Power Rangers, Cyberverse: By the Power of Lumeria 01
Had a vague idea for a furry Power Rangers story for a couple of years now, but only recently, and with the help of some friends to iron out the details, I got the sold idea which is Cyberverse.
Earth has been invaded by strange forces that aim to conquer the planet and turn it into a second home. But through the valiant efforts of two individuals of royalty, powerful warriors were born to fight against the invasion when the earth's current heroes were pinned against the wall.
Earth. The year is 3028.
Science has reached various peaks and advanced levels over the centuries, the denizens of the planet also evolving along with their knowledge and technology, giving birth to men and women of amazing supernatural powers. These men and women grew up to be the valiant protectors of the earth as its guardians, its heroes, nothing could stand in their way of keeping the peace and prosperity of their home.
That is… until they met a new threat that was way out of their league.
Solar System, Outerspace.
A meteor flew at high speeds, breaking through the Earth’s atmosphere, crashing into the mountains near the city of Eterna. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to not be a meteor but was a spaceship with a sleek design and colorful crystals embedded on the back, wings, and tip, small enough for two. The cockpit hissed open, revealing the pilot, a naked raptor with light brown scales and dark brown strips along his back and a long, golden mane with a silver streak on the side, missing the large two claws that most raptors are famous for, and the passenger, a tall, slim, human woman with long, snow-white hair, the insides glowing and shimmering with various, slowly rolling and shifting colors and fair skin, her white dress looked almost fully made out of feathers, but one can see the silky cloth when looking closer, her impressive chest pushing against the top of the dress, while her red lipstick and black eyeshadow were a beautiful contrast to her skin tone. “We’re here, auntie. This is Earth.”
The woman looked around briefly. “Let us hope that they don’t find us here…”
“Well…” He said as he snapped his fingers, his body was briefly colored in white light before it faded, leaving some… pretty revealing, but royal-looking clothes to cover him up, completing the look was a pair of nipple rings, a golden ring on the right and a silver ring on the left. “Hope can only get us so far.” He commented as he suddenly punched the main computer of the ship, yanking out wires, hard drives, and microchips. “First, make sure they can’t track us.” Then he and his aunt got out of the ship, holding out his hand and it was bathed in light, shrinking down till it was about the size of miniature, small enough to hold in one hand. “Now, to find a base of operations, plan our counterattack.”
She looked around… then pointed to the mountain they landed beside. “How about there? Should provide a bit of a nostalgic view, yes?”
He gave her a deadpanned look, she always had a flair for design and placement. But then shrugged. “Alright. Sure is better than nothing.” Then both of them turned into orbs of light before flying off into the distance and into the mountain in question.
Meanwhile, ten hours later.
A small fleet suddenly phased into existence, far away from Earth, led by a titanic ship that towered over all of the others. Inside the bridge of this ship, a dark, muscular figure sat on his throne, his mere presence oozing this aura of intimidation and power. “So… this is Earth…” He asked in a bored, unimpressed tone, with his head propped on one arm.
“Such a beautiful and vibrant place, isn’t it?” Another man asked rhetorically, walking up from behind the throne, revealing a less muscular, lean figure, holding an ominous-looking staff. “So full of life.”
“Too bad it’s gonna be gone before these people know what hit them.” Behind them a group of seven individuals of various body builds stood, watching the colorful planet as well.
“Not gone. Just…” The second man started as he sat on the throne, right on one of the leader’s thighs. “A swift change of management.”
“We can’t let our guard down though.” The leader warned, his leathery, reptilian tail slithering up and gently caressing the smaller male’s leg. “The Empress and her nephew are hiding there somewhere, no doubt already planning something.” He held up one hand, a flicker of dark purple flame burned briefly in his palm before disappearing. “And this journey drained us of our powers.”
“Good thing there is plenty of ‘sustenance waiting for us down there.” The smaller male suggested as he stood up, one hand stretched out towards the display of Earth. “Just ripe for the picking.” Then clenched his fist, followed by a low, ominous laugh, his hand now resting on the side of his face, fingers splayed, and his pinkie aiming at his mouth, gently biting at his nail with his teeth. “I prime buffet made for royalty.”
Three years later.
Kenneth Brimstone slowly roused from a very comfortable sleep, managing to get himself untangled from the lean hands of a tabby cat, who was still sleeping peacefully. He smiled down at his boyfriend’s sleeping face, giving his cheek a small peck, giggling as he saw his whiskers twitch.
He made his way to the bathroom and relieved himself real quick, before freshening up and checking himself out in the mirror. Looking back at him was, according to many, a hunk of a dragon, dark grey scales all over with lighter scales for his front, his usually smoothed back, black mane now all messed up and shaggy, even the silver streaks on the sides looked pretty messy.
He stood watching himself in the mirror admiring his muscular body and flexing with a few poses, while his nipple, barbell piercings glinted faintly under the light. “Fuck yeah… they always love this~” He huffed as he stopped flexing, shaking his arms before heading out, quickly putting on some dark-colored boxers and heading downstairs.
His nose instantly picked up the smell of cooking meat, licking his lips with glee as his stomach rumbled softly. He hopped over the last two steps of the stairs, landing with a loud thud on the floor. “Good morning, my dear and beloved mates!”
The other three young men turned from whatever they were doing and greeted him back with smiles, the golden retriever working on breakfast in the kitchenette was wearing literally nothing but an apron, putting his athletic body on display, but was still smaller and less muscular than Kenneth himself. “Good morning, dear ‘husband’.” He said in a playful tone, his tail wagging softly behind him. They weren’t actually married, this was just something between them, calling each other ‘wife’ and ‘husband’ is just Kenneth’s and Jakie’s version of pet names.
“And hello to you too, my dear wife~” Kenneth said back as he hugged him from behind, planting small pecks on his cheek and neck while one hand groped and rubbed at the canine’s pecs, the other sliding down his front and resting on his crotch, finding a semi-wet pussy instead of the expected cock and balls, his fingers teasing those wet folds gently.
“Mmmff… honey, I’m making breakfast he-mff~” His moaned deeply as Kenneth pressed their lips together, the dragon’s tongue slithering about in his mouth and claiming it, once again.
“Oi! So we get the Spatula of Discipline, and he gets the lovey-dovey treatment? Such blatant favoritism!” The biggest male in the house, a tall, beefy crocodile huffed mockingly from his seat on the couch, crossing his thick arms over his large chest, and pouting. He was wearing nothing but a wide-arm tank top and sitting with his legs spread, pretty much putting his own vagina on display.
