Chapter Twenty One
Chapter Twenty One of Twenty Two
Lilith woke earlier than normal the next day to Brogdrin strong arming her into his body. She must have moved too far away in her sleep. Smiling before her eyes even opened, it was a wonderful way to wake up. He had changed back to his human form after their eventful night together. Pressed into his bare chest tightly she decided not to open her eyes yet and just enjoy the sound of his heart beat. He was still asleep. Easy to tell from the slowness of the beat.
She ran her hand up his torso to the pendant around his neck. The cool metal of the paw print chilled her fingers as she toyed with it. He wore it every day since she had given it to him. A familiar token that kept her calm when things went out of line. Brogdrin's arm tightened around her middle and she heard his heart beat pick up a small amount. He was awakening.
Lilith laid back into his other arm and opened her eyes to watch him wake. His pendant still in her hand. He cleared his throat then his eyes opened and found hers. She gazed to him, watching the silver flecks sparkle in his iris. Then he smiled. That awe-inspiring smile that could bring her back from the brink of death.
“Good morning Little Flower. How did you sleep?"
“Great Master. I always sleep well beside you."
He glanced down to her holding his pendant and let out a chuckle.
“You are going to rub the paw right off this thing if you keep this up."
“That takes years Master."
His eyes moved to hers again and he said.
“You've played with it since you gave it to me. Now, if you times that by how long we are going to be together, this pendant will soon be nothing but a chain."
Lilith smiled and giggled. Releasing his paw print.
“We will be together long enough to erode metal?"
Brogdrin chuckled as he leaned in to kiss her nose.
“Won't know unless we try."
She laughed again cuddling into his body fully.
“I'd like to try."
“So would I."
His hand ran down the length of her back coming to rest just above her tailbone.
“And the fact that I get to try with you makes it that much better."
Pressing her face into his chest she could not control her huge smile. His hand pulled her hips into his and she felt his member slip between her folds. He was already excited. She lifted her head to look to him and watched his wicked smile appear.
“My dreams echoed of our night together. Shall we dance once more before our day starts?"
Lilith nodded eagerly reaching down between them to stroke what little of his cock showed outside of her folds.
“Yes of course Master. I have one condition."
He chuckled and rolled atop her body. Pinning her down beneath him.
“I'll allow it. What is your condition?"
She smiled up him wrapping her legs around his body.
“Cover me in your cum again Master. I'll have to bathe again but that means I get to use my bath salts! You know how much I like them. And it seems I like being covered by you a lot more than I thought."
He growled and leaned in to kiss her roughly. Obviously pleased with her.
“Good girl."
><
Lilith woke after a nap both she and Brogdrin enjoyed after their eventful early morning together. Brogdrin getting out of bed snapped her out of her slumber she instantly sat up and tried to focus her eyes to him.
“Master?"
“Can't slip away from you for nothing, can I Little Flower?"
He purred turning back to look down at her. A playful smile on his face.
“I have some things to tend to early this morning. For the good of our home."
Lilith struggled so hard to focus on him. Her brain just wouldn't work right.
“Duties?"
She croaked out. Brogdrin laughed at her as he pulled his trousers on.
“You weren't supposed to wake up. It's a surprise. Lay back down."
Shaking her head she moved to his side of the bed and stepped down to the floor. Hoping standing would help her wake up faster.
“A surprise? It's not a holiday? Did I forget?"
“Lilly…lay bac-"
“Oh it must be a demon holiday."
Lilith's brain finally snapped into gear and she looked up to him.
“I don't know many of them after all."
He slipped his thumb into his belt loop and furrowed his brows towards her. An almost displeased looked. Lilith let out a squeak and then turned and jumped back into bed to lay down. Burrowing under the blankets she heard him chuckle softly.
“That's better, thank you. It's not a holiday it's just a surprise. I've been doing some thinking and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at what I have planned today."
Poking her head out of the blankets she watched him pull one of his white button up shirts on.
“Should I come with you?"
“No, it is early still. Stay here and just come to breakfast like you always do."
Brogdrin came over and ran his fingers through her hair just behind her ear.
“You weren't supposed to wake up."
Lilith smiled as his fingers traced her jaw line and cheek.
“I felt you leave Master. I hate that feeling."
“So do I."
He mused softly. Lilith gazed up at him as he gently caressed her. He seemed different this morning. His voice smooth and soft. Eyes locked to her. Like he was looking at her for the first time again.
