Carlisle yawned and pulled himself to his feet with a huff and stretched his body was aching slightly probably from the hard job he had before.
He scratched himself slightly with a grunt still half asleep before heading for the shower he spent a good 10 minutes washing himself down he always felt unclean after a kill even though he had showered the night before. He let the soothing jets cascade over his flesh it felt so good before grabbing the coal tar soap and scrubbing it into his pelt.
Carmen yawned and stretched languidly, her slender body suddenly a cacophony of cracks and creaks as her muscles and joints stretched and relaxed. She shuddered slightly and pulled her errant silk covered duvet up over her chest, only for it to slip back down again. With a roll of her huge, captivating eyes she slipped her legs out from under the warmth of the blanket and over the edge of the bed. She winced asher paws hit the floor, it was freezing! She mentally resolved to buy a rug as she forced herself up and out of bed and sashayed towards the bathroom. Turning on the shower she waited for it to heat for a moment before stepping in and scrubbing herself down, always more satisfied by a morning shower than an evening one. Tilting back her head she let the steaming water cascade over her furless face and found her mind drifting back to the scar-littered male she had encountered the previous evening. She had enjoyed his company, which surprised her as she usually found that people bored her very quickly. Besides which she was rather fond of scars, and he had more than his fair share. A small smile crossed her maw and she checked herself quickly, replacing it with a delicate frown. It didn't do to get attached to people, especially hitmen! ...Though he had a certain something about him... As though he'd be more of an interesting companion than the average dog... Somehow. Perhaps she was just taken by his brutal line of work... Who knew? She did like a bad guy.
Carlisle stayed in the shower a bit longer easing the aches out of his tense muscles although he was not quite as tense as before due to the massage the night before. He grinned thinking about the captivating female before shaking himself such thoughts were not good especially when he had things to do.
A shiver ran through him which had nothing to do with the cold he turned off the shower and tied a towel around his waist before drying himself off and getting dressed he would go for a coffee at the local cafe before he met up with the boss to find out who he wanted him to whack today.
It was still morning so he had a few hours yet to fulfill his task, his thoughts went back to the chance encounter with the female and he found himself wondering if he would meet up with her again.
Sitting at her ornate black dressing table Carmen ran a brush through her hair and blow dried it quickly; thankful that it was naturally straight and glossy and required little preparation to look pristine. She then applied her makeup with practiced ease and strutted to her wardrobe and swung the doors open wide to examine its contents. She took in the plethora of outfits and smiled broadly, she loved the finer things in life and her clothing collection was immense. After a moments deliberation she snatched out a Black figure hugging dress with a black and white polka dot tie up top half which barely concealed her ample cleavage. She chose a small black fur shrug to go with it and a black and white polka dot headscarf to complete the look. Crossing to her bedside drawers she picked out a sheer black lace lingerie set complete with seam backed stockings and pulled them all on quickly. She was beginning to get chilly. Without pausing to look at her underwear clad self in the mirror she pulled the dress over her head and tied the top half tightly over her breasts, before quickly fixing the headscarf into place and finally throwing on the shrug. Finally giving herself a brief check in the mirror of the dressing table she made for the door of her apartment, snatching up a black satin clutch bag which contained her keys on her way. She sashayed down the stairwell with her head held high, stepping out into the street and glancing both ways before resolving to head out for a spot of coffee to help combat the mild hangover she was nursing.
Carlise chose a window seat and was nursing the cup of extremely strong coffee he too had a hangover after hitting the whisky hard the night before. He groaned slightly putting his head in his hands and shook his head before taking a bite of the dutch apple danish he had grabbed. He did not usually eat breakfast but he felt that today food would do him good as the hangover would not do. He drank the coffee and cast his gaze over the neat little park opposite a view he enjoyed seeing as he had not always had an inner city lifestyle. He sighed thinking back to the night before he could not get the female out of his mind his stubby feather duster like tail wagged subconsciously and he seemed to stare off into space a dreamy look on his face his one good eye seeming to glaze over slightly as he daydreamed about the striking female he had met the night before.
Carmen strode down the street with her head held high and her chest thrust forward. In her mind, it didn't matter how you felt, looking good was imperative. Despite her pounding head and the fact that the sun hurt her eyes she kept her posture confident as she strutted past dozens of distracted commuters. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a few women scowling, and just caught one slapping her partner on the arm as his gaze followed Carmen's shapely figure. She smirked as she heard the sound of the slap, the oaf should learn to be more discreet! For her own amusement she turned and winked salaciously at the unfortunate man, who got an even harder slap when his mouth literally fell open. The woman with him clearly considered starting a fight with the passing cat, but apparently it was easier to chastise her partner for his wandering eye. She laid into the poor fellow loudly, shouting and swearing. Carmen strutted on, her amusement at the scenario fading as her need for caffeine grew. Her hug eyes roamed as she searched for an appropriate watering hole, and she suddenly caught sight of a familiar face sat i the window of a cafe nearby. It was Carlisle. He looked dreamy, and worse for wear. She smirked at that, at least she wasn't the only one suffering! Changing her course she made her way towards that little cafe, putting a little more of a wiggle in her walk in case he caught sight of her before she made it to him. Perhaps she could coerce him into buying her coffee seeing as he was the cause of her hangover to begin with! Stepping up into the cafe she made her way over to his table and smiled seductively down at him, never EVER letting her overtly sexual mask drop in public. 'How's the coffee here handsome?' She asked.
Carlisle yawned he was deep in thought mentally stripping the female before he had a dirty mind he had to admit probably all the times he had been with someone lots of one night stands never one to stick.
He guessed that the females couldn't stand the scars sure he was good in bed he'd had no complaints but when it came down to it no one wanted to date a hitman nor one as badly disfigured as he was.
He was pulled from his daydream a slight blush coming to his muzzle when the object of his dreams came sauntering in through the door. Damn that was some walk, he could not help but give her a quick look over with his one good eye the other lifeless and an opaque milky blue. "Hi good to see you again and the coffee is good that is why I come here the best coffee in the whole of London."