Jakie huffed softly, legs wobbling a bit from having his nether regions teased like that. “Well, you know the rules, Mark: Man of the house gets priority… Ahh!” He let out a loud moan as Kenneth’s fingers slipped right in, his thighs slowly getting soaked from how much he was leaking at the moment.
Kenneth released Jakie after a little bit of teasing, making his way over to the crocodile and hugging him from behind by the neck, planting a small peck on his cheek while one hand roughly groped and kneaded at one thick pec, with how close they were to each other, the size difference between them was pretty clear. “And good morning to you, babe~”
“Ahem…” The fourth boyfriend, a saluki with the color patterns of a doberman, got the attention of the dragon, twirling the fur of his ear like hair with one hand, trying to look all innocent and casual. His build was similar to Jakie’s but he was more slim and lean, which was mostly covered by the shirt and sweatpants.
“And how can I forget about sweet, little Tyler~?” Kenneth said in a sing-song voice, sliiiding over to him and hugging him from behind. Giving him the expected kiss on the cheek.
“Well, you kinda did last night. Heard you grabbed Jerome instead.” Tyler huffed mockingly.
“Well, you kinda passed out on the couch from drinking too much.” Kenny teasingly accused, nuzzling his snout against his neck.
“Oh… right… Guess I partied a bit too hard, huh?” Last night was the birthday of a friend of Tyler’s.
“You’re forgiven. Just no more drinking, ok?” Kenneth asked in as much a cheery tone as he could, but he was being super serious about this.
“I promise… I’m sorry.” Tyler apologized, looking down at the ground.
“Like I said: You’re forgiven.” He planted one more kiss before moving back over to the kitchen island, taking a seat just as Jakie put his plate on the table. He took a deep breath of the appetizing aroma. “Hooo-boy! You sure know your way around a stove, hun.” Then dug in like a starving animal, taking pretty large bites, no wonder he was finished in seconds and now sat with a cup of tea, taking his time with it. He just loved tea, of all kinds.
Just as he finished, the tabby cat, Jerome, came down, completely naked, rubbing his eyes, and just like the others, he did have the ‘tools’ of a male, unlike the others, he didn’t have much in the muscle department, but it was clear he kept himself in shape. “Mmmorning…” He mumbled tiredly, walking over to Kenneth and sat in his lap, cuddling up to the dragon. “Thanks for last night.” He purred as he nuzzled into Kenneth’s neck.
“My pleasure. You looked a bit down last night, so I figured you might need a cuddle pillow.” Jerome was trying to become a novelist, many of his friends told him that the stories he wrote were pretty good, but so far, he’s been rejected by all publishing studios. Hence why he was not feeling too good last night, that’s where Kenneth came in.
“It’s their loss, honey.” Jakie assured as he placed a smaller plate for the feline, mostly greens, Jerome didn’t like eating too much. “We still love your works and support you fully.”
“Thanks. Truly.” He replied with a smile, a genuine one, hopping out of Kenneth’s lap and grabbing a seat for himself before putting an entire lettuce leaf in his mouth and slowly munching on it. “By ha ay, hab you erd ba newth?” He asked with a mouthful of greens.
Kenneth gave him a small poke on the nose. “One: Swallow before speaking, and two: What news?”
“I’m guessing he’s talking about this.” Mark turned their attention to the large TV of the living room, where a rerun of yesterday’s news was airing.
The news reporter, a slim woman with an ‘hourglass’ figure spoke into the mic. “And even after all this time, we still have no idea what’s causing these strange, and quite violent, changes in people’s personalities.” As she spoke, a smaller screen in the corner switched to what seemed to be a security camera’s perspective at one of Eterna’s many shopping complexes, where a young adult wolf was walking around with his girlfriend or wife, but suddenly began lurching and spasming quite violently… then lunged at her, tearing her clothes off and clearly trying to have his way with her, whether she wanted it or not.
Same thing happened when a cheetah lady had the same thing happened with her, the victim was a friend from work, but instead of having her way with him, she was clawing at him, quite violently, then the view switched to a couple of young men, a bull and crow, this time it was the bull that changed, obviously, with the crow being the victim, with the large bovine grabbing the avian and slamming him against the wall and ground, treating him like a doll he despised and wanted to break. Such a violent and grotesque scene was happening all over the mall.
“We have here the leader of the Guardians of Earth, Mane Might, to give us a briefing of what has been happening.” The camera panned over to a lion with bright colored fur and mane, a pretty powerful build, clad in tight, blue, red, and black, spandex his cape only covering the right side of his body, his mask only covering his eyes to hide his identity.
“We have managed to quickly act on the scene because a few of our operators were already in the mall when it happened. We’ve been pretty vigilant about such incidents when they started happening three years ago.” He spoke in the most stoic tone one could hear.
In the local pub, the Starview, the bartender and owner, a tall grizzly bear with short, dark blonde hair whose uniform was hanging onto his heavily built body by the threads, arms bulging at the sleeves, chest and pecs puffy enough to make doing the last two buttons almost impossible, and no one can miss that small, but very tight and visible gut. He and a few of the patrons were watching the rerun as well. The bear shook his head slowly. “Such dangerous times we live in…” He mumbled to himself but was still loud enough for others close by to hear him.
“Yeah, glad I wasn’t at the mall that day.” An athletically lean, white rabbit with short brown hair with pink tips styled into a small faux-hawk, commented, taking a small sip of his colorful drink, wearing a tight-fitting shirt and skinny jeans. “A friend of mine was though, said the place turned into a freaking warzone in the blink of an eye.”
Beside him, a grey wolf with a small, diagonal scar between his eyes was watching the screen, almost analyzing what was happening. “Who knew children could be such… monsters.” He said in a pretty serious tone.
The rabbit chuckled, giving him a couple of pats on the shoulder. “Well, trust me… they can be.” As he said that, the wolf actually shivered.
“Hey now, Simon. No need to scare him like that.” The bear bartender stepped in, in an almost fatherly tone, even adding a finger wag at the rabbit.
“I’m just messing with him, Alex. Besides, I’m not wrong.” The rabbit, Simon took another sip of his drink looking around… then did a double-take at one of the tables, where a few college jocks were sitting at a table in the far back. Mostly looking at a rottweiler, his brain telling him that he saw or met him somewhere, but couldn’t figure out where.
