Chapter Nineteen
Chapter Nineteen of Twenty Two
It approached the year anniversary for Lilith's arrival to Brogdrin's castle. What a year it had been. Gaining a new found family, finding a place to call her home that she would willingly fight for. Losing a few sisters pained her heart but growing closer to the ones she had filled her heart and soul with so much joy. Feeling emotions she had never felt before it was eye opening. Finally having a family she was proud of and adored so deeply Lilith felt like she was home. This was her home. Without her sisters and Brogdrin she would have never got to this point. Able to heal her deepest wounds this place became her sanctuary.
Brogdrin's rule was to grant one request his worker had on their year being there. Lilith would be no different. She thought long and hard about what she wanted. Simple things went through her head at first. A day to spend with him alone. Some kind of trinket. But then she had her idea. Riding in the carriage back with Brogdrin from their second outing Lilith had decided on her wish. Even going so far as to wish it for her birthday wish.
The afternoon of her anniversary she stood in Brogdrin's throne room with him as he finished his work for the day. Ready to stand bravely before him and ask for what her heart yearned for.
“Master."
“Hello Lilly."
He smiled down to her and closed the scroll he was working on.
“Early today?"
“Ready for my wish sir."
She piped up to him smiling. Brogdrin chuckled and turned in his seat to her. Full attention.
“Alright, have you thought long and hard?"
“I have Master. Wasn't a hard choice in the end. I'm fierce now."
He chuckled nodding his head.
“True. Your name suits you."
Blushing slightly she looked to her feet letting out a smile.
“Thank you for the name sir. I love it so much."
“You earned it. Now, what is it I can grant for you?"
Lilith stood straight and swallowed hard. Ready and willing to never be scared again.
“Master…I love you and want to be with you always and obviously you want that too. I am not asking to be your mate. That would be wrong of me. It is a choice we both may or may not make one day. And that day is not today. You've been hurt and the way I was raised…we both are not ready or too willing to be that way. I believe in the years demons do for vetting and testing and proving their love. I need to test you and you need to test me."
He nodded and leaned forwards to rest his elbows on his knees.
“I appreciate that Lilly. Thank you and I agree. But that's not a wish."
She smiled to him.
“I just wanted to be clear with you sir. I want to earn my spot and show you how nice it is to be loved. You deserve it."
“I will say."
He let out a sigh but returned her smile.
“You make it easy. Easier than I thought."
“Good! I hoped to make it easy on you."
Suddenly the throne room door rocked with a loud knock. Brogdrin stood and she watched his face return to his normal fierce gaze. Almost like a switch was flipped. It was surprising it was so effortless for him.
Before he could speak the door opened and in barreled Luca. He looked furious as the door slammed close behind him.
“Theo had a name carved into his back."
He hissed angrily. His gaze strong towards Lilith.
“Your name."
Brogdrin appeared at her side instantly. A small wisp of wind moved the air in the room. She heard him let out a guttural growl as his hand came to the nape of her neck. Luca came right over to them and just as he stopped she felt Brogdrin's hand squeeze into her skin slightly. As if he was preparing to fight.
“A human name! She does not deserve to be a demon's anything! This is not happening."
Luca moved to look to Brogdrin.
“Enough is enough. I've gone along with this idea of you keeping this human as a pet for long enough. You staying here with them, all of them, has made you soft. I taught you better than to play with your food."
“If you think you can tell me what to do you are sadly mistaken."
Brogdrin sounded pure evil then. A tone of voice she had never heard from him before, ever. She looked up to him watching his eyes cut into his father's. Luca let out a low growl but didn't move towards them.
“You walk such a line boy. What makes her so different? Explain this to me. I nor any other demon could possibly understand how a human could fall for a demon. They are incapable of it. Evil twisted things that would sooner kill their brother for a few coin than work to earn it."
“You need to tell him Master."
Lilith pushed on his chest making him look down to her.
“Tell him."
He let her slip her hand into his as he sighed deeply. Barely hesitating. Luca was silent now just staring at them. His eyes darting between his son and her. Confusion coated his face. Brogdrin turned back slowly to his father and met his gaze.
“I love her…and with her able to return my love…I have gained a soul."
Luca's jaw dropped and a stunned gasp let him. His eyes were wide as he took a step back from them.
