The Man and the Mewtwo Part 1: The New Roommate
And here's a little series that is more or less just about the smut, at least, eventually. Commissioned by an anonymous commissioner, this story is part 1 of 4, where a human and a Mewtwo end up sharing an apartment (not by the human's choice) and the naughty mind control that goes on in the background. Enjoy.

Chapter 1: The New Roommate
For Anonymous
By Draconicon
There was not a man alive that enjoyed retail work, and Fred was no exception. He slumped forward as he trundled home from S-Mart, his arms dangling down and swaying limply, his hair hanging over his face as he grumbled and groaned with very step he took, trying to avoid thinking about the fact that he'd need to walk back along the same path in just a few hours for the morning shift.
The moon overhead didn't give him any comfort, either. Yes, he had time for a long night of sleep, but that was just a temporary respite from a life that kept pushing him down, kept crushing him beneath its heel, kept him from ever having any fun.
He looked down at his paycheck. A paltry six hundred dollars for two weeks of work would hardly be enough to keep his rent paid for the month, and maybe have a little more left over for food. The new MMO, the latest movies, a few good books, all of them were out of his reach.
So much for some new content on the channel, he thought, thinking back to the youtube thing he'd attempted to start. For all his efforts after work, Fred knew that there were maybe twenty subscribers to the damn thing, and fewer that watched his uploads regularly. The hope for a secondary income from that was fleeting, and the longer he was forced to work, the less likely it seemed that it would ever happen.
He sighed, shaking his head.
The only good thing about his job was that it was close to his apartment. The S-Mart he worked at was only a fifteen-minute walk from home, and he could cover that distance in ten if he had to. Had done, some mornings.
He reached the old brick building, hearing a thump and thud above. Fred paused, looking up to see if a cat had landed on the fire escape again, but saw nothing.
Must have been someone dropping something.
Shrugging, he walked inside. The ground floor was as abandoned as it always was this late at night, with only the night watchman looking up as he entered. The old mustachioed man nodded at him, and he nodded back.
“Anything good tonight, Bob?"
“Nothing tonight. You're the last resident."
“You sure?"
“Already counted the others."
Bob was good at that. Had an eidetic memory, or so most said. Fred was halfway to the elevator when he paused, turning around.
“You might want to check the fire escapes on the other side of the building. I heard something go thump back there."
“I'll go check in a bit."
“Alright. Night."
“Night."
One elevator ride later, he was on the middle floor of the apartment building, his door right in front of the little metal box. He unlocked it, stepped inside –
Why is my window open? was his first thought.
Why is there a loveseat in front of my door? was the second.
Why is there someone else in my apartment? was the third.
He climbed carefully over the loveseat, making his way down the short hallway. It ended abruptly in a t-section, where going forward would take him to the kitchen and going left would take him to the living room. Poking his head around the corner to see what was casting the shadow on his carpet, Fred was left staring in shock.
It wasn't human, that was the first thing he noticed.
The second thing was that it was holding up a couch with nothing but a gesture. And when he said nothing but a gesture, he meant that it was pointing at the couch, and the couch was floating on its own. No strings, no devices, nothing. Just…floating, suspended on a golden light that seemed to hold it aloft weightlessly.
And the third thing he noticed was…he recognized the creature.
It was one of those Pokémon from that old game, though its body and coloration didn't match. He remembered seeing the cards and the games a while back, remembered this one being one of the big ones. A, uh, Mewtwo, he was pretty sure it was called, though he'd never seen a Mewtwo that was white and gold rather than white and purple.
The fuck are –
I can hear you.
“Holy shit!"
Fred leaped back to his feet, lunging for the door. He was halfway over the loveseat in the hallway before the gold light wrapped around him, freezing him in place before slowly lifting him up in the air.
He couldn't even shout as he was pulled back to the living room, forced to continue crouching in mid-air as if he was going to leap over something that wasn't even there. The Mewtwo turned him around, spinning him in place the way that he had once done with a Super Smash Bros trophy, and continued to turn him this way and that, almost like he was curious with what he could do.
It was dizzying and terrifying to say the least, and Fred didn't know what he was going to do if he couldn't move. The sheer power of the creature was beyond his understanding; he couldn't move, couldn't speak, could barely think.