On another side of the city, in the parking lot of a modeling agency, an otter wearing a fullwas casually walking out, followed by his attendants, a great white shark, a hammerhead shark, each carrying a small bag on their shoulder, followed closely by a whale carrying a bigger back over one shoulder, and a red-eyed tree frog who quickly strode over to walk beside the otter.
Suddenly a chimpanzee burst out of the door and dashed over to the otter, skidding to a halt in front of him, almost comically. “Please wait, Mr. Bloom! We need you here!”
“Your models clearly didn’t want me around, and you know me, I don’t like rubbing anyone the wrong way.” The otter, Frederick Bloom, explained with an even tone, smoothing back his brown hair with blonde strands.
“I know, Freddie, I know. But no need to listen to the ramblings of jealous amateurs-”
“Those two have been at this longer than I have.”
“Just, let’s go back inside and talk it out, yes?” The chimpanzee coiled one arm around the otter’s and pulled him back inside. Frederick could’ve pulled himself out of that grip or one of his attendants could’ve done it, but he wanted to see how far this goes.
Back inside the studio, they went straight to one of the dressing rooms, which was decorated a bit too flashily for Freddie’s tastes, but it would do. “Please wait here until the photoshoot starts.”
The door suddenly BURST open. “What the fuck is going on here?” The two models in question, a slim vixen and lean male panther stomped in. “What the fuck is he doing back here!?” She asked with a clearly irritated tone.
“Oh, um… excuse me for a minute…” The chimpanzee excused himself, dragging the other two outside… then the yelling started. “He’s back here because you two smooth-brains refuse to put in more into your work! If you even put an extra minute of your ‘royal time’ we wouldn’t be in the red as we are! We’re already behind people! Be-hind! Don’t you understand that!?” A second of silence before round two started. “Queen Spoiled Bitch here takes her sweet ass time getting her tits out of bed, then even more time getting dressed and ready for a photo shoot. Then Mr. I’m Too Hot for Normies goes around town causing all kinds of trouble and who always bails him out? ME! That’s who! Cause we’re already understaffed as it is!”
“I think this is going to take a while, sir…” The tree frog whispered to the otter.
“It’s fine, Anthony. It’s always a spectacle beholding such a show.” Frederick smiled, almost maliciously. “An ass-kisser who would do anything for money. A spoiled girl thinking she’s the queen bee. And a wannabetough guy who thinks he’s unstoppable.” He licked his lips. “Such a delight to see such… beings fall from grace.” He leaned back in his chair, pulling out his phone to check the news, watching the last parts of the rerun. As he did so, the hammerhead shark knelt down on all fours in front of him, Freddie raising legs and resting them on his back. “Thank you, Steve~”
“We believe this is some villain’s new weapon and have managed to sedate the afflicted, we’re doing everything we can to make them all normal again.” Mane Might said, still using his stoic tone. “We have managed to cure most of them, but we have many to go. But rest assured, they’ll be cured as well, and we’ll apprehend the villain responsible.”
Kenneth was at the gym with Jerome and Jakie, him working there as a personal trainer while the other two were just killing time until his shift was over. Currently, he was attending a regular visitor on the bench press, a mouse with brown fur all over, a small athletic build, and black hair that usually covered one eye, but this time he had tied back into a ponytail. “Come on now, one more!”
The mouse, Leroy, growled, his tank top already soaked in sweat around the collar and a bit under the pits, lifting the bar with shaky hands until it was seated nicely on the rack, then sat himself up, shaking his head with a huff, sending sweat flying everywhere. “Oh god… thought I was gonna die for a second there.” He blew out some air before standing up. “I’m surprised you can lift this much.” He stated as he grabbed his water bottle, taking a big swing from it.
“It’s easy really. Then again I’m kinda cheating, you know, being a dragon and all.” Kenneth chuckled as he leaned on the bar.
“Of course, the all-powerful beings with supernatural strength.” The mouse said with a smile and an eye roll.
“Nah, dude. That’s the Guardians.” Kenneth’s expression perked up suddenly. “Have you seen Mane Might on TV? God he’s such a hunk~”
“And there you go, simping over those guys.” Leroy joked but had a hint of irritation in his voice.
“Oh come on. Give ‘em a chance.” Kenneth urged with a gentle slap to Leroy’s faint abs.
“Nothing but a buncha hot air, that’s their deal. Not to mention they cherry-pick who to save.” He took one last gulp of his water before putting the bottle down. “They try to be subtle about it, but they do it. You’ll see it if you bother looking behind all the glitter and glamour.”
“Hey now, let’s not go throwing such stuff around.”
“Oh really? Then what about Larry, huh? His accident happened during a villain attack, all of the Guardians were there, they focused on saving some sleazy politician and literally left everyone else, including Larry, to fend for themselves.”
“They… saved others…” Kenneth replied weakly. Larry was a friend of his and Leroy from their college days, the accident he was in ended with him losing function in both his legs, permanently.
“Oh yeah, you’re right…” Again, Leroy answered in a mocking tone, counting on his fingers. “A police chief, former military general, and a well-known/famous lawyer. All proven to be corrupt and twisted as fuck.” He gently poked at Kenneth’s chest. “Wake the fuck up, man. They’re not heroes, they’re just well-dressed mercenaries.”
Kenneth let out an irritated huff, smacking the mouse’s hand away. “You know what, fuck you!” He growled in Leroy’s face before stomping away, towards the bathrooms. He had great respect for the Guardians, still remembering how Mane Might, in his younger days, saved his life during a villain attack when Kenneth himself was just a kid. He owed his life to the man, which is why he absolutely hated it when someone talked shit about them, in fact he used to get into a lot of fights because of it when he was younger.
He splashed some water on his face to calm himself down a bit, grabbing his towel and wiping his face. “Doing okay, kiddo?” He turned to the man with the voice that he recognized pretty easily. His dad stood at the door of the bathroom, arms crossed over his chest, looking like an older version of Kenneth, only his scales were more a purple hue, and his mane was all black, not to mention the thick beard and sideburns, with two big and majestic horns jutting from his head.
“Yeah dad, just had to cool off a bit.” He said in a small voice, taking a deep breath and releasing it. “I’ll get back to work now. Catch ya later, yeah?” He gave his dad a small pat on the arm as he walked past him, although the older Brimstone was pretty sure his son still had some baggage to unload off of his shoulders but decided against pressing the matter.
Jackie and Jerome were waiting for their boyfriend, worried expressions on their faces. Kenneth just smiled and pulled them both into a hug. “Thanks, you guys. I’m fine.”
