The Dragon of legend

A commission

It is said in books and stories that dragons are immortal creatures. Not in the sense that they can't be killed, but rather that they will not die of old age. That which saps the strength of youth from humans, dwarves and even the long lived elves does not trouble a dragon, indeed they seem to only grow larger and more powerful with age. Within the breast of each dragon is a shining jewel of immense value, coveted by any who wish to call themselves dragon slayer. The size and lustre of the jewel can be used as a marker to estimate the age of the slain dragon.

Some philosophers posit that this is the source of the age old conflict between dragons and the mortal races of the world. That we hunt them out of envy, hating them for their timeless and enduring bodies. However, any farmer with the misfortune to live near a dragon's nest will tell you a different story, of talons in the night snatching up cattle for snacks, wing-beats that shake the rafters should they pass too close on their hunts.

And of course, dragons do not keep their predations to farmland either, once a dragon's territory is well established they begin to grow their hoard, piles of stolen gold, jewels and items of value. Its said that as dragons grow older they hoard increasingly esoteric items. One account of the centuries old dragon known as Nidfulgar includes descriptions of fine art and statues carefully arranged to decorate the entrance to his lair.

Its thought that a dragon's hoard is used both as a status symbol and a way to attract mates, demonstrating one's talent both in displaying the acquired treasure and the strength needed to acquire it. Unfortunately for the dragons, this oft proves to be their downfall, taking a castle by surprise and absconding with its treasury may be an easy way to fill ones hoard but the ire of the castles lord oft manifests in heroes sent to slay the beast.

“Such is to be the grim fate of all dragons, ultimately doomed by their own greed and arrogance.” Drevran concluded, closing 'the illuminated guide to the history of dragons' with a satisfying thump and tucking the book away in his satchel. He had his party were camped in a small cave partway up the side of the highest mountain in the Everwyrm Mountain range.

Prince Drevran von Kalhurst, fourth in line for the crown of the wealthy kingdom of Mardresh as well as the founder and leader of the Golden Blades, a group of adventurers famed throughout the kingdom for their monster slaying prowess. Within the palace he had always been looked down upon, no matter his accomplishments or deeds he lived forever in the shadow of his siblings. Forever forth in succession, barely worth acknowledging. Thus it was only natural that he sought fame beyond the golden throne, carving out his own legend as a slayer of great beasts and earning the admiration of his people. Tomorrow would be his greatest achievement and cement him in legend. To be the one to slay The Everwyrm, he and his companions would be talked about as legends for all of history!

The prince garbed himself in the finest enchanted armour his royal wealth and good name could purchase, a dazzling golden suit that sparkled in the firelight and set with magical gems that fortified it. He wielded an enchanted flamberge with two rubies set in the guard like the eyes of a hungry serpent.

“You know, come tomorrow they'll have to pick a new name for this place.” Zaeless chuckled, between bites of his evening meal. “Maybe if you put in a good word with your dad they'll name it after us.” he said with a teasing smirk.

When the prince had first set out to found the Golden Blades, he had gone to the finest adventurers guild in the capital wanting only the best to join him. That had been his first eye opener. The best adventurers had no need of his wealth or good name and laughed him away for being inexperienced.

He tried many guilds that day and had considered giving up on his dream before it even began until he met Zaeless at a guild bar, a drunken brawler bemoaning his prized axe lost in a wager. The two commiserated and with the promise of a new Axe the Golden Blades had its second member. In time Zaeless Proved himself a reliable and vicious fighter, if still a poor gambler.

Much like the prince, Zaeless favoured a large and heavy weapon, opting for a greataxe, adept at severing limbs and heads alike but he opted for lighter chain mail armor, and nowhere near as ostentatious as the prince's suit.

“You joke, but the king may decide to do just that. Have you any idea the wealth The Everwyrm has plundered from your people? If the stories are true we may need a hundred wagons to bring it home.” Tiana chimed in.

The last member of the Golden Blades, Tiana was an elf, attracting a lot of attention in the predominantly human kingdom of Mardresh. She had arrived chasing a jewel thief who had stolen a prized possession of hers and ran across Drevran and Zaeless who were in pursuit of the same thief. They had gotten to know each other during the hunt and Tiana had eventually decided to join the Golden Blades after the recovery of her necklace.

Tiana, unlike the hulking brutes she had teamed up with used two light scimitars and leather armour. Her fighting style had been likened to dancing by the few who saw her work and survived, a comparison which she was quite fond of. There was a certain elegance to battle if one knew where to look! She was a master of subtlety and poisons, striking unseen and finishing many opponents before they even knew she was upon them.

The dawn would herald a new age of prosperity and fame for the Golden Blades, the trio were certain of it.

The Great Terror, City Breaker, Gold miser, The Merciless Death, Ruiner, Pillager, all these and many more. Should an adventurer properly research all the titles and monikers he'd accrued over two millennia they were liable to collapse from exhaustion before they could read them all aloud. As entertaining as that might prove to be to watch however, such a complete tome, or volume of tomes now only existed in one place in the whole of the world, within the lair of Yl'Karva himself, or The Old Everwyrm as he was oft called these days. Some may call him vain for it, and he certainly was, but how could one resist the allure of writing down new titles as various heroes and warriors awarded them to him with their grand challenges and speeches.

He liked this latest kingdom, the Mardreshi, how could he not? They had named the whole mountain range after him, that was proper recognition. And they coveted gold almost as much as he did. It was just a shame they couldn't protect theirs very well. These Mardreshi kings and lords had made sizable unwilling contributions to his hoard, a massive pile of wealth that had grown so large he had, over the centuries created new branches of the massive cave system he'd initially discovered, using these offshoots to store his less impressive hauls and gross excess of coins.