“Are you alright Master?"
“Yes Little Flower. I am perfect. Enjoy your little nap without me. Do not get used to having this big bed all to yourself. This won't happen again."
She kissed his hand and let out a laugh.
“I won't sir. I couldn't. It's kind of exciting."
“Exciting?"
“Yes."
Lilith sat up and pushed the blanket away from her naked body. Watching his eyes trail up her skin she laid back into his pillows. Showing off her own figure to him proudly.
“I will sleep comfortably where man and beast fear to even speak about. Brogdrin the Great's personal bedroom."
Such a sinful smile broke out across his face as an equally wicked growl snapped out of his body. It made her heart skip a beat as she easily maintained eye contact with him. Trying to show off her fierce side. Reaching to her Brogdrin cupped her chin and said.
“We will have grand adventures together Little Flower. I do hope you are ready for this."
Lilith nodded without hesitation in his hand. Proud of her confidence.
“Yes Master."
><
Few hours later Lilith awoke again. Much easier this time. She hopped out of bed and stretched. Feeling a slight ping of soreness she smiled and let her arms fall to her sides. She had survived a night with a pure demon. An ancient demon at that. Something apparently no human does comfortably. Not something she thought she would ever be proud of herself for but she was proud either way.
She washed up, changed to her worker clothes, grabbed her bag, and then headed to breakfast as usual. It was oddly quiet in the room without Brogdrin. She hurried to leave such a strange feeling behind.
Finding Aspen along her way with Bronco trailing along she smiled and hurried to catch up.
“Morning Aspen."
“Morning Lil."
Aspen replied with a smile.
“Do you know what's going on?"
Lilith gave her a confused look and shook her head.
“With what?"
“The dining hall doors won't open."
Aspen nodded down the hall as she continued.
“Even Roma is out here. How did Master get her out of the kitchen?"
“That is a good question."
Poppy came over with a worried look on her face.
“Do you know anything Lilly? Are we okay?"
“I don't know anything but I do know we are all okay."
Lilith held Poppy's hand and gave her a smile.
“It's Master. Come on, you know him better than me."
“Those doors have never been closed."
Poppy turned back to look at the large wooden doors.
“I didn't even think they could."
A few tense moments later Brogdrin appeared just outside the large door. He was instantly swarmed with questions and shouts. He simply held his hands up and the hall went silent.
“An unusual to start our day I know. All I ask is you all file in nicely and stand in the painted squares."
The giant door opened behind him and Olga appeared with Rayne.
“Please."
No one moved for a few seconds. Not even Bronco. Poppy was the first. She hiked up her pants and marched right on through. Brogdrin chuckled watching her.
“You've been with me too long Poppy."
“Not long enough Master!"
She called. Soon everyone started filtering in. Girls who had just awoken came in confused and anxious. Lilith stayed near Aspen as they found Poppy again. The dining hall tables had all been moved away somewhere and three large white squares were laid out on the floor. A long running table filled with bags sat beside the far square. Lilith was starting to grow more confused by the second. She knew it was nothing bad but just confused. Brogdrin stood with Olga and Rayne just in front of the squares talking softly. He seemed relaxed by his body language. Lilith had watched him for a while now and could almost read him from across the castle.
All three hundred and twenty four girls filled the dining hall within minutes. Lilith had never seen them all in one place before. It was awe inspiriting how many lives Brogdrin had actually saved. How many “slaves" he had actually freed. She was impressed.
“Good morning."
Brogdrin spoke out silencing the entire hall. His eyes danced across the sea of faces and landed on hers of course. She gave him a small smile as he started speaking again.
“I know some of you are worried but this is nothing bad I promise."
The doors opened and Luca came in suddenly. Now Lilith was starting to worry. Why would Luca be here for this?
“Sorry."
He murmured coming to his son's side. Brogdrin growled at him then turned back to the crowd.
“I have a question to ask every single one of you. This is the only time I will ever ask this question so don't think this will ever happen again. Below you are three squares. The far left square with the table, middle, and to my right. Now here is my question."
Lilith could feel the air pressure change from the amount of breath taken in as he paused.
“Do you wish to stay in this castle or do you wish to return to the human world a free woman?"
Lilith gasped and Aspen gripped up her arm so tight it cut off the blood.
“Aspen!"
“Sorry."
“If you wish to leave I will not hold it against you, I will not hunt you, I will not bother you, and you will never see me or this place again."
