Roderick and the Dragon

A brave little rabbit confronts an evil dragon, to try and save the world! But it probably won't work out in his favor. OH WELL!

A weird little story that spawned out of a conversation I was having with a friend - mainly about what it might be like to serve a dragon for all time, and how that would come about. This is a bit of a weird one, but inspiration struck, and I had to write it. Hope you all enjoy.

The dragons castle lay before him - imposing, menacing, and every bit as fearsome as it had been described in the folk stories and rumours.

Roderick Cottontail had started his journey to defeat the terrible dragon many moons ago, but now that he was finally here, and the last leg of his journey was laid out before his eyes, he felt a strong desire to turn tail and flee all the way back to his village.

But he knew he couldn't; the villagers were all depending on him to succeed, and overthrow the evil dragon that had ruled tyrannically over the countryside for the past few years. Many other heroes had been sent to face the dragon, but alas, had never returned.

But Roderick knew he was different! He had the magical sword that had been prophesised to defeat evil. That, along with the hopes and belief of his friends back home, he knew he could bring down the dragon.

Steeling himself with a deep breath of air, the brown rabbit puffed out his chest, gripped his magical sword tightly in his right hand, and strode confidently towards the castles portcullis.

"Lord Onyx! Lord Onyx!" a fearful cry came from the large doors of the throne room, catching the attention of the large dragon within.

"Another hero has invaded the castle, sire! He means to kill you, Lord!" the panting guard said hastily, stopping for a moment to catch his breath.

The dragon's yellow eyes flashed in the torchlight of the throne room as he sat forward, shifting his large form upon his gilded throne.

"Oh? A single hero, you say?" he asked in his deep rumble of a voice, that nearly shook the stone walls around him.

"Yes Lord. He has the magical sword sire!" the guard shouted, having to speak quite loudly so the large dragon could understand him.

"Hmm...very well then," the dragon rumbled, "Allow the hero passage into my throne room at once."

"But...sire, do you think that is wise?" the guard asked incredulously.

The dragon snarled loudly, sending a shower of sparks from out between his razor-sharp teeth, "Do not question me, worm! Do as I say before I slay you in his place!"

"Y-Yes Lord! Right away, Lord!" the guard cried, scampering out of the corridor as fast as his feet would carry him.

"Now then..." Lord Onyx muttered softly, sinking back in his throne (that was the size of a two-story building) and crossing his arms across his bare, red scaled chest, "Let's see what challenge you can pose to me, hero."

Roderick glanced cautiously through the large wooden doors of the throne room, seeing nothing but inky darkness beyond them. The guards had put up a half-hearted fight as he had entered the castle, but had suspiciously backed off after a few minutes. Perhaps in fear of his magical sword? Or in the hopes that he really could slay the terrifying dragon?

Either way, Roderick couldn't back out now. The little bunny breathed deeply, and leapt forwards into the throne room, ready for whatever the dragon might throw at him!

Sitting upon the throne at the other end of the room, was the dragon. Roderick felt his heart start pounding in his chest, and his knees began to knock together. The stories of the dragon's fearful stature hadn't done him justice.

He was impossibly tall; Roderick doubted that he was taller than one of the red dragons large, humanoid feet. The idea of being crushed beneath one of those massive, clawed stompers sent a shiver down his spine. How many men and women had the dragon trampled during his tyrannical reign? Even by accident?

Not only was he over ten times the size of Roderick, but his body was incredibly muscular. Roderick had no doubt that the dragon could pick up a house and crush it in his bare hands, as easily as he might do to an egg.

Atop his head were several large spikes, that made him look twice as menacing and powerful. The spikes ran all the way down his back, getting shorter as they descended his spine, until they turned into hard bumps upon his long, red tail. No doubt one flick of that giant appendage could level an entire town!

What surprised Roderick was the absence of any wings upon his back. Maybe he was hiding them with some sort of spell? Either way, he doubted that the dragon would have much need of them; a journey that would take Roderick an entire day, the dragon could make in minutes with his giant stride.

The dragon was modestly clothed too; only wearing a large loincloth made of many dyed black sheets that had been sewn together. He had also adorned his wrists, shins, tail, and fingers with golden jewellery, that glittered with large gems - even one of which would turn even the poorest pauper into a wealthy king.

All in all, the little rabbit was slightly overwhelmed by the true visage of his foe, and the cruel smirk that the dragon had affixed him with was doing nothing to ease his rising tension.

"So," the dragon spoke, causing Roderick's ears to sting with the volume of his voice, "You're the 'hero' my guards were so afraid of...I expected someone more imposing."