Carmen caught his quick flick of a scan over her body and her smile warmed, she loved the attention. Somehow the fact that only one eye saw her added to her appreciation of the look... It made the cruel side of her want to dance in and out of his view by side stepping, but she did not. She saw herself reflected in his milky eye as she leant over him, her breasts at face level as she put both hands on the table. Pausing briefly she squeezed in her elbows to amplify her assets, to allow him to enjoy the view before lowering herself into a seat opposite him. 'Well that is good news' She purred 'I feel a little less than fresh this morning Mr. Blackburn... Something to do with your generous nature yesterday evening I believe.' She paused and sighed, looking his over as she shrugged off her fur. She thought she might have seen his feather duster tail wag a little, but she wasn't certain. 'Perhaps you can make it up to me by providing my morning pick me up?' She suggested flirtatiously. 'It won;t do for me to be exhausted all day when I have so much to arrange.' She winked.
Carlisle smiled slightly his tail did indeed wag and when she plumped up her arms to her bosoms he grunted slightly an almost imperceptible shiver going through him with a grunt. He was feeling a little aroused by the fact his muzzle flushed slightly as his eyes took in the sight before him he was a red blooded male so it could be expected. He got up and nodded bowing his head slightly before heading over to the counter a slight bulge showing as he got up. He made his way to the counter and ordered two coffees his tail wagging as he headed back with the two steaming coffees and a pain au chocolat he placed them in front of her with a smirk. "There you go my lady I thought you might be hungry."
Carmen heard his aroused little exclamation and her ears twitched slightly. She smiled slightly to herself, unnoticed by him as she caught sight of his predicament when he stood up. She liked the fact that he did not try to hide his state of arousal, he was confident in his own skin, scarred though it may be. He oozed confidence in fact... Confidence and sex. Something about him had her hot under the collar, not that she'd have ever showed any kind of feminine weakness. Perhaps it was pheromones? He eyes were glued to his arse in those becoming suit trousers he wore as he walked away. Her wanton smile warming and reaching her eyes when he turned and she saw he had not only coffee but also something to eat in his hands... And his tail wagged behind him too. Her own lashed and twitched quickly as her mind raced with thoughts of what he might loo like under his suit. She consciously made the twitching stop and smoothed down her dress to distract herself before she reeked of the curiosity she felt... She knew his sensitive canine muzzle would soon pick up her intentions if she didn't keep herself in check. She watched him place down the items he had bought and gratefully scooped up a cup, taking a long sip before he had even begun to inform her the food was for her. She already knew that of course. 'Thank you darling' She purred out the 'aaahhhh' in the word, sounding ad posh as her background was, not that she ever spoke of her family and the money she came from. Placing down her cup she picked up the chocolate pastry and decided to give him a little show to brighten his morning. Tearing off a small piece she popped it slowly into her mouth and uttered a quiet 'mmmm' She held his gaze intensely as she placed the remainder of the pastry on the plate. She put the tip of her index finger in her mouth and sucked it clean; then snaked out her tongue to lick the pad of her thumb, the motion slow and deliberate. 'Thats delicious... Thank you for your generosity.' She reached again for her coffee and sipped it delicately, as though the teasing had never occurred and glanced at him over the rim of the mug. Her eyes dancing with feigned innocent amusement. He gaze as always drawn towards his milky eye, captivated by its uniqueness.
Carlisle sat back down opposite her drinking his coffee a smile on his face as he wagged his tail watching her eat he sighed with a slight smirk. How come when she even ate it was sexy damn at this rate he wouldn't want to leave a shiver went through him and he took a bite of what was left of his danish to stifle the noise it had been a while since he had been in the company of such a female he wagged his tail again a shiver going through him he was aware of his slightly musky scent damn....he hoped she didn't smell it. He watched her seemingly enraptured by her she had ensnared him alright hook line and sinker he was just glad she liked him as if she was an enemy he would be done for.
Carmen saw Carlisle's tail wag out of the corner of her eye and behind her cup her smile grew. Only when she lowered the mug to the table did she smell the faint musky scent that suddenly seemed to be clouded around him. She wondered if he could think straight with a mind so occupied by sex, that made her smirk. She functioned just fine and she rarely thought of anything but! She watched him chew the danish he had been eating when she arrived and forced herself to start a conversation... Or else they risked sitting gawping at one another for hours. 'So... Busy today are you Mr. Blackburn?' She leant back in her chair, once again picking up her mug of coffee and taking a sip.
Carlisle cocked his head and swallowed the danish before sipping the coffee he was grateful for the conversation because otherwise he may have been a wreck. "Later this evening yes, never work days always nights, I'm generally not up at this hour at all I'm usually in bed until at least 15:00 but today I had things to do so I'm up early and I'm glad I was as I was graced by your beautiful visage." He grinned and ran a hand through his spiky hair letting out a small sigh he would have to be careful because if his mind wasn't on his job he could be seriously hurt or killed it was very dangerous and the fact worried him a little not that he'd ever show it.
Carmen was oblivious to Carlisle's internal concerns, as far as she was concerned he was unfazed by anything. A true blue, old blooded killer for hire. 'Of course' She replied 'I expect day time activities are too risk heavy for someone in your line of work.' She paused and considered the thought of him in bed. 'Three pm is your morning usually... That sounds like a nice lifestyle! Not that my own is particularly different when I'm working.' She left the statement ambiguous, wondering if he'd think she were a common hooker thanks to her brazen nature. At length, after draining her coffee, she continued. 'So You'd rather be inn bed right now I take it?' Her eyes fluttered and she raised an eyebrow.
