Chapter 4 – A normal day

Real World

Around 6:00 am John woke up, because he felt something wet on his face. When John opened his eyes he saw Balto, who was licking his face. After John was dressed he went on a walk with Balto around the block. After half a hour he returned home. He took a shower and went down to eat breakfast with his parents and his sister. Around 7:30 am John left the house to walk to school.

The first lesson started at 8:00 am. John first double lesson was history, after art Johns second favourite lesson at school. The history teacher was Mister Smith. He was around 40 years old. He was as tall as John. Mister Smith had black hair and wore glasses. Most of the schooldays he wore a suit. He had a clear and strict voice. So the class was silence most of the time.

The history lesson was about the second world war. The teacher spoke about the background and the politic situation at the beginning of the war. The coalition that were formed and which treaties were made or broken. He explained the course of the war in Europe and the Pacific. Before he could began he to talk about the world after the war the lesson was over. John was the last who left the classroom. In the corridor he meet Mike, who had also history, but they had no time to talk before the lesson began. Now they used the break the talk. “Hi, John nice to meet you after the adventure from yesterday.” “It was an interesting experience. When my family returned home my mother had a surprise for me. It was a dog puppy.” “Nice what is the name of the puppy.” “Balto, if you wish you could come to me after school to meet him.” “Why not. How do you like Furries World so far.” “You didn't lie about the game it is great. I hope do make some quest today but that depends on the homework we get. “

When the bell ringed to signal the end of the break John said: “Let's go we don't want to be late to the biology lesson. You know that we get extra homework from Miss Harrison if we are late.” They both made it in time. They took there seats in the back shortly before the lesson began. For John it was torture because biology was after maths his most hated lesson at school. After ninety minutes the lesson was over. But they got a lot of homework for the next lesson on Wednesday. The last double lesson for the day was chemistry with Mister Parker. It was not a very hard lesson nor was it very interesting. After the end of the lesson John walked home with Mike so he could meet Balto.

After a short walk they reached Johns home. When John opened the door Balto came to him and jumped at him. John set Balto down and said: “Balto this is my friend Mike. Mike this is Balto.” Mike kneeled down so he was at eye level with Balto. Mike petted Balto, who wag with his tail. Because no member of Johns family was home John had to make lunch himself. “Does your mother know that you are here?” asked John and Mike answered: “Yes and she said that it is OK that I could stay here until the evening.” “Good, do you have some wish what you want to eat. “ “No I eat everything what you make.” So John made some Lasagne. After they had eat they walked with Balto around the block. They played a some time with Balto before they began there homework in Johns room

It took them two hours to finish all the work. Mike had problems with history so he needed Johns help. In return Mike helped John with biology. Because they had to build a model of a DNA helix. After that was done they had to say goodbye to each other because Mike had to return home. A few minutes after Mike had left Johns parents returned home. Johns sister had returned a few hours ago when John and Mike were walking with Balto. She stayed the whole time in her room. At 7:00 pm John and his family had dinner. After that John could play a few hours Furries World before he had to walk with Balto again and go to bed. So he started the game.

Game World

When John had logged in he heard a voice who said: “ So my fucking watchdog had return. I hope you had a terrible day.” “Shut the fuck up Raki. “ My name is Rakiskaturanier not Raki you piece of shit and let me free before I kill you.” “John put some food into the cage of Rakiskaturanier and left the inn. It was already dark in the city so not many persons were on the street. To Johns surprise he saw some knights with white amours who were walking on the street. Because of his past experience with the knight of the white cosmos he walked in a different direction to avoid another fight. After a short walk he ended in the shabby part of the town. All the buildings looked like nobody cared for them. The persons who John saw on the street looked like there were on some kind of drug. Because they looked straight ahead but without to see anything. They also walked like zombies. Some dark figure with a dark robe came to John and ask: “Do you need some Mirakulus Dust.” “No thanks.” Mirakulus Dust is a drug in Furries World. You got hallucination for a few hours. Even player can get addicted to the drug so they need it everyday to play the game.