“A human? A human gave you a soul?"
“Yes."
He squeezed her hand but kept his eyes on his father.
“And I am glad I did not destroy their race. Without it I would not know what this feels like."
“There's no way. You'd be the first…"
“I am the first."
Brogdrin let out a growl now.
“And I am not keeping her as a pet. I am keeping her because I am in love with her. I have had enough of you and your snide remarks."
“Wait."
Lilith pushed away from Brogdrin and went right up to Luca. He stared harshly down to her as she moved closer.
“Listen to what I want for my yearly wish."
“Wish? What kind of bull-"
“Wait."
Lilith cut him off strongly but still softly. Staring right up at him. Holding her ground and having no fear.
“Just listen. Then make your choice. Deal?"
Luca let out an annoyed sound but did nod.
“Fine."
She turned back to Brogdrin and took in a breath. Steadying herself.
“Like I was saying Master. I want to be with you and earn your trust and love. I do not think I can do that as a human being."
His eyes narrowed to her and she watched him pull his hands into fists.
“Oh?"
“You were able to get your soul from me when I realized what I wanted for my birthday wish sir. When I knew I could love you completely and painlessly."
Lilith smiled to him. A truly happy smile that came from her very soul.
“I want to become a demon Master. It was my birthday wish. So I can love and support you fully while we vet each other for the eons to come if we need it."
Brogdrin stepped to her his expression one of surprise.
“You'd leave your race? For me?"
“Yes. I'd do anything for you. I love you."
“Are you sure?"
Lilith nodded and just smiled up to him.
“I have thought long and hard. I want this. Lilith the Fierce and Brogdrin the Great. I like it."
He smiled to her then. That just perfectly happy smile that melted her heart. She knew from this simple expression how much she meant to him. How much she mattered.
“So do I. We will fill books with our adventures Little Flower."
Lilith patted his hand then went back over to Luca. He stood stunned staring at her. His eyes wide as she smiled to him.
“I would like to get to know you too. You matter a lot to the demon I love. He speaks so highly of you and it was you who made him stomper cookies when he was sad. Without you I would never have been able to find him. Since I am willing to give up my entire race for your son…do you think you could give up your hate for me?"
“S-stompers."
Luca looked to Brogdrin who gazed back at him. His eyes and features finally relaxing.
“I made them for her when she was sad. Because I love her."
He looked back down to her and Lilith sighed.
“I am good for him. Soul or not he is happy. Can't you be happy for him?"
Luca sighed heavily. His shoulders relaxed as he sighed.
“Alright, you are unlike any human I have met."
“Earned me a demon spot."
Lilith agreed and smiled to him.
“It's what I want so I can do what I want. Very demon like."
Brogdrin chuckled and came over to her.
“I think I can grant you full demon status now. Ready to accept our race is a big step."
“Sir. I want this. I am sure."
“Then I will grant it."
“Thank you Master."
Lilith looked back to Luca and said.
“You raised a wonderful son. Thank you."
Luca finally let out a smile and looked to Brogdrin.
“I did. My son has a soul. First demon in history to gain one. I am very proud."
Brogdrin nodded and growled playfully to him.
“Yes, I'm sure keeping this hidden will kill you."
“I agree. Our kind needs to be informed slowly."
“Soon to be my kind…"
Lilith said. Brogdrin looked to her, his eyes sparkling with love.
“Yes, you too. Thank you Little Flower."
“You're welcome Master. It was an easy choice."
><
Lilith knew it would take a while for Brogdrin to gather everything he needed to change her but that did not make the wait any less terrible. Proud of herself and what she had accomplished in such a short time, and now with her new found bravery towards Luca, she felt unstoppable.
After her day ended Lilith happily joined Brogdrin in his room. Like she had so many times before. She adored her life.
“Evening Master!"
“There you are."
Brogdrin smiled to her from his kitchen.
“7 already?"
“Yes sir."
She put her bag away and then came over to hug into his body.
“Our time…I do enjoy our nights together."
“I enjoy all our time together. Did you want a snack? I am making sweet rolls."
“I love your sweet rolls. That be nice thank you Master."
Lilith squeezed him tight then moved to help roll out the dough. She loved helping him cook or bake. Always felt so sweet. Like something from a fairytale or even one of Aspen's sultry books.