Carlisle nodded and wagged his tail letting it slip to the back of his mind he smiled and stretched popping some of his joints as he did so a yawn coming from him. "Yeah, don't want the police on my back do I? I have a clean slate I want to keep it that way." He sighed and almost spat out his coffee as she almost hinted she wanted to spend some time in the bed with him his muzzle flushed slightly an ear falling back. "Well I uh, normally am in bed at this hour and if asked on a normal day I would say yes but I'm glad of the company." He did not know why this female had that effect on him he shivered slightly with a small whine and licked his canines slightly.
Carmen loved the affect she was having on the burly ale before her, in her mind she mentally undressed him and played a game with herself of 'guess the scar location.' She bet he was covered in them, the thought almost had her shuddering herself. 'A clean slate?' She raised an eyebrow once more, this time in surprise 'That IS impressive.... I wish I were so lucky myself, I'm only in this city thanks to having to leave the last one... If you catch my drift Darling?' There it was again, her favourite term of mock endearment, though with him she felt it could become a genuine pet name if he played his cards right. 'Though had I stayed I suppose I would not be having the pleasure of your company. Every cloud and all that jazz eh handsome?' She winked. 'Now how about we go for a meander in the city? I could do with A guide being so new and vulnerable.' She stressed the word vulnerable breathily, again hinting at sex. She wondered if he would lead her straight back to his place.
Carlisle sighed finishing up his drink he loved her accent so proper compared to his rough brogue he grinned his feather duster like tail giving a slight wag again be loved her company they had a certain how could he put it...ah yes chemistry.
He drank his coffee with a smirk giving her his arm he smiled one ear falling back slightly again giving him a quite comical expression he wagged his tail again. "Sure I could give you a tour I know a few famous landmarks which you may find interesting."
He knew he would swing her by his house eventually because he knew she would like it a lot seeing as it was an old Georgian two bedroom property. "Yeah and it's been tough nearly got me a couple of times but I managed to give them the slip."
Carmen gracefully rose to her paws and laced one arm through his, smiling at his goofy expression. 'Lucky dog.' She almost sighed, remembering awful things. 'It's not fun being stuck in a cell I can assure you!' She followed his lead as they left the cafe, wiggling her hips as she moved so that with every other step she made a small amount of physical contact with him, brushing against his thigh as she was much shorter than he was. Cheekily she lashed her tail around and brushed it against the back of his thigh, hoping to startle him but suspecting he wasn't the type to be on edge for no reason. 'I do like the sound of a tour though' she looked up at him, tilting back her head so that her hair spilled back fully revealing her neck tattoos. She pulled her fur shrug closer to her chest against the morning chill as they approached the door, her ears flattening a little as a chill gust of wind shot through the doorway.
Carlisle sighed and thought back on how he had got his scars a small whine coming from him. "Don't think I haven't been in a cell I have and it was the worst experience of my life a rival mafia got me and well over the period of six weeks they tortured me there's not much that phases me now after I've been through all that." He shivered slightly as he felt her brushing against him it was as if she was trying to get him aroused and he had to admit it was indeed starting to have an effect on him a light flush rose to his muzzle his ears back. He turned when he felt her shiver shrugging off his heavy trench coat and handing it to her. "You can wear it if you want it will keep you warm, " He just had a short sleeved shirt underneath which was strange with this kind of weather,
Carmen instantly regretted her talk of cells... it was a strange emotion for her, not one that she felt often or felt comfortable with. She blushed slightly, a red tint that coloured her cheeks and the shelf of her bosom. She made sure he did not see it though, and rather than apologising she wanted to changed the subject rapidly. He cut her off this plan of action however by handing her his jacket. She took it and wrapped it around herself, taking a good long look at his scarred arms as she thanked him. 'What a gentleman, who'd have thought a hitman would be so chivalrous... On that note perhaps could I ask you a question or two?' She did not wait for him to answer before she continued to speak, knowing he would dodge her questions if he could. 'I am curious as to whether you work for a particular group or if you are freelance?' She looked away from him momentarily to navigate her way past a group of oncoming tourists, gazing at him from across the sea of people with those intense eyes of hers.
Carlisle smiled his tail wagging slightly as he walked on his head cocked slightly surprised that she had actually asked he waited until they had navigated the crowds before talking making sure no one was eavesdropping. "I work for the cosa nostra, my boss is Gabriel I have been in his employ for quite a while my brother told me he was wanting to hire and well I did have experience before but then I was on the side of the law." He smirked wondering how she would react to that not many people knew this fact and in all honesty he preferred working for Gabriel than for the police. Still I'm one of the best there is in town and many people are envious that Gabriel got me."
Carmen's eyes widened when he mentioned his previous employer, he had worked for the law? What if he was undercover...? Instantly she felt a little tense and withdrew a little. Folding her arms across her chest she flattened back her ears and a small growl escaped her. 'You worked for the police?' Her tail lashed behind her, agitated. How did she know he was a safe companion?
Carlisle sighed his ears back slightly he grumbled slightly with a low growl. "Yeah, I did the bastards shot me wounded me badly I almost didn't make it, it was then that I learnt that the law wasn't for me no one had my back and they are meant to do that. So I resigned face didn't fit anyway. What do I have to do to show you I'm not working for them shoot one of them?" He knew she was naturally suspicious of him he growled and stalked off a little way seeing a lone officer taking a leak down an alleyway he aimed and fired a headshot instant kill his gun was silenced and the area was quiet so he knew he was safe. "There that damn cop had it coming he was getting far too nosy for his own good he had been dogging my tail for the past couple of weeks."