Brogdrin spoke up over the chatter of voices.
“If you wish to stay you will continue your life like it is now. Or."
He pointed down to the middle square and said.
“You can go to Ballgrouf and become a subject of *BLANK* Castle. Soon to be developed."
Lilith looked right to Aspen who met her eyes right back.
“I'm not leaving."
“Me either."
Aspen replied shaking her head.
“I'd have to leave you and Bronco. No way. I'm staying."
“But this is your chance Aspen. You said you wanted this."
Aspen held Lilith's hand tightly and shook her head again.
“That was before I found my sister. This is my family and I am not leaving."
Lilith's eyes welled with tears and she turned to hug Aspen tightly.
“I love you so much Aspen. You mean so much to me."
“Let me in there!"
Layla came over and nudged her way into their hug.
“You guys are the best and I am never leaving either."
“Oh thank goodness."
Lilith sighed out.
“I'd cry for years if you left."
“Never."
Layla smiled cuddling up into them. Lilith was over the moon happy that her closest sisters were staying. Slowly the crowds parted and moved amongst each other. Making a life choice before breakfast. Lilith would never say living here was dull.
She watched Brogdrin and Luca at the head of the squares. They talked with each other and looked calm and collected. Rayne on the other hand looked less than pleased. Her angry eyes scanning the room watching those who wanted to leave file in line.
Fifteen minutes went by and soon every girl had made their choice. Twenty six girls stood in the left most square. Some wiping their eyes with happy smiles, others hugging those would were staying good bye. It was such a mix of emotions felt throughout the room. Happy. Sad. Excited. Scared. Everything. Lilith was confident in her choice and stood proudly with Aspen and Layla at her sides. Poppy stood a few feet away. One of the first ones to pick to stay.
As the room settled all eyes were on Brogdrin. He stepped away from his father and spoke up to them.
“I know these choices were not made easy but as all of you know my rules are as hard as iron. If this is what you choose this is forever."
Everyone was silent again. Just accepting their fate and choice.
Olga came to Brogdrin's side and started writing down names as he spoke.
“The bags on the table are enough food, water, and money to get you anywhere you want. You will be transported out and away from here and never return."
He turned to the middle square.
“You will go to Ballgrouf and turn it into a wonderful castle for more subjects to join and prosper. Teach those boys over there how to keep my castle clean."
He smiled sweetly to them.
“And enjoy your lives there but remember you are still mine and will remain mine until I see fit. Understood?"
The square chanted a yes and then he turned to Lilith's square.
“My most loyal…not to brag."
Giggles filled the room and Lilith smiled to him. He was so sweet to them. Even now.
“You will remain with me here forever. I am glad you have picked me. Now."
He turned to Olga and took her lists.
“Since I am sending a mass of women over to an all-male castle, Olga is going with you to keep you all safe until the “rouges" are dealt with. No fear girls. You still won't be harmed. However."
Brogdrin came over and stood before the mass of women and looked right to Poppy.
“That means I will need someone to replace Olga here and I have an idea for the most perfect person."
“NO!"
Poppy nearly screeched and clapped her hands to her cheeks.
“ME?!"
Brogdrin smiled to her and held out his hand.
“Yes you. You have remained loyal to me for centuries. Who better to help me train my new girls than my first girl?"
Poppy burst into tears and ran up to Brogdrin. She nearly knocked him over as she hugged him so tightly. Just sobbing into his robes she was a mess. Lilith's heart just swelled with joy. She was so proud of Poppy and so proud of Brogdrin. With his new found soul, his sweetness was unmatched.
“I will make you proud Master. I promise!"
Poppy pulled away and wiped her face off on her shirt.
“It will be like Olga never left. I'll learn everything and do anything and-."
“I know you will."
He cut in giving her shoulder a few loving pats.
“Relax now. I trust in you. Go with Duchess Rayne and she will show you the ropes."
Poppy nodded and went to stand with Rayne who looked even more angry. Lilith brushed her off and focused back on Brogdrin.
“Alright, with that settled we can move on. If everyone has made their choice we can start."
He went back over to the front and turned his attention to the ones who were leaving.
“I will miss all of you. Regardless of what you think of me. I hope that life is kind to you."
With a wave of his hand they all disappeared within a blink of an eye. Some gasped others broke out into tears for lost sisters. Lilith just felt wonderful. Almost at peace. Like everything was finally falling into place around her. Finally she was a piece of a puzzle. Not an outcast.