“If you need anything, we’re here for you, yeah?” Jerome assured with a small pat to Kenneth’s arm, while Jackie just nodded.
“Thanks.” He gave each of them a small peck on the cheek, then a pat on the rear each. “Now get back out there, I wanna see you pumping some serious iron!” Then they walked out and back into the main area. Kenneth then made his way over to Leroy, who was doing another set on the bench press. “Hey man.”
“Hey…” Leroy replied as he put the bar back in its place before standing up, rubbing the back of his head. “Hey, listen… I’m sorry for going off like that. I know how much respect you have for the Guardians and-”
Kenneth stopped him from continuing. “All cool man, all cool. Can’t expect anyone to have the same opinion as I am. Would be a pretty dull world if they did.”
“Great, great. How about hitting Laura’s after this? My treat!” Leroy offered with a wide smile.
Kenneth was about to reply when someone burst into the gym, panting hard for breath. “EVERYONE RUN! A VILLAIN IS RAMPAGING!” As if to add credit to their claim, a large explosion happened really close boy, a second later, a burning, demolished car landed on the sidewalk facing the gym.
That sent everyone in the gym into a terrified frenzy, racing right out of the doors, some toppling over and others walking all over them, just as another explosion went off, a bit closer this time. “Dad!” Kenneth called to his father who was close by. “Take the others and get out of here… here’re the keys, my car is in the parking lot!”
“What!? I’m not gonna leave you!” His father retorted, grabbing onto his arm tightly.
“There are others who need help getting out of here. Besides, I came with my motorbike.” He pushed his father away. “Now go. Go!” Then raced over to one of the injured patrons of the gym, barely able to stand up as his leg was twisted badly. “Come on… let’s get you out of here…” He managed to lift the young man up, and helped him walk out of the building, just as something hit it hard, crumbling it down to rubble. “Oh shit!” They had to quicken their pace.
Once they were far enough, he sat the young man on the foot of a building, then looked around frantically. “Gotta be something I can use to get us out of here quicker… My motorcycle was back at the parking lot… not a good choice either way...”
Just then, Leroy’s hovercar came to halt beside them, the mouse lowering the window and calling to them, his round glasses faintly glimmering in the light. “Get in, quick!” Kenneth didn’t ask any questions, just picked the guy up and quickly pushed him into the back of the car before getting in himself. Seeing that they both got in safely, Leroy pressed his foot down on the accelerator and drove off, if his car had wheels, he would’ve burned major rubber from that move.
Kenneth looked back, seeing the destruction that was happening. “Phew… I think we’re clear…” He looked through the windows at the people running for their lives, he wanted to help them all, but Leroy’s car wasn’t big enough. “The hell is going on…? Where are the Guardians.”
“I’m sure they’re doing… something…” Leroy wanted to say something else, but this was neither the place nor the time.
*BOOM* A violent explosion happened right beside them, forcing the car to veer to the side. “Holy shit!” Kenneth cursed, holding the injured man beside him in place, while Leroy expertly drove the car straight. Many other explosions happened around them, but Leroy was showing expert skills in driving, drifting and turning away from each explosion and fallen debris, until they were in the clear, for real this time.
They drove for a bit longer until they found a gathering of ambulances and police cars setting up a barricade of sorts, Leroy drifting to a halt close to one ambulance, right before Kenneth got out of the car, helping the young man up as well. “We need some help here!” Hearing him, two paramedics raced over and took the guy off his hands, giving him some words of gratitude before tending to the man.
“Feel better now, ‘hero’?” Leroy teased as he gave the dragon a small smack on the arm.
Kenneth just smiled in reply, then his phone rang… checking the caller to see it was Jackie calling. He accepted the call instantly. “Where the hell are you!?” The golden retriever demanded, pretty loudly, his voice cracking a bit.
“Sorry, sorry. Just finished attending to someone. Where are you guys?”
“We’re home, you’re dad’s here with us.” Then Jackie began sobbing. “P-please, just come home. Please.”
Hearing his mate crying like that tore at his heart. “Don’t worry. I’ll be home soon. I promise.” Then hung up. “Well, guess we better head home. And you are coming with me.” He offered, placing a hand on Leroy’s shoulder.
“You bet, I am! My apartment complex was somewhere back there!” He gestured to the chaos behind them. “Bet it’s a buncha rubble right now.”
*KA-BOOM* A pretty large explosion erupted in the distance, sending a large piece of debris flying right at them, too big to run away from, actually.
“OOOHHHH SSSHHHIIITTT!!!” Both Kenneth and Leroy cursed loudly, just as the chunk of debris landed on them.
Kenneth slowly opened his eyes, his sight adjusting to the blindingly white surroundings, once his sight cleared up, he noticed that he was in… a room of sorts, white everything with details of gold and black, as well as many colorful crystals embedded stylishly into the walls, as well as some sort of display in the center, holding a few, differently colored crystals covered in black casings, with the sides exposed and the top was covered with a small spike of the same crystals popping up, they were also attached to what seems to be a wrist bind of some sort. “Wow…” He looked around a bit and found Leroy beside him, crouched down and holding his head in his hands. “Hey, dude, get up…”
Leroy slowly raised his head and looked up, having to blink a couple of times to adjust to the brightness. “Wow… so this is heaven… and that means we’re… dead?”
Hearing that, Kenneth’s heart sank. “No… nononono!” He held his head tightly, hyperventilating. “W-w-we can’t be dead… I-I promised Jackie and the others I’d be home… Noooo… this can’t be happening…”
“You are not dead.” They looked up to suddenly find a young adult raptor facing them, his golden mane almost glowing under the bright light, his regal but revealing clothes being a bit of a distraction. “You’re alive and kicking.”
“Um… hello?” Leroy greeted with confusion… and a very visible blush on his face, while Kenneth was stunned silent.
“Greetings.” The raptor greeted with a small bow. “My name is Regis Evermoore, former prince of Lumeria and currently a guest at your planet.” Suddenly a holoscreen appeared, showing the destruction that was happening all over Eterna City. “Although we might not be bystanders for long…”
“We?” Kenneth asked with confusion, just then, a door opened and in walked a tall and elegant human woman, her hair shimmering with different colors while her feathery dress flowed behind her.
“We apologize for bringing you in, like this. But we greatly need your help.” She gestured to the screen that was floating in front of them. “But the Virilian forces have finally begun their move.”
“Virilian?” Kenneth asked, genuinely curious, while Leroy tried poking at the screen.
