Reverse Binding For Magnus Strange By Draconicon
Magnus, Lord of Corruption, Demon of Desire, and many other titles besides, often had people thinking that they could enslave him. He knew that there were no bounds to mortal ambition, and an inverse proportion of mortal sense when it came to such matters. Even when they were well below his level, working with outdated texts and uninformed sources, they still believed they could make him a servant like some lesser imp.
So it was not with great surprise that he found himself in the middle of a forest clearing one evening. Some small wonder, perhaps - there were few enough even capable of summoning him, in this late age - but no great surprise.
The alligator demon slowly stood up from the ground, resisting the roots that his summoners pulled from the forest around him to hold him in place. Even as they wrapped around his legs, he shrugged them off, letting them rise again before burning them apart with nothing but a thought. As he idly allowed his magic to destroy them as they raised repeatedly, he looked over those that had risen to such arrogance.
There were not many, which was a surprise in and of itself. Magnus expected an entire cult, perhaps even a circle of power, but instead, there were merely four. Four individuals not even dressed adequately for summoning someone of his stature.
Have their texts fallen into such disrepair that they think they can do whatever they want these days? he wondered as he looked between them. Two wolf brothers stood at the front of the group, growling and arguing with each other, while at the rear, a shark and dragon seemed to be doing most of the work. The dragon's hands glowed with a green light, doubtlessly the one controlling and growing the roots, while the shark was muttering to himself, his hands immersed in a blue glow.
Magnus guessed that it was a holy spell, something designed to 'destroy' him if he got out of hand. The demon chuckled, shaking his head slightly. He had more power in one scale than any of these mortals did, and he doubted that they understood the peril that they had placed themselves in.
Still, perhaps he could entertain himself for a while. It had been years since he'd had good sport. Now, what was the language of the time...
"I see that someone has found my name in the old texts again. Congratulations."
One of the wolves whipped around, pointing the finger at him.
"Shut up. We're not done talking here."
"You think that this is a time for talking, then?"
Magnus lifted a hand, and the ground around him darkened, twisting to black and red as his power oozed through his feet. The terrain warped, corrupted to a dark reflection of his realm, and the roots died before they could rise again, the death sliding through them to a tree behind him. The corruption continued to slip through, transforming it from a lush green plant to something dark and shimmering, writhing around as it took on a new, perverted life. Branches stretched out, stroking the other trees and spreading it along, and the scent of something...different...filled the air.
It didn't take long for the edge of the clearing around them to be utterly transformed, branches reaching down and blocking off all exits. Magnus had barely even had to lift a finger, and such things were done.
The wolves backed away, the one that had shouted at him, calling out to the shark to do something. The other, looking worried, fell to his knees.
"Please, great Magnus, have mercy upon us. My brother and I were merely trying an experiment. We do not wish -"
"What is your name, wolf?"
"My name is Charles. He is -"
"Don't tell him my name, idiot!"
Magnus could feel the earth shifting beneath him, another spell coming together. He knew it for what it was immediately. A binding spell, weak, but attempting to pull his powers to their command. Doubtlessly, the shark knew it was their only chance of escape.
Heh...try that, little mortal. Try that.
He let the spell touch him, feeling his power touch it in return. Magnus crossed his arms as the shark's magic was tainted on contact, taking a deep breath of satisfaction as he 'saw' the magic darken, going from blue to red in seconds.
The shark fell to his knees, groaning as the inner corruption began to reflect itself on the outside. Smirking as the robes came flying apart as the shark gained red lines down his body, a golden glow in his eyes, and a slow but steady increase in muscles, Magnus turned to the other three.
A step forward darkened the ground, as did another step. Magnus laid his hand on the kneeling Charles, patting him on the head.
"You will be dealt with last. Make your peace, if you wish; I haven't decided what I will do with you just yet."
The other two continued to backpedal, with the dragon doing it slower than the wolf. He smiled, knowing one of them would turn and run. It was only a matter of which one would lose control first.