You're thinking entirely too loud.
How are you doing this?!
I'm psychic.
That didn't help in the slightest, but at least he had a way of communicating.
It was still disorienting, though. He was held upside-down, the blood rushing to his head as the Pokémon started rooting through his thoughts. Fred could feel the touch of Mewtwo's mind inside of his thoughts, pushing and pulling, dragging some things forward and pushing other things back, like his thoughts were a random selection of file cabinets or something. Every time that something was yanked to the fore, it left him with a mild headache, and soon he was groaning in discomfort.
Finally, Mewtwo put him back on his feet. Fred instinctively dusted himself off, then froze.
He looked back at the window, then back at Mewtwo, then back at the window again.
“Did…you hit the fire escape just a few minutes ago?"
Yes.
“That was loud."
I wasn't intending to hit it.
“…Why am I –"
Still here? Why are you listening to me? Why are you not running away?
“All of those would be very good answers to have, yes."
I'm not letting you. Try to shout.
Fred figured that it would be a decent idea to try, even if it didn't work. After all, he was kind of a hostage in his own room now. He opened his mouth, planning to shout about the Mewtwo, meaning to scream for someone to come help…
But nothing came.
As soon as he opened his mouth, his throat clenched shut, his eyes watering, his body frozen in place. His muscles spasmed for a few seconds, then stopped. Fred blinked, trying again.
This time, his shout was turned into a soft moan, a simple little sound, but one that was more embarrassing than he had ever meant it to be. He blushed, rubbing his cheeks as he cleared his throat.
One more time, this time followed by a moan and a different physical sensation. One that left him wide-eyed and humiliated as his cock started to grow. He stopped immediately, covering his crotch with his hands.
“What the fuck did you do?"
A simple deterrent. Pain and discomfort did not work, but the humiliation of pleasure seems to be quite effective.
“You're gonna make me feel turned on if I try and talk about you?"
The gold-and-white Mewtwo shrugged slightly, its head tilting to the side with an amused smirk on its muzzle.
It seems to work.
“Asshole. I swear, there's gotta be some way to talk about you. Someone's got to be told."
Keep trying. I encourage my underlings to find loopholes. In the meantime, I will continue rearranging my new home.
“Wait, wait, time-out. What the fuck are you talking about?"
My new home.
“That's the part that I don't understand. Hell, why the – why the FUCK am I even listening to you? How the hell did you even get here? You're not real."
I am as real as you. I simply come from somewhere else.
“That's not an answer! I need a fucking answer, or I'm going to freak the fucking fuck out!"
You are getting louder. Be quiet.
He felt a touch in his head again, this time nudging his volume down. Fred strained to shout again, but the next words that came out of his mouth were little more than whispers, forcing him to try and shout just to speak normally.
“Where did you come from?"
That's better. The Mewtwo considered the couch for a moment, then shifted it over to lay on its side, the bottom of it pressed against one of the walls by the windows. I come from the world of other Pokémon. The one that you remember in your head from your childhood, as a matter of fact.
“Bullshit."
I do not lie. But there was a mistake. A few godly interactions. Legendaries that were getting too big for their place. Some were cast out. He shrugged again. I was one of them. And now, I have to make a place for myself.
“And you picked here? Here, of all places?"
It seemed comfortable enough.
“Can you stop? Can you just…stop?"
Fred's head was spinning, but not as much as the furniture in the room. His TV, his computer, his desk, his chairs, his table, everything was levitating around him, and he kept having to take steps forward and back to avoid getting bumped by the big, heavy things. Mewtwo, to his credit, did bring it all to a stop, leaving it floating in mid-air.
He took a few deep breaths, holding his head in his hands as he slowly slumped to the ground. This…this was beyond insane. He should have come home to some quiet, maybe a bit of yapping from the upstairs neighbor dog, but that was the extent of it. He wasn't supposed to be dealing with this level of bullshit outside of his job. He should have been putting things together for clients, or having some fun with some porn, or playing a game. Not welcoming an extra-dimensional visitor to his apartment as a long-term guest.