“They are the ones responsible for the chaos that has been happening for the last three years.” The raptor, Regis, explained. “They used to be the Umbrian Empire, a sister kingdom to Lumeria, but the current king changed their name to match their… current methods of conquest.” He swiped the air, the screen flipping around and showing a diagram of an adult’s body with various objects moving about as he explained. “They create these strange Viruses that invade a mortal’s body, infecting them on a mental and emotional stage, feeding off of their twisted desires.”
The lady then took over. “Then this Virus matures and reaches a stage where it doesn’t need a host anymore, so it leaves them before draining the rest of their energy, leaving them as empty husks or in some rare cases, killing them.”
“Three years?” Kenneth thought about it… then it clicked in his mind. “There was news about a meteor crashing into Earth and some disturbance in the atmosphere. Both happened three years ago.”
“The ‘meteor’ was us.” Regis gestured to himself and the human lady. “And the ‘disturbance’ I’m sure was the Virilians sneaking their way into Earth, somehow.”
“Oh crap…” Leroy exclaimed lowly as he watched the screen, which switched back to a live feed of the city. The Guardians finally arrived on the scene, they were fighting creatures that looked like people, but their bodies were either all black with white details or all white with black details, all of them wearing strange masks that just covered their heads, with small faces up top with strange, alien markings up top, as well as all over their bodies. There was a LOT of them and the ones who werent fighting the Guardians were attacking the civilians, quite viciously too… their methods and movement was strangely similar to the affiliated civilians from the news video.
“They don’t stand a chance.” Regis commented as the Guardians were fighting these creatures that were clearly minions, but they were losing, bad.
“They’re barely doing anything to them…” Leroy commented as he watched the one-sided fight.
“Which is why we need your help.” She repeated, pressing her palm on one side of the display, which glowed and let out a melodic hum, right before one of the crystals, a bright red one, began floating in the air. “We can give you the power to fight back. To protect your family, your friends, your loved ones, and everything you hold dear. The power to become a Sentinel of the Cyberverse.”
“The Cyberverse?” Leroy asked while Kenneth was more entranced by the crystal.
“A special space that the Viruses can invade, it can be either inside of a mechanical system or a living being, and each is different and unique in some way or another.” Regis explained. “With the power of a Sentinel, we can put down these Viruses before they can mature.”
“And if they do before we could do that?” Leroy asked some more, while Kenneth was slowly reaching for the crystal.
“We can still use the powers of a Sentinel to fight in the real world as well. We, the Sentinels are the only ones who can fight against the Viruses and the Virilian army.”
Kenneth held the crystal in his hand, it gave a brief shine, letting out a pleasant chime-like sound as if accepting him. Out of strange instinct, he put it on his wrist… and the binds fastened themselves around his wrist on their own. “Amazing… the crystal accepted you as its wielder, just like that.” Regis commented with awe.
“The red crystal, the embodiment of passion, a fitting for someone with a courageous and passionate heart, as yourself.” The woman commented, as well. “Will you tell us your name, young man?”
“Kenneth. It’s Kennth Brimstone.” He answered with determination, holding up the crystal on his wrist. “And I’ll gladly become one of your Sentinals.”
“Thank you, and we’re glad to have you with us.” She gave a small, regal bow.
“And not a moment too soon.” Regis was looking at the screen, just this black, large beast of a bull-like creature appeared, surrounded by lots of minions. A black, humanoid helmet that was a mix between a knight’s helmet and a gimp mask with large, dark grey horns, leather straps all over the abnormally large and muscular body, lots of white spokes jutting out of his shoulders and back, and very suggestive and revealing lower wearing, which was a simply armor boots, tight leather pants, and a thong with a hefty-looking bulge at the front, his body covered in strange, alien markings, as well as glowing and pulsing red veins and a large, red crystal embedded painfully into his right shoulder. “Looks like we were too late on this one. That’s a mature Virus.”
“Then what are we waiting for!?” Kenneth asked with urgency.
Regis just nodded. “Then we need to prepare, come with me.” He made his way over to an clear space to the side, standing face to face with Kenneth, holding his own crystal, which was an exact replica of the dragon’s, only Regis’ was white. “Repeat after me: By the power of Lumerai!” As soon as he said that, his crystal began glowing brightly then flicked his claw at the spike jutting up from the crystal, which let out a pleasant and soft, but loud ring. His body was suddenly covered in bright, white light.
“By the power of Lumeria!” Kenneth repeated, his own crystal glowing just as brightly, then copied Regis by flicking at his own crystal, before his own body was covered in a red light, that was just as bright.
Their clothes disappeared and their bodies began changing as well. Regis’ scales changed from brown to white with black stripes, his mane switched colors to silver with a golden streak, before his head was covered up by a white helmet with a black visor, leaving his mouth exposed, followed by two, white crystal horns jutting out of the helmet, giving him a dragon-like appearance with the center of the forehead having another white crystal embedded into it. Then his body was slowly covered in a new outfit, a shoulder cape that only covered his left side, a leather harness over his chest with white crystals embedded along the straps and a bigger one in the center, his nipple rings changing to crystals of the same colors, and finally, some leather, crotchless chaps, with a black crotch pouch, his outfit was mostly white with black and golden details.
Then came Kenneth’s turn, first his scales changed from grey to bright red with a white front, then his black mane turned to complete silver before getting covered in a similar helmet, his horns growing longer and turning to bright red crystals, while the front of it also had a big, red crystal embedded into it. Then his outfit, his nipple piercings turning into golden rings, a golden chain harness fastened around his upper body with a big, red crystal in the middle, the chains connected to his newly formed nipple rings as well, golden bracelets with a big red crystal on each hand, finally some crotchless chaps, also with a black crotch pouch, with silver and gold chains loosely wrapped around his hips, his outfit being mainly red with black, golden, and silver details.
“Seriously?” Kenneth asked in confusion and shock as he regarded his outfit. “Like, sure, I do feel powerful, but seriously!?”
“What do you mean?” Regis asked casually, clearly not phased by his outfit. “This is how Sentinals usually dress up.”
“You’ve gotta be kidding me… no one’s gonna take us seriously while looking like rejects of a scifi porno.”
“I don’t mind it.” Leroy mumbled silently to himself, gently biting his lower lip as his eyes flicked back and forth between Regis’ and Kenneth’s hefty-looking bulges.
“Do we need to be taken seriously to protect and save lives?” The raptor asked in a ‘matter-of-fact’ tone.
