Neebis slowly woke in the embrace of his mate. He slowly opened a sleepy eye and looked down at her sleeping form. Her head was pressed against his throat and he had his paws around her shoulders as they slept belly to belly. A faint light was coming from the window, the sky a soft grey as the sun threatened to come over the horizon.

He pulled her closer and he heard her croon at his hug, burying his snout into her neck he inhaled deeply, her scent warm, soft and comforting, like freshly laundered sheets but also distinctly Reevian. He smiled as he held her close, her body pressing against his filled him with calm. He knew they would struggle with raising a hatchling, but right now, on the bed, he couldn't think of anywhere else he would rather be. With a deep exhale he then licked the top of her head, he felt her stir slightly as he whispered "you sleep in, I'll open the stall"

She responded by hugging him tightly and letting out a soft growl before relaxing, letting him untangle himself from her limbs. He gave her another kiss on her cheek as he then left the apartment, taking care to close the door as softly as possible.

Opening the stall had become muscle memory by now, he unfurled the awning and got to preparing the kitchen. As he pressed in the knobs on the stove, waiting for the clicks to ignite the gas he couldn't help but chuckle at the irony. Dragons of old used to breathe fire, but after generations and generations of not needing too it had become a rare trait of dragons to be able to create a flame. Those that did would often use their tallents in cultural reenactments or performing for crowds.

As the stove was heating up he started pulling out ingredients and proceeded to chop them. He was not as good as Reevian, taking his time and even then he noticed that he was not as consistent as her. His head perked up as he felt a soft wing draped over his rump as Reevian walked up beside him. She learnt against him and watched him chop the vegetables. "Good morning sexy" Neebis whispered just to her and kissed her cheek. She closed her eyes and he started to nibble tenderly on her jaw bone.

"Thankyou" she gasped as he went lower and nuzzled the base of her skull with the bridge of his nose, the vegetables forgotten on the chopping board.

"You needed a sleep in" he said between kisses. She squeezed him with her wing and then grabbed the knife, taking over.

Customers started to make their way into the market for breakfast and they quickly became busy. He chuckled as he cleaned the dishes and continued to make his rounds of collecting empty bowls that were left abandoned on the tables. As the breakfast rush started to slow down, Reevian made a bowl of noodles for Teeba.

"Hey do you know where I can get a tie" asked Neebis as he returned back to the stall on 3 legs, a tower of bowls clutched in a paw.

"What do you want with a tie?" She asked looking over to him, his eyes glinting.

"I was going to float my idea with Teeba, see if she knows where I can start"

"Oh I see, it's for Teeba!" She joked "why don't you dress up for me?" She pouted playfully.

"Oh shush you" he said as he took the bowls to the sink, playfully slapping her rump with his tail as he passed.

"I think my ex left one here, It could be in my second drawer" she said, she paused for a second and looked over to him who was staring at her with an eyebrow up. "Oh don't give me that look, you are not my first" she said with a laugh.

He dried his paws off on a towel and padded over to her, he playfully rested his paws on her rump, causing her to gasp. He gently squeezed her thighs with his paws, looking into her eyes he promised "but I'll be your last" before kissing her on her back. "Second drawer you say?" He said as he let her go and walked to the apartment stairs, he missed Reevian glancing at the hot plate and him, tossing up if she should follow him. With a shake of her head she returned to her cooking, the kitchen feeling hotter than usual.

Neebis returned a short while later with a yellow bowtie tangled around his neck, as he padded over to Reevian she looked at him and laughed.

"Please let me help" she leaned close to him and used her paws to quickly fix the tie with practised ease. Neebis enjoyed the closeness of his mate and kissed her on the cheek. Before he knew it she had finished, giving the tie a slight tug to straighten it and passed him Teeba's meal. "I don't think yellow is your colour" she said and pecked him on the cheek. Neebis noticed that she had a look of pride or longing in her eyes as she stood back and looked at him with the bowtie, he made a mental note and then turned to leave.

Neebis hummed to himself as he flew over the city, the sky was clear and the wind refreshing , he spotted a few other dragons flying, carrying packages with the Drag'n'Drop logo. He smiled to himself knowing he had a loving mate to return too when he delivered this package. He did a quick shoulder check before circling around the northern spire and descended to the entrance.

His claws clicked on the polished marble floor as he trotted happily to the buzzers, earning a few smirks from others in the lobby but he didn't care. He reached for the buzzer and gave it a few taps I'm a musical rhythm before he hear Teeba's voice "hey is that you?"

"Sure is! Hot noodles from a hot noodle" he chuckled as he made his way to the elevator.

While he was lifted to the right floor he used the mirrors again to undo her noodles, he staightened his bow tie. "Yellow really isn't me" he said outloud to himself. As the doors opened he padded his way to Teeba's door and knocked with a claw and set the food down.

Teeba smiled as she opened the door. Sticking her grey and purple head and neck out the door. "Thankyou so much for doing this" she said as she rummaged around for note on a table just inside the door. As she looked back at him he could see him sitting proudly with an ugly tie around his neck. "Someone is looking dashing today" she added.

"Well it's a lovely day, sorry I didn't mean to rub it in. It's just Reevian and I... Well, nevermind" he said, his voice drifting off.

"OH! Somebody got their dick wet didn't they?!" She said with a laugh. Laughing harder at his shocked face.

"That's... One way to say it" he said nervously, causing her to laugh more. He waited patiently for her to finish before asking. "Hey, I was wondering. Could I run a business idea past you? It maybe silly but I'm not sure where to start."

"Sure Neebis, what's your big idea" she said with a smirk.

Neebis explained his great idea to her, his voice filled with excitement and enthusiasm. She listened intently and nodded kindly. When he paused for breath he heard her stomach growl.