“Did you have a good day Little Flower?"
“Yes Master."
She smiled up to him.
“Especially because my yearly wish is coming true sir."
“Are you sure you wish to leave your race? There is no going back once I turn you."
“Oh I'm sure Master."
Lilith shrugged. She plopped down a lump of dough onto the baking sheet then said.
“Humans have been nothing but cruel to me…why would I want to stay a part of a race who would sooner have me killed than feed me a hot meal. I mean look at your father Master, willing to put aside his hate because I make you happy. How many eons has he hated my kind?"
Brogdrin chuckled glancing down to her.
“For as long as I can remember. I just want to make sure you understand what you are doing."
“I am giving up my human ties to this planet and becoming an eternal being sir."
Lilith recited her demon book word for word to him. Proving she had at least some knowledge behind her choice.
“And because I willingly accept this I get to keep my human born soul as well as a few other human traits. Emotions, feelings, compassion, empathy."
“Alright-alright."
His hand came to rest just at the nape of her neck making her look up to him.
“Professor Lilith. You should put all that reading to work and become a teacher or something. The way you retain information is astonishing."
“Thank you sir. I understand what you are saying and I have thought about this for a long time now."
Lilith gave him her best smile. She loved when he held the back of her neck.
“I did have one question sir. I've found nothing about it in my books."
“Oh?"
He squeezed his hand slightly staring down at her.
“What is your question?"
“When I do finally become a demon…and we…lay…together."
Lilith steadied herself gazing up.
“Would we have to worry of children? I know demons don't procreate like humans obviously. I've read the books and it has a lot of information on the actual spell but no details."
“There are only two ways demons can have offspring. One is with that spell. Still involves some difficult magic, ingredients, and a sacrifice."
His answered seemed soft. Didn't seem angry about her odd question at all.
“The other way is how I was made. Born of flesh and bone from another. That takes a whole different approach. We will have no worries of children from having sex."
“Good sir."
Lilith nodded and moved to stand in front of him.
“Not having to worry about that is nice. I want to stand by your side for a long time and having to care for children is not something I really want for a while. We have adventures to take."
“You can stand at my side as a human too Lilly. You know I don't mind."
“I know sir and that's not the only reason I decided on this. A big reason but not the only one. I'll go into details once I figure out how to express them correctly Master. I know it will take some time to get everything together for this."
She said with a laugh.
“I am holding my excitement at bay Master. But, human or demon, I am in love with you."
His beautiful smile seemed to brighten the very room they stood in. Almost like he had a soft glow to him.
“I love you too Little Flower. You make it easy, much easier than I thought it would be to open my heart up again. Thank you."
“Well you're welcome and thank you for giving me a chance to love you. You deserve it Master."
Brogdrin suddenly picked her up and hugged her into his body. Curling her head into his chest she felt him sigh heavily.
“You are healing wounds I thought had scarred over already. I truly adore you Lilly and I will kill anyone who tries to take you from me."
Lilith smiled and let her eyes close as she hugged into him. Falling further in love with him with each passing second.
><
After her bath Lilith changed into her white nightgown then crawled into bed to await Brogdrin. Proud of herself for standing up for what she wanted. Even to Luca. Few months ago she would have never spoken even remotely close to that with him. Fearful he would rip her face clean off. Now that she had become Lilith the Fierce it seemed bravery was easy to muster up. Brogdrin being her solid base to start with, standing tall was not an issue.
Lost in her thoughts she didn't hear Brogdrin come into the room. He spooked her a bit by snapping his door close.
“Oh Master. I didn't hear you."
“Everything alright?"
His eyes scanned across her face.
“Your head seems to be in the clouds."
“Lots to think about lately sir."
She replied with a laugh.
“Turning page for my life sits before me and I'm trying to process it."
Brogdrin nodded and stood beside the bed staring at her. His gaze seemed worried but caring.
“Anything I can help with?"
“No Master. Thank you. I'm sure it's a lot like you gaining a soul. An odd feeling, welcome just very odd."
“I do understand that. Alright, if you change your mind let me know."
“Always Master."
She laid back into the pillows and smiled up to him.
“It's been a day. Join me Master…I want to lay in your arms."
“My favorite place for you."