Kenneth was about to say something… but stop… eyes looking around… “Touche.” He began slowly lifting his legs up and down, moving about in place. “And why doesn’t feel like I got something stuck up my ass?” He checked around back… and sure enough, there was something there. “Are you fucking kidding me!?” He ran over to one of the walls, which were clean enough to reflect his image, raised his tail… yep, that was clearly a silver butt plug with a red crystal on the base.
“Sentinals also wore those, they actually help us hone our focus in combat.” Again, Regis explained in that serious ‘matter-of-fact’ tone, turning around and raising his own tail to reveal a similar butt plug, but his had a white crystal on the base.
“Not to cut the fashion show short, but…” Leroy pointed to the screen, which showed the Virus making quick work of the Guardians and resuming its rampage of the city. With everyone’s attention on the screen, he took the chance to quickly adjust the front of his pants.
“We’ll address this… uniform, later. Now we have a city to save.” Kenneth stated with urgency and determination. Regis nodded in reply, gesturing with his head to the side for the dragon to follow, they walked up to a wall with seven spaces lined up, each one having a differently colored flag above them on the wall. They each stood in the space with their respective color on it, before they were bathed in bright lights of their respective color and disappeared.
“So…” Leroy suddenly started. “I’m Leroy Oldman! A pleasure to meet you!”
“Savanti Evermoore.” The lady replied with her regal bow.
Back in the city, the Guardians were already fighting a losing battle, once that huge abomination joined, it became a hopeless endeavor. With one swipe of his large arm, the creature smacked two of the Guardians into the nearest ruins before casually resuming its rampage.
A leopard lady in white, red, and blue outfit that looked closely like a nurse’s outfit knelt over Mane Might’s bruised body, a healing light emitting from her hands. “This thing is knocking us around like bowling pins.” He commented as his injuries slowly disappeared. “We tried everything, why is nothing working.”
“Boss!” A couple of other heroes, a young and lean cheetah male in a blue and yellow outfit called out, just as he zoomed to a stop beside them, followed closely by a black-furred tiger with an outfit that was a mix between tribal and martial arts monk. “No matter what we do, that thing just swats us away like flies!” The cheetah spoke, fear clearly showing in his voice
Mane Might closed his eyes, deep in thought, for a few seconds… then reached his decision. “Evacuate the people, no one gets left behind.”
“But, what about the city?” The leopard nurse asked with concern.
“We’ll let it have the city. We can always rebuild.” Just then, his ears picked up on some screaming. They all turned in the direction, seeing the creature looming over a young couple, large fist raised high up to strike… then swing down! “NO!!” Just then, two balls of light slammed into the creature, pushing it far away and into a crumbled building. “What?”
The balls of light disappeared, revealing two young men with… pretty provocative and suggestive outfits, one was red and the other white. “Looks like we made it in time.” The white one spoke with relief in his voice.
The red one turned to the couple. “Get out of here, get as far away as you can.” Hearing no reply from them, he noticed that they were looking down at his pretty obvious bulge with blushes on their faces. With a deep blush of his own, he repeated more sternly. “Just go!” This time they heard him and dashed away as fast as they could.
Just then, the Virus burst out of the rubble that fell on it, clearly pissed off from all the steam coming out of it and the angrily glowing veins. “Seems like this one’s ready to get serious,” Regis commented, taking a fighting stance. “Ready, Brimstone?”
Kenneth took a fighting stance of his own as well. “Wouldn’t have accepted this job if I wasn’t. Oh, and just Kenneth or Kenny is fine.” Then they both charged at the creature.
With a booming roar, the Virus called for the minions to handle this meddling duo, but despite their numbers, they were being made short work of by the flashy new arrivals, as Kenneth and Regis fought with all their might. Kenneth was mostly fighting with his legs and feet, showing off his expertise in capoeira, before delivering an extra-powerful kick, which released a burst of flame, sending the minion flying into a nearby wall before disintegrating into ash and disappearing. “Holy crap? Did I just do that?” He asked no one in particular, dodging a couple of cudgels aimed right at his head.
“Indeed you did.” Regis’ fighting style almost look like he was dancing and waltzing around the enemies, doing a perfect spin kick with his leg covered in bright light, actually slicing through three minions at once. “Yours is Fire element, in case you haven’t noticed.”
“Oh! That’s awesome!” Kenneth exclaimed as he was holding one in a tight headlock, before throwing him into a group of minions. “You know, fighting with this buttplug *dodge* isn’t as difficult *punch* as I thought it was.”
“Is that what you call it in your world?” Regis delivered another perfect, slicing roundhouse kick to a group of minions around him. “Back home, we call them Foci. Get it? Cause they help you ‘focus’ more in battle?” The two of them finally came together before delivering a powerful punch each to the last, remaining minion, sending it flying away at high speed and slamming right into the bigger creature, which was clearly unphased.
The minion fell to the ground, groaning as it tried to get up… only to be stomped into ash by the big Virus, which roared out once again in anger. “Looks like it’s the big guy’s turn.” Kenneth stated as he took a fighting stance, really getting into his new powers.
“Don’t let your guard down, the Vira Majors are on a different level than the Spawn.” Regis warned as he took his own fighting stance. “We’re gonna need some extra fire power.”
“Any ideas?”
“Just one.” Regis raised his hands into the air and called out. “Shining Dreams!” Just then, his ‘focus’ glowed briefly before coming out, splitting into two orbs of light, and flying into hands, turning into a pair of chakrams, with the blades lined with white crystal spikes.
“Whoa! We can do that?” Kenneth was in total awe, his eyes sparkling behind his visor while his tail thumped the ground with excitement.
“Of course. Each Cyber Focus can take the shape of a weapon that fits the wearer’s expertise and fighting style.” He held up the chakrams. “These happen to be mine!” He then threw them with all his might, both spinning and flying gracefully in the air and slicing into the Vira Major’s body before gliding back into his hands. “Just search deep inside yourself, you’ll find the answer and the Focus will heed your command.” Then Regis charged at the big Virus, gracefull dancing around the creature’s heavy and sluggish frame.
“Deep inside…” Kenneth closed his eyes and tried to imagine, the image of a fiery dragon appearing in his head… it let out a triumphant roar and he got it. “Dragon Prints!” He actually felt the focus slipping out, electing a brief ‘Whoa!’ out of him, before it glowed bright red, split into two and covered his legs and feet, transforming into a pair of robotic greaves with a dragon’s motif, a dragon’s head on each foot. “Well, this is fitting, indeed~” He instantly liked it. He jumped high into the air, with strength he didn’t know he had, his greeves burning hotly, before he began a vertical spin and charging right at Major. “Burning Crescent!” The heel of his foot came crashing down against the Virus’ head, audibly cracking the skull and forcing it down onto one knee. He flipped majestically in the air, his body almost glimmering in the light before landing perfectly on the ground, a smug grin on his face. “And stay the fuck down!”