"I'm imposing enough!" Roderick shouted back, trying to keep his voice from cracking, "I've been sent to slay you, and end your tyrannical reign!"

"Yes, yes, I've heard it before," Lord Onyx said, feigning a yawn, that showed the hero his row of sharp teeth, "You're not the first hero to come here...I doubt you'll be the last."

"I will be the last!" Roderick retorted, finding his nerve and stepping towards the dragon, his little cottontail wiggling nervously, "I - Roderick - have been chosen to wield the magic sword, prophesised to bring an end to yo-"

His speech was cut short by a sharp laugh from the dragon, that shook the ground beneath Roderick's feet.

"Ah yes...that prophecy. I've made up quite a few of those, to lure you little heroes to my castle," Lord Onyx explained in a softer tone, gazing down at the little rabbit with a condescending smile.

"Wha...what?!" Roderick exclaimed, glancing at the sword in his hands, then back at the dragon, seeking some form of explanation.

"I send out my servants every few months, spreading gossip and stories about magical artifacts that can end my reign...but it's all lies," the dragon explained, taking a great deal of pleasure from the look of horror on the rabbit's face, "In truth, that sword of yours is no different than any other piece of metal...and it stands no chance of even piercing my scales."

Roderick gazed down at his shiny sword, feeling his heart sinking inside his chest. His quest had been for nothing? All the hopes and dreams of his village had been invested in...a lie? No...it couldn't be true! He refused to believe the vile words of the dragon. He only sought to plant a seed of doubt inside of him, and make him turn tail without a fight! That had to be it!

With a roar, Roderick sprang forwards, running towards the dragon with lightning quick speed. Lord Onyx was rather surprised by how fast the little, brown rabbit was moving towards him, and that moment of hesitation from the dragon was all Roderick needed in order to strike!

Roderick crouched down on his toes, before leaping with all his might towards the dragon's legs. With a roar, he threw his sword back, and as he flew towards Onyx's exposed leg, he plunged the sword forwards, hoping to tear a bloody gash in the beast's flesh.

Roderick's arms suddenly flared with pain as the sword struck into the dragon's scales, and harmlessly bounced off. It was as if he had tried to stab his sword against a stone wall! Roderick cried out in dismay as he began to fall back towards the ground, and his sword fell from his shaken grasp.

Before he fell back to the throne room floor, one of the dragon's large hands snatched him from the air, leaving the supposedly magical sword to clatter harmlessly to the ground.

"A fine attempt...even if I did warn you of its futility," Onyx rumbled softly, as he held the squirming and struggling rabbit up to his eyes, getting a good look at his captive.

The dragon had to admit that the rabbit was cute; chocolate brown fur covered his body, blue eyes stared fearfully up at him from beneath a crop of shaggy hair and long rabbit ears, and the way his pink nose quivered was just too precious. The dragon always liked it when handsome, young heroes came to kill him; it was so much more enjoyable to watch their faces crumple as they realised just how unprepared they were.

"So...what shall I do with you, little hero? Roderick, wasn't it?" Onyx asked in a whisper, that still sounded like someone shouting in the little rabbit's ears.

Roderick was barely listening, too busy with trying to break himself free of the dragon's clutches. His fiery red hands were like iron bars as they held him in place, and he was silently thankful that the dragon hadn't decided to squeeze down upon his frail body, or cut him with those large, black claws of his.

"L-Let me go!" Roderick demanded, his voice cracking and squeaking from fear as he gazed into the large - and now much closer - face of the smirking dragon.

"Mmm...what fun would there be in letting you go?" the dragon asked rhetorically, opening his palm slowly, and using a single finger on his other hand to press the rabbit down flat against it - taking care to avoid making the rabbit a shish kebab upon his nail.

"Don't crush me!" the rabbit pleaded, wrapping his hands around the finger that was as big as his chest, trying to push it off himself. But it was no use; his strength was no match for even a fraction of the dragons, and it was slowly dawning upon him how utterly helpless he was.

"I won't crush you little rabbit...not yet, anyway," Onyx said softly, a soft plume of smoke drifting from his lips as he gazed down at the helpless 'hero'.

"Now, let's see...what does my new slave look like beneath all that ridiculous armour?" Lord Onyx asked curiously, smirking as he hooked a sharp claw underneath the rabbit's metal breastplate.

"Slave?" Roderick repeated in horror, before a flick of the dragon's mighty finger tore through the armour on his chest, leaving him topless, and utterly embarrassed.

"Hm. Rather small, but cute enough I suppose," the dragon rumbled, enjoying the way the little rabbit was trying to cover his bare chest, "Let's see the rest now, shall we?"