Brogdrin laid beside her, curling her body into his own. As if hiding her away from the entire world. Lilith let out a happy little sigh. It was her favorite place too.
“Good night Master."
“Good night Little Flower."
><
April came as Lilith settled back into normalcy. Tending to her library and relaxing with her sisters. Spring time just made everything better. The halls sang with light and the air was fresh and free.
Lilith had just finished lunch and returned to her library to read for a while. Brogdrin was busy with his duties. Now that he had a soul Luca had him away more often. Tending to things Lilith didn't even know about. Knowing he was keeping his soul a secret from his entire race must have been stressful. She missed him but took this time to read up on her demon history and lore. Trying to pack her brain full of knowledge before Brogdrin changed her.
Settling behind her counter she had just started reading when the door opened. Looking up she saw Minerva coming towards her. Lilith smiled to her and shut her book.
“Afternoon V. I didn't expect you until Thursday."
“You gave Drin a soul?"
Minerva didn't waste any time. She stood strongly opposite the counter, her arms crossed over her chest. She looked less than pleased. Lilith's smile dimmed a bit as she studied Minerva.
“I'd like to think of it in a different way. I fell in love with him. Soul was an afterthought for the both of us."
“An afterthought?"
Minerva sounded tight and angry. Lilith was confused by this. She cared for Brogdrin.
“Yes, the both of us wanted each other first and foremost. He's been alone for so long. I'm sure you of all people are aware of that."
“Do you have any idea what you have done for him? What you have done for the entire demon race?"
“I fell in love. That comes first for the both of us. He deserves to be loved just like every other sentient being on this planet."
“A demon should never have a soul."
Minerva said through clenched teeth.
“It is unnatural. It goes against every warning or rule or command in all the books. This puts the demons on top of the food chain. Humans will die."
“That's not what Master wants."
Lilith shook her head sitting up off her stool.
“He doesn't want to end the human race. He's not a bad guy like the books say he is."
“Lilith."
Minerva spoke sternly now.
“You've been with him when he's done horrible things. I mean…you've done horrible things."
“I've defended my Master's honor as his apprentice."
It was Lilith's turn to speak strongly. Over Minerva's skewed understanding of her Master.
“And I will defend him to my end. He deserves a chance to be loved."
“Like you did?"
“Yes…"
“He took you under his paw when you arrived, yes?"
Minerva asked. Lilith was confused by her question.
“Yes."
“Molded you into his world. Gave you a home and a family like you wanted. Pretty much gave you everything you ever wanted."
Lilith balled her hands into fists and glared hard at Minerva.
“If you are suggesting that I was brainwashed into giving him a soul you are wrong. I fell for him. Me. By myself."
“Oh right, and I'm sure him doing all these things for you didn't persuade you at all. Let's be honest here. The human world hasn't been kind to you. It would be easy for someone like you to fall under the spell of a demon. You already had your own hatred for your kind."
“Stop."
Lilith shook her head turning away from Minerva. She was wrong and Lilith knew it to her soul.
“My Master loves me and the fact that I gave him a soul has nothing to do with anything. It was an afterthought. For both of us. I don't care what anyone else thinks or says about us. I know the truth."
“You don't care that you have given demons the upper hand? Brogdrin can do anything now. Anything. I am not exaggerating Lilly. Cosmic powers beyond even my comprehension, and I understand a lot. What if he turns one day and decides to just wipe out the planet?"
“You know him better than this V."
Lilith gave an frustrated sigh. She came around the counter and looked Minerva right in the eyes.
“It was you who spoke so highly of how he cares for people and that was before he had a soul. Imagine what he will do now. Now that he can feel, and care, and love truly. Do you have so little trust in the thing you'd call a brother?"
Minerva's eyes darted between hers as she chewed on her bottom lip. Apprehension coated her face. Lilith stayed strong. Sure of her Master.
“He's not like his father…"
“I know."
Minerva shot back. It was silent for a few moments then she sighed heavily.
“I know he's not…he's nothing like Luca. I am glad between the two it was Drin who gained the soul."
“Luca has agreed to start trying to lose his hate for humans. I spoke with him when I asked for my yearly wish."
“He's heartless Lilly."
Minerva shook her head slowly.
“Don't trust him for a moment. Stay with Drin."
