed the dichotomy of his emotions, yet there was no escaping the primal response Velgaros elicited from him. He felt trapped, ensnared in a web woven from fear, submission, and a begrudging admiration for the strength of his captor. Velgaros's musk intertwining with the scent of the castle's cold, broken stones. The smooth, yet powerful aroma of the dominant dragon left no doubt regarding his status.

"Smell it. Smell the strength of a true warrior!" Velgaros drawled, arching his muscular neck to look at how his victim's snout made contact with his vent within a single shove of his hips, strong, dominant...overwhelming.

Makaidos, in a stark contrast, felt small and insignificant. After a single sniff, he lowered his head, trying to draw breaths that didn't choke him with that dominating musk. His chest heaved with visible effort, each inhalation straining his nostrils, filling them with the flame of a strange, yet deeply rooted arousal.

The brief stutters, the clear discomfort, were not lost on Velgaros. His sharp, obsidian gaze observed every falter, every hesitant twitch of Makaidos's snout as tried to acclimatize himself to his scent. The ridges along Velgaros's spine bristled subtly in agitation, his powerful tail flicking with suppressed ire. "If this mere scent weakens you, how will you stand before real might?" he questioned, his voice dripping with condescension, while his wings ruffled in disdain.

Makaidos's cerulean eyes darted back nervously. Indeed, how could he?

His tail, once a symbol of his defiance, now coiled close to his body, betraying his anxiety. The looming threat of exclusion from the flock weighed heavily upon him, more oppressive than the shattered castle walls around them.

Sensing his advantage, Velgaros thrust himself forward, rubbing his own vent along his captive's snout, hissing in delight as his prey shuddered and licked, weak prods of tongue marking the contact between the strong and the weak, the predator...and his prey.

Velgaros's nostrils flared, taking in Makaidos's own scent, a mixture of fear and submission. Using his nimble tail, he nudged Makaidos's face upwards, ensuring their eyes met.

"Go on. More."

With another nudge, more forceful this time, Velgaros pressed his vent harder against Makaidos's snout, marking him with his scent, making a clear statement of ownership and dominance. The weight of Velgaros's expectations settled heavily upon Makaidos, every ripple of the black dragon's scales echoing his dominance. "Lick," came the low, rumbling command from above, a stark tone that allowed no room for dissent.

Makaidos shivered. His neck trembled slightly as he extended his tongue, tentative and wary. The first touch was a stark contrast to the hard, armored scales of Velgaros's underbelly - warm and unexpectedly soft, like the delicate membrane of a wing caught between rays of sunlight.

With no room for reprieve, he continued, each dab of his tongue bringing more of that musky taste upon his clattering jaws, each push of tongue diving deeper into the depth of Velgaros's male-vent. It wasn't just a shallow recess but a wet, engulfing rift, each crease and fold glistening with moisture, each inch more sensitive than the last. The taste felt almost overpowering, yet the sensation of probing it...that warm, yielding texture against his tongue, consumed his thoughts.

Gingerly, Makaidos explored deeper, whining as he did so, feeling the fleshy insides pulse and quiver under his touch.

Something seemed to shift within that tunnel of flesh.

"Grrhhhh, you lick like a hatchling...more. Take...everything inside that unworthy mouth of yours!"

That next order fell hard, even more daunting than the first. Makaidos's heart thundered in his chest, the rhythm frantic and uneven at the implications of that request. Velgaros's girthy member throbbed hard in anticipation, worked by thrusts and growls, pushed toward him like the inevitability of fate itself, challenging him to comply.

Licking quickly, Makaidos's focus remained solely on the task at hand. As Velgaros's member slid towards him, the ridges became more pronounced, each bump and groove an added obstacle, making the ordeal of fitting him inside his own mouth all the more overwhelming. Each throb seemed to challenge Makaidos's ability to pleasure such a dominant dragon, the swelling girth of a shaft too large for his snout pushing him to his limits.

Makaidos's jaws tried to accommodate as much of the shaft as possible, the physical strain reflected in every shimmering droplet of tears cascading down his cheeks. But as the black dragon grew in both lust and eagerness, a sudden thrust made Makaidos's throat clench involuntarily, the unexpectedness of the act causing him to momentarily pull back.

That fleeting moment of hesitation, however, came with a heavy price. A mighty paw met Makaidos's head. Steely fingers clenched around his snout, thrusting him down against the unforgiving, rocky ground beneath.