The rest?! Roderick spun over on the dragon's palm, and tried to scramble towards his fingers and maybe escape in between them, but he wasn't quick enough. He let out an undignified squeal as he felt a sharp tearing from his pants, as the dragon's claw swiped through the air, and tore through his leather trousers - narrowly missing his fluffy tail!

"My pants!" Roderick cried, covering his shame with his hands as the last tatters of his clothes fell away from the dragon's palm, towards the cold stone floor below.

"What are you doing you tyrant?! Are you just trying to shame me before you kill me, like you did to all the others who tried to end your evil reign?!" Roderick shouted up at the dragon, trying to look as heroic as one could while cupping their own genitals.

"Why do you think I killed all the other heroes?" the dragon asked lazily, sitting back in his throne, and smiling with delight as he watched the tiny rabbit dance about in embarrassment and fear.

"You...didn't kill them?" Roderick responded, slightly taken aback by the dragon's words, "Then...you enslaved them! Put them to work in a mine until they die of back breaking labour!"

"Well, you're half right," the dragon said with a laugh.

Roderick cried out in alarm as Onyx reached out, and pinched the rabbit around the waist with his thumb and forefinger, being surprisingly gentle with the naked hero.

"No doubt you've noticed all my jewellery, have you not?" Onyx asked in a strangely amused voice, moving Roderick through the air until he was gazing at one of the large golden rings that adorned the dragon's horns.

"Tell me little rabbit, up close and personal...do you notice anything peculiar about my adornments?"

Roderick squinted slightly as he gazed at the golden ring in front of him. It was an intricate and beautiful thing, with detailed carvings that ran across the surface of the bangle, but apart from the large gem in the centre, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary...but wait, the gem...

The green gem was in the shape of...a bear. But it wasn't just any bear! Roderick recognised this bear as being Hedrig the Colossal, a famous adventurer that had gone missing after he had decided to challenge the dragon to one on one combat. The likeness was uncanny, and the way the gem was glowing was almost as if...something was inside.

Onyx then swung him through the air, placing him in front of another ring. This one had a similar jewel, but it was pink, and bore a striking resemblance to Shay Silvertongue, a sorceress who had vanished only a few months ago, after entering the dragons castle.

One after another he was shown another ring, and each one was fitted with a different coloured gemstone, shaped just like one of the missing adventurers.

Roderick let out a scream of dread as the pieces fit together in his mind.

"All the heroes that fought you...you've turned them all into jewellery?!" Roderick cried as the dragon lowered him back down onto his palm. None of the stories about the dragon had mentioned anything this frightening; his strength was feared throughout the land, but who knew he was capable of such dark magic as well?!

"My you are a sharp one, aren't you? Most of them don't realise that until I've started working my magic upon them," Onyx snickered, "A hero as clever as you are, is deserving of a special fate...and I think I know just the place to adorn you with, my latest accessory."

Lord Onyx turned his palm upside down, releasing the little rabbit, and letting him fall through the air. Roderick cried out in fear as the air began to whoosh past his naked body, causing his fur to flutter in all directions. The floor was approaching at an alarming pace, and Roderick reached out from something to grab onto.

His hands found slight purchase on one of the dragon's bare legs, and he managed to slow his descent somewhat, until he toppled down onto the top of Onyx's right foot, winded from the landing and shivering in fear, but for the moment, unharmed.

His world quickly turned upside down however, as Onyx tilted his foot to the side, and sent the dazed rabbit toppling painfully to the floor of the throne room.

Roderick tried to regain his senses as he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees. His head was ringing, and he was having trouble regaining his breath...all he needed to do was get to the doors of the throne room, and he might be able to make an escape, maybe he'd have time to...

A large shadow loomed over him, cast by the torches that lined the room. With a nervous gulp, Roderick gazed upwards, and he didn't like what he saw one bit.

The dragons colossal foot loomed above him, the sole of which was slightly cream coloured, and softer looking than the redder scales that covered most of Onyx's body. It was almost twice as long as Roderick was, and as the dragon wiggled his toes slightly in anticipation of an act Roderick didn't want to imagine, deep down he knew there was no escape from the colossal dragon's foot.

"I always love this part...and trust me slave, you'll enjoy the one that comes after it!" the dragon said with a room rumbling laugh, as he slowly began to lower his large, muscular foot down onto the rabbit.

Roderick rolled onto his back, raising his arms up and crying out in terror as the wall of flesh lowered towards him. His arms pressed into the soft scales of Onyx's sole, and for a brief, hopeful moment, the rabbit thought he might actually be strong enough to stop the foot from pressing down upon him.