"I'm so sorry, you must be starving. Can I come back later?" He asked realising he had been keeping a hungry dragoness away from her food.

"Come on in, we can discuss this while I eat." She turned and before he knew it he was standing alone in the hallway with the door open Infront of him. He padded slowly inside, the sudden wall of her heat flooding his brain, he closed his eyes and tried to push away the smell. It was like a thick soup of fertility that hung in the air and penetrated his resolve. He opened his eyes and had to clench his thighs to stop himself from peaking. "Sorry about the cold, they don't call it heat for nothing" she said as she threw out the included paper fork and collected a metal one from the sink.

"It's fine" he said as he sat across from her.

She put her head over her noodles and inhaled deeply, her head coming up with a look of bliss on her face. "This stuff is the best. Sorry you were saying about a company delivering food"

Neebis took a deep breath with his mouth, he could still taste her heat on the air but he continued to explain the details of his idea, Teeba's attention on him while she slowly ate.

"The main thing I'm stuck on, is I don't know where to go from here." He confessed.

Teeba slowly chewed her noodles, looking in thought up at the ceiling. "You know... It's actually not a half bad idea" she saw him smile in the corner of her eyes. "I'm guessing you would need an app for the customers to use, and get some vendors onboard, getting the flyers would be easy enough just give them a joining bonus for the first hundred or so flyers....."

She turned her head this way and that in thought. "Fuck it, I'm in" she said looking back at him.

"What?" He remarked.

"I'll help, if that's ok. I know a few girls from Drag'n'Drop marketing who are keen to get out. I've got some capital we can use"

"Oh, no please. I don't want you to spend your money" Neebis started.

"Don't think of it as spending, more investing. How about we go thirds. You, me and Reevian?" She asked, she could tell he was in over his head. "Things like marketing and servers don't come cheap, but I can handle the tech If you two work on getting vendors onboard."

Neebis couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Are you sure?" He said, his heart racing.

"Yeah, I think it's a solid idea." She said smiling at his reaction. She grabbed another forkfull of noodles and grabbed her phone.

Neebis was stunned, a million thoughts going through his head. He couldn't help but smile at Teeba, this young little dragoness who was trying to take a photo of her meal for social media. Who was now willing to go into business with him. He felt giddy at the thought, so much could go wrong but he liked the thrill.

With her phone still pointed at the food she looked up at him. "So, my hot little noodle. How about we make this new relationship official?" Her voice low and sultry

Neebis's heat filled mind finally caught up to him. "So the whole going thirds on a business was a lie?"

"Oh no, I'm still keen if you two are. Talk it over with your mate." She said.

Neebis opened the door and stepped out to the hallway, fresh air was a welcoming feeling. He turned back "thanks.... I think"

While he rode the elevator he shook his head, trying to clear his mind. Teeba's scent still lingering on him. He looked at the money that Teeba had given him, it was still way too much. He felt a little betrayed that Reevian would feel she needed to test him, but on the other paw he passed her test which filled him with pride.

As he flew back home he hatched an idea, he dipped his wings before the markets and made a few stops. By the time he landed near the markets he quickly raced to the stall with a bag dangling from his jaws. He could see Reevian frantically trying to manage the stall by herself in the middle of the lunch rush. Neebis vigorously washed the dishes trying to catch up while Reevian cooked and took orders, she could feel her feet aching and knew she was only half way through the day.

As the lunch rush ended Neebis did a lap of the eating area, collecting bowls in a paw and wiping the tables, as he returned he could see Reevian sitting in the market stall, completely exhausted. He looked at her sympatheticly as he returned with the empty bowls.

"Hey, let's not do the dinner shift" he suggested, "it's Monday, Mondays are always quiet. And maybe I have a surprise for you " he said as he turned around behind her and put his paws on her shoulders, gently massaging her stiff joints.

"After what Teeba said to you, yes. I didn't expect her to be so vulgar"

"I have something special for us this evening. But we should close now if we are to make it." He whispered into her ear. "Come on, you need a break"

"I really don't want to go anywhere Neebis, my feet ache and I feel bloated." She said, enjoying the feeling of his paws on her body.

"I know, don't worry, you will like this" he said, giving her a nibble at the base of one of her horns.

"Alright, but you need a shower. All I can think about is Teeba when your close" She opened her eyes and turned off the stove. She looked at the mountain of scraps and dishes and felt overwhelmed.

Neebis followed her gaze, "Don't worry, they will still be there tomorrow" said Neebis as he started to close the awning. With a tired nod she silently agreed and emptied the register.

They made their way up the stairs to their apartment and Neebis made a bee line to the shower, he ran it cold to save the hot water for her and made sure to scrub himself twice with her shampoo to make sure all of Teeba's scent was off him. Once dry he returned back to the living room just in time to take his tea from Reevian. "Your turn, there is plenty of hot water" he said.

The sounds of the water running was background noise for Neebis as he fetched his bag from under the sink in the market stall. He quickly returned to the living room and hastily prepared his surprise.

As the bathroom door opened, a haze of steam came out along with a yawning Reevian. It took her a moment for her eyes to adjust to the dim light of the living room. Neebis had turned off all the lights and her throat got tight with what she saw. Neebis had pulled off all of the cushions from the bed and the couch and had arranged them in a little nest on the ground, the couch pushed away to one side and small candles were scattered all around the apartment. The blinds had been closed causing the candles to be the only source of illumination in the room. bathed in the orange glow from the candles sat Neebis, Sitting proudly with his wings tightly to his sides and his neck in an elegant curve. He had a brand new red bowtie around his neck and a look in his eyes.

"Good evening, Are you ready for an afternoon slash evening of divine pleasures and pampering?" He said, putting on a fancy accent.

"Oh Neebis, You didn't have to do this" she said, her voice tight as she moved across the room.
