A New Companion (Gift for LightUmbreon)
As a little gift, for no true reason. I offered to write a story for my pal IB: LightUmbreon over on Inkbunny and he told me he'd like something naughty of his Quilava; Solar and a character I helped him create; Ru the Riolu.
The blazing sun above shone down on the small Pokémon padding along the mountain path. Being a fire type the smaller than average Quilava walked along, enjoying the heat from the sun rays as he hiked the trail. Word around the area was that the top of this mountain was weathered nearly flat by a legendary Pokémon long ago, and overtime grew to support trees, and grassy plains, and lakes.
Many Pokémon believed this to just be a myth in this area, which consisted of rocks, sand, gravel, and more rocks of varying sizes, any plant life was a few stalks of tall dried up grass that was itchy. The idea of a green patch in this area was simply a nice story to tell. If Pokémon wanted to see trees, and lakes they could just hike west a little and reach such an area after a few hours of easy walking, as opposed to a day and a half hike up a mountain.
Solar wasn't so simple though, the need for adventure called to him; so earlier this morning before the sun was even up he had began his travel, stopping to rest now and then and take a few drinks of water from his bag specially made for quadruped Pokémon. He had just gotten done resting a little bit on a slope, letting the sun hit his back; he sighed out and erupted his flames out for a few seconds happily.
Solar's ears caught an odd sound, a little clicking sound that progressed. He glanced up as a rock the size of an apple landed a few feet away from him, the clicking sounds grew increasingly as pebbles and more rocks tumbled down. As he heard more, clicks followed by a familiar rumbling sound Solar panicked and quickly jumped up sliding his backpack on and ran up the trail, as more rocks fell down around him.
"Watch out!" He heard a voice shout, and felt himself get pushed off to the side under a ledge a furry shape beside him. He watched as several large chunks of rocks fell onto the trail, some landing into the ground while others tumbled away down the rest of the mountain. Solar panted and watched, before realizing he wasn't alone and turned to look and see a Riolu; he had a brown scarf on and a bag that stopped at his waist.
"Wow that was really close. Wouldn't have felt nice to be pelted with those." The Riolu said, peeking out after the falling rocks had subsided. "Rockslides are kind of common on this area, so you need to be careful."
Solar gave a tiny little nod, casting his eyes down looking up every now and then to the Riolu. Who tilted his head and smiled. "I'm Ru, are you trying to get to the top of the mountain too and see the Mountain Top Forest?"
"Uh, I'm Solar...Yeah, I heard about it while I was in the town. I wanted to check it out...I didn't think I'd see another Pokémon out here so early..." Solar shifted onto his hind legs, nearly the same height as the Riolu this way.
Ru smiled. "Nor did I. I actually wouldn't mind the company if you want to tag along with me? I'd completely understand if you don't want to."
Solar tossed the idea around in his head a little bit, watching the Riolu who had just helped him avoid being shifted down the mountain. Less dangerous and it wouldn't have been fatal for a Pokémon, but it'd have meant hiking all that way again. If he had wanted to rob him, he could have just taken his stuff and pushed him into the rockslide.
Solar gave a shaky sigh, as he fought his trust issues and gave a small smile. "Uh...Sure, I don't see any harm in tagging along."
Ru nodded. "I certainly wouldn't mind the company, heh. I've been hiking since this morning. Everyone said I was wasting my time coming up here; that this place is a myth and it doesn't exist. So no one came with me."
"I'm pretty much always alone...So I'm used to it. But a traveling companion would add a...Interesting change of pace?" Solar replied, dropping eye contact shyly.
Ru extended his paw and smiled. "Well, then considered me your companion." His face went red as he calmly added. "Traveling! Companion heh heh."
Solar giggled a bit, and went red as well. Tentatively looking at the paw, and putting his own out, shaking it. "Let's get going then...heh."
After looking at his map, Ru decided it best to just stick to the main road. The map itself being pretty old and not caught up with current dates, although Solar did notice as they walked, the Riolu would change landmarks, or add new paths that didn't exist.
"I don't intend to sell maps to this place. I just figure I should keep up the tradition. My grandfather edited this map on his journey. And so I'm doing the same." He explained when Solar had asked. The sun was heading down, and he consulted the map once more. "It seems like we made good progress. After a nights rest, and early walking, we should be finding ourselves in the myth in question by about lunch time."