Carmen saw his instant change in mood and frankly didn't care, if he was a pig then she wasn't interested anyhow. Then he did something unexpected. He veered off into a side alley and as she turned the corner she saw something she hadn't expected. Carlisle stood with one arm extended, a gun with a smoking silencer pointed at the back of a policeman's exploded head. As She watched her amber eyes widened, the officer sliding to the floor down the wall, ending up in a bloodied heap with smoke whisping up from the back of his head wound. Her nose wrinkled at the foul smell of burning brain matter. 'Well fuck me bad boy...' She muttered quietly to herself. Regaining her composure before Carlisle turned towards her she strutted up to him and moseyed over to examine the crumpled body of the policeman and prodded at him with her footpaw. Turning back to face the hitman she smiled crookedly. 'Well that's one way to deal with them I suppose.' She walked back towards him, stopping only when she was pressed to his chest, sliding in under his extended shooting arm. She raised both hands to his chest and slipped her fingers in between his shirt buttons, caressing his fur teasingly. 'I'm so glad to see you saw the light and left the force... And hats off to you for dealing so.. .permanently with a troublesome follower...' She looked up at his scarred face, staring intently into his eyes, seeing her reflection in his milky blind eye and pouting seductively. 'I don't doubt you're in high demand in your field...' One hand slid slowly down his belly and stopped on his trouser line, searching fingers toying with the button as though to undo it. The danger and possibility of being caught had her all hot under the collar. 'How about I show how it feels to be really wanted...?' She licked her lips, wondering if she looked as predatory as she felt.
Carlisle sighed and reholstered the gun after it had cooled significantly he sighed and shook his head with a growl. "Bastard should know not to mess with me I thought I had made it clear in the past, most officers turn the other way when they see me coming know what's good for them didn't want to end up like Blake over there. He's one of the bastards who made my life hell when on the force he's been desperate to bring me down and well he's down now."
He calmed himself down a bit looking surprised when she cuddled into his chest he smirked slightly his tail wagging slightly. Carlisle shivered he could not help it a grunt went through him and his flesh twitched slightly under her touch he was toned not an ounce of fat on him another shiver went through him was she having him on or was she serious he did not know he had not had a female stick around longer than one night.
Carmen stepped back when Carlisle didn't verbally respond to her statement... perhaps he wasn't as twisted as she was... What did she have to do to get him where she wanted him? Club him over the head and drag him back to her place? Not that she'd ever get close with a dog as dangerous as he was looking to be. 'Do you mind if I ask what happened?' She began making her way back towards the main street as she spoke. 'I mean, to turn around your view of the force so completely. What drove a wedge between you an the others, or were they just arseholes like all policemen?' Suddenly conscious that he might take offence she quickly added 'present company not accepted of course. Really though, we should move it unless you're doing a disposal too?'
Carlisle sighed and his ears fell back slightly as he grunted and put on a pair of gloves and lifted the policeman effortlessly being careful not to get blood on him he waled over to a large skip like bin and loaded him into it closing the lid. "Now that takes care of the trash." He sighed leaning against the wall as he seemed to search back. "Many things they tortured my brother he kindo of looks like me with the scares and allbut the police did it all he accidentally killed an officer when they restrained him not knowing his own strength 10 officers beat the crap out of him I tried to intervene but was pushed back I banged my head fell unconscious when I came around I knew that I would get him out of there he was a mess took months for him to recover I was only 19 years old.
Then later they had staked out the building me and my brother were holed up in I came out and they shot me in the chest and ran past me as I lay bleeding out on the ground, Ironic thing is it was Gabriel who saved me and took me to his hospital wing yeah it's weird he actually has his own hospital with the best staff and surgeons money can buy. "It was then that I thought on who had tried to save me it was the one who we were hunting our enemy and here he was saving my life.. So there you have it the turning point to when I left the path of righteousness. Anyway we better get out of here, oh and by the way do you like pies? you're just off Fleet Street where Sweeny Todd supposedly did business rather ironic isn't it?"
Carmen couldn't help the wicked smirk that crossed her maw at Carlisle's 'throwing out the garbage'. The quip he made appealed to her dark sense of humour and it was all she could do not to let out a little chuckle. 'Jesus' She replied when he had finished recounting his tale. 'The police disgust me, and your poor brother... did he pull through too?' She had to ask. 'Gabriel sounds like a fallen angel as far as you're concerned, I suppose even the wicked will look after their own if they see potential? ... I guess the hospital makes sense too, I can't imagine many goons being quite so efficient as that little display you just put on.' She waited for him at the mouth of the alleyway, watching him shed his gloves and thinking how cool and calm he seemed. She liked that. That subtle psychopathy. 'Yes we'd better move our tails quickly I suppose. And pies, I can't stand them, but I do like a nice horror story. I didn't realise we were so close to the demon barber's streets. How delightfully despicable!'
Carlisle nodded with a grin he sighed. "Yeah we're all just fine he's had a few more holes put in him as late but he carries on ticking a cop strafed him he had bullets in his legs buttocks and back but he survived and we managed to get him away to another one of our associates he's fighting fit now we look like opposites both of us are missing sight in one eye. He is an enforcer at a strip club associated with Gabriel he does alright pretty good actually. Considering how his life was to start off with he generally keeps a low profile for obvious reasons. Yeah, Gabe's alright he even adopted a couple of waifs and brought them up as his own."
He followed her out with a smirk walking by her side with a light laugh. "Oh if only the demon barber was still around it would make my job easier " He smirked his tail wagging slightly as he walked a little closer to her.
Carmen scowled at the mention of a strip club being so closely associated with someone she'd like to get along with. Though she decided that social etiquette demanded she addressed the happenings which had affected Carlisle's brother before she broached the subject. 'Your poor brother.' She remarked, wondering if her concern came off as sincere, she rarely ever 'did' concern for those she had never met, it simply wasn't in her nature. 'Still, I'm sure if you look half as alike as you say you do then he must be doing ok for himself.' She winked vivaciously. As Carlisle continued to talk of the butcher she found herself enjoying the closeness as he slowly inched closer to her whilst they walked. She bumped him with her hip and smirked up at him, at length finally saying. 'I take it Gabriel would hardly relish a rival strip club...? You see my expertise is fairly narrow and I do almost nothing as well as I do directing a gaggle of buxom beauties into unseemly activities...' She ticked that over in her head as she spoke. Her ideal business venture was screwed before it had even started.