"You are disappointingly inadequate," Velgaros's rumbled, his growl simmering deep with displeasure. The menace in those words hinted at darker intentions, sending a shiver down Makaidos's spine.

"If the maw refused to relent, perhaps the tail will see this lesson better received!"

The weight of the moment hung heavily in the air as Makaidos felt a warm, insistent pressure against his tailhole. Each throb of his heart seemed to match the rhythm of the pulsating sensation threatening to breach his innermost sanctuary; something not even the cage could fully hide. Fear and anticipation warred within him, emotions that should have been incompatible, yet still existed simultaneously. Knowing that he was about to be claimed like a female, combined with a budding desire, enhanced the paradoxal dread of the moment.

"Hrrrhhh....yessss..." the black dragon spread his wings, dominant and unyielding, the hiss biting as sharp as the heat that filled his victim. The initial pressure grew into a more pronounced stretch, a surprised whimper escaping from Makaidos's throat. It wasn't born from pain or fear, but from an unfamiliar anticipation. The sensation was undeniably overwhelming, yes, yet every nerve ending in his body seemed to focus on that single point of contact, capturing his entire situation in the expanding ache.

Velgaros beamed at the eagerness and acceptance beneath him. He let out a deep, guttural snarl. But it wasn't a sound of anger; it was one of pure, unadulterated pleasure.

"Feels like you've been taken before," Velgaros rumbled, dripping with dark amusement. "Fitting of a Craven, how comfortably familiar it feels to be inside one who has accommodated so many."

The heady mixture of dominance and need emanating from Velgaros dripped with the same warm slickness squirted by his cock. With Makaidos's head pressed firmly against the cold ground, and his ass exposed, the sapphire dragon's world became a tangled trap of emotions. The steady rhythm of Velgaros's thrusts, the unmistakable clink and clatter of their armor colliding, the building heat between their bodies, and the friction created by every movement became an all-consuming flame that instilled more pleasure than pain.

In that regard, Makaidos's reactions surprised even himself. Instead of recoiling, he pushed back, matching Velgaros's eager rhythm. Inside the twitching, groping expanse of his tailhole, that previously daunting cock felt...good. Felt...right. Every thrust sent waves of pleasure coursing through him, sensations he hadn't anticipated stirred by the ridges traversing the small, nerve packed surface of his prostate. His whimpers grew louder, more insistent, expressing the ecstasy of one who enjoyed to be take. To be had. His tail involuntarily twitched and coiled, his claws scraped at the stone beneath, as if trying to let out some of the steam that built within his needy being.

The rutting pace set by Velgaros continued in the same unyielding manner, we plaps of vent against ass shaking the growls spreading between them. With every thrust, he claimed more of Makaidos, their combined energies merging and feeding off one another. The formidable black dragon, with his piercing red eyes, had taken control, and Makaidos, the sapphire gem beneath him, had willingly surrendered. His cerulean eyes, misted with pleasure, occasionally caught glimpses of the sky above, but it seemed distant and irrelevant compared to the ecstasy of the present. The wind whipped around them, hardly able to cool the blaze of their shared passion.

But as the intensity built, Makaidos's legs kicked out, not in resistance, but in a desperate need for more. The strength and power of the alpha dragon inside him made him feel strangely...wanted, so he sought to embrace it fully, to meld with it.

The warning from Velgaros reminded him where the former stood, and where his victim lay. Makaidos could feel the hot breath of the black dragon on the back of his neck, the snarl tinged with a threat that dampened the fantasy of it. Velgaros's words served as both a caution and a stark reminder of the dragon's role and what was at stake. They were warriors, destined to take to the skies and defend their territory, and a weakened dragon would be a liability.

All it took was a whimpering moan for more, and Makaidos immediately felt the unyielding grip of Velgaros's fingers around his snout, pressing his errant jaws shut. The powerful restraint forced him to internalize his growls, his vocal cords vibrating with suppressed energy as he endured the tumultuous combination of pain and pleasure that began to mix within his increasingly abused tailhole. Every thrust from Velgaros felt deliberate, driven with a force designed to dominate and subdue, reiteration of the lesson Velgaros aimed to impart: that no other feeling, not even pleasure, should ever outweigh duty.