“So you do trust him?"
“Yes of course but."
She threw her hands up and took a few steps away.
“On one hand I am happy for my friend. Drin has helped me many times and asked for nothing in return…most of the time. I do trust him and think of him as an annoying brother. On the other…I am afraid of what this will mean for the world. Having demons at the top of the food chain is something I never thought I would ever come to see in my life time. This is unnatural and worrisome for many reasons."
“Just put your trust in him like I have."
“I don't mean to come down on you Lilly."
Minerva came over and touched her shoulder.
“I am sorry this kind of thing is big in the magic world. Drin told me and I nearly teleported here to find out the truth."
“Odd you came to me and not my Master."
Lilith probed casting her a sly glance. Rolling her eyes Minerva sighed and then dismissed her statement by saying.
“Your name has come up as well."
“My name?"
“You are Lilith the Fierce right?"
Minerva smiled suddenly. Looking upon her with pride.
“Damn good witch I hear and apprentice to Brogdrin the Great. A title no one thought could be obtained. It is unheard of for Drin to take an apprentice."
Lilith's heart swelled. Her name was known now. Just like she wanted.
“I now know how sought after my position is. I want to make him proud, I know he's never taken one before."
“I will say you do fill the position well. Just watch him Lilly. Please."
She nodded and squeezed Minerva's hand.
“I promise. If things start going off the rails or he starts talking about world domination I will call for you. Promise."
“That comforts me."
She replied with a sigh.
“Thank you."
Lilith nodded and smiled to her.
“Welcome. Now, it's Tuesday V. Why are you here?"
“I'm doing some trading with Drin. He's acquired a few spells I am interested in."
“Trying to gain power like Master?"
Lilith asked. A teasing tone in her voice. Minerva gave her a side eye glance then mumbled.
“Not the point…I am a witch. Magic is my thing."
“Long as you know the truth."
She shrugged and moved back behind her counter. Minerva watched her then nodded.
“True…alright I am off. See you Thursday for our lesson. Getting towards the end here Lilly. Soon you'll be off on your own. I am proud."
Lilith smiled to her. Happy as can be.
“Thank you V. I think I'm coming to terms with myself. Understanding my place and my own powers. Thanks for the help."
“No problem. You're a wonderful student."
><
Lilith mused over her conversation with Minerva all afternoon. It was slightly troubling how quickly she had turned on Brogdrin. Worried he would just fly off the handle and end everything. He was a part of everything and so was she. No way he would do such a thing.
As evening came Lilith headed towards the mess hall for dinner. It had been a while since she had seen her Master.
Rounding the corner her mood instantly changed when she saw him. He stood just outside the door greeting his workers as they entered. His handsome smile a welcome sight. Lilith came right up to him and caught his eyes.
“Evening Master!"
“Good evening Lilly."
He said with his amazing smile.
“How was your day?"
“Great as always Master!"
She exclaimed happily. Just glad to see his face again.
“We got those new books this morning so I spent most of the day logging them and putting them away. Thank you again sir for getting them. Means the world to me. To all of us."
“Of course. I care for all of you and that library. Let's eat together Little Flower. You can tell me about your day."
“I'd like that Master. Yes please."
Brogdrin settled with Lilith at his table and listened intently to her whole day. Lilith left out her visit from Minerva. She had no doubt in him and the conversation really went no-where.
In between her stories a few workers came to greet him and just say hello. Lilith enjoyed watching the way he lit up when his workers were sweet to him. No one had tried to leave since the whole Alex uproar. Lilith felt comfort in the fact that those who did remain were loyal and true.
Poppy eventually wandered over and Lilith greeted her with a smile.
“Hey Poppy."
“Evening Lil. Hello Master."
Lilith watched Brogdrin smile to her. She knew Poppy held a special place in his heart.
“If you've come to ask about your letter I sent it out this morning. I hear Baxter is all worked up over you."
Poppy blushed and covered her face in her hands.
“If he's acting up I can yell at him for you Master. I don't want him causing you any problems."
“I'm sure you could control him better than me."
Brogdrin said with a laugh.
“Once his letter returns I will find you. Promise."
“Thank you Master."
“You're welcome. Everything else alright?"
“Perfect Master. Since I got my new bed for Christmas I've slept wonderfully. No issues here sir."