Carlisle cocked his head with a smirk his tail wagging slightly "In to that are you? I've never stepped into a strip joint before but if you did I might have to pay a visiit.£ He winked at her and nudged her playfully showing a completely different side . "You never know Gabe might be willing to help you set it up for a small stake in it he's always after new enterprises like say a cut of 20%" He smirked he was never one for the strip clubs he generally found his girls in bars and he hadn't had any female company for months and none as beautiful as this one he did not know why but he felt himself ensnared in her claws he thought that maybe she was just toying with him like a cat with a mouse but in actual fact he was enjoying it all.
Carmen almost tripped over her own feet in shock. 'You've never been into a strip club? Really...? A hitman for hire, musclebound masculine dog with a heavy job, and you'veNEVER been into a strip club?! My my Mr. Blackburn you ARE a special breed of dog.' She squeezed his arm good naturedly to show she wasn't genuinely taking the piss and chuckled to herself. 'Though I suppose breasts are free to look at wherever you look these days! Thankfully I'm in a slightly more specialist avenue and I'm fairly certain I'll never be out of business.' She winked, deliberately leaving the idea ambiguous. She was amused by his sudden complete change in demeanour; the softer side he momentarily let shine through. '20% is a little steep if he's providing no services for me...' She mused 'Though if he were keeping clients filing through the doors it might be worth it... Perhaps I need to meet this mysterious boss of yours?'
Carlisle laughed and shook his head with a smirk he scratched the back of his neck looking a little shame faced. "I haven't had the company of a female for about three months now been far too busy, you're the only one I have talked to and well erm.... you are by far the prettiest." Carlisle growled inwardly he could have bit himself there goes the cool demeanor now she'd probably think he was desperate. "You can meet Gabriel he's not busy hes' working in a building not so far from here I need to see him about something anyway. Oh and you'll get something out of it free body guards and business protection, early alerts for when a cop turns up that kind of thing. Exactly what he offered for the other business but he owns half of that one."
Carmen was taken aback by his sudden honesty. Given his line of business she had expected getting true emotion like embarrassment out of him would have been like getting blood from a stone. Unsure initially of how to respond, the moment slipped by as he continued to talk, and inwardly she chastised herself for not grabbing him and kissing him there and then. There was something so magnetic about him... between them... She couldn't explain it rationally and so she let the thought slide, irritated by it a little and confused by her own emotions as well as his. Considering the situation with the local mob boss she outed to herself and then turned on the charm with her new companion. 'Well, that does sound like a reasonable deal, and to be under the wing of the local leader of the underground scene... as it were.. might not be such a harmful endeavour.... Perhaps if you put in a good word for me -' She leaned in close to him momentarily as they walked, her tail stroking down the length of his spine. '-Perhaps he might be more inclined to take me on. I'll definitely be needing a rendevous with him I think darling'. Again she drew out the aaaahhh in darling, her rich heritage and proper upbringing showing through. 'Where would we have to go to meet such a man?'
Carlisle sighed and walked on by her side he was a little embarrassed and taken aback now so he became a little more aloof not that it showed he just thought she wasn't interested but then again who would be in someone like him he was a brute. "I'm heading over that direction now got some business to talk about so it will work out, heh I will but he has got an eye for a pretty face nearly got him killed that did," He walked on turning a right sticking close to her side as he made his way down a dark alley. "I'll escort you there "
Carmen smirked at Carlisle's admittance that his boss had almost lost his life thanks to a women. Men were so weak, it amused her. 'That wasn't very intelligent of him, it does good for a man to remember that most women are fiends. Not all of us mind you.' She turned to him and put one hand on his scarred arm to stop him, sending out more mixed signals to the huge dog. She ran her fingers over the scars on his forearm and smiled up at him with heavy lidded eyes, moving closer so that her body was almost pressed up against his. Savouring the tease. 'No, some of us know exactly what side our bread is buttered. I'd rather male company almost any day of the week.' She winked, throwing out more ambiguity. With that she turned and began to walk deeper into the alleyway he had led her into. 'That sounds delightful Carlisle, I would love a nice stroll into the darkness with you.' She looked over her shoulder at him and smiled, it was the smile of a hungry predator and a seductive minx all rolled into one. She suspected that to those who knew her better, she probably looked like a shark on the hunt.
Carlisle continued to walk down the alley way he sighed. "Yeah, he was crossing the road his mind only on a spat he had with his mate and he got hit." He looked at her in surprise his head cocked as she ran her hand up his arm and crossed into his personal space he shivered slightly and swallowed he was getting a little affected by her he sighed and followed her as she walked away feeling a little hot under the collar.
'Ouch' Carmen winced 'I'm willing to bet whoever was behind the wheel had to pay the price for that little mistake!' She could hardly imagine a mob boss letting something like that go unpunished! She saw the effect she was having on the burly hitman and desperately wanted to stop and have some fun with him, but she had to keep herself focussed now that she knew she had to get permission to run her business. This Gabriel was the important thing at least for that moment. Carlisle, no matter how sexy he was, would have to wait. 'I trust he is doing well now?' She asked, wanting to sound caring but knowing she sounded distracted. She just couldn't stop looking at him... His frame was all muscle and mentally undressing him was far more amusing than... Wait. What was she thinking? Focus! She forced herself to think, shaking her head in a way that made her ears flick.
Carlisle smirked slightly she might have had a big efefct on him but now he also knew that he had an effect on her but he didn't let on too much he just kept his cool. "Oh he's alright but he's been left with a bad limp but it probably will get better with time his leg was shattered." He turned a corner and took the back entrance to a large building taking her into the club part of the headquarters. "I'll take you to his office."