One might say to themselves, how could you have too many coins?! And The Everwyrm would agree, for certainly the old dragon loved each one dearly. However when some would be challenger arrived to forfeit their lives he wanted to present a certain image, an aura of power and sophistication, not be wedged against the ceiling in a room with more gold than air. Thus now his finest treasures were carefully situated among the mountains of wealth and Yl'Karva could rest luxuriously atop them all without being cramped.

Truly no dragon could hope to have a hoard as vast or valuable as his, why none lived long enough to even begin to collect what he had. Lesser dragons oft fell prey to the mortal races but for one who had lived as long as he, no mere metal or magic could hope to pierce his fine emerald scales, hardened by millennia of battle and victory.

Today he had visited the valleys below the mountains, regular trips were required to maintain one's imposing presence and reputation after all and had selected a few choice cattle to bring back for his meal. Yl'Karva picked up the last one, roasting it with a burst of flame before tossing it into his great maw.

As the vast entrance to the dragon's lair loomed before them, the trio sat down to go over the plan once more.

“The scales on the underbelly are the soft point for dragons, they're usually lighter in colour, focus your attacks there and we'll be able to inflict some real damage.” Tiana explained, of course they had covered this information many times before but reminders never hurt.

“Zaeless, when we get in there you grab his attention, make a distraction we'll go for the belly. If we're lucky I'll pierce something vital and this will be a short battle, otherwise keep on your guard, check your fire charms are all in order and watch out for the tail, I've heard they can get a pretty good sweep with it.

“Understood, let's get this done! The Golden Blades will go down in history for sure!” Zaeless grinned, fingering the glowing firestone around his neck. All three wore one, an expensive purchase from an enchanter in the capital but while wearing one you could grasp a pot fresh from the fire and not feel a thing or even put your hand right into the flames with little more than some singed arm hairs.

The trio made their way into the lair, unable to help but glance to the sides at the piles of skulls, shattered weapons and armour rent with large gashes. It was an intimidating display to be certain but many such fiends decorated their lairs like this, it wouldn't dissuade them.

The cave gradually began to slope downward, the floor rubbed smooth by the frequent passage of The Old Everwyrm's scaly belly. Torches were at the ready but the deeper they ventured... the brighter it became... dozens of sunsticks of various styles and makes had been set into the walls to act as permanent torches.

“Dragons... Can see in the dark can't they?” Drevran asked eventually, looking to his companions as the slope began to level out.

They however weren't looking at him, eyes locked forwards on the room ahead of them.

“Of course I can see in the dark, but then how would YOU see ME!” A deep, booming voice proclaimed. “Torches are so limiting, how would you appreciate the grandeur, the presentation!” The Old Everwyrm chuckled, stirring atop the mountain of gleaming treasures.

It was huge, how could something so large even be alive?! The massive green dragon slowly uncoiled from around its treasure sending coins flying around the room as its great forelegs slammed into the pile, long neck snaking down to be closer to eye level, however even just its head was easily bigger than Drevran.

“Where's the fun in simply killing you as you stumble around blind in the dark? Takes all the fun out of it. And I do hope you make it fun, after all that's been your whole reason for living, this moment, to die for my amusement.” Yl'Karva chuckled, smoke billowing from his snout with his amusement.

“Hah! Fiend, your days of tormenting the kingdom are at an and, I shall slay you and bring your head back to mount in the castle!” Drevran challenged, drawing his blade and holding it aloft.

“Ugh, fiend? Don't you have anything better than that? Do you know how many people have called me fiend before? How boring!” The dragon groaned, vibrations from his voice rattling the coins his throat rested upon.

Drevran stumbled, of all the things he had prepared for in this fight he hadn't expected his heroic challenge to be critiqued...

“Enough jabbering! Let us fight!” he bellowed, raising his blade and rushing forwards toward the dragon's head, if he could stab it in the eye, blind the beast, this would be simple.

While the dragon and Drevran bickered, Tiana casually slipped around the side of the massive pile of treasures, she needed to find an opening to strike at its belly!

As the prince charged, closing the distance between him and the dragon there came a rustling of coins and a whistle of wind, Tiana looked to her left and leapt at the last second, vaulting the thick tail of the beast as it swung around the dragon.

Drevran was not so lucky nor dexterous however as the tip of the tail slammed into his chest, interrupting his charge and sending him flying into the wall of the cave with a crunch, splinters of stone flying from the impact.

The prince blacked out for a moment, coming too against the wall, ears ringing, chest aching and the taste of blood in his mouth. It felt like at least a few ribs were broken... He coughed weakly. Zaeless was yelling for him... He raised his arm, giving a thumbs up before slumping back down.

“You bastard! You'll pay for that!” Zaeless called out, relieved that his friend was still breathing. He hefted his axe, ready to join the fight, but the dragon wasn't even looking at him, he seemed to be admiring the enchanted armour that Drevran wore.

“Hmm, durable and elegant... a fine example of Mardreshi smithing and enchanting... once I get you out of it it'll be a fine addition to my collection...” He mused, clearly pleased by the prospect of growing his hoard.

That lapse in concentration was going to cost him dearly! Zaeless wouldn't be underestimated! He closed the gap, hefting his axe in a brutal overhead chop aimed at the dragon's leg. The impact felt as though he had hit a slab of granite, but perhaps that wasn't accurate, Zaeless had oft carved rents in stones with his furious swings. The scales of this beast were unlike anything he'd seen before, the blade of his axe chipping, leaving his arms numb from the shock of the blow. He reeled backwards, staggering away as his axe dropped to the floor.

The Old Everwyrm turned to see what had happened, a smug chuckle filling the air as he rose up off the pile of treasure. “You call that an attack? How pathetic! As if you could ever hope to break one of my glorious scales.” He jeered, directing a blast of potent dragonfire at Zaeless. Not enough to kill him, but enough to make him wish it had.

As the ancient dragon rose and turned to Zaeless, Tiana saw her opening, striking upwards with her poisoned blades at his exposed underbelly in a flurry of slashes, each stroke of her blade sliding harmlessly off of his scales. She paused, changing her angle and thrusting forwards, focusing her attack to pierce instead of cut. Even if she could just get the tips in the poison would start doing its work. Again however her swords glanced off of his ample belly.