><
Breakfast was a little late that day so everyone just went to lunch. The hall seemed emptier but at the same time full of life. Every single worker here had now chose to stay. Loyal to their ends and Lilith was so proud of all of them.
After lunch she was off to her library. Ready to get back to her own normal after such an exciting morning. Pushing open the doors she was greeted with that familiar smell of books and knowledge.
“There you are."
Brogdrin sat at his usual table surprising her. Figuring he would be busy with his father, she had expected to be alone.
“Sir?"
“I was wondering when you would get here."
He set his book down and stood up as Lilith closed the doors behind her.
“Everything alright sir? I thought you would be off with Luca."
“He's handling the change of Ballgrouf."
Brogdrin came over and gave her a smile.
“I didn't want to leave your side for that long. But I digress, I came to check-in with you. Are you alright from this morning?"
“Yes Master."
She sighed out her words. Grateful for his compassion.
“It's okay. They chose to leave and we chose to stay. I'll focus on the ones who stayed and my duties Master. Everything I like to do."
“I am glad."
“Was there anything else sir?"
“No."
He pecked her cheek then went back to his table.
“I am here for company as usual. I will not bother you during duties."
“You have before Master."
Lilith said smartly. Sitting with a thump he growled over to her.
“Yes. It's the look in your eyes that determines if I attack you or not."
His voice held a playful sneering tone. She caught his eye as he said.
“I picture that cute little face you make when you cum. Adorable Little Flower."
She ducked quickly towards her log book. Cheeks ablaze.
“Master…"
“The eyes half open, mouth slightly parted, just a mess."
He continued staring over at her.
“I know it well. Get to work before I change my mind."
“Yes sir…"
><
Brogdrin stayed for his usual hour or so then ventured out to actually do his duties. Aspen would show up twenty minutes before lunch so she could say hi and talk Lilith's ear off.
“So what I've hear is twenty six of us left for the human world. Those bags had enough gold and jewels to buy their own castles."
Aspen went over the events so smoothly. Like a normal reaction to something like this happening. Lilith wasn't upset or anything about it she was just surprised at Aspen's take on all this. She had figured, that would have been the last morning ever spent with Aspen after Brogdrin offered freedom.
“And exactly half of us are being sent over to Ballgrouf. Roma stays though. That was Poppy's…oh I mean…Madam's first order."
“That's going to take some getting used to."
Lilith laughed shaking her head.
Aspen helped her put some books away chatting.
“So you're day is coming soon."
“My day?"
Lilith hopped up onto her stool and took a few books from her. Aspen smiled up at her locking her hands behind her back.
“You and your boo's day together. Make the kissy face and all that for me Lil. You deserve it."
Lilith wanted to jump off the damn stool and rock her head open on the stone floor. Her face felt like lava had poured out of her eyes and ran down her cheeks.
“Aspen."
“Oh what?"
She teased.
“I like making you all flustered and angry about him. It's funny and cute. I can't understand how you two work but that's not for me to decide."
“You could be the nice sister and just silently be happy for me."
“Silently? Me? You lost your mind woman. The moment I am allowed, and I mean the very split second, that I can tell anyone in this castle I will tell everyone everything. Your story is going to reach far and I will make sure of it."
Lilith came down off the stool surprised by Aspen. Putting her hands on her hips she asked.
“Why did you really stay?"
“For this. For family. I like it here, and I know what I said before but faced with the real question I found myself flooding back with all the bad memoires of that world. All the hurt and the pain and the sadness. I didn't want to go back to that. I want to be here, I want to be happy, and I want my family."
Aspen voice held a tone Lilith had never heard from her before. Strong and sure of every word that came out. Speaking from the heart.
“I've been here for over seventy years and I wouldn't trade any of them for one year in the human world from my old life. I'm staying, and I'm staying with you. Promise me Lilith. Promise me I won't ever have to be alone again?"
Coming over to her side quickly to show she cared, she grabbed her hands.
“I promise Aspen. Neither of us will ever be alone again. Ever. If one of us goes somewhere the other comes. No matter what."
“No matter what."
Aspen copied with a nod. Lilith smiled suddenly and hugged her.
“I always wanted a sister…"
Aspen hugged her tight sighing deeply.
“Me too…my brother was an asshole."
“So was mine."