He swore that something else had been done in his head, because he wasn't freaking out anymore. If anything, he was calming down a little bit, gradually coming back to the world at large, but he knew that there was something wrong. Something in his head kept him from even thinking about saying Mewtwo's name, or species, or that there was a Pokémon in his apartment. For a moment, he was able to think about calling the police about an intruder, but that was taken from him a second later.
Loopholes must always be pointed out, the psychic said.
“Can't you stay out of my head?"
You are a walking loudspeaker of thoughts. There is no way not to hear you.
“Fucking great."
Groaning, Fred pulled his legs to his chest and leaned his forehead against his knees. Pulling himself into a tight ball shut out the rest of the world for the moment, but he knew that he couldn't stay here. Sooner or later, he would need to deal with the bullshit that had just invaded his life, and he didn't look forward to it.
Family was no longer an option, either. He knew that they'd be questioning this, and if he didn't provide something to back up why he had dropped out of their lives, they'd start reporting him, pushing authorities to check in on him. There was already that whole suspicion about being a dealer since he did that one little favor for a friend that happened to be a real dealer, and they'd call the cops on him if he didn't explain things properly.
Don't worry about them.
Fred blinked.
“What are you talking about?"
I'll take care of the things in your life.
“But…but they'll ask."
And I'll ensure that they believe what you tell them.
“…Why?"
Mewtwo arched an eyebrow. Fred shook his head.
“I'm not going to back down here. I need to know what the fuck is going on."
No. You don't. You just have to do what you're told.
“Yeah? And what happens when I finally figure out a loophole, huh? What happens when I'm at work and you aren't there to stop me?"
Work?
“Yeah. Work. I'll be out of the house regularly."
…
If it was possible, he swore that there was a look of concern on the creature's face. Perhaps there was a power imbalance that Mewtwo didn't want to tell him about. Perhaps there was something that the psychic wasn't powerful enough to squash.
He was just starting to smile when Mewtwo shook its head, dismissing his happiness with a wave of its hand.
Don't flatter yourself. I need…help…and you're best suited for it with a modicum of free will.
“…"
But I will make it worth your while, if it is required to keep you from fighting my restraints. What will it take?
“What do you mean, what will it take?"
What will it take to satisfy you? What will it take to keep you working for me willingly? I believe there is a concept called money, yes?
“…Yes, that would be appreciated."
You continually think of the sum 'one million.' Will a tenth of that be sufficient for a starter payment?
“How the hell –"
Mewtwo's eyes glowed. The gold light that filled them spread through the apartment. For a second, he swore that his own head was filled with the gold light as well, but then the feeling disappeared. It was replaced with the sound of a hundred little dings, his phone going crazy with sudden alerts and alarms.
Fred pulled it out of his pocket, confused beyond measure until he managed to get it open. The list of paypal payments pouring in flooded the screen, and then poured off it as more and more kept appearing. He shook his head in astonishment, his eyes barely registering the numbers as more and more popped up.
“What did you do?"
An encouragement to donate. They will not miss the funds that they have given.
“How…"
A little nudge. Barely a mild exertion of my powers.
A mild exertion? The Pokémon had just handed him enough money to keep him in this crappy little apartment for another decade, as well as keep him fed for a long time. He shook his head, almost falling backwards from his fetal position.
The power of the Mewtwo was vast, he knew that much from his childhood memories, but this was something different. This was something far more intense and useful than he'd expected. He had just gone from broke to wealthy in the space of a few seconds, all because Mewtwo wanted to keep him quiet.
Not that he could spill the beans easily, but it was something. It was something. It was fucking something.
“I guess…I guess that's enough to keep me quiet. For now."
Then you will work for me.
There was no question there, just a statement. Fred nodded, rubbing the back of his head as he slowly dragged himself to his feet. The feeling of having a new roommate, one that could completely warp his brain, was hard to wrap his head around, but he knew that he needed to figure out some way to be good with it, and soon. He groaned, shaking his head a few times as he turned towards the front door.
Where are you going?
“Out. I need to think."
Do not speak of me.
“Unless I'm buying a hooker, I don't plan to."

Being out at the bar was a strange sensation. Fred hadn't been out for years, not since he'd had to work so many hours just to keep his apartment. Now, knowing that he could go into work in the morning and quit with that much in the bank…
He almost wanted to call his boss right there and then, put in his resignation and not have to worry about waking up early in the morning, but he didn't. It was a risk that would be stupid to take, just in case this was a dream. If it was, if he was just seeing things, then he would just have one bad night of sleep before getting back into the daily routine.