Solar's flames erupted, albeit not orange, but blue, as he wiggled happily. "I can't wait to see it. I've heard it's beautiful, and very peaceful...I was thinking once I made it there I'd stay there for a few days and just take it all in." Solar said, being more sociable than he realized at the topic of adventure; he caught on and made an embarrassed noise, and looked down.
Ru glanced over at him and chuckled. "You really do enjoy traveling huh? How about we stop here under this ledge to camp, and hopefully no more rocks come tumbling."
Solar nodded as he slipped his pack out and scurried around picking up sticks in his mouth. Ru getting the idea gathered the dry grass and they set up a decent campfire, controlled so it wouldn't catch on anything. Solar sighed and curled up, using his bag as a pillow, Ru followed suit.
Unbeknownst to the two, they were both studying the other. Looking over the bodies, and structure. Eyes roaming and taking in the individual in front of them. Solar tensed up when their eyes met and he quickly pretended he was shifting and rolled over looking away, grateful for the darkness concealing his blush.
Ru smiled, seeing the aura of the other Pokémon. It was how the Riolu had even found Solar, and most of all knew that he was kind and safe to approach and befriend, and sensed that slowly he was gaining Solar's trust. Ru sighed happily, excited for this new friendship and rolled over to fall asleep.
Solar was up much earlier than Ru, and was moving around quickly. Ru groaned and sat up rubbing his eyes looking around, keeping the sun from his face. He looked beside him and saw a handkerchief laid out with a strip of dried meat, and berries. A similar set next to the Quilava.
"Oh is this for me?" He asked, as he realized his stomach was giving off a rather irritable grumble.
Solar's flames lit from the surprise of the voice, and dimmed to a dull red glow as he nodded quickly. "Yeah...The berries will give you stamina for the day. I thought you'd be hungry." His flames grew even redder, making his concealment of his blush pointless.
Even Ru couldn't hide his blush at selfless act of thought of himself by another. He happily ate the given meal and sighed. The meat was a little salty but the sweet berries helped with that. He felt ready to walk for miles --which it just so happened he would be-- and he leaped up, Solar looking at him.
"I'm ready when you are, let's go!" He said pointing up the trail. Solar couldn't help but laugh and finished his meal. He shied a bit as Ru opened his bag on his side and placed the cloths inside, and helped him shut it. "There. Ready to go?"
Solar nodded. Ru hesitated a minute, but then leaned down and hugged Solar. Solar blushed and pressed his head against the Riolu's chest. "Ru..?"
Ru stood up and chuckled nervously. "S-sorry...I just wanted to thank you. For traveling with me..."
Solar smiled shyly. "I should be thanking you; you did save me after all." He said, walking over and pressing his forehead against Ru's shoulder affectionately, who blinked and smiled. "Well,I wasn't going to just let you be carried away by the rocks. If they had, we wouldn't have become traveling companions. We wouldn't have become friends.."
Solar smiled again, and nudged the Riolu's shoulder. "Let's go?"
He nodded, and picked his bag up. The two walked towards the trail to continue on.

Solar and Ru had made the last stretch of walking; not having stopped for breaks. The earlier morning sun was full in the sky now. The hot sun barely affected Solar, a fire type. But he could smell Ru's sweat he had worked up in the last stretch. It wasn't smelly like one would think, but overall salty. The two had gone into overdrive once they realized they were so close to the top; both panting and feeling the fatigue.
As they neared the top, Ru couldn't help but detect an oncoming disappointment from Solar; who was trying to peek over the edge; no detection of trees or green over the last hill. Ru placed his hand on Solar's shoulder as he walked. Solar made a slight tense and looked over, and sighed.
Ru blinked and squinted and gasped softly taking off into a last ditch sprint towards his sight. Solar watched and focused the rest of his energy into a full sprint as well. The Riolu had passed over the hill and out of sight; Solar dashed after him and panted making it over the hill and gasped.
On the other side of the large hill, Ru was staring ahead at the sudden contrast of green, combined with the yellows, pinks, and blues of flowers littering the grassy ground. Off a few feet away the shoreline of a lake was visible, the blue waters rippling now and then from a stray breeze.