“Oho, that tickles! What do we have here? A cute little elf girl.” Yl'Karva mused, plucking her up from atop the pile of treasures, holding her with his claws and watching as she struggled. “I See! So that fool in the armour was a cunning distraction so you could sneak between my legs... Well I suppose it had been a while since I had pleasant company, you should really have just asked nicely though.” He brought his muzzle close to the elf girl, inhaling her scent and giving her a lick with his tongue.

With one hero busy dying, another scorched and the last captured this 'fight' was nicely wrapped up. And to the victor go the spoils. Yl'Karva rolled onto his side, delicately slicing through Tiana's leathers to expose her supple elvin figure with a claw. Laying on one side now, both Tiana and Zaeless could see two heavy testicles wrapped in gleaming emerald scales and a large sheath which gradually opened to show off a pink cock head.

Once fully engorged it was a mammoth thirty feet long, reaching nearly from his hind legs to fore. He brought the now naked elf down near the tip, allowing her a good whiff of his scent and the heat coming off of his shaft before pressing her firmly against his urethra, coating her with slick precum and then sliding her down his length, letting out a moan of pleasure as she struggled and squirmed.

“Mmh, take heart little elf, you are one of the lucky few privileged enough to service The Old Everwyrm!” He moaned happily as he pumped her up and down his cock, occasionally adjusting position to stimulate a different part, especially the sensitive glans below the tip, it made him dig his toes into the treasure with the pleasant sensations!

Zaeless staggered backwards as dragonfire enveloped him, it was hot! Hotter than anything he'd felt before. The charm around his neck flared bright, dissipating the worst of it and leaving him on his ass in a cloud of smoke and steam, dazed but mostly unhurt.

From his position against the rocky wall, Drevran knew he had to do something, had to get back to the action, couldn't just leave the fight to his friends... He fumbled in his satchel, grabbing a glass vial thankfully unbroken by his collision with the wall and popped the cork, draining the whole flask of sparkling red elixir. Almost instantly he felt the pain fading, new strength flooding his limbs and his vision cleared. That elixir had cost more than a commoner could hope to make in a lifetime, but right now it was worth every coin he'd paid.

As Drevrans vision cleared, he saw Zaeless' axe, broken on the ground, the dragon... the dragons... penis?... the horrid beast was grinding Tiana against its cock! How vile and disgusting!

He looked around for any sign of Zaeless and indeed spotted him, singed, steam coming off of him as he struggled to his feet. Drevran called out to him over the dragon's moans. “Distract him! I'll rescue Tiana.”

Zaeless didn't need to be told twice, he looked around, trying to think of what he could do to cause a suitable distraction while Drevran got to his feet and picked up his blade.

Tiana could feel the heat emanating from that massive cock, struggling as it was pushed against her, her soft breasts squishing firmly against it as she was moved up and down, pressed against the glans under the tip, even against and into his urethra, hot like a furnace as more than half her body was forced in before she was pulled out to start all over again!

She could feel that massive cock starting to twitch and pulse though, which if the dragon was anything like other men meant they were nearly done! But what did that mean for her?

Just as she was wondering what would happen next she heard a loud whistling that caught everyones attention.

Yl'Karva paused his session with the elf, turning his serpentine head to the source of the whistle, quirking an eyebrow as he saw Zaeless, not only alive but mostly unburned and entirely unclothed.

Hey Dragon dick! How do you like this dick!” The human shouted, gyrating his hips to helicopter his cock around while he made suggestive motions with his hands.

Elf momentarily forgotten, The Old Everwyrm burst out laughing, a deep, full body laugh that shook the caverns. “Never before have I been... taunted in such a fashion!” He chuckled, trying to quiet his giggles as he watched the show.

Zaeless had created an opening, if unconventionally, but Drevran wouldn't be giving the bards the specifics of this bit of their fight anyway! He Grabbed his Flamberge and rushed forwards thrusting it into the exposed length of the dragons cock. This time it hit home. Even piercing unprotected flesh felt like he had impacted with hardened leather but his blade slid inside, wavy shape cutting its way into the meat of the dragons cock. He'd done it!

“Oh? You're still alive too? How resilient!” Came a surprised voice as the dragon looked down between his legs. “And you've given me a new piercing... how vogue.” He mused, moving Tiana up and down again, faster now as he pleasured himself, cock twitching and pulsing as he climaxed, clenching tighter around Tiana, crushing her into his cock until bones snapped and the elf girl went limp. With his orgasm molten dragon seed blasted out, showering over Drevran, heating his armour. The charm around his neck glowed, fending off the heat as it got brighter and brighter, golden armour glowing until with the sound of glass shattering the charm hit its limit and exploded, marking a hot and creamy end to the fourth prince of Mardresh as he was baked in dragon cum.

Zaeless stared in horror, what had happened? He'd made the distraction like he'd been asked to... he looked at Drevran's sword, jammed into the dragons length, a trickle of blood running down its length and his armor, glowing hot where it wasn't submerged in cum and Tiara, limp in his grip, falling to the ground in a heap as he released her.

“I like you, funny man. I haven't laughed like that in a long time. Leave that fancy charm of yours and go before I change my mind.” He growled. “Tell everyone what you've seen this day, that none can best The Immortal Everwyrm.

Zaeless, knees trembling did as he was bid, tossing his firecharm at the pile of treasure and fleeing up the tunnel towards the entrance of the cave, the images burned into his mind as vividly as though by dragonfire.

As he returned to the nearby village, mourning the death of his friends and pondering his own survival one image in particular stood out in his mind. The blood trickling down the length of Drevran's blade. “If you can make god bleed, people will cease to believe in him.” He'd heard that somewhere before, perhaps on one of his infrequent trips to church? Or perhaps not, it didn't sound something a preacher would say... But it stuck with him.