Lilith murmured. Aspen let out a giggle and squeezed her tightly.
“Alright. Enough of this, we have work to do."
Lilith wiped her eyes of a few tears then went back up the stool. Aspen turned and let out a laugh.
“I can see why people drink now. Life…it's so fun."
“Strange but fun."
><
Dinner time was oddly quiet that night. The usual hundred or so girls cut to half really had made a difference in the halls. Lilith sat with Brogdrin and Aspen that night. He was busy receiving thanks from his workers on giving them the opportunity to leave. Lilith was ready to curl away with him tonight. With everything going on she had barely seen him all day, and when she did he was with Rayne and Poppy or Luca.
Their anniversary was coming soon and she was starting to wonder if he even wanted to do anything for it. A single year in demon time is not a very long time at all. Maybe he would find it “childish" or “human" if she wanted to celebrate it at all.
He had made no mention of anything along the subject and she was too afraid to bring it up but today with Aspen here, she was ready. They had come up with a plan today to try and work an answer out of Brogdrin without him knowing.
“So Lil."
Aspen made direct eye contact with her and said right next to Brogdrin.
“Baxter and Poppy are going to have their one year anniversary together next year. We should maybe make something for a congratulations because it's such a big deal and all."
Lilith nodded and leaned forwards to see her better.
“Oh is it?"
“Yeah, she'd be super upset if she didn't get anything for her one year. They always says it's the 1st year that counts as much as the last."
“Who says that?"
Layla came over suddenly with a confused look.
“And why are you talking so loud about Poppy's anniversary. Do you know something?"
“No wait."
“I bet the both of you do. Sly devil's. You know keeping secrets is a rule here. Better be lucky Master isn't paying attention."
“Oh don't you worry Layla."
Brogdrin's fierce eyes pinned to Lilith's suddenly and a growl left him.
“I've been listening. I think it is getting late and I would like to retire. You all are young and spry. Enjoy the night."
Lilith fought her eyes away from his. Her plan maybe not going as smooth as she thought.
“We will Master. Thank you so much."
“You're all welcome."
Brogdrin left soon after. Obviously ignoring their plan. Aspen turned to Lilith.
“Smooth…."
“ME!?"
“The both of you really."
Layla added with a shrug. Lilith threw her hands up and turned away from them.
><
That night Lilith crawled into Brogdrin's bath to relax for a while. It was been a day and with everything changing, stressful as well. Finishing off her lavender bath salts she sighed and looked out the window at the clear night sky.
Thoughts drifting to what her lost sisters were doing on their first night out. Drinking? Men? Women? What adventures did they have in store.
Then she thought of her own adventures. Once he was okay with calling them a couple she would be known as the woman who claimed Brogdrin the Great. Lilith the Fierce. That name now so fitting it seemed it was meant for her from birth. It fit her like a glove and she was ready and willing to fight for the honor that name held.
A human being sick and twisted enough to fall in love with the demon of revenge himself turned her own soul darker. A mark that she shared with a demon now. Tainted forever by this dark energy it made her stronger as well. No longer fully human and unable to enter those golden gates in the sky, Lilith had left her own race behind and was slowly making the full transfer to demon. Lilith the Fierce has been born and she is slowly become the second most feared being in this world.
Opening her eyes as the door creaked open in front of her. Brogdrin appeared within a few minutes and she smiled over to him as the door opened.
“Hello Little Flower. Are you almost done in there?"
“Yes sir. I was out playing in the dirt today so I wanted to make sure everything was clean."
He nodded and came into the bathroom slowly.
“Is everything alright?"
“Yes Master."
Lilith said with a calm sigh.
“Lots of changes recently. Please forgive me if I'm acting odd. Please tell me if I do sir."
“You are not. I am..."
He shook his head and came right up to her. Dipping his fingers into her wet hair he gently pulled her head back to kiss her.
“I feel strangely towards you."
“Strange?"
Panic almost shook her voice but she cleared it at the last second. Moving to sit up in the tub she stared at him.
“What's wrong? Did I do something wrong? Did Aspen do something? Poppy? If it's the painting sir I can calm down for a while. I know I've been painting almost every day now and it's annoying."
“Lilly calm down."
He said just as gently as he always did. With a smile on his face.
“It is a good feeling. With my soul I am able to gain power and do things normal beings can't yes but I want to tell you something."
He knelt down beside the tub and Lilith moved in close to him.