Which one, which one? Will it be the dragon that ends up swinging from the tentacle trees, his mouth stuffed, and his ass trained by the plants? Or will it be this stubborn brother, who can't even imagine losing?
It was the dragon. Perhaps he thought that his magic would be sufficient to get him through the forest, or maybe he thought he could take to the sky. In both cases, he was wrong. Black tendrils reached out and grabbed him, and as the shreds of jeans and t-shirt hit the ground, he was wrapped in a cocoon of the dark, slimy branches, his body flooded with the power of corruption.
Magnus stood in front of the other wolf, towering over him as he chuckled.
"So, last of the summoners. What do you have to put against me?"
The wolf growled, reaching into his pocket. Anticipating something along the lines of a gun or something else of this modern era, he was surprised to see a ring with a diamond in it be pulled free. An eye ridge went up as the wolf put it on, and whispered something -
A sudden tugging came from the diamond, and Magnus's eyes went a bit wider.
"Well, now...a ring of sealing. I haven't seen one of those in some time."
"You won't see it again! If I can't bind you to real service, then I'll just seal your power!"
"...A respectable effort."
He groaned as he had to fight against the power that was sucking him in finally. The diamond had been treated well; he hadn't felt such strength in some time, and if the clearing had been properly warded against corruption, against his power, it could easily have been enough to bind him.
As it was, he was forced to corrupt the land beneath him, sinking his legs into it to avoid being pulled in, and even then, he could feel it sapping at his power, sucking bits and pieces of it into its core. Without his direction, it was weakening him.
I had not expected this...
Magnus grunted as he felt his power slipping from him and shook his head. He would have to expend much more than he intended...but it would have greater rewards at the same time.
The demon stretched out his hands and grabbed hold of the wolf's ring. The wolf's face of triumph turned into a look of shock as Magnus started pushing his power directly into the ring...or rather, into the band around it.
"What are you doing?!"
"What anyone being bound would do. Saving themselves."
"You can't corrupt -"
"I'm not. I'm just...changing it."
He grunted as he felt his power drain, almost half of it sucked into the ring before he could change it enough to alter the spell. He had to hide a gasp as it suddenly filtered back, turning not to bind and seal demonic power...but to bind and corrupt those of mortal integrity.
The feeling of magic spreading through the clearing was an immensely fulfilling sensation. He could feel the fire beneath it, the crackling sense of demonic energy. The wolf was the first to succumb, and Magnus watched as his eyes were pulled back, and then left glazed as his mind and will be left subject to the ring.
He wiggled the ring free, carrying it in the palm of his hand as he walked through the clearing. The spell hit the shark next, taking the feral rage in his eyes and leaving him still and quiet, a willing slave to the ring, his cocks standing out tall and strong. He smiled, patting the shark on the head, and turned to the edge of the clearing.
The dragon was on all fours, getting fucked up the ass by two tentacles, then three from the branches. There was no need to seal him away; he was already broken, already made into exactly what Magnus wanted.
That left only Charles.
He walked back to the other wolf and looked down at him. The wolf looked back up, not begging for mercy, but merely offering an apology with his eyes.
It was enough.
"I believe you should see what you summoned me from."
"You're taking me...with you?"
"I'm taking all of you with me. After all, this is not my realm, and will not stay mine for long. The mortal world is ever-changing, beyond the power of any demon to entirely alter."
"And...my fate?"
"That, I think, I will leave up to your willpower. What you choose at the end of your stay will be your choice. I will not change it for your honesty. But who knows what my servants might do..."
Charles slowly nodded, and Magnus knew that it wasn't just a good deal that drew the wolf in. It was a curiosity that all mages shared--the need to know the unknowable.
It would be his downfall, as it was all mages.
With a wave of his hand, Magnus opened another portal, and after sending his new slaves and companion through, he stepped through himself and closed it behind him, leaving a ring of hell trees for mortals to gawk at for the next few days.
The End