True to The Old Everwyrm's request he spread the word far and wide, telling everyone he could of the dragon's weakness, even taking passage across the seas to spread the knowledge beyond the kingdom of Mardresh.

“You'll see, it'll be the last job we'll ever need to pull off, after this we could live like kings, better than kings, you heard what he said right? About the dragons weakspot, we can do it!” Vanessa urged.

A tall, dark elf, Vanessa garbed herself in black cloth adorned with stark white bones. She carried a sinister leather bound grimoire secured to her belt by a steel chain. Recently second in command of a vicious group of mercenaries, after a disagreement with her old boss and a bloody round of infighting she had found herself claiming the title of leader.

While having most of one's army killed in a pyrrhic victory would be a severe blow to most mercenaries it hadn't phased Vanessa, in fact it had been something of a boon. A master of arts forbidden in most god worshipping kingdoms she had simply reanimated her fallen soldiers, raising ghouls, skeletons and zombies as she pleased, which significantly reduced her payroll expenditure.

Since then, she and her few surviving lieutenants had been travelling the continent, taking odd jobs from unscrupulous lords and merchants to fill her war chest and most importantly to her, honing her dark craft.

It seemed most necromancers were satisfied to animate humans, but why? They were weak, brittle and boring. One of her earlier great successes was with a bear, a hulking undead beast that could break soldiers lines and spirits alike with a deadly charge. Horses came next, animals that could travel day and night without rest and take a lance through the chest without flinching.

After that she and her undead company had crossed the sea to Mardresh, evidently a missing prince had caused some strife with one of the neighbouring kingdoms, plunging both into a bloody war. It had been a lucrative business for Vanessa though, growing her purse and forces.

“You're really determined aren't you? Didn't you hear the part where he failed? The dragon is still alive. Why would we risk our lives on the wild ramblings of some drunken old man in a tavern?” Wrin grumbled, getting tired of having this conversation every few weeks. “Is this why you wanted to cross the sea in the first place? We've made plenty of coin fighting for the Mardreshi.” Wrin grumbled.

Ever cautious, Wrin hadn't survived as long as he had in a mercenary company by being brash and reckless, he left that to the new recruits and the zombies they became. He fought from a distance, a skilled archer who prided himself on picking off leaders and important foes before they could become a problem in battle. He wore a necklace of teeth, trophies taken from his victims as memento's.

“Look, I didn't bring us here JUST to kill the dragon, the war has been profitable but think about it. We've already animated the giant lizards from the desert, imagine an undead dragon, nothing could stop it or us!”

“You're putting the cart before the horse!” Ullia chimed in, pouting as Wrin and Vanessa bickered. “We can't reanimate the dragon unless we kill it first, and it's so old they named a mountain after it.”

Not every task a lord wanted accomplished need be done by brute force alone, Ullia was a woman of many talents, quick witted, talented at getting into places she shouldn't and good at extracting information from men, be it through seduction or torture. This made her a valuable addition to the command hierarchy, what little remained that wasn't reanimated.

“Not just a mountain, the whole mountain range.” Wrin corrected.

“Yes yes, but we know its weakness, all we need to do is to have Ullia get him all hot and bothered, and then when it's guard is down the undead legion will attack and carve it to shreds! It's not like the undead dragon will need one anyway.”

“Wrin, you know how stubborn she is, she'll never shut up about it until we got kill the stupid dragon, Its a decent plan, i bet he's all kinds of pervy if he's as old as they say. And I'm good with old men, you know that.” Ullia decided.

With a sigh Wrin shook his head in defeat. “Well if you two are set on it and think we stand a chance...”

Words he had come to regret over the coming weeks as they travelled through the damnable mountains up to the dragon's lair. Carriages were no use in the rugged terrain so they went by horseback, and then on foot up the worst of it until they stood before the maw of the cave.

Ullia was first inside, skipping passed the various bones and bodies of fallen adventurers. After spending so long around Vanessa, death lost some of its mystery, she'd seen grislier sights on her way to the mess hall in the war camp.

Ullia soon arrived at the great central chamber of the cave and looked up at the treasure and the dragon resting atop it.

Yl'Karva opened one eye, looking down at the woman standing in his lair. “Well?” He growled, quirking an eyebrow as he examined her. “You forgot your weapon, how do you plan to slay me?” He scoffed.

“Ooh? I'm not here to slay the dragon! I'm here to lay the dragon! There's been rumours going around that you have a thing for human girls!” She said, swaying her hips as she walked closer. “I've never been with a dragon before! Think you could show me what you got? I'd be happy to return the favour...” She said, gripping the hem of her top, lifting it enough to show her pierced navel. She'd dressed in a wide variety of gold and jewels to hopefully help entice him.

Hah! So you've come here to fool around? What a novel goal!” The dragon laughed “You've risked quite a lot to get here, the mountains are no easy journey, I suppose I can humour you... for now.” He agreed, rearing up on his hind legs to present a more imposing figure for the little human, his heavy belly sagging downwards with the new shift in posture. “Well? You first little one, i'll want some encouragement!”

Hah! Jackpot! Underneath all those scales he wasn't so different from any other old man, they all liked attention from beautiful young women! “Oh! I'd be happy to show off!” She giggled, batting her eyes at him as she pulled her top off, revealing a modestly sized but nonetheless appealing chest and pierced nipples. She gyrated and swayed as she disrobed, paying attention to his sheath, she could see the tip of his cock starting to peak out and by the time she had finished her strip tease the dragon was nice and hard. “Oh! Its so big!” She coo'd, playing up her charm as much as she could while pressing on the ring on her finger, a simple enchantment that sent a glowing signal to its matched pair. All she had to do now was keep him distracted until Vanessa and Wrin arrived.

“There's the signal! She's done it.” Vanessa said, waving her menagerie of minions forwards into the cave while Wrin followed close behind.