“I know some will be worried I'll turn and destroy the world and put the demons in charge of everything. Bring a new dark age to the world but they forget…I am a part of this world and so are you. Do you know the best feeling I have ever felt since I got my soul? The feeling I would rip apart galaxies to feel it just for a second?"
Lilith shook her head just staring right at him. Unable to look away, she felt a sudden chill in the bath tub.
“The sound my heart makes whenever I am close to you, Little Flower. That beautiful singing sound that is ever so soft and sweet."
Her eyes welled with tears as she folded her hands under her chin.
“Really?!"
“Yes. If this is what you humans call love I can see why men throw armies at walls they know cannot fall. Why a buck fights a pack of wolves so the doe can get away. Why I would give my full conscious being up if it meant you would continue to live for one more day."
“Conscious being?"
Lilith's face fell to confusion but Brogdrin just chuckled.
“My life. If this is what humans call love I can see why they fight so hard for so little. It's you Little Flower. You are the one thing above all else for me and I'd like everyone to know it."
Falling further Lilith couldn't seem to say anything. Watching him stand up beside the tub she could barely take any more of this.
“I will see you in the bedroom. I wish to speak with you about some things."
With that he left the bathroom. Lilith nearly slipped back under the water as she struggled to get out of the tub in a slight panic. Drying quickly she hopped into the bedroom area near his dresser.
Brogdrin lounged in bed dressed in his shorts. A book in hand. Lazy eyes rose to meet hers as she finished drying on the carpet.
“What Master?"
“Clothes Little Flower…"
Lilith groaned but moved quickly to her side of the bed. Never before had she dressed in her gown so fast. It was like liquid over her body. Finally coming to land at the end of his bed she sat and asked.
“Now?"
“Lilly."
Brogdrin closed his book and smiled to her.
“You act like every time I say we need to talk I'm going to break up with you. Would I say all these sweet things to you if I wanted that? Why waste the effort, right? You know me. Would I do that?"
“No sir…"
Lilith turned and leaned back against the foot board of the bed.
“Alright, then what is the thing you wanted to talk about?"
“I want to be with you for a long time Lilly and I want to be open and honest with what I want so we can move forwards towards what I think we both want. At least together."
Lilith nodded and crossed her legs under her. Focused on his words.
“Where I want my life to head from here is; to get a life mate of my own and rule over my castle for a millennia or until time changes so harshly we cannot. Forever unless we are forced out. Go off and do my duties when called but my home life is kept separate from my work life. Enjoy being Brogdrin the Great with a soul for a while."
Lilith let out a soft laugh but nodded her head up and down.
“Alright that sounds fun. Sounds like you for sure."
“What do you want?"
“I want to be with y.-"
Brogdrin grunted stopping her words.
“I know that, I adore that is the first thing you answer with but that is not what I mean. Beyond me. You notice I didn't include you in my process."
“Oh I see. Well, I'd like to become a really good witch and warrior. Live up to my name. Lilith the Fierce. I want it to be known throughout books like yours is Master. Inspiring red hair-green eyed beauty. Minerva says she can teach me to fight off trolls! Anyways, if I'm being honest Master I want to go on adventures and who better to have adventures with than the demon of lust and revenge. Crazy parties following that one around sir. Not for the weak I am sure."
Brogdrin chuckled and moved to hold her hand.
“You want to have adventures with me?"
“Yes sir and still care for my library. I love that place almost as much as I love you."
“That's a lot. So you would want to stay here anyways. Regardless?"
“Yes. That's why I picked to stay anyways. I'd want to be here even if nothing ever changed. Ever."
“Good answer. Are you ready for your surprise?"
“Surprise? Master, please I am very confused."
Brogdrin climbed out of bed and brought over a small rectangle box to her.
“Your surprise. I think you will be quite pleased."
Lilith sat at the edge of the bed and opened the box. Inside was the softest lightest fabric she had ever felt in her entire life but it looked like cotton. It was almost like it melted through her skin but it was so hard she couldn't rip off a piece.
“This is Siliven. I made this for you. It is an indestructible and an inconceivably strong metal that can take any shape you chose just think it."
Holding it in her hand it turned into chain links like her other necklace. Smiling and jumping slightly she looked up to Brogdrin.
“That's awesome! What is it for?"
“To protect you."
He took the chain from her now and the necklace she had from before. Taking in a deep breath he looked to her and started.
