He smiled as he moved over to the drawer where he kept his silverware and took out some knives and forks, setting them down before withdrawing a pair of plates. "How big a slice do you want?"

"I wouldn't mind going for a nice big piece myself, there's plenty of it to go around after all!" Peter said as he approached the table with the cake, taking one more good look over it before Alex cut a large piece for his friend.

"Big piece it is, then!" He nodded as he cut out a decent sized slice before sliding it onto the plate and handing it over to Peter and grinning as he nudged some silverware over in his friend's direction. Alex then cut himself a similarly sized piece and then put the rest back into the box. "Well, let's dig in!"

"I can't wait to taste this thing - she promised me that the taste is a real fusion of flavours!" He chuckled, using the cutlery to cut off a piece of the cake. "If she's as good with food as she is with everything else, I'm sure this cake will be amazing!"