Could they really do this Vanessa certainly seemed to believe so. He glanced around at the various assembled creatures. All of her fiercest were certainly there as well as plenty of foot soldiers. He knocked an arrow to his bow as the cave opened up, within he could see Ullia dancing for the perverted old dragon while he stroked himself atop a pile of treasure larger than Wrin had ever imagined.

“Aaaah! Now the crux of the plan comes together, a distraction while you got your forces arrayed? What a stupid and foolish move, you could have simply marched them in while i slept rather than waking me with a distraction. Not that it will make any difference in the end.” Yl'Karva growled as he looked down at the assembled force.

“Your time has come Dragon of Legend, I Vanessa Blackheart shall strike you down and your corpse shall serve me forevermore!” She proclaimed, voice echoing with conviction around the cave.

“Another necromancer? And this is all you brought? Bylar the brilliant at least thought to bring lesser undead dragons when he tried to kill me. You have what, a bear, some lizards? Insulting!” He scoffed, dropping down to all fours to deal with these intruders.

As he came down there was a brief shriek of surprise as Yl'Karva's cock slammed into the ground, now occupying the spot that Ullia had been standing a moment before.

“Ullia!” Wrin shouted, gritting his teeth as he drew his bow, taking careful aim and firing his shot. A truer arrow he had never fired, it flew through the cave to strike the wretched dragon directly in its reptilian eye.

Yl'Karva roared, a paw coming up clutching at its face as the dragon writhed, claws and tail smashing skeletons to dust as the necromancers' forces moved in to attack.

Just as Wrin was readying another shot there was... laughter?

“Ahah...imagine, felled by an arrow? That would be the day.” The Old Everwyrm sneered, taking his paw away from his face, locking his eyes upon Wrin. “You've got good aim but you'll need more punch than that to do anything to me. Maybe try a ballista next time? Hmm... but you'll be dead so i suppose there won't be a next time... shame that.”

The dragon moved forwards, crushing Vanessa's bear underfoot and pausing to look down, an expression of disgust on his muzzle. “Eugh... so gooey! Were skeletons just too boring?” He grumbled, flicking some of the fur and rot off of his paw as undead soldiers methodically stabbed and slashed at his belly and limbs. He raised one foot, crushing some of the soldiers beneath, stamping out various nuisances while Wrin pelted him with arrows and Vanessa backpedalled, searching for ideas.

Yl'Karva paused his destruction of the undead forces, snorting with a surprised look on his face. “Did you just fire an arrow into my snout? How rude!” He grumbled, letting out a puff of smoke from his nostrils as well as an arrow that clattered to the floor. “I've humoured your attacks long enough!” He growled swiping at Wrin with claws like greatswords, parting leather, flesh and bone as the archer collapsed to the floor, dead before he hit the ground.

“Any last words necromancer? Vanessa you said hmm? Not that i need to bother remembering it, you haven't brought anything worth note.”

Vanessa would miss her trusted lieutenants, Wrin she might be able to animate, but Ullia...even if there was anything left of her she wouldn't be seducing anyone anymore. But they had gotten the dragon where she wanted him.

Lurking behind him to avoid the crushing onslaught that had decimated the soldiers, a pair of undead wolves lunged at his exposed shaft now that he was up on all fours, fangs and claws carving rents in it as their supernaturally strong jaws snapped shut, gripping onto it and scrambling for purchase. From her vantage Vanessa could see blood dripping down between his legs, this was it! She could do it!

“You say I'm not worth remembering but I've got one last trick up my sleeve!” She exclaimed, opening her grimoire and reading a verse from a page she'd prepared just for this! It had taken her weeks to store the necessary energies, longer still to develop the correct array of bindings and runes to make it work. Almost instantly there was an explosion of sickly green energy that took even Yl'Karva by surprise.

The dragon shied backwards, shaking his hips, heavy cock swinging back and forth between his legs as the wolves clung tenaciously, biting and clawing at his member. The Old Everwyrm was forced to roll over with a crash and shower of coins as he unceremoniously dropped his bulk into the treasure pile reaching down between his legs with a free paw to grab and crush the wolves into powder one after the other.

“Hmmm, I should thank your little puppies, they did a good job of scratching an itch i had down there.” He scoffed, furrowing his brow as something else stabbed his cock. A sword protruded from the dragon's hoard, the enchanted blade sunk deep into his length. The treasure pile shifted, coins sliding away as ancient, long forgotten corpses stirred to unlife. Bony fingers clawed their way to the surface, skulls set with glowing green eyes peered at the dragon, taking up the various magical weapons he was so fond of displaying!

The entire cave system had been suffused with the necromantic energies and from the caves entrance marched a massive bone golem, an agglomeration of the skulls and bones of heroes passed, tossed aside as theatrical decor, reanimated now and filled with a seething urge for revenge.

“Enough games! You've ruined my entrance hall!” Yl'Karva bellowed as it became apparent what the pesky little witch had done. He opened his maw wide, a glowing heat filling his throat as prepared to turn her to ash.

His jet of flame however went wide as massive skeletal hands grabbed his head, the scorching flame carving a glowing path along the wall of the cave as the golem wrested his head upwards.

The Old Everwyrm retaliated, driving a claw down on the golem, shattering one of its legs. The agglomeration of corpses wobbled, grabbing tighter to his head and neck to keep its balance. Meanwhile beneath Yl'Karva, the fallen heroes of his treasury struck with fervour, slicing into his cock with their weapons. Superficial wounds perhaps but a lot of them, especially stinging around the glans, a golden suit of armour slashing with a serpentine flamberge.

“You're so annoying! Enough of this!” The dragon bellowed, knocking the golem to the ground with another blow and heaving his bulk over, rolling over onto the golem and turning it to powder, crushing the fallen heroes back into the treasure pile as well as he completed his roll, regaining his footing as he set eyes on Vanessa.