Regis hopped back and stood beside him. “What did I say about underestimating the Vira Major?” As he repeated his warning, the Vira Major stood up, growling angrily as the wounds it had received earlier all began healing in an instant, even the cracked skull reformed itself in seconds.
“Oh, fuck me! What do now!?” Kenneth screamed loudly at no one in particular.
“I believe I have the solution.” Leroy’s voice suddenly came through the intercom in their helmets.
“Leroy?”
“How are you using our equipment?” Regis asked, with genuine awe in his voice.
The mouse huffed with pride. “It took a while, but I more or less figured everything out. Her majesty was a great help as well.” Kenneth was in genuine awe as well, he knew the mouse as a genius when it came to technology, but damn. Then Leroy took a more serious tone. “That creature, Vira Major, right? It won’t go down unless you destroy it’s core.”
“Shoudl’ve figured…” Regis growled as he looked at the Vira Major. “Disgustingly hulking body, rage for fuel and steam, no plan other than random destruction? Yeah, this guy has General Minos’ prints all over him.”
“General Minos?” Kenneth and Leroy questioned in unison.
“I’ll explain later. But for now… where is that damned core…”
Kenneth looked all over the creature’s body… then his eyes zeroed in on the dark-red crystal on its shoulders. “Leroy can you scan that thing from over there?”
“Yes, I believe I can. Why?”
“Try scanning around it’s right shoulder.”
A few seconds later. “That’s it! The core is that red crystal!” Leroy analyzed it a bit more. “But it’s gonna need a pretty powerful head to destroy.”
Kenneth thought for a few seconds before an idea sparked in his head. “Regis, can we somehow combine our attacks?”
“I believe so, but wh-” It instantly clicked in the raptor’s head, causing him to smile widely. “Yeah… yeah, that could work. No Sentinal thought of that before, but we could try it!”
Kenneth nodded with his own confident smile. “You know what to do then!” Right before dashing with all his speed at the Vira Major, his greeves getting covered in violent flames, before jumping high into the air, everyone watching, heroes and civilians alike, looked on in awe as if the world slowed down, watching the dragon flip and twirl in the air before taking a flying kick position. “Dynamic Expulsion!” A burst of flame exploded behind him, sending him flying like a bullet at the Virus.
“Red!” Regis called out, tossing his chakrams out, which fly over to the dragon, attaching to the sides of his kicking foot and spinning violently, creating a bigger burst of white and red flames.
The kick made contact, right into the Vira Major’s shoulder crystal, electing a loud roar of pain out of it, the spinning blades added with the intense heat and the crystal was cracking in seconds. “Break damn you!” Kenneth commanded, more powerful flames covering his body, just then the crystal shattered, the momentum forcing the dragon blasting right through the shoulder, taking it and the entire arm clean off, electing a louder roar of agony from the Vira Major.
“That’s it! Now take it down!” Leroy urged loudly, Savanti clutching her hands against her chest, which was filling with hope.
Regis called back his chakrams before smashing them together, both broke into many smaller crystals which floated in the air, surrounding the Virus. “Diamond Puzzle!” He called out as he shot a powerful beam of light, which reflected and danced around all crystals, before converging into a bigger and more powerful beem, blasting a large hole through the Virus’ abdomen.
“And for the coupe de grace!” Kenneth called out before doing multiple flips, his greaves covered in powerful flames, then jumped high up in the air, doing the spinning heel kick once again. “Burning Crescent!” Once again, his fiery heel came crashing down against the Vira Major’s skull, this time smashing it and forcing the head straight down the monster’s chest. Using this momentum he jumped away, landing perfectly beside Regis, who just grabbed his reformed chakrams.
The Virus’ entire body began bloating up grotesquely, beams of white and red lights breaking through cracks that appeared all over, before letting out one last roar of defeat, then exploding into majestic and beautiful light. Regis and Kenneth faced away from the explosion, taking confident and victorious poses.
After all, cool guys don’t look at explosions.
“That. Was. AWESOME!” Kenneth cheered as jumped in place.
“You did well, for a newbie Sentinal.” Regis praised with a few pats on the dragon’s shoulder. He then pressed his hand to the side of his helmet. “Auntie, time for us to head back.”
“Oh hey, look!” Kenneth said pointing up at Mane Might and other heroes coming their way. “Bet they’re coming to congratulate us.”
“Too bad. We don’t have time for that.” Regis grabbed his shoulder, just as a circle of light appeared under them, both of them disappearing into it, before it disappeared into glimmering dust.
“Who the hell were they?” Mane Might asked no one in particular.
The nurse hero blushed a bit. “Those were some… interesting outfits…”
“They were pretty cool, though!” The others looked at the speedy cheetah. “What?”
That night, Kenneth walked as quietly as he could into his house, now back to normal. “I’m home…” The moment he said that he was pounced upon by four figures.
He rubbed the intensity of the impact as he looked down, finding his crying boyfriends clutching him tightly. “Your safe…” Jerome confirmed as he sobbed into the dragon’s chest.
“Hey, hey! I’m fine. I’m alive, aren’t I?”
“You said you’d get back earlier than that!” Jackie smacked his fist against his side of Kenneth’s chest.
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. Stop breaking my ribcage, please!”
“So, you finally stopped playing hero?” The gruff voice of his father came above them, the older dragon had his arms crossed and clearly displeased. “Had us worried sick, ya know.”
Kenneth and his boyfriends all stood up, the younger dragon smoothing out his clothes. “Sorry father, some friends were caught up in all that mess and I… just had to help.”
“Son…” His father grabbed both of his shoulders tightly. “Please… I know how much you idolize the heroes, that doesn’t mean you have to be one.” He was struggling to keep his stern expression, his hands shaking. “Just… promise me you won’t do something so reckless and so… stupid, ever again.”
Kenneth was about to promise, but his words died in his mouth, looking down as he remembered fighting alongside Regis, saving that couple and the heroes, and finally the feeling of pride and accomplishment that he felt afterward. Grabbing his father’s hands and gently removing them from his shoulders. “I’m sorry dad. I can’t promise that.”
“Ken!”