But if it was true…
He shook his head, sipping at a beer before putting the bottle back down.
“I have a…"
He tried to say Mewtwo, but the conditioning was still there. His cock swelled as he tried to force the word pass his lips, and a little moan that he barely managed to stifle in the bottle escaped him. Groaning as he put it back down, he slowly slid his head down into his hands.
What even happened? What am I going to do?
He didn't remember much from playing the game as a kid, but he remembered that Mewtwo was a Pokémon that had been created rather than born, something that had been processed and built as a weapon. But that was the original one. What was this gold thing in his apartment? What did it want?
It couldn't have been him, and it couldn't be just that apartment. If it wanted something like that, it could have gone for one of the better ones on the top floor or in a different building. It could have gone for one of the empty penthouses.
Hell, for that matter, Fred could afford one of those penthouses, though he doubted he'd buy one. There was something about…
He shook his head. He wasn't thinking clearly, and he blamed it on the beer. He needed to let himself sober up and think through things properly. If he didn't, then he would be in deep shit when the time came to deal with all these problems.
The barman came by, taking his bottle from him. Fred pulled out his wallet, slapping down a hundred-dollar bill on the bar.
“The hell?"
“The channel's finally taking off."
“Geez. Good for you, Fred. How much change you want?"
He shrugged.
“Take it all. I'm feeling good tonight."
“Hell, if you're tipping like that, you want anything to go?"
“Not really. Thanks, though."
“You got it."
The barman walked away, and Fred made his way out. He had to go and talk to his new roommate some more. He figured that they needed to lay down some rules, particularly if he was going to have any furniture at all.
#
“What do you mean I have to sleep upside-down?!"
Fred stared at the bed that seemed to have psychically bolted itself to the ceiling. The blankets were in a similar position, and he could hardly believe that this was even a thing.
Mewtwo shrugged under it, reaching out for him. Fred held up his arms, shaking his head, but he was soon trapped in the psychic grip of his roommate, lifted up in the air and pressed to the bed.
You should be able to sleep like this.
“Yeah, no, that's not going to happen."
You believe that I will let you fall?
“I believe all my goddamn blood is going to rush to my head!"
Is this a problem for your species?
“Well, we're not bats! Or…Zubats, or whatever they're called."
Once more, he felt the rooting around in his head, the feeling of files and drawers being opened. It was still very uncomfortable, but at least he was lowered back to the floor.
You are…correct, unfortunately.
“I might not know about you, but I know basic biology of humans…fuck…"
I will find a way to make this work.
“What the hell are you doing with my furniture, anyway?"
That is my business.
“In my apartment?"
Allow me to correct you: our apartment.
“Ass."
I certainly have one, but I am not one.
Fred groaned, shaking his head.
“Look. You know that I have to live here. I don't know what you're doing with my furniture, or why you're moving it around, but I still have to have a place to sit. I have to have a place to eat. And I need a place to sleep that's actually on the goddamn floor!"
You are correct regarding this. I will take that into account.
“So will you put my bed on the ground already?"
…
Mewtwo gestured up, pulling his mattress and bedframe down until it was resting on the ground once more. It was still ruffled, but it was better than trying to sleep in it while he was hanging from the blankets, desperately afraid of falling to the floor and not able to sleep in the wrong direction.
Shaking his head, he sat on the foot of the bed, rubbing his eyes. The mystery of the furniture aside, it was more difficult to get on with the idea that he was not equal in his own home. He needed to figure out how he was going to equalize things between himself and Mewtwo, or he was going to go mad.
Surprisingly, Mewtwo sat down beside him, the Pokémon giving him a hesitant pat on the arm with his three-fingered hand.
You will adjust.
“I don't want to adjust. I just want…"
Shall I return your funds?
Fred growled under his breath. He needed that money, and it was the only thing that was currently making him okay with keeping Mewtwo around. If he didn't have that…
He looked at the Pokémon again. He had to be imagining it, but he swore that there was some sympathy there, some understanding that he hadn't seen before. Almost…gentleness, in a way.