Ru walked up to him and smiled. "I knew those myths were true. Come look at this sign, I think I know why now not many people claim to have seen this place." He said tugging at Solar's bag, to get him to follow towards an old plank sign with faded words reading; 'This Mountain Top Forest is a long kept secret. The goal from this is to keep the glory of adventure alive, and reward with beauty the effort of going against what everyone else says. So when someone asks you about the Mountain Top Forest; deny all. Keep the adventure alive.'
Solar read the sign over a few times and smiled. "If everyone said they knew this place, and how pretty it was. It'd just become a casual thing, no wonder everyone in the town's I visited said this place was fake. I wonder how many of them have actually been."
Ru nodded. "As long as people keep the secret alive, I'm sure we'll never know." He said. Both realizing that Ru was still standing beside him, his paw on Solar's back. Both recoiled blushing where the other couldn't see.
"Um, sorry. Do you want to head to the lake and check it out? We can fill our canteens while we're there." He added, quickly.
Solar nodded and then his eyes got wide. "I don't have to get in do I? I'll just sit on the shoreline..."
Ru tilted his head, but nodded. "Sure that's fine. I figured I'd take a dip though." He replied, walking on towards the lakes visible shore with Solar behind him.
The two arrived, and despite his fear of the water, Solar still admired the beauty of the crystal like surface of the water, so clear that you could see the bottom as if looking through a pane of glass. Ru pulled his bag off and walked to the edge and stepped back and ran in, diving into the water breaking its surface. Solar turned his head as a few sprinkles of water landed on him, and he gave a tiny smile, watching the Riolu glide under the water to the surface.
He broke the surface again and sighed out in obvious relief. "Ah...It's so cool, but not freezing. Perfect temperature." He said looking up at Solar. "Sure you don't want to come in?"
Solar made a silent shake of his head, and sat on the ground at the shore, leaning in and lapping at the water with his tongue, taking his fill of the fresh water before getting out his canteens. "I'll just watch you heh."
Ru made a humph sound and dived underwater. For a minute Solar thought he had made his companion upset that he didn't want to (or know how to) swim. Through the clear water he saw the shape go deep to the near bottom, and then a gasp of surprise at a blue light flash and the Riolu propel up and out of the water directly to Solar, who tried to quickly get up and scramble away only for Ru to tackle into him from above, and looking down at him., pinning him playfully.
"If you don't want to come in, then I'll just come out here." He said, giggling. Looking down at the Quilava, whose front paws were up in defeat. Solar looked up at Ru, who had a large grin on his face. The small Quilava blushed and without thinking of the consequences leaned up, placing a tiny lick along the Riolu's muzzle.
Ru froze and went red in the face, his grin slowly replaced with an open mouth and half closed eyes, an odd contrast of calm, but unsure. "Solar...?"
Solar immediately felt in the wrong. "Sorry...I um, got ahead of myself. I was j-just trying to struggle and lean up to-" His apologetic excuses rambling was cut off by Ru, who leaned in gently pressing his lips to Solar's, making the other Pokémon tense slightly, but relax and close his eyes, as the two shared a passionate kiss.
Ru blushed and sat up, sitting on his rear with his paws in his lap. "Dammit, not again..."
Solar; confused, rolled over and looked at Ru, his taste still on his own lips as he licked at them, and blushed. "I'm sorry if that wasn't what you expected..."
Ru shook his head and looked down. "It's not that, it's...I've...All of yesterday...and the night...Whenever we'd stop and rest, or when we stopped for the night last night...this keeps happening...Just being around you..."
Solar now caught on quickly and his eyes followed to Ru's paws. He stepped forward, despite Ru's protests that he should go and find some berries while he took care of it, but Solar kept moving until he was up near Ru, nosing the paws away, and blushed as he was hit with the scent of arousal, and greeted to the sight of the red member, standing out against the blue fur of the Riolu.
Solar moved around behind Ru, his long body brushing Riolu's back as he peeked around the side, face closer to the red cock, nosing it, licking up the member, causing it to softly throb, and Ru to give a little whine. "Solar yo- nnnh.." Ru's words were cut off as Solar began a series of licks, at the base, over the tip, across the length. Ru's eye shut and he groaned out, his head tilting back as he did. "Ahh..."