The weight of the chastity cage became more pronounced as the rhythm between the two dragons intensified. Makaidos's member, confined within the cold metal, felt the pulsing intensity of his arousal. It thrummed and throbbed, aching for release. Where once his member would have freely bloomed with arousal, the chastity cage denied him that liberty. The cold, unyielding metal pressed against his heated flesh, chilling his folds, trapping his fluids, blocking his cock. And it...also squelched, as if the cage itself was mocking him, laughing at his predicament.

Between the powerful thrusts, Velgaros's, like grinding stone, echoed a lecture about obedience. A lesson carved into the very rhythm of their coupling. Every word a reminder of Velgaros's dominion over Makaidos, every aggressive movement an assertion of that power. As Velgaros's flared ridges intensified the sensation from pleasure to pain now that the dragon ascended ever closer to his inevitable peak, Makaidos found himself sinking further into submission, a posture so yielding it began to stoke the fires of Velgaros's arousal even more.

For the black dragon, it wasn't merely the physical act, but the mental capitulation of Makaidos that stirred him the most A raw, visceral reaction that he found both disturbing and undeniably enticing. The very thought made the fiery glow in his crimson eyes deepen.

In a burst of frustration, Velgaros smashed Makaidos's head into the ground, his powerful grip around the blue dragon's snout, as he attempted to silence the pleasure-filled whimpers that threatened to push him over the edge. His tail, usually a symbol of his strength and power, twitched and coiled.

"Rrrfff...." He snarled back with fiery pleasure as fluids dribbled from both maw, vent, and tailhole. Stuffed to the brim by the black dragon's cock, Makaidos could feel the pulsing throbs that wracked its frame apart, each one resonating with his aching prostate as well as the unmet desire symbolized by his trapped state.

"You...filthy weakling..." a snarl came from above. "Remember this. Remember it...rawwwwghhhhh!"

With one final thrust, a force that sent droplets of pre flying all around as he smashed himself all the way inside his victim, Velgaros succumbed to his bliss. His body tensed, quivering from head to tail as the first powerful spurt of seed bloated his member even further, spreading Makaidos more than ever.

Trapped, taken, and now, filled like a female, Makaidos felt it all: the warmth spreading within him, the pressure welling inside his own prostate...and the throbs of his own trapped cock, demanding release.

Even if he started spending himself, Velgaros continued to work himself in and out of the flooded passage he so eagerly claimed. The relentless rhythm, combined with the mounting warmth and the weight of Velgaros's dominance, made the claimed dragon underneath moan, a sound filled with both pain and ecstasy. He would've finished too...joining the euphoria set by those mesmerizing growls and everything that followed...but the chastity cage's relentless grip denied Makaidos the climax he desperately sought.

Thrust after thrust, spurt after spurt, Velgaros marked him in a more intimate way than anything ever could. By the eighth lance of seed spearing through his insides, Makaidos felt gripped by a most peculiar fulfillment, his insides coated thickly in the cum of an alpha dragon, a sensation both foreign, yet intimate in its own right.

With a final grunt, Velgaros removed his grip and dismounted, his breath coming out in ragged puffs. He wobbled on his way to the front of his prey, then leaned his snout close, the heat of his breath brushing Makaidos's ear as he whispered a stern reminder. This was not for pleasure; it was a lesson. And should Makaidos forget his place again, Velgaros promised even harsher methods of 'education'.

Left tied to his overflowing vent, the chastity cage's oppressive weight throbbed with a cruel reminder of Makaidos's denied release. Combined with the abundance of Velgaros's seed within him, a potent cocktail of frustration, submission, and anticipation burned within his writhing form.

"Hrrhh..." Velgaros bared his fangs as his snout ventured down his prey's body. "I smell your need...your...seed! What have I said about pleasure, Craven? It was not yours to have!"

With a sudden movement, his powerful talons gripped the straps of the chastity cage that encircled Makaidos's vulnerable underbelly. The black dragon's eyes gleamed with a cold, malicious intent as he prepared to strip away the last vestiges of Makaidos's protections. With a snarl, Velgaros tore at the straps with brute force, the sound of leather and metal buckles snapping vibrating through the desolate castle ruins.

Makaidos's body jerked in response, the shock and pain of the straps being ripped from his flesh sending tremors through his already battered form. Some of pain, others...of pleasure. Once the cage gave way, the sudden freedom crashed into him like the release of a frothing river of heat, comfort, and bliss. This rush of sensation swelled within Makaidos, amplifying with an intensity he hadn't felt in what seemed like eons. He throbbed. He clenched. He...squirted!