Carmen mulled that over for a moment before finally replying 'well it could have been a damn sight worse than a limp I suppose, so I think in that respect he was lucky.' She followed him into the building, looking around and taking in the sights. She very quickly realised she was the only cat there... That made her a speciality flavour, and would definitely work in her favour. So, by the looks of it, would the fact that she was hairless. She didn't see a single other furless fur in the building. 'Thank you for this Carlisle' She said with genuine sincerity, even if she did still sound predatory and aloof. 'I think its good to meet the local bosses early on... I hope he's feeling receptive, I've not been up long enough to tolerate moodiness.' Her short temper was her biggest downfall, she didn't tolerate 'drama' ... and her lack of willingness to bend to other's ego's had gotten her in a lot of trouble before. She didn't want it to happen again, but he couldn't help herself, it was just the way she was wired.
Carlisle led her to his bosses office with a smirk his tail wagging he laughed slightly. "Don't worry he's in a good mood he got some of his mate last night." He smirked and then knocked on the door as Gabriel came to the door he was much smaller than Carlisle standing at 5ft 11 he looked her over slightly. "What can I do for you miss is it business or pleasure?" He grinned and winked at her slightly he knew he'd probably be in trouble for it with his mate but he couldn't help it.
Carmen winked up at Carlisle 'lucky boy, its been too long since I had that kind of luck. A girl has needs too you know.' She smirked, her blatantness usually stunned people but she knew he'd take it well. The door swung open before them and she was stunned by what she saw. The fur before them was fairly short, much shorter than Carlisle at least. He was well dressed and looked like as much of a womaniser as Carlisle had described him to be, but she could see he was dangerous. She pouted and winked back at him, folding her arms under her breasts to push them up a little, hitting the charm offensive immediately. 'well darling, I'm in the business of pleasure -' A naughty smile crossed her maw. 'But sadly on this occasion I'm here to talk business alone.' She waited to be either invited in or told to fuck off, not certain which way it would swing.
Carlisle winked at her with a grin and winked at her with a smirk. "Yeah, I can imagine bet the boys are lining up for such a pretty creature as yourself." He nodded opening the door and letting her in with a smirk. "Shame, ah well you best come in, Carlisle guard the door." Carlisle nodded and stood outside of the door looking about him as he closed it after him.
Carmen wished she'd had a chance to quip back at Carlisle before he was instructed to guard the door. As it was she didn't, and she felt the loss of his protective presence in the way one might feel the loss of a limb. Its no that she needed defending, but she could have used his knowledge of his boss' demeanour when dealing with him, and she could have fed off his visual cues etcetera... Oh well, she was on her own! She sashayed into the room after the mob boss, realising he was more muscular under his clothes than she had first thought. Not that she was intimidated, it just did well to examine any possible adversary. She already knew sex was a weakness of his... Could she use that? She seated herself and crossed her long, slender legs only once Gabriel had also seated himself. She allowed him a brief Sharon Stone moment, though she was wearing underwear, it was barely there and she knew the sight of it would catch his attentions. 'Thank you for seeing me Gabriel... I'd like to introduce myself a little more... formally. My name Is Carmen D'Leville and I'm new to the area as I'm sure you can probably tell by my cadence. I was anxious to meet you after finding out than you were the man to speak to about my business endeavour.' She looked him up and down seductively, playing a dangerous game, smiling enticingly. 'I'm pleased to be able to make your acquaintance.' She hoped that vague flirtations would be enough to keep things ticking along, she didn't want to get into any physical messes with the way she was feeling about the burly hitman who stood outside the door.
Carlisle sighed pulling out a knife he boredly began to hone his claws to a wickedly sharp point with a grin knowing that oy would come in handy he sighed pity he couldn't be with her but it was the boss's word that went there he grunted slightly and began to daydream slightly he licked his canines slightly thinking about her body. Damn he wished he could get his paws on her but she was way out of his league.
Gabriel smirked he did indeed see her he played it cool though even though he felt the tingle go through his spine and felt stirrings. He could not help it she was a very pretty little thing and man what a chest. "So what business adventure did you want to embark on?" His scent wafted over her slightly musky he grinned slightly leaning back with a relaxed air.
Carmen clearly caught the musky scent of his arousal, minimal though it was it was still definitely there. Good.she could work with that. 'well' she began 'I would like to discuss an idea with you Gabriel. I am aware that you already operate at least one venue similar to what I am thinking of, but what I am proposing will be different. Unique... better.' She paused momentarily as she thought of how to word her proposal, re-crossing her legs in the opposite direction and allowing her dress to ride up just enough to reveal a peek at her suspenders. 'what I would like to do, is to open a gentlemans club like no other... I'm not just talking clapped out hookers. I'm talking high class, beautiful women who'll attend events as well as fuck your brains out. Speciality flavours for any fetish you can imagine, dancers and performers and a dungeon for the more adventurous. Subs and doms for hire. I'm talking a sexual nirvana, a paradise for all you fallen angel's who appreciate the value of a good woman's warm flesh and soft fur...' She smiled, looking every inch the devious sexual predator that she was. 'And I'd be running it perfectly, as only a woman could.'
Gabriel listened to what she had to say she was certainly tantalising he smirked slightly when she gave him a gratuitous flash of her skimpy underwear a bulge appearing in his trousers luckily hidden by the table a barely perceptible shiver going through him. "Sounds interesting a good idea I'm willing to provide you with funds to set it up for a 20% stake and you'll have the best security there is. That is if you are willing of course." He smiled his tail wagging slightly.
Carmen smiled, seeing the tiny shiver that ran through him and really knowing (rather than just having been told) that he was led by his manhood. 'that sounds like a fair offer to me, provided that I am allowed free reign to run the place as I wish? ... Its the only way to assure the perfect atmosphere... The only trouble is that I'm not familiar with the area so ill need an escort to the location.' She leant back in her chair, her tail wrapped elegantly around her knees.