“Perhaps I will remember you.” He growled, long neck snaking down to glare at her. “You've proven quite annoying. Have you any idea how long it will take me to find more corpses suitable to decorate my cave? Your skull will be first in the pile!” He sneered, clawed paw reaching out to snatch up the necromancer, parting her head from her body with a flick of a claw. “Bah, what a mess, and naught to show for it but some ugly robes. Unless...” He mused, catching sight of the grimoir at her hip. “A sorcerer's tome is something at least.” He conceded, snapping the chain and delicately picking up the book to add to his collection.

“Mardresh? What the heck is that?” Sylvia asked, feet up on the table as she leaned back in her chair, tuning her lute and occasionally testing it while she listened.

A talented bard with an enchanted lute and a voice like a siren, listening to one of Sylvia's songs could be almost hypnotic even when she wasn't lacing the music with magic. She could inspire whole crowds, whip soldiers into a battle frenzy or paralyze her foes all with lute and song. She was a well known figure within Kaladria.

Being well known was, for the most part nice, but occasionally some lord or other who found themselves on the wrong end of her songs got it in his mind to take her off the board rather than simply hiring her himself next time. Thus, a girl had to look out for number one. She'd met a few different adventurers who had been interested in serving as bodyguards but none had interested her so much as Zale. She'd been skeptical at first of course, some old codger against skilled assassins?

Zale however wasn't concerned, a lifetime of study both theoretical and practical in the magical arts meant he was prepared for any circumstance, weaving elaborate magical defenses and curses that could turn an assassins blade and stop his heart without Sylvia even waking up from her sleep.

“It was a wealthy kingdom once, but it got embroiled in a lengthy war and then ransacked by a great dragon.” Zale started. “Apparently they called it The Old Worm? My written Mardreshi is a little fuzzy... But this published accounting says that the dragaon has vast wealth and his penis is a weakness. What do you say? I bet we could please a dragon in exchange for a cart full of gold.”

“Hm, fine but you're the one getting their hands dirty! I'll stick to music and song.” She scoffed. Her relationship with Zale had started out purely professional but its hard to travel the world with someone without either growing to like or loath them, thus the pair had become friends, a more casual team dynamic rather than boss and bodyguard.

“Its settled, we'll leave tomorrow! So try and think of something a dragon would like to hear.” The old mage suggested.

Come the morning, Zale showed off one of his most useful tricks, teleportation. Talk about cutting down on roadside ambushes, they simply travelled from city to city in the blink of an eye. Or... a few minutes to be more accurate.

The runic circle bloomed into blinding light and suddenly the cozy warmth of the tavern was replaced by a cool wind.

“We have arrived.” Zale announced, gesturing towards the maw of a sizable cave system.

The pair ventured inwards, glancing around at the mountains of skulls and bones. “Jeeze, perhaps he doesn't like company?” Sylvia whispered, having second thoughts about this errand. “You're sure about that book?”

“Oh yes, at least ninety percent certain. I used to study Mardreshi in my youth. They favoured martial pursuits over proper magic but had a surprisingly robust guild of enchanters. Mardreshi arms and armour are still extremely prized if rare relics today.” Zale explained, his random bits of trivia helping keep Sylvia calm as the tunnel leveled out into a gaping cavern. Within was a pile of treasure that dwarfed any king's vault, indeed out of the pile of wealth she could spot something that looked surprisingly like a vault, simply picked up and carried away.

Atop it all rested a creature bigger than any she'd ever seen, its massive bulk partially hidden as it curled around the hoard.

Zale cleared his throat and spoke up. “Greetings Old Worm! We have heard tales of your grandeur and interests. We have journeyed far to visit you!”

Several seconds passed in silence before one enormous eye cracked open to stare at the pair. “To...Visit me? How droll. I haven't had a 'visitor' in decades. Not since the great heroes of Mardresh made their last stand. Now that was a fight!” Yl'Karva said, flashing a toothy grin as he reminisced about that great battle. “Hah... perhaps I overdid it, everyone stopped coming after that and its been soooooo boring! The farmers all fled and took their tasty cattle with them. The builders stopped fixing the castles and the lords stopped refilling their treasuries.” He huffed, tracing a claw through his mountain of wealth, picking up a bauble and turning it over to examine before tossing it back.

“A-ahem... Yes! Well Old Worm! As I said, we have-”

“Old...Worm?” Yl'Karva growled, fully awake to hear it this time. “Is that what they call me these days or did you just travel here to insult me?” He bristled, drawing up to glare at the pair. “I am The Old Everwyrm, The Great Terror, City Breaker, Gold miser, The Merciless Death, Ruiner, Pillager, all these and many more. Enough pleasantries! Draw your weapons!”

Sylvia glowered at Zale. “Ninety percent confidence?” She hissed, unslinging her lute. “Making my job way harder, look how angry he is now!”

Sylvia strummed her lute as she began singing, a ballad of dragons glory and conquest. Originally it had been a tale about the evil deeds of a dragon that ended in its death... but a little bit of revision and she had painted the dragon as the star.

She poured her heart and soul into her song, lacing it with heavy magical enchantments to try and make the creature more pliant to her will.

“A bard? Haven't had one of your kind here since Yrella the luscious. Lovely girl, but she'd gotten it in her mind somehow that she could seduce me into parting with my treasures. She played the flute if I remember correctly...” Yl'Karva mused, talking over her performance, much to Sylvia's annoyance, especially comparing her to some other mere bard as if anyone could hope to match her songs.

“And what about you? A lute is hardly a weapon but you've brought nothing at all.” He scoffed, turning to face Zale.

“Oh, I've brought plenty, there may have been a mistranslated phrase or two but I know what you like.” The wizard said, gesturing with his hands as he spoke, a blue glow enveloping them.

Beneath the dragon a similar blue glow filtered through the treasure, invisible hands of magical forge gripped and fondled the dragon's sheath and balls, stimulating him physically to help distract him while Sylvia's enchanted voice worked its own magic.