“Glad to hear it."
Poppy folded her hands behind her back and spoke softly then.
“I have something to ask of you Master. I've been here for a long time. Loyal and true the entire time. Never caused any waves in your pond. Nothing."
Brogdrin crossed his arms and gave Poppy a sly smile.
“This is true. Only other worker who's served as well as you sits beside me."
Lilith blushed and adverted her eyes. He always made her turn colors and all she was trying to do was listen to Poppy. Wondering what she wanted from her Master.
Poppy laughed as she nodded.
“Yes sir. So I was wondering…for my yearly wish…if I could go visit Baxter at Ballgrouf."
Lilith was surprised. She looked to Brogdrin who just gazed happily at Poppy.
“Of course. I'll allow a weekend. Return Monday. Sound fair?"
Poppy clapped her hands excitedly hopping up and down.
“Yes Master! Much more than fair! I'm so excited! Thank you so much!"
Brogdrin chuckled. He looked happy.
“You're welcome Poppy. You are right to hold yourself higher than the others. You have stalked these halls as long as I have."
“I love it here sir. I'll never leave…besides to visit Baxter."
“We don't count that. Obviously."
He joked with a wave of his hand. Lilith felt so happy for Poppy. Knowing she had someone to call her own was just heart melting. Brogdrin spoke with her for a few more minutes than she was off to tell everyone how excited she was. Lilith looked to her Master and smiled to him.
“You are so kind Master. You just make everyone here so happy."
“Makes me happy. Especially now."
He reached out and slid his hand over her shoulder.
“I feel more emotion now. It comes easily to me. Happiness, excitement, kindness. Almost like I am feeling them for the first time. This soul thing I could get used to."
Lilith giggled and nudged against his hand.
“Happy to help Master. Means you can love me viciously."
“I know I do."
He nodded. Silvery eyes focused on her.
“I cannot explain it any other way. Especially now."
“I trust you Master. We are finished our dinner. Can we start our alone time?"
“I'd like that."
She stacked up their plates then gathered her bag to leave. Brogdrin stood before her a let out a soft growl.
“It has been too long since I have touched you Little Flower. I want you to expect to be pinned beneath me tonight, with your consent of course."
She shivered gazing up at him. That all familiar ache building in her core.
“You have it Master and I always expect it when we are alone. When it doesn't happen I am quite sad."
“Sly thing you."
He growled and nudged her in front of him.
“Let's go then. To our room."
Lilith nodded and smiled to him.
“Yes sir. Our room."
><
Lilith felt a bit frisky when she arrived to their room. Flirtatious thoughts buzzed through her head as she watched her Master make them a snack. His handsome purple robes hung off his shoulders perfectly. Framing him as this large beast of a man. Even more exciting to her was when he was in his demon form with the robes. His big blocky wolfish head with the horned ears just lit a fire inside her like nothing else. Gazing over to him from the couch she called to him.
“Mas-ter."
“Yes Lilly?"
He answered quickly and without turning to her. Busy mixing up a bowl. She smiled and folded her hands in her lap.
“Could I ask something of you sir?"
“Of course."
“Master, you can change into your demon form…thing at will right?"
She asked gazing over at his broad back. Studying the purple fabric.
“Yes, whenever I want. And I have always called it my pelt."
“It is still you sir. That makes sense. Could you do it now?"
Lilith watched him turn and look back to her. A puzzled expression on his face.
“Why?"
“Well it is your “true" form sir. And I do enjoy your fur."
Lilith fiddled with her fingers in her lap. Meeting his eyes she said.
“I like you like that Master. Could you?"
“Since you ask it of me yes."
He turned back to his work and Lilith watched as fur overtook his skin. His burly body molded and rumpled until he stood his seven and half feet tall. Horned ears sat atop his head. That stripe of red fur racing down under his robes and ending at the bottom of his haunch. Lilith smiled and clapped her hands.
“So handsome Master! You are just magnificent."
She heard him laugh softly, his bushy tail wagging side to side. A slow happy wag.
“Thank you Lilly. I am glad you like me in this form. I was afraid this would scare you."
“Maybe before Master. When I was timid and scared of my own shadow. Now I am Lilith the Fierce. Apprentice to Brogdrin the Great sir. Nothing scares me."