Gabriel nodded and stretched before getting to his feet limping over and staring out the window before turning to her his brush like tail wagging slightly. "Yeah, that is fine I don't do much with the other business just provide the muscle to protect it that is all. The cops are pretty particular about it and there could be sabotage from a rival anything like that so my boys will look after it for you. Ok what kind of escort do you want it can be arranged I'm too busy right now but I have a couple of buildings which are empty." He wandered back to the desk and sat down getting out photographs of two large victorian buildings. "So any you particular like?"
Carmen watched him limp and almost winced at how pronounced the movement was. She had been expecting his movement to be easier somehow, perhaps because he was such a powerful figure in the underworld, and the weak usually went under pretty quickly. When he responded that he wouldn't be able to escort him she quickly responded with 'oh I wouldn't have expected you to go yourself anyway darling, I expect you lead a very busy life.' Then she noticed the pictures he had before him and smiled broadly, both buildings looked large and spacious, and were outwardly very attractive. Either would be perfect. 'Wonderful, they both loo like prime candidates for what I have in mind. Could I take whichever one is furthest from my flat. I like to keep home and business separate. I'm close to fleet street.... And if I may, could I perhaps use Carlisle as my guide, seeing as he's already here? I doubt I'll keep him long.'
Gabriel nodded aking away one of the pictures and pushing the other one towards her handing her the keys from the drawer and a map. "Here you go this one is just off Soho you should get quite the clientele there close to the red light district of London." He grinned and then cocked his head mulling it all over. "Carlisle huh?" He again thought it over before nodding with a yawn he had the brawn alright he would be perfectly capable of looking after her. "Yes, I'm sure I'll be able to spare him for a while he has a hit lined up but I guess I could reschedule that for another day. If you like the building we can get the deeds and all the legal proceedings done tomorrow."
Carmen regretted asking specifically for Carlisle, she wondered if it would get him stick later on from the rest of the mob... Or if Gabriel might keep them apart if he sensed she had a fondness for the burly brute... Keeping these worries to herself she picked up the keys and the map and smiled broadly at him. 'I've heard interesting things about soho, thank you very much. I think it might even almost be close to my hometown in its atmosphere... Brighton is a hard place to compare to in my humble experiences.' She stood and extended a hand for him to either shake or kiss, she suspected the latter. 'I shall take my leave then Gabriel, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.' Her amber eyes sparkled with delight at having found herself a venue for her endeavours so quickly.... and at being about to be back in the company of her favourite hitman.
Gabriel smiled and extended his arm taking her hand showing that his claws were well manicured seeing as he hardly took part in the hits himself although he wasn't adverse to getting his paws dirty. He then kissed her hand a twinkle in his red amber eyes. "Good, I'll get my solicitor to get the affairs together the property is empty but is somewhat furnished but needs a good clean everything is sound order though. It's kind of antique though so don't know if it will be to your taste. Anyway good bye Miss De Leville I'll see you tomorrow just ring when you want to arrange that meeting." Gabriel got up wincing slightly he limped towards the door holding it open for her. "Carlisle, change of plan make sure nothing happens to this lovely lady if it does I'll hold you personally responsible. There was a slight growl in his voice as if to tell him he meant business and that he would do whatever he could to keep her safe or else.....................
Carlisle bowed his head slightly straightening up slightly he pushed his hat back on his head and smiled slightly. "As you wish sir, I think I'll be able to keep her safe."
He smiled slightly somewhat thrilled he would get to spend some time in her company but hid it well he didn't want to give his boss any suspicions to make him think of assigning someone else. "Come on then Misss De Leville, I guess I'll be your personal escort for the afternoon."
Carmen giggled like a schoolgirl when his maw touched the back of her hand, and couldn't help but notice how well groomed he was. His paws were probably cleaner than her own! 'I shall call you soon Gabriel. I may have to make a few changes to the decor though, to make things more comfortable. I trust you don't mind if it puts up the profits?' She asked as she made her way to the freshly opened door, expecting that he would agree if it meant more money. She saw his limp and wondered again at how bad the wound had been. Shattered implied bad, but just how bad, from the look of things she guessed even his hip had been obliterated. She walked past the mob boss and blew him a kiss, her face a picture of deviance. She then sashayed up to Carlisle and smiled up at him. "I apologise for changing the course of your day.' She played along with the act he had begun, her tone was sharp as though he was HER goon and not Gabriel's. Though she knew she would never see him that way, not as a servant... Not like most men she dealt with. She walked away with the muscle bound hitman, listening carefully with swivelling ears for the door to close behind them so that she could relax.
Gabriel smiled and nodded head cocked slightly "You can do as you wish it's all 1920's you can earn a goldmine at the auctioneers." He turned and pulled the door closed with a sigh and limped back to his desk pouring himself a whisky he was no supposed to but one wouldn't hurt.
Carlisle smiled slightly when the door was closed he smirked slightly and walked a little way off away from the door before waiting for her his feather duster tail wagging slightly betraying the fact that he was very glad at the prospect. "Well, I'd rather spend time in a pretty lady's company than whack someone anyday." He offered her is arm. "well shall we, Miss D' Leville " He knew the whole city anyway so he'd be able to show her whereabouts the building was. "So which did you go for, I'm guessing SoHo so much more clients in an area like this and I'll put a word in for your club when you set it up among the boys."
Carmen decided there and then that the main portion of the club would remain in a 1920's style, to present a reputable image to joe public... she could just move some furniture around to make some room for the rooms themselves to be modified... She'd be needing at least one high quality dungeon. She was thankful for he fathers inheritance then, it would serve her well. She wound her arm into Carlisle's once the door had snapped shit, and felt his feather duster tail tickle the back of her dress. She smiled up at him. 'We shall good sir. And yes, Soho it is' She handed him the map she had been given, suspecting he'd already know the location. 'By all accounts it's empty but furnished.. I wonder if that means beds?' She winked up at him, her eyes wide and alluring. In all honesty she wanted to jump him there and then, but she knew she had to contain herself, at least for a brief period, until they were away from Gabriel's building. 'And how nice of you to say... I can think of worse things than spending the day with a muscular man.'