Solar panted softly, the scent of Ru's arousal mixed with the lake water, his body pressed against damp fur as he kissed and licked the warm, pulsing member in front of his face, feeling his own sheathe twitching, as the tip of his own cock began to slip out. He opened his mouth, breathing warm air onto Ru's cock, sending shivers through the Riolu's body. Solar lowered his mouth over it, and began slowly sliding his mouth up and down, inside his tongue stroked and teased over the member.
He closed his eyes, listening to Ru moan, and grunt softly. Blushing when a paw rested on his head, beckoning him on. Solar, bobbed his head up and down, developing a rhythm in a short amount of time. He felt the paw grip his head fur lightly, and a shaky grunt. "Solar I-..."
Solar slid his mouth off and panted, looking up. Ru went red and leaned down, kissing Solar. "Why'd you stop...Did I do something wrong..." Solar shook his head.
"I..Wanted to...I want to cum with you...I want you to..." Solar went red, unsure how to explain. Ru didn't need the explanation.
"Are you sure...We've only known each other for a night..."
"I don't care...I felt something click when we met and I...I want you...To be with you..."
Ru nodded. "I feel the same..."
Solar stood up, and stretched his front legs out, his rear in the air, hind legs spread apart. He looked back and blushed, panting and shivering softly. "I trust you...I want to do this with you..."
Ru stood behind Solar, his cock still nice and slick from the earlier treatment. He nodded, and slowly guided his cock, finding his target and pressing inside slowly, grunting at the tight, warm entrance. Solar arched under him, moaning and whining quietly.
Ru leaned over him, kissing at his neck reassuringly. The two had never done this with anyone else; just doing what felt right. Ru comforted Solar as he slowly pressed in more, clenching his teeth, sliding up to his knot. Solar tried to relax, adjusting to the unfamiliar feeling of being entered. He grunted and panted, as Ru waited.
"Ready?"
Solar nodded, and his claws dug into the ground when Ru started to slowly pull out and push in, wrapping his arms around Solar's body, his front resting on Quilava's back as he began to speed up his hip thrusts, grunting and moaning out.
Solar closed his eyes, claws digging more into the ground to steady himself, looking back and seeing Ru's hips moving back and forth. After a few minutes, Ru stopped, and slowly slid out. Solar made a noise of complaint at the empty sensation, and looked in surprise as Ru nudged him onto his back.
"I want to see you..." He said, leaning in, and resting over Solar, the two shared a kiss as Ru guided himself back inside, spreading Solar's hind legs and entering again. Solar tensed and found that being able to see Ru was much more comforting, and he began to relax quicker. He watched Ru's face, grunting and tasting his tongue, the muscle stroking his own. His eyes rolled up in pleasure and he laid his head back, moaning and crying out in pleasure.
Ru grunted each time he hilted, leaning in and biting at Solar's exposed neck, kissing the soft fur, giving a dominant bite, feeling the shivers run through Solar. His body rocked each time Ru thrusted, speeding up.
"t-tie me..." Solar moaned, as he felt Ru's cock throbbing inside him, the knot at his base hitting each thrust now.
Ru nodded, not needing to be told a second time as he began to thrust harder, gritting his teeth as he got closer and closer, until he gave one final push, his knot spreading Solar until it popped in and he cried out, warm cum spurting in ropes. Solar made a higher pitched moan, as his own cum landed on his cream colored chest. Ru sank forward collapsing, Solar lying under him, against his chest, their foreheads touching, the two panting hotly. They shared one more kiss before exhaustion kicked in and the two passed out by the lake.

A few days had passed since that night, and the two were packing up to head back down the mountain. They had rested early the night before, and filled their canteens to the brim. They had spent most of the morning picking Pecha Berries from the trees, some for lunch and some to take with them on the travel back.
After a break they gathered their bags and supplies, and Solar and Ru took one last look at the area. Solar sat up on his hind legs. "We're going to come back here sometime right? After all if it wasn't for this place, we probably wouldn't have met." He said with a shy giggle.
Ru grinned and leaned in kissing Solar's lips gently. "Only if you'll be my travel companion."