He laughed again.
“I believe that to be true."
Lilith just sat and watched him work in the kitchen. Studying the way his burly body moved compared to his human form. Graceful now, like each movement had years of thinking behind it. Pointed ears pivoted atop his massive head as he worked. Seemed to focus on whatever he was looking at. He looked like something out of an old history book. Meant to scare people away from the demon world.
Snapping out of her thoughts when he came over to join her. She smiled up at him and patted the couch beside her.
“Master…do you shed? Like a dog? I don't mean to be rude or anything sir. Bronco sheds like crazy."
“I take no offence just know I am not a dog."
His big body settled beside her and Lilith immediately picked up his large paw. Casting her gaze down to his black paw pads she said.
“I understand sir. I won't call you one ever. I'm just curious."
“I do not shed. Nor drool or bark."
Lilith giggled and looked up to his blocky head.
“I dunno Master. You've drooled a bit in bed."
He scoffed and thumped his tail against her side.
“I don't drool. Any more questions?"
“Can you howl Master?"
“Yes and roar. I make a few animalistic sounds. I growl all the time."
“What about that bellowing sound you make when you fight sir?"
“Demon sounds. I save them for real fights. Snarling and growling is intimidating but people know I am serious when those kinds of sounds come out."
Lilith nodded turning her attention back to his paw pads.
“You wag your tail."
“I do."
He sighed playfully, flexing his claws in her hand.
“One “dog" thing I cannot seem to break myself of."
“Well I like it Master."
She folded his clawed fingers into a fist then asked.
“What about…your penis…"
He chuckled and his muzzle moved into the crook of her neck. Blushing fiercely as his tongue traced her throat he murmured against her skin.
“You handle it quite well for a human. What about it?"
“It's…different and like you said you aren't a dog Master. I am just confused as to why you different down there."
“Well then."
Brogdrin leaned back into the couch smiling to her.
“Guess I should explain then. I am not a dog but I am of the canine family. My father modeled me after an ancient beast of the old worlds. Lupine like I bare traits from that animal family. My appearance is similar to a wolf in your eyes."
“So…sir…like the canine family you can form that knot at the base?"
Lilith asked turning towards him. Pulling his paw into her lap to hold his hand. Trying to show him she was just curious and not grossed out by him. She had read anatomy books on quite a few different species and was familiar with how the canine family reproduced.
His eyes dragged away from hers as he spoke.
“Yes I can. It's only for a minute or so. Not like real wolves that can stay locked for 30 minutes."
“Don't be scared Master. I don't think it's gross or weird."
“It's odd to speak about this with a human."
He confessed in a sigh.
“Not saying it is bad or uncomfortable just strange. Just ask your questions and I will answer."
“Alright sir, the knot. It keeps you inserted in the female. Even humans?"
“Yes I can choose to use it or not."
He leaned back into the couch parting the shaggy fur between his thighs. Lilith peered down at the slit in his protective sheath.
“Without going into too much detail I control how far I come out of my sheath."
“Full control? Like you could show just the tip?"
He chuckled and looked to her. Lilith adverted her eyes quickly. Her hands pressing into her fire red cheeks. Embarrassed by all this suddenly.
“Yes, full control. Don't get all shy now Little Flower. You told me it's alright."
“Sorry Master."
Lilith fanned her face struggling to bring her eyes back to his. He smiled to her only making things worse. She willed her cheeks to turn back to normal as she continued with her questions.
“When we laid together in the cabin…sir…you weren't…fully…out…?"
“Not fully no."
He replied with a laugh.
“You're adorable. I don't need to expose myself fully to find release. Because of the sheath in this form I am very sensitive down there."
“So if you can control how “big" you are."
Lilith's eyes wandered down his robes to his big thighs.
“Why can't we lay together?"
“It can sometimes be painful for humans."
Brogdrin sighed out his words and Lilith watched his paws relax into his lap.
“I am rather large and with the added knot it could hurt you."
“All humans or just me?"
“All humans."
She met his eyes as he spoke.
“Like I said. I am a larger male."
“Master…even without the knot?"
“Yes, I couldn't bare it if I hurt you like that."
He let out a soft whimper and his pointed ears disappeared into his fur. Lilith reached up and gently petted his muzzle.