“It forms an invisible extra skin around you. So you can never burn to death, fall and get hurt, get shot, trampled, hung. Nothing. Then I mixed a bit of woodland magic in to protect you from hexes and those nasty woodland curses. Another spell to protect you from mind control. Another for if they decide to send you to the middle of the ocean that makes you breathe under water for sixty years. I should find you before that one wears off. Lava and magma mean nothing to you neither does being stabbed or sliced open. No bumps, bangs, or nagging shoulder pain. Stubbed your toe? More like now the couch has a hole in it. No bug bites, no aging, nothing. You are my beautiful Little Flower and now almost invincible."
He took her hand in his and bowed his head to her.
“I am almost unworthy to stand before you."
Lilith blushed fiercely and just fell into bed hiding her face away. This was too much. He laughed and took everything from her to set it up. Moving the pendant from her old chain to the new one he whispered a few last minute spell words in then turned and held it out to her.
“Come to me Little Flower."
She instantly got up and knelt before him. Ready to accept her gift.
“With this I am putting trust into you I have not put into anyone for a very long time. You understand where my pain is and I am allowing you to venture in to see why it hurts so bad."
Lilith nodded gazing up at the chain.
“I know. I am ready to carry your burden."
He clasped the chain behind her neck then dragged his hands down her shoulders.
“There is one thing left now. Pass my test and I will lock this necklace to your soul forever. You will become a conscious being like me and we can become soul mates."
“Soul mates…."
Lilith mumbled falling under the spell of all this. She leaned into his body pushing him down into the pillows.
“Soul mates….I never thought….I'd ever find my soul mate. My father said there was no one for me because I was a no one."
“Your father was wrong. You are a someone. You are a someone to me."
“My dad's dead."
Lilith met Brogdrin's eyes and smiled to him.
“I killed him. Slit his fucking throat, just like my Master taught me."
Brogdrin growled playfully giving her a sly smile.
“Yeah? Must have looked like a bad ass doing it."
She nodded and pulled her sleeve up to show off her arm muscle.
“Damn right I did."
Brogdrin leaned in and pressed a kiss into her lips.
“Help me lock this necklace. Help me find my soul mate."
Lilith nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“I want to. I want that. I want you. Whatever I have to do to get this necklace locked I will do. I swear it. No, Master."
She pulled away and knelt up in bed next to him.
“Tell me what to do."
“Pass my test and I will lock it with ease."
“What's the test? I'll do anything, ANYTHING!"
Lilith hushed herself quickly and moved away from him. Settling herself she heard him grunt in confusion.
“I am sorry Master. Excitable and all. This is serious. I want you to understand that I understand what we are talking about right now. What is your test?"
“We teach you how to be a demon before I actually change you into one. You will pass fighting exams, magic classes, as well as other things a human usually is not aware of."
Brogdrin leaned over and pecked her cheek.
“I want you to live you dream of being Lilith the Fierce and to do so I will make you fierce. You pass my tests I'll change you and we can enter a life in our own personal heaven for an eternity. Does that sound like something you would want to do?"
“Yes very much Master. Anything with you."
“I know with me darling. I meant life. You must have had dreams of doing something as a child."
Brogdrin said with a chuckle. Lilith's smile dimmed a bit and she looked away from him suddenly. Taking in a soft breath she exhaled slowly.
“I…I uh used to wish to be dead….outside of that…no…I….I never had any dreams of my own I guess."
Brogdrin came over and cuddled her down into bed with him.
“I am sorry Little Flower."
“It's alright Master. I am really not upset by this."
She smiled and moved to hold his hand tightly.
“I know I want to be with you and that can be my dream right? Dreaming of being with someone who makes me want to be a someone. Yes, I like that. My dream is to be with you Master, because with you I can be Lilith the Fierce and I really-really like being Lilith the Fierce. You will train me well and I will become almost as dreaded as you. Apprentice to Brogdrin the Great. My dream is to be Lilith the Fierce."
Brogdrin growled and squeezed her hand.
“Yes I will help you. You will be unstoppable. I swear it to you by oath as a hell-spawn. You will become Lilith the Fierce. And we will have grand adventures together."
“Forever Master?"
He nodded his eyes sincere and just so certain.
“Forever. Just wait and see Little Flower. Forever is a very-very long time."
Lilith hugged him tightly and whispered.
“As long as I'm with you Master, time can do whatever it wants. I'm busy."