But his hope was fleeting as the dragon kept pressing down, and Roderick could do nothing but let out a muffled cry, as Onyx's cream coloured sole flattened his arms against his side, and began to smother him.

The dragon was indifferent to the fear and suffering of the tiny rabbit beneath his foot; after all, who takes the feelings of a bug into consideration, before crushing it beneath their heel? Roderick was in hell as the foot kept bearing down upon him, wedging him against the stone floor. He was quite literally between a rock and a hard place, and the space between them was growing tighter by the second.

He silently wished that his mouth wasn't being smothered against a giant dragon sole - maybe he might have been able to plead for mercy, or forgiveness. Maybe the next hero would have some luck in defeating this tyrant of a dragon...but he doubted it. How could anyone stand up against such a powerful, godlike figure?

Roderick was dimly aware that although there was an immense pressure surrounding him, he strangely felt no pain. It was very odd, as he was sure the dragon was pressing down with all his might, and even grinding the sole of his foot against the stone floor...in fact, how was he even still alive? Surely his bones should have been ground to dust by now? What was going on?!

Onyx lifted his foot up after several minutes of applying pressure, and smirked down at the spot where Roderick had been only moments before. Instead of a small stain on the floor that one might have expected to see, was instead a bright blue gem, in the shape of a rather attractive rabbit.

The dragon grinned cruelly as he bent down to retrieve the gemstone, and with a mystical wave of his hand, a golden ring appeared with a slot to accommodate it. Carefully, he slipped the gemstone into its new setting, and gazed at the gem's horrified expression with an immense feeling of accomplishment.

"No, that's right...you aren't dead, Rodrick," the dragon spoke with a low chuckle, twirling the ring across his knuckles, "No, you are going to serve me for many years to come...eternity in fact, unless I grow bored of you."

Rodrick gazed out from his prison, immobile, unable to act, but still able to feel, smell, hear and see. It was terrifying, it was infuriating...and he knew there was nothing he could do to free himself!

"But I suppose I should show you the special place I have in mind for you..." the dragon said, licking his lips as he made a show of reaching for his loincloth.

"Please no, you can't seriously..." Rodrick thought to himself, the gems horrified expression conveying his inner thoughts.

"That's right 'Rod Ring'," the dragon taunted, as he pulled aside his loincloth, and exposed a member that put even the largest of men to shame, "This will be your new home...aren't you excited?"

Rodrick was screaming internally as the dragon lowered him towards his slowly stiffening rod. He tried to fight his way out of this situation, but no matter how hard he mentally struggled, he couldn't break out of the gem that was now his being.

Rodrick wished he could close his eyes as he was brought down across the head of the dragon's shaft, his gem body forced to stare upwards at the body of his captor as he was slowly lowered. Somehow, he could still feel, and he felt every inch of the dragon as it passed through the ring, as if it were his own! It was like being violated in the worst possible way, and Rodrick was once again screaming for help in his own mind.

Onyx hissed softly in delight as he slipped the ring down onto his member, feeling the terror and violation of the hero trapped inside, and...the tiny feelings of pleasure that were beginning to mix in with the fear.

As much as he hated to admit it, and as much as he tried to deny it, a faint stirring of pleasure had begun to arise in his gem body, as the ring was lowered. It didn't make sense - it shouldn't make sense! - but Rodrick couldn't deny that what he was feeling now was pleasure, and as Onyx slid him into place against the base of his shaft, those feelings only doubled.

Is this what the other trapped heroes felt too, Rodrick dimly thought as he tried to sort out his own feelings. Terror, anger, pleasure, pain, his new grim reality, it was all too much for him. His mind began to slow, and eventually, he stopped feeling as scared, and as angry, and just let the pleasure of being wrapped around the dragon engulf him, and whisk him away to an exhausted, dreamless sleep.

Onyx could feel the mind of the rabbit relaxing, and grinned as he reached down to stroke himself, and the gem that represented Rodrick.

"Sleep for now, my tiny slave...and when you wake, I'll show you all the pleasures that your new form can bring you, just as I've shown all the other heroes that glisten upon my Godly form."

As Onyx began to stroke himself as he lay back in his throne, he grinned contently, as he felt the dozens of other gems on his body react to his bodies own pleasure. He had grown used to feeling their thoughts around him, and as he listened to all their lust filled thoughts, his own mind turned to the future of the gem around his erect member.

He'd have so many fun filled months, as he made Rodrick just as obedient and slavish as the rest of them. Maybe Rodrick could help him pick out a place for the next hapless hero that wandered into his throne room...he could always use a new toe ring.