“Would it be worse with the knot sir?"
“Yes."
His eyes pinned to hers as her fingers traced along his jowls.
“The purpose of locking is to prevent another male mating with a female. When I lock someone I slip into the actual cervix and that can be painful for humans. Now I can only lock for a few moments and its during my own release that it happens, if I allow it too."
“Do you like it Master?"
Lilith leaned into his body gazing up at him. Watching him struggle for words she cuddled up to him. Trying to provide some comfort.
“Yes, I do."
“Well…I want to try."
“Lilly…"
“What?"
She sat up away from him.
“I think I should have a choice here Master. It is me you would be going inside."
“I don't want to hurt you."
“We haven't even tried yet."
Lilith gave him a kind smile and touched his snout.
“Won't know until we try. The second I don't like it or feel any kind of pain I will tell you. Because I trust you. Even if we have to stop I always enjoy tasting you like that Master. Slips down my throat so easily in that form."
He let out a soft moan and leaned into her hand petting him.
“True…I don't know…"
Lilith pushed herself into his lap, straddling his thighs she looked him right in the eyes.
“You asked me to trust you when you tied me up. I was nervous but I put my trust in you. Knowing you would stop if I needed to was a great relief. Put the same trust in me Master. I will let you know the second something happens that I don't like. I promise."
His restraint snapped in his eyes as his head nodded slowly.
“Alright."
“Good, thank you Master."
“Not tonight."
She nodded watching his expressions.
“That's fine sir. I'd like to see you in your full glory before we lay together."
Giving him a joke she smiled.
“I thought you were big in the cabin Master. Lucky me falling for the demon of lust. Always something fun to try sir."
A wicked smile spread across his muzzle as his ears pinned down again.
“I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Being with someone as new as you is exciting. I get to show you everything."
“And train me sir."
She pushed into his furry chest, cuddling closer.
“I want to handle you as best I can so we can have great alone time."
“You handle me just fine Little Flower."
His paw ran up her back and then dragged through her hair.
“You've handled me well since we first starting sleeping together. Not often my knees grow weak."
Nuzzling her head into his neck Lilith let out a soft sigh, content.
“Makes my ending much-much better when I know it was me who made you groan Master. I thought dog style was my favorite…but I like being atop you so much more."
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her.
“Doggy style. Not dog. You're adorable. But yes I do enjoy that position with you. Always reminds me how tiny you are when you sit atop me."
Cheeks flushed as Lilith let out a soft giggle.
“I am much smaller than you aren't I Master? Almost too small."
“Almost."
His soft purring growl right next to her ear made chills race up her spine.
“It takes a good amount of strength to stay buried between your legs when you cum. Always trying to push me out Little Flower. Why do you think I press so tightly against you when we finish? I enjoy feeling your little hole ripple around me while you cry my name out."
Lilith's whole body shivered and she pulled away to gaze at him. Silver eyes were playful as he smiled to her. His thick tongue lapping between his teeth a few times.
“Feeling that always drains me."
“I tried to copy what happens down there when I kneel before you sir."
Toying with her chain between her breasts she stared at him.
“You seem to like it a lot when I do that with my throat."
“I like everything about your magnificent throat."
Brogdrin gripped up her shirt in his fist and pulled her close to drag his tongue across her neck.
“I swear one day you may actually swallow me."
Lilith covered her face with her hands hiding into his chest fur. Her whole body felt warm with his words. She loved when he spoke like this to her.
“I'll try Master…"
“I know you will."
He nuzzled her neck tickling her skin with his short whiskers. Lilith giggled pushing away.
“You haven't forgotten about our snack have you Master?"
“I did."
He sighed hugging her tighter.
“I was having too much fun with you. Let me up so I can finish it. Should be another twenty minutes."
Lilith hopped off his body and helped him stand with her.
“I'm going to bathe Master. Get into my nightgown, I'm ready to relax and get comfortable. What are we doing tonight? A walk? Painting?"
“Painting sounds good."
He squeezed her hand and leaned down to nuzzle her cheek.
“I have to practice my trees with my teacher. Go on and bathe and I will have our snack ready by the time you return."
Lilith was all smiles as she looked at him. He made her so happy.
“Thank you Master. I love you."
“I love you too Little Flower."