“Ah, an unusual tactic to be certain. What's your goal here?” The dragon mused. “And can you play offence and defence at the same time? If... whatever this is can really be called offence.” He chuckled, letting out a gout of fire at the old man even as his cock stirred in its sheath, growing harder as those giant invisible hands began stroking it. A massive length covered in scars and healed wounds from battles long past.

Zale was engulfed by the brief burst of dragonfire, a shimmering barrier turning it aside a foot in front of his face.

“Of all the things to forget to prepare for, fire would have been a gross oversight of mine would it not?” The wizard chuckled, still working to soothe and please the dragon.

Sylvia sang on, the dragon taking a princess to his lair to bed, the love that formed between them, and the wealth of kingdoms she brought to win his heart. She flinched at the fire, quickly recovering before she lost the tempo of her song, knees trembling. Hopefully Zale had some sort of master plan here! Her song didn't seem to be having the effect she'd planned...

Yl'Karva was enjoying himself for once. What an interesting duo, more hopeless than most but after so long alone at least he didn't have to listen to some droning speech about his evils being at an end.

He allowed himself to relax, enjoying the pleasant song and magical attention. Gradually his breathing grew heavier and he knew his climax was approaching.

The Old Everwyrm heaved himself upwards onto all fours, heavy member exposed as he orgasmed, burning hot seed gushing forwards to splatter over the cave floor, steaming as it cooled and pooling around the feet of the bard and wizard, kept at bay by the glowing magical barriers.

“Ahh! Well, that was fun but i really should be wrapping things up now I suppose.” Yl'Karva mused, reaching out to grasp Zales, the barrier crackling as his claws gripped it, lifting him like a hamster in a ball. The dragon sat down on his hind legs, cock sticking up towards the roof of the cave as he picked up Syliva as well in his other paw, examining both closely with a sneer. “As if I'd ever part with my treasures for any reason, no less some pretty song and a magic trick.” He scoffed, selecting the bard first, pressing them against his urethra and guiding them down the length of his shaft with a claw along the underside, a nice little bulge sliding down to its new home in his balls. Unfortunately that defensive magic tickled something fierce and Yl'Karva flexed his shaft from the sensation.

Sylvia shrieked, looking around in panic, strumming her lute, shouting, anything she could think of as the dragon pushed her downwards, the magic barrier crackling, surrounded by dragon meat on all sides now. Until the whole thing twitched and trembled, cracks spreading around the defensive bubble until it shattered, dissolving into magic dust as Sylvia was crushed along with it.

“You bastard! You really are a fiend!” Zale' shouted. “You won't get away with this!”

“Ah, there's the heroes monologue, I was wondering when it would show up. Bit late though, you're supposed to do it at the start. Now you don't have time to finish!” He chided, shoving Zale in next.

The old wizard wasn't simply going to rant and rave his last seconds away though, he wracked his mind for the words and phrasing, organizing all the pieces together even as cracks began to appear in the barrier. This was one spell he'd hoped never to need, an ancient and dire curse unearthed deep beneath a sealed tomb. It had taken years to safely unravel and reconstruct it into something he could use.

Yl'Karva watched curiously as the shape inside his cock began to glow brighter, what was the wizard upto in there? Suddenly the light was almost blinding, the dragon flinched as a searing pain spread through his scarred length. The Old Everwyrm shook his head, blinking to clear the bloom and looking down at his member.

The bulge and wizard within were gone, all magic drained out of Zale in a single instant as he unleashed the foul curse, turning into a withered husk like a mummy from the expenditure of mana.

Along Yl'Karva's cock from base to tip now rested elaborate tattoos in black ink. Wild swirling patterns and bizarre runes even he couldn't identify. The dragon reached out to touch one of the still steaming sigils with a claw. Nothing happened. He chuckled, spending some time admiring his new tattoos before returning to his nap, alas rest eluded the dragon that night and many others over the coming moons. That damnable song was stuck in his head! Infernal bard and her catchy tunes! He hummed it softly even as he tried to clear his thoughts.

The fledgling Republic of Gerant had in its inception found quite the stroke of luck, inheriting the ruins of a fallen empire. It had rebuilt their great castles and cities, restored the roads and grown rapidly as word spread. The new Republic, built atop the bones of this old kingdom prospered and grew for over a decade until word came in from the cities near the mountains of a great dragon pillaging their castles and caravans. Heroes were sent to deal with the threat, none returned. But the council of Gerant was not one to give up hope or adopt half measures. Ships were dispatched to every corner of the world seeking the mightiest heroes to solve this problem. Even as their dragon problem grew worse by the day they awaited word from overseas and eventually a ship returned.

The hunter stood at the entrance to the cave. Stowing the map away in his satchel. He sat down to review his supplies. Selecting anything that he could conceive a use for and leaving the rest behind. He had been briefed on the nature of the dragon and the danger it posed. There was to be no half measures or hesitation, either would mean defeat.

The hunter uncorked a variety of vials, potions and powders consuming one after another and tossing the bottles and wrappings aside as he walked into the cave. His senses heightened, muscles bulged, and time dilated as the mixtures took hold. He passed the heaps of skulls and corpses without a glance.

Yl'Karva sniffed, a strange scent on the air roused him, the sound of shattering glass and footsteps ringing in the cave. Someone new had come to play. He opened an eye, vision focusing on the figure. It was... a dragon? No... too small but...

The Old Everwyrm opened both eyes, getting a proper look at the person before him. For it was certainly a member of the mortal races now but they were attired in armour made of dragon scales, there was no mistaking the sparkle and sheen. Slung across their back was a scabbard almost as tall as they were.

“So, another fool come to challenge me? You must be from that new kingdom. Gebral Was it? Well, you stand before The Old Everwyrm now! State your grievances and let us get on wi-” He Started, his usual droll speech, however the hunter seemed to be ignoring him, striding towards him like he was still asleep! “I SAID!” The dragon bellowed. “Declare yourself!” He huffed, swiping at the annoying pest. A lazy swipe perhaps, but it had worked on many enough in the past.