Previously, the tight confinement of the chastity cage had suppressed and muted his senses, but now, every nerve ending seemed to come alive with the intense throbs of hot blood rushing into his penis, tingling and burning with an overpowering fervor.

"Mrhhhaawwwwr!!!" He moaned and clawed at the air, flapping wings, thrusting hard into a partner he could not penetrate as the pressure once applied by the cage gave way to nothingness.

Pre-seed rushed out in cloudy drops, signaling the impending avalanche. Curling his toes, Makaidos curled around himself and whined, for his member, which had been dormant under the oppressive cage, now throbbed with life, pulsing in a rhythm that mirrored his frenetic heartbeat. Every pulse seemed to heighten the wonderful stimulation, turning every ounce of pain and mystery into something far hotter.

Makaidos's cerulean eyes, wide and clouded with arousal, watched as his member, driven by the rawness of the moment, started to spurt seed. The force of each release pelted his body, creating a rhythmic sound that mingled with the erratic beating of his heart. It was as if his body was trying to compensate for the time he had been denied, every spurt, an answer to the pent-up pressure that welled inside him. Tendrils of pleasure spiraled through his body, forcing him to curl around himself even tighter in a protective cocoon of moans and shuddering limbs. The mess splattered over his scaled limbs, chest, and the ground beneath him, the warm stickiness a stark contrast to the cold stone he lay upon.

Velgaros, watching the display with a mix of satisfaction and disdain, let out a low chuckle. The sight of Makaidos, lost in his ecstasy, only solidified the black dragon's sense of triumph. He had not only subdued the sapphire dragon physically, but had also shattered the walls around his pride.

"Weak. Weak and pathetic." He hissed, his own member dangling underneath his body, spending its last.

With the tremors that brought him so much bliss subsiding, Makaidos's breathing grew ragged. Exhaustion started to set in, along with a blend of fear. Fear aimed at the dragon that resumed circling him with the same predatory look he came to know so well. For all the discomfort and humiliation the cage had brought upon him, Makaidos found himself strangely bereft without it, as if a part of his identity had been cruelly torn away along with the straps. He shuddered, his heart pounding in his chest as he tried to comprehend the strange mix of relief and loss that now belonged to him.

Velgaros's nostrils flared with disgust as the scents that had been trapped beneath the chastity cage were released into the air. The intense mix of urine, arousal, semen and fear assaulted his sensitive senses, making his eyes narrow and his face contort in revulsion.

"How filthy you are, wallowing in the produce of your cowardice. Your kin have burned and bled the humans, yet, here you are, coated in fluids even a worthless wolf can produce."

The black dragon's wings shuddered involuntarily, as if trying to dispel the foul odors that now permeated the air around them. His once-menacing gaze flicked to the soiled cage on the ground, a look of repugnance crossing his menacing features.

With a snort of contempt, Velgaros attempted to rid himself of the stench by exhaling forcefully through his nostrils. Yet, the unpleasant smells clung to him like an unrelenting reminder of the degradation that Makaidos had brought upon himself.

"You really held nothing back, did you?" he sneered.

Velgaros's powerful tail twitched with agitation, the tip of it lashing out to strike the now empty cage. The sudden motion sent the filthy contraption skittering across the charred ground, as if to distance itself from the source of the vile smells. "No wonder you flew back to us instead of fulfilling your life's calling. Graahhh, what a pathetic sight. A waste of seed, you are."

"I...have learned my lesson." Makaidos stammered.

Yet the black dragon's voice rumbled with barely-contained anger, the words hissing through his clenched teeth like steam escaping from a volcano.

"See that you have...you worthless disgrace."

With nothing more to say or inflict, the black dragon swiftly departed, the sound of his wings slowly disappearing into the night.

Makaidos still remained there, unblinking, unmoving. Free, yet, trapped. Though the chastity cage was now gone, the memory of its presence and the seed still dripping from his tailhole served as a tangible reminder of the choices he made.

"I have learned my lesson. I have learned my lesson." He repeated a few more times before he rolled on his back to stare at the sky, wondering what sort of fate befell his companions. Though his tailhole ached and his body still shuddered with fright, he considered himself lucky, for many of the dragons he flew with would not return home.

He was Craven, yes, but at least, filled as he happened to be with the seed of a stronger dragon, survived this trying night.
