Korriana ran a thumb over her staff, feeling the groves and notches where she had sprung so many traps in the past. It was daunting to consider how many times she had nearly died before she was wise enough to appreciate the idea. She had been doing this for the last hour.

She had been so ready to just get home and settle the whole mess, but she had lacked a plan, a method to get there, and the information she needed to act upon. She had no idea how far down the dungeon the dark wizard could have reached while she was gone. She didn't know if he had started or what kind of party he had assembled. She didn't even know if he'd be going along with the party, he could have just sold this information.

The wagon hit a hefty bump in the road that caused Korriana to drop her staff. The man sitting next to her stirred in his sleep. Korriana fumbled about in the evening light to retrieve her prized possession. She didn't know what she'd do if she ever lost it.

The wagon came to a stop. Voices from about and around started winding up as people gathered themselves and stepped out of the various vehicles in the caravan. Korriana was quick to check her few possessions and get out the back.

The Merchant's Guild Caravan was a concept alien to Korriana, but it was entertaining. It was like a little town on wheels. During the day people slept in covered wagons and similar moving homes, and at night they'd set up camp to join together in merrymaking.

The people were so varied that Korriana found her winged kobold form was welcome without a second thought. Even the adventurers didn't think she was unusual. One of them, a man in golden colored armor, maybe it was made out of gold, and shockingly golden long flowing hair, had paid her a number of compliments.

"Good evening madam," the armored man caught her eye as soon as Korriana had stepped out of the wagon, "Care to join me for dinner?"

Korriana looked up at the man. He towered over her in a righteous might that reminded her a bit of Thalthas. She wasn't sure why this man was so suddenly interested in her, but somehow she didn't quite mind it. He was strangely pleasant for a human.

She followed the man to a campfire, not the main one built by the guild, but one of the many separate fires built by private parties. They sat with three others. One was woman with violet hair and matching robes, with a large beaded necklace. The next was a wizard with a pointed hat, a large pipe, a heavy tome, and zero interest in Korriana. The last was a goblin, he was tinkering with a metal device the size of a sword that Korriana couldn't recognize.

"You brought your new concubine?" The violet woman laughed.

Korriana blushed.

The armored man laughed boisterously, "You know I only have eyes for you."

Korriana looked up at the man. She felt a small amount of disappointment. Why?

"I know you only married me for power," the woman nagged before waving her hand at Korriana, "You've always had your eyes for these..."

Her words were cut off by the armored man giving his bride a stern gaze, "We will never find the allies we need if you keep insulting everyone I chat with who happens to be a woman."

The violet woman sprung to her feet in an instant, "I-"

"Just fuck already," the wizard interrupted without looking away from his tome.

The married couple stood staring at their companion. Neither wore a face of embarrassment, despite their telling awkwardness. They then took a seat next to each other, inviting Korriana to occupy the ground next to the armored man. After a while of staring at the campfire and a bit of small talk about what they were going to eat, the armored man finally addressed Korriana.

"What puts you on this road, little wonder?"

Korriana looked up at the curious man. She tried to answer him straightly, but something stopped her. She then realized her first instinct would have been to blame the evil wizard who cursed her. That curse, however, was to never speak of him or his plan.

"I was banished from my home," she found herself saying.

The violet woman spoke softly, "That explains a lot."

The armored man looked at his wife quizzically, then returned his warm gaze to Korriana, "So where does the road lead?"

Korriana puzzled through the question, "Home, I hope."

The golden haired man smiled with friendly but concerned eyes. His wife put a loving hand on his pauldron with an equally concerned face. Korriana didn't know what to think, but decided not to pry.

The warrior spoke, "Do you need an ally in your quest?"

Korriana blushed. She couldn't believe the words, and yet he spoke so earnestly. Part of her wanted to accept, to see what this wizard would do if she brought a party of adventurers to challenge him. But she couldn't risk letting anyone else know where her village was hiding.

After much thought, Korriana returned with "I have to do this alone."

The golden man nodded solemnly. His face then twisted into suppressed laughter which burst into a short burst of jovial sound.

"I envy your plight," the warrior stated warmly.

Korriana really didn't know how to take this, so she broke down and asked, "What sort of plight do you have?"