Yl'Karva quirked an eyebrow as the hunter leapt, vaulting over his swipe with surprising agility. “So, you're not totally useless after all!” He scoffed, tail thumping in the treasure pile as he began to take an interest. “I'll allow you another opportunity to introduce yourself.”

A long moment of silence followed as Yl'Karva's frustration mounted. “Are you mute? Sign something.” He huffed, smoke streaming from his nostrils as he glared at this lone challenger. “Fine! If you won't amuse me I have no further need of you!” He sucked in a deep breath, belly bulging as he filled his lungs and unleashed a blast of searing dragon fire at the arrogant intruder.

The hunter was quick to react, spinning around he pulled his cloak tight, gripping it with one arm and putting a boot down on the corner to hold it in place as the scorching blast of dragon fire impacted with it. By the time Yl'Karva had finished, the dragonscales on his cloak steamed as they let off heat and the hunter was sweating inside his scale armour.

“You're still alive? I'll squash you like a bug!” The Old Everwyrm roared, slamming a paw down to crush the hunter, only to have him dodge away at the last moment. He swung again, this time the wretch was on top of his claws, he moved to shake him off and the hunter leapt to his shoulder.

Yl'Karva craned his neck to keep him in sight, jaws opening wide as he lunged to devour him.

The hunter released his grip on the dragons shoulder, dropping down as he tossed a bag at the creature. It splattered across the dragons muzzle, pungent liquid filling his nostrils and mouth.

The dragon reeled, surprised by such a strange attack. “You think you can poison me?” He chuckled, wrinkling his nose as he sniffed the concoction. It wasn't poison though, it... smelled quite pleasant... a female dragon in heat... “What is this? Where did you get it?” He demanded, swinging his tail at the hunter, fury rising as the agile little worm ducked under his leg. He could fix that! He raised his limb up to crush him.

How could one human be so fast? And for so long? What was he hoping to accomplish beyond being frustrating? Yl'Karva swung wildly, smashing treasures and stones alike in his fury, incensed by his repeated misses but he couldn't hit the one thing he was aiming at! Worse he was having trouble thinking straight! How had he gotten that scent? It reeked of a dragoness needing to breed! Yl'Karva couldn't help but get aroused, cock sliding from its sheath amid the treasures. “Once I catch you... oh the things you'll endure! I'll strip off that disgusting dragon skin armour of yours and grind you flat beneath my cock! You think you can kill my kind and get away with it?! Or did you just buy that fancy armour of yours?! SAY SOMETHING!” Yl'Karva roared, the mountain shaking with his rage.

He swiped again and again, paying attention now as the hunter dodged, backing him against a wall until finally he connected, grabbing the infuriating being in his claws and lifting him up to get a closer look. “Lets see whats under that helmet of yours!” He seethed.

As he moved to take off the hunters helmet however there was a metallic click as something was thrown upwards. “You missed...” The Old Everwyrm grinned wryly, watching the little object soar up near his head but sadly short of the mark.

At least until it exploded, releasing a blinding flash of light that made the dragon shriek and recoil, clutching at his face as and shaking his head. The hunter was on him before he knew what was happening, another metallic click and something was jammed into his ear, a deafening screech making Yl'Karva thrash, falling over on his side as his senses were all scrambled!

Atop the mountain of treasure the hunter looked down at the dragon, writhing amid the rocks and wealth as he unsheathed his blade. A six foot blade forged out of a dragon talon, honed to a razor sharp edge. The hunter set his sights on his target, that fat cock, scarred, bitten, slashed and inscribed with ancient curses of vengeance.

Sword in hand he slid down the obscene pile of wealth and excess, leaping high into the air and bringing his blade down in a devastating slash at the moment of impact. His aim was true, striking an old scar along the glans. A helm splitter slash across the head of his cock. Dragon claw cleaved through the scar tissue, slicing from the top of his cockhead, through the urethra and out the bottom. Yl'Karva roared again from the pain.

Along the length of his shaft the sinister black runes inscribed on his length began to glow, old scars lighting up as well. The ancient curse took hold, replicating the hunters slash across every esoteric rune and past scar, an agonizing and catastrophic wave of feedback that reduced the dragon's cock to bloody ribbons.

Yl'Karva wailed, thrashing wildly as the worst pain he'd ever endured ripped through him. “I-Impossible! I am... THE OLD EVERWYRM! I-immortal! I can't be hurt... can't be killed...” He grunted, bellowing flames indiscriminately until he was light headed from the effort. “What...what have you done to me!?” The dragon wailed as his gaze settled between his legs, his proud cock... gone... reduced to a bloody smear on his treasure. And that mortal, standing there watching... It was too much! His vision blurred, head still ringing from the sonic bomb. It felt like his heart would burst in his chest... was this... death? It hurt... “To fail... like this... How humiliating...” He gasped seeing double as he reached for the hunter one last time, head slamming into the mass of treasure as his claws went limp.

The hunter spent an entire week in the lair of Yl'Karva. A skilled butcher as well as a hunter he took the dragon's scales, claws, eyes, fangs and most precious of all, the immortal crystal within his breast.

By the time he journeyed back down the mountain many had given him up for dead, but all cheered his return and none could deny the proof he presented to the council. Never before or since had the council paid such a reward to a single soul for any task, indeed there were whispers that the sum may bankrupt the republic itself. Until at least, the soldiers came to examine the cave. Finding the butchered remains of Yl'Karva and wealth enough to bring prosperity to every citizen of the republic.

Thus the Republic of Gerant began a month of celebration, declaring a holiday to mark the fall of Yl'Karva. The wealth from his hoard hastened Gerant's growth and turned it into a beacon of prosperity and a trade empire the world over.