John continued his walk through the part of the district. John saw a shop on which sign showed the head of a demon. The symbol was made out of red ink. The name of the shop was Demonsin. Out of curiosity John entered the shop. Everywhere stood shelves in which all kind of different things could be found like books, part of demon or other animals or object you need to summon a demon. “So did you find something, which interest you. I see that you are a knight I can sell you a potion which could make you stronger or faster.”Said the shopkeeper. He was a hybrid of tiger and dragon. He had the body of a tiger. But he had red scales instead of fur. He also had wings who were folded behind his back. “Name is Dante by the way.” said the shopkeeper and John answered: “Bloodclaw, sorry but I don't need a potion. I entered the shop out of curiosity so I will leave now and maybe returned tomorrow.” “OK that is bad. Bye” Before John could leave shop. The door opened and two knights in white amour entered the shop. Fast John hid behind one of the shelves because he didn't want to fight today. He heard the talk between the knights and the shopkeeper. They wanted from him a special potion, which the shopkeeper didn't want to sell. John wasn't interested in the business of the knight so he walked slowly and in silence to the exit. But before he could reach the exit, one of the knight turned around and saw him. The knight asked John: “What are you doing there?” “I got lost and asked the shopkeeper how I get back to the centrum of the city.” “Run and tell nobody that we were here or we will catch and torture you.” Before John could leave the shop the other knight said: “Wait a moment. I know this face from our wanted list in the city headquarter. He defended a traitor against Mistress Kalpision.” said the other one. “Let's get him and drag him to Mistress Kalpision to get a reward.” “Good idea.” So they both drew there weapons. John was forced to draw his weapon to defend himself against the knights.

Because of the limited space the knights couldn't attack John together. The fight continued for a few minutes before John could hit one of the knight deadly. After that the fight continued. The other knight was fighting with more and more rage so his hit became stronger. John was forces against a wall. With the next attack the knight could hit John on his paw so John was force to let his sword fall. Out of sheer desperation John charged at his enemy. John knocked him down. Before the white knight could draw his dagger John took his head and smashed it on the ground an the knight passed out. John used this opportunity to slice the knight's throat with his claws. After a moment John got up and faced the shopkeeper. John claws where still dripping with the blood of the knight. “Nice fight pup.” John took his sword back and said: “If you call me again pup you will end like the knights. “ “OK, OK I get it.” He then walked to one of the shelves and took out one of the potion and said: “You can have this Potion because of me you had to fight.” John took a few minutes to think about it and then he accepted the gift. The shopkeeper then said: “ This is one of the strongest Potion in the world. You should drink it only when you have no other option because it is possible that it could kill you.” After John said goodbye he left the shop and walked back to the centre of city.

After a short walk he reached the centre. Then he walked to the forge to practice his forge skill for one hour. During the practice he made the first part of an amour. He also began to melt down all the metal he got during the adventure of the last days. Most of the metal were iron or copper but it had no high quality so John decided to look online how to raise the quality of metal in the game. After the barrels had cooled down. John took them and left the forge. He went to the market to buy new metal to make a few experiments. He wanted to create new alloys for his armour and weapons. He also bought some new potions and bandages.

In a fantasy book he read about people how paint with blood from different creatures, who they mixed with plant to preserve the paintings. John new out of self experience that in the game that the blood colour of some creature were different. In the real world it was possible to paint with blood but it was nearly impossible to change the colour of the blood. After his shopping trip had ended, John returned to his room in the inn. He fed Rakiskaturanier and again Rakiskaturanier insulted John and demand his freedom. After that John logged out.

Real World

When John returned to the real world it was only 9:30 pm. He had to walk with Balto again. After that he went to bed. Balto wanted to sleep with John in the bed. First John was trying to send Balto into his basket. But after half a hour John gave up and let Balto sleep with him.