The man sighed, judged her face and trained his gaze on the campfire, "My kingdom was taken from me. I need an army to take it back. For a hundred years I have sought allies. I am returning now with three companions to see if there is anything left to save."

Korriana looked again at the party. The goblin was had finished tinkering with the device and was busy examining several vials of liquids and powders he had portioned. The wizard was still reading and uninterested. The violet lady leaned in for a gentle embrace with her husband.

"Never forget your destination," the armored man stated, "Or you'll always be lost."

Korriana drew her knees into her chest and pondered her situation. She had been working at that inn for a long time. What if it was too late? What if the Wizard came and conquered her village already? She wrapped herself in her wings. What if Thalthas couldn't keep the peace without his High Sorcerer? What if she never found her way back? She fell into a fetal position. What if she died on her way back? What if Thalthas turned her away? What if...

Korriana realized she was starting to panic and shook herself out of it. The Wizard and goblin were still minding their own business, not even sparing her a glance. The armored man and his wife were missing. Had she been that stressed?

Taking a moment to breath, Korriana stepped away from the campfire. Her stomach felt empty and her wallet was still full. For a brief moment she felt guilty for stealing the money, but likely some food in her stomach would cure her of that.

The caravan was lively in the night with the troubadours entertaining, the merchants mingling, the adventurers merrymaking, and the cooks... Korriana found a man grilling mushrooms on a stick. Her mouth twisted into a grin as she remembered doing that as a hatchling. She traded a coin for the meal and continued to explore, eating as she did.

The people were bizarre and interesting, came in all colors, shapes, and sizes. One man was shorter than she was but wore a hat that towered over everyone, he was bragging about his magic. Another had arms as thick and barky as tree trunks, he was telling a tale about his latest adventure. One lady seemed to have four arms and a neck long enough to function as a fifth, she was dancing to the music showing off her emerald scales.

As Korriana walked between campfires, she heard something distant. It was the voice of her armored friend, she was sure, though she didn't hear what he said. He had wandered off into the woods. Korriana looked at the fun the caravan was having, and nearly decided to have a good time, but curiosity took her into the woods.

***

"I saw how you looked at her."

Korriana froze in the darkness, realizing that voice was the violet haired woman from before. Korriana didn't want to assume that she was talking about her, but the woman wasn't exactly fond of her.

"You've never had a problem with competition before."

This time Korriana was sure it was the armored man, but as she drew upon their location, she could see that he wasn't armored anymore. He had his wife pinned against a tree, nibbling at her neck and fingering her bosom. Both were exposed from the waist up, the man's rippling muscles causing Korriana to blush.

"That woman," the violet haired woman gasped as her husband teased her nipple, "Was my choosing."

Korriana started to creep away, but found it difficult to tear her eyes off them. The man was holding her down, while she remained dignified and poised. He continued to plant kisses on her neck trailing down to her breast, as his wife encouraged him to do so with a hand on the back of his head.

"Oh, Dawn..." she moaned, losing her composure for a moment before returning to her dominant expression.

Dawn bit down on her nipple, raking it with his teeth. Korriana watched the woman's eyebrows flutter, and wondered what that must feel like. She then pulled his head in further, forcing him to be more aggressive with his biting.

Dawn then slipped free and stood up to look down upon his woman. They stared deeply into each other's eyes for a brief moment. Korriana's own eyes grew wide as she watched. Dawn then kissed the violet haired woman, long and hard. His powerful chest pressed against hers, leaving her helpless to resist. She no longer held onto her false dominance, as she melted into his warm embrace.

"Vin," Dawn whispered into his wife's ear barely loud enough for Korriana to hear, "I want the real you."

Vin looked up at her husband, her face in a perverted grin, "Someone will see."

Korriana covered her snout to hide a gasp.

Dawn growled, "Let them."

The violet haired woman slipped past her husband, taking his hand to lead him deeper into the woods. Korriana took a moment to consider letting them go, but she had to know. Vin soon found a moonlit clearing, where she let her husband stand back. Korriana found herself a vantage point with the cover of a tree and shrub. Vin gave Dawn a wink before running her fingers up her bared chest and throwing them in the air.

A faint magical power filled the air for a brief second, and Vin the violet haired human had vanished out of existence, replaced by the slim muscular form of a violet scaled dragon. She had a long twisty neck, a dozen jagged horns, and royal blue soft scales on her inner neck and belly. Her wings were wiry yet elegant, and her tail was long and whippy. She craned her neck to Dawn, her back otherwise shown to him.