Then it faded.
I will do what it takes to make this place mine. But I will try and take your needs into account, as well.
“Well…thank you for that much, at least."
AROOOOOOOOOO!
Fred flopped back on the bed, hands covering his ears.
“Fucking Christ, not again."
That is a most displeased howl.
“It's the upstairs neighbor."
It seems a remarkably loud sound for a human to make.
“Upstairs neighbor's dog," Fred correct himself, grumbling. “The damn thing keeps barking all night long. Biggest pest in the universe."
Hmm.
Mewtwo gestured towards the ceiling, eyes going gold once more. A second later, the howling stopped, broken into silence. Fred blinked.
“What did you do?"
I made him forget how to howl.
“You can do that?"
I can do many things to a mind.
He didn't know whether to take that as a threat or as assurance of the Pokémon's abilities. Either way, the psychic had just become a great deal scarier.
That said, the lack of howling was an intense relief. There had been many nights when the little rat dog upstairs had kept him awake until well into the early hours of the morning. The neighbor never seemed bothered, whether through deafness or something else, but he knew that such an effort would be appreciated by most people in the apartment building.
Mewtwo was still looking back at him, and he blushed.
“Uh, could I have some privacy?"
Why?
“Well, I'm going to bed…"
And?
“I tend not to sleep with clothes on."
…And?
“Humans don't tend to stare at each other when undressing."
That is not borne out by your memories.
Gold light, and said memories were suddenly flashing before his eyes.
Fred groaned, trying and failing to cover his eyes as the images passed through his mind. Times at the local gym where he had looked across the honor line at the girls behind him. Times at the swimming pool when he'd ogled others changing into their swimming costumes. Porn. Lots and lots and lots of porn that he had watched over his life, and all of it showing very, very naked people.
And strip clubs. That too.
“Alright, alright, enough!"
He desperately swept his hands through the air in front of him, as if that would dispel the summoned memories. Either it did or Mewtwo finally had mercy, because the people disappeared. He shook his head.
“Look. That's for…different occasions. And…wait…"
There was a smirk on the psychic's face. Fred groaned.
“You're…you're actually messing with me here, aren't you?"
Possibly.
“Then you'll turn around? Leave? Something?"
No. But…I will allow you to forget I'm here.
“Forget –"
The light pushed into his head, and this time, it didn't just rustle through the thoughts in his head. It reached into one of the files, pulled out one of the pages, and just…made it disappear.
When the light faded, Fred groaned, opening his eyes. He stared straight ahead, swearing that there had been something there, someone…but no. Nothing. Yeah, the furniture was floating again, but there was nothing there, nobody making it happen.
Shouldn't that be weird? he thought. …Nah. It just…does that sometimes?
Unconvinced, but too tired to care, Fred pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it into the corner. His pants followed, and his underwear did, too. He groaned, stretching his arms over his head, rolling his neck from side to side as he walked around the bed to the left side, same side as always.
He was just getting under the covers when he swore he felt something against his dick. Something…different, like a hand, except with the wrong number of fingers. He looked down, cocking his head to the side. Something seemed to be pulling his cock out a bit, a little tug on it as if it was being stretched out, but he had barely seen it stretched out before it flopped back down to his thigh.
Weird…
Fred shook his head, sliding himself further into bed and pulling the blankets over him. He was just getting comfortable when he felt a 'snap' in his head –
“GAH!"
And Mewtwo was suddenly standing beside him again. His memories returned, reminded that the powerful psychic had been there the whole time, and his cheeks burned as he realized that he'd just been stared at, even groped as he was examined.
“You son of a –"
Goodnight, Fred.
The gold light came, and for the first time, Fred tried to resist. He tried to throw all his mental willpower against the surging light, trying to stay awake and show that he wasn't just a puppet or a toy. He strained, pushing himself until he had a migraine of a headache.
But it was all for nothing. He was pushed back down, his mind tucked in as quickly as his body had been, and his eyes were nudged closed. The darkness of sleep crept over him, dragging him down into oblivion, and soon he was kept pinned beneath the darkness.
Hmmph...fine...I'll let him stay for now...but just for now...as long as he keeps...paying…
He slipped into dreamland, strangely dreaming of golden Mewtwos.