Carlisle smiled and nodded looking at it with a smile. "I know the property well I used to have a penthouse apartment there before Gabriel decided it would be better off sold, I now own a small Georgian property ironically in a really upmarket part of London the rent would be two million alone." He smirked and led her there it was a 20 minute walk from where they were but he was enjoying it and the view was beautiful since it was a nice cold crisp day. "Oh, it still has the beds" He smirks " up to 30, some of them four poster, mine was, the mansion has a large open bar type room which still has it's original star in marble on the floor and it has a very large basement don't even ask what we did down there but it's two rooms about 25 ft each. So I think it would be ample for what you would wish. Don't worry it was deep cleaned when we left the place. used to be our old HQ."
Carmen smiled up at him, her tail twitching a little as she processed all those details. 'You shall have to show me your place one day, I'm rather fond of the finer things in life.' She pouted and smiled all at once. 'The place sounds perfect, I can't wait to see the interior, and it is a relief that I won;t have to pay out to buy the beds. As for the basement... I can think of the perfect use for it... safe to say it'll be soundproofed to keep all those screams under wraps?' She squeezed his arm with her slender fingers, imagining how intense he must be when he was working on something so seedy.... then imagining him in his four poster bed.
Carlisle nodded and ran his hand through his spiky head fur his tail wagged. "Yeah it's sound proofed and has some things down there that some people may not like but maybe just what you are looking for. I won't go into it here as you don't know who is listening." He walked on stopping in front of two large old oak double doors arched he unlocked the padlock and then unlocked the door itself. "You can never be to careful." The doors opened inward with a bit of a creak and an echo going through the large vaulted lobby the 1920s era interior unchanged and untarnished through time. "The bathrooms have been modernised of course and there is a full modern kitchen but it has been sympathetically and tastefully done. So where do you want to look first." He closed the large doorway sunlight streamed through the grimy stained glass windows.
Carmen sauntered into the middle of the huge main room and spun in a tight little circle, taking it all in with her fur shrug whirling around her. A huge smile broke across her maw and she clapped her dainty hands in delight. 'It's perfect Carlisle! You absolute darling you, taking me to your boss to get this place under my name... But what about the rest of the place?' She asked, suddenly realising she had no idea how vast the building was. 'How many rooms are here, could you show me some of them? And I will need to see the basement as that will most likely be the most labour intensive area with regards to getting things ready.' Her amber eyes sparkled as she noticed all the quaint little 1920's details, and we'll be needing a bar of course, and a runway and podiums. I'm hopeful that a man as resourceful as yourself will know some people we can go to for those little touches?' She strutted back over to him, closing the doors and turning, leaning back onto them and throwing out her arms with a blissful smile. 'Its mine! Just look at this place!'She exclaimed delightedly, her smile ever growing. he could almost smell the money.
Carlisle smirked and looked about with a sigh he had missed this old place it had been some time Gabriel had got a bigger premises as his numbers grew and this place was not so spacious. He was glad to see new life breathed into the old place. "Oh it has a bar but I don't know if it would be to your liking it again is very much the twenties thirties theme looks like something from the shining from the gold room. So it may not be what you are looking for that one is adjacent to it. You want to know how big ok, 4 reception rooms, 2 bars, 30 bedrooms, one 40 ft kitchen, one large dining area and of course the basement which runs the whole length of the place so maybe a 200 ft long in total.......by about the same square
The basement is split up into areas each bedroom is an ensuite with whirlpool baths no expenses spared there." He smirked loving how happy she was he could see she liked it and that gave him some satisfaction his feather duster tail wagged slightly. "So where first do you want to see the bar and receptions or see the rooms upstairs first."
'the gold room...' she murmured to herself, her tail flicking in indecision as she thought of what she would do with it. 'That sounds perfect. Perhaps I might change the carpets to make them gold themselves... and add a plethora of art deco nude statues and artwork about the place. And a 1920's style outfit for the barman, or woman, or bar team. Hell, lets say bar team shall we.' She smiled and winked, feeling confident. 'The size of the place sounds perfect' she continued 'large but not too large... though the kitchen will be useless to us, I think it will have to be turned into a changing room for the girls... And as for that basement, I have a lot of plans!' She saw his tail wag slightly and suddenly a thought crossed her mind. 'Is the water still connected my darling? I'd very much like to go upstairs and test if the baths are still in working order...?'
Carlisle nodded and cocked his head and shrugged with a smirk. "The kitchen is all free standing anyway but what will your staff eat?" He nodded he was surprised at what taste she had it was nice to think of the place as going back to it's former glory he grinned at the idea of 1920s uniforms. "That would add a touch of class making it more of an upmarket place to go where you'll mostly be catering for the more discerning lady or gent heh this might turn out to be a real den of iniquity. Where even the most sordid fetish could be catered for I'd draw the line at ferals though that creeps me out."
He thought on scratching his head slightly with a smile. "Yeah it's all on we just turn it off in the winter months and have the heating on tick over so it doesn't get damp. I know it sounds stupid heating an empty building but it saves your money in the long run."
Carmen sighed 'I suppose you have a point, I'll have to move the kitchens about a bit s that one end is where the staff can eat and rest, and the other half can be their dressing room.' She smiled at his comment 'yes it will indeed, a real safe haven for those on the wrong side of the law to come and let their hair down in good company.... As for fetishes, I'll have to cater for as much as I can, but I promise not to expose your sensitive little self to anything too sordid.' She chuckled at the idea of such a fur being bothered by anything, and walked past him towards the stairwell. As she went she cheekily pinched his butt, her fingers running through the fur of his feather duster tail as she went. 'Oh no' she replied over her shoulder as she went by 'the heating being on makes perfect sense to me, though I wouldn't be surprised if you don't have a squatter or two making the most of it... We'll have to get those out if so!... So are you taking me upstairs or not Mr. Blackburn?'