Korriana's mouth hung open. If this violet woman was actually a dragon...

With similar pulse of mana, Dawn was replaced by a powerful golden scaled dragon. His body was covered in scars, bulging muscle on his shoulders leading to terrifying claws. His neck broad ended in a snout covered in a beard of reptilian tendrils. His horns were heavy, shaped for ramming. His tail was stubby where it had been chopped off. And his wings were huge, powerful, and beautiful.

Korriana had to stop herself from drooling as she watched the powerful dragon slowly approach his mate. She felt a heat in her loins, as she watched them nuzzle. Dawn rubbed his snout against Vin's neck, nibbling at her. Vin whipped him with her tail in the flank, Dawn responding with a deep, rumbling growl that sent a shiver down Korriana's spine. As Dawn circled around his mate, Vin took several obvious glances at his emerging member.

Korriana's breath stopped as she saw it. It was impossible for her not to imagine herself where Vin was. She needed her dragon to take her. Not a thought crossed her mind, as she began to touch herself.

Dawn made it back around to Vin's flank, with a face full of lust. He blew a bit of hot air, causing Vin's body to react, her neck and tail shooting straight up. The moonlight reflected off her wetness, as Dawn licked his chops in anticipation.

Korriana idly licked her own chops, remembering the feeling of a hot dragon tongue inside her. She watched enviously, as Dawn gave Vin exactly what Korriana so desperately needed. Vin's moans masked those of Korriana, as she received the royal treatment. Korriana watched Dawn's dick grow to fully erect in a second, her own finger would have to do as a replacement.

Dawn broke away quickly, "No wonder you were so aggressive."

Vin panting didn't allow much a response.

"If we do this..." Dawn began.

"Breed me you idiot," Vin interrupted.

Dawn's eyes grew wide for a second, but his toothy grin returned quickly. In a swift motion, the powerful golden dragon mounted his elegant dragoness. For a brief moment, he nibbled her neck again, and whispered "I love you."

Vin blushed and looked away, his weight on her had pinned her chest to the ground, so there wasn't much she could do hide her face.

Korriana watched, furiously teasing her own entrance, as Dawn lined himself up to his mate's. He rubbed himself up against her, missing his mark on purpose by the look on his face. He then thrust again, prodding her shallowly, just enough to make her hind legs quiver. He then reared back, lifting his stubby tail as if to give Korriana a better view, and glided himself in with practiced elegance. Vin cried out as she was penetrated.

Dawn snorted into her ear, blowing smoke over her, as he pounded into her. The ground shook with his thrusts, Vin's moans twisting with each. Korriana fingered herself in time with his thrusts, her eyes trained on the beautiful golden beast.

Dawn pulled out suddenly to grab Vin by the shoulder and effortlessly roll her onto her back. He was back into her in seconds, this time his thrusts faster and more powerful. He assaulted her neck with more kisses, trailing up to her snout. He stared into her eyes as he took her front claws in his, pinning her down by them.

Korriana was close, but Vin orgasmed first. Her hind legs shaking uncontrollably, as she wrapped them around her mate. Dawn continued unfazed, his pace quickening. Korriana struggled to see, wanting to see the moment he sired his heir. With one powerful thrust, the ground shook, the man roared sending flames upward as he filled the dragoness with his potent seed. Korriana reached her own orgasm, imagining the bliss Vin must be feeling to be so full of his warmth.

Dawn disentangled immediately, rolling onto his own back, his seed oozing slowly out of Vin. Vin took a shaky claw to push as much as she could back into her, then brought the claw back up for a taste.

"Spicy," she stated disapprovingly.

Dawn sighed and stood up, suddenly in his human form again, "Right, now change back before anyone sees us."

Korriana's eyes grew wide as she realized he was looking straight at her while he said that. She waited for him to look away, then scurried away as quietly as possible.

Korriana made it back to the campfire well before the dragon couple. The other two companions hadn't moved an inch, but the wizard acknowledged Dawn's return.

"Feeling any better?" The wizard asked.

The re-armored Dawn looked at his wife and smiled, "Yeah, we're going to need our own room in Bogragog."