“I’m sorry. But this was not about me idolizing the heroes or being one. It’s about saving my friends, saving others, someone had to do it dad. And you know me, I would have felt like absolute shit for weeks to come if I left someone die on my watch.” He took a deep breath… and released it slowly. “If I can prevent just one person from going through what Larry did, then I will do everything in my power to make sure of it.”
His father and boyfriends all looked worried, cause they knew that he was very serious about such a declaration. His father took a deep breath and slowly released it. “Fine… fine! Just… promise me- promise us, that you’ll be very, very careful and won’t do anything… too reckless and stupid.” He finished with a small smile.
Kenneth smiled back, getting a group hug from his boyfriends. “That I can promise.” Hearing that, his father joined into the group hug.
“Oh right!” Mark suddenly exclaimed, racing over to the cough and jumping over it, grabbing the remote and turning on the TV, which was showing the evening news, featuring a recording of the fight that morning. “Have you seen those two?” The crocodile asked with excitement and awe. The footage showed the fight between Regis and Kenneth against the big monster. “They were awesome!”
“Gotta admit, watching the news was quite the spectacle.” Jerome added as he took a seat on the couch, more tamely than Mark. “And they were so elegant, too.”
“Would’ve loved to know who they were.” Jackie took a seat beside Jerome, followed by Tyler who sat in Mark’s lap, letting out a hum of agreement.
“Hey, I’m gonna grab a shower real quick. How about a movie afterward?” Kenneth announced, getting a cheer of confirmation from the others, he went up to his room, taking off his clothes and tossing them with the laundry.
Before removing his pants, he slipped a hand into his pocket… and pulled out his crystal, his Cyber Morpher as Regis called it, smiling as his chest filled with pride. He always wanted to be a hero, but something told him that this was on a whole different level.
On the other, far side of the city, in an abandoned dock, the biggest warehouse there was rebuilt into a nightclub. Loud music booming and dark lights flashed all over as people danced and hollered with the music. The Dj, a white weasel with a black front, markings under his eyes, tail, fingertips, as well as a black tuft of head fur and goatee, wearing some very suggestive pants and underwear while going completely shirtless, exposing his lean and athletic upper body, golden piercings decorating his ears, left eyebrow, and lower lip, remixed and scratched on his board to his heart’s content, his music heating and riling up the crowd even more.
The club itself was called Viral, and over the three years it was erected and in business, it became known as quite the hub for people of the night, but also as the most sleazy and hedonistic club out there, as it allowed uninhibited sex to happen anywhere, including the dance floor, regardless of who was around. But somehow, despite the efforts of outside individuals who clearly didn’t like how the place operates, Viral remained in the safe and green, nothing could be found against the club itself nor the staff. So, everyone gave up and decided to leave them be.
In the second floor, the owner’s office could be found tucked away in a nice and cozy corner, the inside furnished with a luxurious carpet and furniture, as well as exotic decorations. The owner of the office and club, a tall dragon with dark purple scales, all over, and black horns sat on his desk, dressed pretty fashionably with a dark-colored shirt, vest, necktie, and suit pants, his right wrist adorned with a golden and stylish wristwatch, fingers lined with golden rings and a crystal of differing color embedded into each of them, his thick and pronounced muscles bulging out his clothes as they hugged his intimidating figure tightly. He sat on his desk with his head propped up by one arm, looking both bored and upset.
Just then, the door opened, and in casually walked a slim hyena, dressed up in a similar fashion to the dragon, but his shirt and pants were a bit brighter in color, wearing a golden chain loosely around his neck. “Hello beloved~” His voice was deep but had that sultry and confident attitude to it, leaning back on the desk in a seductive manner.
“What’s the news, Remus?” The dragon asked, his tone pretty bored with a hint of irritation.
“You were right. Savanti is reviving her Sentinals in this world, somehow.” As the hyena said that, he pressed an invisible button on the desk, just then the windows of the office closed on all sides as metallic plates covered them, right before the wall on the side opened up, revealing various computer equipment and a pretty large screen.
The screen fluttered to life before showing footage of the evening news, right before the screen focused on the white and red Sentinals making quick work of the Spawn before fighting against the Vira Major. “We know for sure that the white one is Prince Regis, but the red one is a denizen of this world. Unfortunately, we can’t find where they disappeared to after the fight.” The hyena, Remus huffed. “Savanti clearly honed her magic these past years.”
“Oooohhhh! Wouldn’t want to be that guy!” They turned to the door, just as the weasel DJ sauntered right in, a small hop in his step. “He got absolutely owned!” He ended with a low but pretty creep-sounding chuckle.
“Don’t you have a job to do, Paras?” Remus scolded sternly, crossing his arms.
“Meh, left my cute stand-in to handle things down there. Promised him to...” He gave a lewd hump in the air, with a wide, creepy grin. “Pump him full of my worms later.” Again, letting out that creepy chuckle, before slumping on one of the leather couches, kicking his feet up on the glass table as he watched the screen. “So, those are the Empress’ Sentinels. They look tough, huh?” He chuckled slightly. “Oh man, Minos must be piiiissed.”
“His fault for jumping the gun and sending out a Vira Major.” Remus let out an irritated sigh, looking over at a lengthy tube that stood beside the screen, with a glowing liquid inside switching between various, dark colors. The amount was very, very little, barely seen at the bottom and sloshing about weakly. “Now we need to up the harvesting to gather what he wasted.”
“Don’t worry. We’ll get there.” The dragon assured, his hand reaching over and rubbing lovingly at Remus’ hip. “We have all the time in the world.” Then leaned back in his seat, fingers crossed and hands resting in his lap. “As well as the numbers… and resources.” He said while thinking about the patrons of the club, having the time of their lives with sex, booze, music, and general uninhibited debauchery. Oblivious to the fact that they were just living batteries for the very creatures that will soon destroy and reshape this world of theirs.
“However…” He started as he stood up. “We still have the Empress and Prince to worry about, as well as their Sentinals. We can’t be too casual about this.” His fist clenched tightly, dark energies sparkling and dancing around it. “Those bright bastards will be swallowed by the darkness of vengeance.”
Both Remus and Paras stood up, hands on their chests, and gave a respectful bow. “Yes, Lord Vindictus. It shall be done.” Then both of them left the office.
The dragon, Vindictus pressed another invisible button on his desk, the machines pulling back into the wall and it closing behind, while the windows were uncovered. He spun to look at the full moon through one of the windows. “Revenge will be mine, father. Even if it’s the last thing I do.”
